The last step of my daily skin care routine: Moisturizer. This is what I use daily in the morning before applying make-up or at night when I’m not using a sheet mask or sleeping mask. A moisturizer as the name says, hydrates, nurtures and protects your skin: it shields your skin from all outside dirt. There are so many moisturizers out there for different type of skins, with creamy/gel texture and with/without SPF. As I have a dry skin, I need a hydrating moisturizer, preferably a light weight gel cream (e.g Hera Waterin Gel Cream or Primera Alpine Berry Watery Cream). Because of the soft gel texture, it absorps better into your skin without making your skin oily. Another moisturizer I like is Cremorlab Snow Falls Melting Cream: like the Smooth Pudding in my previous post, it has a creamy texture that melts on your skin, but it is light and not at all oily. After the moisturizer in the morning, I apply a BB cream with SPF or a sunblock. You might wonder: how long is she busy with all these steps? Well I can tell you, usually 10-15 min in the morning and 10-40 min in the evening if I use a sheet mask (because for a sheet mask you have to apply it for 20-30 min 😉). So it has many steps but getting that healthy, glowing, dewy look starts with skin care and not with make-up! And it does not have to take hours and hours 😄. Since I am getting so many positive feedback about my daily beauty routine serie, I will soon start to tell you about exfoliating/peeling and the sleeping mask, which I do less frequently.
