even doubt can be delicious
Helena was coming home from Paris, and Alice hadn’t left her flat in a week.
Not entirely true, she vaguely reassured herself, thumbing her lighter to get a flame going against the end of her cigarette. She’d gone to make sure Ulysses wasn’t dead. And Nathan. And just last Thursday she’d been manhandled into a waiting car and brought to a dingy flat in the east end, where a man was using a very expensive tie to create a makeshift tourniquet. She still had the bruises on her upper arm from where more force than necessary had been used to get her to move more quickly.
But it didn’t feel like leaving the flat, not really. Ventures out, even to the shop, felt like pounding the pavement of the same endless circle she resided in, looping back to her same front room, her same kitchen, the same empty spaces that she felt more and more like a ghost in. Like they’d already killed her, and she’d just kept right on working regardless.
Her fingers shook slightly as she brought the cigarette to her lips. She closed her eyes. Took a deep breath, and released in slowly. When she opened them, her hands were steady once more.
Helena is coming home from Paris. That was what mattered just then. If she compartmentalized things, it helped, she’d found. Nothing existed outside of the current moment, the current problem. Everything else would be dealt with when it came.
Her calm was her defense, and she wasn’t going to let it be shaken by anything less than a true disaster.
The sound of the front door opening had her snubbing her cigarette out on the brick, and heading back inside from where she’d been standing in the garden. “Better have those pastries out where I can see them, or no entry,” she called out towards the front of the flat, slipping off her sweater and hanging it on the hook by the door.

Shaved or natural?
In between. I do a bit of grooming around the edges. No one likes an un-pruned bush.

"Thank you," Sherlock hissed as the pair moved swiftly into Helena's dressing room.
=============================
A complimentary box ticket to see Wicked had arrived at Baker Street via courier that morning.
I told her I didn't need payment.
Sherlock shook his head as he examined the envelope ,
High quality paper but creased along the edges. From her assistant then. Who carries them with her. Usually used for more sentimental fan mail then. Those lucky few that actually get a personal response.
Using his knife he cut the top of the square and pulled out a single piece of cream paper. Dark green ink formed beautiful script across the majority of the card.
Written by the witch herself then. An honor. I shan't attend.
Still as the day went on he thought about the ticket several times. Even going so far as to find himself playing with the paper, flicking it between fingers.
Rude not to go I suppose. She was certainly one of the most intelligent clients I've had in recent memory. Very capable as well.
Wrapped up in an experiment he didn't slip into the private box until the interval and while the plot was hardly engaging he did enjoy seeing Helena, in all her green glory, work the musical scales.
After the performance it was the work of a single smile to get backstage but that's exactly where Sherlock lost control of the situation. Suddenly confronted with a mass of blue tulle and a woman the consulting detective identified as Helena's co-star, he was unable to get away. The blonde woman simpered and fawned over the famous hat-detective and if he'd been more familiar with her character Sherlock may have appreciated the similarities playing out before him. As it stood he froze and the woman took over, touching his arms, trailing her fingers up his neck, and toying with the hair at the nape of his neck.
Seeing Helena approach he tried to save the situation but the actress easily read the utter terror in his eyes. Laughingly she took charge, saying, "Sorry darling, he's mine already," as she led the consulting detective away.

Secret Lover
Describe someone you lust after. No names!
Well like most people I'd say that I have my fair share of "celebrity crushes." So someone I secretly lust after?
He's got a thick beard and trim hips. A fairly well built chest and moderately flat stomach. He dresses in a pretty nondescript way but it only serves to make me wonder what he looks like without his suits.
His sarcasm is what I really lust after most though. His wit always impresses me.
You've got plenty of opportunities to see him on your telly so I'm sure someone could guess his name!

are we not entertaining enough for you 5-12
Clearly not.
5. Oh this is difficult. I bounce back and forth on my favorites. Right now, I have to say it's hands down Victor Trevor's since feeling is first.
6. Grammar. Please capitalize things. Also believable characters. While I think it's fantastic that you're 22, a model, a part-time scuba diver, ninja, and gun for hire... oh wait no, that's right, I don't think that's fantastic, I think that's impossible.
7. I prefer cracktsatic threads with Ang at 2am I prefer long-form paragraph threads that allow me to work out character development and create a story with a partner.
8. I'd totally love to be friends with Sherlock. He might enjoy me following him around and saying "fantastic" for a bit but I don't think he'd want to be friends with me on the whole.
9. Answered.
10. Answered.
11. Sherlock is the most major of any major character ever. I'd love to say no it didn't affect me at all but Kels would totally call me out on that shit. Yes, it totally affected my decision.
12. I hope I do. With every major (and a few too many of the minor ones as well) decision I make for Sherlock I try and ensure that I can picture it happening on my telly. If I can't I should probably re-think the action. I guess it's really for my followers to say though.

Two's a crowd and three's a party!
Have you participated in a threesome?
You've caught me, I have. At uni the summer before my second year a whole group of us went out to some music festival and well.... I need hardly explain what happens at music festivals.
Any more than three?
Never more than three, the one extra was hard enough to negotiate thank you very much.
Would you be interested in inviting more people?
At my age I think it's unlikely to find a ready and waiting threesome but I appreciate that you thought it a possibility! Also, on a more serious note, I'm currently in a steady relationship and I very much doubt my partner would be ok with the situation. So no, I'm neither interested in another threesome or an orgy going forward.
