honestly considering how last episode went i feel like it could be possible that one of the two of them realize their feelings in the finale and that becomes a major storyline for next season. like all season buck has been talking nonstop about eddie and his entire sexuality arc and the buck x tommy stuff has been basically haunted by eddie. i thought i was losing it or something fr because i went back and rewatched and literally EVERY. SCENE. BUCK AND TOMMY HAVE EDDIE IS EITHER THERE OR MENTIONED. THEIR FIRST KISS SCENE I COUNTED THAT BUCK SAYS EDDIES NAME EIGHT FUCKING TIMES. tommy even said “my attention?” like he was shocked and thought it was about eddie 😭 and maddie saying “you seem confused and if you have anything you need to tell eddie you will when you’re ready” felt SO pointed too. idk if they’ll do a full blown triangle with them but i do think a potential breakup with buck and tommy will be about eddie tbh. they made such a point to put eddie in the narrative when they really didn’t have to. im trying so hard not to get my hopes up but when the dots make a clear picture you cant help but connect them

also this sounds so crazy but the shannon clone has a birthmark in her hair. the white stripe? its the most noticeable in the boat scene but once i saw it i was like 😀 hey why did they do that. one of my friends back in high school had one. and then making buck meet her……. and then EDDIE only comes clean once BUCK lightly asks him about it and says hes worried……….. i feel like im that one meme from its ways sunny in philedelphia

also im fully convinced bobby isnt retiring and he’ll be fine and have some sort of wakeup call idc im in denial

i would actually lose my mind if it happened in the finale asdfghjkl. i'm also trying not to get my hopes up (i've been burned so many times 😭) but i could totally see buck telling tommy about the whole doppelgänger wife thing and talking about how concerned he is for eddie and tommy being the one to realize "this doesn't sound platonic" and points it out to buck. tommy's whole role has been for buck to discover things about himself and i would love if tommy helped him realize he has feelings for eddie. i honestly think buck and tommy are really cute together but they just don't have the chemistry buck and eddie have and i just think it would be neat if tommy's the first one (besides maddie lbr) to notice it and bow out gracefully. that's just the kind of guy he is 🥺

I already talked a bit about Denny last night but here's some more chaotic thoughts that I'm not even sure make sense lol

lying to your moms and then having them find out while you get to the hospital after an accident (and he was sooo lucky nothing happened to him my god, they wouldn't even know), right after giving them a scare because they had no idea where he was?

this whole situation must be so scary for Karen and Hen and to find out like that probably makes it even more stressful and worrying fr

like, aside from the dad thing (because that's on Nathaniel for not telling them, Denny's just a kid, but I'm glad Nathaniel took accountability and apologized for it in the end) it's also so scary in any situation when a kid lies to you about anything, including about their whereabouts, and if god forbid something happened (which it almost did)... and you start to lose trust because what else are they not telling you?

like, Denny's a kid who didn't know better, and it's very in line with his age tbh, but like, skipping the bus and driving with basically a stranger, even if they are related? so irresponsible and fucking terrifying, because it'd be so hard to get that trust back fr

I just feel so bad for both him and Henren, this is just such an awful situation

I love that Toni got involved and she said only the right things and I loved her talk with Denny and then with Hen and Karen

REVIEW

I loved this episode! I thought it was super fun :D, but it also has a bunch of drama :O. It was good drama though :). Buck's storyline was just hilarious the whole time XD, Maddie's was o.o, and Hen's was :OO!! XD And also a bit of o.o lol. And Bobby and Athena's was cute 🥰. Anyway, I loved all the storylines! I thought they were great :). Plus, the calls were interesting :D! I'm also glad they weren't too tragic lol.

Also, fair warning everything after "drama though :)" was written today - day of the next episode xd. Yes, again, I know, but that means that this will probably be shorter - I have the free time during rehearsal today, I just don't remember all the details lol. Anyway! Continuing :).

Now for the individual parts!

Chim! We didn't see too much of him, but what he did was great :D. Maddie was mostly central to their storyline, but Chimney was there too and he was great :). I love him 🥰. And I'm glad everything worked out lol xd. Also, he was great at his job :D.

Athena and Bobby! Their running thing was so cute :D. I love these idiots so much lol 🥰🥰. And they were both great at their jobs :D. I'm not sure we saw Athena, but I'm sure she was. Anyway, we didn't see them too much this episode, but they were both great :). Also the dinner scene with Madney was great :D.

Maddie! She SLAYED :D. I'm so glad they figured out what was happening with that lady. Also even if she wasn't running a scam and using them for it, it would just be weird to walk into somebody's house like that xd. Anyway, luckily they caught her >:). Maddie was amazing 🥰🥰. I love her so much :D. And, since this wasn't quite her job, I'm sure she did great at that too :).

Buck and Eddie! Buck's powers were so hilarious XD. Also the fact that, of the examples we saw, he used them almost exclusively to help Eddie and Chris xD. I'm sure it won't last, but it was hilarious lol. And the POKER SCENE XDD. Don't even get me started lol. Plus the math homework, and the bets XD. It was just fun all around :). Too bad he's been banned from poker though lol. Although maybe he can go again when he's not super good at math XD. Who knows if he'd be any good, but still lol. Anyway, he was great lol. I love him 🥰. And so was Eddie, of course. I love him :DD. And they were both great at their jobs! Also, of course: BUDDIEEEEE!!! THOSE BUDDIE MOMENTS!!!! AAHHHHH I SWEARRRR!! THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL US!!! XD Anyway, lovely <3.

Hen and Karen! OOF. This is where the real drama this episode came from xd. Maddie was dealing with that lady, but this plot was just o.o. I felt so bad for them all 😭😭. Also I'm glad that Hen's mom managed to bring them back together :DD. So glad she saw both sides 🥰. The argument(s) was/were tough (catching me over here screaming and sobbing xd), but we made it through :'). And I'm glad Denny gets to keep seeing his bio dad <33. And I am glad he's okay :). Hen finding out about it all in the hospital was crazy though xD. Also that last scene was a POWER MOVE!! Well not literally but my point is it slayed :)). The whole "our son, our rules" - idk, it just vibed :). Anyway, the emotions were real this episode 😭, but it ended up okay :). I'm sure we'll hear more about this in the future, though. Anyway, I love them :')). Hen was great at her job 🥰. And I'm sure Karen was as well lol.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode! I thought it was great :D. It had some great comedy moments, but also a bunch of drama o.o. It was a good balance! The main storylines were great 🥰, and the calls were cool too :))! I'm a bit nervous for next time o.o - it looks crazy lol. I am curious about the personal plotlines though - if I remember correctly we really only saw calls! Huh, interesting :D. But it appears to be the return of Ravi! I think I've heard that, but when I looked up the episodes I think I remember seeing him in the picture :). So, YAYY!!! Hopefully he is back :D. Anyway! This episode was great :). I'm glad everything worked out for the most part! Though I must say I'm curious to know how long Buck's math power will last xD. And of course, BUDDIEEEE!!! Always a win :D xD.

This episode was fine, but they should’ve focused more on Abby, I think they were trying to do a gentle perspective switch to be more in Bucks pov to really prepare us for her leaving, but i needed to see more of my queen to prepare for her leaving. She didn’t even say bye to Athena! Ig it was a fine conclusion for the first season tho, I’ll collect all my thoughts on this season later after I finish mourning

A fire xDD but I get that they're ent more with the crash theme lol - oh wait, back from putting the title at the end, I just remembered it's learn XDD Nevermind then, lol), but I'm sure whatever his face was, 9-1-1 dispatcher boy, will do great :)). He just has to get a little more experience first :D. I think he'll do great <3. Hopefully he's not evil lol.

Overall, I loved the episode. The calls were fun, though a bit sad at times Hen's storyline was amazing, as was Athena's side. Ayy, our besties have an episode :D. Kind of together, but also super far apart lol. Also, poor Buck, honestly. Man is struggling lol. But yeah, I really connected with Hen here so I just feel extra bad for her <3. Anyway, it was a great episode. This season's shaping up to be really good :).
