“you, stop . . moving,” sukuna prowls, the base of his chin sat on top of your thighs.

you were in your usual spot, waiting for him to return from whatever battle had him occupied for half the day. moments later, you’re now slouched back against sukuna’s throne with a very grumpy, pouty demon lying his head against the center of your lap. before you could even part your lips to ask him what happened this time, sukuna grumbles. “bad. very bad day, little one.���

humming, you strum a few feathery fingers toward the pink roots of his hair before softly digging a path through his tender scalp. “oh. well, wanna talk about it?”

“no,” he replies gruffly with an abrupt quickness, his pout growing the more he remembered about his day. however, as your fingers continued to comb through his silk tresses, sukuna buried his face between your thighs. “i need… to recharge.”

“most people would drink water or eat somet-”

“shut up.”

“…..”

slowly peeking from between the warmth of your glued legs, sukuna notices the pausing halt on your fingers that played with his hair and he scowls. oh, he’s pouting, and with a cute, annoyed grumble, he avoids your gaze.

“i told you to shut up, not . . to stop doing that. go on. hmph.”

rolling your eyes, you gave him a subtle head pat before hearing a loud sigh exit between your thighs. he’s usually never this clingy, and you remained quiet - wondering just what happened in his day for him to behave so … needy.

your fingers resumed its maze through his scalp tenderly, and his long lashes fluttered close - a soft content sigh dragging away from his thinly parted lips. in a way, you had to admit — this looked silly.

a huge, burly thousand-year-old curse of a demon positioned between your thighs. it was merely comical, and yet, sukuna could really care less.

the king of curses didn’t have a weakness - except you.

“mmgh-” he’d grunt, tilting his head to the left before he felt your thumb gingerly scratching behind his ear. for a second, you think you saw his nose twitching too. sukuna’s pink brows were still forcibly furrowed together, perfectly expressing his stubborn frustration before he let off another noise.

this time though - it’s different . .

it’s a subtle, cooing ‘rrrrr’ sound that’s deeply low. the entire sound alone from sukuna makes your thighs shake a bit and you look down at him with a perplexed look.

“ ‘kuna?” you murmured, the swirling circles of your finger stopping once again. a cunning grin gradually creased against your lips before you gasped. “did you just … purr?”

“i don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.”

“that noise you just made.”

sukuna rolls his eyes, his scratchy voice a bit muffled from how he nearly sank between the arc of your thighs. “pft. i was clearing my throat, obviously. you humans and your delusions-”

“nooo, i heard it,” you cheekily simpered, pinching his cheek. that earned a disgusted glower from him before you brought your fingers back toward behind his ear. “i scratched behind hereeee ‘n then . . you made that sound.”

the demon’s breath hitched once he felt the tip of your stubby thumb leisurely trail its way near behind his ear. instantaneously, his ear even twitched at your delicate touch and his eyes were just whining for more. for once, sukuna doesn’t have a witty remark and he’s just allowing you to toy your fingers against his balmy skin.

“stupid …. it wasn’t a purr. that’s insulting.”

“oh, my bad. what was it then?”

sukuna glares at you, and you return with a smug expression. damn.

sighing, sukuna’s shoulder slacken. “whatever. anyways,” he grumps, his chin sitting back onto your right leg. crimson eyes flicker up toward you before he pouts. “scratch behind my ear again. see what happens.”

“or what, you’ll purr again? ooh. scary.”

sukuna’s cheeks were so flushed - on the very cusps of shading into a bright hue of vermillion before he scoffs. “ha! do it. you wo- mmmmrr-”

cutting him off, you give him a good scratch behind his ear once more, and again—that sound comes out. a soothing, content purr from sukuna that cutely makes his whole body faintly rumble against your thighs.

it wasn’t just the purring, it was all of his changing body language that occurred too.

whenever your fingers would swiftly dash across the sensitive territory that was located behind his ear, sukuna turned into an entire different person. his eyelids would hang low, his nose would twitch, and his usual grumpy expression would slowly switch to a more… tame one.

it’s like your fingers had some sort of magic, and it irritated him but it also made him . . craving more of your touch. “there there,” you hummed, feeling him relax against your touch. your fingertips were always so gentle, dancing down the outer edge of his ear as the low, purring noise continued.

it only lasted for a few seconds but to sukuna, it felt like many, many hours..

the scratching had him nearly hypnotized - and he was already closing his eyes, forgetting all about his horrible day. you silently watched as the curse’s pink slit brows curled apart from its usual furrow, and you could almost see his pout turning into a tiny smile.

it’s a half-almost smile, and sukuna’s starting to feel himself eventually falling asleep.

“such a cat,” you teasingly mumbled, hearing his ragged breaths suddenly come to a mesmeric slow. sukuna deeply sighs, cool puffs of air from his nostrils falling against your thighs. you weren’t sure if he was fully asleep or not, so you gave him a soft poke.

nothing.

giggling, you laid back against his throne as he remained in his same spot—head laid on your thighs as he was kneeling before you. you don’t think you’ve ever seen sukuna so relaxed. he’s usually so angry - so full of hate and uncontrollable rage but now, he looks finally at peace.

at peace in his favorite spot - between your thighs.

in a soft lulling voice, you gave his head a small pat before leaning down to kiss his forehead. “i love you, ‘kuna. sleep well.”

“hng- i love …. you too, little one.” he’d groggily reply, pressing plush lips against the crevice of your thigh.

“never talk about this again, by the way. or els-”

you interrupt his tiny threat by scratching behind his ear one more time and sukuna purrs even louder than before. it’s more high-pitched this time, and he opens his eyes before a pink tint spreads across his face once he realized he purred again.

“d- damn it..”

250 Follower Event - Short-Cut Ending

Hey, so another project that I've had on the backburner for a while and I'd like to give it some sort of resolution. 😅

Back in February (wow time flies), I started an event to celebrate having 250 followers, which involved prompt lists and short stories. There were 14 items to pick from and I got through 10 of them before letting the event go cold. Here's the tag with all the filled prompts.

Here we are, 8 months later, and it's time to finish this off! Rather than writing stories, I did short lists for what each prompt would have entailed and where it would fit in the larger story.

And - surprise! - although the event was SFW stories, I did have an idea for a NSFW bonus, which I've included at the end. 😘

Buggy notices that you have a collection of things in their room. Sea shells, gemstones, geodes, little carved figures, etc.

He wants to gift you something, so he gets you a rock. Not a gem or a geode, not a crystal cluster, just a rock he found on the shore that he thought looked nice and wanted to give to you.

This would connect back to Portrait, which mentions gem and sea stones on the shelf in the room you two share.

You or Buggy gets sick and the other had to care for them. I thought about making it where everyone but you gets sick, so you run yourself ragged trying to give everyone the minimal amount of care (water, food, some fresh air).

As everyone is finally getting better, you get sick and wake up in Buggy's bed.

I think this would have crossed over with Sing, where one of them sings a little lullaby while the other is resting.

Dream 😴

Established relationship

You or Buggy would wake up after a bad dream and get comforted.

If it was you having a nightmare, Buggy would probably shake you awake.

If Buggy was having the bad dream, I think you'd be so startled and Buggy would wake up shortly after startling you.

I'm not sure which this would pair with - Maybe Heat (listed above) since they're sharing a bed, or Cat because it would be comforting to fall back asleep with your partner and your pet nearby.

Treasure 🎁

This woulda been the grand finale once all the other prompts were completed!

You and Buggy would be on an island, walking through a forest, crossing a shallow river, etc etc until you find the spot for treasure. Your treasure - you're going to bury a time capsule!

And in the capsule are trinkets and memories from the previous stories - a cat toy, drawn portraits, an empty snack bag, a dried flower, a rock, buttons that Buggy sewed on your clothes, a bottle… I don't think every story has something that would go in the time capsule (either I forgot about this plan while writing, or changed my mind and don't remember that lolll), but a good amount do.

Maybe this would end with a cutesy kiss. Mwah!

It's a stormy night. Rain, lightning, some thunder. The waves aren't huge, but enough to sway the ship back and forth.

You're holding out a hand to feel the water. The rocking from the ship is sending rain inside, wetting your feet.

Buggy steps out into the rain and invites you to join him. He's holding out a hand, which you reach out and grab.

You two dance in the rain, under the heavy clouds and sparks of electricity. Sometimes Buggy lifts you off the wooden floor and swings you around a little. You're both laughing, smiling, and having fun getting soaked.

When you finally step back into a covered area, there's something. An unspoken thing. Water is dripping from hair and clinging to eyelashes. Another crack of lightning. Then a kiss.

You and Buggy have sex right there, against a wall. It's a bit quick, but intimate. Wet enough to create some awkwardness, because clothes are clinging and don't give as easily.

Also, dad bod Buggy, but he's less nervous since you saw his tum once before and liked it.

I, uh, didn't think about how exactly this would end. I just wanted dancing in the rain and wet sex.

Let's say everyone finishes and Buggy offers to let you use his bathroom to freshen up and get warm. You step out after cleaning yourself up, and Buggy already has some dry clothes (his clothes) set out and says you can stay the night, if you want.

Modern Jekyll and Hyde x Reader

• Henry would be very ashamed of his vice. He’d constantly hide from you when he gets the urge to drink the drug, not wanting you to notice his struggles. He’d need constant reassurance that he’s doing good and that he’s not a bad person, even if it’s not exactly true.

• Hyde is definitely a very selfish person, he’s probably super bitchy in an every day setting.

• Jekyll would never even think about looking at another person, never mind cheating on you. Hyde on the other hand… he would probably go straight for some random prostitute then throw himself back like, “Wait, would Y/N kill me for this?”

• I’m sorry but Hyde is a bit of a gooner 🙁🙁 I don’t suggest checking his search history…

• Lots of cute gifts like flowers, jewellery, perfume/cologne, or just anything you like! Yes, even Hyde would do this for you. He would probablyyyy just put a lot less effort and money into these gifts… and he would also probably forget the things that you like very often…

• Hyde would actually probably bring back some strange trinkets he finds. Like bones, dirty bits of broken machinery, teeth, broken jewellery parts, feathers, stuff like that. It probably wouldn’t be much of a gift for you but a little collection for the both of you to enjoy.

• Jekyll is so respectful of you as a person and just everything about you. He respects your personal space, your boundaries, your emotions, your values.

• Jekyll can be a bit oblivious sometimes. Any kind of flirting or sarcasm and it gone straight over his head. He’ll only understand it later when Hyde has taken over 😕

• Definitely both dog people but I’m sure they wouldn’t mind any other pet that you suggested. I think Hyde’s favourites would be snakes, rats, spiders, or any other kind of exotic pet. Jekyll would be open to anything within reason. But his fav would probably be cats or birds or anything interesting that you could sit and watch for hours.

• Jekyll likes the warmth and gets cold very easy. Hyde likes the cold and gets hot very easy. Expect to have a shit ton of blankets during winter and basically one sheet during summer.

• Hyde will do everything in his power to fluster you but sometimes it just makes him like silly lol

• You will probably find Hyde during some interesting things around the house. You can decide for yourself what that means. His response to you questioning him would be, “What? It’s our house. If someone looks in then that’s their problem 🙄”

• Jekyll will search up many cute date ideas for you two to go on

• Jekyll is actually a little bit of a famous doctor. Or at least famous in his field. Sometimes the two of you will get stopped in the street and have someone tell him, “Oh my gosh I’m a big fan of your work!!”

• Watching the actual transition between Jekyll and Hyde can be a bit disturbing so they will leave the room just for your convenience.

• Hyde likes to complain A LOT so expect to take care of him when he’s hurting or sick 🤒

• Hyde doesn’t work but he’s not gonna stop you from working. Jekyll makes plenty of money and you have found ways so that it’s guaranteed Hyde will never be a permanent being.

• Henry keeps himself very well groomed and keeps up with his hygiene perfectly. Edward doesn’t cut his nails, lets his hair grow freely, forgets he needs to wash his hair, needs to be reminded to brush his teeth, etc. Although when it comes to you, he will remind you to take your medication or take care of yourself because he does actually care about you (he’s just a bit mean about it lol).

• When I say Hyde doesn’t have a job, I don’t mean he’s a basement dwelling bum. He sleeps a lot but he does a lot around the house. He’ll help you with chores or keep gardening in check or he’ll fix stuff around the house that needs fixing. Sometimes you wish they were split in two so you could have both of them helping you out lol.

• Many parties and dinners with their friends. I imagine that in modern times, Jekyll wouldn’t have a butler or maids but he would still have a friend named Mr Poole lol.

Sam's sitting on the bed with his head in his hands, and Lucifer is talking to him, and he just never stops talking, and he can't take it anymore. He's so tired. He gets up slowly, his bones creaking, and turns away from Lucifer. He doesn't want to see him anymore. He only makes it a few steps before he sits down on the bed again, facing the window.

He lifts his head up, hoping to catch the sun's warmth on his face, when he realises abruptly that he's crying. He doesn't know when he started, but now that he realises, he can't stop. His shoulders shake with the force of his tears, and Lucifer has stopped talking. Has stopped singing, stopped throwing fireworks.

Sam hears a shuffle, and tentative steps behind him before the sound of fabric shifting and mattress springs creaking fill his ears. Lucifer sits down beside him, and the look on his face is so terrible, purely because of the sorrow evident there.

Lucifer places a hand around his shoulders, and Sam leans into it, despite everything. He almost hates himself for it, but he remembers suddenly, briefly, a flash of the Morningstar's wings around his shoulder, protecting him from the heat and fire of the Cage.

"Sam," Lucifer says, and the quiet tone of his voice makes Sam break out in sobs all over again. "Sam, I'm so sorry."

Sam reaches out, and grasps at Lucifer's shirt, curling himself into the soft green fabric. He should be worried how solid his hallucination feels but he's not thinking about that now. All he can do is cry, and Lucifer curls his arms tightly around him.

"Sam, I'm sorry I ever did this to you," Lucifer whispers into Sam's hair, gently stroking his back.

I haven't been this sick in at least a year, but honestly, I lived completely alone in 2023 and rarely left the house. I also haven't had a respiratory infection since.......I dunno...... 2017? At a guess?

Oh no wait, I had a respiratory infection the last time I was in Oregon, in early 2020. And then there was covid, but obviously that was different.

I'm learning I tend to get them when I live in dirty environments and......man, if ten cats isn't a dirty environment.... Two cats is fine. I can keep up with two cats. When I was back here in 2019, I didn't get a respiratory infection because the friend I was staying with enjoys cleaning. I didn't get respiratory infections in NM because it never got cold enough to trigger my asthma, and like I said, my home was never dirty enough to trigger my asthma.

For me, it's really the constant triggering of my asthma that exposes me to infections.

If my new doctor had just listened to me when I told him I needed a maintenance medication....... Like, damn dude. It's my asthma. I've lived in Wisconsin before. I shouldn't need to bring you like the scientific journal on myself for you to just hear what I'm saying.

Anyway, the sooner I get this cleared up, the better. So maybe he'll get a hint when he sees in my chart that I've been to UC to be nebulized.

he’s definitely got that dawg in him (the autism). good for him.

he has a large tattoo on his back that looks like an exact copy of the vhenadahl. despite leaving the alienage, he carries a piece of it with him everywhere he goes. no amount of darkspawn blood will be able to wash away his heritage.

he learned to care for his hair from his mother, but it’s a senior warden who taught him to style it. he almost shaved his head, once, but didn’t want to go through the trouble of growing his hair back, so he refrained. 

🐶 DOG FACE — does your oc have any pets?

it’s a little hard to keep a pet when your whole life is about fighting darkspawn and whatnot. still, he can often be found caring for the animals roaming around skyhold, ranging from the inquisitor’s mounts to the stray cats that find refuge in the barn. they remind him of the ones that wandered the streets of the alienage when he was a child. 

🍔 HAMBURGER — is your oc good at cooking? are they good at baking? which one do they prefer?

life on the road is a tough one made only tougher by a lack of culinary expertise. luckily, constantine was taught to cook by his mother as a child, and his skills have only gotten better with time. whereas he’s an excellent cook, he cannot be trusted to bake anything, lest one wants their loaf of bread to look like a crepe. he definitely prefers cooking over baking, as his cooking can at least be safely consumed.

do grey wardens get sick? constantine wouldn’t be able to tell, as he hasn’t been sick since undergoing the joining. he wasn’t exactly a sickly kid in the alienage, but he definitely wasn’t the healthiest child of the bunch, and he was often under the weather, struck with a sickness or the other. that never stopped him from helping as much as he could, forever the little helper.

yall rly don't understand what bartender au is doing to me bc i was thinking about that one post i made about bucky and gale teaming up to wrangle curt and like. it's their first time really doing that *together*, gale's been learning the ropes and coming out of his shell and all ... so afterwards theyre all cuddling, curt in the middle with his body half on top of gale (bc his butt is still sore, so he cant lie on his back for a bit), and bucky on his side with one arm thrown over curt's waist and hand on gale's stomach thats rising and falling steadily under his palm. and curt checks in on gale, asking how he feels, if he enjoyed it, if it felt right 🤒 and gale is so relaxed and comfortable and ... happy??? he hasn't been this happy in so long, there's nowhere else he'd rather be, no one else he'd rather be with than curt and bucky to his right 🤒 he tells curt this. that he's happy. and they all exchange kisses and curt sighs like a happy cat and ahhhH

Hey, An! Thank you for asking about my beloved wife!

To be honest, I really struggled with the first question. What difference would there be between the way someone thinks about you when you're not around or when you're with them? In the end I came up with possibly alternative answer that is close to the theme.

Thoughts 💭 – What do you think your f/o thinks about you when you're not around?

Probably "I sure hope she's not doing anything illegal right now."

But actually, Portia doesn't think that much about Katerina while they are separated. Not because she doesn't miss her company, but mostly because Portia is always super busy, either with her work at the Palace or personal projects/hobbies.

However... Portia has many questions that she isn't sure how to ask, and if it's even possible to get the answers to them, so she keeps mulling them over in her head. If there’s a quality that both Portia and Katerina share, it’s their desire to know things. And Portia wishes she could learn more about Katerina, because this magician still remains a mystery. Even for Portia, who is her closest friend and a lover. To be honest, she's frustrated by the fact that Katerina has amnesia (or at least what they think is an amnesia), in a sense that it prevents Portia from getting information about Katerina’s past and all the events that made her the way she is now.

Lately, Portia has been secretly conducting her own investigation, searching through Palace archives, asking her fellow servants that could still remember Katerina from her past as a court magician... She even went down to the Red Market in search of information, knowing that Katerina must have been involved with it in her past. There's also some information Portia got from questioning Asra and Lucio, but it also wasn't much as Katerina mostly kept her business secret even from them.

Well, it seems like some of Portia's questions might get answered when Cornelius arrives to Vesuvia…

Band-aid 🩹 – If there was one thing about your f/o that you'd want people to understand, what would it be?

Haaa... Portia overall is severely underappreciated by the fandom that doesn't bother to dive deeper into her character...

But if there's one point I'd like to drive across the most it is this: Portia is more than just uwu wholesome cottagecore lesbian (well, bisexual, but you get what I'm saying). Too much content with Portia is about domestic fluff and not enough about crazy adventures and sailing the seas. If you played her route then you would know that, while Portia is great at creating cozy and homely atmosphere, she’s not a domestic person, at least not by choice. She's highly curious, opportunistic and energetic, she always wanted more out of her life. Portia always dreamed of adventures, she wanted to become a pirate captain just like her adoptive grandma! She definitely won't be satisfied staying at home.

Overall, I'd say that Portia is kind of supposed to be this girl-next-door type of character, but it's twisted in a way that she loathes just being a girl-next-door. She contradicts her own advertising.

Sick 🤒 – Your f/o is sick in bed, what do you do?

Well, fuck. If Portia of all people is stuck in bed, you know that it’s bad. Usually it's almost impossible to convince her to rest, as Portia will insists that she’s fine for as long as she can and force herself to go through her usual duties despite feeling sick. It’s entirely possible that Katerina had to personally tackle her and drag her to bed. Then Katerina will put Pepi on top of her for a good measure, because Portia won't dare to get up while the cat is sleeping on her. But further than that…

Okay, first of all, she will call Julian. Then she will kick Julian out, because he was fretting over Portia too much and just proved to be a nuisance (Julian is a great doctor, but he becomes a nervous wreck when it concerns people he's close to, including his little sister). Instead Katerina will send him to Mazelinka – this old woman is smart and is great at green magic, she must have some remedy.

Overall, Katerina will follow all the instructions given to her by Mazelinka and Julian (when he calms down). She's not the best at taking care of people and healing magic never came easy to her, but she'll try her best. After all Portia always takes care of her when she's the one who gets sick.
