One of my favorite bucktommy things is how they both listen to each other so intently. It’s not just attraction, it’s not just giddy infatuation. They want to know each other, they want to listen to each others stories, they take each other seriously and are giving each other focused attention. And god, not everybody gets that, you know? Especially with ADHD like Buck, so often people tune you out or act like they’re listening when they’re not. Sometimes they outright tell you they don’t pay attention to the things you say. Not Tommy. Not Buck. They’re tuned to each other’s frequency and it’s their favorite station.

I just picture all those private moments, just them, on the couch during a commercial break, in the car on a long drive, sitting at a scenic outlook on a hike, over dinner, over drinks, walking on the beach, in bed under the safety of the sheets, just... Talking. Listening. Learning each other.

Awww, you're so right. I think one of my fav examples of this is the tiny moment we see with Buck in the season finale when Tommy starts talking about his dad and Gerrard and Buck is immediately all ears. You can see on his face how quickly he tunes in. And Tommy is always listening and checking in and also not questioning what Buck is saying (re being ready, for example). I wanna watch every moment of them learning more about each other and falling in love 🥺
