Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) is an important lipid metabolism product in our body. It plays an important role in fever, inflammation, and blood pressure regulation. When our body is stimulated by viruses and other "heat sources", it will activate Cyclooxygenase (COX), which converts arachidonic acid into prostaglandins such as PGE2 in large quantities. PGE2 interacts with EP3 receptors to increase body temperature, and we will have a fever. The use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can block the activity of COX-2, reduce the production of PGE2, and repair fever and inflammation, which is the principle of ibuprofen, aspirin, and other drugs.

Saving My Family from The Hell Of War In Gaza! A Father's Plea for Safety..
Dear compassionate souls, I am Firas Salem, a software engineer, and I write to you with a heavy heart from the besieged land of Gaza. Once, my family knew warmth, happiness, and safety within the walls of our home. But now, we are trapped in a living nightmare, where every day brings fear and uncertainty.
I am a father of two beautiful children, a 10-month-old boy and a two-year-old girl. They used to laugh and play without a care in the world, but now their innocent smiles have been replaced by looks of fear and anxiety. The sounds of explosions and gunfire echo through streets, robbing them of their childhood innocence.
We dream of escaping to Egypt, where we can find refuge and begin to heal from the trauma we have endured. Asking for help was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but my family's safety and well-being are all that matter now, and I will do whatever it takes to give them the chance to grow up without the constant fear of war.
Instead of playtime and laughter, their days are filled with the deafening sounds of bombs exploding nearby. They should be drifting off to sleep, dreaming of adventures, but instead, they cling to us, trembling with fear every time another bomb shakes the ground beneath their flimsy tent. War has stolen their innocence, replacing it with a constant dread that no child should ever have to endure.
Our home, once a sanctuary, has become a place of constant danger. We huddle together in the darkness, praying for a moment of peace that never comes. After our house was destroyed in an airstrike, we were left homeless, forced to live in a makeshift crowded tent where disease spreads quickly with poor and very limited healthcare.
We've been stripped of everything we held dear. We've lost everything, and we continue to lose every day!! Every day feels like a recurring nightmare. For nearly six months, we've endured unimaginable loss. Our home, built through years of hard work, was destroyed before we could finish paying off its debts. We've lost not just our house, but also the security, happiness, and prosperity it provided. Our children's well-being- mental and physical health has suffered along with our dreams.
The tent, barely providing shelter from the harsh elements, offers little protection from the violence that surrounds us. My children shiver with cold and huddle close to me for warmth, their eyes filled with a mixture of fear and despair. I can't bear to see the suffering of my family any longer. They deserve a life free from the horrors of war, where they can feel safe and secure. That is why I am reaching out to you, pleading for your help.
We need to temporarily leave Gaza and travel to Egypt to reach a safe place, where we can find refuge and begin to heal from the trauma we have endured. But we cannot do it alone. The cost of transportation, lodging, and necessities is beyond our reach. That is why we are turning to you, our brothers and sisters, for help..
With your generous donations, you will help us:Reunite our family and find a safe haven in Egypt. Protect our children from the horrors of war and ensuring their safety. Rebuild our destroyed home so we can provide a safe and warm shelter for our family after the war and regain a sense of stability, easing the burden of debts that weigh heavily upon us.
Expenses:Travel arrangements to Egypt (approximately $5000-$10,000 per person) for 4 family members. Housing expenses. Living and transportation expenses during the initial period of travel. Food and medical expenses.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will save our lives and reunite our family.

As a breakthrough in silicon nanostructure materials makes photonics and near-eye displays cheap, smart glasses become the new ubiquitous computers, replacing smartphones. The always-on display provides unique opportunities for advertisers, as does new machine learning-assisted ad targeting. In the new omnipresent augmented reality, ads become personalized, three-dimensional, interactive displays, emerging from blank rectangles in subway stations. You see your facebook friends conversing animatedly, drinking budweiser.
As smart glasses become increasingly necessary for modern life, brands are able to invade further into perceived reality. Cars shine luxuriously. The name and price of your coworker's smartwatch floats above it. Of course many modern advertisements no longer directly sell a product or service, but rather create and maintain brand identities. Large corporations advertise on everyday objects--the plate at your favorite restaurant reveals the name of a software company as you finish your food. Your brother's anger turns him super saiyan, reminding you of the new episodes. A poor neighborhood turns into an alien-inspired techno-organic nightmare.
Many companies use characters to perpetuate their brand. These characters can be personalized--the insurance company mascot that shows up on your car dashboard during a harrowing rush hour is your favorite color, features large, expressive eyes, and is covered in shaggy fur.
Of course, machine learning algorithms can be unpredictable. And ad agencies could not anticipate the omnivalent memetic power of...
...anime girls.
The algorithm customizes your pepsi soda into a fizzy anime slime girl. They customize the call to your healthcare provider to raise the pitch of the representative's voice and translate the audio to Japanese (your glasses display English subtitles). The missiles you see striking a city in Iran are ridden by pale, northrop grumman-labeled anime maids.
As more human agency is ceded to enormous, power-chugging processing centers, the connections between everyday occurrences and brand presence become more abstract. Every character on a show you're not paying attention to, every old shoe you own, every person you interact with, every grain of sand on the beach, every floater in your eye, is an anime girl.
As humans do, they adapt. Generation Glass becomes accustomed to experiencing two entirely foreign sets of sense-data: one, their local, mundane world, of humming processors and concrete and scraggly trees. The other, the networked world, where your entire visual field is painted in overlapping anime girls of various sizes and your auditory vestibular nerve is drowned in high-pitched giggling. Each girl represents some object--pomegranate, sunset, friends, love, death.
As global civilization gently deflates under the pressure of climate change post-2100, so does the capacity to manufacture complex electronics. Within the space of a generation, billions of people are reduced to creating facile, vapid illustrations of the moving, living anime girls they once knew as bigotry and tarmac. Pictures of anime girls are used to label street signs, mathematical concepts, genders, religious texts. Ironically, anime girls become more incorporated into the real world than they ever were in the Glass period, because they adorn real surfaces. A post-traumatic behavior develops, in which a person destroys objects bearing anime girl images in an attempt to, according to one individual, "let them out," or otherwise restore networked consensus reality.
Thousands of years pass. Peregrine sophists of the Fifth Yyrzoc clan uncover an underground concrete structure. In it are glyphs of a single, big-eyed, pale, skinny, large-breasted woman with bright blue hair, surrounded by female figures in blood-red uniforms who are collapsed on the ground. The sophists are able to decode this message and avoid what we would recognize as a nuclear waste storage facility. They theorize that the figures are ancient feminine gods of radiation and death. Several etchings and illustrations are published by a notable scriptorium. Years later they are largely forgotten.

How smart are you? You’ve given some hints before but how many degrees do you have? What are you studying? What do you want to do in live professionally and passionately? What’s your purpose career wise?
Also hypothetically would you be open to being your wives employee if she had a really successful company?
I actually don't have any degrees! I'm a nerd and smart but also certainly have my flaws.
For context, I was an honors student all growing up. Always tested in the 99th percentile for state aptitude assessments. I got a 33 on my ACT, did well on a bunch of AP tests and went to a non-ivy-league but prestiguous state school in the top 25% of the incoming class and as a university scholar, in an accelerated chemistry PhD program, and lived in an honors community on campus.
I learned to speak some Chinese, became an instructor for a traditional Korean percussion group, led a bible study, tutored students in organic chemistry, and did excellent in my humanities courses writing on topics like a linguistic study of gender conception in viking-era icelandic society and designing an interventional plan to address youth homelessness in the community.
College was the best 2 years of my life, I adored everything about it but I also completely overloaded myself. Turns out you need more than raw brains for success. I was conflicted between prioritizing my studies vs my faith, and had unadressed adhd and anxiety i wasnt ever aware of and didnt know how to cope with. When my 19 credit hours were drowning me, I couldnt own up to the shame of overwhelm and failure, couldnt look my teachers in the eye and ultimately stopped showing up to class and dropped out.
I'm now back in school with a better understanding of myself, an absense of competing priorities and a lot of experience. Im pursuing working in Radiology doing either CT or MRI. A lot of my friends growing up are finishing their PhD theses and I love discussing them with them, but I myself don't have even an associate's to my name.
Career wise, I originally wanted to be a professor of either Chemistry or Materials Science. I debated majoring in Linguistics or teaching English as a second language but i don't speak anything fluent enough to really do that yet. I've since considered pursuing a career in comedy, as a science communicator and journalist or PIO, as a university student advisor, and taught myself to code to maybe pursue programming.
I love learning. Currently I'm putting the most effort into Chinese classical literature. I've done personal units on nutrition, skincare, fitness, urban planning, economics, and some software like adobe illustrator and game dev with Unity and Godot.
For my professional future, I think I'm for now planning on being a travelling technician in healthcare. It'd give me an opportunity to see lots of different places which is a goal of mine and shouldn't have too many commitments keeping me held in place. Maybe I'll finally get over my fear of casual hookups and become a traveling nurse by day and city-to-city clit servicer by night sampling all sorts of delicious lady bits. Idk. For now I'm just focused on what I'm doing in the moment.
In terms of passions I want time and independence to pursue learning as an autodidact. I'd love to maintain access to university libraries and attend lots of public lectures and symposiums if i could live near enough a big university. I want to read about the things that interest me and someday get over my social anxiety and travel to make friends all over the world with fellow nerds.
In terms of working for my wife of course that would be really sexy I'd love to be my partners doting but slutty assistant 💕 depending on the industry i guess. I think something like insurance or real estate is kind of predatory tbh and wouldnt want to be associated with it. But if I didn't have an issue with it I'd adore being my partners employee. Or even just a supportive house husband or trusted personal assistant ❤️❤️ a role i've always thought I have the potential to be quite good at
