He's the loving type and there's nothing you can do to convince me otherwise. Despite being a demon, he'll make sure you're his queen and he's only ever doing what you ask of him. Of course, due to his personality, he'd absolutely love to tease you, but it's more of a love language for him.

Undertaker

His way of showing affection is far more seductive; teasing you often with heart-fluttering jokes and close proximity. He knows the best ways to edge you on and it's really what he wants, however when you do the same he'd tend to get more intimate (in a fluffy way).

Vincent

This man knows he's attractive and what's the least he can do than shower his S/O with gifts and love. He knows his partner's interests and likes, so it's quite simple to pick out good and high quality gifts, and although it isn't common, he doesn't mind physical affection such as hugs or kisses.

Ciel isn't the best at expressing his emotions and because of it, it often causes him to come off as cold to his S/O.. however, he is an easily flustered boy, who will definitely become flushed in blush if his partner is just one step too close. Alois

He's been through a lot, so he doesn't enjoy the company of someone more than that of his S/O. Now, Alois is a great lover, fight the wall; but he's also quite clingy, and that is mainly because of his fear to lose yet another important person to him, so he'd often have nightmares where he'd need to cuddle up in between your arms.

There's no need to say, they'd shower you with complements and absolutely die when you do the same. Their affection has no limit and they're willing to sacrifice absolutely anything for you, and of course, they love it when you show the same level of care and sincerity for them.

I've never seen anyone else address this, so I'm finally doing so. The ending of season 2 has always bothered me. Not because of Ciel's transformation, or Sebastian being forever in his servitude (ordinarily that would be the ideal ending, preferable to Ciel's death and Sebastian simply moving on,) but because of Ciel's demeanor and attitude. It feels extremely out of character for me.

In the final episode Ciel is very obviously smug about "outsmarting" Sebastian, silently lording his perceived victory over him. However, that wasn't Ciel's victory, or his plan. That was all Alois and Hannah. I have always felt that in actuality, Ciel would be livid. He is most likely the only human Sebastian's ever encountered who fully accepted his fate, the terms of the contract, and never tried to escape or worm his way out of it at the last moment. Remember, in the season one finale, Ciel actually seemed to be at peace for the first time we've ever seen him. He was content with Sebastian taking his soul. And he would have done so with no resistance on Ciel's part, had Claude not intervened.

Ciel had once had a very clear vision of his future, of what he had planned, agreed to. I think he would he angry, panicked at having the proverbial rug pulled out from under him. He did not consent to being granted immortality (ordinarily, I think Ciel would find the very concept of immortality rather dreadful, a prison. He would not find it remotely worth it unless he had someone or something that made it worth living. Forever is an incomprehensibly long time.) He had made peace with his fate, dying an early death, and I believe part of him would have even found comfort in it. Once his revenge was realized, as far as he knew Ciel would have nothing to live for. He never would have been content in a one-sided farce of a marriage with Lizzy, playing domestic, living a dull, grey life and performing the role, the duties expected of him. And as far as I'm concerned, Ciel is completely unaware of the depth of Sebastian's feelings towards him. Ciel isn't even trusting of other humans, with good reason. He would find it unbelievably foolish and naive to fully trust a demon. Ironically, Sebastian is the one whom he both trusts the most and the least. Ciel, logically, wouldn't even think one like Sebastian to be capable of deeper feelings, of truly caring for another, let alone love.

As we know, Ciel is a strategist. His current life, every action, is centered around thorough planning. He is not prone to whimsy and spontaneity (although he can act spontaneously when the situation calls for it.) He finds comfort and familiarity, grounding in having a plan, being several steps ahead of those around him. Having a plan for his life's path, knowing where the journey would end, would have been vital to his sense of stability. He would absolutely not appreciate having someone interfere the way Hannah did, altering the course of his life irreversibly.

I also believe Ciel would be indignant on Sebastian's behalf. Ciel would *want* to reward Sebastian for his loyalty, for being his sole confidant, for saving him and affording him a second chance to pursue his revenge, being there when God had abandoned him, Sebastian going above and beyond the call of duty for *him.* He truly would honour his word, at least in that. He would be angry that Sebastian was stripped of what he had rightfully earned. Demon or no, Sebastian is the only one who has never, can never betray him, whom can know his secrets, the depths of his depravity.

So, for these reasons, the ending has always rubbed me the wrong way. The only way I can retcon it in my mind in a way that would make any sort of sense is if Ciel is in fact angry and upset, afraid of a now unknown, murky future - yet due to his pride and his fear of vulnerability, of being perceived as weak, he would display a false sense of bravado, of security, acting like he had played a hand in his fate and was in control of the situation.

I'm interested in others' thoughts on this, if anyone agrees.

He first saw you in town. He was with Sebastian to take some things and investigate a new case given by the queen. But the care was totally forgotten when he saw you. You were the most beautiful person he has ever seen. He knew that you are from an aristocratic family from your clothes and your maid but didn't know which one.

So he puts Sebastian to do some research on you and he learns that you were Elisabeth's cousin. He couldn't believe it. Even more when he first talked to you at Elisabeth's birthday party. You were just so calm and welcoming that he felt safe in your presence. Your quiet but clear voice made him feel like he could tell you everything and you wouldn't judge him.

And because of that he broke the engagement with Lizzy and started to court you. Elizabeth's mother was a bit mad but couldn't stop Ciel because he loves him as her own son and he deserves to have happy memories.

So you two start to date after some time whit a new engagement made between Ciel's family and your's. He started to call you often at his mansion and talk to you. He could've sworn that you were an angel from heaven when you first comforted him after he had a nightmare and you stayed at his mansion overnight. You were so gentle with him like he was made of glass and would break at the slightest touch. It was such a different feeling that he felt he doesn't deserve it.

All this time he thought that the only thing that counts is to revenge his family and to reestablish his family name but now he starts to doubt it. The only thing that he can think of is that he doesn't want to lose you ever like he lost everyone else. He will protect you whit his life and will make sure that you are always comfortable.

God forgive anyone that hurts or embarrasses you because Sebastian will take care of him.

Ciel would often come to you to talk about what is bothering him and would be grateful for who you are that he sends you different dresses and jewelry that he knows will look good on you.

He saw you in a museum in the art section. He couldn't believe how much you looked alike whit a portrait of a very beautiful women that lived over 200 years ago. He couldn't take his eyes of you so he made a move. He came to you and introduced himself in the hope that you will see him as fascinating as he sees you. And you did. You introduced yourself and engaged in a conversation whit Alois.

Your voice and your looks made him not want to leave you alone at all. He feelt like he is talking to an angel who came to safe him. He learned that you are the grand grand granddaughter of the woman in the painting and that she was one of the most beautiful women that lived in that time and that you are happy that you could resemble her.

He started to court you and made the engagement whit your parents. He asks Hannah some things that you would like and if you don't he will punish her severely.

He will eventually tell you everything about his past and about Claude. He feels so safe with you that he couldn't bring himself to hide it. And the moment when you just tell him that it doesn't matter, it doesn't define him he swore he could die right then and there as a happy boy.

He would tell Claude to protect you and to kill anyone who comes too close to you whit bad intentions.

He would be very clingy. He doesn't like being away from you. He feels like you are his lifeline and can't leave you.

Do you remember the time when Alois was on his knees in front of Claude to prevent him of leaving? He would do that when you wanted to go have some tea time whit another girl. (What can I say he has abandonament issues.)

✥ Sebastian loves you so much, you're so very kind even to creatures like him, upon learning of your past, where your fiance rejected you because you would eat more the other girls, because of your unusual hair, because of your strength, it was the first time he had ever felt his blood boil so much.

✥ He is proud of you that you stood back on your feet and how you fight demons, he learns it takes immense power to not only be a hashira but also create a poison strong and lethal enough to kill them, that's impressible!

✥ Sebastian when he first made food for you, he made enough to fill you by looking at your figure, you were quite thin, but you finished all the food in only aa few minutes and were still hungry, that's when he learnt about you humongous appetite of that compared to three sumos. He is impressed, a tad bit scared because is this normal?? Also ready to make good food for you!!

✥ Sebastian often sits there while you work as doctor at the butterfly mansion with your younger sisters and the three Butterfly girls, he also learnt about Tamayo, you both would help each other make poisons and sometimes Sebastian would also learnt to make some and help you with fighting demons.

✥ Of-course he isn't able to kill them as they only regenerate, he learns how the demons at your place only die of sunlight, if Muzan gets mad and only if they get mutilated by a demon slayer's sword, he obviously knows how to use a katana and so sometimes he kills little demons here and there for fun.

✥ Sanemi, Obanai and others obviously didn't take well to you dating a demon and they thought he was trying to date to get info for Muzan and so tried to kill him by bringing him in the sunlight, and since Sebastian was only standing there all confused everyone was shocked, until you explained he was a different type of demons and told them how they don't like to eat humans that way, they understood him though still a bit doubtful.

✥ He saw you kill the spider girl, he did find it hot when you threatened to gouge out her eyes or slash her stomach and organs, he finally saw you using your insect breathing for the first time, he finds it very beautiful! He also learns your breathing style by the way, neither you nor him understand how and why because first, he's a demon and second he isn't going to die in the way demons under Muzan die.?????

✥ Oh speaking of Muzan, he found Sebastian doing things and learnt he was also a demon and asked Sebastian to help him find the blue spider lily because he thought Sebastian was also using his blood and when Sebastian was attacked by him and threatened to take his blood and nothing happened, that is when Muzan realized he was fucked, Muzan was safe tho, because Sebastian was distracted by you....

✥ Sebastian is very much familiar with the fact that you have incredible physical strength because once you were returning from a two week mission when Sebastian welcomed you and in excitement and happiness you hugged him so tightly and you didn't realise you picked him up from the floor upto two feet in the air and it wasn't until Sebastian started speaking that you realized how strong you are and put him down apologizing a bit...

✥ Ciel also gets highly jealous when you start complimenting people because you find them cute or beautiful or hot, but it's fine cause you always come back to him and shower him in the compliments for than anyone else and you can also sense he's mad...

Grell: Before she was a reaper she was def into drag races, after becoming a reaper she was unfortunately too busy to do drag anymore but she still watches them on the TV after work.

Sebastian: he is known for his refined taste in….. everything really but one of his many guilty pleasures is classic rock music.

Ciel: Loves anything chocolate covered (food wise, don’t be weird) chocolate strawberries, marshmallows, yogurt bites, etc.

The Undertaker: Is the biggest horror movie fan (and comedy of course) his favorites are probably house of wax, house of a 1000 corpses, human centipede.

Claude: he crochets like a lot, sometimes makes alois stuff but only if he asks/demands.

Elizabeth: doesn’t know how to cook very well but surprisingly is able to bake really well, cookies, cakes, brownies. She learned for ciel.

Alois: trys out for every play in his town (cry’s when he don’t get a call back) he loves to act and his fav play is Romeo and Juliet and into the woods.

Black Butler Rant: Alois Trancy, hate, Mental illness, and Gender roles? Spoilers for season two of the show

IM NOT HATING ON ANY OF THE CHARCTHERS

Ive done a rant on Alois b4 but idc

Alois trancy seems to be hated for various reasons, i’ve heard fans talk about what an awful character he is. He’s a whore, he’s selfish, abusive, evil ect. The curious thing is all the Black Butler Characters are immoral, only about two or three aren’t. And Alois isn’t the cruelst, or most hard hearted of any of the characters shown on Black Butler. Madam Red is Jack the Ripper, The Count Druit selling people on the black market, and Agni was a criminal who slaughtered people just becuse he had class issues. Now maybe these characters aren’t that popular, but i know of three very amoral characters who are loved by the fans who can’t stand Alois.

My one and only Love, Grell is a comedic phycopath, who murdered Madam Red, her lover, for refuseing to kill Ciel. But humor aside lets take a look at her personality, She is completly selfish, vain and takes stalking and ignoreing consent to a whole new level. Will sleep with anything that moves demon dogs included, Remember she was ready to help Ciel, becuse he promised to let her do what she wanted to Sebastian. The guy who hates and is repulsed by her. She even says dispite her feelings for Sebastion she’d hack him up and is completly serious when she says it. Grell has never showed remorse regret or compassion for anyone or anything, she has no redeeming qualities, but people still love her (including me)

2) Sebastian- Lets ignore how hot he is, although fan girls and gays do realize he’s a mutilated crow right? Another Amoral character! he is a demon who is preying on a child, seasoning his soul so he can simply have a good meal. Sebastian smirks at Ciel’s suffering and pain constantly. Manipulates and lies when it suits him and enjoys squishing humans who have no chance aginst him like bugs. In season two he violated Ciel’s trust lied to him, and once Ciel was a demon and had no soul Sebastion killed him. Proving the only warm feelings Sebastian has are toward kitties.

Lastly Ciel himself! he’s saddistic, cold, cruel and willing to sacrifice whats left of his family and freinds for revenge to avenge his pride. He has already killed two people and ordered the deaths of many more. Shows no remorse and will let his Demon be abused to suit his purposes or will pimp him out.

All these characters have personality traits Alois has been accused of or warped into by fanfiction. He does in fact share these same traits with other characters so why are they loved for them, while he’s hated? I think it has to do with gender roles and the idea of people being unable to accept, what they do not percieve as normal behavior. People hate what they don’t understand.

It all starts with media, years of watching boys and men in fiction shug off every trauma and abuse, and remain unaffected by it has made viewers forget. In real life Boys who go through half the things they go through in movies, books, and television would end up completly messed up.

Media and society stresses this idea of manly strength boys, don’t get hurt, boys don’t cry! boys can take anything! Any boy who can’t is weak.

Hence, complete contempt for Alois Trancy’s character, who gets hysterical when the lights go off and cries a lot and gets scared.

He’s very emotional, needy and immature in contrast the Ciel, who’s cold detachment, apparent machurity and calm disposition reflects the manly ideal. Ciel goes around ordering Sebastion to kill people and in fiction male characters are judged by their willingness to weild power.

Alois has power but would rather have Claude as an freind then a slave. Plus Alois likes blue bells, wears frilly nightgowns, dresses up as a girl and likes soft girly colors like pink and purple and his disreguard for gender roles and implied sexuality is bound to make anyone who’s homophobic or insercure uncomfortable. He dosen’t care about dignity, money or power like Ciel, he instead wants comfort, safety and love.

Alois is mentally ill so his behaviors and mood swings scare people, and make them feel uncomfortable, much like how people react when confronted with real mental illness. Its easier to judge then to understand.

When people see someone like Alois they feel resentful and feel the need to put them in their place.

They scream "Stop acting like that!” But thats why I love Alois. Throughout the show he was told by everyone, that he was filthy and worthless, crazy and weak, that his emotions were wrong, hell even his demon Butler Claude told him, he was unworthy becuse he loved him.

Everyone around him perfers the cold detached almost inhumane Ciel Phantomhive. Only Hannah Annafellows accepts and loves Alois for who he is, faults and all. She helps Alois triumph in the end and in the end its he who controls the fates of the oh so perfect Ciel, and both demons.

In the end he wins the game becuse he embraces his emotions and turns them into a strength beating the more manly, cold, detached, and more popular characters. Claude is also really detatched cold and calculateing and Sebastian simply uses emotion to manipulate people, underneath the mask he’s also pretty chilly.

This makes some fans angry becuse Alois character not only challanges social and gender roles with his behavior but succeeds even when it seems he’d been crushed like a bug. Grell is aloud to have the same behaviors as Alois and viewers are fine with it, becuse Grell is a trans women.

Women are suposed to be passionate and emotional according the the sterotype.

Or maybe i’m over thinking it and fans just hate Alois becuse he’s going against Ciel and they like Ciel and he put Sebastian out by makeing him unable to eat Ciel’s soul. And maybe people just love Grell because of her big chain saw. I don’t know for sure those were just my thoughts on the matter.

I don't know where I'm going with this, but I find it both interesting and OOC when people write Sebastian as someone who would care for sex. We've seen that he can fuck people, but it's for the purpose of getting the information. He knows how to fuck and make people feel good because he knows people's desires. He's literally a demon, so he does what he thinks the receiving person would enjoy and wants.

And sure, we've seen Sebastian leaning in closer for a kiss before almost eating Ciel's soul even though he didn't have to, he could just take it (I mean, Claude chose to kill Alois and not make it easier on him cause he doesn't really care while Sebastian does care for Ciel).

But I think if Seb and Ciel were to fuck canonically, if Sebastian was to receive any kind of sexual pleasure (such as a blowjob, for example), he'd make a performance out of it for Ciel's sake. I feel like Sebastian either doesn't feel much or he can't truly take pleasure in that because, well, he's a demon. Or not so much as he can't, but he doesn't CARE for that? All he wants if to eat Ciel's soul. Before he can do that, he, according to Yana's deleted post, likes to dress Ciel up like a pretty little doll and make him look right (according to society's standards).

So I feel like Seb would try and make Ciel feel good when it comes to sex. He wouldn't have to do something Ciel would expect from him exactly, but he could follow what he senses Ciel actually wants. He could try and tease Ciel in some ways, but if there's an actual order—to stop or to not do something, Seb, most likely, would have (or at least choose) to obey.

And yeah, Seb deserves to feel good, but feelings to him are such... an irrelevant thing? He's not human. The only way I feel he'd be able to truly enjoy any kind of stimulation is maybe through his actual demonic form? Which is basically a big black void with glowing eyes and big hand and claws, so it's another kind of stimulation. 🤷‍♀️

So yeah, in my mind, if they were to fuck, it's for Ciel's sake. Unreleased sexual tention, hormones, Seb toying with him for his own amusement when Ciel allows him such frivolity. if you ever want to tell him the reason why you chose that tattoo, then he’ll sit by your side and listen and offer you whatever comfort you need

You had expected a little more of a disruption when Ciel joined the school but it seemed like the demons had learned their lesson from the antics that ensued when you and Solomon joined. Ciel had been seen around Devildom before he joined the school and saw the power that the demon he called his butler possessed, Sebastian was not nearly as strong as the demon brothers but he was much stronger than any of the other lower demons that you shared the school with.

You hadn’t really been paying attention so you didn’t see Luke walk up to your table, you smiled at him when you realised that he was there “Hey.” You smiled as he put a tupperware box on your table “you made these?” “Mmhm.” He hummed a bright smile on his face as you opened the box to find six cupcakes in there. “For me?” You asked. “Of course.” He grinned and you reached in taking one out, you took a bite and hummed in satisfaction. “These are great.” You complimented him, your eyes catching Ciel across the room, he was sitting alone, like he did most of the time almost like he was accustomed to doing so, as if being disconnected was where he was most comfortable. You see the demon brothers are far stronger than the spider demon, essentially they do not belong to him anymore, the deal is broken as he will never be able to claim they’re soul, well unless he can kill every one of The Demon Lords or you order them to hand her over.” “I see.” Diavolo said as he looked over at the spider demon. “Leave.” He ordered “and take the human soul with you.” “Human soul?” You asked. “That one died a long time ago, he’s persistent it would seem and while he was the master once, I believe the roles have reversed and now he is bound to this demon until he dies.” Diavolo explained. “He was not pleasant while he was alive. I believe this is the punishment for his actions.” “Alois.” Claude ordered. “Coming!” Alois said cheerfully as he followed after him once Mammon dropped him. “You can’t make him let him go?” You asked. “Unfortunately there are things that even I can’t change, that human needs to have a purpose even if that means being used and that demon is spiteful, he always has been.” Diavolo explained. “For now we will concentrate on keeping the lot of you safe, I doubt that they will go after Luke but you and Ciel will be targets should they come back.” “They will come back.” Sebastian spoke. “How do you know that?” Diavolo asked. “It’s what I would do.” Sebastian answered as he watched the direction that Claude had left in, he had no loyalty to you or the brothers that protected you and yet somehow felt that he should help you, much like Ciel he had been wondering for a long time, maybe it was time to become a part of something again, live somewhere they could both be safe.

He's supposed to act as the alternative outcome for Ciel when he made his contract with sebastian. He's a product of his twisted environment and deserves a better family than the trancy household.

this is my tragic wet meow meow. he's like if a kitten were put in a torture machine before being left out in the rain. ok maybe not the best analogy. he is literally a child and he's been through so so so much and he did the only things he could to survive his situation and now he's fucked up for it.

his entire existence is basically him trying to find care and safety and company after surviving a bunch of horrific shit, but he comes off as violent and abrasive and "unstable" just because he doesn't really have any good ways to cope with his own torment. functionally, all of his weird or violent or off-putting behaviors are just a consequence of having been groomed and still being a kid who is holding so much of his own suffering with no reprieve.

(Also, ik, ik people are perfectly aware of Druitt. I just will never not be mad when his stupid face shows up. (Specially since rewatching S2 and realizing the old Earl Trancy taught him his disgusting ways and Druitt probably had a hand in selling Alois to him, ugh). I don't remember much more of the manga past some vague notions of the Green witch arc, but I will be salty AF if this guy ends up being the mastermind behind Ciel's parents murders, or ends up being a demon that just enjoys being on earth too much or something similar. I need a fic where Bluewer is trying to be a big brother to Ciel and Ciel is trying to get him off him so he and Sebastian can go scheme or smth. Maybe even the sisters try to get him to be part of the family.

If he was involved with the murder of Vincent and Rachel, it was by accident. Like, Undertaker likes him and I doubt he'd keep someone who killed Vincent around. I'm not a manga reader, but I got spoiled to hell and back when the twin reveal happened. Undertaker seems to care about the Phantomhives (having brought back R!Ciel and all that jazz) so I doubt he'd keep the mastermind or someone that purposefully did shit to aid the mastermind.

Perhaps Druitt does know smth, but I heavily doubt he was involved. I'd say that either another one of the Aristocrats of Evil or the Queen herself.
