This was my dinner last night. I tried hard to pack in some protein. I even ate 2 filets but i went so over on carbs. Im sure i will find the best balance that prioritizes protein. Very difficult. Im going to buy some protein powder and bars so i can attempt to get the amount i need without going over on my other macros or by eating more food.

Meal Prep Sunday: Chef Dee tellem' what we got! lol So this week we have three days of tilapia with a side of brown rice, cooked kale with carrots, & a side salad since I ran out of kale. Also, I have a salad with spinach & romaine lettuce, craisins, wheat berries, sunflower seeds, carrots, & balsamic vinergarette dressing. Breakfast smoothie with spinach, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, mangos, pineapples, & Herbalife vanilla protein & healthy meal mix. For snacks: trail mix, yogurt with chia seeds & granola, apples w/ peanut butter, organic popcorn, pretzels w/ cheese, granola bars, & fruit snacks. #mealprep #healthy #healthyblackgirl #healthyeating #herbalife

So today I ran my fastest mile ever in life! As I drove to go do my run for my half marathon training, I told myself "you will run a mile in 10 minutes!" Not only did I meet my goal but I did it in under 10 minutes. This is my 2nd week of training & I had thoughts of quitting multiple times this week. I have never liked running & I have never finished a mile running the entire time. For some this may seem like a slow pace, but for me this is an accomplishment. It was hard! During that 9 minute mark it was an internal battle; I wanted to stop but I kept going. God is good & God is real. With him anything is possible! Meal Prep Sunday- This week I have roast with mashed potatoes, spinach & cheese ravioli, & my favorite, chicken teriyaki meatballs from Costco with brown rice. All of these are paired with "roasted" veggies, aka a little burnt because I got distracted lol Of course I have my fruit & spinach combination that I'm going to try mixing with my Herbalife shakes; and My yogurt that I mix with granola & chia seeds. I also have lots of snacks that aren't in the picture & my Herbalife multivitamins & cell activators. Meal Prep Sunday- This week I have two days of veggie burgers with a wheat bun & a side of veggies. I have veggie spaghetti made by my Dad #2; and I know I’m kinda cheating but I have some leftover Cajun chicken pasta from Chilis with some veggies underneath😝. This week is payday so Yoshinoya is in the near future lol
Also, can’t forget my breakfast smoothies that are already bagged & my yogurt that I will later add chia seeds & granola to. And lots of snacks, that are not pictured to help me through these 10 hour days, including the Kirkland brand of trail mix from Costco that has become my favorite!

Meal Prep Sundays:
This week I have chicken teriyaki meatballs , string beans, & brown rice. I also have spinach & cheese ravioli with red bell pepper marinara sauce. Friday is payday so I’m treating myself to yoshinoya lol.
Every morning I make a breakfast smoothie with spinach, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, bananas, mango, & pineapple.
I also have yogurt in the back that I’ll add granola & chia seeds to & LOTS of snack that I still have to prep. #mealprep
