I actually like Jax and Ragatha a lot more now that we've finally gotten a real look at what makes them tick. Earlier episodes just kinda positioned them as The Asshole and The Possessive Mom Friend and that's still who they are really but episode 6 really blows em wide open and says ✨ IT'S TRAUMA ✨ and y'know what that does make it more relatable all things considered

I think you’d get a kick out of the story of how I realized I was a woman. I didn’t get forcefem’d by mad scientists, but I think I have gotten as close as you can get without anybody breaking the law in a EU country.

Some people at my university wanted to scan people’s brains, have them do hrt for a month, then do another their brain scan.

I thought I was cis, but I signed up. I told myself that I was doing it for the bit, for science, and because the pay was good (local currency equivalent to 35 euros + a free sandwich per brain scan or blood test).

One week of hrt and I knew that I wasn’t ever going back. I’ve never had much interest in feminine things, so it felt like it came out of nowhere at the time. In hindsight there were a lot of signs. It certainly explained why I read so much forcefem/magic genderbend fanfic in middle school, and also why I only enjoyed the stories where the (formerly) male character ended up as a tomboy.
