— “i love you,” you croon, grinning widely as you look up at hajime. his mouth is twisted into that upside-down, half-disgusted, half-amused smile, his eyebrows furrowed. “you’re so handsome.”

hajime has to look away, taking a deep breath, then shoves the laundry basket at you. “saying ‘i love you’ and complimenting me will not get you out of doing chores,” he tells you firmly, but there’s a hint of laughter in it. 

you frown, giving him a dramatic huff as you take the basket. “fine. i won’t say ‘i love you’ or compliment you, then,” you reply seriously, not meaning a single word. 

hajime freezes, looking down at you, his eyebrows furrowed slightly. “now i know you don’t mean that, angel,” he says, his voice low. 

he’s just standing there, looking at you a bit worriedly, and you can’t keep the haughty look on your face any longer. you burst into laughter. “no, baby, i don’t,” you manage to say through fits of giggles. “i don’t mean it at all.”

hajime purses his lips, glancing away as he tries not to smile. “that’s what i thought,” he says finally, leaning down to press a kiss between your eyebrows, his hand resting lightly on the back of your neck. “so say it to me again.”

“okay, okay. i love you,” you say, still giggling as he gives you another kiss, this time on your cheek. “you’re the handsomest man in the world.”

you can feel him smiling into the kiss he places on the corner of your mouth, his thumb stroking behind your ear. “and i know you didn’t think i was joking. i saw the look on your face, haji,” you tease.

he rolls his eyes, giving you one last peck on the lips before gently patting the nape of your neck and standing up straight. “whatever,” he mumbles, taking the laundry basket back and bumping your hip as he walks away. “i love you, too.”

The best way I can describe autism is imagining your favorite characters in the most mundane situations, acting 100% in-character

For instance:

-Heavy TF2 has a mouse infestation? He'd see one and go "Augh! Myshkas?! ...Heh heh, they run, like Scout, from big scary man."

-Plague Knight drops something on his toe? He grabs his foot, starts hopping around and says "ACK!!! HeeYOW!! Blast it, hee! This experiment is... decidedly NOT going according to plan!"

-Dedusmuln finds a styrofoam cup of water? Completely unreadable expression, he says "Wow. The myriad of bliss which thronges my heart of hearts is indescribable with such primitive lexicon! Oh, reconnaissance and discovery, it is where my soul may lie."

Finally saw a Season 8 finale that I liked! The creator for Psych on the after-show was saying, "Series finales are never satisfying to me...I wanted to make it feel like it was an episode of the show and it was fun, and you feel like these guys are out having these adventures. They're just not going to be on your TV next Wednesday."

And almost 10 years later, I'm over here, like, YES THANK YOU FOR BLESSING MY SOUL
