I made this blog mainly as a place to store art + memes for my fandoms and doodles of my original stories. I’ve posted a lot of the former, but none of the latter, so… Here you go? Have some goofy “incorrect quotes” inspired jokes of a project of mine called The Name-Oath.

Context is indented and italicized, but you can probably read through the doodles below without getting too confused if you skip it:

The first half of the actual plot is your standard fae romance starring a human woman who doesn’t realize the male lead is a supernatural creature, and just thinks he’s really into cosplaying alone in a mansion in some freaky forest. The second half is rom-com shenanigans between the divorced human woman and male lead after the world's ugliest breakup. He desperately tries to get back together at every waking moment and she just wants to hang out with her bestie Summer and raise her half-fae daughter in peace. The human woman is named Eglantine, but goes by Egg. She got stuck with the nickname during high school and decided to start going by it in an effort to have a more "average" sounding name. This did not work as intended, but it certainly helped her avoid getting her name stolen when she first met the male lead. She's something called a skipwitch. This is a whole worldbuilding thing I'm not going to get into here. The male lead is named Kieran. He is a drama king. He spent several centuries under magical house arrest. He can talk to rats. He has pretty hair. This is all you need to know about him, except maybe the fact that he's royalty. Summer is Egg's best friend, and she is the resident fae expert in her and Egg's coven. Competitive and protective of Egg. She hates Kieran's guts, and the feeling is mutual. Egg and Kieran's daughter is named Violet, but she goes by Froggy. She is a terrifying force of nature by virtue of being the offspring of a skipwitch and Unseelie prince. Enjoys microwave pizzas, her pet beta fish, video games, and getting her way. Alois is Kieran's invisible butler. He's a surprisingly talented singer.

Hi tumblr, it's been a good few years.

That's Lottie, one of my kitties. The others are Sid and Nancy. I live with my husband in the UK and I am 30. I'm officially diagnosed with bpd but it was diagnosed by a psychiatrist who saw me once in hospital for 15 minutes when I was at rock bottom, I no longer fit the criteria but I do fit the cptsd criteria so I'm doing EMDR. I sometimes trauma dump online. I lost a son via tfmr and I might grieve forever. Also have adhd that didn't get picked up on for a long time because this country's health system sucks and it was less noticeable when I was young.

I was finding cptsd groups on reddit helpful but I got banned for 3 days on reddit for saying in a private message to a friend of several weeks I'd made on there that I was at a party over the weekend where someone drunk drove, another was racist, all the men were rapey and belong in a wood chipper. Again, this was in a PRIVATE message. So I deleted the whole account and moved over to here because that place is becoming worse all the time. So hi!

We like to travel, especially to the US national parks and road trip around the country. We do visit other countries too though of course. So I'll often post photos from our trips, or just our cats. Sometimes I'll open up about my life, because it's been worse than most people can imagine.

I love music, all music, right now though I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan, which is unusual because my last main genre was folk punk. I think you should just love what you love and that is enough.

If anyone wants to chat about anything my inbox will be open :) now I just need to find some good blogs to follow and remember how tumblr works! Maybe if my tags interest you then you could follow me and I will follow you back? No negativity though, I can't be bothered, it isn't my job to debate you or change your mind these are just my opinions and the whole reason social media is so bad for our mental health is because people will say the nasty shit they wouldn't say to people's faces.

trying to find a way to explain how Weird my music taste was throughout my entire childhood/teen years only to realize it's Weird in Norway Specifically, but actually perfectly normal and acceptable in the czech republic. it turns out i am Like This because i've been listening to folk music + blackmore's night every time my mom drove me anywhere, and because some family friends gave me copies of The Best Of Enya and Mike Oldfield's Millenium Bell at a formative age that i promptly absorbed into my soul. i'll be like "huh nobody in norway seems to have any clue who mike oldfield is????" and then i'll hear moonlight shadow play on the radio at the hair salon in brno and i'll be like OHHHH OKAY I SEE. i am not at all in touch with contemporary czech culture and i have no idea if my mom's friend circle were the cool kids or not but i guess that's the music culture i inherited!!!!

So I took that "are you autistic" test and got a, "you might be, but you also might not be?" score. Which like, I don't think I'm autistic.

I think I got a high score because I've got epilepsy and ADHD. I don't like routines changing because then I'll lose stuff or forget what I'm doing bc my short-term memory is terrible.

And yes I want to tell you all about the thing I'm interested in! Yes I want to hear what you're interested in!

No, I do not want to hear about the popular comedic TV show, because most comedy these days is kind of punching-down humor? And as a weirdo, watching a tv show that laughs at weirdos just isn't that funny to me. Like, the Office? Laughs at weirdos. 40 Rock? Laughs at weirdos. Not funny to me, a weirdo. I do not choose to be laughed at.

(However, I would love to hear more about squid, or your rock collection, or urban guerilla gardening techniques in low-rainfall areas.) /rant

But it DOES explain why I get along with autistic folks well. We have similar brainweird needs! Let's make plans for two weeks out so we have time to prepare, and find places to eat that we can both enjoy!
