Some days you want to work hard on your little fanfic epics, spending hours detangling the lore and timeline and plans for stories crying in the night for an update, and some days you're sick off your rocker and just hacking a lung out while haze-blinking into the horizon as you halt reading someone else's fic summary mid-first sentence to hard left turn into a very blurry but detailed daydream about the dwarves thinking Bilbo died in the Battle of the Five Armies while Bilbo--unaware of a king and his company upending their own mountain in a fit of grief as he heals among the Men or Elves--ends up in an awkward Race to Mordor with a Sauron he is barely aware of alongside his own ironic Nine, made up of himself, Gandalf, Bard, Legolas, Tauriel, and a trio of dwarves (Dís, Gimli, Gimli's mom) plus an unexpected favorite cousin (Falco Chubb-Baggins) who all broke off from the first convoy of Blue Mountain immigrants to Erebor to go along and protect Bilbo.

Place bets now on how Thorin & Company hear of their burglar's survival and latest insanity (highest bids placed on the remaining Blue Mountain travelers passing along word vs a smarmy message from Thranduil), how quickly they shake off their shrouds of mourning and royal pseudo-widowhood, and where exactly on the path between Erebor and Mount Doom they manage to catch up to and dog pile an unwitting Hobbit.

All this Ferrari drama is stressing me out. But more so than the rumours is the way people on here and on twitter react to them.

People are celebrating as if firing Binotto is going to give us both Championships next year. While we know it won't. I swear people don't learn. A team that has had 5TP in 9 years should know that the solution to the problems is not getting a new one. It didn't work the previous times, it won't work now.

If they don't go to the root of the problem and start doing things properly it will be in vain again, and we will have another season, possibly two, without having nothing to celebrate.

The way people have been talking about Ferrari this entire year is so. Head in my hands, pulling my hair, cackling maniacally etc etc etc.

People genuinely believing that Ferrari lost the championship purely out of strategy mistakes and pretending they were perfect on every other aspect. Completely ignoring the way we were slacking on every single aspect - car pace, too little upgrades, mistakes in the pit, mistakes by the drivers, reliabilty... - and still managing to secure p2 in both championships even tho they stopped developing the cars ever since the summer break, when ever since 2020 everyone wished for them to pull a McLaren and never come back from the midfield...... yeah it has been something. Lol. Lmao even.

Absolutely not saying they have been doing a stellar job or whatever. Losing is losing, even tho no one (outside of the ferraristi ofc) put 2 cents on Ferrari actually coming back to win races. But to brush off the big step they made performance wise, only focusing on their fuck ups (and turning a blind eye when the other big teams fuck up the same way or even worse) is just willful ignorance at this point, and betrays a biased perspective.

For once I'm even agreeing with Alesi, and how he reminded how fucking long had Todt to wait before winning a championship. The famous guy who's in the mouth of every person on here that only knows about the Schumacher era through photo edits. Not remembering that he had to wait for his 5th year at Ferrari to win a championship with them. (Wonder why no one talked about that Alesi moment? Oh. I guess I know why.)

And finally, the idea of first saying "we are going to win at least a championship before 2026" and the next day (allegedly) sacking the team principal and hoping to magically fix something with that genius move? Same guy who, critically, is also the head of the engineering project? And getting Vasseur to replace him, of all people? You just have to laugh. Day 20 - Nameless

Bilbo's second year in Erebor was full of all sorts of learning. The first year was - with Thorin trapped in his uneasy sickbed and all the reconstruction of basic functions - what Bilbo had been raised to describe as "a wash" and what the more earthy members of the Shire would refer to as "shite too hot to grow aught". A memory of Gaffer Chubb was curling his lips as he passed through the Upper Market. His thoughts were interrupted by a small pebble, who held a... something... out to him with both hands.

"For you," the child squeaked, with mum bowing behind. Good Lady of Trees, the poor thing was shaking! Using his new knowledge and hoping he was reading the signs right, Bilbo accepted the strange bundle of dark felted cloth and smiled.

"Why thank you, young sir," he said, praying again that his understanding of dwarven gendered dress was correct. Ah, and Mum's beams behind the boy indicated he was correct. "It's, er, lovely."

"Happy Feast to you, Lord," the mum said, corralling up her child with ease of long practice. "Wouldn't rest but he'd made you one." She smiled down at the boy fondly, and then - with the abruptness Bilbo had come to realize wasn't meant to be rude at all, but was just the dwarven way - nodded once and off they strode.

"You are both too kind," Bilbo called after them with a slightly bewildered smile. A flip of a hand indicated he'd been heard, and then they were gone. Eyeing the odd object he sighed and put it in the basket. All the dwarves thought him mad to do his own shopping but he had to get out of the royal halls occasionally or go mad. When he got back, he'd ask Thorin what the thing was.

Thorin turned the odd, irregular thing over in his hands. What looked like legs of felt stuck out in odd directions, and odd floppy bits that could be anything. Shiny bits of glass slag made eyes, but they were stuck on wherever and with no rhyme nor reason. Bilbo thought it a bit disturbing, to be honest, though Thorin had a wistful smile. "What, er, what is it?" The hobbit asked, having explained the story of its origin to his husband.

"A binakhrâm," he replied, as though that explained anything. "A Nameless Thing. There's a story behind it, though I'm no scribe. Long ago when the world was young and the moon unstained, one of the deep-down Scouts in Gabilgathol took one of the Nameless Things that occasionally pass in the deepest places as a pet, or perhaps it took him as one. They worked together for many years, and those who saw it said that it had no symmetry nor shape save that which hurt the eye, and yet it guarded him fiercely and loved him as best it could." He set the cloth toy down and stroked it with a gentle fingertip. "It did not like the other dwarves, and would rarely come into the places where it might be seen by others, but it was honored by the whole of the Broadbeam clan for its devotion. It returned to the deeps when he died, taking his body with it, and those who saw it said the sorrow of the Nameless haunted them for the rest of their lives." He sighed, glancing up at Bilbo. "These toys are given and made for the Deepwinter Feast. They are a sign of devotion found in unexpected places, and enduring support." His soft smile was ruinously handsome. "All here know and love the Consort, and his efforts on our behalf."

Bilbo could feel himself flushing; he hadn't recognized the compliment but now it was being rather... well. "That's... terribly kind," he said weakly. "And a lovely story." He hoped his life with Thorin wouldn't be commemorated with small stuffed felt hobbits, but being enwrapped in a set of dwarven arms was sufficient distraction that the thought was allowed to fade.

So. I started reading The Rangers Apprentice last night, and I only got up to chapter six i think (Will's just arrived at Halt's cottage for his first day of training and Halt remarks that at least he's on time and already had breakfast). And. I'm in love. Im buying the first three books today.

Anyways, assorted thoughts.

I really like the dynamic all of the wards have with each other. Like yeah these are kids who grew up together and love and get on each other's nerves in equal measure.

Will and Alyss being the only two who don't remember their parents is both heartbreaking and makes perfect sense in a weird way? I don't really know how to explain it but it just fits.

It also makes them confiding in each other about what craft their aiming for that much more impactful.

But it's also infinitely funnier to me that Alyss didn't look up. They've known each other their entire lives, literally, and she didn't. Look. Up. Comedy gold.

I just about cried at Will's reasoning for battleschool.

For whatever reason, Martin reminds me of a rat. I want to hit him with a frying pan. He's delightful.

I loved all the Craftmasters. Yeah their personalities and descriptions aren't groundbreaking or anything but they still seem neat.

Chubb's wooden ladle.

Jenny and Chubb's entire interaction. Him hitting her on the head. so great.

Will being able to feel Halt's eyes on him is so good. Like yeah! He's a natural! (I hope he falls on a face a few times while training but I love the detail that he was chosen because of his potential, not because he'll be perfect out the gait, and I like that his potential as a ranger is in obvious to him.

Will's pranks and mischief is so good. I love that detail. And the bunnies oh my gosh. I was laughing with Lady Pauline.

The second that paper was mentioned in knew what Will was going to do.

I did however think that the paper would be blank.

Will just causally doing. All of That. to get up the tower. Holy shit. Horrifying. scaling the wall especially.

I hope someone told the guard on duty what was happening right above his head i think his reaction would be funny.

My heart stopped when Halt grabbed Wills hand. Like I could tell it was coming there was no way he wasn't getting caught but i was still startled for some reason.

I hope nobody told the guards outside Baron Arald's office anything about what happened that night. Let them be confused.

Baron Arald is the funniest character so far and nobody laughs. "This time, use the stairs." Hilarious! that was so funny. poor guy is taken way to seriously i love him.

I really like the pacing so far. just something ive noticed. I takes it's time and lingers on certain scenes where other books would jump ahead. I like it.

I think ive forgotten how much i love this part of a story. it's the beginning. Ive just met the characters. I've got no idea what happens next. The plot hasn't really kicked off. The big bad is just in the distance. It's nice. It's relaxing. I love it.

Phil Eggtree: The Phil Eggtree we all know and love, however the guilt and stress of his dream murdering and double abduction have been haunting him.

Phred Whistler: His a little worn and worse for wear, but ever since seeing Phil save the world he's been inspired to live life to the fullest instead of just letting life take him wherever. He's far more motivated than his younger self

Smiley Sundae: With increased pressure with her studies, Smiley's trademark Smile has faded slightly over the years. Her underlying but constant struggle in academic fields has made her question her path for the future, but she'll still lighten up anyone's day with that heart of gold

Zack Kelvin: Despite still learning to deal with his peculiar temperature issues, especially with puberty taking a toll on it, He's definitely become more social after having the opportunity to express himself more without freezing to death. But still lacks crucial social cues. His friends are still helping him with that.

Richy Stud: This pushover has joined the main gang and have been a part of it for a while, serving as the social bridge between the core 4 and the B team of the Riddle Elementary kids he doesn't know them quite as well but still serves as a friendly face. And yes, he collects buttons

Chubb Munch: A gentle giant with a heart of gold. He'll always be a bigger guy comapred to most people, and frankly it never bothered him anyway. But since he vowed to work on his diet his life has never been better

5 08: A little arrogant, but with how charismatic he is it's hard to blame him. His shirt sales have been steady and it serves as more of a hobby than anything else. On good terms with Richy and Phil specifically. He considers Phil his best customer.

Greg Sleep: He's always been a bit distant from his friends, but in all fairness, he's asleep 90% of the time. He remains a bit of an enigma

Joe Kerosene: With his history with the Riddle gang being a rocky middle school life, Joe's not exactly friendly with many of the people he grew up with. He and Phil don't get along at all. Phil considers him an idiot and Joe considers him a snarky prick. He's found company with other people, but he may have bit off more than he can chew

OCs:

Null Rooster-Lea: One of Joe's new 'friends' he's distant, and never seen without a scowl on his face. He's cold, and its better not to cross him

Rodrigo Cwesschyn: Another one of Joe's new friends. He's the son of ex elementary principle Mr. Cwesschyn. Ever since his father has been imprisoned for injuring students, Rodrigo has had to become the man of the house for his mother and siblings. He blames the students that attended Riddle Elementary for his unsteady life.

Cassie Pants: Another part of Joe's group, she's bratty and enjoys messing with people she's directed towards, but she doesn't hold any ill will unlike her friends. She's just a pest, not evil.

Franky Pants: The older brother of Cassie, he isn't interested in the antics and rivalries her little sister gets up to, that's her life to lead. He's pretty friendly, but remains neutral to our protagonists. He just wished his sister made some nicer friends

Kath Penilian : A university student, far removed from the happenings at Riddle High, She's good friends with Richy, meeting over the niche hobby of button collecting. She serves as a friendly, older friend of the Riddle gang, being able to offer an ear to listen and a bit of wisdom.

I jolt awake from a nightmare ans automatically start crying for my mommy. I soon remember that mommy is away on a mission. I want mommy so much. I hope mommy isn't dead, because she died in my dream and I couldn't live without my mommy. I continue to cry regardless if my mommy isn't here. The dream was so scary especially when it's about losing mommy. I curl up in a little ball and hug my stuffed bear Mr. Chubbs and sob into him. When someone bursts into the room. "Princess" She asks worriedly.

Nat's Pov

I'm currently on the quinn jet going home to the tower. I'm so excited to see my little one. I can't wait to have her in my arms again. I know she's safe in the tower but I know that Y/N is safer in my arms. The quinn jet lands and I'm the first one out. I head into the common room and say hi to everyone. I see everyone except Y/N. "Guys where's Y/N" I ask. "She's in her room" Steve replies. I nod and get into the elevator. "Miss Romanoff, miss L/N appears to be is distress" Friday informs me. I start to panic and I run straight to our shared room. "Princess" I ask worriedly.

Y/N's Pov

I look up and it's mommy! I get up and run to her instantly wrapping my arms around her and sobbing into her chest. "Aw honey. What's wrong" she asks. "I had dad dweam chu were dead" I say sobbing harder. "Oh baby my sweet girl. It's only a dream. I'm right her hun" She says soothingly. She shuts the door and strips her suit and picks me up and carries me to the bed. She holds me in the fetal position and rocks me back and forth. "Shhh honey mommy's got you baby. I'm right here" She cooed. After A while my crying softens. My mommy brushes my hair out of my face and smiles warmly at me. "you okay bunny" mommy asks. I nod . She smiles and kisses my nose which makes me giggle. "How about some cuddles" She asks and I nod instantly.

Nat's Pov

I lean back into the bed and set my baby on top of me with her head on my chest. "Comfy baby"I ask and she nods. "Yes mommy" she answers. I sing and stroke her back so she falls asleep. When I see that she's asleep I soon fall asleep with my little one in my arms. All safe and sound.

In the wide halls of the estate where the 2nd Harbinger stayed, giggles can be heard echoing through it.

"You little annoyance! Pilin get over here!"

A segment of dottore's, Eon was chasing the child of Prime and his wife through out the maze of halls. He was holding her pants in his hands, that was susposed to be put on after taking her a bath . Well that backfired, and here they are. Bumping to some maids or employees here and there, Eon was amazed on how she had this much energy...

She was giggling to herself while also looking back at Eon at time to time, making sure he doesnt catch up to her. He was getting exhausted, feels like he ran a whole marathon. His speed was slowing down bit by bit, she turned around and noticed this.

"Hehe!!~ Yor suawch a slowww poke!!" she giggled, instinctively closing her eyes. Not aware of her surroundings, she bumped into a person. At first she thought it was another of her dads employee, clearing her vision she saw only a pair of legs (shortass).. rubbing her eyes, she tried to stood up and see who it was.

"I'm sorry I-"

She was dead. DEAD. It was the last person she would bump to in this situation..

"Miss Pilin (Y/Ln), what on teyvat are you doing."

"Mother! I can expla-"

She was cutted by Eon finally catch her. He lifted her up, making her face to him. "Hmph, I still dont know where she got this energy from." He sideseye the mother of the child thats beside him. She chuckled from his comment. She gently took the girl from his hands to her own. "Thank you Eon, i'll take everything from here" Eon handed her Pilin's pants. Feeling grumpy he looks away and crossed his arms "I expected a reward from running around the palace while also dealing with that annoyance" She looked at him with a smirk and raised her eyebrow knowing what his intention was. Deciding wether she should toy with him this time. "Was gonna give you a kiss but it seems you wanted something else *insert dramatic sigh* I guess I don't have anything much more to offer-" Eon looked at her with wide eyes and wanted to say something but stopped, not wanting to sound desperate.

"I'm just joking! thank you for everything" She kisses him in the cheek, Pilin in her hands made a puke noise but he didnt seem to mind her. She chubb his cheeks "Don't tell prime about this, but I love you" -----------

imma be honest im not the biggest fan of chubb munch becuz of how hes treated in the games and also how hes designed. so heres a redesign where he's just a regular fat adolescent boy and not a literal roadblock.

i have always been a fan of mrs. munch tho ily fat old women sm omg big fan <3333333

mr. munch is also NOT gonna be included in the munch family becuz idc and i dont trust him to be near children so mrs. munch divorced him pre middle-school era of my riddle school story timeline and is now single and taking care of her grandson Charles "Chubb" Munch all by herself yay

i imagine chubbs to just this really friendly guy who likes to make you laugh and just has really slow metabolism. Him and Joe being friends is mainly spawned from thinking abt how they'd be outcasts in this american school and they decided to stick together to be stronger.

I'm finally reading the first book in "The Darkest Minds" series after finally watching the movie while I was catching up on Harris Dickinson's filmography and OMG was he perfectly cast as Liam!!! 😀 He looks like how the book described him and he played him so well. But what's really cool is with the books going so much in more detail Liam's weirdly a lot like Harris' other characters. First off he's Southern like David Von Erich from "The Iron Claw" and Chase from "Where the Crawdads Sing" so he should've spoken like them too (and we know Harris is great with those accents). But then again like David he's got that charm about him, is blonde haired/blue eyed, lost his siblings and parents, takes on Zu as a little sister/daughter (similar to Jason in "Scrapper" too LOL) and Chubbs as a brother, loves classic rock, and is more powerful than people realize and becomes a leader. Then there's Bill from "A Murder at the End of the World" in here too with the road trips, him being the driver, singing along to the radio, how he falls for Ruby and loves her deeply. Makes me sad they never adapted the other books, but we do have 4 books and a lot of short stories in this series and it's so easy to picture Harris as Liam.
