Hii, your art is so gorgeous!! I always wondered how you draw Exos head despite practice, do you have any tips on placing parts?

hello! thank you for saying so i appreciate it ^-^

as for tips, exos heads aren't too complicated once you break them down into their main shapes, they're basically skulls with certain planes smoothed out or added, and i find that image of them helpful to think about when looking at references.

my biggest piece of advice is to trace over screenshots of exo faces at as many different angles as you can collect, but the tracing should be in service to learning & understanding the underlying anatomy & design if you want to actually improve & not just rote copy paste. corey brickley has a great twitter thread detailing his method of blocking out the shapes of a reference image & adjusting them to suit his needs, you can easily adjust that method towards blocking out the different pieces of an exo face! here's also something old i made a couple years ago for a visual aid:

i also recommend drawing a bunch of cubes and cylinders from different angles, it eventually unlocks something in your brain that helps with perspective (something i am still struggling to master, but they really aren't lying to you about practicing fundamentals) c:

something else i've been meaning to do and just haven't gotten around to is getting myself a little plastic human skull, printing out different exo facial plates & making little cardboard cutouts i can stick on and take off, so i can have an IRL model to move around without breaking the bank for a 3D printer & going down that rabbit hole, but that's a project for when the sun is finally out past 6pm again & giving me its strength again lol

Hii! how are you? Since you are a fan of Tommy x Lizzie, could you explain to me what the point of that relationship is? Because I'm watching the show again, and I still don't understand how they started having sex again, for 3 seasons there isn't a single scene that indicates that Tommy has feelings for her, it was always his love for Grace. So the next episode after she dies, he starts having sex with her, and she's happy to tell everyone that they have sex, it seemed out of character to me, like it's something that Tommy wouldn't even think about, since he always sees her as prostitute, even when are they married. Thank you!

To be honest, I wouldn't really consider myself to be "shipping" Tommy x Lizzie. I find their relationship to be interesting, but in the sense of, "Wow this is really sad and tragic. Both are deeply flawed individuals that made a lot of mistakes and are currently stuck with each other." I don't actually see it as romance.

For Tommy: He has only ever loved Grace. He never truly fell in love with Lizzie. I think he still has sex with Lizzie because like you said, he sees her as a prostitute, even when she's left that life behind.

For Lizzie: It's unrequited love from her side. She loves Tommy and stuck with him no matter what. Even when he doesn't treat her well, she still stays with him, probably continously naively hoping he will reciprocate, but he'll never be over Grace.

- Considering my ethnicity, I can be considered pretty average tbh maybe 167 cm and a bit chubby but nothing on the extreme.

- For my personality, I can be considered the quite kid like not the mysterious one just someone who likes to keep to herself and just keep up a good appearance in front of professors/teachers. I can be very closed off like you can spit poison down my ears and I will not give you any reaction if I deem you to be unlikable. This often comes off as rude and at times I struggle to talk to others as well due to my high social anxiety (yes, I overthink A LOT). I fo not have that much friends either and it's a struggle when I have to talk to new people but I am pretty adaptable so if I am in a new place, I will just adjust to my surroundings without making any fuss. I hate when people order me to do something or just deem me unworthy due to their attempt at generalization. Besides that I am polite and will speak to you a lot if you're my friend and let you in about my life.

-For my likes and dislikes and interests. I am a writer here on tumblr as well as in ao3 and I like to do traditional art. In my heart, I am very girly like I love to dress up, I like make up, Taylor Swift, I love wearing heels and I do LOVE pink. In entertainment media, I watch and consume everything as long as it's entertaining let it be books, manhwa, Manga, anime, movies as long as the stories appeal me, I will watch/read it.

You were extraordinary to the Jujutsu world, had just graduated high school, carrying your id of special grade sorcerer, many tried to get in your good grace, only to be met with a wall, be a blank face or your cursed technique ── the ability to change your surroundings, creating an illusion for the receiver. You would take their distraction as a lead to sneak away.

Choso, newest member of the good guys club, found your abilities impressive. Still he, much quieter than you could ever be, ignored you. Not in a rude way, more in an understandable manner. He saw how others would try to run you down, how the high ups had futile attempts of commanding you, and many tried to use you. He thought, in his innocent mind, that you wanted peace, so he let you be.

Soon, that picked your interest.

Like an apprehensive cat, you approached him slowly. And like a comprehensible human, he found adorable how your presence had become constant. Always in the background, shifting your attention anywhere until it landed on him. He would smile politely, but would never approach. You did, and thank God you did.

You didn’t speak much, just telling him of a mission you both were assigned, before leaving the room right away. If it wasn’t for your constant search for him, Choso would think that you, like many others, saw him as his past ── evil, a villain. Somehow, he knew deep down you didn’t. That was enough for him to always smile at you.

Your mission was easy, he mostly talked with curiosity in his voice, asking about anything, and you politely answered. Until, you became more and more… normal. Even craving his questions.

Choso and you were in a park, walking along a river, when he said he had never seen a giraffe, he knew how tall they were, and their colors, but couldn’t picture it. For the first time, you used your technique on him, and also for the first time, you used it for good on someone.

Then, he asked to see butterflies, a garden of magnolias, and lastly, a dinosaur.

For the last, though, you decided to take him on a museum when you both returned home. A museum turned into a stargazing picnic, to a beach sunrise date, to a stabilized relationship.

Choso curiosity wont ever go away, that’s something you learn after showing him everything and experimenting most of it. This wonder, though, has shifted mostly to you. He finds you the most fascinating thing the world could ever had created, and it’s far from being only because of your powers. For him, they are just dust compared to your whole self.

So, with a shy expression, you show him your writing, your arts, your clothes and favorite songs, how tall you can get with your heels and how much you love pink ── to your astonishment, the boy that always dress in black, has taken a liking to it as well. Obviously, he likes because you do, but you will find some decorations with pink in his house and smooch his flushed cheeks right away.

i’ve been good!! super busy with irl stuff since my sister and i are moving apartments this month, so i’ve been booking a move in company and talking to our new building and stuff!! and something that made me smile was getting to see my bf and meet some of his friends and watch invincible together (side note i could talk abt that show a lot it’s goooooood).

also recently, moving apartments has been on the brain 😭😭😭. gotta figure out bedroom and living room measurements and stuff!! i’m rly excited abt the new place bc it’s got a gorgeous kitchen w lots of counter space, but the living room is a bit small. so lately i’ve been thinking abt what kind of couch to put in it bc our current couch is so small it’s almost comical (two people cannot sit comfortably and the seats are not deep, so we’re gonna sell it). but im overall excited about getting to decorate this new place and make the living room cozy!!

i’m hoping the change in apartment will help improve my motivation to be creative. the current one i’m in has very odd vibes bc it never gets direct sunlight, which is a larger problem than i thought it would be, so hopefully this change helps light the fire under my ass!!

i am currently very very obsessed with ArShi (kind of new to it but had watched the show in snippets when i was younger!) i have also admired SaMud and DevAkshi. I used to loveeee ArDi and was kinda engaged in the fandom back when it first aired.

i'm mostly here to reminisce about my teenage desi otps cos i couldn't back then and i'm nostalgic rn. most of my fandom contributions have been for the english media but it just doesn't feel desi enough ykwim? so this is a dedicated desiblr (sideblog) just for me and my growing and ever-changing desi interests <3

i know that indian dramas are very problematic and i also know that they have some of the most regressive tones and i don't support any of that just fyi. i hate most of them, and the amount of times i've cringed at some of the stereotypical themes have been uncountable. but, i still want to reclaim the redeemable parts that i enjoyed because being a mainstream english media consumer has kinda been feeling a little incomplete and i love the way things are changing, esp on ott platforms, the international exposure has had a positive impact on the quality of content.

i spent most of my teenage years with the notion that i hate these representations, but now that i'm older, i realise that it's not so black and white, that i could still love parts of these things without it becoming a reflection of me and my values. moreover, i dislike typical fem representations as that's something that i struggle to connect with (i'm averse to a lot of typical girly stuff) but i still want to be able to love the other feminine parts of me without the fear of being stereotyped or feeling misrepresentated.

i wanted to say all of that because i don't connect well with people who are ardent fans of indian tv since a lot of them don't notice the subtle yet problematic themes in the portrayal of these stories. i find that this platform has some sensible people who recognise these facts and yet show their love towards these stories! i'm just here to fangirl, share my opinion, and reclaim the elements of these stories/characters that i love without it becoming a huge discourse on traditions/mythology/religion etc.

he's genuinely concerned abt this girl that moved half way across the world that seems a bit adrift - he sympathises w her - when he moved to kalos he felt a similar way . so yea they are genuinely working together and have a mutual friend / acquaintance in serena ( seeing as she's part of the contest circuit as well ) but sometimes its an excuse to take her to cafes and touch base w her via holo caster and stuff . it eventually gets to the point where they're genuine friends and when she does open up eventually after however many months he's like woa this sad thing is actually full of whimsy and wow when she gets philosophical it's actually really endearing . she's sentimental ? and dreamy ? full of childlike wonder ??

they find out they're kindred spirits in a lot of ways ! lots of mutual pining - they don't acknowledge it at all or dare to entertain it ; marianne thinks he'd never see her that way ( esp w how lysandre treats her ) and sycamore doesn't want to muck up a friendship like this w the weight of a confession and what that'd mean for their dynamic moving forward . he knows she'd feel like death if she'd have to reject him . esp once the geosenge incident happens . the roles basically flip ! and it takes him a while to admit he's not ok . he's good at hiding it but she knows better . after a bit tho he lets himself be vulnerable and its then he knows for sure he loves herjdhs ;;

Last movie / Tv show: last movie i watched was The Cabin in the Woods (2011). that was wild. i don't even remember the last tv show i finished, i tend to struggle with committing to tv series. it might have been The Lost Symbol which is based on a Dan Brown book. i watched it with my dad lol. but I'm sure there was something since then...hmm.

Sweet/spicy/savory: savoury, for sure. i like sweet stuff but only in small amounts or i start to feel sick.

Relationship status: single. shrugs.

Last thing I googled: 'where to watch Tokyo Gore Police' LOL. i unfortunately can only find it with either no subtitles or pisspoor video resolution, although admittedly i haven't done too much digging yet. if anyone can help me with that... hi my replies/inbox/dms are always open :)

Current obsession: god i dont even know. i watched both Creep movies recently and uh. well those haven't left my brain yet. i mean I'm always thinking about Repo so i almost don't even count that anymore lol. and in a totally different direction, my irl friends and i have kind of been obsessed with Trolls since we saw the new movie, but that's dying out a little now haha.

Last book: last book i read was Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow. its a verse novel about lycanthrope packs in urban LA. i recommend! :)

Looking forward to: all the live arts i have booked lol. seeing The Front Bottoms with a friend in March! seeing Sunset Boulevard in June with my dad. Sarah Brightman has the lead role for that so..... yeah I'm gonna be real normal about seeing her perform live (blatant lie). Beauty and the Beast is in june too... The Grinning Man in April... hopefully Rocky Horror Show again, etc etc.

Hii!! I'm sure Jisung could work through his fear. I love penguins too. They're so cute especially baby penguin, oh my gosh baby penguins are the cutest. I hope you get to see one in real life. I don't know if all zoos have penguins. I know mine don't or would they be in an aquarium. I live right next to a zoo but I haven't been since like 2011 during a field trip. First we must find out where they keep penguins near you. Then find a way to get you there. Everyone has to see their favorite animal at least once. My favorite animal other than cats are Hamsters, I love hamsters I almost cried in the pet store when I saw them and couldn't get one cause I don't have room for a cage. I mean I could clean out my closet and get a 40 gallon tank. But it'd be hard to clean in there. But till you can see penguins in person here's some pictures of penguins I found for you.

hii, tbh I haven’t really formed that much of an opinion on him, but I guess there are two sides to look at him (that we maybe get some insight on in s2 if that’s still coming). so he either has some sociopathic tendencies (idk if that’s the correct term) and is just a douchebag and he actually enjoys the kills and stuff not just because of being a Hyde and him being manipulated.

or it’s all part of being a Hyde and that a traumatic experience set something on off in him and that he isn’t actually himself? which ofc irl doesn’t excuse murder or anything but it could be an interesting take for his character. so yea tbh I’m not sure yet, maybe he gets a redemption arc maybe he doesn’t, we shall see :)

to me, if you’re like “oh i could never see a bts member doing [this]” thats understandable because we’re talking abt irl bts and whatever behavior they’ve decided to show us, that’s what we know them as. we’ll never know them 100%, how they are behind the cameras (even tho im convinced shows like bon voyage and in the soop show us exactly how they are 😭😭 i don’t think they’d pretend to be someone theyre not for that long djfjdj) but they still decide on what they want to show us and what not so obviously you already have an idea of what you think each of the bts members are like

my problem when it comes to fanfic is when people continue to push those ideas, what YOU THINK you know abt them and it ruins your perception of how broad their fanfic range can be when you’re really not supposed to associate fanfic bts w irl bts, if u get what im saying?

like i have no problem imagining a fanfic ver of namjoon as a mafia boss or as an indie artist. or as a retail employee at a part time job or a rich ceo or as a kindergarten teacher because that’s just imagining him as a character, as fanfic should

all i wanna say is don’t associate real people n their behaviors with fanfics 💚 if that’s not what ur doing then it’s not directed at you !!
