I'm so glad that the tumblr side of the fandom seems to be catching up on the Randy-specific brainrot I seem to have slowly fallen into lol. I assume most people got here from That One Spiritworld Clip or from That One Halloween Costume 🤣 Here's what I've found so far in case others haven't:
Bandcamp has 2 songs, neither of which are on spotify. One is kind of a joke from spring 2020 telling motherfuckers to wash their hands (read the description and credits it's hilarious), the other is a cover of Cherry by Harry Styles (idk the original but I love his cover)
He doesn't seem to have any other solo music (unless you count covers on instagram) but he does have a public playlist of his discography. ...He used to have a lot more public playlists like his girlfriend's discography as well but I guess they aren't there anymore?? That's new
The other example i've found of his singing is when Dan Andriano and the Bygones does live shows, sometimes they cover Burnin For You by Blue Oyster Cult and he takes lead vocals on that (and seems to need the lyrics printed out in front of him lol)
The Moore Family Band's about section on spotify. Also their instagram is where at least one of those Marilyn Monroe costume photos came from. (I could've sworn I saw the color one somewhere before it started going around but I can't find it.) Also his little sister is bi and these photos are adorable :D They also have a little interview with some songs interspersed.
Get Married's song Jeezy Beach is hilarious because it calls out Randy specifically. He doesn't want to go to the beach he wants to watch tv (and honestly? Mood. Sand sucks- Anakin was right- and NorCal beaches are always cold.) (it's also funny for anyone who's done the drive down to Santa Cruz. it's a terrible drive fuck that lol.)

Also in the replies of the Steph concept art on twitter announcing she was gonna be in a new project at DC (posted by Travis Mercer), there were at least 3 comments saying "will Tim be there?" I don't care how hard you ship timsteph I'm exploding you with my eyeballs if you do that on my girls post again

I'm not denying you the view that spoiler has a certain genderific swag to her but the needless dragging of her batgirl persona#steph got treated badly as spoiler bc she was A Girl. it's genuinely that simple dixon felt batman and robin would never stand for a girl-#-running around doing the things they did and would need to chivalrously stop her. he's gone on record saying this#she's constantly getting belittled by mostly men (cass also dismisses her but it feels distinctly less gendered)#and in the end it's barbara who learns to give steph a second chance despite her mistakes and they have a positive relationship#something ppl are quick to dismiss as being in and of itself sexist bc they're pairing the two girls off together#as if batgirl isn't a legacy and as if babs and steph don't have parallels in their resilience and refusal to accept when ppl tell them no#for better and for worse!!#like. idk how you took the strongest feminist element in that comic (bc there are elements of sexism here and there! 2009 n all)#and somehow turn it into ''heteronormativity'' YOU PPL ARE JUST SAYING WORDS AT THIS POINT!!!#anyway. someone take away my internet access

#I saw a really interesting twitter thread the other day (well. it was like 3 tweets) talking about how brat elevated charli out of pop's#''middle class'' and thereby sort of... unrecognizably twisted the meaning/impact of brat#I think their words were ''if everything is brat then nothing is brat''#which I thought was such a good encapsulation of how memery elevated brat out of charli's relatively niche position in pop culture and#then consumed the culture itself#(TO BE CLEAR this would not have worked if brat wasn't such a fantastic album. but it is!!!)#and this song in particular — which was originally about being jealous of a more successful artist — is now about the struggles of success#idk it was really interesting and I'm deeply curious to see where charli's career goes next#as someone who previously only really knew her big hits and was unaware of the niche nyc it girl vibe of her and her ilk#like to WHOM is “I'm so julia” a meaningful sentence outside of a very niche subculture!!!! it's INTERESTING#it was cool to read someone's take on it who was more familiar with charli and her niche and such#it's such a fun album#and I'm working through the remixes now!!

what’s up with me and plane crashing dreams. perhaps my life long obsession with the show air crash investigations is hitting or smth
#this is the second time in a row#I slept like four hours but i still managed to dream something#and I dreamed all of this between this post and my last reblog.#basically it all started that I was reading a post (idk if it was Twitter) of a woman saying that she had to wait for 3 hours on a airplane#for the bathroom to free and she had to stay awake the entire time#and a moment later I was on that plane too. watching her. I was about to return to my seat (I think). also i was in first class. the only#way I’ll ever experience it) but OUT OF THE NOWHERE my last year surpervisor for an expo and her husband (which I saw once a picture) stand#up. and she starts screaming something about “something sweet coming for women”…? I have no idea what that means. but all the women/girls#on the airplane stand up (they were all sleeping before) and start to crowd in front of me and i start to feel like we are going down. DOWN.#and we were in fact. going down. crashing. and I was scared as hell so while everyone was laughing/celebrating (???) I was screaming of#horror. but just before we crash I wake up and I’m in my bed (but I know I’m still dreaming. because it’s like a slow downloading of the#image). I wake up and I decided I’m late for school (which i don’t have) and I get ready quickly and I march in full force to the bus statio#then I realize there is no school and I’m outside at 5am. I found a supermarket cart and idk why but I take it with me and only when I get#home I realize that the supermarket is nowhere close to my house (like irl) and now I have a freacking shipping cart and I decided to park#it in my garage#and then my mom woke me up as my alarm for 7am went off.#I feel like by brain has been fucked. In queer ships I just ALWAYS get attached more with the repressed ones who want to be loved SO BAD and love SO HARD but are so scared and often lash out. Like my fave pair of every queer ship on god.
1) HENRY from rwrb. Thats my son on god. My child whom i would die for. Biggest heart. Loves so god damn hard. Its so scared of not having his love returned. His mom failed him so bad for so long and he still loved her to pieces like thats crazy biggest heart ever.
2) CATRA. Like Catra could have killed Bow and Glimmer and im sO SORRY but i would have still supported my girl im SORRY ik i shouldnt but I genuinely loved her BAD. No one could ever make me hate her sorry
3) BAZ. Like Baz never did anything bad ever bc he is an angel baby but regardless he could hypothetically do anything ever and you best believe i will be there supporting him!!!!!
4) EDDIE from It. That character is my child like my other half y’all don’t understand that 40 year old repressed little gay is my absolute CHILD and i would kill for him. He constantly lashes out but tbh he is also the sweetest pie. He wants to be loved so bad pls i could make a thesis on how he only found peace through dying and never got to finish what he wanted to say to Richie. Stephen King i am in your walls i will avenge him.
Edit: 5) ALEC LIGHTWOOD IM SO SORRY I FORGOT ABOUT YOU MY KING. He was so scared to love and was so cold and once he had the option he loved so fiercely??? Like is crazy. Changed the world just for his love like insane.

#The Poisons We Drink#aroaessidhe 2023 reads#this is…….a lot of cool ideas but also so many elements and high stakes that i kinda lost track of them#the pacing is weird. the worldbuilding is random?#why is brewing SO overpowered & risky for her but the other powers seem to have pretty normal low-scale risks?#it’s definitely ambitious and has some cool ideas and also some great characters just. didn’t execute as well as I’d like#as much as we’re told the main threat is the government trying to put through a Registration Act#most of the actual antagonism we see is from other Witchers?#like the systemic discrimination got a bit lost in the witcher family drama and murder politics#important things to say about oppression and police violence but like....idk#she has this ‘deviation’- essentially evil sentient magic inside her head (and you KNOW I love that trope)#but it’s barely explained and very underutilised? other than helping her get out of bad situations you could take it out & would barely#change anything#also it’s explained at the start that she’s an empath but other than the very occasional mention I kept forgetting#will also note that I bumped this up my tbr because I saw the author talking/promoting it as the MCs sister being aroace but no mention#maybe it’ll come up in a sequel (there weren’t really any places where it would have made sense to bring it up here) but idk#(just the way the author was asking for advice on how to write an ace character and stuff you’d assume that they’d….put that in the book?)#not really a critique of the book itself but anyway. I really wanted to like this but the way it was put together just did not vibe with me#edit: I saw the author say on twitter that the version used for ARCs was before ace stuff was added and that there's other signif changes?#so perhaps that will be there! i'm not sure if I want to read it again but might skim just to see what that's about
