(Slightly) more organized thoughts on the V8 finale.
tl;dr I think the finale had some issues.
Iâll start this off by emphasizing again that this is my opinion, so read something else if you canât handle negative criticism of RWBY. I say this because too often people in this FNDM canât handle a difference in opinion without insulting or patronizing others, and I want none of that.
Now, RWBYâs general structural issue is a lack of time to fulfill all their ambitions, and they usually tend to neglect one aspect a bit more than others. In volumes 7 and 8 this proved to be quite a problem, because they wanted to tell quite a complicated story while introducing a fairly large amount of new and returning characters. I very much like the story they told in these volumes, but it must be said that the development and focus on the regular cast, and team RWBY in particular, has suffered for it. Itâs not a deal breaker for me personally, but I do think itâs an issue.
So when I saw the finale episode only had about 20 minutes, I figured the best course of choice for RWBY would be to focus on the Atlas-only plots, and leave RWBY & coâs stories for the next volume, which by all accounts seems to be focused only on their character. And credit where credit is due, this is what RWBY decided to do with this finale. This doesnât really solve the underlying issue that the main cast has yet again been relegated to such a minor role in their own show, but I can live with it.
I still do have a problem with how RWBYâs role in this finale was handled, and forgive me because this might be the least well-explained part of this review. The best way to describe it would be that, though I know Iâm watching team RWBY, they donât feel present in the finale? I struggle to put my finger on it, if itâs more an issue of direction or execution, but something about RWBYâs fight felt off for me.
By comparison, when I think of the episode before, I donât have this issue. While the way Yang fell isnât RWBYâs best execution, the reactions of RWBY to that fall worked quite well. There was individual focus on Yang falling, Blake screaming and raging at it, Weissâs heart breaking into two, Ruby falling into more despair - the tragedy works because of it. I donât feel the same about the finale, RWB fall almost as if theyâre passerby rather than the main characters.
Again, maybe this is just me, maybe Iâll change my mind later. Whatever.
I think Cinder is the one Iâm most satisfied with. She seems in character, she acts a lot like she did in her confident state during Beacon, and I did get the impression Salem knows Cinder is lying to her. I admit that I did not expect this direction for Cinder, it seemed like the right spot to have her break free from Salem, but itâs too early for me to call where her arc is going to.
The only nitpick I have with Cinder is how she offed Arthur. I felt like it could have a little more focus? I get that his death is supposed to feel completely inconsequential, but I wish there was just a little bit more there. Again, only a nitpick.
Vine - I think my opinion on Vineâs death is quite unpopular. It felt too last minute, without enough setup. See, while killing Harriet here would have its own set of issues, she was well developed enough where you could actively feel for her, while also expecting a possible death. I canât say the same about Vine; Vine is only a teensy bit more developed than Elm, which isnât a lot. Heâs making a huge sacrifice, but the lack of character makes him seem expendable by design. It feels like the writers put all their efforts into threatening Harrietâs life, realized last minute that actually they could a lot more with her character (good call), so they shoved in Vine in her place because they still needed a bomb sacrifice.
On the flip side, three of the Ace Ops surviving and proving once and for all they broke away from Ironwood too, with Harriet and Marrow still alive - that is good. Iâm not sure what more theyâre planning to do with their characters, but itâs preferable to far worse alternatives I can imagine. Weâll see.
Then thereâs Penny. sigh
Iâm not sure what I can add that P5, bell or cosmokyrin, and probably a few others havenât already said, but I donât think it was well written. The whole body-thing in âCreationâ, sure, I can accept that was a difference of interpretation. This? This whole, letâs resurrect Penny, develop her immensely as a character, reaffirm her autonomy multiple times over, avoid multiple deaths, only to die like this?
I know the common comparison people make here is with V3, and I can see where people are coming from. After all, Pyrrha and Pennyâs deaths were impactful and tragic there, and most people agree that was well written. Whatâs the difference here? Some differences in circumstance are worth visiting here.
Penny of the Beacon era, lovable character that she was already, was not the most developed character. At the end of the day, most of what we knew of Penny then was in relation to Ruby - we knew Ruby cared for her a lot, we knew why they bonded, so we had setup as to why her death would impact the Fall so much. It works, because it gave enough focus on her for us to care about, but not overly so where the shocking factor of the Fall wouldnât work.
With Pyrrha, I think we all knew the signs were there at the end of the day. Iâd argue that Pyrrhaâs very conception as a character lead to her death, she was just slightly too perfect for us not to expect a tragedy to occur. Importantly, her major arc in V3 sets us up to her death - through her conversation with Ozpinâs gang and Jaune, the introduction of Ember and the soul transfer device, killing Penny - by the time Pyrrha dies youâre prepared for it, and it still hurts. Even if the tragic scenario presented (losing Pyrrha because of the soul transfer) wasnât the one used, dying because she tried defending the use of those powers from Cinder made sense. It was enough of a switch you werenât bored because you expected everything to go to plan, but it wasnât too drastic where you felt completely unprepared for what would happen.
The trouble with how Pennyâs death was handled here, is in part because they just kept pushing us to the edge, making us worry about one tragic scenario, another way for Penny to die, only to alleviate our fears - only to kill her off anyway in a completely separate way. It happened so often in these two volumes, when we were already fresh off recognizing Penny wasnât dead in V3, that rather than feeling like an expected death that is tragic, is feels like they toyed with out perception constantly only because they could. When you raise and lower death flags over and over in such a small amount of time, the tragedy you aimed to convey is lost. Perhaps unintentionally, the point no longer seems to be telling a tragic story, itâs only playing this cruel game of perception with the audience. Whatâs the joke about Jean Grey in x-men, that she keeps being killed off and resurrected so often itâs hard to care about it all? Is this how Iâm supposed to look at Penny, RWBYâs Jean Grey?
Granted, Iâm not sure that if they committed to one consistent death threat with Penny and followed through, that necessarily wouldâve been better. Iâm not sure how Iâd think of RWBY if she died from the virus, for example. At least, however, Iâd be more confident in saying that was a difference of direction, rather than a difficult writing choice to comprehend.
Itâs only fitting Iâd talk about Winter now, huh? I think you all know my stance about her as a character, Iâd argue that she, Ironwood and Cinder were the best handled characters in these two volumes by a fair margin, but the finale leaves me very conflicted about her.
On the one hand, itâs everything I want. Winterâs confrontation with Ironwood is like a mix of Blake facing off against Adam and Yang confronting Raven, and while not as impactful in terms of storytelling, they do deliver on the same fronts. Winter calls out Ironwood for his lies, establishing once and for all it was by her volition she broke off, her conscience that was always better, and there is something poetic about her gaining the Winter Maiden powers to fulfill her goal of protecting others.
...but I canât separate this from Pennyâs fate. And it frustrates me to no end, because I love her connection to Penny, I made comparisons of how it reminds of Bumblebyâs relationship, it drives their characters forward so much, heck, I like that Penny took a part in taking down Ironwood with Winter, in a sense. But because Pennyâs death feels so contrived, its connection to Winter almost cheapens the importance of their relationship with each other. And it doesnât seem quite needed either, since they individually as characters already broke free from Ironwood.
I can sort of see that I am supposed to interpret it as a tragedy, and I do indeed think Winter getting the Maiden powers is tragic for her character (not unlike Spring Maiden!Yang theories), and I am excited to see where this is going. I thought this was the end for Winterâs major impact on the story, but thereâs a whole other arc waiting, and Pennyâs a major part of it too.
To say Iâm conflicted about Winter would be an understatement.
The actual silver lining, for me, is the post credit scene. Volume 9 is an opportunity for RWBY to try and change some of the problem I presented initially. My hope is that by focusing almost exclusively on team RWBY, with Jaune and Neo, and putting less emphasis on developing the settings of giant-tree-land and not over-complicating the plot. Hopefully, this would allow them to focus on developing the main cast again, in in particular addressing some of the main issues presented; notably, the Bees confessing, Ruby maybe reaching her breaking point, Yangâs issues being addressed, and hopefully something more individual for Blake and Weiss as well. Neo is an interesting curveball to throw into this equation, and I have a decent amount of hope with Jaune (although then I remember itâs probably going to be about Penny, and, ugh...).
Yeah, thatâs all I have at the moment. If you want to talk about it, my inbox and DMâs are always open. If you disagree with me thatâs fair, just give me the minimal amount of respect rather than being an ass about it.

Fair Game Week Day 4: Birds/Soulmates
A classic tattoo AU. Qrow realizes almost immediately Clover could be his soulmate because itâs obvious af, Clover isnât sure right away because people named after birds are relatively common in Remnant so he needs more proof than that.Â
One day he rescues a bird from the snow thinking the poor thing is probably lost and freezing after flying so high to Atlas and Qrow is freaking out internally after seeing his mark because itâs totally him!
So... my original plan was to try to write a fic for this. Tho I knew I wouldnât be able to complete it on time, and I would need more time to just stop and figure how the story was going to go exactly cuz Iâm the kind of person that likes to plan a lot before putting stuff on paper.
I still have a little prologue tho, but I decided not to go further until Iâm more sure about the plot so it doesnât end up forced. Hopefully, I can one day I can go back to it and complete it!! Still, you can take a peek at what would probs be the first 2k under the cut:
Qrow was born with a bond mark.
He was still a rascal of a kid, who ran barefoot and chewed with his mouth open, tripped on the ropes that held up the tents of their current campsite, and liked to try to peek at the new shiny items the tribe people had stolen from their most recent raid only to be caught at the same second - though he still didnât know they were stolen, or understand what a raid was - when someone finally explained to him the weirdly shaped spot on his abdomen he kept scratching wasnât just a normal birthmark.
They explained to his sister too. He actually was intrigued enough by the story to settle down on the tentâs floor to hear about it, though she brushed all of that talk off with a âyeah, whateverâ, rolling her eyes at the existence of magic symbols that would appear on your skin, connecting you to a person who, at some point of you life, you would realize they mean a lot to you.
âItâs like a guaranteed best friend!â He had grinned with a mouth that missed a few teeth as the explanation was concluded.Â
The explainer only smiled at him, letting out a pensive hum before shrugging and deciding on âYeah, you could say that kid.â
He didnât understand why his sister was so grumpy after that. How the premise of a friend didnât get her excited - they barely had kids their age to hang with on the camp, the younger ones were annoying and the older boring, he could get behind the idea of some company besides his moody twin. And when he had asked, âHey, what does your bond mark look like anyway?â She flicked at his direction one of the pebbles they had been throwing at the river to see them skip, and stormed off without a word.
He was still a restless kid, yet now one that had learned to avoid the ropes before he could get his foot caught on them, when he found out a bit more about the marks. How they could appear at any time of your life, or not at all, how you could get a new tattoo before actually meeting the person, or after years of knowing them. How his sister didnât have one yet, how she didnât like the idea of her lame brother having something she didnât.Â
How some people would consider lucky he was born with one, how many would give everything to have a mark appear that early.
That would be the last time someone thought of him that way - lucky. Because soon he was tripping over the ropes again and taking tents down with him, and that was just one of the minor consequences of what they later would classify as his semblance.
The people of their tribe had thought it had been a funny inside joke naming the kid born with a mark shaped like that after a bird that was popularly known as a bad omen. Now it was just rightfully fitting. And not even the permanent tattoo on his skin of a four-leafed clover could serve as a good luck charm against the misfortune that now followed him wherever he went.
***
As he grew up as an outcast teen, the novelty of the marks went away together with the childhood wonder. Maybe because at his tribe, there werenât many bonded people - they also werenât really open about talking about this mushy stuff, so maybe he never knew about them. Or the ones who talked about it, did that because it came together with an almost-always tragic tale about how they were betrayed, backstabbed or straight-up stabbed by their match, or how they perished in some gruesome way, so he didnât have a lot of positive examples to work with - perks of growing up around bandits.Â
Guaranteed best friend was now just some naive though he scoffed at. He was so stupid as a kid, maybe his sister was wise to just go âwhateverâ since the beginning - he would never admit that to her in his lifetime, of course. (In the future though, there would be a point his sister wouldn't make a face to the mention of bond marks anymore, and then a good while later he would stop to really think about how her semblance worked. And he would connect the two dots - he still never saw the marks, but they had to be there, right?)
Who decided those things were a good idea? They could pop up on you any second, without a warning, with just a random shape to tell you about this random person you were supposed to meet one random day. People would talk about letting fate run its course until you would meet them, and how there would be a moment when you would just know. It sounded so unreliable, and too much for him to bother worrying about when he needed to survive frequenting - or infiltrating as his people would have put - a Huntsman Academy.
Yeah, they would have some impact on your life. But that could mean anything apparently. You could be bonded to your parents, to your siblings, to any relative, you could be bonded to someone you looked up to or who would look up to you, you could be bonded to someone who you would only interact for a few months, days, minutes, or less. Or, the most coveted of all, you could be bonded to someone you would fall in love with. Those cases even had a specific name - soulmates. How special.
You could even have more than one. If you thought having to worry about a single unknown individual could make someone paranoid, just imagine having multiple marks! Thankfully, he just had one.
That was good. Because it would be just one person that would have to put up with him. He wasn't exactly the person someone would dream to meet, much less be bonded with. Who would want a bad luck magnet connected to them anyway? Just unfortunate, how the unsuspected match would have to deal with it. At least it was no one from the tribe, that would only hinder them down - those were the kind of things people talked about him at the camp, on the rare times they dared to make the cursed kid a conversation topic anyway, and he was just unlucky enough to eavesdrop it.
He also didnât want more because he despised the one he already had - he would say he had never liked it, but it was just his sour mindset clouding the childhood memories about him happily imagining how his friend would be like. It had to be a sick joke. A small symbol that represented everything he couldnât have. Years and years went by with it just there, mocking him constantly.
He had met many people he would have said they had influenced his life, yet apparently none of them were the one. Unlikely his sister, he wasn't bonded with anyone from his team - he assumed her semblance only worked on him because they were related. He wasn't bonded to the man who mentored him and gave a purpose in life - though after finding out the truth, he supposed that was a good thing. He wasn't bonded to his nieces, who were more family to him than his own blood, girls he had watched grow up from hyperactive, sweet-toothed brats to strong, independent young warriors - they were still a bit of a brat though.
So, at his age, he assumed that his semblance affected him in such a way he would never have the luck of finding the person. Fine by him. He stopped caring about that long ago anyway.
And that meant that, at his age, at this place, in the middle of what he could only call the beginning of a war, he should have not been thinking about any of this.
But here he was. Halfway through undressing to take a much needed shower to relax and warm him up after the mission at the dust mines. Feet planted in front of the bathroom mirror. The mark still just there, right at the end of the scar he got from a scorpion tail as if, by some stroke of luck, it had barely avoided being slashed in half. He instinctively grimaced at the sight.
Even if he strongly didnât want to think about it, it felt as if there was a force preventing him from shoving the thoughts to the back of his mind, not allowing him to ignore the signs.
He had seen the pin when they were captured on the first day. Heck, he even did a double-take at the shape that was unfortunately too familiar. But there were other more important things on his mind at the moment - like how they were being arrested.
Later he found out that was literally that guyâs name! And he didn't like how the information made a cold settle on the bottom of his stomach.
And then James partnered them up. He didn't like the idea, it had been too long since he had worked with other huntsmen on the field - and that happened for a reason. The company made him feel weirdly numb. Or that was him not being used to the cold of Atlas anymore, being in a mine with ice-covered walls certainly didn't help - how he just strutted along without sleeves?
Yet, he did his best to focus on the mission. Ignoring how Clover made sure to match his pace and walk by his side as they scanned the tunnels for any sign of the Grimm that had been wrecking the place. The silence would only be broken from time to time with inputs coming from his earpiece, and it had been just a step away from being uncomfortable. So he decided to not make this situation more unbearable for himself, taking a breath, he took a risk at the grueling task that was small talk.
âGotta say, Iâm still not really used to working with other huntsmen in the field.â He was surprised with how casual he made himself sound.
âBut you were on a team before, werenât you?â How Clover seamlessly encouraged the conversation with a question also surprised him for some reason.
âLong time ago.â He sighed, gaze dropping to the floor. âI just found working alone tends to be for the best.â Great. With just a second into their talk, he had managed to bring its mood down. Not an unusual occurrence for any kind of interaction he was involved though. So why this time did he feel so⌠bothered?
It was just this entire situation bothering him - he rationalized with himself.
"Well, I think thatâs a shame." Of course you would.
He didn't know how to respond, yet he didn't even have the chance. One misstep, and his foot left the ground with a slip. What prevented him from making more of a fool of himself by crashing his face on the icy floor was a quick strong grip on his arm, catching him mid-fall and pulling him back up without seemingly any effort whatsoever.
Clover patted his shoulder as he regained his balance and he didn't hold back the frown on his face. He just walked forward as he responded to the voice coming from his communicator, and it took him a second to realize he was glaring at his confident walk on the grounds he had just proved to be extremely slippery.Â
Who does this guy think he is?
Of course, they found the Grimm first, of course, it made himself stronger right in front of their eyes, of course, it ran away, and of course, there was now a gigantic hole on their path. One his partner there could have been at the bottom of it if he wasn't used to his semblance playing tricks just at the right time.Â
And when he dismissed his thanks for the head ups with a brief explanation about his semblance, his reaction was like no other he experienced before. No weird glances, no steps back, no awkward âthat sucksâ, just a nonchalant "that so?"Â
"Well, hey, donât beat yourself up about it." He continued, and with a swing of his weapon, he made a new path for them to continue down the tunnel. "My Semblance is good fortune. Lucky you, huh?"
He punctuated his sentence with a wink before walking forward, completely unaware of how that revelation had shaken him to his core. He was still frozen on his tracks as if the ice from the floor had risen to his shoes and stuck him in place.Â
Good fortune. That guy was a walking luck charm!Â
Everything he couldnât haveâŚÂ
His eyes were downcast, flickering everywhere as his mind processed the events. Yet now he wasnât staring down at the icy ground, but the smooth tiles of the bathroom of his room provided by the Atlas academy. Though his expression was the same from when the words had just reached his ears hours ago.
Looking up by a fraction, the ink of his mark seemed more lively than ever against his skin. He hadnât truly looked at it for a good while, avoiding it like he avoided the eyes of strangers, and doing so now, he found out he was unable to divert his gaze off it as quickly as he used to do before.
A pin. A name. My semblance is good fortune. A wink.
You would just know.
He let out a dry chuckle, the sound devoid of any emotion. That couldnât be right. He barely knew the guy. And he didnât need any of that cluttering his mind right now.
Lucky you, huh?

105. ...I really wish I hadnât wasted the phrase âsay uncleâ on that fic right about now...
PSA before we begin: I LOVE that so many of you guys reblog my stuff, but i also notice that when you do, you donât often tag it. PLEASE, I am BEGGING you, going forward, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tag your reblogs as âfair game.â We just got kicked off the Fandometricsâ ship list, and weâre not disappearing from it for any longer than a week without a fight if many of us have anything to say about it. If we want to remain in any place in this big world of fandom that warrants being heard, that list is our best chance. Iâm going to keep writing these HCâs and more Fair Game posts as best as I can, but Iâm going to need YOUR help! So please, you donât have to do anything apart from just tagging this (And any other Fair Game content you reblog) as âfair game.â The #CloverDeservedBetter movement is depending on you, and so am I!
Okay! HC Time!
If you recall during my 100 HC celebration post, I said I might do Clover getting blessings from Qrowâs family (For the purposes of this HC, weâre going to define Qrowâs family as Tai, Ruby, and Yang) another time, and right now, I could really use a pick me up, so here we go!
Cloverâs pretty sure Qrowâs family likes him (Heck, they may have spent some time traveling together), but that doesnât mean heâs not nervous about asking them for their blessings. And even if he wasnât sure of their responses, he wants to do this right. After all, should everything work out, theyâll be his family, too!
So one day while Qrowâs on a mission, Clover sneaks off to Patch. He arrives at the Rose/Xiao Long home, and when he knocks on the door, Tai answers. Heâs in good spirits and looks happy to see Clover, not asking about why heâs here, but inviting him to have lunch with him all the same. Clover asks where Ruby and Yang are, and Tai tells him that Yang and Blake are taking a ride in Yangâs motorcycle and Ruby and Weiss are taking Zwei to the local dog park, but predicts that theyâll be back by the end of the day. Cloverâs not ecstatic to hear that, fearful that heâll have to make multiple trips to see everyone, but still decides to take advantage of this alone time with Tai to ask him first.
Over a simple, but tasty lunch, Tai finally asks what brought Clover here. Clover bites his lip, muling over the wording, but it seems to make Tai very suspicious. He starts almost glaring at him, and asking pointed questions, prompting Clover to finally blurt his question out.Â
âWill you give me your blessing to ask Qrow to marry me?!â he says, the speed of his words only matched in speed by the racing of his heartbeat.
Taiâs face instantly lightens up.
âYou want to marry Qrow?â he asks, grinning from ear to ear. âThatâs awesome!â
Despite knowing Tai would probably say yes, Clover canât help but feel relieved to see him so happy with the idea.
âOh yeah?â
âYeah!â Tai answers, as if saying âno duh.â âYouâre smart, and youâre clean -- what more could I want in a brother-in-law?âÂ
Clover and Tai laugh, though the entire time, Clover gives him an, albeit lighthearted, look that begs him to take the conversation a bit more seriously.
âAnd you make Qrow a better man,â Tai continues, settling down. âAnd from what the girls tell me, he made you a better man.â
âHe still does,â Clover confesses, cupping the glass of water in front of him.
Tai puts his hand on Cloverâs wrist. âI wasnât married for long, but from what Iâve gathered, thatâs how marriage is supposed to work. Looks like you two are all set.â
Clover nods. âWell, I want to get Ruby and Yangâs blessings too. I just hope I can talk to them before I have to head back home.â
Tai shrugs in a noncommittal fashion. âWhen it comes to my girls, who knows? But, you can hang out here for as long as you want.â
Though heâs about to accept the offer, Clover never gets the chance, for five loud barks stop him in his tracks along with a cry from a very familiar girl for him to be quiet and that the doorâs almost open.
âWell, looks like youâre in luck,â Tai says, likely snickering just as much, if not more at his own pun than the circumstances. âRubyâs home.â
Can somebody smell Part 2? Because I sure can! Tune in next time, and remember to reblog these with âfair game!â Toodles for now!

RWBY Thoughts: WARNING SPOILERS
I have seen the most recent episode of RWBY which is Chapter 12 of Volume 6. I waited to post this cause I wanted to think about all that happened in that episode and all that. Iâll go in sections and in order from the episode.
So first there is the whole mech fight. Which is cool and all but that had me worried as f***. I mean in the last one Jaune and Nora ran out of aura and Jaune couldnât stand and Ruby was dangling above the water and about to get shot before Oscar and Maria stepped in. Thank goodness Ruby climbed up and was ok. And Jaune was walking thanks to Nora. I was so relieved and then my heart melted because Ren ran over to them and helped Jaune stand. But then I got worried again cause Ruby tried to snip the mechâs missiles but misses and the ship goes down. I love how Qrow is worried and all, but at the same time he needs to let go of Ruby sometimes and let her do what needs to be done. I love how Ruby delivered that speech. It was very well done and had enough emotion in it that I wouldâve let them go to Atlas. But no she didnât believe Ruby and tried to fire at her and that is where Ruby F***ING yeets into the canon and fires at it, causing it to get weighted down. Then she gets thrown out and is slowed down by Weissâs gravity dust, thank you, Weiss! And she gets caught by Qrow. The niece and uncle share a small moment. That fight had me worried the ENTIRE TIME!!! Iâm just glad they made it out alive and only a few auraâs were broken.
The part that I have mixed feelings about is the Blake and Yang vs Adam fight. Donât get me wrong, I love it but at the same time I just felt like that wasnât the time to do it. In Chapter 11, when Adam finally showed us his eyes and that he had been branded I wanted to be given an Adam backstory. Like full backstory not just skipping over a few things, no, all of the backstory. There is so much that could have happened to him but we can only theorize on what happened to him. And it was so gratifying to see Adam get hit by Bumblebee the motorcycle in 11 as well. I mean RWBY Rewind called it and I love it! But coming back to the present. I loved the Blake and Yang unified front. They are adorable. I would not mind them being a couple even though Iâm more of a Blake and Sun shipper. But Iâd be fine either way at this point. Although it does seem a bit overkill to have both of them fighting Adam. I understand that it was both of their fights but at the same time, Adam was played as this bad guy that we all thought was a badass but then they have to go and say âOh, heâs only the stalker ex-boyfriend that canât let go of the pastâ. No, thatâs not cool RT. Either heâs one or the other, stick to it and no switching. I do love Adamâs fighting style, I only wish he wouldnât rely on his semblance as much like Yang used to in the beginning 3 volumes. I was so worried for Blake when he made her aura fizzle out and almost put her in the bottom of a waterfall. But I am proud of Yang cause she only used her semblance once and that made Adamâs aura fizzle out and puts a groove in the spot of the fight. Adam goes for Gambol Shroud, well a piece of it at least. Which he could have used his sheath but then again no one can clearly think in a fight like that. Blake and Yang stab him, he says âOh.â, walks to the edge falls to his knees, then falls into the water below. I donât think he should have been killed here. There is so much we donât know and he couldâve died in a better way if Iâm being honest. I wouldâve liked a semi-redemption arc with him where he saves Blake or Yang. Like I said earlier, I WANT AN ADAM BACKSTORY! *looks at RT* But at the same time, he might not be dead. That is a possibility. But it would be a repeat of Cinder and her fight against Raven and no one really wants that. But I also wanted Adam to have more of a wordy death, to be honest. Kinda wanted him to get stabbed, collapse, realize he was wrong and apologize to them both and give them some information and tell them to stop Salem or what remains of the White Fang he lead. But that is my thoughts on that.
The ending scene. This is my thought process:Â âAha! Whereâs the might of the Atlas military now B****! Ahahahaha. What the heck is going on now?.....HOLY F***ING S*** WEâRE F***ING SCREWED!!!!!!!â I mean that was that ending scene in a few sentences. They defeat the mech then she contacts the base for more forces then we learn that something has come up while they were fighting and they are panicking at the base. Cause there is a f***ing water Grimm coming towards the base and multiple flying Grimm in the sky.
So those are my thoughts. And now Iâm even more worried about what will be happening in the VOLUME FINALE OF VOLUME 6! F***! IâM NOT READY FOR ANOTHER RWBY VOLUME TO END! But the only good thing is weâll get the songs for the volume.
