young trans girl here turning 18, how do you deal with height issues. im really tall like 6'5 or over and it really hurts right now i just wonder if it gets better.

Hello, A saw would cut down on the issue....... I'm just kidding Hun. Oh how I wish I was 18 again. Well I'm 5'10" and I never really let my height bother me. I'm not completely sure why. I immediately went out in public in late 2005 once I decided I was no longer going to live by patriarchy's dictation. My confidence level was sky high and I think that confidence shown to anyone who seen me and they just thought I was another cisgender woman. So I had very little issues in public even in rural WI. I even hung out in a biker bar in Portage. I remember thinking, would my height give me away. But I always thought of the many cisgender women who were taller than I, and felt if I didn't dwell on it and just was myself it wouldn't be an issue. And it wasn't. Granted when out and about with daily activities I never wore over 3 inch heels. Saved the 4 and 5 inch for clubbing or special events. I never seemed to get clocked. Something else that changed without me realizing was the was I walked. I was told I had a wiggle! So, I had to ask some friends, Do I have a wiggle when I walk. Yes, you have a wiggle. What? Really? Where did that come from? Apparently that was something I was always keeping forced in trying to live as a guy and once I gave myself permission to be me, out came the hip wiggle! I felt lucky that my voice is more gender neutral so that helped as well. I know you are like 7 or more inches higher than I, which does make it a bit more difficult as the taller one is, the easier for others to see you. I guess my advice would be not to wear heels or only short heels. Other then that just be confident in yourself. I know that's easier said than done, but it truly makes a difference. With confidence you tend to blend into the crowd more easily. Present the best of how you wish to be viewed and don't pay much attention to others around if you catch someone looking in your direction, unless they or the situation looks dangerous, of course. In other words don't give them any reason to continue to look, like acting sheepish. Just continue on with your business as usual. You want them thinking, "Wow, she is a tall woman, probably a basketball player", or whatever. I'm not sure If I've been of any help. I hope so. I wish you the best Hun. They tend to hide their "bad" feelings such as anger and sadness because they got mentally ab*sed/bullied.( •᷄ - •᷅ )

So when they're in a bad mood they'll isolate themselves with others and ignore others if it's possible. Their s/o just doesn't want to hurt others emotionally or physically especially their love ones.(||￣ㄷ￣)/

There's one time I ignored my friend because they said something that really upset me, so I ignore them and give them silence treatment for days until that one time she beg for me to talk to her and I felt kinda bad, so I slowly try to slowly talk to her but with less words because I don't want to hurt her. Then slowly, we became normal friends to bff. <3

Xiao, emotionally unavailable as well, understands your need for space. He'll wait patiently until you're ready to talk, offering you his hand to hold until then. He'll never pressure you or force you to talk about what's going on.

He reassures you that he's there for you when you are ready to talk and that if he's upset you in any way, he'll change his actions for the better because he loves you. He understands more than anyone what you're feeling, because he feels it too.

When you do come out of your rut, he listens intently, never passing judgment and tells you how proud he is of you and that it's okay to need space sometimes. He'll be there for you regardless.

He gives you all the space you need. While he may be mildly annoyed, he still respects your wishes saying that he'll be here when you're ready to talk, even if it takes forever, because he loves you. You being upset trumps his annoyance any day.

He grows anxious, but doesn't show it. He's worried about you. He wants to pressure you into talking, however he'll respect your boundaries. While he can be rude some days, on days when you're feeling like this, he's quiet and just stays by your side in silence.

While it may take some time to speak up and formulate words finally, he listens, his arms folded across his chest. When you get like this and finally talk, he tells you often that it's okay; he gets like that too, and at the end of the day, he still loves you.

Childe

He's one to try and make you laugh. Cheering you up is always his main prerogative. Even if you want space and don't want to talk, he'll always makes it his duty to, at the very least, cause you to crack a smile until you can no longer stay silent.

He hates seeing you upset, and it makes him anxious, but that doesn't stop him from getting you to talk about what you're feeling. He won't pressure you into talking right away, but he at least wants to see you happy again.

After your laughs, you finally fall silent and tell him what's been upsetting you, and he listens with a nod, offering you his arms to hug. His warmth and cheerful demeanor calm you down and you finally feel much better.

Eugene x Reader

Warnings: Panic attack scene, angst

You wandered the halls of the school with Eugene. It was getting a bit late, so you wanted to wrap up this night patrol and get to sleep. As much as you did love spending time with your crush, you were at a point where you weren’t sure what you two were at all. And honestly? You were too afraid to ask. So, the two of you leisurely strolled down the hall. Your eyes droopy from exhaustion, you nodded along to his jokes. You yawned when he suddenly stopped.

“Y/N, did you hear that?” He whispered. His tone had changed from goofing around to incredibly serious. However, it went unnoticed due to your sleep-deprived based delirium.

“Hear what?” You groaned, stretching your arms out. Eugene’s attention snapped behind him. He grabbed your wrist and pulled you into the nearest room. He looked around for a decent place to hide when he realized he had rushed into a bathroom. The blond cursed under his breath before shoving you into a stall and clamoring into the next one over. 

“Stand on the toilet and lock the door,” he whispered. You were slightly more alert at this point, and followed his instructions.

“Are you okay?” You whispered, peering over the top of the stall to look at him. He was shorter than you by a mere two inches, so you did actually have to look down at him a little. Then, instead of answering, Eugene put his finger to his lips to shush you. A few minutes of silence passed. 

“We’re good,” Eugene said, hopping down off of the toilet. You were about to follow suit when your foot slipped and landed in the bowl. Thankfully, nothing was in it aside from clear water. However, it was still nasty. 

“Gross…” you muttered. 

“Did you seriously get your foot stuck in a toilet?” He teased as you tried to pull your foot out. After a couple of tugs, you triumphantly freed yourself.

“Maybe.” You replied as you walked out of your stall like nothing had happened. You poked your head out through the door, scanning the hallway for zombies. You saw nothing, and beckoned for Eugene to come out. The two of you strolled through the hall back up to where the classrooms were. You were both as silent as you could possibly be. Eventually, you passed an open room you didn’t recognize. It looked awfully grotesque.

“Is that blood…?” you asked, referring to the dark substance splattered across the walls. You were starting to feel sick to your stomach.

“No,” Eugene said, nudging you forward. He didn’t want you to see that longer than you had to. He could tell how nervous the sight made you. As you walked away, images of your parents flashed through your brain. You stopped in the hallway, frozen. Eugene was calling your name, but his voice was drowned out by your heartbeat. It had been awhile since you had these thoughts, but you became incredibly anxious. What happened to your family? Your pets and siblings? What about your friends from school and the neighborhood? You were so deep in panic, you didn’t notice you had crumpled to the floor. What brought you back to the present was Eugene’s arms wrapping around you. He held you against his chest, letting you ride out your emotions. After a few minutes, your breathing slowed, and you could see again. You were leaning against Eugene in the middle of a hallway. You turned to look at him. He had a soft look in his eyes that you were unfamiliar with. 

“You feeling any better?” He asked. You wiped your eyes and nodded. What a horrible feeling. You leaned into Eugene, wanting to stay comfortable like that for as long for as long as you could. Eventually, he pulled away from you.

“We should get going, yeah?” You nodded in response. He stood up first before holding his hand out. You reached for it, letting him hoist you up. Eugene gave you a soft smile before shoving his hands into his pockets. He strolled down the hallway, not waiting for you to catch up. You felt cold without his arms around you. Empty, almost. You awkwardly jogged to catch up with him. The two of you were silent on the trip back to the classrooms.

After having met in 1C with the others, you all disbanded to get some rest. Eugene hadn’t said much to you during the meeting. You paused on your way to your room, turning to steal a glance at him. His door slid shut as you did so. You sighed and walked to your classroom.

“Goodnight, Y/N,” Ethan called. You bid him goodnight. You stopped in front of your door. The events from earlier briefly played through your mind, as if it were a movie on a screen. You turned around and trudged over to Eugene’s room, only giving yourself about 3.07 seconds to think this decision through. The door slid open after a couple of knocks. 

“Why have you been ignoring me?” You asked, not even giving Eugene a chance to say anything first. He stared at you blankly.

“What?”

“Why? Have? You? Been? Ignoring? Me? It’s a simple question.” Eugene scratched the back of his neck and looked to the floor. 

“I haven’t been ignoring you.”

“Bullshit. Ever since I had my…incident…you’ve been avoiding me. You’ve barely said a word to me.“ Your eyes stung with tears. "Why?” Eugene’s gaze fell back on you. 

“It was hard. Seeing you in such a state of panic and hopelessness. I couldn’t do anything to help you, Y/N. I wanted to protect you. But there was nothing I could do. It…it just sucked, yknow?” He wiped his face, avoiding eye contact at this point. Your demeanor softened. You stepped closer and took Eugene in your arms. 

“I’m sorry.”

“No, you shouldn’t be apologizing. I shouldn’t have been a jerk. You needed me and I just abandoned you.” There was silence after that. The two of you just stood in the doorway hugging each other. After about five minutes, you had a realization. Your head was buried in the crook of his neck. 

“I think I’m in love with you…” you mumbled. 

“What?” Eugene was shocked. He wasn’t sure if he heard you right or if it was just his imagination. You pulled away from the embrace to look at him. 

“I think I’m in love with you."

"I thought you might appreciate these. I brought them from home." His hands were full of crystals. Each shining with both a dozen colors, but at the same time just one. "I still haven't shown you the caverns, but these were just a few I could take to show you." [It's been a while, hello.]

Bartz’ eyes shined as he noticed the beautiful shiny crystals before realizing his dear friend Blot was here greeting him with a gift, he grinned as he gives a big friendly hug.

“Blot! Long time no see! how have you been and thanks so much for the gift as this is really nice of you, I found this and thought you made like it.”

He spoke as he got out a crystal shaped like a heart, gently giving it to his shadowy friend.
