You know. Dead Space but particularly Isaac Clarke becomes a much more tragic character when you realize with the span of like 6 months time Isaac has a loving girlfriend whom he convinces to serve aboard a favorite spaceship of his, has his father who has been absent for basically the entirety of his life finally decide to retire and come back to Earth. Plus his mother, who has gone through multiple psychotic episodes of falling head first into a religious cult and spending all of hers and Isaac's money trying to gain acclaim in said religious cult.

Right when Isaac thinks his life is on an upswing he loses everything. His mother has another mental breakdown and kills Isaac's father and then herself. The dream ship Isaac convinced Nicole to serve aboard ends up getting co-opted by the same religious cult that drove Isaac's mom mad and unleashed an actual apocalypse on board. Isaac blames his girlfriend for the death of his parents (in a heat of the moment thing frankly) Isaac watches the last transmission sent from Nicole and watches as she kills herself to avoid being turned into an infected monster.

He then, as what I can only assume as an extreme trauma response, forcibly forgets watching his girlfriend end her own life and goes through actual turbo ultra extreme radical mega hell aboard a necromorph infected spaceship the size of a city and sees horrors truly biblical in proportion, and becomes an unwitting victim to the effects of an alien artifact created by an actual eldritch abomination as a means of reproduction and it's means of controlling and assimilating a whole planet and becomes imbued with it's essence. Driving him actually insane and making him a rambling incoherent mess drifting off into deep space.

Isaac then gets discovered and forcefully taken hostage by the government and for three years is given memory suppressant drugs and is forced to rebuild the same eldritch death tool over again. And when Isaac finally regains consciousness it's right in the middle of ANOTHER necromorph infection apocalypse event and Isaac must once again trek through actual real life turbo mega hell and has to save not only himself but other people while constantly being taunted and harassed by the eldritch marker taking the form of his ex Girlfriend and using literally every trick in the toxic lover handbook to ensure Isaac's second outing in the extremely bad place has just enough self-hatred and depression spice.

Oh and while this took place well over three years, Isaac was only lucid for about a little over 6 months of that so I'm not surprised this man is literally the most explicit example of damaged goods in all of fiction. And I love Isaac so much because of it

Oh do I have headcanons for this fucking babygirl? You bet your grandmommys ovaries I have headcanons for the pink twink!

He is an Anime fan 100%. Specifically action themed ones like Dragon Ball, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh, Evangelion, Bleach, Jojo ect. He also collects figures & cards based on said animes.

He's a huge nerd in general & already confirmed to like D&D, fantasy & sci-fi in general.

He has a very great relationship with his mother just like his 2003 counterpart & was usually the one that kept him in line & his comforter when he was down.

He's very proud of his mustache & when it first started growing when he hit puberty he was instantly confident in his manliness.

He is definitely the type that wants to prove he's manly & not wimpy or weak. Tho he never resorts to sexism or toxic masculinity.

He tends to talk to his MOUSERS & considers them pets & friends.

Like the turtles, he enjoys pizza but not as much. He also enjoys the side dishes with it like chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, & even sweets like Hershey pies or anything chocolate.

He does actually have a bit of a sweet tooth, although it ampted to 100 after the mutation & still stayed even after being human again.

While he's mostly a clean person, he can honestly be a messy person when he's buried in his work, having tech/tools & even food lying around.

After his mutation he has a slight connection with flies & can train them. Even after being de-mutated.

A large part of him was happy to be human again but because of his hatred of the Turtles (and just being petty) he decided to react the way he did.

He's rarely experienced enough kindness in his life, so whenever people did get his name right or give him genuine respect he latches onto them

Stockman Industries was his attempt at making a business. Most likely starting as a computer or tech technician but clearly wants to do something bigger like his 2003 & IDW counterparts.

He always smells good because of the smell-goods he puts in his hair & person, granted it disappeared after a while after his mutation.

While not his favorite thing, he enjoys his fair share of sports like racing.

He's bisexual but he's never openly came out to anybody due to not having anybody TO come out to.

His former boss at TCRI was also one of the many people that never remembered his name.

He's the type to stay up all night & realize it too late (hearing the birds)

Thinking about how the Nameless Bard both indirectly and single-handedly, along with his fellow rebels, took down Decarabian with the rulers’ death giving Nameless Bard the credit for three kinds of killing: deicide, regicide, and tyrannicide.

For your information, deicide is the killing (or the killer) of a god, divine being, or deity. Regicide is the killing of a ruler, where on the other hand tyrannicide is the killing of a tyrant (an unjust and oppressive ruler).

Like Decarabian was ALL three qualifications to be falling into those category of killings, he was a god, ruler, AND tyrant.

While Nameless Bard was the lad who straight up came and then killed him indirectly, thus making the bard the one who had now been slapped with all three crimes, simultaneously making him responsible for the god’s downfall minutes before the bard died.

Like girly is the epitome of “I am single-handedly responsible for committing three crimes in a row minutes before I died but that still technically makes me responsible for my former rulers’ death even when I’m dead.”

I feel like I’m trying to reinvent the wheel here because I’m trying to make a new version of Billy’s TCC (The Children’s Crusade) costume because it’s just that good of a costume that really lends a element of androgyny I kinda want my AU Billy to have (gender is soup and we’re all here for fun and vibes) plus the fact he is a legacy character for a female character I kinda wanna lean into that (can’t do the crown anymore though THANKS MCU/neg *sobs*)
