#I'm on to something here #screwtio #aventio #hsr aventurine #veritas ratio #dr ratio #screwllum #hsr #honkai star rail #now as a disclaimer I'm not personally a huge fan of aventio #exclusively because i think they are so SO much funnier as gay friends #but something about combining the two clicks really well to me #Aventurine and Screwllum would be pretty fantastic metamours i think #they'd have a lot of fun playing off each other #but also Screwllum being there to dispute Aventurine's doubts over whether or not Ratio cares as a verified outside perspective #listing off shit like upticks in heartrate pupil dialation etc on top of being like #he talks about you fondly he knows your favorite things i can personally attest that you are very evidently important to him #stuff Aventurine can't easily write off when coming from not only an outside perspective but also a literal Genius #and on the flip side Aventurine would finally have someone other than Ratio and the Trailblazer he can talk to with relative ease #someone who has also been through a frankly incredibly traumatizing historical event #someone who is also under constant pressure to perform a certain way #someone who has gained wealth and power at the cost of carrying responsibilities on his shoulders and never being truly free #appearing free to anyone who glances but neither of them really are #Screwllum seemingly able to freely pursue whatever research he wants but ultimately permanently shackled with his titles #and public pressure to be the perfect poised representative for all of inorganic kind #forever treading the line of being both a desirable ally and a sufficient threat that you wouldn't want to cross him #and similarly Aventurine stuck in his cycle that he feels only death can free him from of gambling with his life on the line #because the IPC basically owns him #because let's be honest Jade's offer was just a lifetime labor contract he couldn't refuse #granted the illusion of freedom through gaining money and power but never truly free

Bakudeku getting extremely more popular and normalized bothers the shit out of me a little bit because I did not spend years of my life hiding that I like that ship out of fear of getting harassed for everyone to now shift so quickly over the last chapters. I think that people in the fandom trying to overexplain stuff to justify devs' decision to reduce worldstate choices to a mere handful is becoming a bit.. unnecessary

"It's northern Thedas, how many of your previous choices actually matter there?" I'm pretty sure the majority of us do realize it but that's not the point. Sure, we can attribute any mindset to a recurring NPC to not overshare because your Rook is a stranger to them, but I think it's getting a bit ridiculous because again, the logic of it or plausability is not the point... any recurring character in inquisition could've not shared anything about their personal life by that logic but my question is, would that be fun though? Like, the majority of theories or "imagines" or possible explanations I've read sound plausible and make sense, but it's not fun, and it can flatten characters, and it certainly doesn't make it feel like the previous choices matter... in a game series where your choices should matter. Well, some of them.

I get it though, maybe it's some form of damage control/trying to calm people down. The fandom does need to chill a bit plus some people are really going too far (let's not send death threats to devs please), but overall, I think people are just… mourning in a way (or rather processing) and expressing their disappointment, which is fair. I certainly feel that.

#we're not even talking about anything extraordinary. like some lines are not that hard to implement nor do they alienate newer players #i was fine with what dai had to offer and THAT was considered little. now we have even less than that #i'm pretty sure people are still gonna play the game despite that tho. i definitely am #and even if they aren't ... it's okay too alright?#it might sound controversial but i think it's okay for people to be angry and express their anger (again not in form of death threats)#it's a video game sure and it shouldn't be that serious but come on let's not emotionally repress ourselves and do copium too hard #it's never been sunshine and rainbows here and it never will be #dragon age #txttag #da posting

had a really funny idea for an ask blog ft. Vanny and another plex employee oc,,

#Get this right. 2 pizzaplex employees accidentally get tumblr famous bc someone has been leaving weird graffiti everywhere and #Getting up to other shenanigans and sends asks abt it to this one like urban exploration blog. Who later gets an ask basically like #Hey I work at the plex?? This is some insider info only another employee would know????#The two anons are constantly back and forth in this persons inbox and are eventually assigned nicknames #‘Pix’ for the mystery vandalism employee because she shows up as nothing but weird pixels and glitches on cameras #The other employee is ‘Cam’ because they have been monitoring all this on the cameras #One day they get each others blogs and keep sending each other death threats and shit jokingly but one day pix warns cam not to go to a #Weird late staff meeting #The next night it is literally just the two of them and they think this is so funny they start a blog trying to uncover why everyone else #Just isn’t coming in. At first they are like well layoffs duhhhh #But then ppl send asks and messages like ‘hey have u seen this employee it’s my brother/friend/etc’ and they realize shit is actually going #On in here #One night cam is live-blogging their shift and sees a weird intruder in a costume with a knife and runs around eventually escaping and find #Pix lying at the bottom of a stairwell unconscious with a bloody nose later #Takes pix to the hospital. Only to be alone in the plex the next night and suddenly get a phone call saying that pix left the hospital. Bc #Pix left cam as the emergency contact because ‘she didn’t have anyone else’.#Cam has to survive the masked intruder #eventually starts recording everything but when the intruder gets closer the footage gets glitchier #Eventually there’s just one fuzzy image of the intruder with Roxy and Monty standing on either side and that’s the last we hear of cam. Nex #Post is pix saying hehe thanks for following our little story aha !! Bye now it’s over!! And that’s it…..heheheheh #Killer rab blog has become a little boring for me so… might start this soon….#I’d have to make like 2 blogs plus some fake dms too probably . Damn

Nobody fucking talk to me i just finished rewatching arcane and it was DEVASTATING I need to KILL

#i have some thoughts marinating about silco and loyalty especially in the last episode #and his relationship with jinx and sevika and vander and ough #its marinating its marinating #but like. vander's philosophy is loyalty above all else and the lanes reflect that when hes in charge #silco's philosophy is that every one betrays him/jinx and that's why he can fight piltover #unlike vander he doesnt care about the casualties or the suffering he causes because hes all alone. he cant trust anyone #but then last episode vander makes TWO choices that put loyalty above all else #the whole show we see silco's power crumbling. the chembarons are riled up marcus dies so he has no pawns in piltover etc #but he makes the decision to trust sevika's loyalty (even says 'i still believe in loyalty')#and bc of that she eradicates a threat for him. she kills finn and picks up his lighter (symbolising power) and gives it to silco #and THEN he chooses not to give jinx up not even to achieve an independent zaun #(granted we dont see it come to fruition)#but in making that choice he assures jinx's loyalty to him even after his death #silco was willing to give up everything hed worked for for jinx and so jinx gave up the chance of reconciliation with vi to achieve their #mutual goal #like. silco had made plans for peace and in setting off the rocket jinx destroyed that possibility #but silco was never gonna go for thag deal anyway AND silco was dead #like jayce said you cant make a deal with a snake and cut off its head #the deal was never gonna work. instead she returned to their original plan of building and using a weapon against piltover #which is the plan silco would have returned to if hed been alive given he wasnt gonna follow through on the deal for peace #so yeah. silcos undercity is built on power rather than loyalty but his control is fracturinf the whole time #its ultimately loyalty which keeps him in power and achieves his goals #ALSO the line 'is there anything so undoing as a daughter' is interesting here #because vander gave up his idealogy of pacifism to protect those he cares about in order to save vi #he gives into violence once again because its the only way to save her from silcos goons #but silco gives into loyalty and turns his back on his vision of a free zaun because of jinx #idkidk its all fun and muddled and hmmm #arcane

not sorry. i extend very little sympathy and patience towards tras who are underage, and the only ones who do get said sympathy are TIFs. but again. it's MICROSCOPIC levels of sympathy.

I put on a series of mediocre-to-bad horror/thrillers tonight and I have now watched

A movie I honestly kept confusing for 'picnic at hanging rock' when it came up on the hbo max suggested list

the most graphic allstate commercial i've ever seen

if 'sharp objects' was the most painfully canadian movie you've ever seen
