This is a very late submission to @atlasapphicweek 😅 Let's see if I can get chapter three done in time for ATLA WTF Weekend!

The prompt used was "reunion".

Kyoshi takes Tagaka to the Avatar Estate, where she meets Rangi, the early Kyoshi Warriors (Yokoya Warriors here), Hei-Ran and Atuat. Tagaka starts planning a way out.

CW: ableist language. Basically, Tagaka is an ass to Hei-Ran. But she gets slapped so… :) And she'll get her ass kicked next chapter too. And maybe in chapter four as well -- but then it'll be in some other way, ikykik

I had a lot of fun with Tagaka's pov. Hope you enjoy!

The official art and character designs of characters from the extended materials like Tagaka or Jiang or Khandro or Hei-ran or Sun makes me sort of intrigued, but on another hand, I don't really know if I feel like digging into it... Can someone rec me which parts of the extended material of atla outside of the original show are worth buying/playing/reading/watching? (No opinions from anyone whose primary basis of interacting with the franchise or fandom in general is shipping please.)

The Kyoshi novels are very very good,so is Reckoning of Roku and Bobble Battles is a must play!!

ok, so that post was inspired by Koh x Ummi, which I like to imagine either in a Hades x Persephone kinda way or in a "she was cheating on Kuruk and we've only heard his side" kinda way, hehe Always looking for ways to make that guy's life even more miserable 😅

Jesa x Tagaka, Hei-Ran x Atuat x Tagaka, and Atuat x Ummi all live rent free in my mind (weirdly enough, Hei-Ran x Tagaka and Atuat x Tagaka don't seem as fun to me 🤷)

Some that don't involve milves: Aang x Ty Lee, Aang x Toph, and Sokka x Toph (all as friends with benefits and/or co-parents). And Yangchen x Yingsu!

Oh, and you know about my dark "Rangi dies early and Hei-Ran gets immortality" AU... Kyoshi x Hei-Ran when they're both 100+ yo (watch me get cancelled over this LOL)

And an honorable mention from the movie I watched yesterday (and I apologize): Mrs. Thomason/Nurse x Everest. LIKE, I'M SORRY, but the way she kept calling him "babe" ended me. I love it, I need more of it. The movie is trashy, but I'd happily watch a sequel LOL

I'd never thought about this and I'm having a hard time imagining them even meeting in the canon time line? In an AU, yeah, sure! Same vibe as Hei-Ran x Tagaka, love it, amazing, stunning, hot as hell. And since we're going AU, why not Hei-Ran x Jesa x Tagaka or Hei-Ran x Tagaka and Jesa x Tagaka, so Hei-Ran and Jesa are rivals or smth? Or some other mix?? 🤔🤔🤔

2. Marcille x Namari

Oooh I like it! They have a nice bitchy dynamic. I can see it as, like, light toxic yuri gets domestic with time. Very cute!

3. Hannibal x your fist

Very hot! The hottest! I need this to be canon. But you gotta do a full choreography on top of kitchen counters, or it's no fun.

Edit: ONLY IF YOU DON'T HURT YOUR HANDS! Or get hurt in general. I'm giving you super powers for this one.

4. Azula x Toph

I like it, but I think I like it best platonically. I can't imagine a world in which both of them are allo LOL But I think Toph would be good company to a redeemed!Azula. She doesn't beat around the bush and I think they have at least some family dynamics in common. Would be a better life changing field trip than the one with Zuko! I'm curious what do you think about this one?

5. Suki x Toph

Ok, I lied before. This one is the hottest! It's canon to me. Of course they would. Not even romantically, just friends fucking after a workout yk. Suki's in two open relationships (with Ty Lee and with Zuko and Sokka, ofc) and Toph is aro. Chef's kiss, absolute perfection. Love my muscle goddesses!
