Emmrich actually IS the suave and charismatic gentleman we've all been waiting for. Forget your Alistairs and your Cullens. Emmrich says dear and darling and has enough Big Dick Energy that you sense him coming from three rooms away. What's that shift in the air? Emmrich's natural necromantic aura touching the Fade? Well yes but also the sound of his monster cock swinging in his perfectly tailored trousers.
Emmrich talks to Rook like there's a love letter addressed to them specifically lodged in his voice box. He touches them like he paid money for the privilege. Emmrich uses his wealth to help others, he is NOT a person who desires power, and he expects the same of others. One time he looked at Rook and said, "The only good noble is a dead one," and even though Rook knew he was talking about the residents of the Necropolis, or perhaps because of that, it made Rook so wet they had to go sit down against a tree and bang their head a little to calm down.
Sometimes Rook shows up in Emmrich's room of an evening and without even missing a beat Emmrich says, "Come have a seat, darling," and Rook sits next to him only for him to tut and pat his knee. Immediately, Rook is perched there like he's Santa Claus.
"The things one can sense when truly in tune with the fade are inspiring," Emmrich says, and other such nonsense as his touch finds the path of least resistance to Rook's skin without hesitation. His fingers are cool and kind and they trace up the side of Rook's ribs like they might slot perfectly between them, like Rook was built as a home for his hand.
"You're killing me," Rook says, because he is, because Rook could actually choke and die from how badly they want to feel Emmrich's mustache on their thighs.
"Yes, but only a little death," Emmrich says. He smiles and his bangles jingle merrily away as he plays with Rook's chest. "Every time I touch your body, I'm already longing for the moment I'll touch it again."
"Guh," says Rook. "Hrng. Hunh."
"I quite agree. I find that words fail me when it comes to...how you make me feel, dearest." This is what Emmrich says, but fails utterly to demonstrate as he leans in and delicately bites Rook's earlobe, whispering seventeen of the twenty filthiest things Rook has ever heard. Things like I'll eat you like a cake, though you're more delicious and the Fade sings your name when I'm in you and--
"If I have to hear ONE MORE THING about that necromancer's cock," seethes Solas, who did NOT know that he was signing up for nightly pornographic lullabies when he decided to kick it in the back of Rook's head. This is the fourth time he's said that this week. He will hear many, many more things about that necromancer's cock.
"YES EMMRICH," echoes through the Fade, "Gods YES, harder! Give it to me!"
The spirits of the Fade, who like Emmrich a whole helluva lot more than they like Solas right now, twirl and giggle.

MAMA, A BIRD BEHIND YOU.
⠀⠀ ᡣ𐭩 ⠀ ⠀⠀angel!reader x dean winchester
sum. just angel!reader having a staring problem, and perturbing dean’s sleep with it.
includes. fluff, pet names (duck, duckling, sweetheart), it’s my first drabble have mercy, english is not my first language.
Dean jolted awake, his heart felt like it wanted to jump out of his chest. He wasn't sure what had disturbed him so much —a nightmare, maybe, or that weird squeaking sound the bunker floor made from time to time— but something felt... off. He blinked a few times, trying to get rid of the drowsiness and blurriness in his eyes. Then he saw you.
You. Fuckin' duck. He thought.
You were standing perfectly still in the corner of the room, your hands clasped together in front of you, staring deeply at Dean.
"What the fuck-" Dean wanted to yell at you, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't used to it. It was maybe the fifth time this week you'd taken it upon yourself to wake him or Sam with your eerie, silent presence. "Duckling, what are you doing here?" he asked as he sat up in bed.
You stared at him for another few seconds, blinking slowly. "You were asleep."
"Yes, I know. It's what people do at night." He rubbed his face, trying to make sense of the situation, and maybe trying to talk some sense into you. "Why are you always just... standing there? Watching me like a damn freak?"
You tilted your head slightly, as though considering your words. "You looked peaceful."
Dean froze, caught between a sense of confusion and sheer disbelief. "You woke me up because I looked peaceful?"
"No," you corrected, your voice as calm as ever. "You woke up on your own. I was merely observing."
"Observing what, exactly?"
For brief moments, you hesitated. Your expression was hard to read, since you just kept staring at him, but that question seemed to have made you think.
"Humans are... fragile. They take on too much. They carry the weight of their sins even unconsciously. I was ensuring that you remained unharmed."
Dean stayed just like you for a few seconds; still and staring, blinking slowly as if the gears in his brain were being dusted off. He opened and closed his mouth like a fish, trying to find the words.
"So you were angelically babysitting me?" he said, confused. How was he supposed to take that? Sure, it was... Cute, in a way. His chest tightened fondly at the thought of how much you cared for him, even if you showed it in such a weird way.
But still, it was fucking terrifying to be jumpscared by two shiny eyes staring at his soul in the middle of the night.
"Yes." you said, matter-of-factly, a tiny smile gracing your face, which only made Dean feel his chest tighten even more.
"Listen, sweetheart– I don't mind you watching me sleep, okay? Even if you look like a freak, I don't mind, but you should try to kick that habit. It's not very... uh, how do I say it? Human." Dean tried to explain it as simply as possible, but it was hard when you were looking at him with those big eyes, all wide and paying as much attention as if he were an exotic animal. "You scared five lifetimes out of me standing in that corner like an extra in horror movie. I'm just saying, others might react worse than me."
You blinked and looked down at your hands. "I didn't intend to frighten you. I'm simply drawn to your existence." You said softly. "If you would rather, I may go."
Dean shouldn't feel bad, but he did. It was like scolding a puppy for chewing on a shoe. He knew you were getting used to the Earth and how humans coexisted with each other, it wasn't entirely your fault you were a social misfit.
"Stay if you want," Dean flopped back onto his pillow with a groan, covering his face with his upper arm. "But I'd recommend you try doing other things while Sam and I asleep, believe me, anything is better than watching two idiots snore." He yawned.
Dean peeked out from behind his arm to watch you move toward the door, though you threw one last glance over your shoulder.
You hesitate, moving your lips as if you want to say something else. Finally, you nod. "Very well. Sleep well, Dean." Your gaze lingered for a moment, soft and curious, before vanishing down the hallway.
As soon as you left, Dean exhaled noisily. "Angels," he muttered, covering his head with the blanket. "Fucking weirdos."
a/n: hii hiii hello this is my first drabble, hope y’all like it :) i’m doing sam’s version soon cuz my boy deserves to be disturbed by the angel too

The Heart of Rome (Marcus Acacius x Ofc!Princess Reader)
All Chapters List
XV. The Plan (+18, Smut, MDNI)
“Parcere proditori, proditio est innocenti.”
To spare the traitor is to betray the innocent.
Marcus, after leaving you in the poorhouse, made his way to Palatine Hill. He had a bad feeling about it and it was getting worse. It was tough for him to leave you each time. However, today's council was of greater importance than any that had preceded it. It might be the case that this could alter the course of Rome and his own fate.
He got the latest update from his soldiers before heading into the Domus Severiana. He had trust in the Praetorian guards at the gate and those in the courtyard, but with Geta's safety at stake, he couldn't be sure. Octavius met him in the courtyard and followed him into the armoury to help him put on his armour. The next step was to get Geta to the Curia Julia safely. He must do this on his own, with his most trusted soldiers. As a Roman general, Marcus was an expert in a variety of military strategies and tactics, with a particular focus on offensive operations. It was for this reason that he maintained a considerable military presence on the Field of Mars, prepared for any eventuality. They were ready to act on his orders. He had invested a great deal of time and effort in training them, with the aim of making them all well-raised soldiers and ensuring they were prepared to take action should the need arise. He was certain that he would eventually have to deal with the Praetorian Guard. However, since you came into his life, his priorities have shifted somewhat. He was no longer seeking to overthrow the Emperor, but rather to assist him in becoming a capable leader for Rome. Perhaps he was reluctant to witness further unrest and conflict in the city. He was willing to do whatever he could to ensure a brighter future for his own and for all Roman children.
Marcus put on his armour and armed himself with his sword before heading to the courtyard with Octavius. Geta and his mother, Julia, were there, too, with a few guards awaiting him. As soon as Geta saw them, he walked toward them.
"Acacius, where's my sister? Why didn't you bring her with you?" he asked, a little louder than necessary.
"She's somewhere safe, so there's no need to worry."
"That's nonsense! You should have brought her here with you. I don't think it's a good idea for her to stay outside the palace right now."
Marcus gave him a stern look. "So you're the one who ordered the guards to look for her everywhere?"
"Yes, I wasn't sure how Macrinus would take the council's urgent decision, so I thought maybe I could bring her here this way."
Marcus strode over to him, looking angry, which made Geta tense up.
"You knew she was with me."
"But I didn't know where you were, so I had to get them to look for you both. Roughly half of the guards were still on his side. I just wanted to make sure that my guard could find you before anyone else did."
Marcus tried to calm down, taking a deep breath. "This shows that the palace isn't a safe place either. Fortunately, she's safe now, my men are protecting her," he said then. “May I ask how the Council decided to meet today?” His eyes shifted to Julia, but she averted her gaze.
"It is difficult to convey the extent of my mother's efforts, but we have now gained the upper hand in the council," he said, winking at her. “It was unanimously agreed that an urgent meeting should be convened, today.”
Marcus was not interested in the specifics of her success. “I see.” He murmured.
“So let's proceed with the next steps and conclude this, shall we?”
Marcus nodded. "Indeed."
By noon, Geta and Julia's carriage had arrived at the Roman Forum. As they made their way through the streets, they were accompanied by other soldiers and guards who appeared to be loyal to Geta for the time being. The members of the Senate were already assembled in the Curia Julia. While Geta and Julia proceeded up the stairs, Marcus followed at a distance, taking care to observe his surroundings. However, the issue was not external, but rather within the Council chamber itself. Some of the Council members were absent, and it was not difficult to discern which ones. The other members expressed their concerns about their absence, and Geta was insistent on commencing the session. However, this was contrary to the law. Therefore, they decided to wait, but this was about to exacerbate the situation further. Marcus was concerned that this endless waiting time might be a sign of something bad.
‘What is this place? Where are you taking me?’ you asked Macrinus. You followed him through narrow streets and then through a tunneled passage into a large building.
"You will see it soon enough, my lady." He replied confidently.
You didn't want to come to this strange place with that bastard, but you had no choice. He had his plans for today, no doubt about it. You soon passed through the stone walls that resembled those under the Colosseum and observed a group of men. They were all members of the Senate, and you knew them at once by their white togas.
"What's the meaning of this?" Your voice was loud.
Macrinus ignored you, and the members of the Senate looked at you with a hint of hesitation.
"You really brought her," said one of them.
"I always get what I want, consul. You should have known this by now." Macrinus grinned then clasped his hands. "Now that we have the princess, we shall move on to the next stage."
"Consul Macrinus, I'm not entirely convinced if that's the best course of action. I think it is unwise to abduct General Acasius' wife, the princess, and force them to cooperate." One of them said.
"Council must have met by now. Geta's guards will be looking for us."
"And do not forget the Acacius's soldiers!"
"Cease the complaining!" Macrinus yelled at them. "Why can't you see the opportunity that I see? They can't start the session without us, yet they can't make a decision either. And as for Geta, he is not like Caracalla." He turned towards you. "He values his sister more than you realise.” Then looked at them once again. "So, Acacius will bring us Geta with his own hands and hand him over, and I will kill him. This will make my path to the throne. Then we'll all win. See? It's straightforward. There's no need to complain like old ladies, is there?”
"You'll all be punished for this!" You shouted. “You'll lose your statues, your title, everything you have! Release me at once, I'm warning you!"
The consuls exchanged glances, and Macrinus became visibly upset and approached and grabbed your arm.
"I see you've been very talkative since I last saw you, Aurelia. However, you're wasting your breath. I'll take your brother's life eventually and become an emperor.”
"It will never happen!" You barked. He touched your hair, and you turned your head to the other side in disgust. "You will witness it. I will make sure of that." He looked at the guards. "Take the princess away and lock her up."
"Let go of me!" You resisted, struggling. But the guards ignored you.
It didn't seem like an easy situation to get out of this time. Your chest tightened as you considered the possibility that he might win. If that were to happen, it would undoubtedly mean losing everything. It would be disastrous.
You descended the stone stairs and were taken aback by what you saw. There were cells with iron bars, like a dungeon. You stopped and looked at the guards.
“Please keep walking, my lady.” His tone was stern.
When you refused, the guards looked at each other and one of them grabbed your arm.
"'Let go of my arm!" You yelled, trying to fight back but to no avail. The other one opened the door to one of the cells and they forced you inside.
"I am your princess! You can't do this! Can't you hear me?"
They kept ignoring you, and locked the cell. You gripped the bars.
"Please, don't do this, let me out! Please!" Your voice was pleading this time, but it seemed to have no effect on them. One of them stood by the bars and the other near the stairs. You gave up begging, turned your back on them, and looked into the cell. It was almost the filthiest place you had ever been. The stone walls looked like weathered rock. The floor was dirty, dusty and filthy. You were so tired, that your feet were about to betray you, but you had no intention of sitting down or leaning against the wall, so you decided to cross your arms and just wait. You had never felt so helpless, not even when you were running away from Flavius in the woods. There was nothing more horrible than having your freedom taken away, the feeling of being trapped made your chest ache.
Before long, you heard footsteps echoing through the hall. You looked in that direction and saw the guards nodding to Macrinus. He had his usual self-assured look on his face, bowing respectfully to you as if he had done nothing wrong.
You went over to the iron bars. “Get me out of here at once!’
He gave a little smirk. “I'm really sorry about the poor facilities, my lady, but I am a little unsure that you'd behave yourself. After all, you have a very stubborn and determined temperament.”
You pursed your lips. “What's this place anyway? What gives you the right to lock me in here?”
Macrinus put his hands on the iron bars and observed as if he were seeing them for the first time. “This is where the gladiators stay. They get their first training at this school before heading to the Colosseum."
"Do I look like a gladiator to you?"
Macrinus laughed. "Of course not, my lady. Let's just say I'm playing it safe."
"Locking me up won't convince me of anything."
"Is that so? Hmm, maybe not you, but I think I could easily persuade your brother or your husband. They both care a lot about you after all."
You took a step towards him. "What exactly are you planning? As soon as you ascend to the throne, you will exile my husband, declare our marriage null and void, and force me to marry you?”
“More or less, yes.”
"That's not going to happen! I'm never going to marry you, not in this life, or the next!" Your voice bounced off the cold stone walls with a ringing sound.
Macrinus seemed serious this time. "Then you'll be stuck under home detention for the rest of your life. There won't be a general husband coming to your rescue, nor a foolish brother in hopeless in love with you either."
"Shut your damn mouth!" Your body was shaking with anger.
"I'm giving you one last chance, Aurelia. Think carefully. Once Geta's gone, I'll be the new emperor. And then you'll do what I want." Macrinus put his hands on the bars just above yours. "'I thought it would be better to exile Acacius for his heroism, so that would not provoke a public outrage, but if you try my patience and resist, I will make you watch him die in the Colosseum. I swear I will."
You swallowed, even the thought was enough to make your heart ache. "I am carrying his child, how can you be so heartless, so damned?”
"A child?” He laughed. “As a medicus I'm sure you can find ways to get rid of that.”
"Damn you!" You reached through the bars to hit him in the face, but he grabbed your hand. He made you put your hand on his collar. There was a marking on his chest.
"Take a look at this! Do you know what this is? It's your father's mark!"
You observed the mark. "Were you a slave?"
Macrinus released your hand and you pulled it back.
"I was, during your father's time, but I managed to get into the senate. He was a strong and powerful man, your father. A soldier, a dictator, and a tough opponent. I learned a lot from him, Aurelia. But I still couldn't gain his trust, no matter how hard I tried. Fortunately, his sons weren't like him." He pointed his finger at you. "You're more like your father than they are. I realised the first time I saw you in Egypt. Look, no matter how much you refuse, you can't escape what's coming. I will get what I deserve."
"No, that will never happen. You will lose. No one will remember you."
This time he sounded angry. "I made you a princess! You got your title back thanks to me! How about a little gratitude?”
"I was planning to come here anyway. Vicius and I had been planning to travel to Rome together to find my true family. If circumstances had been different the rebellion hadn't broken out, and the Roman soldiers hadn't come to put it down. That night..." You took a moment to collect your thoughts. Despite the pain that these memories still evoke, you have learned to embrace them because they have led you to meet Marcus. "He had already told me everything, except who my father was. We were going to open the letter together as soon as we arrived in Rome. You only hastened the process.”
"Vicius," he said, sounding annoyed. He then took a deep breath. "I've had some success in this process, but also had a few failures, and that man is one of them. If he'd handed you over to me then, before Geta and Caracalla ascended the throne, things might be different now."
His disrespect for Vicius was unacceptable and made you even angrier.
"What about Gaius? Isn't he also a great failure of yours?"
"Well, not entirely. If he hadn't taken your father's letter to him as an offer to marry you, who knows, he might still be alive now. He was the one who caused his own death. It's in my interest for him to die if there's any chance of him ascending to the throne." He smiled, but then his face turned angry again. "But he's not the biggest failure or obstacle." He said as he approached the bars, his face was close enough to touch the surface of the iron bars. "Acacius. He's the biggest obstacle that needs to be removed from my path, and I'm going to make sure that I do."
You brought your face closer to his. "My husband, Acacius, will be the end of you. You can be sure of that.”
He put a hand to his chin as if he was thinking. "I am doubt about that Aurelia. Because you see, soon, he will be preoccupied with bringing Geta to me. And once he does, I will take your brother's life and that will be the end of your husband as well." He grinned. "My plan is working perfectly and I will get what I want."
"He is not stupid. He will not fall into your trap.”
“He has no choice. He'll do anything to get you back, I know that."
You knew he was right and you hated it.
"Enough talk. Time to take action." He turned towards the guard. "If there's any trouble, kill her."
You swallowed, trying to stay calm. He then bowed his head to you and headed towards the stairs.
As time passed, the atmosphere in the Curia Julia became increasingly tense. Marcus was at breaking point, and Geta was no different. As Octavius rushed into the hall, almost tripping on the stairs, everyone looked at him with curiosity.
"Sir, you need to come outside," he said to Marcus, keeping his voice low.
"Is something wrong?"
Geta stood up and walked towards them.
"What's going on?"
Octavius’ face was grave as he was about to give them bad news. He looked at the councilors and then at his general. "Sir, Macrinus sent a guard to speak with you..." Octavius looked down in distress.
Marcus frowned, wondering if he was about to hear what he feared most.
"What does he want? Speak at once!" Geta shouted.
Julia tried to calm the council members.
"Princess Aurelia..." Octavius exhaled a deep breath. "Macrinus has abducted her-"
Without even thinking, Marcus stormed to the entrance to leave the hall. Geta followed him, but his mother grabbed his arm.
"Your Majesty! You must stay here-"
"You do that!" he said, roughly pulling his arm away from her.
Marcus rushed down the stairs and, noticing the guard Octavius had pointed at, grabbed his sword and held it to the man's throat. The guard let out a little gasp. "Tell me where she is now!' He roared.
All the soldiers and guards tensed and gripped the hilt of their swords.
"General Acacius, Sir Macrinus is waiting for you at his villa." He said, out of breath, struggling to get the words out. "He also said that he wants you to bring Emperor Geta with you."
“How dare he summon me like this?” Geta shouted. "Acacius, round up your men, and let's move to take him out now, shall we?"
The soldiers looked at their general. Seizing the opportunity of Marcus' thoughtful demeanor, Macrinus' guard took a step back.
"Sir Macrinus only wants the general and Emperor Geta." He stated arrogantly. "If you care about the Princess, you'd better do as-”
Suddenly a schwing sound was heard and Octavius's sword severed his jugular, and he collapsed, tumbling down the stairs and staining the marble steps with his blood. They all watched him die with a deadpan expression.
"Why wait? We must leave now Acacius," Geta touched his shoulder.
Marcus shook his head. “No, he'll kill you the moment I take you there, I can't let it.”
"I'm flattered, general, but this is your wife we're talking about, my sister."
Marcus sheathed his sword. "I am aware, but we must act wisely. If we fall into his trap, it will be the end of us all, which is exactly what he wants us to do."
"So we'll just leave Aurelia in his filthy hands?"
Marcus gave him a deadly look. "Don't you dare speak like you care more about my wife than I do!"
"Then act like you do!" Geta barked.
“General Acacius! Emperor Geta!”
They both turned to face the man calling to them. A man in a black cloak, familiar to Marcus, came up the stairs and approached them. The soldiers tensed, but Marcus gestured to them that it was all right.
"Who the hell are you?" Geta asked, squinting at the man.
"I am Lextus, Your Majesty," the man said, bowing. He looked at Marcus and then back at Geta. "I have something very important to tell you, both of you."
"Man of yours?" Geta asked Marcus.
"No, he is a relative of yours, from Leptis Magna, didn't your mother tell you?"
Geta gave him a dirty look.
"Speak up, what's so important?" Marcus asked.
"We've been tracking Macrinus for a while and we know where he is."
"If that's what you wanted to say, you've come in vain," Geta said, pointing to the guard's lifeless body lying at the bottom of the stairs.. "That cunt Macrinus is already waiting for us to go to him."
"It's a trap, he's luring you into it, Your Majesty. The Lady Aurelia is not with him, she is elsewhere," he said, and as soon as he mentioned your name, Marcus and Geta's eyes locked on him. "We know where he's keeping her, that's what I came here to tell you."
Marcus grabbed him by the collar of his cloak. "How do you know? When did you see her? Speak at once!"
"The General asked you a question!" Geta demanded.
Lexus hadn't expected either of them to react this way, he had to take a breath to speak. "Praetorians with Macrinus' lead intercepted Lady Aurelia's carriage in the alleyway. We followed the carriage, which took us straight to Ludus Magnus. We saw Lady Aurelia enter with the guards, and I have men stationed there to keep an eye on things. We are unsure why, but we know some consuls are there."
Geta looked at Marcus. "Why would he take her to the damn gladiator training school? What is he trying to do?"
"Tell me, is Macrinus still there or in his villa?" Marcus demanded.
"He left a few hours ago, we believe he went to there."
"We need to get to Aurelia now!" Geta said.
"The guards will be watching us. If we head there now, they'll inform him. Or even worse, they might hurt her before we get there." Marcus said through clenched teeth.
"What are we going to do then?"
Marcus thought for a moment. He had to think fast and come up with a plan, but he wasn't sure what to do.
It was time to think strategically and take action. As a soldier and general, he was an expert in this. "We need to make some time," he muttered.
"So let's not waste, standing here," Geta whined, adjusting his crown.
Watching him, a plan came to Marcus' mind. "Your Majesty, we must take you to Palatine Hill immediately."
"Are you mad? Macrinus's men are all over the place. Didn't you just say so yourself?”
Marcus exhaled. “That's why we have to leave now. I'm asking you to trust me.”
Geta narrowed his eyes. "In the past, I wouldn't have trusted you, but now I think I do."
"You don't have much choice, after all," Marcus teased as they hurried down the stairs together.
Once Geta was in the carriage, Marcus called Aris over. "Head to the Field of Mars right away and let them know I've ordered the troops to assemble around Macrinus' villa. Try to be as stealthy as you can."
"Yes, sir." He said and quickly walked in the opposite direction.
"The rest of you, come with me," Marcus said. They all nodded and got on their horses.
Geta called out to him as the carriage was moving. "Acacius, I hope you know what you're doing!"
He still didn't fully trust the other guards accompanying Geta, so he didn't want to tell him his plan yet.
"I need both your patience and your trust, Your Majesty."
"You've got both as long as you save my sister.”
Marcus felt his heart beating faster with worry. He really wanted to come and get you out of there as soon as possible. But he had to think carefully. He knew that if he acted without thinking things through, he might lose you. Besides, he had to be absolutely sure that he got Macrinus this time too.
The guards at Palatine Hill were surprised to see the carriage coming earlier than expected. Geta stepped into the courtyard with Marcus. He tried to take Geta away from the guards, however, two of them came over to them.
"General, we want to help you. We are loyal to the emperor Geta, you can trust us."
Marcus seemed unsure.
"They are in a dilemma because their commander has not yet been chosen, Acacius. Macrinus' side and mine." Geta explained.
"Yes, there are others outside who are on Macrinus' side, sir. But I'm not, and my team here are all loyal to you, highness.”
"You were always so keen to be a Praetorian," Marcus said, looking at the guard. He realised that he was his childhood friend.
"Do you remember me? I thought you might have forgotten." He gave a little smile.
"Yes, you weren't eager to join the army, so I didn't hassle you about it too much."
"I wanted to serve the emperor, General Acacius."
"I see," said Marcus, smiling back.
"I was really proud when I saw you become a general of Rome, you know."
Marcus nodded his thanks.
"That's very touching gentleman, but can you tell us what to do now, our glorious general?" Geta said impatiently.
"Cato!" Marcus called him to his side.
He came running at once. "Sir!"
Marcus put his hand on his shoulder. "We need your help."
Geta frowned. "Isn't that your squire? How can he help us?"
Marcus smiled confidently. "He has the same hair colour and the same size as you, your majesty."
"Excuse me?”
"We're going to confuse them. Could you take off your clothes and give them to Cato?"
Geta opened his eyes wide in surprise. "What did you just say? Tell me you are joking!"
Geta wasn't the only one taken aback. Cato and Octavius exchanged glances, clearly surprised.
Marcus let out a sigh. "He'll take your place, so we won't put you in danger."
"So this is your master plan, Acacius? You seem to have forgotten how clever that cunt is. Sooner or later, he'll figure out that your squire doesn't look handsome as I do." He said smugly.
"It's not really a concern," Marcus said, grasping Cato's arm. "This buys us some time, at least. Until I get the Aurelia out of there."
They walked together to Geta's chamber. Geta grumbled the whole way but seemed to be convinced at last. Cato looked a bit out of place in the emperor's clothes. He glanced at them hesitantly. Marcus couldn't help but grin when he saw him in Geta's attire. Geta sized him up.
"Ugh, you look like another evil twin of mine! That is all I need!”
"Forgive me, Your Majesty." Cato said, bowing his head.
Marcus held out his hand to Geta. "Your Majesty, can you give me your crown too?"
"Gods above! This is disrespectful and unacceptable, Acacius!"
Marcus rolled his eyes. "It's just a symbol, an item. It has no significance. You don't need the crown to prove that you are an emperor, do you?"
“Huh, you just enjoy lecturing me, don't you?" Geta pursed his lips.
"We're running out of time here."
"Fine!" He gave his crown to him. Cato held his breath as Marcus placed the crown on his head.
"Hmph, if this won't work, I swear on Vesta's fire that I will punish you Acacius."
Marcus smirked in response.
Geta tugged fabric of his gown which made him look like a commoner. '"Whatever, let's get this done as soon as possible and then I shall drink wine until I get drunk so I can forget all about it." He refused to look at their faces as he left his chamber.
As they descended the stairs, Marcus touched Cato on the shoulder. "Keep your face hidden at all costs. Even if they can't see it from a distance, there's still a risk."
"I'll do my best, general."
Marcus tapped his back. "May the Gods be on our side."
And as they approached the entrance to the great courtyard, they put their plan into action.
"Your Majesty, please," Marcus gestured to Geta.
Geta pursed his lips and involuntarily pulled the deep black cloak further up over his head. The gate opened and Marcus approached the carriage with Cato who was in the Emperor's toga, covering his face as naturally as possible. Cato struggled and pretended to resist him. The guards waiting outside, watching them, did not seem to suspect anything. Marcus swiftly pushed Cato into the carriage and told the coachman to start the horses. He then turned to the guards.
"Lead the way!" He said to them. They kicked their horses toward in front of the carriage. Marcus and the others got on their own horses, following the carriage from behind.
The other guards, those who had stayed behind in the palace to protect the real emperor Geta, put on their cloaks over their armour. They were going to take him back to Curia Julia in secret. It was already pretty quiet, as everyone else had left to accompany the false emperor. As per the plan, Marcus must turn his horse around halfway down the road and head for the Domus Vectiliana (Ludus Magnus).
After all, they were acting as if they didn't know where you were, and leading Geta straight into Macrinus' hands which it was not. So the plan was working perfectly. A little later, Marcus glanced at Octavius, and turned his horse round, making the guards surprised. The carriage kept going forward. They looked at each other, unsure of what to do. Their leader cursed and called out to some of them.
"Go after the general! The others stay with me!”
Marcus looked back over his shoulder at the guards who were chasing him as he rode his horse at a gallop. There were five of them. He needed to get rid of them without attracting attention.
"Come on!" He challenged them, drew his sword and turned his horse. He had one of them in his sights. He aimed at his leg and lunged before he could draw his sword, and the man let out a groan and fell off his horse. They were getting closer to the streets. The others yelled and drew their swords, rushing to attack Marcus but he was quick to dodge the attacks of two of them and managed to knock them off their horses. He rode his horse into the alleys to get rid of the rest. People screamed and ran to get out of the way to avoid being crushed by the horses.
"Where the hell is he heading to?" One of them asked the other.
"I think he found out where the princess is! Go there and warn the others before he gets there!”
As soon as they said that, they were both struck down by arrows from nowhere and fell to the ground. Marcus turned and saw Lexus and his men. He stopped his horse and nodded his thanks. Then, without wasting any time, he ordered the curious people out of the way and kicked his horse forward again. Since there was no obstacle in his way, he should be heading to get to you now.
The minutes and hours passed by, and the pain in your legs became increasingly difficult to bear. And you gave up. As you sat on the floor in the cold, smelly, dirty cell, you played with the wedding ring on your finger. Your mind was racing with questions. Why wasn't anyone coming? Or is it too late for everything now? Marcus, Geta... Your heart ached. It was torture, waiting there helplessly, hoping for rescue desperately, unable to do anything. You suddenly felt a pressure under your belly, right where your womb was. You put your hands right on it.
"Ssshh, calm down, my little one. I know you've been through a lot, but hang in there a little longer, please. Your father will come to save us, I promise you. Take his strength, take his courage and hold on. Our little miracle. We will always love you and protect you. So please try to hang in there.”
All of a sudden, a few shouts and the sound of swords clashing came from upstairs. The guards immediately tensed up and gripped the hilts of their swords. You jumped to your feet, unlike them, you felt excitement. Your heart was filled with hope. The sound of the iron gate opening loudly reverberated off the stone walls, and a moment later you saw a guard rolling down the stairs with the deafening sound of his iron armour ringing in your ears. The guards immediately drew their swords at someone on the stairs. First, you heard his angry roar and then Marcus himself rushed down the stairs, kicked one of the guards, and pushed him against the wall. The other swung his sword at him, Marcus crouched and lunged and cut his leg.
"Marcus!" You called out to him cheerfully.
He looked at you and smiled, but the other guard lunged at him, waving his sword.
"Marcus look out!" You pointed at him.
He managed to avoid the lunge at the last moment and hit his opponent in the back with the handle of his sword, causing him to stumble. As he lunged at him again, Marcus drew his pugio and knocked his sword out of his hand with both sword and pugio. And with a really neat move, he cut his neck. The stone walls were covered in a red, rusty-smelling liquid. You ran over to the iron bars and grabbed them. Marcus wiped the blood from his face with the back of his hand and looked at you. He looked at you with an intense gaze, his brown eyes sparkling.
"My lady." He said in a soft, velvety voice. "Forgive me for being late." He reached his hand through the bars to touch your face. "How could he imprison you in such a vile place? Did he hurt you?"
You grasped his hand with both of yours and kissed it. "No, I'm alright, don't worry." You forced a smile.
"How can I not, my love? My beloved. My soul. My breath." He then let out a sigh of relief, stroking your chin with his thumb. "Thank the Gods I found you safe and sound." He then gripped the iron bars and jerked them angrily, cursing.
"That man has the key," you said, pointing to one of the guards lying on the floor. Marcus went to him, bent down, and turned his lifeless body to check.
"Geta? Is he okay?”
"He is for now. We don't have much time, though. We need to get out of here now." He took the keys from the man and approached you. He unlocked the cell, setting you free. You took a step towards him and reached out to hug him.
"My lady, there is some blood on me-" You wrapped your arms around him, resting your head on his chest. "...and I'm not very clean." He finished his sentence with a murmur.
"I don't care." You said, closing your eyes and hugging him tighter. You ignored the blood smearing your cheek from his armour and the smell of it.
He lifted his hand to touch your hair, but his hand was covered in blood. He clenched his hand into a fist and wrapped his arm around you, inhaling your scent without touching you. He then pulled back.
"Aurelia, we have to leave, now." His voice was firm.
You nodded and walked towards the stairs while avoiding stepping in the puddle of blood on the ground. Marcus noticed your nervousness and wrapped his arms around you, lifting you into his lap. You looked at his face as he walked up the stairs with you in his arms. He looked very serious and stern, and you could guess what he was feeling, and what he was thinking. It must have been hard for him to find you in a situation where he almost lost you somehow, and to fight to make sure that didn't happen. To kill someone every time, to have blood on his hands. But for Marcus, finding you safe and sound was enough, he didn't care about the rest. He walked through the countless guards lying lifeless on the ground and carried you out in his arms. You were angry that he had to kill them because of Macrinus. It was all his fault, so many people had died because of him so far. Marcus lowered you to the ground beside his horse.
"It may be a bit of a rough ride, but try to hold on, will you?"
You nodded. "I can manage.”
He smiled and moved the saddle back a little so you could sit on it. He then settled in front of you. You put your arms around his waist. Marcus took hold of your arms around him. "Hold on tighter, princess."
Even though you couldn't see his face, you knew he was smiling. He grabbed the horse's reins and kicked his horse forward. You wrapped your arms around him as tightly as you could. With each jolt, your cheek bumped against his back.
"Where are we heading now?" You asked.
As you passed the Colosseum, you noticed the sun was setting over the hills ahead.
"First, I'll take you to the Curia Julia."
You tilted your head to get a better look at his face. "I'm not coming with you?"
He raised an eyebrow and looked at you out of the corner of his eye. "No, Aurelia, I've got a few platoons of my soldiers heading to the area around Macrinus' villa. We need to get ready for the upcoming skirmish."
"You're going to fight the Praetorian Guards?"
He sighed, “I hope not. But if it's necessary to finish off Macrinus, yes.”
You swallowed, nothing was over yet. "Why Curia Julia?"
"Geta is there with the other consuls. The rest of the guards will be guarding them. It's the safest place for you right now.”
Marcus pulled up his horse near the stairs of the Curia Julia. He dismounted and then led you down. A few of the guards came over and nodded at you.
"If there's any trouble, make sure you keep Princess Aurelia and Emperor Geta safe." He spoke to one of them in a firm tone.
"We shall protect them with our lives, general! You just finish him off!" The man put his hand on his chest. "Vae victis.”
Marcus replied. "Vae victis." Then he mounted his horse quickly and looked at you.
"Come back safely!" You said, looking at him.
He nodded and turned his horse around, kicking it forward. You watched him leave until he was out of sight.
"This way, my lady," the guard said.
You felt abandoned as you climbed the stairs with him. Soon you heard a familiar voice.
"Sister!" You looked towards Geta's voice and your eyes widened in surprise. He was wearing a black cloak over regular attire. And what's more, he was in an official building like the Curia Julia with it.
He hugged you and pulled back to look at you. "I was so worried about you, are you alright?"
You nodded your head, it was a little strange to see him like this. "What happened to your fancy toga and crown?"
"Your husband's ingenious plan." He said, rolling his eyes. "Come, rest inside. Your face is as white as marble." He put his arm around you and pulled you inside.
As dusk fell, Marcus was urging his horse to a rapid pace, hastening towards Macrinus' villa. What he saw coming down the hill wasn't quite what he'd expected. His troops had already arrived and it was clear that a battle had taken place and probably been won, but Macrinus was nowhere to be seen.
"General!" One of the soldiers recognised him.
Marcus looked around and noticed Cato in the distance, who was wounded near the carriage ahead. Felix and Aris came over to him. "What the hell happened?" He asked them.
"Sir, the plan worked, but Macrinus wounded Cato and then they attacked us. We managed to kill them all, but unfortunately, he escaped and we couldn't stop him."
"How do you mean he escaped?" Marcus’ voice was like a roar.
"Octavius and a few soldiers went after him, sir."
"Which way did they go?"
"That way," Aris said, pointing down the hill.
"I'll go after them. All of you gather around at once. Take the wounded ones to the Field of Mars."
"Sir, what about them?"
Marcus looked in the direction he was pointing and saw the members of the senate who were loyal to Macrinus. They were looking at him with a look of concern on their faces.
"The rest of you, take them to the Roman Forum and wait there for my arrival." He said, looking at them from a distance. "Can you confirm that the other troops are still controlling the entrances and exits to the city?"
"Yes, sir. The city is currently sealed off."
"Good." He said, pulling on the reins of his horse, which reared up with a loud neigh. "Make them assemble at once and get moving!" He commanded.
As he rode, perhaps faster than he had ever ridden before, determined to catch Macrinus at any cost, he realised that he missed his horse, Dromos. He promised himself that when all this was over, he would return home and see his old friend again. And then he could go out riding with you again. However, at the moment, he just had to focus on finding and getting rid of the source of all his recent problems. Before long, he heard the sound of swords clashing, so he rode towards it. He saw his soldiers and the guards were fighting, but they seemed to be getting along.
"Octavius is following him, sir!" a soldier pointed ahead. Then he killed the guard he was fighting, and he jumped on his horse to follow his general. The other one did the same too.
Marcus was soon excited to realise that Octavius was running after Macrinus on foot. He was very close. Marcus called out to the soldiers behind him.
"Block his way!”
They did as he said and rode their horses around either side of Macrinus, to block him from going any further. He realised this and started running backwards. Marcus seized the chance and leaped off his horse to capture him. They ended up rolling on the ground together. Macrinus tried to fight back, but he was so tired that he gave up and collapsed, taking a few punches to the face from Marcus in the process.
The others walked towards their General. All of them stared down at the panting, treacherous, sixty-year-old dark-skinned man. Marcus drew his sword, Macrinus cursed, crawled back. But Marcus did something that even surprised himself. He thrust his sword into the ground right next to Macrinus.
Octavius touched his shoulder, "Sir." There were a lot of questions in his tone.
‘We're heading to the Roman Forum. Bring him along."
The soldiers looked at each other, confused.
"But sir..." Octavius protested.
"This cunt must be punished by the emperor Geta himself."
Macrinus gave a hysterical laugh, but it was clear he was upset with that decision.
"You don't deserve a painless death," he said, looking at him. "I'm sure the emperor has far more creative ideas for you."
The atmosphere in the Curia Julia was palpably tense, with everyone visibly anxious and on the brink of exhaustion. The noise was unbearable and it was giving you a headache. But Geta was determined. He had no intention of sending anyone home yet. This will be solved today, he said. He made you sit in the imperial seat that belonged to Caracalla, since you were exhausted, you didn't object, despite Julia's glare. Furthermore, it was clear that the Consuls had other matters to discuss, and did not care the fact that you were sitting there. Fortunately the murmuring of the crowd was soon heard outside, and everyone turned their heads in the direction of the footsteps approaching the hall.
Your heart pounded with both excitement and nervousness. You felt immense relief when you saw Marcus a short while later. Geta leapt to his feet and looked at him, his eyes wide open. Since you focused on Marcus' face and only later realised who he had brought to the middle of the great hall. When Macrinus fell to his knees on the floor, the consuls first looked at him in astonishment and then started shouting.
"Traitor!"
"He should be beheaded!"
"Throw him from Tarpeian Rock!"
Geta raised his hand and they all fell silent. You and Marcus looked at each other from a distance, wondering why he hadn't killed him. However, he was in a good mood and you were grateful to finally see his sincere smile.
"General Acacius." Geta called him. "On behalf of the Roman people, I am grateful to you for capturing this traitor and bringing him before me, before the Council. He will be judged here, before Roman law, and his final sentence will be given. The council is now in session."
"Your Majesty," someone stated. "I am afraid a council session is not yet feasible in these circumstances. Since your crown is absent and the attire you are wearing is not fit for this occasion. Furthermore, I must point out that it is inappropriate for two women to be present at this time. I demand that the necessary conditions be imposed."
And they all murmured, some agreeing and some objecting.
"Denied!" Geta said firmly. The man frowned and sat down. "Even without my crown, my true identity remains unchanged. Also, the women you are referring to are my mother, your empress, and my sister, your Princess, Aurelia."
Marcus looked at him with a confident half-smile. You could see the pride in his look.
Geta continued. "If there are no other ridiculous objections I will continue. You have all been waiting here all morning, so I will formalise things for the sake of Rome before I tire you out any further."
He silenced the murmurs and continued. His speech took everyone by surprise, including you. At the end of the session, the verdict was reached: Caracalla was declared a tyrant, and all his decrees, orders, wills, and other belongings were declared null and void. Macrinus tried to object several times, but no one dared to stand up for him or support him. Now it was his turn to be punished.
"He was really into training these gladiators and investing in them. Then I'd like to give him a fitting punishment." Geta said with a grin. Then he turned to him. "You will be thrown into the Colosseum, along with the rest of your followers. Your fate will be decided by the gods and the people of Rome." He looked at the guards. "Now get him out of my sight, I don't want to see his ugly face anymore."
Ignoring the pleas of the councilors who had helped Macrinus, Geta closed the session and everyone began to murmur once more. He came over to you, a big grin on his face.
"I can't wait to see that wretched Macrinus in the Colosseum tomorrow!"
You smiled in response. "You did well, brother."
He smiled widely. Marcus approached you both. Geta looked at him.
"Acacius, I'm surprised you didn't kill him, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't glad. It'll be fun tomorrow!" He said, clapping his hands. He winked at you and then went over to his mother.
You looked at Marcus. "I think it's finally over now. We can rest easy, can't we?"
"Yes, my lady," he said, holding your hand. "It's over now.”
You just stared at each other for a while, speaking through your eyes. The councilors left the hall, murmuring, while Geta and his mother had a brief argument. All of this faded into the background for you.
"Looks like we'll be spending another night on Palatine Hill."
Marcus smirked. "One last night. Then tomorrow we'll be heading back to the villa, our home."
You smiled. "Thank the Gods. I miss our home so much."
"I know, me too. Shall we leave now? I need a good bath, and as my wife, you can help me, can't you?" He smirked.
You lifted your head to whisper in his ear. "Anything you wish, my love.”
You arrived at Domus Severiana in the late afternoon. As soon as you stepped into the courtyard, you ordered the slaves to prepare the balneum for you two.
The stone walls of the balneum were softly caressed by the soothing steam of the hot water, while a variety of flowers floated on the surface, their sweet scent creating a tranquil atmosphere in this spacious bath house. Marcus was in the water, his head thrown back and his eyes closed. You were right behind him, running your slender fingers over his flesh, rubbing his arms and shoulders, helping him to recover from the fatigue of the day.
"Your healing touch has refreshed my body and soul," he murmured. Then he took your hand and brought it to his lips, his collarbone, his chest, running it all over his body. Then he turned towards you, his movement causing some of the water to spill over. You swallowed as his eyes traveled over your naked body, your heart racing with excitement. He reached out for you, grabbed you around the waist, and pulled you into the water. "Now it's my turn to touch you.”
This time the water overflowed, and a lot of the flowers on the surface ended up floating away.
You giggled as Marcus ran his lips along your neck to your collarbone. "You meant to touch me with your lips? But I am in the water, so how are you going to touch the rest of my body I wonder?" You asked playfully.
"I sense a challenge." He murmured, his warm breath brushing against your collarbone. "I shall accept." He then grabbed your hips and lifted you, placing you on his shoulders. His head was between your thighs, your heels touched his back. You moaned with pleasure and laughed as his lips touched your folds. Your back arched instinctively as you felt his tongue in your most sensitive spot. You gripped his grey hair tightly with your fingers.
"Marcus! I am going to- ow!"
"Isn't it too soon, my love?"
You looked down at his face and saw that he was grinning.
"No, I meant to say that I'm going to fall, not come.”
He pulled his head back, supported your back with one hand and lowered you down onto the edge of the tub. "I've been a bit busy, I must have misheard." He grinned again. Without getting out of the water, he pulled you closer and continued where he left off. He stuck his marvellous tongue out and licked your most sensitive spot. You gasped and hitched your legs around his head, drawing him closer. He rolled his tongue up and down as he used his hand to probe at your lower lips. His beard tickled you as your breathing quickened. Adrenaline flooded your body as your pulled on his hair, bringing him closer, as he sucked and consumed you mercilessly. You bucked into him and he responded in turn with a little nip. You threw your head back as you gasped once more, feeling like you were losing your mind. Shaking, sweating, your entire body pulsed with pleasure as you clamped your legs around him.
You moaned loudly. "I am definitely coming this time!"
"Come for me, my love. Let me taste you.”
And immediately after his command, you came with a loud moan. Marcus kissed your belly and grabbed you by the hips, pulling you into the water. He kissed you on the lips with great passion, you wrapped your arms around him. The water made everything a little slippery, but Marcus was determined to grip your hips roughly, puling you closer. You wrapped your legs firmly against his waist, feeling his need press against you in the most delicious way. You couldn't stop your moans with each and every thrust and neither could he, and you began to feel him deeply inside you, he thrust deeper and deeper, pushing you both closer and closer to the edge. He grabbed your hair, gathering behind the nape of your neck and pulling your face closer, claiming your mouth with his teeth and imploring tongue. And you came for him once more, moaning into his mouth. He then reached his climax right after with a groan.
Breathing heavily, you slumped in the tub, he was holding you close, kissing your chin then beneath your ear. You listened to the peaceful sound of water echoing off the damp walls until your breathing calmed. Without pulling out, he wrapped his arms around you and you rested your head on his shoulder. Once your both breathing and racing hearts had calmed, he stood up and led you out of the tub too.
On the following day, the capital of Rome was on the brink of witnessing one of the most momentous days in its history. The Council's decision, Geta's proclaiming absolute emperorship to the entire populace, was followed by the announcement of the execution of the traitor Macrinus and his supporters in the Colosseum. As the sun reached its zenith, people were making their way towards the colossal structure, engaged in quiet conversation.
The emperor's carriage soon arrived near the Colosseum, where the people greeted Geta with great enthusiasm. You and Marcus were in the other carriage, which you got out of together and waved to the people who were cheering your name. The trumpets were blown, and as you walked towards the Imperial tribune, the announcer called out Geta's name. Everyone stood up and cheered him enthusiastically.
“Caesar! Caesar! Caesar! Caesar!”
Geta raised his hands and gave them the salute, then turned to you and held out his hand. And then they announced your name. You took Geta's hand and stood next to him.
"Princess Aurelia!"
The crowd clapped and cheered even more enthusiastically. You placed your right hand on your chest and saluted the crowd. It was then time for Marcus's name to be announced.
“General Marcus Justus Acacius!”
The crowd roared his name over and over.
“Acacius! Acacius! Acacius! Acacius!”
Marcus gave them a smile and a salute in return. Caracalla's seat has been removed and two seats have been added on either side of the emperor, as per his orders. At Geta's gesture, you took the seat next to him, and Marcus sat next to you.
And the trumpets sounded again. The announcer cut them off and carried on:
"For his treachery against the life of the Emperor and the Roman Empire, Marcus Opellius Macrinus is declared an enemy of the people. He has been stripped of his membership of the Senate and all those who aided and abetted him will bring to the arena in chains today, to face judgement, your judgement, people of Rome!"
When the iron gate sprung open, Macrinus and his supporters were brought into the middle of the arena in chains. The crowd booed them.
"Traitor! Traitor! Traitor! Traitor!"
The Announcer called the crowd to silence, listed his crimes one by one, which Macrinus replied with a smug smile.
Crowded roared. “Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!”
Geta stood up and went over to the balustrade. But then he glanced back at you and beckoned you over. You looked at Marcus and stood up, grabbing his hand and pulling him along with you. He didn’t resist and followed you.
"What do you think, sister? Mercy?"
All three of you were looking at Macrinus. Julia, who was watching you from behind, seemed angry with Geta for not calling her mother to his side. She crossed her arms and made a face.
Looking at Macrinus from a distance, you shook your head. "No mercy." You said firmly.
Geta smiled and looked at Marcus. "Acacius?"
"Having mercy on the traitor is a betrayal to the innocent!" Said Marcus without taking his eyes off Macrinus. You smiled and held his hand, he was so right.
Geta put his arms up. "The gods have spoken!" And then he lowered both hands down. The executioner nodded and separated Macrinus's head from his body in a single stroke.
The crowd cheered. It was the first time you'd ever felt so relieved that a man was dead. Marcus let out a deep sigh, feeling the same way. When it was the turn of the other traitors, they shared Macrinus' fate too. Marcus leaned towards Geta. "Speak to your people, Your Majesty, show that you are a true emperor. They need it."
Geta looked at him, then nodded. He took a deep breath.
"The people of Rome! I promise you that from now on I will restore Rome to its rightful glory! During my reign, there will no longer be any Romans who are hungry or poor. I pledge that no Roman rights will be infringed upon, and that all will enjoy equal conditions. I promise you, as your emperor, that I will strive to make Rome the greatest empire in the world!"
You and Marcus looked at each other as the crowd continued to cheer and applaud, their enthusiasm growing. This was precisely what you had hoped to hear. It seemed that the people were also pleased. You admired Geta's personal development and believed with all your heart that he would do what he promised.
Now it was time. It was time for you and your husband to return to your home in peace.

Breakfast (Lucanis x Rook fanfiction)
Lucanis x Female Rook one-shot.
Summary: Lucanis makes breakfast for Rook after they spend the nigth together once she's back from the Fade-prison, relieved to have her back but still worried about her. Short (2285 words) and sweet.
Lucanis woke up feeling rested for the first time in…he didn’t even know how long. That he'd been sleeping in Rook’s arms sure was the reason for it.
They were scrunched together on the couch in Rook’s room, with barely room to move, but for Lucanis it was perfect, with his head pillowed on Rook’s chest and her arms around him. Even Spite seemed to have calmed down, he hadn’t annoyed him once. His only regret was not having slept like that before that night, the distance he’d made himself keep for reasons that seemed important once but not anymore.
He was all too aware of how close he’d been to losing Rook. Since she’d been trapped in the Fade, Lucanis had been consumed not only by fear but also by guilt and regret. He’d let it happen, he hadn’t been quick enough, smart enough, and Rook had been taken from him. She had needed him and he had failed again.
He’d been searching non-stop for a way to get her back, even Spite had been agitated, driving him crazy, and he knew he had to be grateful for the team that they’d found a way to get Rook back.
After that, he’d known there was no way he’d let his fears and insecurities keep him from being truly Rook’s any longer. He’d kill the gods, the blight itself, anything that threatened Rook’s again, no matter what, he wouldn't fail her again, and he wouldn’t deny himself the comfort of her arms any longer.
Mindful not to wake her, Lucanis pulled back from Rook’s chest. She was still fast asleep, and Lucanis wondered if she’d slept at all those weeks she’d been trapped in the Fade, if she’d even needed it.
She didn’t seem more tired than usual, neither did she seem hurt, but Rook hadn’t really elaborated on what had happened to her, and Lucanis hadn’t pushed her to tell him. She seemed more worried about what’d been happening while she was gone and how to fix it, and Lucanis knew it was important, but he wished Rook looked out for herself more. If she didn’t, then he’d be the one to watch over her and care for her.
Lucanis brushed his knuckles ever so softly over Rook’s cheek. He didn’t feel there was much he could offer her, besides his knives and his skills as an assassin, in which he felt he’d been failing abysmally.
It seemed Rook was going to sleep longer, and so, Lucanis decided to get up and get her breakfast. Feeding her was, at least, one thing he could do for Rook without failing her.
He carefully covered Rook with a blanket, pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, and got dressed quickly.
Walking out of the room and down the stairs, Lucanis found Emmrich already awake, sitting down on the armchair next to the coffee table, doing research, with a cup of steaming tea in front of him, while Manfred hovered near. Emmrich looked up from his papers to give Lucanis a tired smile.
“Good morning. How is she?” He asked as he glanced upstairs.
Lucanis sighed and shrugged. “I don’t know. Not bad I think, but she hasn’t told me much of what happened to her. She wants to focus on what we have to do now.”
“Understandable so,” Emmrich conceded. “I know everything we lost, everyone…and everything we have to fight now. But we got Rook back, enjoy that.”
“I plan to. Thank you, Emmrich.” Lucanis was aware of how, without the Fade expertise of Emmrich, he probably couldn’t have gotten Rock back to him.
Emmrich nodded graciously and went back to his papers.
“Manfred,” Lucanis addressed the skeleton, who hissed a yes. “If you see Rook getting up, you come running to find me before she can”
“Yes!”
Once in the kitchen, Lucanis tried to decide on what to do for breakfast. He didn’t want it to be something overly complicated or that would take too long, afraid that Rook might wake up before he was finished and find herself alone.
Finally, he settled for orlesian pancakes.
The kitchen felt cold and abandoned. Lucanis had been in no mood for cooking during the last couple of weeks, his mind was desperately looking for ways to bring Rook back, when he was not mourning their potential loss and blaming himself, and having to deal with Spite’s own commentary and franticness.
Trying to ignore the nagging thoughts of their missing friends, everything that had gone wrong and could get worse soon, and the still lingering fear of losing Rook, Lucanis focused on making breakfast and on the thought of a sleeping Rook, back to him.
He cooked swiftly, and once everything was ready, he placed several servings on a trail and walked out of the kitchen and back to the main building.
Emmrich was still in the armchair, studying the papers, while Manfred stood as a lookout on the staircase, watching the door of Rook’s room. When he saw Lucanis, he hissed and did a thumb-up, and Lucanis couldn’t help his smile.
“Thank you, Manfred,” Lucanis said while placing a cup of coffee and a plate of pancakes on the table in front of Emmrich.
“Oh, thank you Lucanis,” Emmrich smiled at him over his papers. “This was most kind.”
Lucanis shrugged and made his way back to Rook’s room. She was still asleep. Lucanis placed the tray with the pancakes and coffee on the table and knelt down next to the couch, looking at Rook. He reached to trail his fingers down her cheek, ever so softly.
“Doesn’t. Wake,” Spite said, unhelpful.
“She needs rest,” Lucanis muttered, trying not to let Spite’s agitation get to him.
“She. Is not. Waking up,” Spite insisted.
Lucanis never thought the demon could care for anyone, but there they were. Still, he didn’t need Spite putting more fears inside his mind and going frantic again, it wouldn’t help anyone.
“Rook’s tired, she’ll wake up when she’s rested enough,” he tried again, although Lucanis wasn’t very sure if he was convincing himself or the demon. “Go play with Manfred.”
“Pff.” Spite brisked. “He. Thinks. He Is. A mage. Now,” the demon pretty much ranted. “He. Thinks. He. Is. Better.”
“I doubt it,” Lucanis answered, but truly, what did he know…he just hoped Manfred didn’t decide to try and teach Spite magic now. “Go with Manfred or shut it and let Rook sleep.”
Spite didn’t say anything else, but Lucanis could feel his unhappiness.
He watched Rook’s face, caressing her cheek ever so gently again, trying not to entertain Spite’s thoughts of her not waking. There was no reason for that, she was just tired, even if she was in the Fade in her sleep, she was not trapped there any longer, it was just normal dreaming…right?
Lucanis’ heart had begun beating faster, Spite’s unease was growing too, and so he tried to stop that train of thought. Rook was back, she was alright, she was just resting…but if she didn’t wake up by herself soon, he’d wake her.
Moving even closer, Lucanis leaned over Rook, still kneeling on the floor, until he could rest his head over her chest. He closed his eyes, listening to her heartbeat, feeling her chest rising and falling as she breathed, and he tried not to let worry and overthinking take hold of his mind.
Eventually, Lucanis felt the change in her breathing as she began to wake up, and relief washed over him. He pushed back to look at her as Rook’s eyes opened, and she gave him a drowsy smile that made something in his stomach flutter and twirl. She was there, she was awake, she was fine…and she was smiling at him, her sleep-lidded eyes looking at him so lovingly that it was hard to believe she was looking at him.
“Hey….” Rook reached to cup his face and Lucanis leaned into her touch. Her smile turned into a frown when she noticed he was on the floor. “Did I kick you off the couch? Shit, I’m sorry.”
“No, you didn’t,” Lucanis rushed to explain. “I was up already. I made you breakfast.”
There it was again, that soft smile and that love in her eyes, making Lucanis’ heart skip a beat. “Of course you did.”
Rook’s voice was quiet, content, while her hand cupping his face caressed his cheek, and Lucanis turned his head to kiss her palm. Rook’s smile grew wider at that and she leaned to press a soft kiss to his lips. It was gentle, chaste, yet it made Lucanis feel like he might melt.
Rook pulled back, reaching to take her shirt that somehow had ended up hanging from the back of the couch, and she put it on. Then, she reached as if to take her cup of coffee, but Lucanis was already handing it to her.
“Thanks,” she smiled again and reached to take his hand. “Come here.”
Lookanis got up from the floor and sat down on the couch next to Rook. Ignoring his own cup of coffee, he looked at her as she contently sipped hers while she looked at the fishes swimming in that odd aquarium. Lucanis had felt uneasy about that part of Rook’s room before, it reminded him of the Ossuary, but it didn’t anymore, not with Rook there next to him.
Rook caught him staring at her and gave him a small smile, leaning to kiss the side of his head. “I’m fine,” she reassured him.
Lucanis wasn’t sure if it was true, but he didn’t want to push her. She’d be fine, though, he’d make sure of it.
Rook leaned to place the cup back on the tray and cut a piece of the pancakes, bringing it to her mouth. She closed her eyes with a delighted hum and Lucanis felt something in his belly stir at it.
“This is so good,” she said as she took another bite.
“I’m glad.” Lucanis was pretty confident in his cooking skills, more than in his assassin skills right now, but it was nice to have confirmation that Rook was enjoying her breakfast.
Rook looked at him over her shoulder. “Did you have something besides coffee?” she didn’t let him answer. “Of course you didn’t.”
She cut the rest of the pancakes in small, bite-size pieces, and leaned back on the sofa again, taking plate and fork with her. “Here.” She reached the fork with one of the pancake pieces towards Lucanis.
“It’s your breakfast.”
“It’s enough for us both and more…come on,” Rook insisted and Lucanis gave in, taking the bite that she was offering.
Lucanis wondered if it should have felt ridiculous, letting someone feed him pancakes, but it didn’t, he just felt content, loved even. He wondered when was the last time he’d felt like that, or if he’d even felt like that at all before.
He let Rook feed him another couple of bites before nudging her and reminding her to eat herself, and so she dug into the pancakes with appetite. “Seriously, Lucanis, these are so good,” she said between bites and he couldn’t stop how pleased it made him feel.
Still, he couldn’t help but wonder if she’d been hungry, maybe even starving. How hadn’t he thought of feeding her sooner, he shouldn’t have fallen asleep last night without making sure she was fed, no matter how warm and comfortable her arms had felt.
“Did you eat anything while you were…away?” Lucanis found himself asking.
He wasn’t sure how the Fade worked, how she could have survived those weeks without eating anything, if maybe she didn’t need it while in the Fade…
Rook shook her head and leaned over to place the plate of pancakes, with barely anything left, on the table, taking the cup of coffee instead and leaning back on the couch again with a sigh.
“I know it was weeks for you here but…for me…I don’t know,” she trailed off. “I don’t know how it works, but it felt…I don’t even know…eternal but static at the same time…” Rook shuddered and Lucanis leaned to place an arm around her, regretting to have asked. “I don’t want to think about it now.”
“Of course,” he whispered, pulling her close.
His wings popped out without him meaning to, wrapping around them. Lucanis’d be embarrassed about his lack of control of the wings sometimes, if it weren’t because Rook seemed to like them. He had to wonder if Taash was right when they told him he should get out the wings when he was with Rook, that she’d like it.
“Good morning, Spite,” Rook said, smiling.
“Rook,” the demon greeted, but Lucanis was thankful he didn’t try to control him, seeming content just being acknowledged.
Rook took another sip of the coffee and then offered the cup to Lucanis. He was about to refuse, that was her coffee, he had a cup for himself, but she was looking at him with that soft smile, those caring, loving eyes, in a way that made him feel as if his heart was growing in size, and he couldn’t refuse her, taking a sip of the coffee before giving her the cup back.
Rook leaned against him with a content sigh and Lucanis kissed the side of her head.
There were gods to kill, people to help, a world to save, friends to avenge, they had to get at it soon but perhaps, perhaps it all could wait just a bit longer.
Perhaps they could stay like that, Lucanis’ arm and wings enveloping Rook, basking in each other, for a little bit, if only until they finished their coffee.
*
NA:
Both me and my Rook have fallen in love with this gentle, caring assassin and we want to hold him and protect him, but sometimes Rook needs to be taken care of too.
I think I want to write more for them.
If you liked the fic, please let me know in a comment, and as always, reblogs are more than welcome.

It Isn't Over
Lando Norris x Fem!Reader
*ੈ✩‧₊˚warnings: small amount of angst, minimal swearing, no use of y/n, short and honestly not that good

Lando had silently hoped your Instagram stories only served to make him jealous. Perhaps you simply wanted to show him what he had lost– of course that had been nothing but wishful thinking, having heard from a mutual friend that you were indeed seeing some guy. He stood at the door of your apartment, hand slightly raised as he debated whether he should knock or not.
“Are you going to stand there all day or are you going to knock?” the sound of your voice shaking him out of his thoughts.
He hadn’t seen you in months, you looked as radiant as ever, “I miss you,” he blurted out, voice slightly shaky as he reached a hand out towards you,“I made a mistake, a big one, I know I did. I lie awake every night thinking about it.”
He noticed your hesitance, he wasn’t a complete idiot when it came to reading people despite what you thought of him. “Why don’t you come in, have something to drink,” you sighed, digging through your purse, attempting to find your keys.
“Thank you,” he said softly, watching as you opened the door to your apartment, letting him in and closing the door behind you. He scanned the living room for any sign of your moving on, perhaps a coat left by your new lover or a picture of a sentimental moment hanging on the wall, but he found none. Instead he was greeted by the same living room he had come to know during the duration of your complicated friendship.
“I guess we have a lot to talk about,” you led him to your kitchen, hand shaking as you poured him a glass of water, “do you want anything else to drink?” he shook his head, taking a sip of water.
“I don’t know where to start,” he admits, nervously running a hand through his hair. He was nervous, something he had never been around you. Lando had always been a confident person, especially around you, this was new. “Are you seeing anyone?” he asks.
“What?” you were confused by the sudden question, it hadn’t been what you expected him to say, far from it. There wasn’t anything that could have come out of his mouth that would have been expected but this was certainly one of the least possible things you would expect. In fact, maybe, an apology would have been more appropriate than whatever he intended with that question.
“I think I’m in love with you, and if you’re seeing someone then it complicates things. I saw that guy on your instagram– but that doesn’t change how I feel,” he rambled out a confession, burying his face in his hands, tugging at his hair.
“You think?”
“I am, I am so in love with you. And I made the worst mistake of my life, I know that. I just need another chance,” he said, desperately pleading with you, his tone the most serious you had ever heard from him. It hurt you, it hurt to know that it had taken him years to realize this. His eyes never leaving your face, hoping to find any sort of reaction that would reveal that your feelings for him hadn’t changed despite his foul treatment.
“Lando…” you started. He hated the way you said his name, how soft your voice still sounded despite the evident pain. “You hurt me in many ways. It was as if you saw me as less than human, just something to satisfy whatever needs you had,” you felt tears start to well up in your eyes, it was becoming increasingly difficult to keep calm. “And now you show up at my front door claiming to be in love with me? I find it all hard to believe.”
You remember one night that had been particularly hurtful– the night of your birthday. Lando had called you earlier that day, inviting himself over to your apartment. You had wishfully thought that he had remembered your birthday, despite the fact that he had yet to acknowledge it. When he had finally arrived that night you were not greeted with the words “Happy Birthday”. Instead he pushed his way into your home, kissing you and whispering against your skin about how much he needed you. It wasn’t until a week later that he had even noticed that your birthday had passed. So to say that you couldn’t believe Lando had truly changed was an understatement, but even so, you couldn’t bring yourself to forget about your feelings towards him.
“I’m not asking you to believe me. I'm asking you to give me another chance– an opportunity to prove to you that what I feel for you is real, that I truly do love you,” Lando took a step closer, his hand reaching out to brush away a stubborn tear that had made its way past the threshold of your eyes.
“One chance,” you whispered, letting your forehead rest against his.
“So you’re not seeing that guy you’ve been posting on your Instagram?”
“He’s my cousin,” you said with a small teary laugh, placing a kiss on his nose.
And maybe things would be different than they had been before. Maybe this time he wouldn’t ditch you at events for models who made you insecure or forget your birthday. This time he wouldn’t make you hate the way you looked. But only time would tell.

Knowing a change of scenery was what your mental health needed, you transferred to where your brother, Mark, goes to college. The good news is, he’s not too cool for his younger sister, so he lets you join his friend group immediately. The bad news is, Haechan is in that friend group, and a brief encounter four years ago was enough for you to understand he does NOT like you. Even worse news, he’s a lot hotter than he was four years ago…
Chapter Fifteen: I'll just ask Mark - four images, 1.5k words - heads up, this chapter deals more with y/n's mental health than previous ones
You were thankful you didn’t have any classes for the rest of the day, because time slipped right by you while at lunch with Haechan. The two of you got sandwiches and coffee from the library café, but when you quickly realized all the tables were taken, you ended up bringing the food back to Haechan’s apartment just a short walk away. This is where time started flying past. The two of you turned on an old cartoon show to watch while you ate, but once you were finished, your own voices quickly overtook the sound of the television.
It was a strange truth to find out - that you and Haechan actually got along swimmingly, taking to each other like a duck to water. Of course, up until the last week or so, the majority of your time knowing each other was spent either ignoring one another or exemplifying passive aggression; so your ability to actually carry a conversation for hours was a very new concept, but one you could hardly take the time to question when you were too busy laughing until you couldn’t breathe.
Haechan was the first to calm down after the last bout of laughter shared in the living room, and he leaned his head against the front of the couch - the two of you opted to sit on the floor as you ate since there was no coffee table to place everything on; not to mention the couch wasn’t that comfortable in the first place.
He rolled his head to the side so he could look at you, your eyes squeezed shut as you bite on your bottom lip to try and stop more laughs from leaving your system. He let a soft grin come across his face as he took in your presence, and the fact that he was happy here with you. “Remind me to thank Mark for convincing you to transfer,” he says gratefully, traces of a laugh still tainting his light voice. Though, all at once, your body stills, and you open your eyes to meet his soft gaze before swiftly bringing your focus to where you had begun messing with your fingers in your lap.
“Oh. It wasn’t really- he didn’t convince me, so to speak. I had to transfer.” You fumble through your words, embarrassment tinging your cheeks a shade of pink.
Haechan furrowed his brows at you. “What do you mean?” He asks curiously, and you can’t help the heavy sigh that escapes you.
You stop fidgeting, but you can’t bring your gaze up from your lap as you respond smoothly. “I was really, badly depressed. Not to mention half the student body at SM used to actually bully me," you recall with a scoff.
“At the end of the day, I just wanted my brother closer than thirty minutes away from me. Helped me feel less alone, or at least helped me not make rash decisions, I mean- I hated myself. Wasn’t sure I was anything but a waste of space, honestly; and the idea of going to my brother to be talked down felt better than going to my friends, cause I always thought they would leave me if all I did was come to them with struggles. My brother can’t leave, he’s stuck with me. Though most of the time, that doesn’t really make it any easier - it’s still putting so much responsibility on Mark, when he’s probably the last person who needs any more added to his plate. Regardless, he does his best - and only partly because he's forced to," you say with a weak laugh before continuing softly.
"In transferring here, my parents made him promise that he wouldn’t allow me to throw myself into oncoming traffic, or maybe it was off a bridge. I don’t know. Something stupid but-”
You cut yourself off when you hear what you think is a sniffle from beside you. You whip your head over to look and get confirmation that he’s actually crying. “Haechan?” You get out worriedly, your brows furrowing as you take in his wide watery eyes and small trembles. You reach out to wipe away at the tears racing down his face, and he just shakes his head against your hold.
“Don’t leave. Don’t you ever dare leave,” he manages to get out somewhat firmly. Your lips form a tight smile at his care and you shake your head, trying to dispel his worries.
“I’m not-” You start, but he cuts you off and you’re sure it’s because he doesn’t quite believe you…not that you could blame him.
He moves from sitting flat on the ground to instead lean over and engulf you in a hug, made awkward by the fact that he was practically just ramming his body into your side. You didn’t care, you wrapped your arms around him the best you could as he gets out choked words. “I need you. Here. I need you here,” he hiccups, and you break.
“Haechan…it’s okay. I’m not going anywhere. I promise,” you say, trying your best not to cry now, too as you begin to rub a hand up and down his back.
You feel a light poke at your side and glance down to see his pinkie outstretched. You look back up to face him in confusion, but his eyes are still directed towards the floor, not to mention squeezed shut. “P-promise,” he gets out weakly. With the tears staining his face, the shaking of his body, and his choked words, you knew you never wanted to see Haechan like this ever again. So, without truly realizing how much this pinky promise was going to mean to him, you lace your finger with his and watch as the smallest wave of relief crashes over him.
He falls more decidedly against you, and you hold him there tightly, running your fingers gently across his clothes and through his hair. You don’t know how long the two of you stayed like that, but you know you didn’t let up from the hug until he was completely rid of tears. Though, when you lift your arms up and allow him to sit back upright, he doesn’t, and a small smile crosses your face as you gently place your arms back around his figure.
You hadn’t seen him look this small ever before, and the fact that he was being this emotional and vulnerable with you was making warmth spread through your entire body. You only hoped it could transfer through the hug you had him in, figuring he probably needed it more right now - for some reason, it couldn't click that he was crying over you, that he was currently concerned about making sure you felt comforted and cared for...though that quickly changes with his next words.
“I’m sorry I was a dick to you earlier,” he finally says with resolve. You move to shake your head and dismiss it, but he presses on. “I treated you poorly for no reason, and I’m sorry. The last thing I ever want to do is remind you of someone from your old school. I’ll do better. I promise all I’ll ever try to do is put a smile on your face, but if it’s ever not genuine, I need you to know that you can come to me, confide in me, whatever. Your heavy feelings aren’t going to scare me away. You don’t need to ever pretend around me, and if I’m the only person who has made that clear, then so be it, I’ll be your rock.”
He finally moves as he says this so that he can make eye contact with you, unfortunate because you had finally started crying at his words. “It’s so hard,” you squeak out. “With my family, I mean - I just want to be a good daughter- a good sister. They don’t deserve all that stress of my mental health. I- I broke my family’s heart telling them how I thought of myself…the point I was reaching. I don’t ever want to worry them like that again.” As you finish, your attention is turned towards where Haechan lightly grabbed your hand in his.
“You broke mine, too, but you need to understand that I’ll let you break it over and over again if it means you aren’t going through this alone.” There’s nothing but sincerity in his tone and it sends even more tears racing down your cheeks. He sighs, bringing a hand up to wipe gently under your eyes. “Y/n,” he says, his voice soft but filled with intent.
You nod your head, knowing what he was looking for - any confirmation that you were actually taking in his words. “Thank you,” you say weakly, causing a corner of Haechan’s mouth to perk up in a soft grin.
His hand that was previously at your cheek moves up to eventually run back down through your hair, tucking a piece behind your ear. “Do you wanna watch The Aristocats?” He asks gently.
Your wide eyes meet his. “You’d watch it with me again?” You respond in awe.
Haechan lets out a small laugh, turning his gaze to the floor before shaking his head and looking in your teary eyes again. “You said it’s your comfort movie…I’d watch it a thousand times.”

OKAY. HEAR ME OUT.
Justis (Dave’s son) bringing reader home bc they’re together, but Dave thinks she’s hella cute and reader too whatever. And then they end up fucking in like a bathroom or something😻
A/n: I'm feeling Christmassy, hope that's not a problem
Warnings: Smut, cheating, age gap, if you think I missed anything let me know otherwise enjoy!
University was hard, you tried to get out when you could but you were always focused on your schoolwork.
Your friends brought you out a few times to bars or whatever but you were more comfortable being the designated driver. Oddly enough it was when you were studying in the library that you met Justis.
You had a class together and he confessed he always caught himself looking at you and wanting to talk to you but just couldn't bring himself to do it until then.
You kept talking with him, he was nice and always brought you snacks when he knew you'd be studying. It was good and you knew, worst comes to worst, University is for experimenting, which you'd be doing a lot of once you met his dad you just didn't know it at the time.
It was Christmas time, the perfect time to meet his family, his dad and sister at least, and you were excited, sure, but as soon as that door opened and you were met with Dave it was like breathing for the first time.
He was different, the way he smiled at you, that look in his eyes as he looked you up and down, taking in your appearance.
You had to remind yourself over and over you were here with your boyfriend, Justis, but your eyes kept going back to Dave, always meeting his.
The plan was to stay a week but you felt like you should make up an excuse to leave earlier, not that you wanted to but you saw the way Dave was looking at you, saw the hunger in his eyes.
It was Christmas Eve and you couldn't sleep, couldn't even bring yourself to close your eyes while Justis was out beside you, arm loosely wrapped around your torso.
Someone was moving around downstairs, you knew it was Electra because you would have heard her walking down the hall, it had to be Dave.
You couldn't take it anymore and decided to just go talk to him, it was innocent enough.
You managed to get out of bed without disturbing Justis and made it downstairs to find Dave wrapping a few presents and tucking them under the tree, as you got closer you saw they were marked 'From: Santa'. Neither Justis nor Electra believed in Santa anymore, obviously, but he still liked keeping that there.
He panicked a moment when he finally noticed you but calmed down when he saw it was you. "Jesus, you scared me." He said with a gruff chuckle.
"Sorry." You said, smiling back at him. You moved to sit next to him on the floor, looking over the pile of gifts under the tree.
"I got you some too, don't worry." He said, tucking the present he'd just tagged under the tree, setting it on a bigger one.
"Really?" You asked, tilting your head to him. "I didn't think you would." You said, looking back to the colourful wall of wrapping paper. "I-I didn't get you anything." You admitted, biting your bottom lip as you looked back at him.
He shook his head and placed his hand on your thigh, over your fuzzy Christmas pyjama pants. "You got me enough, sweetheart." He looked straight into your eyes as he said it, his own carrying a much darker gleam in them. He brought his hand back and picked up another gift while you sat and thought about what he really meant.
You sat with him for a while longer, watching his hands as they flipped and folded the paper. You handed him the tape as he worked, it was weird if you didn't help at all so you did the bare minimum, the smile he gave you when you handed him a piece made it worth it every time.
As time bore on you felt yourself finally getting tired, gradually moving closer to Dave until you were fully leaning against him.
He helped you up once you were done and walked with you to the stairs, your room was up them while his was down the hall, still he followed you up the stairs.
He heard someone moving in your room before you did and he pulled you into the bathroom across the hall. He flicked the light on and smashed his lips onto yours, a kiss you immediately reciprocated.
Justis stepped out of the room and saw the lights on in the bathroom, assuming you'd just gone in there and would be out soon he turned and went back to bed, all while his dad was tugging on your clothes.
Your fuzzy pants slid down your legs and he saw you'd gone commando. "Really, sweetheart?"
"Just for you." You gleamed, pulling him back into a kiss.
He lifted you up and set you down on the counter, standing between your legs and pushing his own pants and boxers down, just enough for his dick to spring free.
Your breathing was heavy, as was his. Your cheeks were flushed, your forehead pressed against his as he pushed into you, causing you to moan before he could slap his hand over your mouth.
"I knew it was you the other night." He said with a chuckled. It's true, you'd been thinking about Dave all day and couldn't get him off your mind after you crawled into bed. "Thinking of me, weren't you?"
You nodded, wrapping your arms around his neck. "Not my fault when you look at me like that." You said, feeling yourself fluttering around him, eager for him to move. "He almost looks like you, anyway."
Dave snorted at that. "Doesn't feel the same, huh?" He asked, voice low, almost a growl. You shook your head, Dave was bigger in pretty much every way. Girthy and veiny and he smelled divine, you just kept aching for more. "That's what I thought." He mused, kissing you again as he started moving his hips, thrusts quickly picking up pace.
He was eager to please you, but it had been a while since he'd been with someone, he could already feel himself getting close.
He brought a hand to your clit, the sudden friction made you gasp into the kiss. He knew the second he pulled away you'd be moaning out his name like a worship song, he wanted to hear it but he couldn't risk waking up his kids, especially not with one of them dating you.
You mumbled something into the kiss, he didn't quite catch it but didn't think he'd have to. Then you pulled away. "Dave! I-I'm close, fuck!" You called. He rushed to get a hand over your mouth but you just pushed it away. The room filled with your moans, Dave gave up on silencing you and focused on how good you felt around him.
His arms wrapped around you as you came, he followed shortly after, letting himself spill into you.
It wasn't until then that he realized the banging he heard wasn't the two of you.
"What the fuck?!" Justis yelled from the other side of the door.

╰┈➤ When Jungwon sees your drunk self, he takes you to his room to comfort you. However, you suddenly break down crying and asking him strange questions. Between one of them, asking him to kiss you.

"Y/N, calm down, the others will hear you." Jungwon said, looking back at his bedroom's closed door and then at your face. He hated seeing you like this. Red, puffy eyes as tears ran down like a river.
"Won, why? Why?" You choked on your tears while trying to speak. It was the first time Jungwon saw you this drunk, mostly because you didn't drink. You were an innocent girl. Every time you would go out with him and his members, they would drink beer while you sipped your orange juice.
So why did you drink so much? And what are those words coming out of your mouth? The rest of his members were downstairs in the living room. None knew that you were locked, drunk and crying in Jungwon's room.
"Y/N, I don't understand." He spoke again, sitting down on the floor next to you. He tried to grab your face so you could look him into his eyes, but you shook away from him.
"W-won, I want to ask you a question. But please, answer with honestly." You suddenly said, still your eyes pinned down on your lap. Jungwon moved closer to you, placing his right hand gently over your shoulders.
"What? What do you want to ask me?" You sniffed on your hand, looking up at him. Your lip trembled, making the next words that came out of your mouth barely above a whisper. However, Jungwon heard it. And very clearly.
"Am I pretty?" Jungwon's eyes got wide, taking away his hand from you. A shade of red spread to your cheeks, your eyes looking down again. For a brief moment, a depressing expression crossed your face when Jungwon's hand left your body. It made his heart shatter.
"Y/N, what are you saying? You are beautiful."
"Yes, but there are so much more beautiful women out there. The idols that you work with. They have flawless skin, a skinny body, and perfect facial harmony. I don't have any of them." You broke down again in tears, hiding your face behind your palms.
Jungwon's eyebrows came together at your words. How could you even think for a second that you weren't pretty? For him, you were the most gorgeous woman in the world. And you didn't need surgery, nor diet to look pretty in his eyes.
You were already perfect to him.
"Y/N, you are talking nonsense-"
"I am not and you know it. You would prefer me over some kind of model or the idols you work with?" You moved closer to him, feeling the alcohol hitting you.
"It's not about the outside, but the inside-"
"Then if they weren't bad people, and they were fun and kind like me, would you still prefer me?" Your temper was raising by the minutes passing. You got on your knees, looking down at a confused Jungwon with eager eyes.
You hoped his answer will be you. There was this small hope behind your eyes.
But what are you asking your best friend? The alcohol has seriously destroyed you.
"None can be like you." Jungwon whispered, making your eyes shoot wide. Still, this answer wasn't enough satisfying for you.
"Well, similar to me!" You yelled, forgetting his members were just downstairs.
"I can't understand you, Y/N. I wish you could see yourself from my perspective."
"If you find me so attractive then," You began, sitting back down on the floor. By now, your tears had dried up against your cheeks. The only thought in your mind was Jungwon's lips on yours. How they would feel, how they would move...
"If you find me attractive, then kiss me." You finally said, making Jungwon jump back in shock. He couldn't believe what was happening right now. You must be really drunk to suggest something like that.
However, drunk actions aren't just sober thoughts?
"Y/N, I can't do that-"
"See, you don't want to kiss me!" Jungwon stood up, and you followed behind him. Tears started leaving your eyes again, and Jungwon's heart was slowly breaking into pieces.
"You don't like me." You continued, unable to stop your mouth. "I am ugly, and you know it. If I wasn't, you would kiss me. Yet you went to leave. You know what? I am leaving first! This is your room anyway, ah!"
As you were about to walk past Jungwon, he grabbed you by your shoulders. He brought you close to his body, feeling his warmthless taking over you. Some seconds passed where you both looked each other deep into the eyes. Seconds that felt like years to you.
Before he did the move. He kissed you. He kissed you so sweetly, his lips slowly moving against yours. You were taken aback. At first, you were frozen under his touch. But when you felt his hand pushing your head closer to his lips, you reacted as well.
The kiss was quick, yet memorable. Jungwon could smell the alcohol on your breath, but his mind was occupied by your soft lips to give it too much notice. He took a deep breath before breaking the silence.
"If I didn't like you, would I do this?"

Party~ Levi Colwill
Wearning: +18,smut, english is not my first language
It was an autumn evening, the cool breeze brushing against the fallen leaves as you and Levi Colwill made your way to a party at a villa just outside the city. He was wearing a crisp white shirt that highlighted his dark skin and intense eyes, while you had chosen a dress that seemed made for the evening—elegant but understated, hinting at more than it revealed.
The villa was illuminated by warm, dim lights, with music pulsing through the floor and a sea of people laughing, chatting, and dancing. It seemed like the usual elegant party setting, but the tension between you and Levi had been palpable since you got into the car to head there. Your relationship was still young, but there was something overwhelming in the way he looked at you, as if he couldn’t take his eyes off you.
As soon as you arrived, Levi headed over to the drink counter to grab something for both of you. He returned with two glasses of champagne, but his gaze hadn’t left you even for a second.
“Are you sure you want to stay at this party?” he asked with a sly smile, handing you the glass. “We could be alone, you know.”
“Levi,” you replied, laughing, trying to hide the warmth rising to your cheeks. “We accepted the invite. Let’s at least greet a few people before we sneak away.”
He shook his head, stepping closer and reducing the space between you. “I’m already counting the minutes. I don’t know how long I can hold out.”
His tone was low, almost a whisper, but his hand moved gently along your back, stopping just above your hip. He made you feel like you were the only two people in the crowded room.
“Levi, people are watching,” you murmured, trying to appear nonchalant as you brought the glass to your lips. But he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear.
“So what? I don’t care.”
Before you could respond, one of Levi’s friends approached to greet him, interrupting the moment. Levi straightened up but didn’t move his hand from your back, as if he wanted everyone to know you were his. He spoke briefly with his friend, but his gaze kept returning to you, and every now and then, his thumb stroked the fabric of your dress.
Later, while you stood near the fireplace chatting with some acquaintances, you felt his presence behind you again. This time, he didn’t even try to hide how much he wanted you. His hands settled on your hips, pulling you slightly back toward him.
“Levi,” you whispered, trying not to attract too much attention. “You need to calm down.”
“I can’t,” he replied, his voice low, almost a growl. “Every time I look at you, I want to take you away from here.”
You turned to look him in the eyes, finding them dark and full of emotion. “You can’t keep doing this,” you chided him, though your tone was anything but firm. “We’re at a party.”
“I don’t care about the party,” he said bluntly. “Or about anyone else.”
Before you could say anything, he leaned down and kissed you, completely indifferent to who might see. It was an intense, possessive kiss that left you breathless. When he pulled back slightly, his eyes were locked on yours.
“Come with me,” he said. It wasn’t a question.
In the end, you gave in, letting him lead you away from the main room, away from the music and curious gazes. You ended up on a secluded veranda, with only the garden lights softly illuminating your faces. Levi gently pressed you against the wall, his hands immediately finding their way to your hips, your face—anywhere he could touch.
“I don’t know what it is you do to me,” he confessed, his breathing ragged as he looked at you. “But I can’t stop.”
And there, under the starry sky and far from the chaos of the party, he made it impossible for you not to believe every word he said.
You kissed again with pure hunger while he began to lift your dress and lower your panties before kneeling.
"Levi" you mumbled but he silenced you by putting a finger inside you and you moaned and immediately put your hand on your mouth trying to be silent.
Levi looked at you smiling as he put another finger inside you. " Come on little lever that hand I want to hear you" he muttered and you whimpered.
"There are people" you tried to say and he smiled.
"Then let him hear how good I make you feel baby" she said and shoved her skillful tongue into your pussy licking and sucking.
You closed your eyes for a second as you moaned and moved your hands over his hair to pull him closer.
"This pussy always tastes so good" he whispered against your pussy making you moan to the vibration.
"Levi" you moaned as you enjoyed your tongue touching, sucking and kissing your pussy.
"You’re so good" you murmured as you clashed your hips on his face wanting more contact.
It was always like that with Levi, it always made you born within yourself the pure desire to want more from him.
At that moment you forgot that you were in the hall where everyone could see you but you didn’t care at that moment especially because you were focused on Levi who was making you feel so good with his tongue.
Levi from below looked at your fucked state and moaned and made your pussy vibrate and made you moan even louder.
You looked down to see how she licked your pussy and how she looked at you and you moaned.
He had a piercing look and only his look could make you come. You were on the edge and he knew it.
He started licking you faster and you cum on his face.
He smiled and got up adjusting you and you while trying to take a breath and pulled it towards you like a hungry woman and you rubbed on him feeling his hard cock.
"Let’s go home" you whispered through the kisses.
Levi smiled and nodded even though he knew perfectly well that you would end up fucking at the party or in his car because he made you even more needy.

Love Letters
characters: Zack Fair, Cloud Strife, Reno, Sephiroth, Vincent Valentine, and Rufus Shinra.
Scenario: Giving the Final Fantasy 7 men love letters.
Part one
(Y/n) crept into the male locker room, her heart pounding in her chest. She clutched the carefully folded love letter to her chest, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves.
Glancing around furtively, (Y/n) made her way over to Zack's locker, her palms sweating. Just as she was about to slip the letter inside, she heard the sound of the showers turning off.
(Y/n) froze, her blood running cold. Oh no, Zack was still here! She had thought everyone would be gone by now.
Quickly, (Y/n) ducked down behind a bench, hoping to avoid being seen. She held her breath, listening to the sound of footsteps approaching.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shower area, and (Y/n)'s heart nearly stopped. It was Zack, wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. Water droplets glistened on his toned chest and abs.
Zack blinked in surprise, spotting (Y/n) crouching behind the bench. "Hey! What are you doing here?" he asked, his eyebrows raising in confusion.
(Y/n) scrambled to her feet, her face flaming red. "I...I just...um..." she stammered, unable to form a coherent sentence.(Y/n) couldn't help but let her gaze wander over Zack's exposed body, her heart racing..
Zack glanced down at himself, realizing his state of undress. "Oh, um..." he chuckled awkwardly. "Maybe you should let me get dressed. Then we can talk."
(Y/n) tried to avert her gaze, but found her eyes drawn back to Zack's muscular physique. She swallowed hard, her mouth suddenly dry. "Yeah.. definitely." She nodded, as she made her way out of the locker room. That was so embarrassing!
Zack rushed to his locker, grabbing his clothes and quickly getting dressed. He couldn't help but smile to himself, wondering what (Y/n) was doing sneaking around the men's locker room.
Once dressed, Zack made his way out to find (Y/n) waiting nervously by the exit. He approached her with a playful smirk. "So, what was that all about, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n) fidgeted nervously, her face still bright red. "I... I have something for you," she mumbled, holding out the letter.
Zack took the envelope, his brow furrowing in confusion. "What is this?"
"Just... just read it, okay?" (Y/n) whispered, averting her gaze.
Curious, Zack opened the letter and began to read. As he did, his eyes widened in surprise. His heart began to race as he realized what the letter said.(Y/n) was confessing her feelings for him.
Zack looked up at (Y/n), his expression softening. "(Y/n), I... wow. I had no idea you felt this way."
(Y/n) peeked up at him shyly. "Do you... do you feel the same?"
Zack stepped closer, gently taking (Y/n)'s hands in his. "I've liked you for a long time now. I just never thought you'd return my feelings."
(Y/n)'s face lit up with happiness, tears of joy welling in her eyes. "Really? You mean it?"
"I really do," Zack confirmed, pulling (Y/n) into a tight hug. "I'm so glad you told me how you felt. I don't want to hide it anymore either."
(Y/n) hugged him back fiercely, hardly believing this was real. "I'm so happy," she whispered.
Zack pulled back slightly, cupping (Y/n)'s face in his hands. "Me too. More than you know."
As Cloud approached his apartment, he noticed a figure crouching by his door. (Y/n) was carefully slipping something under his door. Cloud paused, a curious wrinkle creasing his brow as he observed her. This wasn't the most usual thing he's caught (Y/n) doing, but he was still curious. He cleared his throat, announcing his presence. "What are you doing, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n) snapped to attention, her surprise mirroring in her eyes. As she recognized Cloud, her cheeks felt warm. "Cloud," she replied hurriedly, her attempt at nonchalance betrayed by her racing heart, "uh... nothing important." She tried to cover the discarded paper on the floor with her foot.
Cloud eyed the crumpled note peeking from under (Y/n)'s foot with a mixture of curiousity and amusement. He leaned against the doorway, his arms crossed as he regarded her. "Right," he commented dryly, "Because it's completely normal to drop things by people's doors late at night. Try again."
Her cheeks felt hot.. really hot. She hadn't anticipated Cloud catching her. Dropping the pretext of nonchalance, she huffed a bit. “Alright, fine,” she relented, her gaze dropping. “I just... I was leaving you a note," she admitted, the words spilling out reluctantly.
Cloud's mouth twitched with a hint of a smile. "A note, huh?" he said, a subtle lilt in his tone. He stepped closer, his eyes fixed on hers, not letting her off the hook that easily. "And why exactly would you be leaving me a note under my door?"
His close proximity brought a new wave of heat to (Y/n)'s face. She forced herself to maintain eye contact, despite the fluttering in her chest. "It's... personal," she murmured, the words escaping in a soft breath. "I just... there's something I want to say, and it's easier in written form."
Cloud raised an eyebrow. "Personal, huh?" he echoed, a hint of intrigue in his voice. He glanced at the note on the floor, then back at her. "Alright, let's see it." He held his hand out.
(Y/n) hesitated, the idea of him reading her confession while she was present making her heart pound in her chest. But she knew he wouldn't relent without it, so with a resigned sigh, she bent down and picked up the small note from the floor. She extended the note to Cloud, her hand trembling slightly.
Cloud took the note, his fingers gently brushing against hers. The touch sent a jolt through him, but he kept his expression composed. He unfolded the paper, revealing the handwritten message. His eyes scanned the words, his heart quickening with each syllable. The realization of what the note contained slowly dawned on him.
It was a love confession...
Cloud felt a flutter in his chest as he read the heartfelt words. His stoic facade wavered momentarily, his breath hitching in his throat. He looked at (Y/n)'s, his eyes wide and a deep blush on his face.
"Is this... Is this what I think it is?" he asked quietly, his voice laced with a mix of surprise and disbelief. His hands, clutching the note, trembled slightly. They were good friends, yes, but he had never allowed himself to believe she harbored feelings for him.
"Yes..." (Y/n) managed, her voice barely above a whisper. "That's exactly what it is."
Cloud's mind reeled. The reality of her confession hit him like a ton of bricks. He couldn't deny the rapid thump of his heart against his ribcage, nor the way his stomach somersaulted. A strange mixture of emotions swirled within him. Surprise, flattery, but also a hint of panic.
(Y/n) anxiously waited for Cloud to say something, anything that could ease the tension. The silence felt thick and heavy, each second lingering for an eternity. She fidgeted with the hem of her sleeve, her eyes tracing the pattern nervously. As the silence continued, her fear that he didn't feel the same began to grow. She couldn't bear the thought of his rejection.
Cloud, seeing the anxiety etched on (Y/n)'s face, quickly snapped out of his brief daze. He realized he hadn't given any reaction yet. His words stumbled forward in a mix of surprise and genuine warmth. "I..." he started, the note still clutched in his hands. "(Y/n), I had no idea. I..." He ran a hand through his spiky hair, struggling to find the right words.
"Go on.." She said, her voice trembled with a mix of nervousness and hope. "Please, just... Say something, anything."
Cloud took a deep breath, his eyes meeting hers, full of sincerity. "I...I never thought I'd hear something like this, from you." His smile was tentative, tinged with a hint of vulnerability that softened his typically reserved demeanor. "Truth is, (Y/n)... I like you too.. a lot."
The world seemed to stop for a moment. Hope blossomed in (Y/n)'s eyes, and a joyful gasp escaped her lips. A rush of emotions surged through her, making her heart flutter wildly in her chest. "You.. You do?"
A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, the relief was evident on her face. Her eyes were filled with an intense earnestness. She took a step closer to Cloud. "Really? You really do?"
Cloud chuckled, his usual aloof demeanor giving way to a more tender expression. "Yeah, I do," he said, his voice soft. He took a step towards her, closing the gap between them. "I really do."
Reno whistled cheerfully to himself as he strolled up to his apartment complex, the warm summer sun shining down on him. It had been a long day at work, but he was in a good mood, looking forward to relaxing at home.
As he approached his mailbox, Reno noticed an unusual envelope peeking out from among the usual bills and flyers. His brow furrowed slightly as he pulled it out.
"What's this now?" Reno muttered to himself with a smirk, tucking the letter into his jacket pocket. He headed up to his apartment, his curiosity piqued.
Once inside, Reno kicked off his shoes and flopped down on the couch, fishing out the letter. He examined it for a moment before carefully opening it, his eyes scanning over the words.
As he read, Reno's grin slowly faded, replaced by a look of shock. He read the letter through twice, just to be sure he hadn't misunderstood.
(Y/n) liked him. Romantically. And not just a casual crush - she was confessing her deep, sincere feelings for him.
Reno set the letter down, running a hand through his red hair as he tried to process this unexpected development. He had always thought (Y/n) as a friend, a cute and quirky coworker. Of course they had flirted before... a lot actually, but he never imagined she would actually like him the way he liked her.
Reno leaned back on the couch, letting out a long breath. He knew he needed to respond to (Y/n), to let her know how he felt. But he had no idea what to say.
Should he tell her he returned her feelings? Or pretend he didn't see the letter? If they started dating, how would it affect their work?
In the end, he decided the only thing to do was talk to (Y/n) face-to-face. He couldn't avoid this situation or put it off any longer.
Reno stood up, determination in his eyes as he pulled out his phone.
Reno quickly typed out a message to (Y/n). "Hey, got a minute? There's something we need to talk about."
He hit send before he could second guess himself. Now all he could do was wait for her response, trying not to let his nerves get the better of him.
Not long after, Reno heard a knock at his door. He took a deep breath, steeling himself before opening it.
(Y/n) stood there, looking adorably nervous. Reno's heart skipped a beat at the sight of her.
"Come on in," he said, stepping aside to let her enter.
(Y/n) walked in, her hands clasped tightly in front of her. She glanced around Reno's apartment before finally meeting his gaze.
"So, um, what did you want to talk about?" she asked, her voice shaking slightly.
Reno ran a hand through his hair, trying to find the words. "Look, about that letter you left me..."
(Y/n) kinda figured. "It's cheesy, isn't it?" She asked.
"Maybe a little," Reno confirmed with a nod. "But I just...I need to know. Do you really mean what you wrote? About having feelings for me?"
(Y/n) bit her lip, looking like she wanted to bolt. But after a moment, she took a deep breath and met Reno's eyes. "I do. I really do have feelings for you, Reno. I have for a while now."
Reno's heart soared at her words. He took a step closer, reaching out to gently take her hand. "I...I feel the same way, (Y/n). I don't want to pretend otherwise anymore."
(Y/n)'s eyes shone with happiness. "Really? You mean it?"
Reno smiled, bringing her hand up to his lips to press a tender kiss to her knuckles. "I really do. You're amazing, (Y/n). I'd be lucky to have you as my girlfriend."
(Y/n) let out a squeal of joy, throwing her arms around Reno's neck. "Yes!"
Sephiroth was surprised when (Y/n) came up to him, her cheeks flushed pink as she awkwardly extended a small envelope towards him. Before he could even respond, she darted away, disappearing around a corner.Puzzled, Sephiroth looked down at the envelope in his hand. It was obvious that it held a letter of some sort, and judging by (Y/n)'s behavior, it was likely something important.Curious, Sephiroth carefully tore open the envelope and pulled out the letter inside. The page was written in elegant and tidy handwriting, with each word carefully chosen and arranged. As Sephiroth read the letter, his eyes widened slightly in surprise, and his cheeks flushed a rosy color. It was.. a love confession. It made him feel giddy.Sephiroth found himself reading the letter again and again, unable to believe what he was seeing. A love letter.. from the quiet, composed (Y/n)? He couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in his chest. Sephiroth had always quietly harbored feelings for (Y/n), but had never expected her to feel the same way.He suddenly found himself wondering how to respond. Should he go find (Y/n) and talk to her? But what would he say? He wasn't good with expressing his own feelings, not to mention he didn't know how to respond to such a love confession.
Sephiroth bit his lip, trying to think of a plan.
As he thought, Sephiroth suddenly realized something. A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he had an idea. He quickly took out a piece of paper and pen, and carefully started writing down his response.
Sephiroth found himself strolling through the halls, the envelope clutched tightly in his hand. He was looking, casually glancing around for (Y/n). He had to find her.
Sephiroth's eyes widened slightly as he saw (Y/n) walking through the halls alone. He had been searching for her all over the building, and hadn't expected to stumble upon her so easily, but there she was, just walking down the corridor, seemingly all alone. As though sensing his eyes on her, her gaze flicked up, and their eyes met.
(Y/n)'s heart rate increased, feeling as if it would beat right out of her chest. Her palms felt sweaty and her stomach was twisted up in knots. As she met Sephiroth's gaze, her cheeks felt warm.
Sephiroth's breath hitched in his throat as he stared at (Y/n). He found himself completely mesmerized as he watched her, and found it hard to think clearly. He took a few strides towards her, coming to a stop when he was just a few feet away from her, holding out the letter he wrote for her.
(Y/n)'s gaze flickered down to the letter held out in front of her, her confusion briefly overriding the nervousness and embarrassment she felt. She gingerly took the envelope from Sephiroth’s hand, her touch brushing against his skin.
"W-what's this?" (Y/n) stuttered as she stared down at the letter, her heart racing.
Sephiroth's heart leapt as he felt (Y/n)'s skin brush against his, sending a shiver up his spine. He watched her for a moment, his cheeks turning a deeper red. "Open it." Sephiroth's voice came out as a quiet murmur, but was still deep and smooth.
(Y/n)'s fingers trembled as she slowly pulled back the flap of the envelope and pulled out the letter inside. She unfolded it and began to read, her heart racing with anticipation.
As (Y/n) read through the letter, Sephiroth watched her closely, his heart pounding painfully in his chest, hoping desperately that she would like his response. He became more anxious, fidgeting with his fingers anxiously.
After several long moments, (Y/n) finally finished reading the letter, her mind reeling and her heart racing. She slowly looked up from the page, her face flushed a deep red. Finally, she managed to find her voice again. "Y-you like me too?"
Sephiroth gave a slight nod, his usually composed demeanor replaced with a nervous, flustered look. “I… yes, I do. Very much.” He murmured, his voice trembling slightly.
(Y/n) crept silently into the room where Vincent Valentine's coffin was kept. She had a letter clutched tightly in her hand, one she had spent hours agonizing over and perfecting. Her heart raced as she approached the coffin, knowing that Vincent was likely asleep inside.
With a deep breath, (Y/n) carefully opened the lid of the coffin, just enough to slide the letter inside. She was about to close it again when suddenly, Vincent's hand shot out, grabbing her wrist in an iron grip.
(Y/n) let out a startled yelp as Vincent yanked her forward, pulling her into the coffin with him. She landed on top of him with a soft "oof", the letter falling forgotten beside them.
"What are you doing?" Vincent asked, his voice low and gravelly. His eyes glowed an eerie silver in the darkness of the coffin.
"I...I..." (Y/n) stammered, her face flushing bright red. She couldn't believe Vincent had caught her in the act of trying to sneak him a love letter. How embarrassing!
Vincent's gaze softened slightly as he looked up at the flustered girl perched on top of him. He held up the letter. "Is this what you wanted to give me?"
(Y/n) nodded, her face burning with embarrassment. "Y-yes," she admitted in a tiny voice.
"I'll read it then." Vincent Vincent unfolded the letter and began to read, his brow furrowing slightly as he took in (Y/n)'s heartfelt words. (Y/n) watched him anxiously, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for his reaction.
After a long moment, Vincent set the letter aside and looked up at (Y/n) with an intensity that made her shiver. "You have feelings for me," he stated, his voice low and rough.
(Y/n) nodded shyly, unable to meet his piercing gaze. "I...I do. I've had them for a while now," she admitted softly.
Vincent reached up and cupped (Y/n)'s cheek, his thumb gently brushing over her skin. "And what do you want from me?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
(Y/n) swallowed hard, her mouth suddenly dry. "I...I want to be with you. To make you happy."
Vincent's eyes searched hers for a long moment before he pulled her down into a searing kiss. (Y/n) gasped against his lips, her body melting into his as she returned the kiss with equal passion.
When they finally broke apart, both were breathing heavily. Vincent's eyes were filled with a tenderness (Y/n) had never seen before.
"Then be mine," he whispered, pulling her into a kiss once more.
Rufus Shinra sat behind his desk, his eyes scanning over the documents laid out before him. He was in the middle of an important paperwork when his secretary walked into the office.
"Mr. Shinra, sir," she said, holding a large bouquet of red roses and a card. "These just arrived for you via courier."
Rufus raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. He took the flowers and card, dismissing his secretary with a nod. He set the roses aside for the moment, his attention focused on the card.
The letter was addressed to him personally, with a short, handwritten note on the front that simply said, "For my beloved Rufus."
Curiosity getting the better of him, Rufus carefully opened the envelope and pulled out the letter inside. He unfolded it and began to read, his eyes widening with each passing sentence.
Rufus felt his cheeks grow warm as he read the love confession, a fluttering sensation stirring in his chest. He had to admit, he was taken aback. Did (Y/n) really like him in that way?
Rufus continued to read, he was flattered that someone as wonderful as (Y/n) could have feelings for him. He set the letter down, leaning back in his chair as he tried to process his thoughts.
Rufus felt a smile tug at the corners of his mouth as he considered an idea. Yes, he would write (Y/n) back. And not just any letter, but a heartfelt response that would make it clear just how much her feelings meant to him.
He pulled out a sheet of expensive, high-quality paper and a fancy fountain pen. For several minutes, Rufus poured his heart onto the page, writing about how touched he was by (Y/n)'s confession, and how he had secretly harbored feelings for her as well.
When the letter was complete, Rufus folded it carefully and placed it into an envelope. He then selected a few thoughtful gifts to accompany it - a bottle of perfume, a pair of diamond earrings, and a box of expensive chocolates.
"Please make sure this reaches Miss (Y/n) right away," Rufus instructed his secretary as he handed over the package.
His secretary nodded, taking the items with a knowing smile. "Of course, Mr. Shinra. I'm sure Miss (Y/n) will be overjoyed."
Rufus couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement as he watched her leave. He hoped (Y/n) would be happy with his response, and that this would be the start of something beautiful between them.
.....
(Y/n) was surprised to find someone knocking on her door. She opened it to find a delivery man holding a large box, along with an envelope addressed to her.
"Delivery for Miss (Y/n)," the man said, handing over the items.
(Y/n) thanked him, closing the door once she had the package in hand. She quickly set the box down and opened the envelope, pulling out the letter inside.
Her eyes widened as she read, her heart racing with each passing sentence. It was from Rufus, and it was a response to her love letter.
(Y/n) sank down onto the couch, hardly able to believe what she was reading. Rufus returned her feelings. He wanted to be with her.
She set the letter aside and eagerly opened the box, gasping in delight at the contents. The perfume, earrings, and chocolates were all items she would never dare to buy for herself, they were so expensive.
(Y/n) felt tears of joy prickling at the corners of her eyes. She couldn't believe this was really happening. Rufus Shinra, the man she had been secretly in love with for so long, actually liked her back.
She grabbed her phone and quickly typed out a message to Rufus. "Thank you for the gifts and the lovely letter. I'm so happy you feel the same way about me. Let's meet up soon to discuss our future together."

The ask wasn’t working for some reason so now I’m in YOUR ask box 😈😈, also your totally good :DD
Omen turned back at 15s call out, looking between the two and standing taller at the threat Runner posed. Runner didn’t seem to notice, even as 15s head reeled back in pain. His eyes were locked on Omen, the need to stop Omen from hurting something he so desperately wanted to protect made him dizzy. But why did he even want to protect the thing? Did it matter? Was it apart of what they had been building? Who knows. But as his claws tore through flesh and he went to run after Omen- Omen took a couple big steps away from the heart, making Runner calm down enough to hear the thud of 15 against the floor.
Runner turned and that anger cleared up, and a look of pure guilt instead sat on his face. He went to run back over but stopped himself, holding his claws to his chest so he couldn’t possibly hurt 15 again- visibly shaking at the fact he just hurt someone— someone that actually was nice even when he could feel his body deteriorate into no longer being himself— someone he didn’t want to hurt— “I- I’m sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you-“ Runner was quickly interrupted by Omen running over and mumbling a curse under his breath, sitting 15 up and making sure that he was conscious. Protect people. That was his goal. Protect. Protect. “Hey. Hey can you hear me? Come on-“ Omen muttered, taking off the jacket he was wearing to go and wrap the claw marks, even if they healed faster.
15 felt like he was gonna pass out, barely processing that he was being held. He felt his body stitch itself back together but it didn't make the light headed ness disappear. He suddenly shoved omen away, turning to the side to puke up blood as the scent of metallic grew. He tried to stand up, holding onto omen before taking a step to runner. He stumbled across bit before seeming to recover, walking closer untill he could take runners hands in his own, ignoring the claws stained in his own blood. “Hey it's okay, I'm okay. Let's get out of here alright? Omen will catch up with us and we'll go find ruin and everything will be okay.”
He definitely wasn't in much of shape to be promising anything with how much he's been getting hurt and how much blood he has lost and he's pretty sure there's something else that's wrong but if he doesn't think about it then it will be fine. He's been through worse, it has to be fine. He gave runners hands a small squeeze, a small reminder that he was still there and that 15 wasn't scared of him, not yet.

18 headcanons for woon's 18th !
day 1 : living with woon . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
established relationship!au | roommate!woon x fem!reader ♫.genre : slice of life, so much fluff... | wc : 789 | warnings : second person pov ! woon is implied to be a student ⏤ in college or high school is up to you to decide. as always, there is some mild bickering too :') 𖤐.first post of the series ! happy birthday once again, woon <3 make sure to let me know which one you guys like the most for the full fic on the seventh day ! more details on the masterlist linked below ↓
ᵔᴗᵔ﹕masterlist | next day . . . tba !
living together-
there would never be a dull day if woonhak was living with you… literally. there’s always one thing or another happening around you guys, and you guys always make the most of it.
like, there was one time when woonhak insisted that you teach him some of the yoga/pilates things you’ve been doing in your freetime, saying something like “it can’t be that hard…”
oh boy. poor guy was shaking just using a foam roller and doing a couple of exercises with it while you were nearly crying from laughter.
“you won’t even be able to use a reformer!!”
“sh-shut up!! yes i can!!”
but even when you guys bicker with each other like that, woonhak is still someone that you can rely on for anything.
sometimes there are just days where you don’t want to do anything and just want to stay home, but he forces you to get up and do something, even if that’s going on a short little walk with him outside for some fresh air or just being next to his warmth while he’s doing homework for some of his classes, listening to his voice talking about random things to make you feel better.
he always has food prepared for you on those days – not processed, delivered food, but actual homemade food that he made, freshly prepared for you to eat.
“... thanks, woon.”
“you have to do the dishes.”
“are you kidding me???”
throwing tantrums-
cue the hundreds of videos of woon on the floor throwing a tantrum…
if something doesn’t go his way… this is definitely the type of move he would pull out of his pocket.
FOR EXAMPLE. if something goes wrong w the game he’s playing, he would lay on the floor and start doing this, causing you to run out of the kitchen, not even caring about the flour from your apron leaving a trail behind you as you stare at his flailing body.
of course. just when you're making your favorite cookies to eat during the weekend...
“... woon…?”
“oh my GOD i literally cannot beat this level this is absolutely horrible i’m so bad at this game–”
“woon– oh my god–” you run over and reach out to him to grab his hand holding the flailing controller, putting it down and grabbing both his wrists, successfully putting them above his head as you stare down at him. he finally stops and sighs, looking into your eyes.
“you know, sometimes i wonder if i’m babysitting a child or if i’m living with my boyfriend.”
woon scoffs, all thoughts about the game forgotten as he swiftly switches your positions so that he was on top of you now.
“well, obviously your boyfriend, right?” he gives you a mischievous smile before he starts tickling your sides, getting flour all over his clothing and face before you’re finally able to make him stop.
yes, throwing a tantrum means you have to go and calm him down… which also means this happens every single time too. you still haven’t quite figured out a way to get out of the situation, which wasn't good because woon was getting better day by day at finding your weak spots.
"woon – oh my god – let go of me! my cookies are going to burn!"
"not until you say that i'm the bestest boyfriend in the world."
"jesus christ–"
coparenting a pet-
now, although you insisted that you have enough on your hands with woon in the house, he always wanted to get a pet – a pet dog, specifically. you’ve always said no because that would be too much of a commitment for you guys. but… for his birthday, you finally decided to give in – all the while doing a small prank.
see, you packaged a couple of cute dog toys and gave it to him on the morning of his birthday. he opened them up, happy to see the plushies but a little confused.
“aren’t these for… dogs…?”
you couldn’t help but smile. “check outside.”
his eyes light up immediately and he zooms out of the room, and you follow him with your phone recording, watching as he picks up the dog from the box that you bought him in and had left outside just a couple minutes ago, the small brown furball nearly disappearing in his arms.
his eyes look at yours with a look of wonder and joy, and he smiles so wide, making your heart warm just by looking at the two of them together. he puts down the dog softly on the floor and immediately pulls you into his embrace, his large hand covering the back of your head and burying himself into your scent by snuggling into the crevice of your shoulder.
“thank you so much, love.”

Jack Harper x F!Reader
Summary: Your relationship with Jack has reached a point where it feels like it's going nowhere. You're not sure what to do anymore to break through that wall he's put up. On a bad day, you decide just to give up altogether. If he's not willing to make an effort so aren't you.
CW: SPOILERS, heavy angst, drama, mention of child neglect, mention of harassment, mention of past relationships, snap judgments, smoking, heartbreak, but HOPEFUL ENDING, I swear.
LONG A/N: Yeah, you've read it right. I wrote a fic for Jack before the show comes out. I think I have enough insight from the book and the details I've found about the show to mix and match a story for him.
I kept some things from the book that are going to change in the show like Jack's niece. She's younger and has a different name in the book that I liked better, so I went with that version instead. Everyone is a little shitty on this story, including reader and Jack, which is on par with the book. And this is written in a similar way the book is. The first half is from reader's pov, and the other half from Jack's pov.

It's dark, windy, downright pouring like hell when you head out the door after clocking out of the inn you work at.
Opening your umbrella, you walk against the wind towards the corner that leads to the parking lot. A car passes by fast on your side, driving carelessly over a big puddle that splashes your legs. You turn back and flip him off, but the car is too far gone to see you.
When you bend the corner, you glance around to find his car. It's hidden behind an SUV, and you don't see it until two beams of headlights flash at you twice.
You rush in that direction, trying to avoid getting soaked, but it's impossible. By the time you reach the passenger door, the wind has made sure to push as much water as it could in your direction,
Drenched head to toe, you close the umbrella and climb into the car, yanking the door close as hard as you can.
“Fuck.” You toss the umbrella to the backseat.
“Good evening to you too, sweetheart,” he scoffs behind the wheel.
“Sorry. Just one of these days, you know?”
“Anything I can do?” Jack extends a hand to caress your cold neck. His palm is warm against your skin, collecting the raindrops that fell on you.
“Just take me home. I can't do this right now.”
“Are you sure?”
Without answering, you open Jack's glove box and find that pack of smokes he keeps at the back. He's tried to quit many times but keeps this one here from when the urge arises. You're not a smoker per se, but today you could really use one to calm yourself.
You stick one cigarette between your lips and reach out to the inside pocket of the jacket he's wearing to find a silver zippo lighter.
“Help yourself.”
Lighting it up, you take a long drag and hang your head back against the headrest, letting the smoke intoxicate your lungs before expelling it through your lips.
“Do you wanna talk about it?”
“No. Not really.” You offer him a puff, and he hesitates for a second before picking the cigarette between your fingers.
“Why not?”
“Cause I don't wanna burden you. Besides, this works better if we don't talk, right? That's what you said.”
“I didn't mean it like that.” He passes the cigarette back to you.
“It's fine, Jack. Just drive.”
He tilts his head to the side, staring ahead at the mass of water pelting on the windshield with rage. The sky is violently struck by a massive lightning bolt, outlining in a blue electric shade the mountains that paint the landscape of Dahlonega.
You're sure he wants to protest or even explain what he meant, but he never does. Everything just hangs in the air between you two as usual. It's what you've come to know about Jack Harper. This is transactional for both, an escape from your miserable lives. But right now, this feels just as pathetic. You hate hiding like this, like you're a hooker he has to take to some clandestine dark nook around town to do unspeakable things. He's been divorced for two years and is still afraid of showing you around town, so people don't come to any assumptions. And you hate that. There was a time when you'd find yourself thinking this could become real some day. But it never comes. Your relationship has reached a plateau and if he's not willing to move up higher, then you'd have to move on without him… Eventually. There are things in your life that are keeping you from making that leap. Right now, being in this fixed place feels somewhat safe, even if it isn't where you want to be. Spending time with him, however that looks or means, is better than nothing.
Despite all that, you have bigger problems in your life than Jack being a dormant lover. One of them being your ex constantly harassing you to no end. Mostly via phone. But today he reached a new level of psycho when he showed up in the middle of your shift to ask you for money. He put you in a very difficult situation where you had to give him what you had in your wallet in exchange for him not making a scene. He also threatened you with plastering the building you work at with compromising photos he took of you when you were together. It was probably a mistake to bend up so easily to his extortion antics. You know that this would serve as precedent for him to do the same bit again. And you can't afford that.
Jack has made it clear before that he's not looking for that kind of relationship where you can freely confide in the other. He knows your ex is an asshole, but he has no idea to what degree. And right now, you wish you could tell him, cause you're running out of ideas to keep that fucking dumbass away.
The car veers through the streets, carefully moving under the unwavering storm. The old wipers whine against the glass, exerting themselves to keep the view unobstructed. Inside the car, there's nothing but a heavy silence, broken only by the thunderous roar of the rainstorm. On a night like this, you'd usually drive to your spot in the woods behind the train station or go to that motel in Gainesville if you can, it's always worth the drive. But tonight he's taking you home and doesn't press further on why you've chosen that. Sometimes you wish you could just yell at him, tell him you're drowning, and you're sick of him treating you like garbage, but you won't. Instead, a knot forms in your throat, bottling up all those words that are making your body hurt inside and out. You don't expect him to magically cure any of your imaginary ailments. You just want him to be willing to listen sometimes. That's all you need.
“You could come in, you know? Maybe stay the night?” you suggest when the car pulls up in front of your place, situated in the middle of a row of townhouses that look identical.
“Can't. I gotta check Zoe hasn't burned down the house.”
“How would she do that?”
“Pfft, you name it. Sometimes she leaves the stove on, or falls asleep with a cigarette lit on the couch. Came home once to find one of those hair curling sticks plugged, burning over a towel.”
“Hm, sounds like a handful.”
“I'd bring you with me, but—“
“She hates my guts. I know.”
It's not news to you that Zoe Harper despises you. You went to school with her at St. Hilary's Academy, and the two of you never got along. She was part of the mean clique along with Jack's ex-wife, Anna. Everyone was a target to them, including you. Zoe in particular still has a big hate boner against you, cause she never grew up out of that phase. Even in her thirties with a toddler, she's incapable of letting go of the fact that one of her ex-boyfriends in high school dated you after breaking up with her. She blamed it on you, of course, though you never met him after the fact. Just like your ex, she harassed you until the end of the school year, spreading unbelievable rumors about you. Luckily, everyone knew that was their shtick, and no one ever believed the insane lies that came out of her mouth.
“Is that why you're sleeping with me? To piss your sister off?” You can't help but wonder.
“No, she doesn't know about us. It doesn't take much to piss her off, so I'd be pretty dumb to go through all this trouble when I could just hide her glue gun.”
“Right. Do you think there'd be a time when you could stay? Or go on a date with me during the day?”
“Why are you asking me this now?” He deadpans.
“I don't know, Jack. I'm just wondering. I like you. You seem to like me. These are normal questions people have when they like someone, but I'm guessing from your expression that I have it all wrong.”
Silence. Again.
The man is a wall you can tear down, and you’re not sure why you still try or why you even care the slightless about him when he’s clearly signaling this is nothing but sex to him.
Your phone interrupts that unnerving stillness when it starts blasting a string of messages. Your ex. Probably drunk-texting the usual repertoire about how much of a bitch you are, as if he didn’t have enough with what he did earlier.
You glance down at the phone in your palm, reading the last troubling text he sent, and dare to ask, “say, hypothetically, if someone was harassing you, do you make an appointment with the police, or should someone just show up and report it at the station? How much evidence do you need?”
“What? Is someone harassing you?” He finally responds.
“No, it was just a hypothetical. Indulge me, just for fun.”
“Okay, if someone was being harassed for sure they should go report it. Guess depends on a few factors. You’d need to present proof of a relationship to the respondent, evidence whether it is physical, threats, stalking, harassment… You’d need an explanation of why you believe you’re in immediate danger to issue a temporary restraining order. Wouldn’t hurt to consult a lawyer, either.”
“That’s what I thought. Thanks.” You say curtly, grabbing your bag and tucking your phone inside.
“Is this what’s worrying you today?”
“No,” you shake your head as you reach for the door handle.
“Should I pick you up tomorrow?”
“No. I don’t think you should. Unless you change your mind about staying one night, you shouldn’t come around anymore, Jack. Take care,” you find yourself saying, rushing to leave the car at once. The way you shut the door serves as a period to a chapter that's run on for too long.
Now that you've said it, It’s definite. If he’s going to give you nothing but silence, then you’re not going to waste your time anymore.
Jack hangs his head down after watching you enter your house. There's nothing that he'd love more than to chase you and stay with you, but there's something inside that's keeping him from it. The fear of letting you down and screwing another relationship paralyzes him. That's why he's stunned every time you make an attempt to move forward with this. He has no doubt you'd be better off without him, so he'd rather let you down now than further down the line.
As he drives home, he can't get out of his obtuse mind the way your face changed when you looked at your phone and the hypothetical question that you presented him. You wouldn't be asking if it wasn't real, he believes. Maybe it's for you or for a friend, but he doesn't plan on letting that fall through the cracks like everything else in his life. If someone is harassing you, he can't turn a blind eye and let you get hurt or worse. So, he pins that thought to check on later. Though you've asked him to stay away, he can't disappear without knowing that you're okay.
By the time he parks on the driveway of his childhood home, it's stopped raining. He captures the TV glow through the window before heading inside.
His sister has passed out on the couch as usual watching one of those reality channels. Luckily, no cigarette in hand but a handful of empty beer cans clutter the coffee table between her array of supplies she uses for crafting. When he finds the remote, he switches the TV off and heads upstairs.
There's another light coming from the cracked door of Olivia's room when he climbs the staircase to the second floor. He pushes the door open to find his almost three-year-old niece having a party with her stuffies in the rug.
“Uncle Jack!” The little girl beams when he sees his face.
“What are you still doing up, lil bug?” he smiles, crouching down to hug her.
“I was hungry.”
“You didn't have dinner?”
She shakes her head, “mommy fell asleep.”
It's hard not to think badly of her sister when she does shit like this. He abstains from being judgmental, but tonight, he can't help it. All she has to do is take care of Olivia. She has no job besides selling cheap jewelry and clothes that almost nobody wants. What else is keeping her from meeting her daughter's basic needs? Really. It doesn't make sense to him. Her immaturity never left her, even after having a baby she still acts like a fifteen-year old. Some people don't deserve to be parents, and Zoe is one of them.
If it wasn't for Olivia, he wouldn't put up with Zoe's crap like he does.
He takes her downstairs and whips out something quick for her to eat. In a plate, he puts some chopped baby carrots, crackers, and cheese so she can snack while he fries some fish sticks and mixes some instant mashed potatoes. To be honest, he's not sure how much a toddler should eat at night, but he's going to let her have what she wants cause he's not sure when was the last time she had a full meal.
Olivia seems happy with his choices. She'd be a picky eater if she wasn't so hungry. She quickly devours everything he puts on her plate.
After dinner, Zoe is still deeply asleep in the same place while he helps Olivia to brush her teeth with her tiny brush he bought her the other day. It has a unicorn on the handle, which she adores.
When brushing time is done, he reads her a book and watches her fall asleep in record time.
Spending time with Olivia is lovely. It's such a beautiful picture, his heart aches for that part of him he lost. He was more than ready to be a dad, always hands on when he needed to during those short months she was on this earth.
With the weight of the world quickly settling on top of his shoulders, he retreats back to his room to see if he can put himself together the same way. He takes a shower and shaves the stubble on his face before slipping into bed. He closes his eyes, but after an hour, sleep seems to elude him. Something makes his stomach turn, and not because he's hungry. It's something else entirely. It's a gut feeling that tells him something is going on with you, and you’re not willing to tell him because he's kept you at an arm's length. God, he's such an asshole, he thinks as he flips on the bed to check the time on his phone.
It's late. But not terribly late to correct a mistake.
Jack quickly puts on some clothes without thinking, grabs his keys and phone to pay you a visit.
He makes sure Olivia's still asleep before heading out the door. Zoe is awake now on the couch, watching TV. She barely glances at him or acknowledges his presence when he lies to her, telling her that he was called to the station, that he’d probably be out all night.
The streets are empty and still soaked in a thick layer of water from the storm. He allows himself to drive a little faster now that he can.
Following another light, he knows you’re still up by the yellow glow filtering behind the curtains of one of the windows. He pulls up in the empty driveway of your house, and uses his phone to text you, typing he’s outside.
Jack waits for a minute before seeing the curtains move to show your face. He waves timidly and beckons you to meet him at the door.
“What are you doing here, Jack?”
“I thought about what you said and… Can we talk inside?”
“Are you sure? What would the neighbors say if they saw you here?” You mock him with annoyance in your tone. “Cause if Mrs. Greer sees you spending more than two minutes here, she’ll get the wrong idea. And you know how fast news travels around here.”
“Please? I just need a minute.”
Exhaling, you step backwards and open the door wider to let him in.
The TV is on when he enters the living room, and he's taken aback upon seeing the face of his ex-wife on the screen in the news segment she anchors at WSK.
“You don't have to say it. I'm pathetic.” You scoff, turning it off.
“You're not pathetic,” he's quick to reply.
“You know, I get it. She's smart and pretty, and everything I'd never be. I wouldn't blame you if you were still hung up on her. It'd explain a lot.”
It breaks his heart seeing you like this. Anna is part of his past that he’s definitely not looking to revisit. He’s not sure what you’re yet, but he’d never want you to think that you're anything less than amazing. That’s his fault for drawing this out.
“It's not that, sweetheart. I just think you deserve better than this, than me… I'm screwed up. I don't have anything to offer you right now. I know it, she knows it, too.” He vaguely gestures at the now-black flat screen, and pauses. “You think you want me, but you don't. It'll pass.”
“That's such s lame cop out. Why does every guy in my life think they know what I want or need better than me, huh? It's my choice to ruin my life if I want to. You don't get to decide. If you don't wanna be with me, that's fine, but don't say it's because I don't know what I want. Do you know what you want, Jack?”
His chin nods gently, staring down for a beat.
“Then say it.” You press him, folding your arms against your stomach. “You came back to talk, so talk.”
“It wouldn't work out between us.”
“That's not what I asked.”
Jack clears his throat. “It's not that simple.”
“Good things never are.” You keep hitting the ball into his side of the court.
“Fine! You win, okay?” His voice raises up, as all those unsaid secrets find a way out of his chest. “I can't stop thinking about you. Best thing in my life right now is when I get to pick you up and spend that little time together, and it's never enough. And I don't know how to do this anymore, how to be with someone. I don't wanna hurt you. And I can’t let my guard down again… what happened the last time… it can’t happen again…”
You see him choking up, overcome with emotion, as he trails off.
“Jack.” You bring your hands up to cup his jaw in your palms.
You open your mouth to say something else, but now it's you that gets to be speechless, so you just pull his face close, so his forehead falls on top of yours. He closes his eyes, and you close yours, letting the circling of your thumbs sooth the freshly-shaved skin of his cheeks. There’s really nothing you can say to ease the pain that he still harbors.
“It's okay,” you say after a long minute. “We don't have to rush into anything. We'll figure it out as we go. I just need you to talk to me, Jack. Just once in a while. You think we could do that? Be honest with each other?”
“Yeah, I think so,” he exhales, letting a small part of that heaviness he carries evaporate in the open space.
When he pulls his head back, you open your eyes as he places a kiss on your forehead, before locking his arms around you. His nose captures the scent of your hair while you tuck your arms around his torso.
Now that the air seems slightly clearer between you, he relaxes in your embrace for longer than he ever has. It feels like you’re holding him up, instead the other way around.
Something creeps back into his stomach—that uneasy feeling that wouldn’t let him sleep and that brought him to your door. He clears his throat to swallow the bittersweet taste left in his mouth of that sudden confession to change the subject and focus on you instead.
He hesitates to ask, but he has to.
“Hey. Do you think we could start now, being honest, I mean?”
“Sure.” You tilt your head back to capture his gaze.
“What you asked me about earlier in the car when I brought you home about harassing, I know you didn’t just ask for the sake of asking. Is there something going on, sweetheart?”
“Hm, nothing you need to worry about.” Your tone says the opposite as you suddenly pull away from his arms to busy your hands spreading the throw pillows on your couch evenly apart.
“Thought this is what you wanted. To talk.”
“This is not your problem, Jack.”
“That’s where you draw the line? Just cause it’s not my problem doesn’t mean I can’t help. I can see you’re scared, so—please, make it my problem.”
He watches you sigh with heaviness as you put the pillow in your hands down before grabbing your phone from the table.
After unlocking it and finding the text chain between you and your ex, you hand the phone to Jack so he can see for himself.
“Holy shit.”
He scrolls, dumbfounded, through a one-sided alarming thread of messages that are made of threats, degrading insults, intimidation, blackmail… You hardly ever reply unless he threatens you to do so.
“Have you tried blocking him?”
“Of course, I've tried. He shows up here if I do so. He likes to know that I read all the shit he sends. He gets off on it. He showed up today at work and I had to give him money so he'd go.”
This is more serious than he initially thought. He has to pull his eyes away from the screen after skimming roughly through over 50 messages that seem to keep going.
“You shouldn't have put this off. You could've easily got a restraining order with half of these.”
“I mean, he's never hurt me. At least there's that. He's like one of those dogs. He's all bark.”
“Yet.” Jack remarks. “He hasn't hurt you yet. What's this thing about a picture?”
“What do you think? I was stupid. I let him take pictures of me, you know… intimate pictures. Now he's saying he's going to put them all over town, so everyone can see what a slut I am.”
“You're not stupid, sweetheart. C'mere. Let's sit.” His hand points at the couch where you sit.
He lowers his backside on top of the coffee table in front of you.
“Keep these.” He puts your phone between your palms. “Tomorrow, we'll go to the station and you'll show them. I'll check with the inn, see if I can have access to the security feed.”
“Okay.”
“This is what you wanna do, right?”
You waver. “I suppose so. I just wish he'd leave me alone.”
“You gave him money. He's not going to leave you alone anytime soon now that he knows he can twist your arm like that.”
“I'm sorry I made it your problem.”
“Don't apologize. I asked you to.”
“So, what now?”
He tiredly shrugs his shoulders. “Guess we just wait and see what happens tomorrow.”
“Will you go in with me?”
“Yeah, don't worry. You're not doing this alone.” He gently cradles your hands in his palms, drawing soothing circles on your skin with his thumbs.
This is progress. It's scary, but it's a step in the right direction. He can't stay stuck red living the same day as in Groundhog Day. That's not living. This is it, holding you in his hands seems so simple yet so incredible.
Jack shifts in his seat on the table to sit next to you on the couch. His arms hold you closely as you search in his mouth something to put you at ease. He can't tell by the way your lip trembles that you're just as terrified. Perhaps not of this, you and him, but from that other situation you find yourself in. He provides a much necessary relief in the way his tongue gently massages yours. One of his hands is drawn under the hem of your top to find the warmth of your skin. It makes your hair stick out when the feather-light gliding of his fingers moves across the length of your backbone.

Loved You First
Miguel Diaz x Reader
Warnings: Some Adult Language, Angst, Fluff, Jealousy, Break Up, Heartbreak, Mini Make Out Session, And Possible Grammar Errors. (Sorry If I Forgot Any!!)
Summary: Miguel has known Y/N ever since he moved into town. As time went on he developed feelings for his best friend. When Junior Prom approaches Miguel goes to ask Y/N to Prom, but is heartbroken to find out that she already has a date.
Song Inspiration: Loved You First By One Direction
Word Count: 1,714
Author’s Note: Here is my first Miguel Diaz imagine! I really wanted to write for him since he reminds me of Daniel from the movies and I love Daniel so much obviously. Also I couldn’t for some reason add a link of the song so if you want to listen to it just go on YouTube and you can listen to it there! Hope you all enjoy!
Y/N and Miguel have been friends ever since Miguel had moved into town. Y/N was one of Miguel’s first friends since she was the one that showed him around their school. Her dad is the principal of the school they go to.
Since day one Y/N has always been by Miguel’s side. She’s been to every karate tournament cheering him on in the stands. When Miguel didn’t think he was going to be able to walk again Y/N was there helping him with Johnny. The confidence she has in him is what gives him confidence.
As time went on Miguel has grown feelings for Y/N. At first it only started out as a crush but turned into love really quick.
The school’s junior prom was coming up and Hawk and Dimitri had finally convinced Miguel to ask Y/N. Miguel has been putting it off because of his nerves but after having a pep talk from Johnny, he finally got the confidence.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
It was the end of the school day and Miguel just got out of his last class. He immediately spotted Y/N standing at her locker by herself. Miguel could feel his nerves start to pace so he took a deep and calming breath. “Just remember what Sensei told you.” Miguel whispered to himself. Once he finally felt his nerves relaxed, he walked over to Y/N.
“Hey, Y/N.” Miguel said getting her attention. “Hey, Miguel.” Y/N said with a smile. “What’s going on?” Y/N asked him in a curious tone. “You know how prom is coming up soon, right?” Miguel asked her. “Yes! I’m so excited!” Y/N told him with excitement in her voice. “Well, I was wondering if you-” Miguel started to say but a voice cut him off before he could finish his sentence.
The voice belonged to a boy. Miguel has never seen the boy before. “Hey, Y/N.” The boy said standing next to Y/N. “Hey Nathan.” Y/N said to him. “Miguel, this is Nathan. He just moved here a couple of months ago.” Y/N said introducing them to each other. “Nice to meet you.” Nathan told Miguel with a kind smile. “You, too.” Miguel said with just a nod of the head.
“Are you ready for our date?” Nathan asked Y/N in a curious tone. Miguel felt his heart sink to the floor when Nathan said the word date. “Sure am.” Y/N said closing her locker. “See you later, Miguel.” Y/N said and walked past him with Nathan by her side. “See you later.” Miguel muttered out as he watched Y/N walk down the hallway with Nathan.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
It was the night of the prom and Miguel really didn’t want to go since Y/N is Nathan’s date. But some how he got Hawk and Dimitri to convince him to go. His mom and Johnny also told him to go since he’s only going to have one junior prom.
Miguel was standing at a table with Hawk and Dimitri. He was watching Y/N and Nathan dancing on the dance floor together. Seeing Y/N having the best time with a different guy made Miguel sick to his stomach in jealousy. It wasn’t fair. Miguel fell in love with Y/N first. He’s loved Y/N before Nathan even came into town. Everything Y/N has done with Nathan; she should be doing with Miguel.
“Dude, you staring at Y/N isn’t helping you.” Hawk told Miguel in a stern tone. “I can’t fucking help it!” Miguel said with frustration in his voice looking away from Y/N. “Miguel, trust us. We really wanted you to get with Y/N, but Nathan got to her first.” Dimitri told him. “But I loved her first!” Miguel said still frustration his voice. He let out a sigh as he ran one of his hands through his hair.
“It’s no one’s fault but mine.” Miguel said in a calmer voice. “If I would’ve just told Y/N my feelings sooner, that would be me out there with her.” Miguel added. “Come on Miguel, you’re being way to hard on yourself.” Hawk told him. “I’m just going to go home.” Miguel told them and walked away. Hawk and Dimitri called out to Miguel, but he just kept on walking.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Ever since prom Y/N hasn’t seen or heard from Miguel which has made her very worried about him. She would text or call him, but no response. She feels like she did something wrong.
When Y/N was walking the halls, she saw Hawk. “Hey, Hawk.” Y/N called out as she jogged up to him. Hawk stopped walking and turned around to face her. “Y/N, what’s up?” Hawk said in a curious tone. “Have you seen or heard from Miguel?” Y/N asked him. “Yeah, I was actually just talking with him.” Hawk answered her. “Oh.” Y/N said with a frown.
“Why, is everything okay?” Hawk asked her with concern in his voice. “Ever since prom he seems to be avoiding me.” Y/N told him with sadness. “Did I do something wrong?” Y/N asked him. “Of course you didn’t do anything wrong.” Hawk said reassuring her. “Then why is Miguel ignoring me?” Y/N asked with a hint of frustration in her voice. “Ugh, fuck! Miguel is going to kick my ass for this.” Hawk said with a groan. “What?” Y/N asked him with confusion.
“Miguel is in love with you.” Hawk told her. He really wanted Miguel to be the one to tell her, but seeing the state Y/N is in, he knew she deserves to know. Y/N felt her whole body go into shock. Miguel has feelings for her. Not just a crush but love, he loves her. “Fuck, I shouldn’t have told you that.” Hawk said with regret. “No!” Y/N said quickly. “I’m glad you told me.” Y/N said reassuring him. “I have to go find him.” Y/N said and walked away from Hawk.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
It was nighttime and Y/N was at the drive-in movies with Nathan. She tried all day to find Miguel, but she had no luck. She’s been thinking about Miguel all day. In her classes she kept losing focus. As she sat in Nathan’s car all she could think about was of course Miguel. She was barely watching the movie.
“Hey.” Nathan said getting her attention. “You, okay?” Nathan asked her. “You’ve been quiet all night.” He added. “Sorry, I just have a lot going on in my head.” Y/N told him. “Does it have something to do with Miguel?” Nathan asked which took her by surprise. She knew not to lie. “Yes.” Y/N said with a nod.
“You have feelings for him.” Nathan said taking her by surprise again. “What?” Y/N said in a surprised tone. “Y/N, I don’t know if you noticed, but all you talk about is Miguel.” Nathan told her.
Right when he said that is when she realized that she does having feelings for Miguel. “Shit!” Y/N said. “Nathan, I am so sorry, but you’re right. I do have feelings for Miguel. I didn’t realize it until now.” Y/N told him immediately feeling bad for him. “Y/N, you have nothing to be sorry about.” Nathan told her in a reassuring tone. “You feel how you feel.” He added. Y/N just gave him a nod. She doesn’t know what else to say to Nathan.
“Can I give you some advice?” Nathan asked her. Y/N gave him another nod. “Next time you see Miguel, just come out and tell him how you feel.” Nathan told her. “I will.” Y/N told him. “Thanks, Nathan.” Y/N said to him with a small smile. “It’s no problem.” Nathan told her returning the small smile.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
After Nathan dropped Y/N off at her house she got into her own car and drove to Miguel’s apartment. Even though she knows Miguel feels the same way she still couldn’t help but feel nervous. She’s scared that it might be too late.
Y/N parked her car and turned it off. She got out of her car and walk to Miguel’s apartment door. She knocked on the door lightly with her knuckles and waited patiently. When the door opened there stood Miguel.
“Y/N?” Miguel said surprised to see her at his door. “What are you doing here so late?” Miguel asked her. It was little bit after nine-thirty. “Sorry for showing up late and out of the blue, but I really need to talk to you.” Y/N told him. Miguel noticed the seriousness in her eyes. “Oh, okay.” Miguel said stepping out of his apartment. He closed the door behind him.
“What’s up?” Miguel asked her. “Nathan and I broke up tonight.” Y/N told him. When those words came out of Y/N’s mouth Miguel wanted to do a back flip in excitement, but he knew not to. “Oh, um I’m sorry to hear that.” Miguel told her. Y/N saw right through his lie, but she wasn’t mad about it.
“Nathan actually helped me realize something.” Y/N told him. “What was it?” Miguel asked her in a curious tone. Y/N took one of his hands into hers which took Miguel by surprise. “You’re the one I have feelings for.” Y/N told him looking up into his eyes. “I have feelings for you, too.” Miguel told her taking her other hand into his. “Shit, I’m actually in love with you.” Miguel added as he stared back into her eyes.
Y/N wanted to tell him that she knows about his feelings, but she didn’t want to throw Hawk under the bus.
“I’m sorry it took me this long to realize my feelings for you.” Y/N told him. “Hey, it’s okay.” Miguel reassured her. “You’re here now and that’s all that matters.” Miguel told her with a smile forming on his lips. Y/N lips turned up into a smile, too.
They both leaned in at the same time and connected their lips together. Their lips fit perfectly together. As they kissed Miguel’s hands landed on her hips while Y/N’s arms wrapped around Miguel’s neck.
“Fuck yeah, Miguel!” They heard a voice yell out which made them release from the kiss. When they looked over, they saw that the voice belonged to Johnny. He was standing outside of his apartment door.
“Damn it, sensei!” Miguel said with a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance in his tone. Y/N couldn’t help but let out a giggle.

Unspoken Desires - Myung Jaehyun
Jaehyun x fem. reader
Note: How much of a sissy I am for him is not written, he is so >>>>>>
Warning: Relationship established, suggestive (not +18), the reader had his first kiss, so she was afraid.
Myunjae was standing by the door, wearing a smile that mixed self-assurance with something softer, almost tender.
He seemed completely at ease, but you knew that calm hid an intensity that made him irresistible. The air between you was charged, as if something important was about to happen.
"Do you always get so quiet when I'm around?" Asked, his voice husky but playful.
You awkwardly laughed, looking away. "Maybe it's because you're a bit... intimidating."
"Intimidating?" He moved closer slowly, closing the door behind him. "I’m not sure if that’s a compliment or a critique."
"Both, maybe."
Jae smiled, stopping right in front of you. "Then it's my turn to be honest: you make me curious. I want to know what’s behind all that silence."
The silence between you stretched on, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. It was full of tension, the kind that makes your heart race and the air feel heavier.
He raised one of his hands, hesitating for a moment before letting his fingers trail along the side of your face.
"You’re shaking," murmured, his voice so low it felt like a secret.
"It’s your fault," you replied, trying to sound confident but feeling your voice falter.
Jaehyun chuckled, the sound warm and inviting.
Slowly, he took your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours while his other hand rested on your waist and gently pulled you closer, reducing the distance between you until there was no space left.
"What if I’m afraid of falling?" you asked, vulnerability slipping out before you could stop it.
Myung tilted his head, his eyes shining with something that mixed understanding and desire. "I’ll catch you."
That was all it took. A second later, your lips met, and the impact was overwhelming. It wasn’t soft or shy; it was urgent, as though you both had been waiting for this for a long time.
The puppy held your face firmly, his thumbs caressing your cheeks as he deepened the kiss.
When he pulled away, just enough to look at you, his eyes were filled with an intensity that made your heart race.
"See?" he said with a small, almost arrogant smile, though still full of affection. "It wasn’t that scary."
You laughed, breathless, still tasting him on your lips. "Maybe you’re right. Maybe it’s just... the beginning."
Jaehyun took your hand again, intertwining his fingers with yours, and pulled you close once more, making it clear that the moment was far from over.
His fingers slowly traveled down your arm, climbing as though memorizing every inch of your skin.
He pulled you closer, until the heat of his body was impossible to ignore. The silence in the room was broken only by your deepening breaths, growing more rapid and uneven.
When he leaned his face in, his lips touched the exact spot below your ear, a soft, slow kiss that made your skin shiver. Myunjae smiled against your skin, as though he knew exactly the effect he was having.
Without hurry, he slid his fingers to the curve of your waist, squeezing lightly before pulling you onto his lap.
The closeness was suffocating and electrifying at the same time, and you found yourself completely drawn into his gaze, as if everything else around you had disappeared.
"I like this about you," he said, the words laden with a sincerity that almost hurt. "This mix of courage and hesitation... It’s impossible to resist."
His hands slowly moved up your back, finding sensitive spots and exploring them with a precision that made your heart race.
When his lips finally met yours again, the kiss wasn’t rushed. It was deep, exploratory, as though each touch was a map to an unknown territory.
Jaehyun’s breathing grew heavier, and the way he held you now was firmer, more urgent. He let his lips wander to your neck, placing kisses and small touches of his tongue that sent waves of heat throughout your body.
"Do you know what you’re doing to me?" he whispered against your skin, his teeth grazing lightly over your earlobe before biting gently.
You couldn’t answer. There were no words that could capture what you felt. Instead, you let your hands speak, sliding over his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart under his thin shirt.
Your fingers paused on the buttons, hesitant, but Myung held your hand, guiding it with a smile that was both reassuring and full of desire.
"No rush" he said, but the way he looked at you made it clear he was far from indifferent to what was happening.
He gently laid you down on the couch, his body hovering over yours but with no weight, as if every movement was carefully calculated not to invade too much of your space.
His hand found its way back to your waist, slowly rising, exploring the bare skin that the clothes no longer covered.
"I want you, but only if you want the same" Jaehyun said, his voice husky but filled with care.
Your eyes met his, and the answer didn’t need to be said in words. Instead, you pulled him back to you, your lips meeting once more in a kiss that was more than just desire – it was surrender.
Jaehyun’s touches grew more intense, but never rushed. Every movement was a display of care and desire, a perfect balance that made time feel nonexistent.
Your breathing intertwined in the air, and the heat of your bodies filled the space around you.

HOW MAKNAE LINE FOUND OUT
Enhypen 8thmember!oc

Jungwon : The members agreed if anyone in the maknae line was gonna find out first it should be Jungwon. He’s the leader and it makes sense he should know for the dynamic of the team. It had been a month since they started dating and thought now would be a good time to tell Jungwon. The five of them were gathered in Roza’s room when they messaged Jungwon telling him to come see them.
“Hey, what's up?” Jungwon said, clearly confused as he was greeted by the five members waiting for him. “Umm, we wanted to talk to you about something…” Roza said quietly. Jungwon felt a little scared, was he in trouble or were they angry at him. He didn't know. “Is something wrong?” “no.. it's about something important. Sit down” Jungwon sat down next to Roza as Heeseung got ready to speak. “So I'm sure you have been well aware that some of us have had romantic feelings for Roza, Right?” Heeseung started. “Maybe…” Jungwon replied. “Well those feelings have turned into a relationship,” Heeseung continued. “With who?” Jungwon blurted, quickly looking at Roza to find out which member she was dating.
“That's the thing, it's not just one member.” “Wait, now I'm confused? More than one of you is dating Roza?” “all four of us are…” Jake said getting right to the point. “What…” “I know it's a lot to process but it's true and we wanted to let you know first because you're the leader.” Roza said as Jungwon’s mind went into overdrive. “All of you… at the same time?” “yes” they all said at once. “Well that's different, but i guess if it works why not?”
The air in the room was still thick as the members sat in silence. “Was that it?” “yea, that was it…” Roza whispered. “That wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It was kinda obvious you guys like Roza, but this wasn't the outcome I was expecting.” “Was it really that obvious?” Jay said. “I mean kinda, Niki was already suspicious.” “Really, He was?” Heeseung said as he was nervous. “What did he say?” “He said he caught you guys talking about it a couple of weeks ago?” “he was properly spying on us” “Yes i was” the members turn to see Niki at the door. “What are you doing? We're having a private conversation.” “Well you left the door wide open, that's not my fault.” He smirked.
Niki : “What's up?”. “I have a question and I want you to be honest with me”. “Yea dude, of course what up?” Jay said, getting a little concerned. Heeseung took a deep breath as he calmed his nerves before speaking. “How would you feel about us dating Roza… like at the same time?”. “You mean like us four all dating Roza together…” Jay said, clarifying what he heard. “Yeah, I don't know. Heeseung and I brought it up last night and it truly doesn't sound like a bad idea knowing how we all feel about her. This might be the best solution”. Heeseung nodded his head in agreement with Jake.
Niki stood outside the door as the older members talked amongst themself. Niki wasn't surprised at all. He had a hunch that at least two of them liked Roza but all of them. That was a little surprising. As Niki continued to listen through the door he heard them finishing up their talk and quickly went back to his room. Later that week he made his way to Jungwon's room to talk to him about what he found out.
“Hyung, can I talk to you?” “yeah what's up?” Niki braced himself as he knew what he was gonna say would sound a little weird. “I'm pretty sure the hyung’s like Roza…” “really, you think?” “well i don't think i know…” “wait what! How?” “I overheard them talking about it the other day.” Jungwon sat there confused. “All of them?” “Yeah, I think so?” “That's interesting,” Jungwon said, eyebrows furrowed together. “Well I guess we'll just have to see what happens with that then…” “What's the probability that they all date her” Niki said, a smirk on his face. “I'm gonna say pretty low… doesn't seem likely to me. Now leave my room.” Niki got up leaving Jungwon alone.
Niki had just finished gaming when he overheard the members talking. “What are they doing?” walking towards the sound, he was surprised to find the members all talking with the door wide open. He stood there and continued to listen as they talked.
“I mean kinda, Niki was already suspicious.” “Really, He was?” Heeseung said as he was nervous. “What did he say?” “He said he caught you guys talking about it a couple of weeks ago?” “he was properly spying on us”
“Yes i was” the members turn to see Niki at the door. “What are you doing? We're having a private conversation.” “Well you left the door wide open, that's not my fault.” He smirked. He watched as the Hyung line began to argue about who left it open. “It was probably Jake,” Jay pointed. “It wasn't me! It was probably Sunghoon!” Jake yelled back. Niki looked at Roza who called him over to join her and Jungwon on her bed. “So you already knew?” Roza questioned. “Not fully, but I had a hunch that was what was happening. You guys also were not subtle at all… just saying.” He laughed.
“Oh well, at least you know… only Sooyoung and Sunoo left.” She whispered. The four older boys were still squabbling when Roza told them to leave. “Wait, why?” Heeseung said as all four look equally confused. “I want time with my maknae’s. Now go.” "that's not fair…” Jake pouted. “Too bad!” Niki laughed. “Noona likes us more…” Jungwon smirked as the four hesitated to leave but eventually did. Roza, Jungwon and Niki continued to laugh as they heard them talking outside. “Can't believe our own girlfriend just kicked us out of her room.” “You like us more right?” Niki questioned. “Oh yeah.” Roza said, the trio giggling amongst themselves.
Sooyoung : Roza and Sooyoung being the only girls in Enhypen meant they were super close, often telling each other any and every secret. That also meant they knew when the other was keeping something from them. Both girls had been sitting in silence, just enjoying each other's company. Sooyoung could tell something was off, Roza kept glancing at her.
“You wanna tell me something?” Sooyoung questioned. Roza, caught off guard, just stared at her. “What no…” “you do i can see it on your face.” Roza hesitated before deciding to talk. “You know how i told you about how i maybe liked Heeseung…” “how you love him?” Sooyoung teased. “shut up…” Roza laughed shyly before carrying on. “Well I like someone else.” “Wait, who? What about Heeseung!” “just let me explain…” Sooyoung's eyes watching as Roza fought off her nerves. “I like Sunghoon too… and Jake and Jay as well maybe…” Now it was Roza's turn to watch as Sooyoung's brain worked overtime trying to register what she just said.
“You like all four of them?” “yeah, basically…” “Well that wasn't what i expected. I was expecting something more shocking.” She laughed. “I'm dating all four of them..” Roza blurted, Sooyoung looked shocked. “What?” “I'm dating all four of them…” “at the same time?” Roza nodded her head. Silence took over the room. Roza felt nervous, Sooyoung’s face shocked and still. “You're not mad are you. I promise I was gonna tell you sooner, I just forgot. And I wasn't planning for this to happen, it just happened, I swear-” Sooyoung grabbed Roza’s hands stopping her rambling.
“Hold on, I'm not mad. I'm just surprised okay…” The reassuring smile on Sooyoung’s face immediately calmed Roza down. “Okay, I just got scared. I didn't know how you were gonna feel.” “I get it. But it makes sense now, that was the big news I was expecting from you.” “You always read me like a book, don't you?” “I have my hunches.” both girls lying down on Sooyoung's bed giggling. “So how long have you guys been dating?” “I would say close to a month I think?” Roza could see Sooyoung’s smirking creeping onto her face.
“What?” “have you kissed any of them yet?” Roza rolled her eyes, a blush spreading across her face. “Maybe…” “It was Heeseung wasn't it?” “how did you know?” Roza questioned. “let's just say Niki caught you two in the dressing room a couple of days ago..” Sooyoung laughed as Roza sat up shocked. “Niki can't keep his mouth shut can he!” She half shouted. “No, I don't think he can.” Sooyoung watched as Roza got up quickly leaving her room. “Where are you going?” “I need to tell Sunoo before Niki does.”
Sunoo : Sunoo was coming out of the bathroom after doing a face-mask when Roza came running towards him and pushed him back inside the bathroom. “Woah, what's happening?” He questioned as Roza locked that door. “I need to tell you something.” “Yeah, what is it?” “I'm dating Heeseung-” “what!” Sunoo shouted, cutting Roza off before she could finish. “Wait! I have more to say.” “You just told me you're dating Heeseung. What's more shocking than that?” Roza took a deep breath. “I'm dating Heeseung and Sunghoon-” “what-” She put her hand on Sunoo’s mouth.
“I'm dating, Heeseung and Sunghoon and Jay… and Jake…” Sunoo’s jaw dropped and he just stood in silence. “No way!” “yes.. Way?” a smile now on Sunoo’s face. “You're being serious?” “yes..” “Niki was right!” Roza's face froze. “Niki told you?” “yeah… at first i thought he was lying!” “I'm gonna kill him!” Sunoo grabbed Roza’s hands trying to hold her back as she opened the bathroom door.
“What are you doing?” Both Roza and Sunoo turned to see Heeseung staring at them. “What were you doing in the bathroom together?” “She just told me about your guys little arrangement” Sunoo giggled as Heeseung blushed, realizing what he was talking about. “Oh, yeah.. That.” “Niki told everyone before we could!” Roza said. “He did?” “Yes, he even told Sooyoung before I could.” She pouted. “I'll go talk to him.” Heeseung sighed, going to find the maknae.
