Secondly, Bianca and Angel look sO CUTE?!?! I’m so excited to learn more about them. They look like such good parents 🥺!! Imagining the play dates with their kids and the Bardots’ 🥹

Absolutely adore Bianca and Drew being girlbosses while their hubbies cheer them on and cook for them. Angel 🤝 Ian cooking breakfast in sweatpants and an apron with no shirts on my beloveds 🫣🤤

Thirdly, Erik and Sterling interacting may have given me incurable brain rot so… unsure whether to thank you or curse you for that one (/j, I wouldn’t curse you 🫶). The fact they’re a music major and a music professor at a small private school (using Sterling’s setting~) and therefore could not avoid each other for long is so fucking fun 😈

The following is just Erik and Sterling as Professor and Student with no other dynamics at play, but I think their competition over a Darling would be legendary, brutal, even Shakespearean (can’t imagine they’re good at sharing 💀). They would also make interesting Darlings for each other— would Sterling still be as rude to Erik as he would to a student Darling, or would Erik’s control over Sterling’s grade keep him in line a little? 🤔

Erik feels a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment at being hired by such a prestigious university. They deserve it, after all, having spent so many years perfecting their skills and proving their worth as an instructor.

It’s not long before Erik gets a feel for the interpersonal politics at play at the college, and who’s who. There’s whispers among the faculty about Sterling, of course— brilliant but ruthless, rumors of sabotage— and Erik can’t help the simmering hatred that begins to build for a student they haven’t even met yet.

They’ve been on the receiving end of such underhanded tactics during the course of their academic and professional careers, and lost a scholarship opportunity or promotion for it. The fact that Sterling has near-perfect immunity over it nearly makes Erik break out in hives. (To be clear Erik is a total hypocrite here— they’ve also engaged in some sabotage in their time. Just doing mental gymnastics to justify it to themself 😭)

They take it upon themself to grade Sterling a little extra harshly. If Sterling confronts them about it, Erik merely justifies it by expressing that higher talent requires higher expectations. Sterling’s the best, after all— doesn’t he want to be treated like it?

And loathe as Erik is to admit it, Sterling is quite talented and hardworking. Over time, he may even come to respect, and even like, Sterling despite the previous record of sabotaging other students.

I like to think Philippe de Clermont liked to welcome all of his children back home with a sword fight as he did with Matthew in season 2.

Like Baldwin got off his horse one day and Philippe straight up tackled him every time. Baldwin always knew he was coming.

Godfrey was confused as hell every time. Never got used to it.

Hugh stayed away because he just wanted to give his dad a hug and a nice poem he wrote.

He didn't do it to his daughters because Frejya and Stasia were his precious girls and Verin stabbed him once and he decided not to do that again.

Definitely did it to his grandkids. Gallowglass found it to be a lot of fun.

Marcus was confused when Philippe shot at him from one of the towers and yelled, "Welcome home, my boy!"

The way Death was introduced in the Sandman was so good because she's so kind and cheery, and wants to cheer Dream up. You don't even know which of his siblings she is until they meet Henry and I felt as if I had been punched in the gut because she is not how you expect Death to be.

Do you think Russ/kd are back together or still beefing a little?

And who are your otps ?

I think irl their beef isn't as big as the media likes to portray it, russ just gets very competitive on the court and things happen, but overall they're OK with each other!

For my headcanons, I like to write them kinda tense with each other or in that early spot where their arguing was at its highest for extra ✨ pizazz ✨. Or where everything is OK and russ moved on because he's a king LMFAO

For my Otps, I'm pretty much ok with everything really! I lean more toward the slightly more underrated ships rather than the big ones, tbh! And I'm also a BIG fan of platonic best friends! Like bradley beal and russ! I like to think russ is like the cool wine aunt and beal is the fun uncle of their group who care for their team but also roasts them when necessary. And I really like the idea of Russ being a strong single king who got over KD and now he is free to post thirst pics for all to water over LMAO

BUT some of my most liked otps are:

💙 Pg/kawhi (I really like kawhi (even tho originally I was on the fence about him because of the whole demar trade and then he left but ITS ALL GOOD NOW I've created the SOLUTION narrative in my head) because he's just very simple yet complex? And their personalities kinda clash and I'm a sucker for opposites attracting because they managed to find similarities or things that they love in each other's differing personalities that others kinda hate)
