Seungmin kept repeating those words in his mind, desperately trying to ignore all the harmful thoughts that kept on tormenting his mind. He has seen these comments a million times, how come they still hurt him?

He flipped onto the other side of the bed, now facing the blank wall. He wished he could just dissapear into it. Seungmin closed his eyes in hopes of never oppening them again…

“Omg helppp your teeth are still crooked after braces?”

“Am i the only one who thinks his smile ugly af…”

“Aint no way he thinks hes cute”

“Just close your mouth please, youre so ugly and annoying”

They didn’t go away even in his dreams. The poor boy shook his head side to side in his sleep, trying to shake those thoughts away. He suddenly woke up, covered in sweat. Thank God it was just a nightmare. Except it wasn’t. People really said that to him without any shame.

The puppy pressed his hand againts his forehead. He felt sick. So sick and tired. Nonetheless, he knew he wouldn’t fall back asleep. So, he grabbed his phone from the nighstand and turned it on, checking the current time.

6:23 am

He groaned in dissapointment. He had at least an hour or two before having to wake up. But, of course, he would simply waste the precious time staring at the blank ceiling. Dissapearing into it wouldn’t be so bad either.

In about an hour (which felt like 37 days to Seungmin) Minho woke up. He lazily walked down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the kids. He wasn’t called the mom of the group for nothing. Seungmin heard his every step. Minho was so strong compared to him. And so much more beutiful. He covered his eyes, squeezing them tightly. But nothing came out.

Soon enough, Seungmin heard Felix strolling to the kitchen aswell. He has lived with long enough to recognise their footsteps. Well, if the sunshine boy was awake, he should get out of bed too. Unfortunetly.

Seungmin slowly got out of bed, forcefully taking his tired body to the bathroom. After finishing up, he walked back to his bedroom to get dressed.

The pup felt like shit, but the smell of delicious food was basically forcing him out of his room. After slumping his body down and kicking around childlishly one last time, he finally got up and made his way to the source of the amazing scent.

He was soon met with the gaze of Minho, Felix and Jeongin, which was surprising because hadn’t heard the maknaes footsteps.

“Morning, Minnie” Minho greeted from his spot at the stove “Good morning, hyung” Seungmin tried his best to not sound grumpy and sad, but he knew he could not pretend to be someone else around his bandmates - they knew him far too well for that.

Not even a minute after the second youngest of he group walked close enough for them to see his face, they knew something was wrong. The rest of the members could always tell what his mood was like just by the way he walked, talked. Hell, even breathed.

“I can’t be only one who thinks that Seungmin is… off” Felix whispered into Jeongins ear “Uhm, that was exactly what I thought, he seems upset about something” the maknae agreed “We should ask Minho about it, I wonder what he thinks…” Felix pondered, walking to said man.

“Hyung, I’m sure that you’ve noticed Seungmin’s strange mood by now. What do you think it is?” the cat man turned his head towards his dongsaeng “I know what it is. I’ll tell you after breakfast. Don’t wanna spoil anything, but I have a plan…”

Felix was satisfied with his answer, updating Jeongin on the exciting news that he had just gotten from the eldest in the room. Both of them started brainstorming in their thoughts about what could the plan be.

Right after breakfast, Seungmin basically ran to his room, not even thanking for the food. However, Lee Know wasn’t bothered, he knew that he could properly punish the younger later…

“Right, and bring the rest of the kids with you, alright?” the second oldest said as he finished his call with Chan “Well?” the sunshine impatiently asked “He said he’ll be here any time now. I made he sure he would bring Han, Changbin and Hyunjin too” “Yay! This is the best plan that you have ever made, Minho hyung!” the fox happily showed his dimply smile after hearing the long awaited news.

You have probably already guessed the plan of the mischevious bunny, but let me tell you anyway:

1. See if Seungmin was actually hurt by the comments.

2. Call everyone over.

3. Tickle the sadness out of him!

Sounds like the best plan ever, right? Well, maybe a bit too simple, but that’s all it took, really.

The first two steps had been completed. They were only one step away from success!

Luckily, Minho knew very well how to complete the remaining step. It was much easier than you might think.

“Your plan is so stupid though, we’re gonna need at least another 37 step plan just to tickle Seungmin” Han rolled his eyes after hearing the amazing idea “No, Jisung, we’re going to convince him to let us wreck him!” Lee Know smiled “Are you serious?! That would require another 1000 steps!” Chan laughed.

To Minho’s advantage, the rest of the group agreed upon his amazing invention, so he won’t have to deal with more than two grumpy party poopers.

“You guys are not listening! We need to put Minnie in a lee mood!” the bunny proudly announced “What is that?” Changbin asked as the quokka started reddening up “Oh, I forgot that some of you are not aware… Well, a lee is someone that-“ Minho’s sentence was cut short by some very much aggressive coughing.

“Hannie, are you ok?” Chan asked with a very concerned look “Uhm *cough* I think I-I’m fine…” the all rounder was slighly relieved when he saw Jeongin and Felix blushing as well.

The leader of danceracha smirked and continued talking “Uhm, I think I’ll explain that later. Now let’s go, we have a mission to complete!” Everybody ran, screaming like a pack of children, pretending to be soldiers.

“MISSION TICKLE SEUNGMIN!” I.N. screamed as the him and the rest of the members barged into the victim’s room “Hyunjin, Han, grab his arms. Changbin, Innie, grab his legs. Felix, Chan and me will take care of the rest!” Minho instructed everyone like the professional he was.

Once everything was finally set up, was when Seungmin came to realization: he was completely inmobile and about to get wrecked. There was no way he was going to let this happen.

“Let go you bahastards! What have I done to deserve this?!” the second youngest started squirming around like crazy in an attempt to free himself.

“Nu-uh you’re not going anywhere!” Hyunjin said with a smile, securing his arms under his butt. Han did the same “Thihis is so unfair! I can’t even move!” the pup whined, trying to get his arms from under Hyunjin.

Felix and Chan took the initiative by poking the boys sides repetitively, making him giggle “Nohoho please~ Anythihing but this!” the lee hysterically giggled, still trying to get out of their grasp.

“Hmmmm, how about no!” Hyunjin happily smiled shoving five of his fingers into the yoonger’s vulnerable armpit “YAHAHAHAHA HYUHUHUHJIN DOHOHON’T!” “Oh you just set yourself up so good” Jeongin murmured in sympathy. Everyone quieted down. Seungmin was scared out of his mind “Hyung! Hyunjin hyung! Please, I-I didn’t mean it…” the pup tried to maneuver his way out of the situation, but it didn’t look like that was going to pay of…

“You’re in deep shit, Seungminnie…”

All seven of the members dug in without a warning “NOHOHOHOHOHO PLEHEHEHEASE! H-HYUHUHUHUHNG! ANYONE! PLEHEHEASE~~” Seungmin wildly cackled.

The scene looked rather… Interesting. Hyunjin and Han were having a hard time holding the pups hands down, yet both of them were roughly digging their fingers deep into the victim’s armpits. Minho was situated on his hips, trying to hold the younger’s midriff still by pushing his fingers into Minnies V-line(which was just making him squirm more). Chan and Felix were both attacking each one of Seungmin’s sides, switching in between his ribs and sides. Jeongin and Changbin were keeping themselves occupied by digging their fingers into their bandmate’s thighs, knees and occasionally scratching his soles.

The mean comments were the last thing on the tickle attack victim’s mind - he was much more busy trying to stay alive.

Obviuosly, Seungmin couldn’t handle so many rough tickles all over his body at the same time. The rest of the kids could feel that too. They all slowly stopped, but still didn’t let the poor boy go.

“Let’s play a game to make this interesting, Minnie” Minho fondly smiled looking down at his dongsaeng “P-Plehease no more…” Seungmin’s chest rose up and down restlessly, trying to pump his tired body with blood. Apparently it was doing that quite succesfully, considering the latter’s wine-red face, ears and neck. Not to mention that he still had tears running down his neck, wetting the collar of his shirt.

“Say, how many hyungs do you have?” Lee Know didn’t let up “I-Ihihi don’t know, 7?” “Is Seungmin our new maknae now~?” Jeongin teasingly asked “Nahaha I don’t know…” the “maknae” tiredly grumbled, almost falling asleep on the spot.

“Well, if he insists on having 7, then I don’t see why we should disagree with him!” the leader of danceracha smirked “What do you even mean, hyung?” Changbin whined from the end of the victim’s body “That is exacly how many raspberries he’ll get… From each one of us!” The bunny proudly announced.

Suddenly, Seungmin flinched awake. 7 raspberries?! From EACH one of them?! He is not making it out alive.

“WHAHAHT?! WHY! I don’t deserve this please~~~” “Oh yes you do, did you see how sad and grumpy you were this very morning?!” Felix frowned, poking the younger “Couldn’t even thank me for my amazing breakfast…” Minho mischeviously mentioned, leaving the pup wide eyed.

“Let’s start!” Chan exitedly declared, placing his lips onto the second younger’s side “One…” the kangaroo mumbled into the sensitive spot and blowing the ticklish air into the vulnerable spot “AHAHAHA CHAHANIE HYUHUHNG!!”.

Chan was only on the third raspberry and Seungmin was already dying, there was no way he was going to survive 49 raspberries…

“Mihihinho hyung, yOHOHOHOHUR BREHEHEAKFAST WAS AMAHAHAZING, CAN YOU PLEHEHEASE MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOHOHOHOR MEHEHE~!” the oldest member of vocalracha begged when Chan pressed his lips onto his side for the 4th time.

“Hmmmm… Ok, I’ll forgive just this one time… Only if you can endure raspberries from all sven of us, at the same time, without laughing.” Was he being serious? Migh aswell just say that they were going to kill him.

The pup took a deep breath in and waited in anticipation. Thankfully, he didn’t have to wait for long. But was he really thankful? I mean, Han and Hyunjin had their lips pressed against his neck, Chan and Felix were both ready to wreck both of his sides, Minho was smiling into his stomach and Changbin with Jeongin both had a strong grip on both of his legs. Both of them were ready to blow some ticklish air onto God knows which part of his leg.

Just a few second later, he could feel every. single. body part being destroyed. Some of them were cheating by using their fingers to tickle aswell, but he definetly couldn’t tell who those cheaters were.

“p-plehehease…” His laughter was so silent, that the members stopped after only one time “Wow, I honetly didn’t think he would make it!” Han praised the younger, petting his head. Seungmin was so tired and his brain was so fuzzy and empty, that he didn’t care nor hear anything.

“Hey, are you ok, Minnie?” Hyunjin softly asked, signaling the rest of the boy’s to climb of the latter.

No response.

“Seungminnie, are you alright?” Jeongin slighly shook his hyung.

Nothing.

“SEUNGMIN!?” Chan agressively shook the younger with worry in his eyes.

“Huh, w-what…” the poor, tired boy finally woke up, relieving all seven of his bandmates.

“Oh my GOSH SEUNGMIN DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU SCA-“ the eldest grabbed the puppie’s shoulders “Calm down Chan… He’s ok” “Are you?!” “Yeah, did we take it too far?!”

The lee was so overwhelmed and exhausted that it took him a few moments to catch up. Though once he did, he made sure to calm everyone down.

“It was fine, guys. I promise. I didn’t mind…”

One thing that he also noticed is…

He had completely forgotten why he was upset in the first place.

THAT BONUS SCENE OH MY GOD???? Thank you lots for @charliedrawsstuffig for granting us the chance to see it and love u lots for it!!

Anyway I have SO much to say???? So spoilers I guess??

First of all, TWIN CENTRIC is something I’d never thought I’d see ever since I’ve long abandoned the idea of ever getting their own book. I’m still pretty sad about that but a whole chapter focused on them is more than what I could have expected so I’m not so upset anymore!!

I think it was so cool to see how the twins bantered with one another without the Magic Misfits around. Like they bantered exactly like I’d imagine them to and their little snark towards one another is so so sooo entertaining to read! I especially loved how they’re kinda sassy with one another and are just so silly and fun!! It’s exactly how I’d imagine them :3

Also this was killing me HELPPP

They’re so ridiculous but they’re my favourite siblings ever so seeing them with their own actual chapter was so good to see! I loved the fact that this chapter is basically a snippet where they found B.Bosso’s secret box cause I always thought that when they mentioned they had their own box from a treasure seek event it would be like a background mention or some old event that happened at the resort, not an actual chapter focused on it?!

I just found that SO cool cause it’s like those kind of stories where they actually give you a scene to something background that happened in the main series like ahhhhh.

ALSO THIS IS WILDDDD cause apparently we got to see Dean with sinister intentions already in the SECOND book instead of the fourth.

Makes it sorta interesting to think about how reading the bonus scene first would have changed our perception because I read all the main books first before I knew this bonus scene existed so I read it knowing Dean had deliberately planted them the clues cause he had bad intentions and was Kincaid and whatever, but if I had read the bonus scene in book two FIRST, that would have changed literally EVERYTHING???? The reveal that Dean was Kincaid would still be shocking but him being like an antagonist and on Kilroy’s side wouldn’t be so surprising and we would have been suspicious of him from the start…

Also the twins are so adorable and clever in their own way :33 I love how they discovered the clues and just went around the resort looking. That small scene where they performed for the people at the spa was great and I love how we got to see the twins have silly silly talks like no words can fully describe how excited I am or how my heart is literally AHHHHH.

I LOVE THIS SCENE SM ITS LIKE THEYRE REASSURING THEMSELVES CONFIDENTLY AWWW.

Yes they’re actually plenty clever cause even though they joke a lot and aren’t serious sometimes they’re also one of the most observant in the group? I mean there’s been MANY instances in book four and others where the twins would discover or notice something first and it’s just ughhh they’re so underrated you have no idea how much we need this chapter.

Also its SUCH a relief to finally have an official chapter for me to rely on whenever I want to write the twins cause now we have 👏🏽canonically👏🏽accurate👏🏽portrayals for themselves and its so so sooooo good and everything I pictured.

I love Izzy’s characterisation so much here like it’s so fun to watch how her and Olly literally just add on to each others comments and so on and its so aoshakhsjashjaha ahhhhh. Also Dean is so odd here and knowing the context I don’t trust him around the kids grr.

Also but appreciation to how amazing like the chapter is cause it even has little sections for us to decipher ahhhhh

Anyway mwah mwah fave chapter now! Adding on to reasons why Book 2 is the best and my favourite for REAL.

in your free time as a hobby and a job as the “head manager” (that Akashi announced to the team himself), you’d often bury yourself in anatomy studies and gym plans on the internet and databases to review over Akashi’s team training routines to see if they were effective and safe; oftentimes, you’d return back with improved plans, and as time went on, Akashi entrusted you with creating the plans yourself completely

you took on the job so eagerly to impress the Teiko captain, if you were being honest to yourself

your enthusiasm even inspires Momoi, Teiko’s other manager, to work harder

no one in Teiko knows physiology better than you, and as expected, it was also your best subject along with health

Kise often looks at you in horror and respect at how you don’t cringe/flinch at the loud cracks resonating across the room or court when players come to you for instant relief (the origin story of how he came to call you (y/n)-cchi was the very fact that you manage to put back his dislocated shoulder in 3 seconds flat one game)

when Kuroko first joined the 1st-string, he was a walking magnet for injuries, and you ended up being there for him every single time… nosebleeds? check. sprained ankle? check. nausea from over exhaustion? check.

both you and Kuroko relish in the fact that everyone in the team can never understand how the both of you do some incredible things with your hands

both of you being quite dexterous, you both often teach each other your specialties for fun; it’s almost shocking to see Kuroko effortlessly loosening up a stress knot and you pulling off a well-done palm pass

you admit, you do juggle a lot of responsibilities… from being a makeshift nurse, to a chiropractor, to a budget gym coach, and even to being moral support

Momoi often reminds you to take breaks being the caring person that she is

talking to him about basketball duties is easier to achieve than talking to him outside of the extracurricular

you might be a tad bit insecure about it; after all, what middle schooler is already so accomplished in academics, sports, and everything you could think of? wasn’t he also studying to take over his father’s company??

to you, who only starred as Teiko’s humble manager, it felt hard trying to establish common ground for conversation outside of basketball

so you stuck to working hard at your position, hoping that your work ethic would get his attention one day; you were a firm believer of actions over words, so you hoped your actions would come off as genuine

picture you and Momoi running across campus with stacks of papers for the team… it makes most of the teammates’ hearts melt at the sight

your work certainly got you praises from other teammates, but out of all players, Kise was the one who figured out your motive

you felt absolutely morbid; to think that Kise, of all people, would figure you out like the back of his hand

Kise being sweet as he is, offers to help you get with the captain but you merely prompted to threaten to break his arm if he spilled your crush to anyone else

“(y/n)-cchi… I’ve been thinking.”

“Yes, Kise?”

“It’s really cool that you’re working so tirelessly for the team, but I can’t help but wonder if there’s a reason why you work so hard.”

“O-Of course I do! I want to see you guys all succeed!”

“Then I’m curious as to why you always look at Akashicchi—o-ow, ow, ow!! (y/n)-cchi, I’m sorry! So can you please let go of my—ow!”

“H-How did you know?!”

“I-It was as obvious as day, (y/n)-cchi! I’m pretty sure even Kurokocchi found out about this before I did!”

spoiler alert: Kise was right in that Kuroko definitely noticed your attraction to Akashi before anyone else… he just never brought it up to you

one day, Kuroko comes up to you to whisper:

“(y/n)-san, have you realized that Akashi-kun has been observing you recently during practice?”

“W-Wait! Is he looking over here right now?”

“Not that I think. He’s occupied with the coach right now.”

“D-Do you think this is a good sign?”

Kuroko gives you a small smile before he replies, “I would like to think so. Keep working hard, (y/n)-san.”

and you do, you’re constantly on top of your game for the next season until Momoi suddenly gets more recognition for her “precognitive defense” skills

her newfound talent was extraordinary and never-before-seen, and her ability became more critical to Teiko’s victories than your own skills

you were happy and proud for her, because after all, her achievements were extremely deserving to be praised

it’s only when some 1st-string players started making offhand comments about how you weren’t really needed in the 1st-string and was more suited to the lower strings that placed seeds of doubt into you

these people would often compare you to Momoi in how she improved much more despite you being in the team for longer

there’s also talk about how your skills are more useful for 2nd-string and 3rd-string players because Momoi’s ability is already sufficient enough for Teiko’s starters

after all, how would a player even be injured if they can predict their opponents’ moves to avoid such incidents?

there’s also the fact that Akashi has been calling Momoi more frequently to research on upcoming teams for analytical data because her talent has become very useful to ensuring victory

the same peers and adults who gave you praise were the same people who began to ignore you or dismiss you; that being said, the collective change in attitude is definitely subtle enough that it would fly under most people’s radars

Kuroko was the first to notice and defend you against a small group of players who were bold enough to badmouth you in the gym

Kise would find out a little later about the somewhat unpleasant gossip about you and would pull the “no you” reverse card, returning back with MEANER underhanded comments that would send these shit talkers CRYING HOME (manga Kise strikes here unexpectedly eh?)

Murasakibara is someone who would be slightly uncomfortable with the gossip about you, especially since you’ve always been so helpful and kind to the team and himself; he’d either leave the room himself or easily scare them away with his looming height and presence without saying a single word when he enters the room “minding his own business”

Midorima is a bystander judging from how he’s reacted to the Teiko dynamic changes in the actual show // he, of course, wouldn’t like the nasty talk about you but would actually mind his own business, choosing to focus on himself and what he has to do to contribute to his team; he assumes that you would work hard the same way he is and let your contributions do the talking

now Akashi surprisingly wouldn’t hear much of the gossip, since his presence alone SHUTS them up and commit to their practices like normal; after all, it’s very clear that Akashi doesn’t tolerate this type of behavior in the team (example: Haizaki), and it’s more apparent that he wouldn’t hesitate to drop kick them out especially since he has a soft spot for you (which Kise never fails to bring this up to you, but you think he’s reaching too much into it) // TLDR; the teammates mostly have the common sense to not utter anything bad about you… maybe one kid would slip out and get punished for “bad sportsmanship,” but Akashi merely assumes that it’s just one bad apple and not necessarily… the many others as well

Aomine???? bro he ain’t even at practice wdym (HELPPP LMAOO) // jokes aside, if he catches wind of players shit-talking outside of the gym… say at the convenience store or when he’s walking home or something, well… they wouldn’t have a good time…

Momoi simply chastises the gossipers when they try to talk shit on you to make Momoi herself look good, and it leaves? such? a? horrible? taste? like, she wants to believe that they’re just really poor jokes and not what they really believe in, and the teammates merely reassure her that they’re just bad jokes and that they “wouldn’t do it again;” poor Momoi wholeheartedly believes them

the weird talks about Momoi being “the better manager” just signalled to you that you haven’t contributed enough to the team yet, and it motivated you to work even harder

oddly, you weren’t jealous of the fact that Momoi was receiving more positive attention than you

you were more afraid of the fact that you were going to get left behind, and this fear only tightened its hold on you when more teammates (who used to talk to you a lot) have changed their tunes when they speak with you now, compared to them talking to Momoi

and you felt that the Generation of Miracles would do the same too… including Akashi

it wasn’t an irrational fear for you because he’s already been calling Momoi a lot more frequently for help than you recently

so you even offered to mop the gym floors after practice, offered to stay later than usual to be the one to lock up the gym for anyone (cough, Kuroko) who wanted to practice whenever they wanted

Kuroko was with you in the empty gym, you putting away the extra basketballs in the storage closet while he practiced his dribbling, until he heard a crash in there and a few basketballs rolled out the door

you collapsed right when you rolled in the basketball cart

POOR KUROKO HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO // he just tries to give you a piggyback ride as he abandons his plans of practice and tries to jog to the nearest local clinic

that’s where he bumped into Kise, who was heading home after an evening shoot when he saw the two of you

chaos ensue as Kise freaks out and Kuroko had to calm him down himself after answering the never-ending questions

at least the doctor there gave relieving news that you only collapsed from over-exhaustion and that the bruises from the fall were very faint

Kise makes a joke to Kuroko about, “What’s with you and (y/n)-cchi falling to the floor and fainting? You guys can’t be that alike.”

when you shortly regain consciousness, you were met with a… very stern Kuroko and Kise, who were both ready to hear your explanation and to scold you to oblivion

to your surprise, they were understanding; Kuroko understands the feeling of not being enough and working hard to meet other people’s expectations, and Kise understands the struggle of juggling multiple things in his schedule (come on, student, athlete, and model?)

they still scolded your ears off:

Reality- Chapter 11

The past few weeks have been an adjustment. I started working at Jaehee’s cafe, which is really great. As expected, Jaehee is an amazing boss, and for the most part, the people in this universe are incredibly kind. With some help from Yoosung, I’ve applied to start going to college next semester. I had to get Saeyoung’s help with records. I don’t know how he did it, but I have everything I need to officially live here. I’m mostly enjoying my life, which is weird for me. Normally I’m not happy, but here I have friends and a job and little stress. Zen’s performance is coming up, and he’s got tickets for all of us. I’m really excited about it. I woke up today and went to open the shop with Jaehee. I reluctantly let Saeyoung give me a car, but i’m not keeping it. I told him I’ll only use it until I can get my own. I had decided to bring over dinner, as well as the clothes I borrowed from Saeyoung a few days after the whole drunk incident, but that was when he sent me home with a car. Jaehee and I opened the cafe and got through the morning rush. Around noon, I went on my break. I made myself a cup of coffee and grabbed some food, before sitting down in the back of the cafe. I checked my phone. Unfortunately, no one was online to chat, but there was a text from Saeyoung. I smiled. I read the message and immediately grew nervous. Am I ready? I think so. It’s Saeyoung, I’ll be fine. 

Saeyoung: Hey (Y/N)! This might still be too soon, but would you like to go on an official date soon? 

(Y/N): I would love to! :)

I sat and stared at my phone. I feel conflicted. I know I like Saeyoung, but it still feels weird. How can he like me? I’m, well, me… Saeyoung answered back quicker than I had expected. 

Saeyoung: :). Is tomorrow night too soon? 

(Y/N): I’ll check with Jaehee to try to get off, but it should be fine! 

Saeyoung: perfect 

I tried to hide the smile growing on my face. It will be fun. I know it. I’ll have to go buy something to wear though. I tried to not think about the date and just eat my food, but it was hard. What if I’m too awkward? What if he really changes his mind? What do I do? What do I wear? Ugh. I checked the time. I got up and put my apron back on to get to work. I got back to work, putting on my friendly face for customers. Around an hour later Jaehee stood next to me while I was making a drink. “Is everything okay? You seem to have something on your mind,” Jaehee asked. Oh right I still have to ask her for tomorrow off. What if she needs me? What if it makes her disappointed in me? It’s one night, come on (Y/N). And this is Jaehee, she’ll be honest. “I’m okay,” I paused. “I think. Saeyoung just asked me out.” Her eyes widened slightly before she smiled. 

“It’s about time he asked you. Do you feel ready?” she asked.

“I think so. I’m nervous. I don’t know why I am, it’s just Saeyoung,” I replied.

“I’m sure being nervous for a first date is pretty normal. You don’t need to worry. While Saeyoung is interesting, he’s kind. He won’t try anything.” I smiled. 

“Yeah I know.”

“When is the date?” she asked. 

“Oh yeah, um, he was asking about tomorrow night. I know I’m scheduled to work though so if you need me to I can reschedule,” I offered. Jaehee laughed. 

“No need to do that. I can handle the shop on my own, you can go early, or even take all of tomorrow off.” 

“Thanks Jaehee, you really are the best.” After our short conversation, the cafe started to get busy again. I did my best not to think about tomorrow, but it was hard and it was distracting me. Thankfully, I kept enough focus to make orders correctly. But the clumsiness did ensue. I completely tripped and spilled an entire order on the ground. It was embarrassing. I apologized a million times to both Jaehee and the customer, both of which were really nice about it. My shift came to an end around 3pm. I waved bye to Jaehee and clocked out. First stop, clothing store. One problem though, I don’t know any. I pulled out my phone and searched for a store. I decided to try one called J&N. When I got there I immediately began looking for something to wear, but quickly was overwhelmed. What do I wear? Is this even cute? I was starting to break down in the dressing room. This looks terrible on me. Why did I think I’d look cute in this? I can’t wear this? Wait. Who knows fashion best? Zen. I decided that before giving up entirely, I would ask Zen for help. I sent him a few pictures of some outfits I was looking at. 

(Y/N): *pictures*

(Y/N): Zen helppp!! Saeyoung asked me on a date for tomorrow and I have no idea what to wear or buy

(Y/N): bless me with your knowledge 

I waited, and waited. I sighed. Guess he’s probably busy with rehearsals. I shouldn’t bother him anyway. I started to gather my things before I heard a knock at the dressing room I was in. “(Y/N)?” someone called out. There’s only so many people that know me here. Kinda sounded like Zen. I opened up the door and was surprised. It was Zen. He smiled. “Hello!” 

“Hello?” I asked. “Why are you here? How did you even know where I was?”

“Oh, you asked me for help so I came, duh. And in the pictures you sent I recognized the dressing room. I was in the area already so I decided to come. Also you really need help. Here try these.” He handed me a pile of clothes. I smiled. I’m glad I have someone who can help. I grabbed the clothes and started trying things on. I came out of the room each time to show Zen. We would discuss and then I’d go back to try on more things. It was actually kind of fun. I tried on the last outfit. Zen and I agreed that this had to be the one, and if it wasn’t then we’d go somewhere else. I looked in the mirror. Woah. I think this looks good. I feel good. I walked out of the room to show Zen. His mouth hung open and he nodded. “Oh yeah. That’s it. That’s what you are wearing tomorrow. How does it feel? Thoughts?” he asked. 

“I like it a lot! I feel good in this one for sure!” I replied. 

“Good. It looks really good. You look really good I mean. I think Saeyoung will like it, and if he doesn’t then he needs new glasses.” I laughed. 

“Thanks, and I think so too. Thank you for helping by the way. I really appreciate it. I would have been so lost, but you swooped in and saved me from looking like an idiot.” 

“It’s no problem. I’ve got to head back to rehearsal in half an hour, but I’m sure tomorrow will be great. I’m excited for you two.” I smiled. I went back and got changed into my clothes and paid for my new outfit. I said goodbye to Zen and headed home for the day. 

I woke up feeling nervous, which isn’t that unusual for me I guess. Saeyoung told me he’d come pick me up around 5p. I got up at 7a to go help Jaehee at the shop. I ate a small breakfast and made my way there. I was a mess. I kept messing up orders and dropping everything from the pen I used to the actual orders. I was stressed. I was doing a terrible job, just because I was nervous. I need to calm down. It’s just a date (Y/N), get it together. But I couldn’t get it together. Around noon, Jaehee nicely told me I could leave. She really was nice about it, but I still feel bad. I was going to stay until 3 again, which meant she’d be working alone for three hours until another employee came. I guess I always mess things up. I hope I don’t mess up this date. I got into my car feeling down. I leaned down and put my head on the steering wheel and sighed. I was close to tears, I felt so bad. It’s fine. You’re fine (Y/N). Jaehee isn’t like that. She understands. She’s not going to fire you because of one bad day. The customers were so-so about today. I probably made someone’s day a lot worse. I wiped away a couple tears and drove to my apartment. Yoosung and I promised to talk to each other when we felt down. We didn’t want either of us to spiral any further. I texted him as soon as I got home. 

(Y/N): T_T today has sucked

Yoosung: what’s going on? What happened? 

(Y/N): well, Saeyoung asked me to go out with him today, but I still went into work to help Jaehee. But I guess I was so nervous about tonight I kept making mistakes 

(Y/N): I kept getting orders wrong and dropping everything…

(Y/N): Jaehee asked me to leave….I still had another 3 hours I was supposed to work

(Y/N): why am I like this? 

Yoosung: I’m sure Jaehee understands, and it’s normal to be nervous. I’d be a mess if I were you too. You’re not incapable, you just had a rough day 

(Y/N): yeah I guess so 

Yoosung: I know so. Sometimes we have bad days, it doesn’t make us any less of a person

(Y/N): thanks yoosung :)

Yoosung: anytime. Now stop worrying to me and go get ready to have fun!

(Y/N): okay haha 

I went ahead and did as Yoosung suggested and got ready. I was still really nervous though. I was done getting ready at the perfect time. I heard a knock at my door and went to answer it. I smiled. “Hi Saeyoung!” He stared at me and I grew uncomfortable, so me being an idiot said, “what’s wrong with you? Stop looking at me.” Saeyoung laughed. I’m an idiot. You didn’t have to be so rude (Y/N) geez. 

“Sorry. You look nice. Are you ready to go?” he asked. I nodded. We walked to his car and my curiosity grew. “So what are we doing tonight?” I asked. 

“I’m glad you asked. Also I’m glad you decided on pants instead of a skirt or dress.” he stated. 

“What?” I asked. 

“Nothing. Today, in this universe, there is a carnival going on in the city. I thought it would be fun to go, and didn’t want to go alone,” he paused, and then asked with worry, “do you like carnivals? Or are you one of those people that’s afraid of all the rides?” I smiled.

“I actually love them. I’m a huge fan of roller coasters and things. Carnivals are fun.” 

“Oh good. I would have had to drop you back off and stopped talking to you if you didn’t.” 

“Brutal.” 

“I’m kidding...mostly,” he laughed. I laughed with him. “It would be really hard to love someone who doesn’t want to do stupid and slightly crazy things with me.” 

“I get that,” I chuckled. The rest of the car ride there was fun. We laughed a lot. Saeyoung really is amazing. As soon as I think the conversation will stop, he starts with something else. I don’t think I’ve ever conversed with anyone so easily. When we got to the carnival, the sun was just starting to set. We parked, bought tickets and went in. Our eyes lit up as we scanned the area. There were kids running around yelling, couples holding hands passing by. Not to mention all of the colorful lights and smells. Oh the smell. It smelled like popcorn and treats. I looked over at Saeyoung, he was already looking at me. I smiled. “I haven’t been to one of these in a really long time. I always got overwhelmed by how many people were here so I stopped going. It’s beautiful,” I told him. 

“I’ve only ever been to one, it was for a mission though, so it wasn’t what I wanted,” he replied. I nodded. He reached down and grabbed my hand, I looked down, avoiding all eye contact. “Is this okay? Purely so we don’t lose each other,” Saeyoung asked. I nodded. Before I could process what was happening, I was being pulled away by Saeyoung. We ran to the nearest booth for some food. We got huge things of cotton candy, as well as some normalish food like hot dogs. After that we ran from ride to ride. It was amazing. While we waited in line we talked, mostly about stupid things we’ve done, or things we like. Then we’d laugh and scream on the ride. We both had our hands in the air, smiling until our cheeks hurt. After we had rode all of the rides I was a bit nauseous. We sat down at a table and took it easy for a bit, then we went and played the different games they had. I was terrible at all of them, but somehow Saeyoung was really good. He even won me a cute stuffed bear to take home. The carnival was going to close soon, so we ran again trying to get to all of the rides again. We were running when Saeyoung suddenly stopped in front of me. I ran into his back completely, but he turned around to look at me. “Wait,” he began. I rubbed my head. 

“Ow, why did you stop?” I asked. 

“There’s one ride we didn’t get to!” he answered. I looked up at him confused. 

“What? I’m pretty sure we rode all of them.” 

“Nope!” he pointed over at the ferris wheel. “We forgot about the ferris wheel!” I rolled my eyes. 

“That’s hardly a ride!” I argued. He gasped. 

“It is too a ride! Why wouldn’t it be?” 

“It’s not any fun! You just sit there while it slowly brings you around,” I shook my head.

“No it has to be fun!” he whined. Has he never…?

“Have you never been on one?” I asked. He nodded. I sighed. “Alright I guess we have to then, but I’m warning you, they’re not that fun.” He grabbed my hand again and ran towards the ferris wheel. This is probably the last thing we'll be riding. I forgot his childhood was hard, he’s never even been on a ferris wheel. I have to find a way to make it more interesting. We got into the line and waited. When it was our turn we got into the cart thing. Saeyoung was practically bouncing up and down with excitement. I smiled. I guess it’s a little exciting. The wheel began to move, then stopped for more people to get on. Finally, it filled and began to move. I watched as Saeyoung calmed down, he almost looked disappointed. He looked over at me. “Yeah you’re right. This is boring. Why do people even go on these?” he asked. I laughed. “I’m serious why?” 

“Do you really not know? Or are you screwing with me?” I asked. How would he not know why people typically ride these? 

“I seriously don’t know. I thought they were popular because they’re fun, but clearly that’s not right.” He looks serious. He really doesn’t know? How am I supposed to tell him couples come up here because it’s romantic? Nope. I’m not doing that. He’ll figure it out eventually. He kept looking at me waiting for an answer. I sighed. “It’s for the view,” I told him. Not a complete lie. 

“Oh,” he replied. He looked out over where we were. Sure enough the view was amazing. The cityscape beneath us, and Saeyoung here next to me. I could see the city lights in his eyes, it only made his eyes even more beautiful, which I didn’t think was possible. I hadn’t noticed how long I had been staring at him until he turned and looked at me. “Need something?” he asked. I blushed and looked away. Quick think of something to change the subject….

“Yeah,” I looked back at him. 

“Go on,” he laughed. 

“Wanna know how to make this more fun?” He nodded. I put my hands on the bar in front of me and started swinging the cart back and forth. Saeyoung laughed and helped. So there we were. Two idiots swinging a cart on a ferris wheel back and forth. When we were supposed to get off the worker wasn’t happy and asked us to leave. We had to leave anyway because they were closing down, but whatever. Saeyoung and I held hands as we finally walked back to his car. I was smiling. I just had so much fun, I hope he did too. When we got in the car Saeyoung looked at me. “I don’t wanna take you home yet,” he stated. 

“Are you kidnapping me or something?” I asked. 

“Yes,” he stated. What? My face dropped.

“Wha-”

“I’m kidding (Y/N). I just don’t want today to end, I’m having too much fun,” Saeyoung interrupted. 

“Oh, haha, yeah me too,” I answered. We decided to go and get some ice cream to end our date. We sat in his car and ate the ice cream while talking. When we were done eating there was a pause in conversation, it was the first time that had happened that night. “You know,” Saeyoung began. “I don’t think I expected you to be like this.” 

“What do you mean?” I asked, insecurities starting to creep in. Was the date not good? Was he not having fun? He smiled at me. 

“I don’t know really. I didn’t think I could like someone as much as I like you. I mean, we’ve known each other for a month maybe, but I feel like I’ve known you for longer. I feel like we’ve been through so much. I guess when I went to your universe I expected you to not actually care about me. I expected you would say that your feelings weren’t real and that it was just part of the game, but you didn’t. You returned the feelings I had. I feel like you care. You’re so fun to be around. I don’t know why you’re insecure. You’re absolutely stunning, you’re kind, you make me laugh. You’re just, you, and I love it. I hate that you feel empty sometimes, or are anxious around people, because, really, people would be lucky to get to know you. I feel so lucky that I get to know you. I’d feel even luckier to get to love you. I never knew people could be as perfect as you,” he finished. I sat there and looked at him with my mouth slightly open. No one has ever said anything that beautiful to me. How do I even respond? How can I respond? He took words right out of my mouth. I’m not perfect, but I love being around him. I didn’t know I could feel like this. Turns out I didn’t have to say anything. Saeyoung leaned over and hesitated, before kissing me. I was in shock at first and didn’t move, so he backed away, looking afraid that I wasn’t interested. I snapped out of it and leaned to kiss him back. His lips felt soft against mine. It felt right and sweet. I poured my feelings into it. How much I care about him, how happy he made me even when I thought he didn’t exist, how happy I am to be here. After a few moments, we separated. I smiled and looked down, a bit embarrassed. I could tell he felt the same way. “Uh,” Saeyoung swallowed. “I guess I should take you home now.” I giggled. 

“Yeah, I guess so,” I replied. He started up the car and drove me home. After a minute or two of awkward silence after the kiss, conversation began to flow again. Saeyoung walked me up to my door again. I stopped outside of my door. “Thank you for tonight, I had a lot of fun really,” I told him. 

“I did too. We should do this more,” he replied. 

“I would love that.” I smiled. 

“Can I-,” he paused. “Can we do that again?” It didn’t take long for me to realize what was asking. I nodded. Saeyoung moved his hand to my cheek and kissed me again. I melted into it, wanting to memorize the feeling of his lips on mine. We separated and smiled at each other again. “I’ll see you then, have a good night,” Saeyoung said. 

“Thanks, you too.” I moved to hug him before he left. After we hugged, we said goodbye once again and Saeyoung left. I went inside my apartment and smiled. Wow. A whole night where I didn’t feel anything, but happiness. I can’t remember the last time that happened. I got ready for bed, but found that I was unable to sleep. Normally, I can’t sleep because I’m thinking about all the stupid things I did that day, but tonight was different. I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about how much fun I had and wondering when I’d get to see him next. Eventually, my thoughts slowed and I slept.

Day 18: Forced to Hunt/Sing/Perform

For @amonthofwhump‘s Water Whump May, where I write a part of this story every day according to the prompt. I think Hugh and Gawain are constantly trying to one-up each other because whenever one bastard does a bad thing, the other one does something worse and I can’t stop them helppp.

Even as he went still, as he let out a breath, as his eyes rolled into the back of his head…

The singing never stopped.

He woke to lips pressing against his own, stale breath forced down his throat, and hands repeatedly pounding down on his chest. He couldn’t breathe right under the weight and he tried to bat the hands off, choking and coughing on wet breaths.

“Stah… stop it, gotta- gotta breathe…” he slurred, pushing weakly against hands that immediately let go, to his relief. 

“Finally! I was starting to think you died for good. Captain woulda been fuckin’ pissed,” a female voice said, and he looked up to see a woman kneeling above him. She was part of Gawain’s crew, no doubt, but he didn’t know why she was there, or why he was there for that matter.

Where had he been before this? Gawain tied him to the front of the ship, he remembered that much. Then… he’d broken free, hadn’t he? He’d broken free and swam away with those other people: the ones who looked like they had tails and held him down under the water until he couldn’t stay conscious any longer. 

Who were they? Why were they there? Nobody dared go for a swim that far out in the ocean, for fear of what vicious creatures lived there below the surface. Were these people some of those vicious creatures?

He banished the thought from his head. He’d been so incoherent by that time that some of his memory had to be imagined or exaggerated. Though that still didn’t explain how in the world he survived. Ray turned back to the woman still leaning over him.

“How did y-you-” he started, but a coughing fit overtook him. Water and spit dripped from the corner of his mouth when he spoke again, weakly. “How’d you find me?”

“You were floating in the water right over here. How could I not find you?” she chuckled, grabbing at his arm. “Now get up. Captain wants you back safe and sound, and it’s not like I brought anyone else to carry you back.” True to her word, there really was nobody else around the small cove he’d ended up in. How he’d ended up there, he had no idea, but the ship was nowhere in sight. She leaned down to pull Ray more firmly, hoisting him to his unsteady feet before he could protest further. It was only then that the full extent of the situation struck him.

They were isolated. He didn’t know where he was going, but he knew which direction the lady was walking. If he kept going on his own, he was bound to find the ship eventually. And Llyr was still there; what was happening to him now that Ray had run off? 

He curled his hand into a fist before he even knew what he was doing, and launched a punch at her temple from behind. She crumpled to the ground with a shout, and she was out cold. Well. That worked out, he supposed. The adrenaline was still coursing through Ray’s veins as he continued on trembling legs, walking across rocky sand with larger chunks that dug into his feet, already sore from the night before. 

The sun, rising higher in the sky, heated everything around him and forced him to sweat out water he didn’t think his body even had in its dehydrated state. But eventually, after not all too long, he made it back to the ship where there were plenty more sailors milling around. 

Most seemed to be patrolling the edges of the beach, and he pressed back up against the rocky cliff, the shade it provided just enough to hide him from plain sight. Ray continued along there, watching everyone warily, and finally made it to the point where he was aligned with the back entrance point of the ship. The ground there was littered with splintered wood, along with the rocks.

There was one more person he could see, milling around in a barely visible room, but they soon disappeared up a set of stairs and he took his chance. Ray slunk into the ship, all carefully silent footfalls and owlish wide eyes, looking around in the relative darkness to find any sign of where they’d kept Llyr. Each room he checked was devoid of other people, and he grew tense with the fear that Gawain had already woken him and hurt him even more for no reason before Ray had the chance to save him.

Then there was a cold point of metal at the small of his back, a hand on his shoulder, and he couldn’t think. 

“Don’t move,” a voice said, and he recognized it. “Hugh? Oh thank god, it’s you I-” “I said don’t move!” he hissed, pressing the blade in hard enough to draw blood. Ray went stiff and turned back around to face forward. He kept his breathing steady. He wouldn’t let his heart race, and he wouldn’t let himself panic. This was a misunderstanding, or- or something, he didn’t fucking know right now.

“...what’s up?” Ray asked, throat tightening around the words, forcing them out higher than he’d intended. 

“You ran,” Hugh stated simply.

“I was gonna help you, and we were gonna get out before anyone else woke up. No harm done. You know...”

“Do you know how much trouble you got me in?” he snapped, jerking Ray’s shoulder back and forcing his body against the blade. “You wanna know what happened after you set such a great fucking example?!”

“I’m-” he tried to speak, but Hugh was dead set on saying what he had planned. Knowing him, he’d been rehearsing the coming speech in his head since whatever incident had occurred.

“The little fucking thief ran off,” he growled, “and I’m taking the blame for his disappearance. First you, then him, and the captain’s gonna have my head soon if I don’t fix this shit. He’s got plans for you, ya know.”

Llyr had run. That was all that mattered. He’d gotten out of there, away from Gawain and Hugh, and he was safer wherever he was now.

“Good for him. Let him go, Hugh, and we’ll get out of here ourselves.”

“Get out of here? You’re making that sound like a good thing, Ray. I think we’ll be just fine here. Captain’s the first sensible guy I’ve met in years, really.”

“I’m your captain, Hugh: not that freak. We’re leaving and finding wherever the rest of the crew sailed off to, and that’s final.”

“I don’t take orders from you anymore, Raymond!” Hugh all but shouted in his ear. “I’m tired of you and your happy, peaceful little rules! If I gotta join up with some law abiding folks to have some decent fun, then goddammit that’s what I’m gonna do!”

Ray was silent for a moment, and the words hung in the air like an awful stench. Perhaps he should have seen that coming. 

“Listen up. You and I are gonna take a nice walk down the beach and find that boy, and when we do, we’re gonna bring him right back here. If you refuse to help,” he paused, trailing the blade up his back with a feather light touch, “I’ll end you right here, right now.”

“Wait, don’t, I- won’t Gawain kill you, then? If you- if you kill me?”

“He’ll kill me anyway if I don’t find Llyr, and the stupid brat would never come with me if I didn’t have help. Now are you helping, or am I gonna have to explain why I got blood all over these new, clean clothes before he spills mine as well?”

Ray breathed out a wavering sigh and closed his eyes.

Funny how people would always associate laughing and smiling all the time with being happy and living life to the fullest. Some friends, most of them actually, thought I'm living the easy, happy-go-lucky life. Others would make me feel less, because I'm obviously not being productive than I should be at my age, well, not that they say it to my face, but I can feel it. Sometimes, it makes it feel mad, but mostly I feel sad. I know i am much better than this, and certainly can do better, but... I really am trapped inside my mind. I've been a prisoner of my own mind for more than two years now, and it's horrible. I swear I wouldn't wish this to anybody, not even to my enemies. This is a bad place to be. I tried opening up to a few people, five. But I just got this usual response. That I shouldn't let it too much in my head. That my mind should be stronger than my emotions. Goodnews, it's true, my mind is definitely stronger, it always wins. I CAN'T GET OUT. HELPPP.

Some would say, just snap out of it. I WISH I COULD. Some would think I'm just making this all up, an excuse because I'm just really being lazy. I'M NOT. But I'm tired. I'm tired of explaining things. I hate that I need to justify my self, my actions to anyone. Specially, to people I thought would understand, people whom I only chose to share what I really feel.. but in the end would only judge me, worse.. invalidate my feelings. That some people have it worse. That I'm much more blessed that alot of people. That others just go on with their lives because they don't have much choice. I know this, ofcourse. But... don't I have the right to feel what I'm feeling because alot of people have it worse? Don't I have the right to claim that I too am suffering because others have greater sufferings? Can't I not share what I feel because it's not a valid distress? Somehow i eneded up crying in my room again. I don’t remember why i started to cry to be honest. Maybe my mother didn’t showed up as usually and it still hit me, it always does. She is a bad mother, she never was a good one, maybe for one second but no longer. I never got used to having bad parents, i always kept being a crybaby. So i sat down against the ellowish walls, onto the blue floor, next to the yellow chair over which a towel hang down. And i cried while i faced the shelf infront of me. After a while the door opened and he came in. I don’t remember which words he spoke even if i inhaled every word, every single tone of his voice like it was my oxygen. He sat down infront of me, hands in his lap his face facing mine. He started to talk about all my positive traits, and about what a good person i am. He started to dry my tears with just his words coming out of his mouth, out of this beautiful mouth of his. Somehow i found relief.

The other time we were playing soccer on the sports field, i always loved to play soccer with him. I’m always daydreaming about this, and about newer situations on the sports field. But yeah. I always made sure not to hurt me because i was so anxious. In school the kids always made sure to get the goal, my face. So i panicked every time i saw a ball, or at least when it would fly in my direction. One time he broke his pants/trousers while playing. I found it funny and somehow hot.

And the last really beautiful memorie of the past w him:

I always asked if i could hug him, because i’ve been so damn hopelessly in love with him, and i always needed a hug but no hug from another person could ulfill my needs. He alaways said no but hugged one of the other girls, so iwas hurt and felt kind of betrayed or something. and jealous. He never said yes to this one, til the last day. On the last day i cried because i didn’t want to leave, because of him. And it hurt the most that i couldn’t tell him. So he hugged me, and he told me that you’ll alwas end up meeting people at least twice. And he was right. This was the best hug i ever had. Since then i’m still hugging people to try to fullfill my needs but its not effective.

Just like: okay, I'm gonna do 3 chapters today. • don’t beat yourself up for not achieving them, but also don’t keep procrastinating. • set small goals and get them done in the morning. If you want to, you can get started on the next day’s goals.

Don’t be a potato • ok, I know it’s hard. You just have to move around a bit. Help your mom. Skype with your sister. Dance to the new k.a.r.d song as awkwardly as possible.

Don’t get too overboard • enjoy your holidays boo. Don’t spend all day at your desk while you could be making plans with your friends that you’ll never do • but then again, if you like studying then who am I to stop you? Just don’t miss out on life while you’re at it

Eat healthy • I mean, you can eat those Cheetos. But don’t have them for every meal is all I'm saying • I know holidays are supposed to be for letting go of stuff like that. But fam.. Take care of yourself. You’ll feel bloated and gross and ugh

Career choice

im sending this via submit instead of ask bc it might become pretty long!!! 

okay so. i finished high school in 2016 & i applied to uni this year. i got in vet school but couldnt go bc they didnt accept my paperwork (im from brazil so like, things are different and etc). it is okay though because my grade on the national exam was pretty good so im confident i can try again in the middle of the year and get through. 

thing is: i’ve been struck between (for uni choices) veterinary and nurse school for some time now. 

i like the ~idea~ of both a lot. but i don’t know much about it like. in the Practice. 

regarding vet school: i love animals (all of them) but im not a bunny hugger. i dont get disgusted easily - or at all. i believe i can take animals with broken bones an diarrhea and covered in flies, rotting away and still alive. i really have a super strong stomach and no complains about gory and ugly stuff. 

i have a lot of mental illnesses so anxiety depression mood disorder etc, so i. have a hard time interacting with people and being a Functional Human Being.

and i i have two moods, regarding studying: either im smart as fuck and i can do this or im too dumb lmao why even try. which. make me worried about the career choices i picked. because i am smart, and a super fast learner, i always excelled in school and in general (even when i was dying with depression which ya know ends you) i still did super well. i don’t… know how to study and i have bad focus. like ive never studied once in my whole life because i never NEEDED IT. and im like. afraid if it happens during university i wont. know how to do it and will get fed up and drop out.  i am really smart and i learn things really easily but i also. am very mentally ill so i dont know how far my intelligence will take me regarding university. do i make sense.

i would like to be a nurse (not a doctor, a nurse) because i want to help people esp mentally ill people or disabled people or addicts. i dont mind the strong work hours (i rlly like working during the night) and as long like. i have a constant shift of things to do n no time to b distracted and have an influx of THINGS I NEED TO DO im okay. 

buuuuuuut. i also LOVE FARMS. and my dream atm is to become a vet and specialize with big animals like cows or horses, idk we’ll see how it goes down the line. and either work with them like in the milk industry or meat industry or simply for health, idk!!! but like. work at a Farm. or exotic animals. 

regarding job wise, im pretty sure it’s . okay since my whole region where i live lives off agriculture and animal products (reallyyyyy big part of the national income). 

i read the posts on! the career advice tag. and like. i know vet school is hard, hard hours, hard patients, you will blame yourself. i truly believe i can deal with that because of my mental illnesses (low empathy, skewed morals, mood shifts and like. not being a Good PersonTM in general)

TL;DR i guess is. technically, i know im fit for both vet school and nurse school bc i have a super strong stomach + want to help animals/people. but im scared my Natural Smart won’t pull me through it and im really. bad at studying i guess. and really impatient. my likes change a lot and im afraid it’ll affect my career choice. is this the right thing to do? or should i just do my backup plan which is become an air flight attendant and like, never be at home bc im working all the time. pls helppp !!!! They bring out the children and ask whether anyone can deny them the basic human right of health care  but dont bother with the evidence showing how health care in this country would be harmed by government control. A look at other modern rights might give us a clue about how well a new system would work. These rights started out as privileges, among them education and a paid retirement. Now education is not only considered a right, its a mandate. How well has it worked? American students attend school at least until their teen years, but 15-year-olds ranked 24th out of 29 countries in aptitude for real-life math problems, according to The Washington Post. Literacy surveys suggest one in five American adults is functionally illiterate. And taxpayers keep shelling out money to fund the system. Americans also cherish the right to retire  but we expect to be supported in our old age. Younger workers and employers are forced to support retirees, funding another right. False County Court Claim Against Me on My Car Insurance?

Someone has put a claim in against me for damages, for an accident I know nothing about. It is from early 2010 and has been going on since then. I have been contesting it on the grounds I have not been involved in an incident, however the third party solicitors have issued County Court proceedings against me. My insurance company are saying they are putting in a defence and have provided a barrister. I am really annoyed with this as I know I haven't been in an accident. I could understand if maybe they were claiming I clipped them and I had done it without realising but they are claiming for an accident which I have no knowledge of! I have attended the Magistrate's Court hearing and although I pleaded not guilty I have been found guilty on the grounds that for the time and date of the accident I have no alibi, witness or other evidence to support my whereabouts. The other party has an independent witness who works for the same company and alleges she could recognise my car but not me as a driver. Mag court fined me and gave me 6 points on my licence. I am not working (and not in receipt of any benefits) and this CC claim amounts to 5k! How would I pay a sum like this??? Or would my insurance company pay out if I was found to be at fault ??? Question about auto insurance claim pay?

Someone I know got into an auto accident (backed into a parked car). Both parties are insured. The guy I know filed an insurance claim and they find him 100% at fault (duh), but the insurer will not give him any money as a result of this. I've never had to file any auto claims in all my time driving (thankfully), so I don't know as to whether what happened is what's supposed to happen. If you're 100% at fault, is it standard for insurers to give no payout at all? I don't know the terms of this guy's insurance policy (told me he uses farmer's insurance, if that matters, not Geico or some other budget insurer), but I thought the purpose of insurance is to cover yourself in the event of accidents, whether you're at fault or not. In Illinois How does my driving record (20 F) affect my parents auto insurance if I'm not on their policy? I have my own car in my name and my own insurance policy in a different company than theirs.
