It's a brisk morning and in your snow lined fox den it's business as usual. There's no hibernation, only you and your silly little partner as you spend everyday together. Oh, yeah. food! Sooo hungry. You pad your way towards the soft spot you both share where he sleeps soundly, curled up in his kimono, his nine tails tightly wrapped around him. You think his bandages must keep him extra warm too, what a package deal. Oh how pretty he looks like that... You kneel and nudge him awake with a soft whisper.

"Hi... it's time to eat."

His pointy ears perk up and he pops one eye open as he scans you first thing.

"You brought food already? Woooowww... How gracious of you, cutie~"

You snicker quietly to yourself, and shake your head.

"No, we're going together. You need to start earning your meals."

"Pfft. I'd never make you earn your meals, you know."

You make another sound of sheer entertainment at his cute whining, and nudge him again, this time carding your fingers through his messy brown hair, and caressing those soft ears that twitch with every word you say. He could stay like this forever, he thinks. With your approval, hopefully he will.

"Is that so? I dunno... I'd say every time I head out into town to find your specialty canned crab it's quite a quest for me. Or when I trick those humans into giving me more tofu than usual for our stews I really do wonder if you ever stop to think if that's a harder than usual task for me-"

Your words are cut off by a swift and fluffy tail that clamps over your mouth. You stay quiet, a wide smile playing on your lips as you watch Dazai become animated in a second.

"...Okay, okay! Fine. I'll go... And of course, you'll do the cooking."

"I always do the cooking, Osamu."

"Yes, and thank god for that, because I love doing the eating~"

You quirk an eyebrow as you fold your arms across your chest and hum. He's so cute when he's being high maintenance. Despite you both being kitsune, he had you wondering if you were slowly becoming his human caretaker... Not that you would ever mind, that is.

"Mm, that you do..."

Dazai then stretches himself, his body becoming long as he holds the pose with his back arched, his ears flipping back as his tails fluff up, signaling he's fully awake now. He turns to you, those cunning narrowed eyes now slightly half lidded and tender. His voice is low and hoarse.

"But you know what? I also love other things..."

You tilt your head a bit as he stands to his full height, walking towards you and scanning you head to toe with that never ending gaze that oozes with affection. He knows what's going on in that little head of yours, and you almost feel bashful from the way he grants you every bit of his senses. When he reaches you, he places a hand on the top of your head inbetween your soft ears, petting you with feather light taps. He towers over you, his figure now more imposing except without the threatening aura. There could never be threat when it's just you and Dazai, because behind his goofy and easygoing exterior, there is an undying commitment to you that goes beyond life and death. And thankfully, you both will live for a long, long time despite his pesky jokes about the opposite.

He leans forward and then down enough to whisper against the shell of your ear as if he were telling you a secret.

"I love... Curry... Rice... Crab... and-"

You interrupt by looking up at him, eyes twinkling with anticipation. You weren't desperate for his tender words, for he never withheld them from you. He couldn't hide how enamored he was with you even if he tried! There was just something about hearing him say it that made you feel like it was the first time every single time. He curls one of his tails around yours, gently braiding them together as they form a furry stem, locked in place like two hands intertwined. He grins, holding your chin as you two communicate in your own little language with your eyes.

Dazai thinks about how lucky he is to be yours, through thick and thin and the coldest of winter. From the way your lashes flutter every time you blink to how your nose crinkles in the cutest ways when you laugh, he doesn't know why you entertain his mischief. Maybe he's cursed you... Maybe it's a good curse if it means you'll continue to look at him the way you aways do. Either way, you'll both see the Spring come, together.

He brings his hand down to the tip of your nose, so elegant and beautiful, and taps it while whispering.

"You. I love you. So let's go to town, yes? I'm ready to work for my meal or whatever."

You bite your lip at his call back to your previous words, trying to stop the smile from literally getting any wider as you drop the bossy act and melt for him instead. And here you thought his charm was only reserved to fool humans! You nod and when you speak, it's barely above a whisper.

"I love you too."

He leans in so close that his nose touches yours, teasing your every sense.

"I know that, cutie. Duh."

He speaks with a low purr as if stating the obvious, causing you to roll your eyes at his adorable audacity. Only Dazai could get away with this, and only you could make him feel complete this way, no matter what form he takes.

yes! OKAY MORE VIOLINIST AU LORE DROP (i should make a proper post explaining the au atp) it’s one of the things that make me wanna scream because r has compared their skills to kafka’s while they were learning under the same instructor (can yall guess who it is hehe. starts with E) because said instructor very obviously favoured kafka. he was more interested in shaping her, in developing her potential for greatness and believed r was a stepping stone that kafka would eventually surpass to succeed. very much living through her and molding her into the musician he wishes he had been. k was unaware of it of course, but there were days when he’d tell r that they’re not needed for the next practice because he’s trying out something new with k, or that they’re the accompaniment so they should at least be able to keep up with her, things like that. it played a huge role into r believing that k doesn’t need them and that they suck, and that insecurity has grown now that they both went their own way and k became super successful. r never told k that because k openly adores him. he taught her almost everything she knows, the base of what has made her who she is today and she’s very grateful to him. the type to mention him in interviews and such.

r doesn’t want to ruin her image of him but now that they’re adults they realize just how fucked up his treatment of k was, so manipulative. it’s worse when they eventually learn how destructive k was after they left; practicing until her fingers bleed, until exhaustion, isolating herself from her closest friends to spend time in the practice room, etc like for a moment playing became more of an obsession to prove that she’s great on her own and her instructor definitely took advantage of that. telling her how he admires her drive. how at this rate, she’ll be the best in the country in no time. he was the devil on her shoulder and it makes r feel so many things— guilty for leaving her with him, angry at him for taking advantage of a vulnerable teen, anxious about telling her the truth, all the feels. she’s known that guy longer than she’s known r and he’s her mentor, why would she believe and/or choose r over him? they’re so silly. kafka gets mad and they’re about to cry over it but she’s just sooo pissed they’d even think she’d let that shit slide, that she’d stand by as r got belittled by a grown man just so she’d be propelled farther. ughhhh it’s a mess of feelings for her as well because she did idolize that man for taking her under his wing, especially at a time where she felt so alone. it’s great!

i like this little inner conflict a lot because 16 year old kfr thought they knew everything about each other. kafka especially, she thought she knew r like the back of her hand and that she was the best at decoding all that they didn’t say, since r was very reserved as a kid. during that last bus ride home, she kind of realizes that it’s not true. but she really understands that when they start hanging out again and she’s learning all these things about them that she had no idea they were going through, and it’s just great that they’re healing from all that stuff now, together. they’re the blorbos of all time

i feel sooo silly asking this but i trust you with your most delicious eyewatering fics on this site. what's your average writing process look like for a big fic 😭 how long on average does it take you to write, like over a few days? or in one sitting? do you plan it all out in dot points first or just let it flow. i feel sooo small brained because i will think of something cool and #hot and toe curling and then i'll go to write it down and my mind is blank and it takes me 5 days to write like one paragraph of decent smut

THANKYOU WHAT 😫😫💖 you are so so sweet. m so glad u think so ahhh !!! <3 hmmm, it really depends. an average one shot that turns out to an estimate of (6.0k word count ‘n up) would take me about maybe a good week. it honestly depends how motivated i am. my recent fic took me two weeks i think because i randomly got sick in the middle of november n took a tiny break. we r so back tho !!!! it usually takes me days to write a fic because im always taking breaks, i get bored, i get discouraged, etc. i think one fic i’ve wrote in one sitting is my ex husband gojo fic the grudge, i wrote that whole thing in a day on oct. 29 right before midnight 😭 i was rushing because i didn’t wanna screw over kinktober but im proud of how it came out !!! :D

another fic i’ve wrote in one sitting was probably my ex-convict! toji fic where reader sprays pheromone perfume on herself. ofc it still takes me many, many hours to write anything. i noticed whenever it comes to toji i’ll write super fast hehe. sometimes gojo too. i usually plan everything out !!!! i try to outline everything out before i start writing so im not rushing. recently, whenever im stuck on a fic i try to write in sections — like i’ll write certain scenes and get back to the unfinished ones later. that helps me a lot.

listening to music helps me let it flow !!!! 💓 majority of my stuff is based on songs / lyrics so i’d rec turning on music to help maybe motivate you more. i cannot write in silence heh, ill fall asleep.

I assume you mean the OCs from my pfp, sooo its ✨tangent time✨

(After typing out all this I’ve realised it’s quite a lot, so I hope you like reading lmao)

So the one on the left in my pfp (spiral eye, sweater) is named Bubble (my friend named them), they use any pronouns (although I generally use they/them) and their nickname is Bubs :3

The one on the right (demon, poncho) is Devlin (name taken from the Devlin house from Dead Boy Detectives) they also use any pronouns and their nickname is Dev

These r some of my OG sketches of them (their designs are pretty much exactly the same still, i don’t plan on changing them)

I made them both easy to draw on purpose since I just wanted something to do while I was bored but I’ve ended up becoming super attached to them lmaoo

I decided pretty early on that Bubble and Devlin would be in a romantic relationship because idk, i’m just a sap for romance I guess

Bubs and Dev both use rotary phones from the 1960’s; mostly it’s just a gag, there’s no real reason for this other than I thought it’d be funny.

I tend to stylise Devlin’s dialogue in all caps just to sort of show their loud personality but they actually aren’t yelling most of the time.

They both have pets! Bubble has a saint bernard called Benoit Blanc (Benny) and Devlin has three iguanas named Tim, Martin and Sasha (I think you know where i got their names)

I haven’t planned out every aspect of their characters but I do know a few things such as hobbies (Bubs likes baking and Dev likes to read. They both like arts and crafts) and their families (Bubs comes from a kinda big family, they have several cousins and a little brother, meanwhile Dev no longer speaks to their family.)

THEY ALSOOOO have some friends!

I wanted to keep the Nicknames thing, so i introduce Vixen ‘Vixie’ and Melina ‘Mel’!

Vixie is sort of a slime-person? Idk but it makes sense to me. She’s also transfem and very shy! We love her tho <3

Mel is NOT a zombie although I realise she looks like one, she’s kinda just green. She’s more sarcastic and tired than the other characters but she loves her friends.

Vixie and Mel aren’t as developed as Bubs and Dev but I still love them :3

I hope to make these guys into a comic someday!! I love making up silly guys

Okay thanks to the wonderful tmm server again I had another brainstorm and this time I’m back with TMM X EPIC The Musical because!!

After some thoughts I think I have a rough idea of who’s who…

RIDLEY - Odysseus since shes a smart girl. Would be warrior of the mind and also shes already the leader of the Misfits like how ody is the leader/king.

DANTE - Athena, basically odysseus’ mentor sooo he advices her and is the presence that is there but also lowkey abandons Ridley sometimes helpp.

LEILA - Polites because open arms and he encourages people to see the light in bad things and is optimistic like Leila. One of Ody’s closest friends like how Leila and Ridley have a special close bond and someone that Ridley/Ody actually listens to.

THEO - Eurylochus since he cares about the crew/ family and is the one who put their needs first and so theo and ridley conflict which ties to how betrayed ody was with eury since theyre brothers and theo and ridley r close friends so drama. Theo would be Ridley’s most trusted friend but they have differing opinions and priorities which could lead to Mutiny and arguments just like in the Third Minor.

IZZY AND OLLY - Aeolus and Hermes since the wind god wanted to play a game with the wind bag and is lighthearted and Hermes is there for fun plus messenger god and supports ody so theyre like the silly gods hehe. Whimsy and fun plus their songs are bangers. They’re both like kinda matching with Hermes being able to fly/messenger god and Aeolus being the wind god.

EMILY - Circe cause she can trick and lure ppl in like the witch and mesmerise them yayay AND she does it in her belief that it’s right just like Emily believed her methods were for the best, to protect those she cares about.

CARTER - Prophet because hes the one that gave ody like a reality check and a hint of the future plus gave help soo… Calm and wise and insightful and his song gives really relaxed Carter vibes. Oh and a sort of gloomy air around him.

KILROY - Poseidon because he’s Ody’s ultimate hater plus main villain so. Also something about ruthlessness seems like a lesson that he would teach.

BOBBY - Polyphemus aka the cyclops because terrible host, greedy, liar and jerk. Also i can picture him being mad about Ridley stealing his gems instead of sheep lol. Oh and maybe a giant eye resembling gem idk.

KINCAID - Zeus cause brothers with Poseidon and also is lowkey like a jerk too even though he’s a god and suggests helping ody but gets mad and flips instead like how kincaid claims to help the misfits but proceeds to go against them lol.

SANDRA - Hera cause also weird relationship with the Kalagan twins which could tie into like an “eugh” relationship with Zeus aka Kincaid since Hera and zeus r like married eughhh. Also she slays and gives mystical Hera vibes.

MICK - Hephaestus because of his importance on trust in God Games and how Mick was feeling uncertain about the whole untrustworthy situation with the Emerald Ring soo. Plus they both tinker and can make stuff snd Hephaestus have his prosthetics while Mick was injured from the fire or something.

THE FROWN CLOWNS - the sirens because they tried to kill them and also they pretend to be your loved ones like how they tried to pretend to be Leila’s birth parents eww.

MRS. LARSEN - Penelope because interesting dynamic with her daughter and also plot point where Ridley didn’t part with her on good terms and now she realises she misses her mum and is trying her hardest to get home.

TOP HAT - Telemachus because he’s basically Ridley’s son lol
