China and Singapore recently conducted the "China-Singapore Exercise Cooperation 2024" Joint Army Training in the Hennan Province in China recently. This is the sixth "Exercise Cooperation" Series between the two Armies.

The Exercise will focus on Joint Counter Terrorism Operations in Complex Environments to strengthen the Joint Command, Coordination and Unified Actions between the two Militaries. Activities will include Live-Fire Shooting and Drills, among others.

Both Sides agreed to deepen Traditional Friendships, Mutual Learning and Military Mutual Trusts, and also further develop Military to Military Relations.

Note that Singapore is the only Country in South East Asia (SEA) that operates the Made in the United States (US) F-15 Eagle Fighter Aircraft, with other Countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam choosing the Russian-made Su-30 instead, and yet Singapore still keeps very close Military Ties also with China.

Summer is Fun

Last summer was the most awaited for me. I was so excited because we have our Balik- bayan relatives like my aunts, uncles and my first cousins from the US and Canada. Before they arrived here ,we already planned for a week-long vacay to Boracay.

I was too excited but nervous because I heard about a plane ticket, that was my first time on an airplane ,haha! Our flight finally came ,It was a different experience.

It was quite a long travel from terminal 3 to Caticlan airport then in a big tricycle then ferry boat before we reached Boracay! It was an awesome experience to have a lunch at the Hennan Regency ,the food was very yummy . I love it there . The parasailing, banana boat, paddle board and kayak rides are awesome!

This is my cool travel.

Significant Beauty of Bora

Last February 2022 I had the chance to spend several days at Discovery Shores Boracay with a group of my family. I figured it’d be a great time to take a vacation I’m no fan of stressing out, since the way I go about my school works gives me a fair amount of flexibility anyway. I’d heard some pretty good things about where we would be staying. when on our way to airport we ride a taxi and we checked in out baggage and wait till out boarding anounced. When our boarding announced we get ready and ride a bus to go to plane and we ride. Boracay bound, we took a 45-minute flight out of Manila and landed at Kalibo Aklan, then we took a 2-hour bus ride to get to Caticlan, for a 7-minute boat ride to the island itself. On landing at the beach, we were greeted at the port by clear waters, white sand, a variety of boats, and as one might expect from an island paradise large billboards and a concrete parking lot. From there, we took one last van ride to arrive at our destination, which took us 20 minutes, having us wind through very Makati esque thorough fares congested and overcrowded. I expected a bit of runaway development, but I didn’t think it would be to that degree. Like other resorts on the island, we checked in hennan hotel, with its accommodations set toward the rear, naturally encouraging guests toward their beachfront facilities for their day to day. We pulled in from the roads from the inside of the island toward where the rear of the resort is we were greeted at a pickup-point by friendly staff and cold beverages, briefed, and were subsequently guided through and toward the front desk to get settled in. Foodwise, there’s a lot of your standard Filipino fare, plated and presented in some rather charming ways, along with a selection of international dishes and menu items to round off their offerings. Most everything we had tasted really good, apart from a few dishes that were a bit too salty for our tastes designed to be had with rice maybe and the near flavorless fried chicken if you need to slather something in ketchup or any condiment to make it taste good, there’s something wrong with that dish. I’m personally a fan of their burgers and sandwiches very good stuff. We have a activity and explore the boracay island like when they went kayaking and island hopping but I did plenty. All in all, I had a good time in boracay. it's time to go home and i think we should return in boracay island.
