@personasintro — love love love her ideas and thought processes of her characters and circumstances. like she can take the most basic concept or trope and add such an engaging story that its got you on the edge of ur seat the entire time. mimi is one of the reasons i got back into writing after years of ignoring my notes app

@alphabetboyluvr — an actual MASTER at her craft like her writing is LITERAL poetry shes so gooood like the wordplay and everything. there are lines that i read and just gasp at bc of how smart and poetic they are like im not even joking. and not to mention holly is such a sweetheart! <3

@hamsterclaw — very distinct writing style and very very simple yet easy to envision and just as easy to read. usually writes one-shots so ive skimmed through the masterlist and read almost everything cus its so quick and refreshing to read !

@ugh-yoongi — another poet and just an incredible writer, really has you feeling for the characters and imagining everything the story is describing and telling you. so easy to feel like you’re actually in the stories

@jiminrings — no one and i mean NO ONE does angst like this author right here like im not even joking if you love angst you haaaaave to binge this author’s works like an actual sick genius right here. one of the first authors i found on this account and they’ve inspired my own works so much. banger after banger

@jknoah — such interesting concepts not to mention so fun to read and makes u think abt the story cus noah likes to tease with flashbacks n lore n just swinging you into the story headfirst ANDDD i just love noah like thats my bae.

as an author that’s also a woman of color, this is why i never describe my reader’s hair, body, skin complexion, etc

how hard is it to describe blushing as “cheeks heating up”??? how hard is it to just… not comment on hair? instead of “tucking hair behind ear” or “running fingers through your hair” just say “he grazes the shell of your ear” or “plays with the earring in your earlobe” like it literally isn’t any different and you don’t paint your reader out to have specific hair texture.

if you’re going to write your story using “you” pronouns and describing it as a READER fic, then make sure the appearance of reader is as vague as possible!!!!! might as well just create an original character if you’re gonna be describing what you think reader should look like

it’s so messed up. genuinely fuckin irks me when i see like a moodboard or teaser pics for a reader fic and there are pics of skinny white women in there

why are you contributing to these wack ass beauty standards? just give your character a name and make them an original character instead if you have a specific image of them

Its so hard being a black women who likes fanfiction. Like there is just still so little representation. Even when things are “reader” they are coded for white people.

No one is running their fingers through my silky hair. Or brushing hair out of my eyes behind my ear. I have an afro and when I dont its in twists. Also, black women dont really let people touch or play in their hair.

I dont have pink nipples.

I dont blush. My skin will not turn red no matter how hard Im blushing.

jungkook and you cross paths every now and again, like right now when you’re sitting in taehyung’s small studio apartment watching the two of them play call of duty: black ops on taehyung’s small flatscreen

you’re seated on taehyung’s bed, back pressed against the headboard and you’ve got a view of the back of their heads as they’re sitting on the floor at the foot of the bed

“dude, how did you miss that?” jungkook groans loudly, his head thrown back in disbelief

“that’s the same person that killed you 20 seconds into the game! they’re just good.” taehyung wants to defend himself but they’re both being a little too loud and taehyung has already got several noise complaints

UNFORTUNATELY you have to be the rational one.

you have to remind these annoying fucks about the neighbors every 10 minutes.

i have massive end-assignments coming up that i only have a month left for. (hiatus until end of january)
