it’s a warm morning, even warming considering the body heat snoozing next to you. as you come to realize that you’re in bed with your boyfriend.

you looked around and noticed you were still in your clothes from the day prior.

it was time to take a shower..

as you walked around the room cleaning up anything out of place and gathering your skincare products, you notice that your boyfriend has finally woken up.

“goodmorning babe..” was all you said as you continued shuffling around.

“you look gorgeous today, just showered?” the compliment slipped from his lips easily which caused you to slowly turn towards him. you blinked in confusion as your brain began to turn wheels and think of what to say back.

“what do you want to do today beautiful? we can go shopping at that mall you like, to make it up to you about yesterday..” a sheepish smile was spread across your boyfriends face.

“oh.. sure”

this is ridiculous.

today was supposed to be a nice day with just you and your boyfriend.

key people.. YOU and YOUR BOYFRIEND not you, your boyfriend and the bodyguard.

you try to ignore the bodyguard staring holes into your forehead as you shuffle through a rack of colorful sundresses. your boyfriend is lazily picking through a rack of lace panties.

“babe what about this dress?” you pulled out a multicolored dress with spaghetti steps. jihoon tilted his head and squinted his eyes, “no black?” of course he’d ask that. his favorite color was dark colors and he loved seeing you in black but you preferred a larger array of colors.

“ah.. i’m not sure..” you put the dress back with a sigh. you lifted your gaze to the bodyguard who seemed to be fixated on a bright orange dress that was displayed on a mannequin. it was beautiful. long, backless and had artsy designs.

he’s got taste.

“yoo jihoon, my man” a tall male walked over. this male was named kev or something like that. he’s a friend of your boyfriend and you’re pretty sure he’s a gold digger but at least he isn’t digger your wallets.

“what up lil mama” kev waved at you and smiled. he’s a good guy when he isn’t robbing people of their hard earned money.

“hello to you too kev..” you waved back and continued to look through the racks of dresses. it wasn’t long before jihoon kissed you on the cheek and told you he was going to hang out with kev for a bit. he handed you his black card and ran off to god knows where.

after a half an hour went by, you picked out the bright orange dress and a black one. you didn’t know which to pick because you preferred the orange dress however, your boyfriend liked the color black and you wanted to make him somewhat happy. so you tried them on starting with the black dress, which was pretty simple to get on. however, the real problem came to put it on the bright orange dress, because it had strings to tie in the back.

“are you kidding!” you yelped as the dress began sliding down due to your inability to tie the strings correctly.

“you okay in there..?” the voice echoed in the empty changing room hallway. it was jimin. all you could do was try to cover up the best you can and suck it up to ask for a little help from this man.

“yeah but i need a bit of help?” you said in an unsure tone. as you cover yourself properly, you unlock the dressing room door and saw jimin. today he had his mask off and had his hair styled with one side gel back and the other over his forehead. he must’ve have unconsciously wandered his eyes down your body before quickly, snapping them back up to meet your gaze.

“what did you need help with?” he beamed happily. without saying a word you slowly turned around and lifted one arm to put towards the strings in the back that needed to be tied and adjusted.

“oh of course!” he spoke, as he quickly untangled the strings and tied them properly. after he finished, he stepped back and watched you admire yourself in the full length mirror.

“is this the one you’re getting?” his simple question caused you to turn around with an unreadable expression. he seemed a bit chattier than he was the other day. it was no cause for concern. However, you’re used to silent shopping trips with your boyfriend.

“i’m not sure, the black one is also kind of cute—“

“personally i think the orange dress makes your skin glow best” he hummed, as if satisfied with his personal opinion. you turned back around to face the mirror and watched him stare at you through the glass.

“do you really think so or are you just tired of standing around waiting for me to be done?” you were quite skeptical. whenever you and your boyfriend went shopping. he typically told if he liked an outfit because it was his favorite color or it was more revealing than a casual outfit. so to have a genuine opinion that complimented you yourself it felt a bit strange, especially coming from someone you just met.

“I don’t mind standing around, waiting for you to finish shopping.. you seem to enjoy looking around at the same dress in different colors.” there was a slight tease to his tone when he finished his statement. you turned around and gave him a look. it wasn’t as effective as you thought it was, because when you both made eye contact you both busted out into a fit of giggles and laughter.

“hm.. it’s final then, i’ll get this one” you smiled widely as you shooed jimin out of your stall.

even though your boyfriend was nowhere to be seen, even after 2 more hours are walking around, you still had a lot of fun with jimin.

maybe he wasn’t as bad as he tried to make him seem in the beginning regardless, if he’s supposed to be your bodyguard or not, he’s actually pretty good company. he’s attractive has a sense of style very honest and pretty funny.

however, you were starting to get hungry and tired with all the walking around the mall and as much as you would like to buy food at the mall you would prefer to cook something at your house. as you walked out the mall and towards the parking lot you waved jimin goodbye, as if he was a friend that came along with you. He threw you a confused look. then he remembered why he was actually there and quickly turned away and walked to where you remember your boyfriends car being parked.

when you got to the space, it was empty. jimin was still following closely behind you frantically looked around in the search of the car. You can jogging around the parking lot wondering where your boyfriend was or where the car was.

after a good 15 minutes of searching text popped up on your phone unexpectedly.

after sending that text message, you silenced your phone and angerly stuffed it into your purse as you made your way to the sidewalk next to the mall. to make your evening even worse jimin was no longer anywhere in sight so you have nowhere to go to get a ride. that was until you heard a car rolling up next to you and the window began to wind down with calming music playing from inside.

as you turn your head to meet the driver with a glare, it turned out to be jimin. it must’ve slipped your mind that jimin took his own car here because your boyfriend called him over. as soon as your eyes connected with him, you frowned.

he nodded his head towards the passenger seat with an apologetic look on his face. despite the fact that you would much rather call yourself an Uber, it’s definitely easier to just catch a ride with the man hired to protect you anyway.

before you can get into the car with all your bags in your hand , jimin quickly, stepped out of the car and took the bag from you, placing them in the trunk carefully. and without a word, he open the passenger door and wait for you to step inside to which you did.

The car ride was silent for the most part until jimin decided to break the unnerving silence.

“i’m sorry,” was all he said as he continued down the busy street. the statement was met with silence. he cleared his throat and turned the radio on, possibly to make the situation less awkward than it already is. as the car pulled up to a red light, jimin looked at you from the corner of his eye, and frowned a bit.

The disappointment was etched onto your face, and it seemed as if the weight of whatever you and your boyfriend had going on was slowly crashing down onto you. you sniffled hoping the music would mask your sounds of hopelessness.

“i don’t need an apology.. or any pity, especially from you,” was all you muttered. this seemed to shock jimin as he snapped his head towards you.

“what’s that supposed to mean?” the tone of his voice came off a bit offended, but he seem to have caught himself and cleared his throat yet again.

“what do you think? you’re just some guy who my boyfriend hired to watch over me because he’s a dirty, cheating, lying, manipulative, little prick who’s afraid that i’ll up and leave him!” the volume of your voice, unintentionally raised, which caused jimin to raise an eyebrow at your outburst. you saw his expression shift from the corner of your eye, and so you side deeply, and spoke again. “look I’m sorry I have nothing against you in particular it’s just that you’re someone hired by my boyfriend, which means you have to be at least somewhat friends with him so you know how he is, right? that’s why I’m not too keen on you following me around because for all, I know you could be just like him.”

“ I get that and I think it’s pretty reasonable to think the way you’re thinking I don’t consider me and your boyfriend friends at all I’m just someone who worked for him for a while and it was good at my job. Maybe he thinks we’re friends but I just think he’s a client no more no less. And if it makes you feel any better. i’m fully aware that he’s a ‘prick’ but he’s paying the good money to watch a pretty lady, nothing wrong with that in my opinion,” jimin let out a small chuckle as the light turns green signaling him to go. you stared at him for a minute or two and slowly began to giggle. “to watch a pretty lady? there are plenty of other pretty ladies you could be watching like jennie jane or hwasa,” you began listening off a few women in the modeling industry that you have Collabed with.

your statement was only met with a laugh and a headshake as jimin turn the radio up and continue driving towards your house.

The car soon pulled up into the driveway of the luxurious house. you were feeling a bit better, despite the fact that your boyfriend basically abandoned you at a mall with a stranger sort of.

“Mr. park are you hungry?” you questioned as jimin followed closely behind you with the shopping bags while you opened the front door. you probably should’ve went back to the hotel, but you rather not risk the chance of running into your boyfriend, because you know that if you see him now you’ll blow up in his face.

jimin nodded his head as he said the bags down in the living room, but not before taking off his shoes. The fresh scent of lavender and perfume hit his nose. ”actually i am, also you home smells lovely and how’s that perfume smell so strong?” he questioned as he made his way back to the front door.

you quickly noticed this action and walked over to him. “what are you going to eat? what do you want to eat? also i walk around and spray my house with my perfume, if i like it’s smell enough,”

“i’ll probably go get some take out on my way home..” jimin responded, whilst rubbing his chin with a thoughtful expression. seemed a bit hesitant to leave. However, he put his shoes on and continued to walk out the door.

“oh? eat well then,” you said to him, but something in your gut wanted to tell him to stay and keep you some company, but there was no need for him to stay, really. that’s when it seemed as though fate was really on your side after such a disappointing day.

both of your phones went off at once causing you both to open them up.

as you read the text message, an unexpected feeling of excitement bubbled within your stomach. You were excited at the fact that you would have a little bit of breathing room with your boyfriend going away on a business trip. Typically he took you with him on these trips because he didn’t trust you but you guess now that jimin is around you’re free to stay home and live in a bit of peace.

jimin turned around in a spot and stared at you with an unreadable expression. “do you want me to stay with you?” was all he said, and it was met with silence as you gave a blank expression. he must’ve realized that staying with you was actually his job so he quickly took his statement back and told you he would go and pack a bag of things he would need to stay over. you giggled as you watched him trip over his feet getting to his car, the embarrassment was evident on his face.

because of the fact you didn’t have jimin’snumber, you left the front door unlocked.

after an hour and a half of you, cooking and cleaning, the house was starting to smell of freshly cooked dinner. That’s when you heard the door open quietly, and someone walking through and taking their shoes off the sound of bags being placed on the floor gently.

“mr. park is that you?” you picked your head down the hallway leading to the front door and surely it was jimin. you must’ve frightened him a bit as he was frozen in place while taking his shoes off.

“you really shouldn’t leave your door unlocked that’s very unsafe..” he said as he picked his bags up and brought them to the living room floor. “in here smells good. What did you make?”

“it’s a surprise”

“a surprise?” he tilted his head which caused his hair to fall over his eyes. you just now noticed that his previous hairstyle from earlier in the day was now undone.

“yes! i made enough to share for both of us” a small smile was slap onto your face as you made your way to the kitchen to begin sharing out the food.

jimin seemed unsure of what to do with himself until you motion for him to take a seat at the kitchen island.

once you shared out the food and gave jimin his plate. you both ate in a peaceful silence and not soon after you put a movie on in the living room. jimin had gone to take a shower while you waited for him to finish.

You had been halfway through some random horror flick when suddenly you felt a droplet of water hit your shoulder. you looked up above your head only to be met with the view of jimin hovering over you and staring at the tv.

The source of the water had been coming from his still damp hair. scrunched up your face in distaste. you flicked the underside of his chin which caused him to back up and look at you properly.

“what was that for?” he pouted a bit and rubbed the underside of his chin, as if it actually pained him.

“you’re dripping water on me, so dry your hair or something,” you rolled your eyes as you refocused on the movie that you were watching. you heard movement coming and going, and then felt the couch sink down next to you.

jimin had went and got a towel to put over his head. “don’t just let the towel sit on your head actually dry your hair before you get sick,” you shook your head at him as he quickly follow your orders.

“shouldn’t you be going to sleep now it’s pretty late and you have to take a shower before you go to bed too” jimin spoke, not looking at you but at the movie. you turned your head to him and yawned silently.

“i will.. just wanna finish this movie first”

after the end of the movie, you went to your room and got dressed and hopped in the shower. once you came out the shower and got fully dressed, you made your way back to the living room only to find jimin sitting alone in the dark, with only the light of his phone illuminating his form.

“you should take one of the guest bedrooms it’s way more comfy than sitting out here on the couch,” you stated before walking off to open one of the guest bedroom doors. It seems as though jimin wanted to protest this offer, but it was too late as you went in and made sure the room looked presentable.

jimin son walked in with all his bags and watched you fix up a few things on one of the dressers. “it’s fine it’s not like I’m going to be sleeping much anyways so being on the couch, would make more sense, no?”

“either way you still deserve somewhere to get a little rest when you can,” a sigh left your lips as you finally finished arranging things. You began pointing to him where the extra sheets and towels were kept even the extra products.

before you retired to your room for some well-deserved rest jimin called out to you.

“hey before you go, let me give you my number just in case you ever need it!” he whipped out his phone quickly and went to display his number. you both exchanged numbers and began talking about contact profile picture ideas.

“i’ll put you under ‘pretty client’, what do you think?” he giggled.

“that sounds unprofessional, i’ll have you under ‘short man’, because it’s fitting of you!” you snorted. even though jimin was considerably tall, he was still shorter than your boyfriend. He caught onto the teasing tone and pouted. But not long after you bid him farewell so you can finally go to bed.

do you have any tips on making fandragons? yours are really good in a way i cant quite quantify

oh why thank you! I love my dumb fandergs so much kldjkldd

I'm not sure if I have tips per se, but I can explain how my thought process works when I do make fandergs so maybe that can be helpful 👀

when it comes to making them, the way I do it is first deciding what breed to make em. I consider what details I want to bring out of the fandom character so for example, I made my Johnny Bravo dragon a pearlcatcher cuz I wanted the dragon to have hair but not so much like a tundra. I also had an outfit in mind (to match Johnny's t shirt and jeans) so that ruled out ancients since you can't dress em and I didn't feel like making a skin lol.

and behold: a man™. when I drew him, I thought it'd be funny to actually match the style of the show so he's all angular and disproportionate. I only included features that I wanted from the pearlcatcher like the horn, ears, and tail and tbh he looks like a rhino lol but I decided stuff like the hair tufts on the face and limbs was too much for my taste.

same thing went for my Samurai Jack dragon. however, this guy's actual dragon sprite is a lot more complex just cuz I felt like making him fancy and giving him armor.

but when I drew him, he's just very much like Jack in the show, including the style. and I'm not saying fandergs have to match the style of whatever, I just think it's a fun nod. you can also notice here I didn't draw the smoke gene on him. that's just a personal decision I wanted to keep only on the sprite, in reference to Japanese ink paintings.

my design philosophy in general is "how would x person look like if they were a dragon." but if it's like an animal/creature fanderg (like for example my bazelgeuse derg from monster hunter) then I just kinda combine both elements together.

so for Tasha here, laced and edged look like chonky scales which for me was close enough to the egg-like scales of bazel and I got a skin for the fire theming. no clothes cuz I didn't wanna cover up the skin so sometimes I don't even dress em up if I prefer seeing their bodies.

when I drew her, you can see the combined bits of both the monster and wildclaw - bazel's wings, the chonk claws, egg scales, facial features - wc tail feathers, the multigaze, feather hair. there's a lot of "use your imagination" in my designs so like, I don't usually take things at immediate face value. so some people might see laced/edged as just flat scales or maybe even feathers but my brain went oh those are fat fuck egg bombs kjldfkldkl.

sometimes my fandergs are just inspired from colors like Baja who's a taco bell fan dragon lol. I saw this hat and was like yeah I can do something with that. another example of a derg I didn't really dress cuz I wanna see the baja blast™ capsule. Baja would prolly be one of the more thematically standard flight rising dergs of my fandom ones cuz she's just a spiral without anything fancy pancy going on like the previous ones.

and sometimes it's just fun to make things kinda funky. for my Jacket fanderg, I was like, what if the chicken mask was literally a part of him and badabing it worked out really well with scales. his other colors are like red and white cuz I wanted a sort of basic bitch rooster color scheme. most of the fandom bits come from the skin I made him so he's a bit more involved on the artsy side of things. the art of him afterwards became a literal interpretation of the sprite.

I have a lot more fandergs of course but that's more or less my thought process on designing them! I don't usually have any sort of standard for designs, it really ends up being how much I feel like putting in and how much do I directly want to interpret from a fandom source. sometimes it's very literal and other times it's like a lil nod or so. tbh, you can really make a fanderg out of anything since what you wanna see is entirely up to you. I personally think it's pretty fun to see how close I can get with just what the site has to offer.

I have two more fandergs I'm actually working on rn and am very excited to share when I get to it hohohehe

Can you tell us some stuff about your splatoon ocs?

OH BOY so ive been meaning to drop some stuff about them(even the oldest ones because they've got some updates boooi) but ive been too busy drawing squid and playing squid bideogame to write about squid do u get me

so UH ill use this as my excuse to do at least some rambling uwU (<- me before i wrote this whole fuckin thing) they're all around the same age (17-19) but their character arcs sorta start based on the game i made them for (does that make sense?)

i wanna get them all smth decent on toyhouse eventually but this will do for now lmao

okay so this post is long as hell its readmore time

so to start with the splat 1 crew who were around 14 when i first made them;

but first here's the post w most of them, for reference :-)

Fernanda is basically the focus point of everything that happens here. Definition of girlboss; she moves every plot point because she is bold and determined to reach her goals. Her main objective is the classic BECOME THE VERY BEST and for that she's constantly trying to assemble the perfect team; though the means to reach that goal are pretty flexible. She's pretty much feral in battle, and is what some might call a "tryhard" in-game. She does try very hard. Way too much sometimes.

-anyway the moment she became a legit kid who is a squid at 14 she started going to turf war bc it was always her passion. Additionally, the moment her Childhood Bestie(tm) Speckle reached the same age she dragged him too. Personally, he'd rather not get into that stuff because hes very timid and nervous and scared and- yeah, that- but he's willing to do it with a friend; specially Fernanda, whose secondary hobby is beating up people who are mean to him. Thats sorta how they met in the first place.

She is, however, very determined to teach him the ins and outs of turf war and challenge him to go out of his comfort zone. He likes using brushes because he's an artsy person, but since it's a mostly aggressive weapon type, Fernanda wants him in the frontlines with her. It's just strats guys she totally isn't also doing it just to spend more time with her friend :-) shhh

But he sorta sticks like glue and depends a lot on her for safety, which isn't really the best idea in her mind. SO to try to teach him to be more confident she eventually starts joining the opposing team instead.

Needless to say, Spec is terrified being in a team without her. Doesn't help that she's the enemy, either, even though she usually doesn't outright splat him when they eventually clash. She moreso tries to give him a lesson first. It doesn't work very well. And worse yet, at one point some annoying ass charger starts targeting her specifically whenever she gets close to the other side of the map.

...And that's Gabriel (but i just call him gabe) :) He sorta notices how this girl keeps going after the same guy over and over again and eventually went 'yeah okay thats enough' and just started giving Speckle some support. (wanna make a lil note here that this is based on an actual thing that happened to me in game; i ran out of ink in a fight and the team charger blasted them and we both went BOOYAH. ill never forget u bro)

So yeah spec being spec he glued onto gabe instead. fernanda was, indeed, very upset by this because not only she couldn't enforce her lessons anymore but also spec was just doing the thing she didn't want him keep doing in the first place. And dealing with gabe is like. very, very annoying. specially for her as a roller main. he's always camping at the same few spots and he pretty much always avoids confrontation of any kind; motherfucker just jumps back to spawn or to a teammate who's safe. He has not only an advantage in range, but also his aim is impeccable. it's terrible hes terrible

anyway spec, despite being timid, actually grows attached to people really fast. from then on, every time they spot gabe in the lobby he waves and invites him to join them. fernanda is very annoyed my this but eventually she actually forms some sorta friendly rivalry with him(instead of, ynow, her being motivated purely to kick his ass). she ends up inviting him to join her (to be) Perfect Team(tm) and they all start hanging out more and learning how to work as a group.

also theres this plot thread

its really just classic fluff n they end up dating like god intended

now there's like a big story gap here because, uh, it used to be some shared stuff with a friend but-- Yeah. im not sure what to do with that just yet. (..and its the big arc where fernanda has the most character development, strengthens her goals and improves herself. big gay shit too. bummer. 😔)

This gap extends all the way to the timeline of Splatoon 2, where they're all around 16

But lemme add some misc stuff that's happened since the first game tho; -Speckle has a new hobby, weapon customization! :-) he mostly does it for fun or for his friends, but occasionally someone comes up offering pay for it. he's not very confident about actually selling the stuff, but hey, he wasn't the one who asked for money. -Gabe learns to camp less but he gets tired real fast. -Fernanda and Gabe actually form a good and strong bond???? the rivalry is still there and they sometimes do 1v1 because she wants to get better at fighting people with far ranged weapons. -Actually, Fernanda's skill in particular grows exponentially. She's really giving it all she's got. Speckle might be less scared of going to turf alone, but it still makes him sorta nervous. -They move together to a lil place near Inkopolis Plaza because I don't follow real world rules (does a little dance) i will spare you of the somewhat underdeveloped socioeconomic hcs i made for this

OK MOVING FORWARD-

Splatoon 2 is the "Fernanda goes out scouting for a 4th person to complete their team and Spec befriends every single candidate" arc. It's what it says on the very specific tin. Just three of them won't do, and they have to get a 4th team member in order to start actually cooking some neat strategies because everyone has to be in on it.

They do turf and ranked matches and Fernanda tries to recruit the people who do best alongside them. In this process they meet Fernando, aka Fucco bc hes a fucker thats all there is to it lmao(though I have to mention Gabe is the origin of this nickname because he can't fucking stand Fernando; everyone else just sorta agrees because Yeah It's True), and through him they also are introduced to Roberta(bobby) and Orlando(orb!!!), who are his buddies and theyre just here to chill tbh.

When Fernanda rejects Fucco as a possible team member he is absolutely offended by it. So he rallies up his allies(see: his two friends) to clash against the og trio. Thing is, they don't really have much experience as a team. Bobby and Orb just sorta do turf casually, for fun. Fucco is the only one of them who is actually competitive and he just thinks great at it (hes average at best). He's always acting like they're the mean girls when both teams cross paths and tries to make up for his lack of skill with witty remarks, which, granted, is something he actually is good at.

He sorta starts pushing his teammates a bit too much to the point they're not really having fun anymore so they have to like stop supporting this for a moral lesson that he does not listen to and makes him feel betrayed so he gets upset at them. And then these battles devolve into just 1v1 between [chuckles] Fernanda and Fernando with everyone watching it like it's a saturday morning cartoon because honestly theres no contest here. This obviously makes him break eventually, and so Fernanda now is the one who has to break the moral lesson about idk fighting with passion, teamwork, actually accepting your own flaws and working around them and not through them, etc etc all that anime kinda stuff. Maybe throw something about the power of friendship there too just for flavor.

So while all these things happens, Spec is just being nice with the other team. He sometimes just stops mid-battle to listen to Orb rambling about something as he often does(yeah they just sit there but don't worry Gabe is always there to watch for whiny tryhards too), gives them a lil booyah when they do cool stuff, and always invites them to chill at the cafeteria when they're all done with their matches. And they do, although Fernando has a little uuuuuuh trouble with this. There's always a long exchange of threatening glares between him and Gabe and/or Fernanda. He's mostly only there because Orb is a friend he'd die for. and Orb really likes Speckle too.

Annnd yeah when this is all settled down and Fucco has finally stopped trying to be a nuisance these guys all merge into One Larger Group and he actually gets to join Fernanda's team in turf; not as one of them, though, just hanging out with them. It's all just shenanigans for them for a while after all that's done (-:

Eventually they meet MY BOY Michael aka Mikemas which is like Splatmas but with his (nick)name because he was 12 when he made that username. I switched the protagonist POV to him because, in case you haven't noticed, I just really love him. He's a little bastard who's got a significant following on the internet; he occasionally livestreams turf war(and other stuff) and has a BIG passion for music. Also makes funny short skits and other trendy type of content you'd see from an online personality. Speaking of online personality - that's all his sorta dumb egocentric attitude is. Though he is very confident, most of the dumb shit he says and does is mean to be a joke (see: "I don't need this, I'm an influencer" while being completely aware he isn't of that scale yet). Biggest highlights are the Calamari Inkantation ballad cover - the thing which usually makes people notice just how good his vocals are - and the "Now Or Never But Every Loop Gets Faster" video.

And then there's Manga, who I just got out of the afriendmadethis limbo because he and Mike go hand in hand. They live together and they're childhood friends who are, really close, not in a romantic way but in a way you'd probably think is. Manga participates in the internet presence stuff as well, he plays the keyboard and has a soundboard of funny sound effects for streaming :-) He's nonverbal, very quiet and deadpan most of the time but he's basically got the same sense of humor as Mike; they're very similar in a lot of ways that would make you question if maybe they're actually siblings? (they aren't) He's just less confident and less likely to engage in dumb shit; to the point he kinda has to act like a fuckin babysitter because someone keeps "forgetting" to take the medicine for their bipolar disorder and we simply can't let that happen so I guess we gotta fuckin suplex him to do it I guess. A lot of things need to have parental controls enabled because someone is very prone to addiction and keeps trying to play videogames for 24 hours nonstop without consuming anything but the hoard of iced tea they have in the fridge, which occasionally has to be locked also.

(in conclusion mike would've never been allowed to live away from his family if manga wasn't there)

Anyway yeah they meet Mike in turf and he's actually almost as good as he says he at it is so he earns the invitation to claim the honorable title of 4th member of Fernanda's team. ...Okay. It's more like. He's the one person who accepted it, I guess. And thus, Mike and Manga get to join their table at the cafeteria.

The last characters I made for Splatoon 2 were these guys, who never really got any development(or even names) until Splatoon 3 so I'm kinda pushing them to be for the Splat 3 plots I've been cookin'. And they finally have names - Vespa Gel, Roll and Viv.

So yeah now where we are, Splatoon 3 where everyone is 17-19. This is all still going on in the general area near Inkopolis Plaza, though we'll get to the mentions of Splatsville soon.

Mike was a very late addition to the team, so he isn't very well adjusted to the way they go about in turf and... He isn't really what we can call responsible, and is quite the chore to deal with. This bit of plot is mostly about several dumb conflicts between him and Fernanda because he keeps skipping practice, missing calls, and mostly acts independently instead of trying to work as a team. He is, however, a vital asset because of the skill level and comes in clutch very often, which is why he hasn't been kicked out of the team yet.

Now the stuff here is mostly still a mess so I'll get to some key points that happen parallel to that conflict--

-Mike meets Viv in turf and they bond a lot not just during matches but also afterwards bc Viv just sorta likes taking walks around the plaza and Mike tags along, initially because he wants to know when he could expect to see Viv in turf again because its good stream content and he just really likes going against people who match his skill bc it's fun :-) This sorta leads to them just hanging out a lot and meanwhile everyone at the table is just... sorta giggling quietly about how sus he's being bc of how he excitedly talks about Viv but he pushes back saying it's just some fun kinda rivalry y'now??? nothing to see here.

-Viv eventually has to stop hanging out bc he kinda is part of a gang that now kinda despises Mike. Well, Vespa, specifically, but the other two have goon brain so they gotta pretend they also hate him. They could hurt him in all sorts of bad ways because the boys r kinda unhinged, so Viv decides it's the best option to stop hanging out at the plaza(which is actually pretty far from where he lives)

-This is heartbreaking, of course, specially bc it happened right as Mike accepted that Yes, He Has The Hell of a Crush and sorta hits some insecurities he has.

-But right after he meets Sen, and they kinda have a relationship? One where they are together, but both don't really want to admit it? because theyre both fucking stupid lmao (jk its related to more serious things but yeah)

(this is where i pause bc im legally required to share a ref of him though i dont have a good and finished one so just take this)

-Sen is from Splatsville, he moved to Inkopolis alone to work towards a career goal by taking some extensive courses and apprenticeships. He is constantly overworking himself and being stressed due to it, but he really doesn't want to grow attached to anyone in Inkopolis because he is very deeply affected by separation. This move itself has been very hard for him, even though he still has contact with his friends back in the Splatlands, and he doesn't want to have to go through it again when he eventually goes back home. Well, that was the plan until he was forced to have a funny little guy who sticks like glue, as a treat :-)

..this is all I can confidently share for now, but there's a lil bit in the crock pot that I've been brainstorming because Splat 3 finally convinced me to take a dip on making the agents ocs. its THE GIRLS they're the ones featured in this post. i wanna do an alt story mode with them eventually but no promises since im bad at keeping my word LMAO

(small note i forgot to add, they are kinda connected to the main group bc they are sen's aforementioned friends they bully him on inkstagram)

(UPDATE) dear lord ive named them theyre Amber(Captain), Camellia(4), Elizabeth(8), and Goo(3) (<- but u say it more like its "gaw"). Lil' buddy is just lil' buddy but goo will occasionally call him cute lil nicknames when no one is lookin' so they do the fabled bABYTALK!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Lilith packs for her stay.

Chapter 3: Permission

As soon as she was done with her last slot of the week, she went home immediately to pack her stuff for her stay at the facility. Steve informed that someone will be there to assist her, but she didn't expect that person to arrive sooner than she thought. She barely had the time to locate her luggage before someone rang the bell. Bucky stood outside, hands in the pocket of his leather jacket, leaning on her door frame with a smirk on his face.

"Bucky? I thought Steve meant a staff member was coming or something." She stated, confused. Still, she invited him in and told him to make himself comfortable while she continued packing.

"I am a staff member. Plus, I volunteered. Do you need a hand with something?" He asks as he trailed her from the front door to her room before stopping just outside the bedroom doorway.

Without looking at him, she answered, "No, I don't have that much to pack. I pretty much wear the same thing everyday so it's just grab and go."

In her periphery, Bucky leans over her door frame to look into her room, and she had the sense that he was trying to get a read on her. It was unsettling.

"Bucky…." she said, "I hate it when people watch over my shoulders like that. Please sit. Ask me your questions instead of assuming things."Because, good God, have people been doing that a lot. Always reading between her words, treating conversations like social warfare.

"Sorry, doll, just trying to see if your room could tell me more about you. You have a lot of interests." He muttered as he roamed her room. She had a bookshelf full of books on one side of the room, though books weren't the only thing she had on it. Random trinkets of a variety of interests she had fallen into were carefully arranged in some places; crochet animals, sketchbooks, art supplies and a lot of zombie-themed items.

'Yeah, I guess I do. I can't really help what my brain likes." She replied, zipping up her luggage and taking out a smaller carry on to bring some books for her stay. Maybe a sketchbook and some supplies, too. She doesn't know how long she'd be staying.

"Steve likes to draw as well. Maybe you guys can bond over that." Her head tilted at the surprising tidbit about Steve. Had she known that earlier, her views of him would probably be softer than it was. She does tend to make better connections with people who share her interest.

"That's cool," she acknowledged, "and what do you like?" It is common courtesy to ask what their interests are after she told them hers,right? She read that somewhere before.

"Well, it's nothing like what you and Steve do, not the same level of artsy I guess, but I do like to take pictures once in a while."

"Oh, photography? It suits you. What do you normally shoot?" She loves photography too, not much in taking them, but they provided her with good references.

"Just nature. Buildings. Things I find pretty." He told her, voice quieter than normal, like he was trying to be humble. Maybe he is being humble. She felt it kind of endearing, actually. Passionate people are attractive to her. Almost all of her friends are people who had an obsession over very specific subjects, like role-playing and avians.

"No people?" She asked, eager to know more about him.

His eyes went wide.

"Uh, on special occasions." He replied.

"I have taken several photos of Steve, but they were—how do I say it—unsavoury."

For several minutes, her hands still as she tried to parse what he was trying to say. When she realised, he probably meant nude pictures, her eyes wide, mouth forming an 'o'. She doesn't judge what people do behind closed doors, but she never expected Bucky and Steve to have that kind of relationship.

"God, you probably think I'm some kind of creep now. I didn't—"

"No, I mean, as long as it's consensual, who am I to tell people what they could and couldn't enjoy?"

At her response, Bucky shuts his mouth mid sentence to recalibrate his next words.

"It's consensual, don't worry." He reassures her, raising his hands in a gesture to make his point clear. She smiled. Just a little quirk up on the corners of her mouth.

"Then that's okay. Are you—" she trailed off, not quite sure what to call whatever it is they had going on in between them. They seemed like friends the first time she met them, but maybe she's just bad at judging body language.

"Close friends, sometimes more." He explains, short. She assumed there was at least a deep emotional connection. While also fucking each other.

While she'd never had someone to call her significant other, or at least a friend with benefit, she understands relationships can be complicated like that. So she won't press further.

"I'm done. Shall we go?"

The ride back to the facility was quiet. It seemed like Lilith was not much of a talker, though she didn't really give him the vibe of someone extremely shy, just a healthy amount of it. She was probably more comfortable with silence. So Bucky's approach was just to ask her questions and if she wanted to share more, then he'd let her. Either way, he won't force her into anything.

"How did you find out about your powers?" He questioned her. She rarely mentioned it even in passing, which seemed weird to him considering it's the main reason she was there.

"As soon as I gained consciousness. So, when I was three?"

"That's a really young age to know you could do something like that. Surprised you handled it so well." And he checked—well, Steve did. Her records are clean. Not even mild destruction of property.

"I spent a lot of time at home. It helped." That makes sense.

"And what about school? I went through puberty a long time ago, but I know just how much hormones make us all wacky. Being a hormonal teen is one thing. Being hormonal and having superpowers…" is an entirely different category. There are hundreds of reports of telekinetic teens destroying buildings. And the stronger the power, the greater the destruction.

"Home-schooled through middle school, and I just kept to myself in high school."

It's really hard to gauge what she's feeling when she talks to him. She's not entirely expressive save for that smile she gave him earlier, one he will always cherish. Plus, her voice seemed a little…flat. Maybe he was being delusional when he thought she'd shown him interest before this. Shit. This was one of the biggest idiot moves—trying to befriend someone who doesn't want to be his friend. She's probably the way she is because of how she was raised, though, so maybe it'll be worth it to try just a little more to get her to break out of her shell.

"You don't talk much, huh?" He continued when they were stuck in a mini traffic jam.

"I don't. I like hearing you, though. Your…voice."

Fuck. she was all cold before, then she said something like that, like it's something people just outwardly say in normal conversations. An in?

"Yeah?" he smirked, leaning back a little to face her slightly. "What do you like about it?"

She seemed to make a show of contemplating. It's almost always like this with her. She'd take a moment before answering, as if she was doing some tough mental maths.

"I like the little rasp when you end your sentences. It scratches my brain in a good way. You'd make a good audiobook narrator." His eyes squinted, trying to figure out if she was flirting or if it was just a genuine compliment.

"See, normally when women say things like that to me, they're flirting, but I can't tell that with you." The hands on her lap stirred, and Bucky was just now noting that she was rubbing her thumb repetitively like she's nervous of him. And not the good kind of nervous, either.

"Shit. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. Next time I do that, you have permission to yell at me."

"Why would I do that?" She tilts her head as she asks him. Heaven above, she's impenetrable.

"So I remember not to do it again? I think I've misread you from before, I thought you were interested in me," he explained, laughing at how silly this all is.

"I think you're very attractive." Lilith began, halting his laugh in its tracks. Her hands move in a rhythm, floating a piece of lint in between them using her powers. It's like he was whiplashed. From one emotion to another, with every word coming out of her mouth.

"I just don't know how to show my emotions well. I'm flattered you would want to flirt with me, but I don't think it should extend to more than that."

"Can I ask why?" Bucky inquired, no longer able to rein in the string of curiosity. Lilith came into his life with the sole purpose of uncoiling it from its neatly arranged center.

"I'm…very hard to be with. I go days where I don't talk and days where I talk too much. And if I like something or someone, I latch into it like an obsession and forget that other people exist. Sometimes I hate being touched. Sometimes I require bone-crushing hugs. I don't want someone to think that they like me, only to find me too much to be with."

Too much. She said that she can be too much for someone. He emphatised to a certain degree, having suffered PTSD. But, more than anything, he wanted so much to be there for her and tell her that she would never be too much. He wished he was there to deal with the people who put these thoughts into her head.

"Lilith, I won't press if you don't want me to, but I don't flirt with someone I didn't already intend to make mine. And if someone's mine, I'll do whatever I can to keep them happy. If not talking for days makes them happy, then so be it. There are other ways to show someone you care besides words and physical touch."

She looked down again, picking at her finger, and Bucky wondered if he'd made his intentions too clear. God, he wants her. Want to learn everything he could about her. But he knows that what he feels is all too much too fast and that's not a good sign. He should talk to his therapist. The torrent of mixed feelings he's going through right now might be the very thing that spelled the end of whatever this is. Moderation. He needs to proceed with moderation.

"Okay then." Her words silenced his thoughts. He hated the way his cock jumped when she gave him that look she just did, like she's giving him a piece of her trust. "Go ahead, you have my permission to court me."

Ooooo Tup!! I’ve never done Tup. I’m not sure about the fanon characterization of him, but I’d see him as being soft, gentle, loving and needy (similar to how I’ve seen people write wrecker) but artsy and sensitive. A lil renaissance clone if you will haha ok here goes ☺️

You’re pretty sure no one will ever believe this happened. That you have the sweetest clone trooper you’ve ever met wrapped around you, in your own bed, on a Sunday morning.

After a long night out where you spent more time conversing with this beautiful curly haired man than you did drinking and dancing, somehow you both ended up back at your place, having more fun alone together than you ever could in public.

He was passionate, soft and attentive. The way no one would ever believe a soldier could be. He seemed different than any trooper you’d ever met. He was different. Besides just the long hair he’d finally let down for you to run your fingers through last night, he seemed more interested in the finer things in life. More than his brothers ever seemed to want to talk about.

You found out his name was Tup. He liked to paint and draw and spent any time off he had collecting ideas and inspiration for his next piece. His brothers thought he was nuts, he was sure if it. But he confessed how much he’d rather be holding a brush or a pencil than a gun. He was different. And you fell hard for him because of it.

You felt his fingers twitch on your waist as he roused from sleep beside you. He buried his face in the sensitive spot on your neck that took him only seconds to find and traced delicate kisses there with his tongue.

“Good morning mesh’la. You were…incredible last night.” He muttered, his hands trailing along the curve of my waist, but respectful enough to avoid any more sensitive spots without your permission. Even though you knew he wanted to go there again.

“Would you be surprised if I told you I almost never do this? I’m a bit more…refined than my brothers.” He looked into your eyes innocently, hoping you didn’t think he was the kind of guy who treated sleeping around as a game to win.

You grinned, running your hand down his jawline and blinking up at him slowly. “Not too surprised I guess. I’m glad I could help you relax. You deserve it.” He smiled at that, tipping his forehead to rest on yours. “Is there anything else you want to do while you’re here? I hear the female form is lovely to paint…”

He laughed, “let’s stay in bed a little while longer. I think I’ve got another kind of art form I’d like to work on today…if you’re up for it mesh’la…” With a face that handsome, you were.

Uhhhh lemme see

Natsu can cook but rarely ever does. He doesn't have the patience most times to wait for the food to finish and he cant be bothered with the clean up after so he just buys something to eat more often. But when he does cook, not everyone's gonna eat what he prepares. And it's not like he's a bad cook per se, it's just that what he likes isn't for everyone. He's really heavy handed with seasonings and spices. He doesn't even know wtf he's putting in there half the time. He just does a sniff test and if it smells nice its going on the food.

And the amount of pepper home boy puts on it could literally burn a hole through concrete which he forgets everyone else can't handle if he's attempting to feed someone. He's also a weirdo who likes meats slightly charred so sometimes he will deliberately half burn his food bcus it's tastier that way to him. Seriously why is he like this.

I am absolutely obsessed with the idea that any sort of domestic or artsy skill that exists Erza for some reason cannot do them. Sewing? Drawing? Painting? Absolutely not. Erza cannot cook even though she really really wants to be able to. No matter the amount of lessons or cookbooks or precautions what she prepares just always ends in disaster. She's not even a disaster in the kitchen! Shes very focused and clean and organized but no matter what her meals always flop. She's a great assistant tho, granted that she's under close supervision.

Gray. This guy, this guy. This is the guy you go to when you want a decent meal. He's no master chef by any means or anything but he has got comfy foods down to a science, his kitchen's always stocked because he likes cooking instead of getting take out most evenings and even though he's a meticulous recipe follower he has bouts where he goes off the rails and experiments. Rarely do those experiment meals ever flop either. Also as a side he has superb knife skills, very delicate and precise.

Listen, I subscribe to ex-rich kid Lucy, thus she can't really cook, not cause she's bad but just from lack of experience. She had very small handfuls of lessons when she stole away to the kitchens to be with the cooks and that was when she was a kid and thats for like really simple easy prep meals. But she's getting there! She's trying! She fumbles a lot in the kitchen cause cooking makes her a nervous wreck and gets burnt or cut a fair bit but it happens less and less! She still has a healthy fear of the oven and will not go near it after the incident but thats ok! She just needs to learn to be a lil less stingy with the seasonings and she's golden (Queen the seasoning won't hurt u. Just put more in there, ur tastebuds will thank you.)

Wendy honestly is a pretty decent cook all things considered. She always prefers using natural ingredients and getting stuff fresh from the source and very on about healthy eating (not to be annoying she just wants everyone to be in good shape). She's very good with herbal teas and has a sharp nose for ingredients so whatever she makes is that balance of healthy and tasty albeit with light flavours because she's really sensitive to sharp flavours. And even though the squad knows that she can handle herself well in the kitchen someone always sticks around in there with her in case she needs help with anything.

Carla is on par with Wendy in terms of cooking skills but with a leaning towards using more bitter flavours in her meals so not everyones a big fan of her meals. Not bad, it just takes some getting used to.

Happy can cook but isn't trusted around knives.

This turned out to be a super long post so I’m adding a read more thing :•)

If you want to watch all of the movies he’s directed, it might be fun to just watch them in order! Although maybe switch love streams and big trouble so that you end the experience with love streams…

If you only want to watch his more popular movies then hmmm… maybe faces, minnie and moskowitz, husbands, the killing of a chinese bookie, opening night, a woman under the influence, love streams? This is a mostly arbitrary ordering… not by worst to best or anything like that. It might depend on how you’re feeling too because, for example, if you’re feeling like something lighter and happier than you probably don’t want to watch something like awuti lol.

also just a random lil question but if vincent had a kid and s/o before bo did, do you think bo would be jealous? i personally think bo would want to achieve that before his brothers and would be a lil pissy about it 😣

To be honest with you, Vincent doesn't seem like the type to me to want kids. He had to live with the expectations of being the golden child. He's not a very traditional man. Bo and Lester look a lot like traditional country boys. Vincent is like in sweaters (in the south), with the long hair, and he's artsy. To me he just really seems the type where societies expectations for him about what it means to be a man, doesn't appeal to him.

I think he would have an SO yes, and if she was to have an unplanned pregnancy, and want it. Then Vincent would be on board for her, because he loves her. But it's not something he actively yearned for and wanted out of life.

I think that would piss off Bo because he does want that kind of life. So Vincent acting kind of neutral about all of it instead of being over the moon would annoy the shit out of Bo. Probably lead to a fight at some point. I think Vincent is the type to not feel like a father until the baby is actually born and he's holding it.

That's when the world just crushes down on the poor guy because now it's real, and this is his responsibility. If they didn't have the support system of Bo and Lester, I don't know if Vinny would be able to handle it. He'd probably have a small crisis after the baby is born which would lead to Bo telling him it's time to put his responsibilities in order and "be a man"

But then Bo would be a little softer and say "it aint like you got do it on your own anyway. We stuck together this long, ya think I'm gonna leave you high and dry just like that?"

Which helps bring Vincent back to earth a bit more. He plays the role he needs to play even if this is not how he expected his life to go.

It was that time of year, one of your favorites (besides the holidays, of course). You were absolutely overjoyed, but the other Avengers didn’t come close to sharing your apparent enthusiasm.

Sure, Valentine’s Day was a stupid, cringey holiday, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t have a little bit of fun.

So you sat on the carpet in the common area with stacks of colored paper, stencils, markers, colored pencils, scissors, and, of course, glitter.

It made no sense to people how you were so artsy and innocent when you wouldn’t even blink with hesitation to singlehandedly take on a group of thugs. You liked to think of it as your other self. When you weren’t on duty, you were able to completely let yourself go and be the kid you never really got to be.

Somehow doing arts and crafts helped take your mind off of things, though you had the tendency to easily get lost in whatever you were doing. There was a period of time where you even hung finger paintings in Tony’s lab.

“What’s that?”

You paused, feeling a presence looking over your shoulder. “Oh, hi, Loki,” you said, the familiarly soft scent of warm spice filling your senses. “What’s what?”

The curious god knelt down beside you.

“That,” he said, pointing at a shimmering bottle.

You laughed before reaching over and handing him the bottle. “It’s called glitter.”

“Glitter,” he echoed quietly, studying the bottle intensely. “What do you do with it?”

“It’s to make things fabulously shiny!” you explained happily.

“Oh,” Loki said quietly before chuckling. “You humans will never cease to amaze and frighten me.” He shook the bottle. “What will you do with this glitter?”

You were still preoccupied with cutting out hearts. “I’ll use it to decorate these Valentines.”

“Valentines?”

“Something you give someone you love,” you replied, motioning for him to hand you a case of markers and pens.

His brow grew puzzled as he handed you the case. “Who are you giving those to?”

“The team!”

Loki was ever so confused, pausing as he unscrewed the cap of the glitter bottle. “Th-the team?” he stammered. “You love everyone?”

“Well, not love-love,” you said. “You can only feel love-love with someone you really care about. Someone you can’t live without.”

His eyes grew curiously wide. “Do you feel that way about anyone?”

You bit your lip before letting out a shy, “No.”

There was absolutely no way you could admit you had the slightest crush on the God of Mischief. As you seemed to fascinate him, he seemed to fascinate you. He wasn’t who people said he was. Then again, the only person he was remotely kind to was you.

You decided to pivot the conversation to him to save you from further embarrassment. “Wh-what about you? Do you love anyone?”

Loki let out a shocked cough before accidentally spilling the glitter all over his lap, creating a momentary poof of shine. In the soft sunlight, you could see his pupils dilate immensely, almost like that of a satisfied cat.

You couldn’t help but laugh.

“What’s so funny?” he exclaimed.

“Nothing!” you giggled before grabbing a handy roll of paper towels, wiping the salvageable glitter back into the bottle. “Just never thought I’d be able to catch you off-guard like that.”

You were suddenly aware of his eyes on you. You stared up at him with wide eyes, your motions ceasing.

“You never answered my question,” you said, going back to work.

He chuckled. “Sometimes there are questions you needn’t know the answer to.”

Shooting him a pout, you went back to creating the Valentines.

Loki eventually jumped in and created his own, though he insisted you didn’t look until he was completely finished. There were moments where you tried to look over his shoulder, only to be threatened with a dagger.

“What do you say we go deliver these?” you suggested as you finished.

Though his back was turned to you, you knew he was rolling his eyes. “They’re mere mortals who hate the holiday you cherish so much.”

“You just don’t want to hang out with them.”

“Ah…touché…”

“They like you, Loki. I’m sure of it,” you reassured him, patting his shoulder gently. “And if they can’t see how awesome you are, then at least you’ll have me rooting for you.”

“I’m…honored?”

You laughed.

Loki turned around to face you, biting his lip. “Then I think it’s only right you get the first…what do you call it?”

“Valentine.”

“Yes.”

He slipped his Valentine into your hands. He created a somewhat smooth heart with many stickers (as per your suggestion) and glitter lining the edges. At the bottom of the heart, he scribbled in pen a messy “I love you.”

He rubbed the nape of his neck with a nervous laugh. “It’s nothing compared to the masterpieces you created, but –”

“I love it.” You looked at him with a grin. “I love it! Look at the glitter! And the stickers! And your handwriting is gorgeous! Loki, it’s –”

The god cut you off with a quick peck on your lips, leaving you speechless. Just as your senses were about to overload, he cupped your cheek, his thumb grazing your skin lightly.

“It’s you, Y/N,” he said. “I love you.”

“I…” You licked your lips. “I love you too.”

He smiled, eyeing your lips before stealing another sweet kiss. “I’m glad,” he said softly. “But I thought you said you didn’t feel that way about anyone?”

You looked away.

“Oh, you were lying?” he chuckled.

“Sorry…”

“Apology accepted,” he said as he stroked your hair. “Good girl.”

You quickly stood up and grabbed your Valentines, your face as hot as boiling water. “I’m gonna go give these out!” you exclaimed loudly before running out of the room.

Loki only smirked as he leaned back into the couch. He knew he had you wrapped around his finger.

And it was going to be so much fun to toy with you.

Appreciating the Range of Type 6, or, one stereotypical example, and three that aren’t.

I want to tell you about some type 6 ppl that I know in my personal life.

Exemplar #1: F. B.

Complete Stats

Wing: 5 p or cp: largely phobic – lots of safety worries, outright authoritarian follower personality Instinct: sp/soc Trifix: 613 - 6w5 1w2 3w2 (“The Taskmaster” or “The Middle Manager”) jungian: ISTJ / SLI-Te oldham: Conscientious & Aggressive Essence Type: Mars Temperament: Pure Choleric

What he’s like:

Not pleasant.

Every “strict conservative middle aged guy” stereotype in the book. Control freak, makes a mountain out of every molehill, sees the world as full of axe murderers, judgemental as fuck, horrible temper and yet completely impersonable, all his opinions are copypasted from right-wing news sites. When they say war is good he’s for war, and when they say war is bad he’ll be like “At least Trump did not start any more wars” without perceiving a contradiction. Despite this, he believes is very hot, principled and funny. He is none of these things. He puts people down nonstop. My knowledge of neurochemistry tells me that he must have emotions somewhere or he couldn’t function, but I ain’t ever seen a single one of those emotions. They’re all for his job and a few trusted mentor figures. And his mom. At least he loved her.

If you say anything he doesn’t like, he “throws the sofa out the window” as his wife once put it.

How he’s a Type 6:

Well, he’s pretty much every negative stereotype in a nutshell… other than distrusting his partner. But that might be cause hes sx blind, or cause the wife is big on monogamy & wouldn’t ever cheat.

The one positive trait of 6 that he has is that he does his research. Before moving anywhere he googles the crime rates and if you need a doctor he might find you the best one. But even that can be overriden by ideology (hydroxychloroquine!). And if you don’t take his exact advice, there goes the sofa out the window again…

And I guess the work ethic from all 3 parts of the trifix really comes through – he hasn’t had a single bad grade in his life and always keeps collecting new certifications, and will make sure you hear about it...

Exemplar #2: I.

Wing: 5 P or cp: pretty much an even mix of phobic and counterphobic Instinct: sp/soc Trifix: 614 - 6w5 1w2 4w3 (Would prolly call herself “The Big Pain” rather than “The Philosopher” ^^°) jungian: INTJ / ILI-Ni oldham: Serious & Conscientious Essence Type: Saturn Temperament: Chlor-Mel

What she’s like:

I’d describe her as serious, mature, discerning, focused and passionate about her friendships, if perhaps somewhat forceful at times, with a dry, sarcastic sense of humor.

Comes across like someone who knows what she’s talking about, with well-articulated points.

Often the Responsible Sibling, Designated Sanity Checker or Bullshit Detector.

Prefers to plan everything in advance in typical Ni dom fashion, even amusement part trips. Gets somewhat anxious without a future plan or shedule.

Often mistaken for a whole lot more sociable and confident that she really feels inside. (even I kinda bought it and got her whole darn trifix wrong on my first typing attempt, though that was when I was new to typology) She can act the boss act temporarily to get the situation over with, but she actually hates making decisions.

She does however have the occasional cute/pure moment where that lower function block comes out.

How she’s a Type 6:

She has saved our family from many a terrible restaurant by making sure to check the reviews. The preparing for all possible dangers is very 6, the acting tough outwardly when youre inwardly anxious, the intellectual problem solving & some tendency towards organization/responsibility/ “logistic” intelligence.

One online test she took gave her 5w6 instead of 6w5 but that’s probably just the ITxx-ness leaking in. I remember this one time we were discussing this artsy-fartsy theater play to which we’d had fascinatingly different reactions, and at one point I half-jokingly said something like “But does anyone ever really feel connected to others, or is that a myth?” to which she wrote, “[Name], what the fuck? Yes I do.” and then immediately deleted it. That’s more of a 6 reaction innit?

Nonetheless the wing does feature in significantly – for example she got very well informed about a lot of topics because she researched them to assuage a random survival-related fear, like, “How to make sure I have enough retirement money”

Exemplar #3: M.

Wing: 7 p or cp: largely phobic Instinct: sp/sx Trifix: 692 - 6w7 9w1 2w1 (Fortunately very much a “Good Samaritan” rather than “The Stockholm”) jungian: ISFP / SEI-Fi oldham: Sensitive & Devoted Essence Type: Lunar-Venus Temperament: Pure Supine

What she’s like:

Precious! Sweet, nice, good listener, friendly, gives all the best gifts. But also perceptive and good at understanding people, eg. mediating to the parents when one of the younger sisters is having An Emotion™ or winning the trust of problem children.

Unlike I. Who has some soc that helps her keep track of a larger circle of friends despite her introversion, M. tends to enjoy the closeness with her family and have just a few very close friends. Excellent friend material all around! The sx and Se also come out in enjoying art forms involving the body like theatre or dance.

She can be a bit shy, conflict-avoidant and occasionally a lil bit panicky though.

As a small kid she used to be super duper shy but then a wise english teacher encouraged her to play a big role in a play, and since then she’s a lot more confident and doesn’t let ppl push her around without limit, though she’s still a quiet, helpful person. There you see the difference that a good teacher can make.

How she’s a Type 6:

For one thing she moves and emotes faster than a core 9 would, and she fits the body language – big eyes that move around a lot, stands a bit lopsided, talks in a shrill voice on the rare occasions where we exhaust her patience etc. As a xSFx and a w7 she shows mostly the “warm, friendly, likeable” side of type 6. She also has a very 6-ish tendency to very frequently ask people’s opinions & feedback before making decisions. (the other fixes probably add to this)

Alas, she also has a little bit of of the fear/insecurity.

Also she has a social/care job which might be seen as 6-ish desire to serve the community.

Exemplar #4: J.

Complete Stats

Wing: 7 P or cp: largely counterphobic Instinct: sx/soc ?? definitely not sp first. Trifix: 638 - 6w7 3w4 8w9(?) (Shall she be a “Justice Fighter” or a “Kyle”? Only time will tell.) jungian: ISTP / LSI-Se ?? Oldham: ? some Dramatic & Serious, perhaps ? Essence Type: Definitely Mercury Temperament: San-Mel

What she’s like:

The first adjective that usually comes to my mind is ‘cool’. Sassy, energetic & a little bit tough, but also affectionate when she wants to be. (though in admiring way rather than a mushy one)

She says the coolest things, has a certain sly sort of cleverness, and an astonishly good poker face. Bit of an occasional prankster. Hilarious. Knows all sort of cool science facts. Avid gamer.

Not especially popular or over the top sociable, but she gets sad if no one pays attention to her a while. Will act visibly moody where ppl can see sad or worried and can catastrophize a bit in such situations.

How she’s a Type 6:

I first though we might be getting an ExxP type 7 since she was a pretty energetic child, but once puberty hit and independent thought manifested, she turned out a whole lot too reactive and ‘edgy’ for this, and more on the ‘moderate introvert’ side of things.

Since then the sisterly dynamic has been like one fluffy golden dog and 3 hissing black cats. Hissing Cats #1 and #2 are very proud of her, but cat #1 was forced to conclude that she’s probably not a positive outlook type.

Out of all the reactive types 6 fits best because she does broadcast group identity (like wearing merchandise of her favorite media and wearing buttons in solidarity with ppl she likes.) & has a big case of Big Sibling worship for M, I, and someone else who isn’t on this list due to being a 9. (a 4 or 8 might like their older siblings but probably wouldn’t constantly stress the admiration.), but she can also show lasting, pouty displeasure with authority figures who have slighted her. (Like that one time I went too far in teasing her...)

I’m just assuming the 8 fix because that tends to make 6s more bold, louder & more shameless.

Basically she is the “punk teen” type of 6. She can be a bit dramatic & over-the top but still come to her family on advice (even advice on pranks!) in ways that xSTPs of other enneagrams prolly wouldn’t.

She also tends to use self-deprecating humor in tough situations and deflects compliments to present herself as ‘ordinary’.

This may sound like I’m really getting down on my first example (I won’t pretend that I’m not) but the point in bringing him up is that the reason he’s like this is: He was subject to really bad parenting that put a lot of fear into him, there was no good parenting to teach him broader coping strategies, he lived in a crappy environment that crushed his dreams, in a sense ‘confirming’ those fears and making him double down, resulting in a person who is just always rigidly following the same predictable pattern or jumping from one automatic reaction to the next with very little pausing and thinking. That goes for the other types too: A ‘stereotypical’ person is a desperate person ruled by fear, who cant stop or soften up even for an instant cause they constantly feel this fire of threat under their arse.

A lot of descriptions say that 6s ‘Follow authority’ but most would balk at the notion – ‘I do the research!’ they might argue ‘I don’t just trust anyone’ or ‘I’m actually a rebel’. There is of course such a thing as denial that’s more like the extreme case.

But with a more average, functional 6 it’s not so much ‘obedience’ as that they just like to bounce their ideas off of others to get feedback, or that they feature in other’s viewpoints. So you might get someone who can naturally use feedback (something other ppl may have to learn first) or who is very considerate of others (which others might have to consciously remind themselves to do.)

Those are sometimes pretty good traits actually.

On the other hand this is probably part of what makes decisions hard cause they consider all these possible scenarios of how things might displease or cause harm to everyone involved.

Being able to naturally snap into Action Mode under stress looks a bit enviable from the outside, but I. assures me that it’s actually super stressful & exhausting, even for someone who doesn’t get to a point of just being unreasonably aggro at you.

Though even an extreme case like F.B. would probably claim that he ‘did the research’ even as he’s 1:1 quoting the Pope at you, and then saying that you ‘have to be respectful’ even if you don’t even believe in Christianity. Hence why you get a lot of authoritarians talking about “disrespect”. You didn’t “fail to obey”, you “disrespected the flag” or “hurt the feelings of the Chinese people”. Because they’re still trying or inwardly thinking that they’re doing the consideritation & considering other’s PoV thing when they’ve long since crossed from respect and consideration into mindless obedience, all while still thinking that they’re very sceptical and discerning cause after all they really distrust the other political party or whatever.

In a way you get this obsession with ‘mind control’ cause they’re not unaware of & very much looking to guard the blind spot. They’re adults trying to do adult things.

For example, if I voiced an opinion to F. B. which he didn’t like, his reaction was often to ask “who told you that”

That’s just how he seems to think opinions work, somebody tells them to you.

Makes one wonder how he thinks new opinions start.

Yeah - Nobody told me that. I concocted it myself in some corner of my head. And in the interest of objectivity, I should stress that you can also end talking out of your ass that way, if you’re not basing it on enough outside data. Making up new shit has more of a quadratic than a linear learning curve – at least with copying you get something semi-useful right away. In making up your own you might be really off a long time before you stumble on something useful.

Also, I was young at the time and it’s not wholly unreasobale to think that an inexperienced person might be duped. I reacted really badly in part cause he hit my own ego buttons cause I was of course proud of this epiphany that I had concocted by myself, and now he says (or so I perceived it, being sensitive to accusations of incompetence) that I’m too dumb to form an opinion, so of course I launched into full Obnoxious Reddit Dude Mode.

In I. It manifests more on a reasonable useful level like “Oh wait, should [young cousin] be on TikTok? I don’t want him to get sucked into some cultish BS.” which is at least something the parents should have on the radar/ warn him about even if they do let him use TikTok, because for all that it is vital for him to get his experience with independent socializing & experimentig with sel-presentation, people do sometimes get suckered into cults or goaded into unsafe tests of courage.

And in a sense… maybe they overamphasize it but to some extent they’re also simply consciously aware/ mindful of it. The rest of us are not immune to propaganda after all, solong as it’s presented in a way pleasing to our egos. Any type structure can become a ‘hook’ if you’re not careful.

How To Lose Your Tantous: Gokotai, Shinano Toushirou, Taikogane Sadamune

No collage/artsy thingy this time. This time, you are getting a meme. Warnings: None. I’m funny I swear

The three tantous known as Gokotai, Shinano, and Taikogane have been with you since the beginning. Kiwame or not, these three have stuck by your side since forever and you wanted to thank them for their work. So why not take them to the mall to relax????

The minute you announce that to the trio however, their eyes light up. Sada-chan is already half way out the door and trying to drag you along with him. “Let’s go! What are we waiting for????”

Shinano is a bit more calm but he’s also tugging on your arm, not as hard as Taikogane but enough to be like, “Let’s go! Let’s go! I want to see what’s out there!!!”

Poor Gokotai on the other hand is worried you’ll be torn apart and tries to get them to calm down. Sadly he can’t bring his tiger(s) with him on the day trip but he makes a shy request to hold your hand during the trip. Of course you comply because who the fuck wouldn’t want to hold Gokotai’s hand???????? My baby boi

Of course just as you lot are about to leave, you get accosted by KIkkou, Yagen, Ichigo, Micchan, and Ookurikara.

“If anything happens to my little brother master...well,” Kikkou would say with a smirk, a familiar red rope in his hands. It’s not that he doesn’t trust you or anything. But he turns to Taikogane and begins to lecture him, telling him not to give you a lot of trouble.

“You lot be careful. Do keep an eye on my brothers, general.” Yagen would say with a smile. You know he wouldn’t try to threaten you or anything.

“Come back safely!” Micchan would say, having packed snacks for all of you. “Most of all, enjoy yourselves!”

Ookurikara is the one holding back the tiger(s) from following Gokotai outside of the citadel. It hurts Gokotai to be away from them but if Ookurikara is going to take care of them they are in good hands. He won’t say much, he trusts that the four of you will be alright.

And then you lose Sada-chan the minute you arrive at the mall. Taikogane didn’t mean to disappear on you like that! He saw something shiny in the distance and had to follow it! Shinano was hot on his heels though, so at least you know those two are together.

Gokotai refuses to leave your side, still very much holding on to your hand. He swings your arms a little, flushing and stopping when you notice, then asking if it’s okay. If Taikogane and Shinano are back from their shenanigans, you and the other will hold both hands of Gokotai and gently yeet him forward like you do with lil kids!

At this rate you might as well get kiddie leashes for Taikogane and Shinano since they will immediately run off to do whatever the hell they want.

Taikogane will always be on the look out for clothing, trying to look cool and impressive. “What do you think?! Do you like this on me??? I think Micchan will like this too! Oooh maybe I should bring back some clothing for the rest of them! We all can match!”

Shinano loves it when you spoil him, giving you puppy eyes as he points at something, “Can you buy this for me, pleaseeeee? I’ll be good I promise! And I’ll help you carry your bags too!” and then you cave.

Say goodbye to your bank account.

Gokotai on the other hand is much more subdued, when he sees something that he’s interested in he will lightly tug on your sleeve or arm and shyly question, “M-May I go see what that is?” and point at the thingy, then of course he will run off. He won’t go too far, oh no, he will always look over his shoulder to see if you are watching him/if he can still see you.

If you, the saniwa, are short as hell like the rest of them, be prepared for heart attack o’clock, all day every day. It’s hard to see them within a crowd so you will have to shout for them all the time. Shinano is easy to see due to his red hair, Gokotai is smol as fuck so it causes some issues and Taikogane is...somewhat easy to see? Just find him at the most flashy and cool things in the mall, or whatever the hell catches his eye.

Bless everything if you are tall as fuck though. You can see them over everyone and they can see you! They will never get lost if they can see you over everyone! They’ll immediately run back to you and tackle you into a hug (Gokotai is slightly sobbing at this point but it’s okay, just hug him and don’t you dare let him out of your sight every again)

What kind of stores do these boys like? Well, Taikogane will zoom in on anything that catches his eye. Clothing, trinkets, books, games, shiny things, whatever the hell! You’ll have to follow him everywhere though. He gets distracted by everything and you need to keep him on track. Is that one kid who is suddenly found carrying 60 plushies because you turned your back on him ONCE.

Shinano is slightly more controlled than Taikogane but he will also go find things that catch his eye. He’s more into the clothing stories though, finding little jackets and sweaters his brothers could wear! He will want to spoil the younger ones (you and Shinano have to hide any gift for Gokotai though, he’s right there after all, and you want it be a surprise!) and Shinano loves seeing their eyes light up when they get their gift. Of course he might gave and give his present to Gokotai early. Other than clothing stories, I would say Shinano is into little figures. Animals, historical figures, worldly places, who knows? He likes collecting things a lot.

Gokotai will adore bookstores and pet shops. He’ll find new toys and stuff for his tiger(s) and will love to get them a little collar with a bell on it. He likes bells, he honestly thinks that they are nice. As for bookstores, Gokotai would immediately look for fairy tales and books about animals with happy endings. He adores books and even more so when you or someone else offers to read to him! Hell, he even comes into your office with a book of his choice just for you to read to him!

Lord help you if they have an arcade/gaming corner in the mall. Gokotai doesn’t like all of the loud stuff but is enamored by the plushies. He’ll stick close to you while Taikogane and Shinano are trying to kill each other in lazer tag - wait where did they go? Why are those two suddenly bowling? Get back here!

If you have a cellphone with you, be prepared to take pictures of the little ones every 14 seconds. They’re just...so fucking cute. It makes your heart melt and almost sob.

Someone probably mistakes you as their parent or elder sibling. Just to play around, Taikogane and Shinano will call you by a parental term and maybe you’ll start crying right then and there. Just maybe.

Snacks? Snacks. These boys burn through energy so fucking fast so the snacks that Shokudaikiri gave you guys are gone by the second hour of spending time in the mall. Off to the food court you go! They’re willing to try anything new really!

If you happen to have someone you are romantically interested in (especially if one of Shinano’s elder bros or Sada-chan’s bros/other Dategumi) expect these two will casually slip in (not too) subtle hints. “Oh he’ll love this, I swear! Especially if it’s coming from you!” “Oooo, maybe you should give this to him! You know...for no reason.” Gokotai is at least polite about it. “I-I think that this...would make a great gift for someone!”

Lord help anyone who makes one of the tantous cry. Gokotai tripped over air once back at the citadel and you were ready to fistfight God themself. If someone trips over one of your boys or like sneers at them, you will immediately roll up your sleeves and go to town. All three of them have to hold you back but even then it’s a struggle.

By the time you four get home, the car is full of package to the point Gokotai has to sit on Shinano’s lap and all three of them are dead asleep. You need half of the citadel to help you get these damn gifts out of the car and carry the boys back to their room.
