kinda wild and funny suddenly ppl care about my weight and eating habits when I'm not like, underweight.
I used to eat twice a day and not even big dinners. That's it. Sometimes once a day which would normally have been breakfast. I STILL had acid reflux and stomach issues if not worse because I couldn't handle any food without feeling like throwing up
but now that I'm eating more and gained weight, now ppl actually pay attention to how much I'm eating and if it's healthy...
#so many thoughts rn#many stressors but I'd rather think of the least of my stressors#this being one#ik I'm not healthy still snd i could use a better diet#but i fucking hate ppl using my underweight self as an example#i hated being underweight but ppl said i should be grateful and envied#i was 15 and depressed and thought of ending my life that didn't bother showering or brushing my teeth or eating#but sure#envy me bc i was underweight and couldn't hold food down

the stray cat 🥺 I’m hoping my neighbour can take it in because idk how it’ll get on with my rabbits, but she’s extremely affectionate and so gorgeous and I know he’s been wanting another cat for years so it might be a perfect match if his mom says yes too
#I hope she does since it’s basically a rescue#mrow.org#she’ll probably need special food bc her teeth are a bit sensitive but other than that she seems quite healthy

I truly do not understand how my parents expect me to just. Be totally chill and normal and have no rules or issues with food completely out of the blue, as if they didn't spend literally my entire childhood from ages 0 to 19 like. Fully banning 90% of "junk" food, not allowing anything other than water or juice more than once a month on special occasions, only letting us have fast food more than once a year (if we were lucky) when it was literally medically prescribed to me bcuz I was so underweight and deficient in shit I needed a neurologist to tell me if I didn't eat Pringles every day I would probably die, literally saying to my face that the blood sugar gummies I ate bcuz I was too sick to keep anything else down were "too high calorie", saying that even iceberg lettuce is unhealthy, and so much more. Like. You guys. Why are surprised that I'm not comfortable having two cups of iced tea in a single day. I unironically feel like I should be taken out back and shot for doing this. And that IS your fault. You cannot act surprised that I'm like this when you are the ones who raised me to be this way.
#prolly delete later this is personal I'm just. like. why r they upset that I don't want to do this#why are they upset that I would rather b dehydrated than drink two iced teas-#-when that's literally what they explicitly told me to do for two whole decades#idk what switch flipped in their brains to suddenly b like. normal abt food but I cannot easily undo all of that#esp not when I was also bullied for being fat when I was medically classified as underweight. thst kinda fucks a person up#(tbc im working on it but 2 decades of actively encouraged EDs is not simple to get rid of lmao)#and none of this is even getting into how fucking obsessed they r with healthy teeth n how food goes into that#anyways. my brain is extremely unhappy and I have a bad feeling abt how it's gonna behave tmrw#armchair speaks#tw implied abuse#food mention#eating mention#calorie mention#weight mention#ed cw#ed tw#tw ed descussion#tw fatphobia#healthism#hopefully that all covers it???

I love my little dog so much but man in retrospect there's so much I wish my family had known about dog care 14 years ago. I know some of his health problems are just parts of getting old and would've happened regardless, but there are things we could've easily incorporated into our routine from puppyhood to prevent certain problems (or at least reduce their severity). And I know we were doing our best with the resources at our disposal, especially since as my dog he was kind of my project (a bit of a big task for a 10 year old whose research capabilities were basically just the school library but 🤷♂️), but watching him deteriorate before my eyes and knowing it's partially because of something I didn't do makes it all the more painful.
And I feel like a lot of the information we didn't have, some of it essential to long-term health (like brushing their teeth daily), is stuff that your average dog owner doesn't seem to know either. It's almost like there's this popular Image of how to care for a dog that's reinforced by our society at large, and then there's the things that only the Heavily Invested™️ (aka the people who get mocked for being "dog parents") do. And a lot of times there are things everyone really should be doing for their dogs, but they never know because they work off that popular image and add anything their vet specifically tells them to do as they go along. Except, at least in Milo's case, the vet really only gives advice once there's an Obvious Problem.
Anyway the point I was trying to make somewhere in all that waffle is that if you have a young dog start toothbrush training RIGHT NOW. You do not want them to get gingivitis someday, and nobody told us how to prevent it until it was already too late.
#I hate that I'm already anticipating a comment about how we were irresponsible pet owners#and maybe I would agree in today's world where almost everyone has the internet in their pocket#but we got Milo in fall 2009 and I didn't know how to use it for Solid Research yet#so I read what books I could find in my elementary school library and they didn't say anything about it#and as time went on that seemed to be enough until it Wasn't#obviously I did google things here and there over the years but mainly about what foods were best and stuff#dental health never came up until suddenly he was at risk for gingivitis and the vet recommended greenies as a last ditch effort#spoiler alert he still got gingivitis and we should've been brushing his teeth from day one#he has a lot of other comorbidities and only some have care as a factor gingivitis is just the best example of something we needed to do#they should invent a dog that stays young and healthy for decades cause this shit sucks#Im already dealing with being 24 I don't need this on top of everything else

opal was so well behaved (mostly because they had blankets scented with this drug that calms down cats we put it over her and she just became so eepy. it worked so well that a giant samoyed barking non-stop no breaks out of pure excitement for 5 minutes straight while bolting around in the same room as us didnt perturb her)
i pet her as she got her vaccination and she didnt even open her eyes when the needle was in. she let the. blanket cover her (she HATED being covered normally) because it made her feel so chilled. she only hissed when she got scooped. and the one time she did get agitated, when the vet was listening to her heartbeat, i started running my finger up her nose (have done so since she was a kitten 13/14 years ago) and the vet said her heart rate dropped immediately 🥺
#shes very healthy for a cat her age!#the only problems are; 1. shes lost muscle definition on her rught back leg. meaning she isnt putting weight on it#so it might be painful. we suspect arthritis. we are planning to out her on painkillers for a bit and then see the muscle development#2 weeks later#2. we have no idea how but she is missing teeth on her left side of her face. it was a quick look as she hates ppl looking in her mouth#but 2 teeth look broken off and theres inflamation so we will have to take a closer look in a dental#if the teeth are gone then she will be fine. will just get cream to soothe her gums#but if theyre broken we will need to put her under to take them out because the infection spreading to her jawbone would kill her#we're lucky we caught it so early#the only thing is we have no idea how this could have happened. it wasnt food or a cat fight. it would take a blunt force.#mum and my brother suspect she had a fall/messed up a jump and landed face first. shes done that before.#either way i look forward to alleviating as much pain as possible from her#also the prelim of the blood tests look great! no kidney disease!!!! i had suspected it cos she lost weight#but i think thats because the newish neighbiurs now know shes not a stray#and arent feeding her. shes a little nightmare#i love her tho shes baby#thought she would hold a grudge like she usually does but i found her by my heater an hour ago#and when she saw me she chirruped and showed me her belly so i know shes feeling good

"Meet ProDentim: The Game-Changer for Your Oral Health"
Introduction
First and foremost, it is worthy of note that the market of dental care is actively developing. Until recently people have used traditional goods such as toothpaste and mouthwash hoping for perfect dental hygiene. However, this is not the case, as even when people usually brush and rinse their teeth in the most appropriate ways possible, dental problems always seem to find a way of manifesting themselves. The truth is emerging: the status of dental health depends on the presence of certain bacteria in your oral cavity. Say hello to the latest innovative solution called ProDentim made to revolutionize your oral health by promoting the health of your mouth’s myriad organisms.
The Science Behind ProDentim
Society has in the recent past gained a deeper understanding of the oral microbiome; this is regarded as the bacterial microflora that resides in our mouth. I say these microorganisms are not just hitchhikers but they are participants and contributors to the health of our teeth and gums. Traditionally probiotics were used for gut health only but now there is evidence that these are good for oral health. Taking advantage of this discovery, ProDentim presents a powerful combination of 3. Five billion probiotics, the finest types that can be used to replace the good bacteria in your mouth. This is something more than an addition; this is an effective method proven by science to maintain and improve the conditions of the oral ecosystem.

Why Common Dental Products Might Be Harming Your Teeth
Traditional oral hygiene products, despite their good intentions, are loaded with compounds that are destructive to your oral micro cosmetic environment. As we have seen, Fluoride, though it helps in preventing cavities, also has the ability to throw off the balance of the beneficial bacteria in our body. Also, the alcoholic mouth rinses are damaging to the mouth, eliminating all types of organisms, useful as well as dangerous ones. This uncontrolled sloughing exposes your mouth to pathogens and removes the barrier your oral microflora otherwise affords. The irony is stark: all the efforts that we are making to protect the dentition may actually be shooting the process more harm. Enter ProDentim as the safer and more efficient option that lets you clean your mouth without putting at risk your mouth’s friendly bacteria.
The Unique Composition of ProDentim
Some factors that set it apart from the other teeth and gum health boosting products include; The formulation of ProDentim is unique and it has 3. Of all the unique species of probiotic bacteria, it can produce 5 billion live probiotic strains per serving size. Among these, three stand out for their proven efficacy in supporting oral health:Among these, three stand out for their proven efficacy in supporting oral health:
Lactobacillus Paracasei: As is well known in its preventive role of gum diseases, this strain is also useful in keeping the sinuses clear and unblocked, a factor that is often overlooked in dental health.
This powerful probiotic simultaneously regulates the bacterium population within the mouth and strengthens the respiratory system and immunity, benefits other than oral would be impossible without this supplement.
Lactobacillus Reuteri: Essential in lowering inflammation risk, it allows the right conditions within the mouth moist environment and prevents periodontal problems.
These probiotics are provided along with a blend of plant extracts which have been added for their specific effects to the oral health. Inulin was said to assist the development of good bacteria, malic acid from strawberries helps retain teeth whiteness while tricalcium phosphate enhances the firmness of the teeth and peppermint has anti-inflammatory properties.
Real-Life Success Stories
This goes way beyond the mouth; it seems ProDentim has an effect on almost every aspect of the human body. In another sense it does this by maintaining the oral microbial ecology and thus overall health indirectly. Maintenance of healthy gums and teeth has the potential of decreasing general inflammation that is associated with various diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. This kind of an approach towards the health which starts from the mouth makes ProDentim one of the most unique products present in the wellness supplements market.
Comparing ProDentim with Other Oral Health Products
The question, therefore, arises as to why ProDentim is unique in an environment that is, for the most part, flooded with similar brands of oral Probiotics? It is in the formula; this is not the full meaning of the word in furtherance of its registration but a way through which it is formulated. In contrast with other dental goods which may pose various health risks by incorporating toxic chemicals in their formulations, ProDentim is made from all natural ingredients whose functions are compatible with the natural human body. This product is GMO free, contains no gluten and it has no stimulants hence safe for use in each day. Additionally, setting up the product from most other supplements is that it contains probiotics that focus only on the oral health needs of the mouth’s microbiome .
How to Incorporate ProDentim into Your Daily Routine
The use of the ProDentim is quite easy and straightforward as follows. You will find the supplement in chewable form, thus making it easy to incorporate in your regular dosage plan. To get the best of this supplement, chew one ProDentim per day preferably in the morning. Frequency is deemed crucially important since a mouth must always remain a friendly flora for the bacteria that finally yield healthier teeth and gums. When used together with a healthy diet and proper dental care, the beneficial impact of ProDentim would be optimized, with your smile remaining in the best condition.
You can get the prodentim here
Conclusion: Transforming Oral Health with ProDentim
ProDentim is not just a common supplement but it is a step change in how people can look at taking care of their teeth. Due to this, ProDentim is a safe solution to most dental problems since it seeks to improve the overall health of the teeth’s microbiome. For those campaigns which focus on gum health, teeth whitening and overall healthy balance of the oral cavity, ProDentim is the definitive solution here you have been waiting for. Welcome this new era in oral health and feel the difference with ProDentim which uses the science of probiotics.
