finished the oniisama e anime, it was wonderful. my favourite part was when mariko confessed her love to kaoru, then they got married in the timeskip and lived their butchfemme dreams together. such a beautiful end to an awesome show

like rei's brooding cringe fail nature has done it's work on me but she's not even the most interesting character to me rn cause literally what the fuck is going on with fukiko. what is going on. why are you doing all of that.

i still cant believe how oniisama e ended, and i don't mean #what happened to rei but how the series lowkey turned into a heteronormative show? denying the love between the girls? like what do you mean fukiko was obsessed with a man all along, and said man turned out to marry THEE kaoru no kimi 😭 they even hinted mariko having feelings towards that guy ichinomiya... and nanako having a boyfriend? somebody free her.

i feel like it's an insult... "girls are crazy and would even kiss each other because of puberty but don't worry it's just a phase they will go back to boys in no time"... that's the kind of message i got from it and it's so insulting.
