another part of the ritual that he loved: watching their faces as they were thinking, entirely visible in their expression. it was almost as if he could literally see the cogs turning. how am i going to get out of this?, they were thinking. how could i hurt him before he hurts me?, they wondered. well, blair wanted to tell them, you won’t and you can’t. no matter how many times he had done this, no matter if the victim was a man or a woman, all their escape attempts failed, and they could rarely overpower him before he got them back. sometimes they’d be able to get a punch or kick in; one even stabbed him in the calf with his own knife, but he’d win in the end.
it was a game. he was a god. god always won.
Tumblr media
it seemed noah came to the right conclusion. “good girl!” blair praised her teasingly, rubbing the tip of his nose against her hair. “now that we’ve got that squared away, i might trust you enough to take my hand off your knee… but not just yet.” to demonstrate that, he put more pressure down, increasing their speed just a little. he had to watch the speedometer, make sure she didn’t try to capture the attention of some roadside cop even if she said she wouldn’t. victims lied. blair lied, too. he lied when he said he’d let them go and lied when he said he wasn’t going to hurt them. he lied about whatever he wanted and laughed when they realized the truth of it.
“peter cetera?” blair repeated in disbelief, tone utterly mocking. “my god.” he cribbed most of his musical taste from his twin brother, darby, his hometown’s resident metalhead. typically, blair was the more dominant of the two, but he let his brother take the lead when it came to whatever they listened to. the local record store was run by the only two other people in town with similar tastes in music and fashion—of course, the good people of robichaux labeled them as satanists because they didn’t know any better and watched too much sally jessy raphael—and they imported records from out of the state and sometimes out of the country. until his brother suddenly changed in the seventh grade from the normal trailer trash kid that the twins had always been and delved into the metal scene, blair hadn’t given much of a thought about music. whatever guess who or beatles record his parents played or soft rock like air supply played on the radio was just background noise to him.
“you like chicago? that shit’s for old people, man.” his grip on his knife loosened just a little, head tilting as he started ranting. “you don’t know what’s up and coming then, i’m telling ya. surely you know of metallica, right? they’re not my favorite but ride the lightning is one of the best albums that’s come out in decades, you gotta check it out. my brother liked iron maiden and shit but if i wanted to listen to a bunch of nerds talk about dragons and swords, i’d just go to some dungeons and dragons meetup, y’know?” blair laughed, delighted he had a captive audience. “personally, i like this band called ministry. their first album was some synth-pop duran duran bullshit, but then they came out with twitch and it was so much better. darby said they were posers but…” he sighed, trailing off. it was hard to talk about his twin brother and hard not to talk about his brother.
he was getting distracted.
suddenly, blair shifted his body and pressed the knife against her skin again. “anyway! who cares about that shit right now? clever tactic, though, getting my mind on something else. you’re smarter than i gave you credit for.” he had to blame his distraction on anything but himself, so he decided that she was trying to manipulate him. “too bad i hate smart girls!”
Of course the bargaining wouldn't work. Hell, Noah should know better. It was a tale as old as time: From the movie scripts she read and the parts she auditioned for to the pulp fiction on her shelf at her apartment to the news channels she flipped through before having her TV dinner for the night, victims never survived. Just immortalized, their names and birthdays and maybe an epitaph on a gravestone left to gather dust and dirt in a cemetery. Her throat and chest tightened at the thought that she would become just another memorial.
This couldn't be it, could it?
(If she made it out of this, she'd grovel on those cobblestone steps she always heard her dad talking about when it came to repenting for your sins or wishing for a better life from God. Begging. Noah never saw herself as a beggar, but this would change her. If she got out of this alive, she would...)
Her brain buzzed as it sifted through the thousands of possible sequences of events. If she tried to crash the car, she could kill them both. Or she could get away. Or he could stab her just as she's swerving the car and they'll flip, but he'll somehow get away unscathed. She could cooperate and keep driving. Play his game for as long as he wanted 'til he was bored. But then he'd throw her away whenever he was satisfied and all her cooperation would be for nothing. No matter how she worked through it in the seconds between his last words and what would be her first ones, things seemed grim—fucking pitch black lights out—for Noah.
Tumblr media
"You're—you're right," she stammered, any little hitched breath adding pressure to the way he held his knife against her neck. She tried to keep her voice relatively even and calm, feigning reasonability, despite the shuddering. "I'm sorry. I won't try anything. Won't drive off or speed or—or anything."
She kept her head straight, facing the road; her hands were firm on the wheel and her arms were growing stiff. But she darted her gaze toward him. Trying to burn the image of his face in her mind, anything she could see whenever the moonlight or a passing street lamp illuminated his face. Just in case she got out of this, she wanted this fucker caught. At the same time, she wanted him to trust her, or at least wanted to take a shot at him entrusting her in some way. Maybe he could see they weren't so different, that they could get along, and maybe he'd spare her. There was a chance he'd seen it all, heard it all. But not from Noah.
She licked her lips and focused for a moment on the song playing.
You bring out the best in me With love and understanding Anytime I need some understanding You are always there ♫
"I love Peter Cetera," she said, chuckling softly, attempting to conceal her nervousness. "Chicago didn't—didn't know what they had when they booted him and they were never really the same after he left." // @someotherdog

Can you please write something about Noahs girlfriend trying the ‘dafuq’ trend that I’ve seen all over TikTok on Noah 😭 If you haven’t seen the trend you can probably check anywhere for it! xx
I went down a rabbit hole watching these videos. Couples trend are so funny when they're harmless!
You know what other trend would be funny as hell? Recording with a filter and seeing how long it takes for Noah to notice his eyes are too far apart LOL
Tumblr media
From time to time, Noah agreed to do a video with you. You weren't super active on social media, but sometimes you posted food-related videos. This time, you invited him to taste the Crumbl flavors of the week.
You both left the store, and Noah was holding the large pink box full of cookies in his hands, and you reached in his pocket for the key to unlock the car. You both got in and he set the box on the center console, in between you two.
"Why do we have to eat in the car?", he asked you, a bit puzzled by the idea.
"Because it's the aesthetic, Noah", you explained, grabbing your phone and setting it on the holder stuck to the dashboard.
"Eating in the car is an aesthetic now?", he mumbled to himself and you just chuckled in response.
Noah thought you were just tasting the cookies in the video, but you had something else planned. You've seen this trend going around on TikTok, where girlfriends praked their boyfriends saying "dafuq" at the end of every sentence.
You decided that it would be a fun prank to pull on him, since it was harmless and there was finally a couples trend that didn't dimish the woman.
Since you didn't use many slangs while speaking, you had a feeling he would catch on pretty soon. But it was worth a try anyways.
"Ok, I'm gonna start recording", you told him and you saw him adjusting his hair out of the corner of your eye. You hit the record button and started speaking.
"Hey everyone, so we just left the Crumbl store, and we're sitting here with a big box full of cookies for us to try, dafuq", you said the last word a little lower, so it wasn't as obvious.
Noah rubbed his hands together, actually excited to try the sweet treats.
"So I was thinking we could split them in half, dafuq", you said, while opening the box and looking over the different flavors.
"What, did you find something strange in there?", he asked you, pering into the box, and you realized he was acknowledging the "dafuq" you added. Playing it cool, you replied.
"No, everything's fine", he only nodded in response. "Do you want to try the Confetti Milshake or the Snickerdoodle first, dafuq?"
You looked at him, trying to keep your composure. He was looking at you weird now, but didn't comment on it yet.
"We can try the Snickerdoodle first", he said and you went to grab the cookie and split it in half, handing one piece to Noah. You both clicnked your cookies together in a toast before eating, and you really hoped he wouldn't say cheers, because you couldn't imagine you saying "cheers dafuq".
You both took a bite out of the cookie, feeling the sweet flavor enter your mouth.
"This one is really nice. Simple and nice flavor", he gave his review.
"It is really nice. Not to sweet either, dafuq", you said, grabbing a napkin to clean your mouth.
"Ok, what is going on?", he finally asked you, now turning his body to fully face you.
"What do you mean, dafuq?", you said, looking at the box as if trying to decide the nest flavor.
"Nope, you're dodging the question. Why are you dafuq to the end of every sentence?", he grabbed your hand and you turned your head to look at him.
You couldn't help but break into laughter. His expression was actually serious, because he was actually concerned about you.
"Why are you laughing?", he asked, with a little indigination in your voice.
"Oh, this is so funny", you grabbed your stomach and tried to take some deep breaths. "It's just a prank I've seen on TikTok", you finally explained to him.
"Oh my God", he breathed a sigh of relief. "I thought your brain was malfunctioning for a moment", he put a hand on his chest.
"I'm fine, I promise", you put a comforting hand on his arm, and after finally calming down, he said.
"Can we try the Confetti Milkshake now?"
You stopped recording and grabbed the cookie from the box, splitting it in half and giving a piece to Noah.

🎾Tennis Dan - Part 35🎾
Tumblr media
Soooo I started writing this at the start of the year when the Australian open was actually going on and then my brain decided it needed a break. Which fair…. I'd been writing 3 Roses non-stop and then like a lot of smaller fic around that time as well. I took the break my body requested then just…. didn't have the inspiration to come back to this. I wanted to do a completely new chapter but I also really liked what I'd already written here, so I finished it. Nothing else has been written so anything after this chapter will be like, current lol
I'm so sorry for taking so long to bring our boys back, please forgive me.
Part 1 | Part 34
Max felt the roar of the Australian crowd as the set finally ended. Sustained by the announcement that the last rally surpassed the games record of 27 volleys with 31. The set had been going on for over an hour now with both players giving it their all.
Max watched as Daniel wiped at his face with the oversized towel. He was drenched in sweat, the planes of his muscles were obvious through the slicked fabric of his shirt.
This was the longest match Max had ever witnessed, Daniel and his opponent were very well matched and they each had an answer whenever the other had the upper hand. The scoreboard looked like an annoying math equation with integers and fractions.
It was clear who the crowd were behind though, the ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi’ chants riled the packed stadium in every break. The inflatable kangaroos waved merrily when Daniel got the advantage.
He was doing well for himself in his first big Open back from injury. Daniel had spent the Christmas break in training camp on the ranch while Max had been doted on by Grace and Daniel's grandmother.
Watching Daniel in his element would always make Max's blood simmer in his veins. Daniel was calm, focused, and fucking good. His navy shorts were short– mid thigh and shorter than he normally wore but Max wouldn't say he was complaining. Not when Daniel was lunging and stretching this way and that, Max loved watching his straining muscles.
He watched as Blake and Michael hurriedly poured packets of salt in a branded water bottle and shook it all together. Daniel had already drank all of the electrolyte drink and even the ‘just in case' pickle juice that had been packed in his gear bag. They were moving quickly, never once expecting the match to go on this long, for him to go through the back stores.
A court attendant in a white wide brimmed hat accepted the bottle and placed it by Daniel's bench. Daniel grabbed the bottle and took a sip and Max chuckled when his face involuntarily squished onto itself before he raised a thumbs up. He drank the salty water like a trooper before chasing it with some ice cold fresh water.
He made a face that was broadcast onto the screens, with his tongue out and sharp head shake, the crowd cheered and screamed. Daniel grimaced then laughed before waving to the camera goodnaturedly. He stood and wiped his face again before grabbing his racquet. The crowd swell was insane.
The next few sets went quickly after that, most into Daniel's favour. Max stopped paying attention to the clock, to the score. Instead focused on how strong and– quite frankly– fucking sexy Daniel looked below him. Panting and straining and looking positively dominant.
Grace's hand clamping onto his arm brought Max back to the present. The stadium was tense, with the sound of thousands of people gasping and holding their breaths.
Max looked to see Daniel on the ground, on his back. His opponent returned the volley with vigor and Daniel had no time to get back up. The crowd groaned with fear and Grace seemed as if she wanted to hide her face.
Then Daniel arched up and volleyed back from his position on the ground. Then he scrambled to his feet just as the ball was returned. Daniel grinned widely and watched triumphantly as the ball went out. The stadium roared and Daniel beat his chest, then raised his hands tiredly in thanks.
— - —
Max licked his way up the planes of Daniel's back as he laid prone on bed beneath him. His arms were spread out like a cross, ice packs taped to his biceps and traps.
Daniel was exhausted, and Max had elected to be the one in charge of his post match care. He'd say through the trophy ceremony impatiently, he couldn't wait to get his hands on Daniel.
“Mmm Max.” Daniel groaned gutterally, his face smushed into the sheets. Drool collected beneath his lips to form a wet patch.
Max had been edging him the whole time, massaging his muscles while keeping him horny as hell. Daniel's body was a livewire of pain and pleasure and his dick was hard and leaking, trapped beneath him.
“You did so well today, Daniel. You were perfect. My perfect champion.” Max cooed in Daniel's ear, pressing his hard dick between the cleft of Daniel's cheeks. Daniel shivered and whined.
Max kissed the column of Daniel's neck and rutted against him, savouring each of Daniel's breathy moans and exhales.
“You're gonna come for me baby, let me take care of you.”
“Yeah.” Daniel panted, trying and failing to raise his head or his hips for better access to Max's roving lips and grinding hips. He wanted to do more but his energy was done. And Max felt so so so good.
“Don't worry, I'll fuck you tomorrow baby. I promise.” Max gripped Daniels hips and picked up his speed. Daniel's whines became hitched before his eyes clenched and he stiffened beneath him. Daniel choked out a moan while Max murmured praises into his ear, a soft smile on his pink lips.
“Max, fuck.” Daniel rasped and Max came with a moan of Daniels name.

HC that Steve smoked a fair amount of weed during his Scoops days to take the edge off the cold harsh reality of Life and bought from Eddie a few times so he def saw Stevie in The Shorts (prob with a hoodie over top, sans hat duh) but it wasn’t until Eddie was taking a look in the new record store / going to see a movie that he saw Steve in the full get up through the window. He was tempted to tease him about it the next time he sold to him (read, flirt a little maybe) - something like ‘Ahoy, Harrington’ or ‘do you prefer Captain Steve over King Steve now’ but then the fire happened and Steve was looking like hell after (not just physically) and needed a break from mind altering substances for a while (until Eddie saw him in the booze aisle while he was making a snack run before the new Hellfire crew had their first meeting). The time for those flirty jokes was long passed and the next time he sees Steve it’s when he’s pressing him up against a wall in the boathouse…
ohhhh i LOVE it when they sort of kind of know each other from Before™ like this yessssss. also LOVE anything that has to do with eddie having seen steve in his scoops days lol, that is just PURE GOLD content right there. (also LOVE "do you prefer captain steve over king steve" YES thats SO GOOD)
but yesss, they know each other in passing, have only met up a few times but it's only been for business. until eddie stops by the new mall (despite telling himself he'd never be caught dead there) because they have a record store, one that actually sells the music he likes according to gareth, and the nearest other one that carries any of the music eddie likes is in indianapolis and he CANNOT swing driving all the way out there just for a couple of records. so he goes, and right across from the record store is scoops, and eddie snorts at the nautical theme, sees a girl he vaguely recognizes behind the counter in a silly little hat with an annoyed look on her face as she serves some kids. and he doesn't think anything of it until he hears a verrrrry familiar voice (one that HASNT been haunting his dreams lately, it has NOT) and his head snaps back over and there, in all his glory, is steve harrington, wearing the dorkiest (and somehow hottest what the fuck?) uniform ever, wearing the biggest goofiest grin on his face as he pretends to swordfight some curly haired kid that's grinning just as big and laughing gleefully.
and eddie's like GONE after that.
he doesnt hear from steve after that, and eddie tries not to be disappointed. and to fill that void, he ends up going to the mall just about every day. it's embarrassing, soooo embarrasing, and he tries his best not to be seen by anyone, especially as he loiters near the bushes outside of scoops ahoy. if anyone asks he's just trying to get a good look at the ice cream, that's all, nothing else. he forces himself not to actually go up to the counter because if he does he'll end up coming back every day, he knows himself, and he cannot cannot afford to pick up an ice cream habit.
so he tells himself instead, that the next time steve reaches out for his goods, he'll say something about scoops. reeeeeal casual, of course. test the waters first, see how receptive he is to it. then, if it goes well, he'll comment on the uniform (how could he not?) and depending on how that goes over, maybe he'll push his luck a little.
except he doesn't hear from steve the rest of the summer, and then the mall burns down, and steve was caught up in all of that. eddie's relieved that steve survived it (and not just because of his crush, okay? it's fucking horrible for anyone to die in a mall fire). part of him thinks (hopes) that maybe after all of that trauma steve might finally start coming back to him for a little something to take his mind off of it, a little self medication. it probably wouldn't be smart to sell to him after that, but eddie would do it. not only because he wants to see steve, but because he wants to make sure steve just goes for the easy stuff, not the hard stuff, and he wants to make sure he's not overdoing it too. (what can eddie say, he likes to take care of his customers.... or like. he does now.)
except steve doesn't.
and the next time eddie sees him, he's shoving steve up against the wall in less than ideal circumstances, wishing things could be different.

apple - what's your guilty pleasure? i've never felt guilty for my pleasures

nightingales - what makes it all worth it for you? Aziraphale
tartan socks - hot or not? absolutely. the hottest.

for the love of GOD tell me about trans sirius in the early 2000s babyyyy
this one is my main focus rn!!!!
basically I wrote a mini-fic back last month to the song 'you wouldn't like me' about trans sirius & record store owner remus but set in like 2005!!! texting on nokia phones, dancing to bubblegum pop at the club, and centering the whole universe around the tegan and sara album 'so jealous.' here's the mini-fic!
just thinking about sirius being 20ish in the early 2000s. bopping around his apartment listening to “you wouldn’t like me” and singing SO loud and thinking about the guy who works at the record store and wondering if they have a copy of this album, if he should just go ask. any excuse to see him. putting on his binder, smoothing his chest in the mirror, singing, i feel like i wouldn’t like me, if i met me braiding his messy hair and putting earrings in and watching the curve of his own hips like they belong to someone else. high-waisted jeans, worn-in tank top, nose ring. put together, uniform and neat but like a fuckin’ jenga tower - one wrong touch and the whole thing would topple over. i feel like, you wouldn’t like me if you met me sirius wears platform motorcycle boots to make him taller, he keeps his head down on the walk there but snaps up as soon as he’s inside the shop and - there he is. standing next to the ‘new arrivals’ section like everything is normal, completely unaware that the simple act of him existing in the world turns sirius’s upside down. the shop is empty, it’s just the two of them and he looks radiant, gives sirius a wide open smile. “sirius - hi, i - i’ve never really gotten to introduce myself, i’m remus. have you heard this album yet?” he - remus, sirius’s favorite name, maybe he should change his own again - holds up a copy of “so jealous” and the unexpected joy of being known fills sirius up to the brim. don’t you worry, there’s still time
this will be expanded into a long, multi-chapter fic! I am deep in the research phase rn. I mean was 15 in 2005 so I have a pretty good knowledge base already lol

Blog #2 --- October 19th, 2024
I'm baaccck! I'm so happy I remembered to write here.
Today, I got my nose pierced! With the boy (I'll call him Otter, since he basically is one) lol. It was so much fun --- I was a little nervous it might be awkward, but honestly, we had a blast!
I started my day by walking to the barn to give Inka his meds and retrieve my bike. It was really cold today, so my hands were pretty numb when I got back. Then, I went to a bagel place to pick up sandwiches for Otter and I. Then, I popped into Trader Joe's to pick up a protein shake that I've been craving (I'm on my period, so it's been a little rough). I don't know why I was craving the protein shake --- it's.... not very good lol.
Then, I went back and changed quickly. I met Otter by my car -- we hugged, and he had brought me a bagel with cream cheese! We laughed a little about how we both got each other food, and then hopped in the car. We had a lot of fun talking and joking around. The conversation flows really easy with him, and honestly? I think I like being friends more than I liked dating him. There was this pressure removed --- this pressure of wondering if he still liked me romantically, or if I looked pretty, or if I was saying the right thing. Not dating him just... Made it easy. I think I'm going to start as friends with potential love interests from now on.
Anyways. After a little detour to follow the river, we got to my piercing appointment in MP. We walked in, and my pierce-er got me set up. His name was Ari, and he was super friendly --- and very sweet! I was really, really nervous though. I don't remember much of the appointment, but Otter said that I was being really funny. I'm so happy I can make him laugh. When I make people laugh, it makes me feel good.
After that, we walked around town a bit. We went to a super cute record store (I'm considering getting a record player now... and a cd player lol), then to the rock store. I got us pendants! Mine has a unicorn on it. I like it a lot. We then went to a bookstore, where we talked a lot about kids and how we both love/want them, and then about the books we read as a kid. We then went to a bookstore, where Otter saw a book he really liked, but it was $32... I learned later that he was going to cop it, but didn't want me to frown on him. I laughed at him, because I wouldn't have given a shit. I honestly would have encouraged it. Anyways, at least now he knows haha.
We sat in a graveyard for a bit, where I tried to teach him how to loon call. He got a few hoots! Very proud of him. We then went and had lunch at a Napal/Indonesian place, where we watched people try to parallel park and talked about our past relationships and what went wrong with them. He got pork chow mien and I got chicken momos --- both very good! After this, we went to NBNC and walked around for a while. We found a cool bench, he harvested some flowers, and we just talked in general.
We were talking about something I had said at the piercing shop --- I had started talking about my IUD (I was so out of it) and I half-jokingly told him he should have told me to shut up. He laughed, but shot back that he would never do that. I almost cried lmao. The amount of times that I've been told to shut up, or that I'm annoying, or this that and the other by people who were supposed to be my friends is (as I'm realizing) not... Healthy. It was kinda funny. I just had a moment of realization that I shouldn't have been told those things, and that I am okay --- I don't need to feel bad about being talkative or anything. I'm okay, I'm not annoying. I might cry just thinking about it.
That came at a good time, because the past couple weeks the things one of my closer friends (we'll call him Fox) has said to me had been weighing on me. Sometimes, when Fox gets jealous of me, he has a tendency to snap and say something really mean. A few examples would be when I made a joke (and added onto it in my head) and he snapped that "you aren't as funny as you think you are". Another time, he told me I was being annoying, and another time that I could apologize 1,000 times and it still wouldn't make up for how stupid I am. Along with this, there's always some little comment (at least once a week) where he calls me stupid/idiotic, airheaded, etc. It makes me really sad, because he knows that I'm sensitive about these things. But it's okay. I think I trust Otter's judgement more.
Anyways, then we drove back -- we listened to some great music, oo'd and aw'd over the mountains, and yapped more. When we got back, I came to his room while he gathered some supplies (he was going to meet some friends). I flopped on the floor and he gathered his things. I asked for some ibuprofin, and when he said sure, I said 'I love you'. Didn't mean to, but I've never been able to hide when I love someone (and no, not romantically --- I'm not my ex LMAO. Maybe one day I'll add the context to this blog, but I know what I mean). I'm so happy that he's my friend. He's so awesome, and apparently might also be switching into the education program? I think he'd make an incredible teacher.
Then, we went to Lowe's (where he snagged some firewood for free --- good for him), and then I helped him carry his stuff to the beach where he was meeting his friends. We said our goodbyes, and I came home to clean my septum. It was a GREAT day. I can't tell you how many beautiful trees we saw, and we got to pet three dogs, and see so many adorable kids. It was truly one of the best days ever.
I'm really tired, but I'm going to crochet.

Okay so this part was SOOO GOOD! I'm literally BUZZING with their reunion! I think it’s just so cute that she has kept so many notebooks about her and Harry even after all this time😭This speaks to the journal obsessed part of me lol and the fact that she thinks he’s moved on is CRAZY but im not surprised since she did get insecure about their relationship(fuck Lauren lol) so I ger her! The detail of the pic on the figure was just so 💔 bc MY MAN WOULD HAVE AND WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF HER😭 oh and that little part about how ‘hope” feels, bestie that was such a beautiful way to explain it!
also the image of Harry in a fireman uniform… yeah I just know he’s so😵‍💫 is it kind of creepy he knew where she would be? Yeah but like idgaf THEY ARE SOULMATES so I'm choosing to believe that their bond was calling him to go there lol the KITTEN NAME DROP AFTER SO MANY YEARS MY HEART😭 but ugh god the mention of Lauren still being somewhat close to her MAKES ME WANT  TO SCREAM!!!(trust me I love it for the plot) Now I loved their balcony moment and it was nice to see how his instinct was just to take care of her! Oh tell me why I was giggling so hard about everyone’s reaction to Harry sending that text! And you know I love a good jealousrry moment even if it’s small! Though I did love the mention of how each of them mourns the loss of their friendship with her differently and going through a friendship breakup is just as painful! Was so sad for Louis :( BUT OVERALL I LIVED FOR THIS SAM!! So well written and I'm so excited where this story is going to go! Very excited!!! Loved it so much!
Hope you have a lovely and relaxing weekend! Wishing you the best! LOVE YOU!!-💜
I realized I was writing almost entirely from Harry's POV. I try REALLY hard to split the POVs from Harry and my MC. This part was completely uneven even after I added her part, but it just was SO much better from his perspective lol. But I did end up really loving the part I wrote from her POV. I thought the notebooks were a cute touch and I actually am really proud of the candle/hope analogy 😭🙈 sometimes I get an idea in my head and I'm like "It would be so cool if I could come up with something profound right now. Like John Green saying 'slowly, then all at once'." I'm not sure I'll ever get that, but I'll keep trying. But humbly, I do surprise myself with what I come up with solely because I have this moment of clarity where I'm like "Okay, I'm writing Harry Styles fanfic do I need to inform the masses about how I think roses are prickly and wildflowers are strong?" probs not. But it happens I suppose.
Spoiler/not spoiler I'm really looking forward to writing about her finding out that Harry hasn't moved on even a little 🤭 I'm glad you liked the journaling part! Our little writer girly wouldn't do anything less I don't think. I don't know if I knew you were a journal-er! I need to start keeping notes of you on my computer to consult after a year 😭 It would look like this:
has 4 dogs that don't like fireworks
studies psych (and takes way too many classes)
enjoys drag brunches and record stores
Paramore [Wikipedia page biographer?]
journals
enjoys thrifting (and can alter her finds!?)
Anti-Victoria's Secret
has a competent MALE therapist
But anyway 😭 I know you're more than this and I would so add more but it's a good starting point to keep track of things 💕
I probably glossed over the explanation of him just knowing where she was so YES we should assume it's just that soulmate connection that brought him to her. I SWEAR I saw an AI photo of him in a firefighting uniform. I'm also DESPERATELY trying to get on fireman TikTok for inspo and for my own personal gain 👀👀
I know we hate Lauren lol it's so funny what you guys pick up on because I don't even THINK about her at all when I think of this series 😭
I believe so fully that Harry would be the kind of guy that lays his jacket down on a puddle for her to walk across (probs shouldn't have said that, now I gotta come up with another analogy to write 🤣) so I wanted him to just fall right back into being so infatuated with her and taking care of her immediately. I figured I needed a mood lightener and them all worried about Harry was the best I could do on short notice 😅 I like to keep the friends in my stories as mostly minor characters (except for Traditional) mainly because I struggle to sustain prolonged interactions with others (I just want all my couples to live in their own little love bubbles). UGH I wanted to make him more jealous! But I think rationally, he wouldn't be jealous of his friends. Maybe I'll do it for the next part hehehehehe As it is not in my notes above, I believe I recall that you weren't TOTALLY into 1D but Louis was always denoted as the goofball and I think that was a gross underestimation of his emotions (see also the times I've said his lyrics are 👌) ANYWAY
Thank you for attending this week's book club 💕
FINALLY A QUIET WEEKEND 🎉 Hope yours is good too! 💕
xoxo
P.S. In true-Sam fashion, my lack of feedback on this part is making me so sad and feeling like it's an absolute flop. I wish I didn't write so much sometimes because my series tend to start off SO good but fizzle by the end. My one-shots do SO much better. But I want MORE to happen. Maybe I'm just bad at having stories progress? I know, I know, notes aren't everything and summer is a weird time for people and I know with Harry being MIA in real life people are missing him and not writing as much and also not reading as much. But yeah, it's part of why my updates are far between :/

broo i have this request that i think i’d do cute OK so the reader goes to build a bear it makes a build a bear and like put one of those heart recordings with her voice saying like I love you or something!! and she sprays her perfume and stuff on it and gives its to jack to bring to him while he’s on tour😭😭 i thought of this idea and i think it’s so cute like him playing it and bringing it everywhere
a piece of home
(jack harlow x reader)
bloo's notes: omggg i love this. i wanna go do this with someone lol. anyway, enjoy y'all!!! currently writing this with my build a bear next to me.
tag list: @creme-delacreme @harlowcomehome @wittyjasontodd @sealpuptrash @moody4world @thinkingaboutjharlow
jack was leaving for tour in a few days and it would be the first time that you wouldn't be joining him. you had your own things to attend to but you assured jack that you would fly out to some of his shows. he was taking it pretty hard, he didn't want to be apart from you for so long. and that's when a genius idea popped into your head. you decided to go to build a bear and make him a bear with your voice inside of it.
jack had told you he would be out for most of the day, having a meeting with his team about the upcoming tour. you decided it was the perfect opportunity for you to go down to build a bear and build jack a bear. you walked into the store and picked a skin out, a simple brown bear. you then made your way to the stuffing section where you picked out a heart and recorded your voice saying "i love you jack and i am so proud of you baby". the bear was stuffed and whenever you pressed the right paw your message would start playing. next, you made your way over to the fun part, picking out an outfit. you picked out a shirt that said 'emotional support bear'. you giggled to yourself as you put it onto the bear. then you picked out some pants, after some deciding, you landed on some blue jeans. as you made your way to check out your eyes landed on a microphone that would attach to the bear. you just hand to get it. you finally paid and made your way back home. you were so excited to give this to jack.
you were happy to see that jack was already home by the time you pulled into the drive way. you grabbed the bear out of the box and sprayed some of your perfume that you had packed in your purse. you hopped out of the car and grabbed the box that held the bear. you unlocked the door and made your way inside, "baby, i'm home! where are you?" you questioned. "i'm in the kitchen" jack yelled back. you walked into the kitchen and said "i have a little surprise for you bubs". " a surprise for me?" jack questioned and his eyes immediately landed on the large build a bear box. he had a confused look on his face. you shoved the box toward him so he could see what was inside. "what is this baby?" he laughed as he opened the the box and pulled out the bear. "i just wanted to give you something to take on tour, a piece of home" you said. "press the right paw" and so he did. your voice filled the quiet room, "i love you jack and i am so proud of you baby". jack pressed it again. "wow baby, i love it, thank you so much" he said as he wiped a tear away from his eyes and he pulled you into a kiss. "i'm glad you like it baby" you said with a smile on your face, content with his reaction.
the day jack left for tour was a bitter sweet moment. you were happy to see him pursue his dream but sad that you wouldn't wake up next to him every morning. a few days had gone by and you still weren't used to jack's absence. your world had become so quiet, not even urban was here to bother you, and neelam wasn't here to gossip with. but you all kept in touch regularly and as much as you could.
jack on the other hand was extremely homesick. and every time he felt homesick he would squeeze that little paw and he would start feeling better again. he took that bear everywhere. he made sure it was in good hands at all times. sometimes that meant neelam would be sitting there with a bear that said "emotional support bear" across it's chest. jack was attached to that bear. he held it when he slept and would press the paw right before he went to bed and right as he woke. he loved nuzzling up to it, the scent of the bear bringing him so much comfort. who knew such a small bear could calm down such a large man.

Could you write more stalker HC's with Edward Nashton ? I hate most fix-it AU's with him, much prefer him as a delusional obsessive incel. Your writing is lovely, no pressure to answer my request immediately. Have a great night
Edward Nashton - General Stalking HCs
I sure can! And tysm! It means a lot! Hope your day is going well so far! And honestly I prefer that as well. What better way to help heal my insecurities then having the most obsessive boyfriend imaginable LOL tw :: violence , stalking , violation of privacy , use of the yandere trope , generally abusive relationships , toxic and delusional mindsets , Edward being Edward
Tumblr media
❓ Any and all doubts that exist inside of Edward's head about the validness of his intensity when it comes to his partner are given quick rebuttals. He is simply a man in love, a man who's finally found a hint of purity among the sea of corruption, a man who wishes to cherish the gem he came across. Seeing nothing wrong with his actions, he'll take negative reactions from his love interest especially negatively.
❔ Because of his delusional lack of self awareness, Edward is only prone to hiding in the shadows in the beginning. Whether it be the stalker stereotype of watching you behind corners or sneaking into your home in the later hours of the night, all of those and actions related are quickly discarded in favor of interacting with you directly. First it began with a kind stranger bumping into you at your favorite small store and striking up a conversation with you, then you saw him more often, and soon enough, he was knocking at your door with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. Any signs of you being disturbed at his behavior are met with confusion. Though Edward doesn't know much about romantic relationships as he would have liked, he assumed gift giving was a common way to portray courtship. So, he must ask, what's the issue?
❓ Edward holds a strong belief about the gaining of knowlage, and so the only way to quench his thirst for such is to directly learn about the object of his affections. Whether it be smaller details such as your preferred orientation, what you do on a weekend night or much larger details about what you wish to see in a partner or what medications you take, all knowledge he gains about you is stored in dozens of notebooks, filled to the brim with information so obscure that perhaps even you wouldn't have known it about yourself before reading
❔Along with the notebooks, Edward also has littered among his bookshelves many photo albums, all sorted and detailed. Entire albums may be dedicated to photos specifically of you sleeping, while other less-filled albums may just contain photos of you interacting with him he was somehow able to gather with a small camera
❓ His followers are also alerted of your existence and his interest in you, and are encouraged to gather as many photos of you as they can if they are by chance able to catch a glimpse of you walking the streets of Gotham. Of course, Edward has a hard time containing his jealously at the idea of someone other than him gazing upon your divine body let alone taking photos, but they're his followers, and it's not like he didn't ask them too, so that jealously he will gladly forget about the moment one of them comes to him with a particularly aww-worthy shot of you.
❔ His computer is also a hotspot for you as well, given the amount of files he has dedicated to illegally required recordings of your phone calls, recordings of you sleeping or singing to yourself alone in your room. Edward hates the idea of dirtying the pure love he has for you, but the heat that encompasses his body whenever you make an especially cute noise, by mistake or otherwise, is something he just can't help. He'll have to warn you next time he sees you of the things you're known to do to him. Just in case, right? He would hate to rush things with you and overwhelm you, but at the rate things are going he might not be able to control himself for much longer.

6:00 A.M.
Dennis hated waking up. Though he was married whenever he arose and reached over to his wife's side of the bed it was always cold. It didn't used to be this way. Not too long ago he would wake to find her snuggling into him, but now it was as if he was a single man all over again.
Scrubbing his hands over his face as he sat on the edge of the bed he wondered where his wife was this time. At some point after he was laid off she started changing. Working out more, staying out more, sleeping over at her sisters for reasons she never made clear to him.
Walking over to the closet Dennis retrieved his uniform, laying it on top of the bed, neatly. The gawd awful pink retail shirt, unflattering khaki pants, with the leather belt and penny loafers made him internally groan at the sight each morning.
As the steam dissipated from the shower Dennis mindlessly stared at his own reflection. Dread poured over him the closer it got time for him to leave for work. This job was a far cry from his former one as Head of IT. A major data breach ruined his career in the tech field. Despite his best efforts to prevent the cyber attack his warnings went unheeded, sighting unnecessary cost for the infrastructure. And when the inevitable happened his neck was brought to the chopping block.
With that blemish on his record it was hard to get another job of similar note with this infraction hanging over his head. Now reduced to technical expert at Betsy's Computer store. A glorified titled for a retail worker that pushed more PS5's than actual technical support.
With the drop in title so did the salary. The mortgage, car note and other bills began piling up on top of each other. Credit cards were starting to hit their own limit, all contributing to his physical and mental decline.
💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️
7:00 A.M.
As he began dressing he heard a faint sound coming from down stairs. Tucking in his shirt as he left the bedroom he heard the rare sound of his wife, Sarah. She was talking cheerfully to someone he hoped would be her sister. When he entered the archway his heart sank as she quieted herself, her mood fully changed before slipping her cell into her pocket.
Quickly she picked up a dish that contained scraps of some healthy meal that she only made for herself. Rinsing it off at the sink as Dennis approached her from behind.
Leaning over Dennis tried to kiss her cheek, but swiftly Sarah pulled away. “Ugh!”
"What's wrong?" He knew, but he had to hear it.
"You have a bad penis?" she answered before leaving him alone in the kitchen as he bottled up the hurt as he always did. Tucking away the insult and then burying it deep.
Dennis's erectile dysfunction was just the cherry on his shit cake. He had seen several doctors. All prescribed this or that, but nothing worked. The lack of intimacy helped to further wreck havoc on his marriage.
💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️
8:00 A.M.
The entrance to the gaudy pink building dinged as the automatic doors opened.
"Morning Dennis" you smiled as he walked through the opened doors. He scrunched his face as if he didn't recognize you. You had only run into him once or twice since you started last week, so you weren't surprised he didn't remember.
"How did you..?" He looked a mix of tired and confused as he stood between the doorway.
Your head tilted and gave him a look, before tapping the name plate on your chest. Dennis followed your finger, your badge sat perched on your left breast. You shifted on your feet as his eyes lingered on your nameplate longer than you would've liked.
"Hadn't had your coffee yet I see" you joked. Quickly Dennis shifted his eyes away, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Yeah" Dennis chuckled dryly.
"Well, there is a fresh pot in the back last time I checked and  a few donuts. I think Richard brought some in. If you hurry you might be able to snatch one up." You brushed off his awkwardness.
Maybe he isn't a morning person.
You could see Dennis on the verge of reply, but your attention diverted to the customer walking to your open lane. "How was your shopping today? Do you have a Betsy card?" You read off your script as they laid their items down. In the corner of your eye you watched him linger a bit, before continuing on toward the back to clock in.
💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️
3:00 P.M.
Dennis grumbled with hands on hips as he looked at the disarray of the printer cartage wall. He had organized and reorganized the entire aisle at least five times today. He had only been gone five minutes only to return to chaos.
Quickly taking inventory with his clipboard he made notes of what he needed before storming off to the storage room. Through his irritation he found it hard to stay mad as thoughts of you clouded his head while he walked.
The tiny interaction from earlier in the day had haunted him. Trying in vein Dennis tried his hardest to focus on anything else, but the more he fought it the more you seemed to just pop up. He found his eyes locking with yours in-between various interactions with customers as you cut through his section to get to the break room. Each time you fluttered your fingers and smiled at him, leaving him flustered, returning the smile more stiff and awkward than the time before.
Opening the door to the storage room Dennis's heart skipped a beat when he found you bent over examining a shelf. You hadn't noticed him yet, too focused on the numbers on the paper you held in search of an item.
Swallowing thickly Dennis gingerly closed the door quietly in an effort not to spook you. His cock twitched slightly the longer he stood against the door. When you moaned in frustration after you placed an item back on the shelf a heat rippled through his face forcing him to bite back a groan of his own.
Staying quiet, he released the knob and started to move closer to you. Each step Dennis felt his heart beat through his ears as your hips swayed before him.
The narrow aisle forced Dennis to squeeze past you to reach his desired destination. Sucking in his bottom lip hungrily he pushed his hips forward as he slid behind, the slight graze made you jump up and yelp in surprise.
"Oh gosh Dennis you scared me!" You giggled slightly embarrassed. You placed a hand over your chest and the other on his shoulder.
"Sorry" looking sincerely at you as he held his hands up innocently. "Just trying to reach the ink." Hoping to take the focus away from his bottom half. The light graze was enough to awaken that piece of him that he had long sense gave up on.
"It's OK. It's super tight back here. Kind of hard not to knock into someone." You brushed of your shock and turn back to your task. With your back to him again adjusted himself awkwardly.
"Hey, wait!" Your call froze him in his tracks.
Dennis's back tensed and a panic shot through his core as he heard your steps approach. His work pants had become uncomfortably tighter all thanks to you.
Slyly he pressed his clip board over his buckle when you rounded his side. Internally Dennis prayed that you wouldn't notice the throbbing erection below his belt.
"Can you help me I can’t find this." You were still focused on the paper you held, pushing it in his line of sight as you waited for him to respond. You were so close that your perfume tickled his nose and he wondered if you tasted just as sweet as you smelled.
Dennis's lips deepened into a frown when Richard, the floor manager, called your name from the now open storage door.
"We need you back on registers. Let me handle that for now." Richard demanded.
"Oh OK" turning away from him you handed the papers to Richard as he approached. "Thanks anyway Dennis" you patted Dennis's back before walking off. The sudden lack of touch sent an ache to his heart as he watched you disappear through the door.
💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️
5:30 P.M.
The rain came down hard. You hadn't check the weather, when you left your apartment earlier in the day the sky was clear. Without an umbrella you made a mad dash to your car on the far end of the lot. Panting wildly, by the time your reached the car you were soaked through and through.
Slipping in you shrieked when the white flash crashed too close to your car. Fumbling with your keys before sticking them in the ignition you quickly found disappointment. The engine wouldn't turn over. It took several clicks of the turning key, before you stared baffled at the wheel. You had never had issues with your car before, so you were at a loss as to what could be the cause.
A bashing came loud on your side that caused you to scream in fright. Your heart beat rapidly, but when you looked over you found Dennis standing outside your door holding his umbrella.
"You OK?" He queried as you manually rolled your window down.
"It won't start. I think its the battery?" You weren't sure, but it sounded plausible.
"I would give you a jump, but it's a little dangerous. I can give you a ride though." He shouted over the heavy rain.
"Oh gosh, are you sure?"
"Yeah, come on."
Unbuckling your seat Dennis held the door open for you as you got out. You stuck close to his side, huddling under his umbrella as he led you to his car.
Opening the passenger door you thanked Dennis then slipped inside. He closed the door than jogged over to the driver's side, you giggled at his awkward stride and wondered if there was any part of him that wasn't weird.
💻🌧🍔 💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️
Through his peripheral Dennis watched you. Your perfume seemed to waft through his tiny Toyota and he hoped that it would sink into the upholstery.
"It's over there, just turn right on the corner" you directed him. He nodded at your direction. Suddenly sad that the ride was coming to an end sooner than he would've liked.
"You can slow down here. Mine is the one in the middle."
Dennis slowed to park as you gathered your things and readied to disembark. "Um uh I know this is weird, but do you think I can.. use your restroom?" It came out bumbled and he internally kicked himself for that.
"Oh gosh yes of course." You touched his arm as you spoke, the patch of skin sending jolts all throughout.
Dennis exited the car first as you waited patiently for him to shelter you from the rain.
You thank him again as you both jogged to your front door. With your keys at the ready you unlocked the door and allowed him in after you. "First door on your right" you point down the hall as you slipped out of your work shoes.
💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️💻🌧🍔💍🚘☔️
8:00 P.M.
Dennis didn't move.
"So how is married life?" You nervously inquired, noticing the gold band on his finger.
He didn't answer and the look on his face started to fill you with concern.
He is just an awkward guy. Don't over think it.
"Um would you like something to drink" you made a move to walk toward the kitchen, but Dennis blocked your advance. Stepping a foot back you started to panic. "So h-how do you like working at.."
Before you could finish Dennis sandwiched you between the door.  Fruitlessly you tried to wiggle free as his hands began to roam your sides. Pushing at his chest he stood unmoved by your efforts as he leaned in close to your cheek, peppering you with kisses along your neck.
"Please Dennis.." You trembled out. Dennis wedged between your legs, the feel of his hard cock had you hiccuping as you pleaded with him to stop.
The muscles in your arm burned as you push, your hands flailing and slipping off his wet clothes. He inhaled you, humming with delight as his stubble burned against your neck.
Tears coated your eyes as he began feverishly unbuckling your belt. Your nails clawed into his flesh to no effect, tossing your hands away effortlessly as he continued to maneuver your pants down past your hips.
It was if the mild mannered retail clerk had become a completely different person and you couldn't understand why.
"I see the way you look at me" he growled into your ear.
"I was just being nice. Please Dennis!"
"So nice for me baby" he kissed your cheek as you turned your face away from him. Through the kerfuffle you hadn't realized you both had moved away from the door. Your side hit the arm of the living room's couch and you found yourself tumbling over with Dennis landing on top of you.
Dennis snatched one of your wrist when you tried to slap him. Threading his fingers with yours like a lover, slowly moving it above your head. Your other hand tried to force him to fall over to the floor, but he refused to budge.
His other arm disappeared between your bodies, the further it sunk down your stomach tensed. You were useless against his determination. There was no out from under him.
Dennis swallowed your sobs, when his hand came dangerously close to your clit. Hot beads of tears streamed your face when  he grazed your mound. The tickle of his finger tips meticulously played with your folds, in an attempt to move away his fingers parted your lips. Sucking and kissing on your neck, you felt a fire begin to pool at his hand.
"You don't want to do this please" you sniffed, but he was too far gone. A long moan fell from your lips when his fingers finally plunged into you.
Dennis's digits curled and pumped, the friction feeding an unwanted need in your core. When you tried to protest again he devoured your mouth greedily.
"I'm gonna fill you up...Have you stuffed full of my cum." Dennis moaned over your mouth.
Your toes started to curl as your heat grew. You wanted him to stop, but a need weakened your resolve.
"That's it baby, I feel you want me too."
"Fuck" you panted out as you struggled to fight against him and yourself. Your juices coated him thoroughly, you bit back shame as he praised you for it. Mindlessly you gripped his shoulder  as your mounded tightened around him. Panting wildly you came on his fingers.
"That's it baby." He praised, slipping his fingers free which caused you to whimper shamefully. Your legs felt like jelly as you laid on the couch. Dennis hadn't moved, only lifting his hips to  unfastened his belt.
"No! No no please" you whined, pushing backwards on the couch cushion. Dennis snaked an arm behind your back, locking you in place as you pulled at his work shirt to get him off you.
The head of his cock swirled around your juices, pressing hard against your folds to blindly find your opening. "So wet just for me baby."
No matter which way your hips move the determined man found your slick folds. Wedged between your legs Dennis shuttered with delight as he pressed into you. His slow pressure stretched you as you continued to sob.
"So tight for me" he hummed. You hissed the deeper he sunk into you. Breathing heavily through the tightness while his hips rolled into you. The cheap couch groaned at the increase of activity. Dennis palmed your ass, gripping too tight as he fucked you into the couch.
His desperate kisses all over you felt like trails of fire. Your legs began to wrap and tighten around him as he thrusted relentlessly.
"Dennis.." You panted out as your need took over.
"Do you want to come for me?" he sounded as needy as you did.
"I haven't come in so long... Do you think you can handle it baby?" He taunted.
"Please" you say weakly.
"That's it I knew you needed me"
"Please Dennis." You begged as you dissolved into pleasure.
You were his new life he was sure of it. His cure and he was never letting you go.

Elvis Music Tag
Tumblr media
Thank you @bisexualwvtson for tagging me!! <3 I love this premise i'm so excited to answer!
I tag @powerofelvis @succsessions @loving-elvis @deke-rivers-1957 @aconflagrationofmyown
Last Elvis Song You Listened To: "Don't Be Cruel" from the first stand-up show for the 68 Comeback Special
Current Elvis Song Stuck In Your Head: King Creole!
Favorite Live Performance Moment: Sheesh it's so hard to just pick one moment. I'm a sucker for the 1970 vegas concert that was filmed for the That's The Way It Is movie. There's so many iconic moments in that. Like when he scares the Sweet Inspirations. And when he grabs hold of all the mics in his hand trying to find the one that works lol
Favorite Genre/Era You Like To Hear Elvis Sing Most: Well i'm listening to his music in chronological order, so I haven't delved a whole lot into his 70s stuff. I think my favorite so far has been his 50s music. The 60s were awesome however most of the albums he made in that time were his movie soundtracks and not a whole lot of studio albums. So, 50s for right now :)
Current Favorite Elvis Song (bc how can you pick!): Polk Salad Annie and Suspicious Minds have been on a constant loop for me for months!
Elvis Song You Tend To Skip: It's not too often i have to skip any of his songs. But I find myself skipping over gospel numbers and a lot of the cheesy slower ballads in favor of songs that have more rock elements and energy
What Kind Of Music Did You Listen To Before/Besides Elvis: I still listen to my other music aside from Elvis, so my music tastes haven't changed. Elvis is just apart of my daily listening :) but my taste is rock, indie, alternative, 90s, and some pop!
Are You Collecting Elvis' CD's, Cassette Tapes, 8-Tracks, or Records? I'm collecting vinyl! I'm not opposed to collecting his cds either, i have a large cd collection too. I just prefer to listen on vinyl. But if i'm out at a thrift store and i can only find his music on CD then i'm obviously going to buy it
Is There Any Other Music You've Started Listening To Because Of Elvis: I wouldn't really say so. I'm just more aware of his influences and i'm on the lookout for those people that he actually enjoyed listening to, and bands that were two-fold inspired by Elvis as well.
Last Live Performance You Were At: This was in 2019 before the pandemic. I went to see Hozier in Connecticut and it was amazing! The energy was off the charts
If You Could Have Been At Any Of Elvis' Live Performances, Which Would Choose: So i have three answers for this because I can't choose lol. First i would want to see him at his Louisiana Hayride debut. That would have been amazing. And then his 68 Comeback Special, obviously. Idk how much a ticket to see him for that show and be taped in the audience was, but i would have shelled out big money to see him up close in that leather fit. And then one of this many Vegas shows. Just to get the chance to be kissed by the man, and maybe get snuck backstage in his dressing room afterwards ;)

Tumblr media
You had met Duff in a coffee shop in LA. It was crowded and you were lucky enough to snag a chair before the lunch rush. Duff wasn't, and asked you if he could sit at your table.
You grew up with Guns n Roses, bought his solo album the day it came out when you were just 15, and now listened to Velvet Revolver faithfully. To see your idol, your celebrity crush stand right in front of you holding a cup of coffee and a scone sent you for a loop.
"Of course," you had said, starry eyed. You were only hoping he was as kind as the interviews made him out to be. Maybe have a conversation with you and be polite for a while before leaving and never seeing each you again. That would be good enough.
It didn't end with a coffee, it had just begun. He asked for your number, and you stared at him for a moment thinking you had imagined it. That was until he tilted his head a little and looked at you with a nervous expression. He backtracked and you immediately stopped him.
"No! I mean— yes! Yes, you can absolutely have my number." You scrambled for a pen and paper and ended up scratching your number on a receipt from the record store. You shook so hard you could barely get the numbers down.
Out of all the record store receipts you've stuffed into your bag, the one you gave Duff Mckagan had to be the one for when you bought Velvet Revolver's 'Contraband.' He didn't say anything, just smiled and promised to call.
You honestly didn't think he would've. You played it off as just him trying to be nice. It didn't stop you from answering every call you got for the next three days, however, even if you recognized the number as the tax collector you'd normally never answer.
     But then he called.
"I tried calling sooner, but I kept calling the wrong number. You don't have the most eligible handwriting," he had told you. You laughed but really, you were in shock.
You set up a date at the fancy restaurant downtown that always intimidated you. You didn't say anything though, even though you knew you wouldn't want any of the overpriced food and you'd end up eating something you couldn't pronounce and was two portions too small. Maybe even hit up a fast food joint afterwards.
When the day finally came, you couldn't even figure out what to wear. You couldn't tell if you looked underdressed or like you were trying too hard. Did the clothes even fit the right way? What would Duff think? Would he even care?
All questions were answered when you left your house. Duff was leaning against his slick car parked in your driveway, a button up that was barely buttoned and dress pants with boots. He stared at you and you wanted a hole in the ground to shallow you up until he smiles.
"You look gorgeous," he said. You blushed and grinned, thanking him before saying that he looked great too. He drove you to the restaurant and on the way, you talked about music.
You shared some of your favorites, he adored how well rounded you were. You liked pretty much everything from punk rock to the mellowest of mellow. Duff mentioned some of his favorites, some you made sure to remember the names of so you can check them out.
When the ride was over and you finally got to the restaurant, your previous fears came back. Duff reassured you looked better than 90% of the people there and you knew it wasn't true but it made you feel better anyway.
Your eyes widened to the size of saucers when you saw the prices of the food. You knew it'd be pricey but you thought there'd be more options that stayed within two digit numbers.
Duff saw your panicked expression and said not to worry, he'd pay. It didn't settle your nerves enough and when the waiter came, you ordered the cheapest and simplest thing you could find.
"Chicken noodle soup?" He teased. You shyly looked down and shrugged. "This isn't your scene, is it?"
     "Not exactly, no."
"Want me to be completely honest with you?" You nodded. "It's not mine either."
That's all it took for you and Duff to scramble sheepishly out of the restaurant. You both shared a laugh in the car and went to Burger King. It was much more your speed and, as you'd find out that night, Duff's too. You suppose all the money he's had since such a young age didn't completely change his ways. He was like a kid trapped in a 40 year old man's body.
You'd thought at first the age gap would feel strange, after all, you were 15 years younger than him. But after that night, it was barely noticeable. Funny looks from strangers every once in a while was nothing.
By the second date, Duff was already aware fancy spots weren't your forte. He told you it was a surprise and to wear something cozy, as LA nights got chilly.
He packed a picnic basket and drove you out to the most beautiful flower field you had ever seen at sunset. It was secluded and high up, giving a perfect view of the city skyline. After gawking and taking in the sights for a few moments, you regained your ability to speak.
"It's gorgeous. Pretty far from the city, did you take me here to kill me?" You joked. He laughed and rolled his eyes. His lighthearted laugh sent sparks straight to your heart, and you decided that it was your favorite sound.
You unfolded the blanket Duff brought and you both sat down. You ate the sandwiches and sliced fruit Duff packed and talked. You talked about everything, from your family to fears and insecurities.
You told him how you suffer from nightmares. Flashbacks from your broken childhood coming back to bite you in your sleep. Duff shared how he's suffered from panic attacks since he was a teenager. You felt you knew each other for years.
Neither of you felt weird for sharing and neither made the other insecure. You were completely open and honest with each other. It was strange, you've never connected to quickly and effortlessly with someone before. Sure, you've had men in your life, but never had you clicked with someone so fast, never had you fit with someone so perfectly.
Hours passed and it felt like minutes. Only did you realize how late and how exhausted you were when you saw most of the city buildings light have gone off for the night. The city that didn't sleep was dark.
"I should get you home," Duff said to you.
"Will you stay the night?" You felt a little silly for asking. Were things going too fast? Would he even want to stay over?
He agreed, and that's how your first night together went. You both stayed up even later and had more lighthearted conversations, unlike the ones that partook at the field. Like how one of Duff's first jobs was at a bakery and could bake a mean cake and how you can't cook to save your life.
You ended up waking up without remembering falling asleep. You're head was placed comfortably on Duff's lap while his head was lolled back against the couch cushion. He looked so serene and peaceful you couldn't help but smile at the sight.
You made toast and somewhat successfully cooked some eggs and bacon. It might have been the first breakfast in years that didn't end with the smoke alarm going off.
Duff eventually wandered into the kitchen and you both ate. By the time he left, another date was already set up. He was like a drug an you were already hooked.
Months later and the addiction still wasn't kicked. You didn't want to, and Duff didn't seem to want you to quit either. You both soaked each other up like the sun on a warm day.
You had almost weekly dates and you stayed over each other's houses almost every other day. Duff did have his kids some days, though, so some days dates were cut short or Grace and Mae slept over his house and you wouldn't see each other.
You were always understanding, his kids came first and you'd never blame or get upset about it. It's something Duff admires about you, your never ending understanding and empathy for him.
One of those days where Duff stayed over at your house started normal. He cooked dinner and you washed the dishes, and then you put on an old Ramones concert you had on DVD.
You were laying on his chest, his fingers running through your hair when all of a sudden, he tensed up. He quickly stood and excused himself to the bathroom. You frowned but before you could think much of it, you heard a loud bang and something clatter to the ground.
You jumped up and rushed to the bathroom. You swung open the door because you were perfectly aware the lock hasn't worked since you moved in.
Duff was sitting on the floor, a pill bottle laying on its side not far from him. You quickly spot the name of the medication and identified it as your anti-anxiety pills. You shoved them aside and sat next to Duff.
He was sweating bullets and his skin felt cold and clammy, his breaths were labored and heartbeat was loud and pounding erratically. You coax him gently to take deep breaths, holding onto his hand tightly and talking quietly.
"I'm sorry, they come on randomly sometimes," he apologized after he'd called down, but you quickly shushed him. You reminded him of just how many nightmares he'd comforted you for and he stops feeling so bad about it.
It was always a true partnership with Duff. Never had you felt you gave or took too much, it was always equal. Always a two way street, with everything.
That wasn't the last panic attack you had to help him come down from. Later down the line you've gotten better at calming him down and learning his triggers, even though sometimes they really do come on suddenly without reason.
A year into the relationship was when you met Grace and Mae. They were young and didn't completely understand why their parents weren't together anymore, so it took them a while to warm up to you. Luckily, they eventually came around.
Duff and Susan met up regularly to discuss their kids and co-parent properly. And while you had all the reason to be jealous of your boyfriend with his ex wife, you never did. You had complete confidence in him, he was honest and loyal and you doubted he'd ever hurt you purposely.
That's why it destroyed you when he left you. Tears were shed from both parties as he gave his reasons for breaking up with you. His insecurities he tried his best to bury had come to light and nothing could change his mind.
You thought you were completely honest with each other, but you suppose his doubt in his relationship with you was the one thing he kept secret. He had somehow convinced himself you'd be better without him, between the constant touring and the baggage that came with him and his kids, he finally buckled under the weight and stress.
You had tried to convince him that he was worth it, but if Duff is one thing it's stubborn. The best relationship you'd ever have and the best year of your life went down the drain within the matter of one conversation.
You were down in the dumps for days. You barely left your bed and didn't ever leave your house. You were in a depression and couldn't get out. A few of your friends eventually found out what had happened and broke into your house and shoved you into the shower before taking you to your favorite Chinese restaurant.
You felt like a disaster. Your hair was ratted despite the shower and you refused to put real clothes on, instead wearing sweatpants and a shirt Duff had left behind. You were a mess.
The hole in the wall restaurant was never busy but always had the best food. You were almost happy your friends dragged you out of your home until you saw Duff sitting at a table, eating egg rolls and lo mein.
You've came here together all the time. The high sodium in the food always made him sick to his stomach and you'd always end up giving him nausea remedies and tea. He never changed his order though.
You locked eyes with him for a while. Dark bags were under his eyes and he looked more pale than usual. He looked as terrible as you felt. You weren't sure if you were spitefully glad he felt awful or if the despair on his face just made your heart break further.
When you couldn't take his intense jade stare anymore, you looked up at the menu. The next time you looked back he was gone, you weren't sure if he was really there at all or if you were finally losing your mind for good.
Another week crawled by. You got better enough to continue working. You had to pick up extra time for calling out for a few days after the breakup. You wouldn't say things were going well, but you weren't crying in bed every day all day anymore.
You had constant dreams about him. Some were nice, ones where he didn't leave and you were together, holding each other tightly. Most were nightmares, flashbacks of when he left. You didn't have him to comfort you anymore when you woke up soaked in sweat and tears, and that might've been the worst.
Another week went by, and you were starting to get back into the swing of things. You still thought about him, even silly little things reminded you of him. Like when you would catch a sniff of freshly baked sweets like he'd bake you or certain songs playing on the radio. It also didn't help that you ran into people wearing Guns n Roses shirts on the daily.
You also refused to get rid of anything he'd left behind. Tee shirts, guitar picks he left from when he'd play for you, or CDs from bands he introduced you to. Reminders of what you lost were scattered around your home but you couldn't bring yourself to do anything about it.
Suddenly, it's been a month. You weren't over him, but you had a feeling you'd never be completely. He was something special, you can't forget things as special as your relationship with Duff.
His items still weren't thrown out or returned, instead all packed in a box sitting in your closet. But you'd be lying if you said you would never reach into the box to grab a shirt to sleep in or a CD to listen to when you needed a reminder of the good times. You were making progress though.
You decided to leave your house one evening. You were feeling especially terrible and wanted to take a walk to clear your head. You went to the coffee shop you had first met Duff in. Maybe it was a mistake to go and get a flood of memories but you couldn't stop yourself.
You sat in a seat near the window and people watched, taking occasional sips of your drink. It was quiet except from the talk of the workers and the hum of the overhead speakers.
There was a sudden squeak of a chair of hardwood floors and it broke you out of your daze. You snapped your gaze up to meet the very familiar green eyes you've been trying to forget.
"Can we talk?" He asked, and you couldn't say 'no.' Duff sat across from you and started off by apologizing.
He said he wanted to talk to you sooner, but was too afraid you wouldn't want anything to do with him. You rolled your eyes at that, if only he knew just how much you missed him.
He then started from the beginning and explained why he made the decision to leave you. As it turns out, it was mostly because of stress. His bandmate Scott was having problems with drugs and the flashbacks from his GnR days frightened him. He was worried he would end up relapsing and he didn't want to drag you down with him.
Combine that with all the troubles that came with dating a single father, and he couldn't take it anymore. He felt too guilty.
It all seemed like ridiculous reasons to you. Even if he had made the mistake of falling off the wagon, you still would've stuck with him. And you didn't mind his kids at all, after nearly a year of knowing them and you were very close to them.
"I love you, Duff. I wouldn't have left you over that, I'd help you through anything. And I love Grace and Mae, too," you told him.
"I know, but I didn't want you to have to deal with all that baggage." You frowned at that. You reached your hand across the table and grasped his, squeezing it tenderly.
     "You're worth it."
After that day, you and Duff started seeing each other again. It wasn't the same as before, but maybe even better.
You were more transparent with each other. If one had a worry or problem, you'd go to the other. You talked everything through with him and he did the same. Even if it seemed insignificant, talking everything through never failed to make it better.
You were happier and healthier than ever before. Sure, there were a roadblock or two, but they only made the relationship even stronger, and you wouldn't have changed a thing about it.

102. “Don’t cover you’re face, i want to see you” hi it’s me again lol 😂😅😅 but can you do Tuck Hansen for this short Drabble plz?? I loved the Alfie Drabble and I was hoping to see one of Tuck he really deserves so much love but thank you and I can’t wait to see what you have in store😍🥰💕
You loved your job more than anything,
Except for right now.
Your boss dropped a case file on your desk early that morning, you were assigned to an Italian mob boss's son, he had been embezzling funds from his multi-mullion dollar company and is being investigated for a few other heavy charges. Your job was to get close to him, undercover.
Undercover assignments were incredible, you flourished on the field and loved bringing in the scum of the earth, but this time it was different.
The target in question was difficult to get close too, so your mission was to act as an exotic dancer at the club he frequented. Much to your relief, the recording gear and cameras weren't small enough to fit inside the lingerie the girls are required to wear, so your boss settled for you being a waitress.
You were called into the disguise department to be fitted for your undercover work. On the way there Tuck and FDR intercepted you in the hallway. They were also put on the case as intelligence since the target knew every man in his posse, Tuck and FDR wouldn't be able to blend in the way you could.
"Sup Miss Congeniality! Ready to try on some slutty panties for us?" FDR teased, nudging your shoulder. You shoved him playful and scoffed.
"In your dreams. I'm not wearing lingerie dumbass, can't hide our goodies that way." You shrugged. FDR laughed.
"I can think of some good spots to hide them in." He chirped. Tuck groaned at the same time you did.
"Seriously? Gross, man." Tuck complained. You laughed a bit too hard. You had always had a crush on Tuck, but he wouldn't go for you in a million years. Your hair was always messy, clothes baggy and unflattering, and crazily low self esteem. Basically you barely passed the work appropriate dress code. Your teen years were spent studying the law and training in martial arts, not playing with makeup.
The three of you entered the disguise department and went your separate ways, Tuck and FDR needed to be fitted for undercover as well, they were going to be telephone repair men. The van and jumpsuits would disguise them while they surveyed the outside of the club.
After a painful two hours of waxing, blow drying, constricting outfits, and heavy makeup, you were finally ready. Tuck and FDR stood in the garage, Tuck leaning against the van yawning, FDR pacing in front of him, both becoming anxious and ready for action.
"Holy. Shit." FDR sputtered out. Tuck looked at his friend questionably before noticing what caught his attention.
There you stood, looking away and rubbing your arm. Tuck looked at you from head to toe, at a loss for words. You wore black heels, fishnet stockings, leather shorts that could pass as underwear, and a matching bralette. The hair and makeup was gorgeous too, but he always thought you were gorgeous, he just never knew you had a body.
"That's what I'm talking about! Finally! Some skin! Where the hell have you been hiding? Christ! You look like you know Victoria's Secret with those tit-" Tuck punched FDR in the stomach before he could finish. The pair shared a look before FDR huffed and got in the van, giving Tuck and you some privacy.
"You look beautiful." Tuck spoke. You scoffed.
"Yeah, because I'm wearing makeup and my ass is hanging out." You grumbled. Tuck's eyes widened.
"No! Well, I'm not complaining about those things, but it doesn't change the fact that I always think you look beautiful." Tuck spoke. You looked down and felt your face flush. Tuck stepped up to you and tilt your head to face him.
"Don't cover your face, I want to see you. I love this look on you the same way I love every other look. I just didn't have the balls to tell you until FDR started to finally realize how breathtaking you are. We've fought over girls before, it never goes well." Tuck explained. You smiled.
"I don't want FDR, Tuck." You spoke, barely above a whisper. Tuck gently pecked your lips, it was quick but electric.
"After you kick some criminal ass tonight, we are putting on our ugliest jammies and ordering a pizza. My treat, we'll have our official first date on my couch." Tuck said with a smile.
"Deal."

The Skateboarder
Female reader x Female orc (Morn)
Citrus rating: Lemon
Content: brief alcohol, stupid memes
Words: 9k
Morn reached between the legs of some intertwined partygoers, retrieved a beer from the strategically placed cooler, then opened it on the strike plate of the living room door. Some of it foamed out and fell on the carpet with the bottle cap but she didn't seem to care. The owners of the sorority house didn't care either.
"...so yeah, she said I stank and got up and left." Morn finished her tale of an attempted one-night stand.
"She didn't even touch you yet?" You asked, leaning in close so she could hear you over the thumping music. As was usual for parties like these, you and Morn had carved out a corner where you could be ignored by everyone else and gossip.
"Well, yeah, but not below the belt. That's what pissed me off. She was all over me all night and as soon as I say I want her to go down on me, she insults me and leaves."
"I mean..." you grinned, unable to resist, "did you stink down there, though?"
Morn punched your shoulder and chuckled.
"Fuck off, it's not like roses and daffodils are the norm. You know, it's like I always say..." It was Morn's turn to grin mischievously.
"Don't fucking say it. I swear to God, Morn. I'm going to laugh really hard and everyone's going to look at me weird. " You pleaded. You knew what would come next; Morn's favorite turn of phrase that she managed to use more often than one would think.
"—like I always say, good pussy smells like the heat coming out of the PS4."
You were true to your word. As you caught your breath between peals of laughter, a few partygoers did in fact stare at you. Despite your prior protests, the stares didn't bother you that much. Here in Morn's gossip corner, all that mattered was whiling the time away until the other half of your group was ready to leave. Dera's whereabouts were unknown but Lash was visible in the corner of the room.
"Looks like Lash's plan is all coming together." You noted. Morn turned to look as well; she was aggressively making out with an Elf boy. He licked her tusks. You grimaced.
"Goddamn. When Lash wants something she gets it."
"She mentioned that guy... what, like, yesterday?" You asked. "From staring at him across the classroom to heavy petting in less than twenty-four hours. That's a new record."
"Makes me feel like I'm not even the same species," Morn complained, finally turning away from Lash's public display of affection. "I know Orc boldness is a stereotype but it's not one I'd mind living up to."
"That's not Orc boldness, that's Lash boldness," you chortled. "Don't be down on yourself for not having it. Besides, she's not looking for a one-night deal; if that Elf doesn't call her back tomorrow she's gonna have her week ruined."
"I guess that's true..." Morn sighed.
"Morn." You firmly squeezed her shoulder and stared at her. "I love Lash to death, but you've never called me at three in the morning crying over the end of a week-and-a-half-long relationship. It's okay to not be dating a new person all the time."
"Yeah, I know." She finished her beer and smiled a bit.
"Besides, if you were hunting down an object of desire every time we were at a party, I'd have no one to chill with. Morn's Gossip Corner is the only thing getting me out of the dorm on Friday nights."
"I'm glad to be of service." She dramatically saluted. "You're right, though. I guess it's just the party atmosphere that makes me forget sleeping around and dating have drawbacks."
"Definitely the party vibe getting to you," you affirmed. "Speaking of sleeping around, though... where's Dera?"
"If I had to guess, upstairs. Text her." Morn suggested.
You pulled out your phone and opened the group chat, aptly titled "THA HOOLIGANZ 👩‍💻👩‍✈️👩‍⚕️🕵️‍♀️" and sent a message:
You: dera where tf are u, its almost been an hour
Almost immediately the indicator that Dera was typing popped up, followed by her reply:
Dera: upstairs. firbolg football player. huge 🍆
"Oh, god." You gagged. Morn pulled out her phone in response to see the cause, then had a similar reaction. She started tapping away at her phone's keyboard.
Morn: damn, dera, chill. we just wanted to make sure you were ok.
The typing indicator preceded yet another reply from Dera.
Dera: lol ok mom
"She's got an attitude tonight, sheesh." Morn shook her head and put her phone away.
"I think tonight an early exit might be a good idea. Dera and Lash seem pretty occupied," you said. You couldn't find Lash or her Elven paramour in the room anymore.
"I think you're right. Text the group and tell 'em we're leaving."
You nodded and did so, receiving 👍 responses from both Dera and Lash after a short pause.
"Let's go." You got up from your place on the sunken-in couch and helped Morn up. The two of you navigated through the fire code-violating sorority house to the front door, where you met the cool night air and the odor of cigarettes. Morn's skateboard was next to yours, propped against the thick trunk of a long-dead tree.
"I don't wanna go back to the dorms yet. It's not that late," Morn said, checking her watch.
"Pizza?" You suggested.
"Pizza."
Before long you were both skating into the night. The entire university town was built into the side of a mountain with the greek life houses at the top, making it a breeze to fashionably exit parties like this one. There were a few drunken revelers to dodge on the way down, but once you cleared the sororities and fraternities it was smooth skating. The incandescent streetlights flew past as century-old houses gave way to newer corner stores and parks. Before long, you and Morn were skating through the thick of the city on a course set for Main Street.
The pleasant sound of plastic wheels on stamped concrete was soon married with the aroma of cheap, indulgent pizza. You wouldn't have needed any senses other than smell to know you arrived at your destination: "Get Stuffed," the type of place where a slice was a dollar and you could write on the walls. As was usual for the time when Friday became Saturday, it was packed with the university crowd; too packed to even sit inside.
You and Morn shimmied to the counter and ordered your usuals. Fortunately, Get Stuffed had nailed speedy service and it was only a few short moments before you were on your way out with greasy pizza on flimsy paper plates. You set your skateboards on the curb and sat on them, side-by-side.
"Thanks for fleeing with me," Morn said, folding her slice of pizza and tucking her loose black curls behind her ear.
"Anytime, Morn." You mimicked her pizza fold before noticing something about the beanie she wore. It was oddly familiar, so you delayed your first bite. "Hey, where's that beanie from?" Morn looked at you, chewing.
"This thing?" She tugged at the chunky burgundy yarn. "You should know."
"I should know?" You mused, finally chewing on your first bite of pizza. It was just as greasy and gratifying as you expected it to be. Then, as realization dawned on you, it almost fell out of your mouth. "You kept that thing for this long?!"
"Of course. It's a good beanie. It's lasted... what, since second grade?" She smirked. "It's one of the best birthday gifts I've gotten. Thanks, by the way."
"Thank you for holding onto it," you countered. "The memories... wow."
"That was the birthday party where we had a sleepover afterward. We played tag, and—"
"Oh, no," you moaned, remembering.
"...you ran so hard that you threw up." Morn giggled. Your cheeks still burned at the vivid memory. You almost forgot crocheting Morn's beanie, but you never forget throwing up at someone's birthday party.
"It's crazy we've been friends for so long." You gracefully changed the subject and started working on your pizza slice in earnest.
"It's not that crazy. You've always been there for me."
"I mean... I try..." you were hiding your blush, feeling warm as Morn readied to shower you with compliments.
"Like the time Chrissie Becker rejected my invitation to prom. You started crying when I started crying, and I hadn't even told you what happened yet." Morn giggled warmly. "Or when our families went camping together and you let me share your sleeping bag when I forgot mine."
"I couldn't just let you sleep on the ground!" you sheepishly defended yourself against the flattery.
"Even though you knew I kicked in my sleep." Morn looked up from her plate and smiled at you, her tusks glinting under the streetlights.
"You're more important to me than my shins," you said quietly.
"Hah!" Morn laughed heartily, bumping her skateboard into yours and wrapping an arm around you. "You're more important to me than my shins."
In Morn's embrace there on the sidewalk, you melted. She had such a way of effortlessly making you feel safe and loved. She had been there for you as well several times and was damn good at it. You enjoyed the feeling so much that you just sat there quietly until she got a little worried.
"Hey, did I tease you too much?" Her wry grin had been replaced with a slight frown and sympathetic brow.
"No, no..." you reassured her, savoring the dreamy feeling. "It's all good. I'm glad you're here with me. I'm glad we're... friends," you stumbled a bit over the last word.
"Me too," she gave your shoulder a little squeeze.
You both finished your pizza in silence, enjoying each others' side and the ambiance of the city street. After a moment you both tossed the greasy plates into a trash can and skateboarded back to the dorms. The courtyard was where your paths diverged, and after bidding one another goodnight and farewell, you parted. You shared your bed that night with a familiar feeling. Embarrassment, shame, and maybe even guilt. All for the way your heart skipped a beat when she put an arm around you, or the unstoppable smile when she recounted her memories of you. You weren't super familiar with love, at least not in the way Lash and Dera were, but the way Morn made you feel in recent months was more than simple friendship. You agonized over the thought that she wouldn't return those feelings. It was a miracle you managed to sleep at all.
Saturday morning arrived, and with it, a text. You groggily pulled your phone into bed with you to read it after rubbing the sleep from your eyes. It was from THA HOOLIGANZ.
Dera: hey sorry about my sass last nite. i figured y'all left early and that's cool, i was kinda doing my own thing anyway
Lash: LOL sameeee. anyway, does anyone want to meet up for coffee or something? i’d rather be hungover around you guys than my parents 😭
You considered the offer; it would be nice to actually see Lash and Dera after missing them last night. Your moment on the curb with Morn still bothered you, and a distraction from that would be nice.
You: im down, where u wanna go
Dera: u know that cute little cafe on that corner? main street i think?? the one thats literally 100% pink???
Morn: you're thinking of tokidoki cafe! i'm down to go, that’s my spot!
You sighed. This outing wouldn't be very good for distracting you from Morn if Morn was seated across from you.
Dera: thats the one. lets gooooooo
Lash: yes. literally right now. start running
Morn: thanks, but I think I'll skate there. see y'all in a bit
You: same
The morning air was crisp and cool in the way spring mornings always were. It was a shame Lash and Dera were too busy downing aspirin and chugging water to truly enjoy it. Your skateboard served you well as a means of transport on mornings like this; you and your friends were the rare few students who didn't usually sleep in on Saturdays, so you enjoyed the empty sidewalks. The soft plastic wheels gripped the concrete well enough to accommodate any street corners.
The cafe was 100% pink, as promised. The sweet, pillowy smell of crepes mingled with the robust aroma of coffee and met you as you hopped off your skateboard. The tiny size of the place made it easy to tell you were the first to arrive. You ordered the latte-crepe combo that took up the most space on the menu and sat while you waited. You were idly scrolling through your phone when you heard the rhythmic thumping of a skateboard wheels on slabs of sidewalk.
She looked painfully good as she stepped through the cafe's front door. The morning sun made her long black hair golden around the edges and she still wore that damn beanie. Her tusks poked out from her smiling lips when her eyes met yours. Illuminated by sunbeams, her well-toned arm showed every muscle and vein as she gripped her skateboard by the trucks to carry it in.
"Good morning!" she beamed at you. The employee behind the counter smiled at her knowingly.
"The usual, Morn?" he asked.
"Yep!" She quickly answered before sitting across from you, the pins on her denim jacket jingling. "You got here quickly."
"Yeah..." you answered weakly, your conversational skills still recovering from the way Morn held you last night.
"You weren't drinking last night, were you? You alright?" Of course, Morn immediately picked up that something was the matter. It would be stranger if she didn't.
"I'm fine. Where are Lash and Dera?" You deflected. As if on cue, your phone buzzed. THA HOOLIGANZ chimed in.
Lash: lol srry, throwing up. cant make it
Dera: yeah same.
"Unbelievable. Those girls can't seem to show up anywhere lately." Morn had a slightly disapproving tone. She tapped away on her phone.
Morn: this is going on your attendance sheet
Lash: see u in detention, dera
Dera: enjoy your crepes you two!
You chuckled at the exchange.
"That's more like it. I like when you smile." Morn chimed in. "Do more of that."
The waiter saved you from needing to respond by stopping at your table with your orders. A steaming, folded crepe landed before you covered in a sauce just as pink as the rest of the cafe. A warm latte arrived with it and you wrapped your hands around the warm mug. It soothed you a little.
"Morn..." you began, not quite sure what you were going to say. Was this it? Were you going to lay your feelings on the table right here, right now?
"What is it? You can tell me anything." Morn leaned in over the table. "I can tell something's been bothering you lately."
You opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out. You didn't even know how to begin; should you preface it with an apology? Some sort of explanation or disclaimer?
"I don't even know if I can tell you. Like, if I can get the words out," you said before sipping your latte. You savored the taste, hoping the espresso would ground you somehow. At the very least you wouldn't be expected to talk with your mouth full.
"There's no rush. I just... I want to help. I've known you long enough that I'm sure there's something I can do." Morn hadn't even touched her crepe yet.
"Let's just, um, eat." You answered.
"Good idea. I'm sure you'll feel like yourself once you've eaten and the coffee starts kicking in." Morn nodded to herself, cutting open her fruit-filled crepe. You similarly started to work on yours. The two of you ate in silence and, for a moment, you did feel better. Fully focusing on the aromas, flavors, and textures of your breakfast stilled your trembling hands. The slightest bit of confidence grew within you halfway through the meal.
"I... um..." the words slowly formed in your mouth. Morn paused, setting down her fork and knife and looking at you intently. "I fell in love. With someone I don't think I should be in love with."
Morn listened but said nothing. She was thinking.
"How do you know it's love?"
"What?" you asked.
"How do you know it's not just a crush? Or, you know, lust?" Morn inquired. You considered the question carefully. Memories of platonic cuddles, impromptu sleepovers, and late-night conversations with Morn came to mind.
"It's love because it's lasted way longer than any crush. I trust this person, and they trust me. I'm not like Lash, pining for the new guy from across the classroom; I know this person really well."
"I see." She paused again. "Why would it be bad to love them? Wouldn't a good history make a romantic relationship easier?"
"Only if they felt the same way..." you sighed and nestled your head in your elbows.
"Ah, right..." Morn looked sheepish. "Well, personally—and I do mean personally, so it might not apply to them—if I had a long-time friend that I had feelings for, I would just tell them."
"Really?" Your eyes widened.
"I mean, yeah. If I and this person had such a long history of trust, then I would trust them to still be friends with me afterward if they didn't feel the same way. I'm sure it would be awkward for a while, but I really don't think it would be, you know... destructive or anything."
More memories came to you. More times where you felt completely open and vulnerable with Morn, and when she did with you. Times when you comforted each other and shared secrets under blanket forts and playground swings and gymnasium bleachers. Words formed inside your mouth, desperate to make themselves known to the world. Perhaps now would become another one of these memories. You'd look back on it in the future and remember the smell of pink crepes in the pink cafe.
"Morn... I have these feelings for you. I'm talking about you."
You fought the urge to cover your mouth, and you didn't stutter or stammer in the slightest. Though working up the courage was difficult, letting the words go was one of the easiest things you had ever done. Morn didn't react much; an eyebrow rose slowly as she finished chewing. The silence was agonizing.
"I'm happy you trust me enough to share that with me," Morn said calmly. You wanted to shout that's all?! but held your tongue. She took a sip of her latte, clearly in no rush to say more.
"So..." you began, well and truly lost. All your effort had gone into mustering courage and now you had nothing left. Even your anxiety and worry had gone, and you were strangely content, though eager, to hear Morn speak.
"So..." Morn parroted, "does that mean you want to... you know, date me? Like, romantic dates, not besties dates. Kissing dates."
Again, your impulses screamed duh!
"Um, yeah..." you said sheepishly, rubbing the back of your neck. "I'd like that, but... only if you'd like that too."
She sipped her latte again, still calm.
"You know, over the years, I've imagined what we would be like if we were romantic with each other. Like, girlfriend-girlfriends. How could I not? We've known each other for so long."
You nodded, bidding her speak more.
"I never knew you wanted that. I can't imagine how you felt; I could tell something was wrong but I couldn't figure out what." Morn set the mug and her cutlery down, intentionally and warmly looking you in the eye. "I think...
You didn't even breathe.
"I think we should give it a shot." Morn smiled widely. "Does that sound good to you?"
"Yes, yes it does," you finally drew breath. If Morn was feeling a similar tumult of emotions that you were, she was hiding it considerably well. Morn wiped her lips and tusks with a napkin and got up from the table.
"Well, I've got to visit mom and pops tonight, but we've still got Sunday tomorrow. How about we have our first real date then?"
"Uh, sure!" You sat there, dumbfounded. Was it really going to be this easy?
"Cool. I'll let you pick where we go, just like most of our... non-date hangouts," she said, turning to the cashier. She gestured widely to the table. "Put it all on my tab."
"You have a crepe tab?"
Morn chuckled. Making her way to the door, the sunlight caught her hair and skin deliciously.
"I'm a regular. Anyway," she grabbed her skateboard, "see you tomorrow?"
"See you tomorrow." You answered. She gave you one last toothy grin and stepped out before gliding out of sight, disappearing past the edge of the window. You rested your chin in your hands and sighed like a lovestruck teenager in a coming-of-age movie. Before long, your window-gazing session was interrupted by an employee.
"All done, ma'am?" he asked politely.
"Uh, yes. Sorry, I was spacing out."
"No, it's all good. Thanks for coming by, and if you don't mind me saying..." he looked somewhat pensive.
"What?"
"Don't tell Morn I said this since she's proven that she could snap me in half like a twig, but... speaking as the crepe guy she visits several times a week, I think she's a good match for you."
"But you've never met me before. Maybe once or twice, but—"
"She's told me all about you. All good things, don't worry. It's less about you and more about how Morn talks about you. She gushes when she mentions you, seriously." He paused awkwardly then started to clean up the table. "I've said too much."
"No, thank you," you said. "It's good to know."
"Glad I could help. Anyway... um, thanks for coming in." He waved at you as you got up and left. You nodded and made your exit.
Back at your dorm, you couldn't decide if you wanted to pace or lay in bed and kick your legs. You had so much energy inside you, trapped. It was equally nervous and thrilling. You wondered how Morn kept herself so well composed; something in the back of your mind nagged at you, wondering if it was because she didn't really feel that strongly for you. Enough, you thought to yourself. Morn was your best friend for almost as long as you could remember. She wouldn't toy with you like that. Hell, she explained her entire thought process on the topic before you even confessed to her.
You decided to pace to distract yourself. Those thoughts weren't helpful. Right now you had to choose a place for your first officially non-platonic date. It was never this hard to pick a place to hang out with Morn before...
Then, an idea. It sprung into your mind out of nowhere, and it just felt right. You made sure that the place was open on Sunday, checked the ticket prices... it was perfect. You readied your phone to text Morn the details... but Lash had already sent you a private message. You opened the notification.
Lash: yo how did crepes go?? sorry i no-showed
Your brow furrowed a bit. Lash's random interest was a bit strange, even more so since she was hungover. A dehydrated, vomiting Lash was bedridden for a good half-day in your experience.
You: the cafe was cool! the crepes were good
Unsure if you should be forthcoming about your new development with Morn, you figured they could find out tomorrow once your first "real date" was underway. A change like that would likely be a big deal in your friend group, so a text message wouldn't do the announcement justice anyway.
Lash: how's Morn?
You: shes fine? did something happen??
Lash: no lol, just wondering lol
Two "lol" in one text? You wanted to indulge your suspicions and investigate further, but you decided to leave it at that. You had a date to arrange.
You: still at your parents' place?
Morn: yeah, I'll be back in town tomorrow though
You: k, cool. does meeting at the aviary at 2pm work?
Morn: yeah definitely! what made you pick the aviary?
You: idk if you remember, it was so long ago, but it was the first school field trip we went on as friends
There was a pause as Morn's typing bubble hovered on your screen.
Morn: 😭OMG YOURE SO CUTE IM GONNA CRY😭
Morn: i cant wait to see you tomorrow!!!
You: me too 💕
Your phone landed on your bed with a thump and that nervous energy returned with a vengeance. More pacing, more leg-kicking, even some giggles. This situation felt both extremely real and like a scene from a movie; you never imagined this sort of thing happened in real life, especially in yours. Against all previous expectations, things were going fine. It was thrilling, scary, and made your heart race, but it was going fine. The homework you had to do took a back seat to your excited daydreaming and scheming about tomorrow. You thought about how you would greet her, how you would hug, if and how you would go for a kiss, walking while holding her hand... predictably, sleeping that night was incredibly difficult.
In the morning, you finally executed the plans you fantasized about prior. You decided to err on the side of being overdressed, picking an outfit that wasn't formal but still a little more special than what you would usually wear. You showered, brushed your teeth, swished some mouthwash, and even flossed! Breath mints, a small assortment of Morn's favorite snacks, and an extra water bottle found their way into your bag. If you were going to overthink, then you would take advantage and be overprepared as well. Squeaky clean, dressed to impress, and with a heftier bag than usual, you skateboarded down to the aviary intent on arriving ten minutes early.
The journey was uneventful save for your steadily increasing heart rate. By the time you were waiting for her by the entrance gate, you were fully flustered. You stood still with a kind smile on your face, but anything more complex would have been asking too much of you. The mental rehearsal in your mind's eye ran over and over again: smile, say hi, hug. Smile, say hi, hug. These were all things you had done with Morn before, but with platonic intent instead of this newfound "why not?" intimacy. With how calm and composed Morn had appeared throughout this whole process, you felt as if you were at a disadvantage somehow. You worried in a juvenile sort of way that she was too cool for you.
The way she pulled up to the aviary in her car didn't help that worry at all. Her ride, an old, angular, black thing that roared like a beast, was her pride and joy. She had practically built the thing herself with the number of parts she swapped out of it. It was fully manual and she had the skills to maneuver it gracefully into the parking space. Out from it stepped your actual, honest-to-god, bonafide date.
She smiled at you and your brain melted. You held up a hand in a sort of mellow wave, offering a faint grin. By the time she closed the distance, your simple three-step plan was gone with the wind. Luckily she also decided that greeting with a hug was the correct choice and you were in her embrace quickly. You paused before realizing you should probably return the gesture and wrap your arms around her as well.
"It's so good to see you! You look great," she said, pulling away and looking you over.
"You too..." you breathed, taking your own chance to get a proper look. Her outfit was just as sleek and dark as her car: a pair of black jeans with accompanying boots, a matching leather jacket, and of course, that classic burgundy beanie to top it off.
"Shall we?" She extended a green, competent hand to you. She wasn't wearing her driving gloves today, which was good for your composure; otherwise, you would have well and truly swooned. You accepted her grasp and she gave your hand a firm squeeze before strolling with you to the ticket booth. Thanks to your student IDs, you got in with discounted admission.
The aviary itself was fairly large, and on this particular Sunday, you and Morn practically had the place to yourselves. Other than the idle chatter of a few other scattered visitors, there was only the sound of wind in the leaves and bird calls. The two of you meandered between the exhibits, chatting but not about much in particular. Instead, you were simply content to enjoy each other's company and look at the birds. The birds liked looking at you, too; at one point a pair of free-roaming peacocks followed you and Morn around the aviary.
"Looks like it's a double date," Morn quipped, gesturing to the two plumy birds. They were both mostly brown and lacking the massive, fan-shaped tails.
"They're a pair of girls too. Male peacocks are the ones with the crazy feathers," you noted.
"It's almost like having Lash and Dera tagging along." Morn chuckled. "In fact, if they keep failing to show up these birds would make good replacements."
You looked at the two peacocks, who had started preening each other's feathers.
"Do you think they're besties or girlfriends?" You playfully asked. "That's some pretty intense preening."
"Maybe they're both, like us." Morn wrapped an arm around you and offered you her shoulder. You melted again. "If you had feathers, I'd be preening you right now."
"If I knew how to return that compliment, I would." You said, deliciously rattled by her closeness and warmth.
"I have an idea... if you're cool with it." Morn kept holding you close, turning to make eye contact with you. You faced her and realized how close you were. Trapped in her gaze, you couldn't speak. You gave a faint nod.
The first thing you felt was her tusks on your cheeks. They met the corners of your mouth, pressing gently just before her lips met yours. In reality, the kiss was a quick peck. In your mind, time froze. You could no longer hear the birds calling or wind blowing, only the sound of your heart beating like a drum and a feeling like fire in your chest. Morn pulled away from the kiss with a sheepish smile.
"Sorry if my tusks poked you. I'm still getting the hang of that."
"Hey, practice makes perfect, right?" you let slip with a suaveness that surprised even you. Morn's eyes widened in surprise before she let out a hearty laugh.
"That's the spirit!" She cheered, squeezing you hard. "I'm gonna hold you to it, so be aware: I'm gonna kiss you a bunch more before we're out of here."
"That's fine by me." You couldn't do anything else but giggle. Morn gave you another peck immediately after, angling her head a bit so her tusks didn't have such a lead on her lips. Your first kiss with Morn was perfect as far as you were concerned, but this second one was a bit more graceful.
"Better?" she asked.
"Better."
Your stroll through the aviary continued in this fashion: chatting about this and that, generally gushing about each other and punctuated by more quick kisses. It was strange to have a first date with someone that you knew so well, but you weren't complaining in the slightest. Each kiss felt natural and fun, not nerve-wracking and awkward as in the dates of your past. Before all this, you scoffed at yourself for wishing that there was a switch you could toggle to go from best friends to girlfriends, but so far it seemed to work precisely like that.
To the sound of your giggling, the sun was poised to set soon. The aviary closed early because it was Sunday, and you found yourself with Morn leaning against the gleaming hood of her car. You saw your reflection in it, the two of you framed by the orange sky. She came to your side, attaching to you like a magnet.
"It's probably time we headed home, huh?" she suggested.
"Yeah, probably," you replied reluctantly. "I almost don't want it to end."
"It doesn't have to." Morn smiled. "Did you really think I'd kiss you goodnight and leave you on the curb?"
You giggled. That would certainly be the plan for a first date with a stranger, but this was Morn.
"You could come by and hang out with me in my dorm for a bit?" she asked.
"I'd love to." You answered. Her dorm building and yours were right next to each other, after all. She stood up from the hood of her car and opened the passenger side door, offering the seat to you. Not long after stowing your skateboard in the trunk, you were cruising through the city streets bound for the university. Morn's focus made the ride a smooth one, her hands expertly gripping the steering wheel and gear shifter. She wore a focused but pleased expression as she deftly maneuvered the growling vehicle.
"Oh!" Her concentration broke. "We should get food! We haven't eaten at all."
Tires squealed as she veered right, making a turn she wasn't expecting to make. You gripped your armrest and giggled. The engine roared and, within moments, delivered you to a drive-through whose location Morn seemed to know by heart. She was so familiar with it that she blew past the lit-up menu and instead went directly to order.
"Don't worry, I'll get you something you'll like." She reassured you before making it out of the drive-through, takeout bag in hand, in record time. The bag landed in your lap and delicious smells wafted from it. You were tempted to peek inside and sample its contents, but even while entranced with Morn's driving skills you knew eating in her car was a no-no. Untoasted Pop-Tarts during a late-night study session on her bed were okay but her car was like a temple. You folded the top of the bag to make it easier to resist the temptation.
After she had parked and gotten out of the car, you followed her with takeout bag in one hand and skateboard in the other. This late on a Sunday night, the sky was a deep navy. Stark white light from the lamp posts illuminated the web of pathways that connected the dorms, parking lots, student union, and myriad other places you'd typically skateboard solo to.
A few beeping locks later, you made it to Morn's dorm room. Like yours, it was spartan and tiny, but it belonged to her and her alone. You set the bag down on the solitary table and determined to chow down, but Morn caught your attention. She sat on the twin-sized bed that you had shared with her many times before; platonically, of course. She had an expression that you couldn't quite decipher.
"You okay?" You asked, not sure where to begin.
"I'm great, actually," she said, brushing her hair out of the way so she could look at you. "Sorry if I overdid it with the kisses earlier—"
"You didn't," you interjected.
"I just... It felt great to kiss you. I don't know if it's just my nerves, or the newness of it all, or something else, but... I'm kicking myself for not making the first move on you sooner." She looked away, blushing a forest green on her cheeks. You sat next to her on the bed before she could say anything more.
"Hey, don't feel bad just because I was moping for a bit. The fact I was so worried is proof that you can't really know how someone feels about you until you ask. Even if you were friends since forever ago." You reversed the usual arrangement by wrapping your arm around her. She chuckled softly.
"I can't believe I was stressing myself out over random sorority chicks at parties rejecting me. Being with you just feels so much better than the dating apps and the parties and shit like that," Morn sighed. "I know it's technically only our first date but I really think we're something special."
"We are special," you held her tighter, "we went on our first date after... what, a decade and a half of knowing each other? That kind of history sure beats cheesy Tinder pick-up lines."
"Sure does," Morn punctuated her sentence with a kiss. Instead of giving you a quick peck, she pressed her lips into yours even harder. Within the privacy of her dorm room, your heart fluttered at the notion of Morn being able to do whatever she wanted to you. You felt the beginnings of her tongue at your lips, then she pulled away and took a deep breath. Her face was inches from yours as you caught your breath.
"I really like kissing you," Morn uttered. "Now that we're alone... are you okay if I really kiss you?"
"Really kiss me?" you teased. She got even closer.
"Please?" She played along with her best begging tone.
"Go ham." She kissed you again, giggling at your choice of words with her lips pressed against yours once more. She immediately cradled your head in her strong hands, gently placing you into a reclining position. There wasn't much room, but she managed to fit alongside you in the twin-sized bed all without breaking the kiss. You opened your eyes after pulling away to breathe, and all you could see were her dandelion-colored irises.
"I'm gonna go again," She said, smiling. "I just had to get a good look at you first."
"You can do whatever you want, Morn." You grabbed her arm and placed her hand on you. "Just don't keep me waiting."
Morn kissed you hard for the third time, the hand you held now caressing your body ravenously. As her tongue gently played at your lips, her hand found its way to your chest and played with your breasts. She hardly gave you time to gasp, coming back to your mouth with fervor. Her tongue met yours in earnest now, both of you closing the space on the bed between you. Her body flush with yours, you could feel every muscle as she held you close.
You felt one of her legs settle in between your thighs, and you whined into her mouth as she teasingly rubbed you against it. Even fully clothed the sensation was electric, no doubt due to the person giving it to you. Many nights alone had involved fantasies just like this. Now they were coming true.
Desperately, you began grinding yourself against her leg. You chased the sensation as far as you could, moaning into Morn's kiss. Just as you felt yourself approaching the edge, she removed herself from you. Her leg pulled away and the kiss stopped. You opened your eyes, bewildered. Morn had gotten off the bed and kneeled just next to it, her eyes level with your aching need. She grabbed the waistband of your bottoms before looking you in the eyes again.
"You said you didn't want me to keep you waiting," she grinned, tusks glistening. "This okay?"
"It's more than okay... stop teasing me!" You whined. She nodded, pulling your bottoms off entirely before hovering in between your legs. You could feel her breathe on you through your underwear. God, she was so close; you twitched with each puff of warm breath. Her tusks brushed against the inside of your thighs. With a tentative finger she eased your underwear out of the way, gently planting kisses all around your bare mound. She held your legs in place as they twitched and reacted to her electric touch. She deliberately avoided your tender nub with her warm lips. She was playing with you.
"Morn, please," you begged. She paused to look up at you and give a toothy grin.
"You're so cute when you're frustrated," she teased, quickly going back for more. She felt unimaginably warm against your already hot entrance. It wasn't unlike all those other times you melted at Morn's touch, only now it was so intense you couldn't help but let out gasps and squeaks. She held nothing back this time. Hungrily, she lapped at your slit, each lick finishing with a flourish on your sensitive little nub. You mewled in time with her curling tongue.
"Oh! That's— ah! So good!" You moaned, your back beginning to arch as you squirmed around on the mattress.
"You flatter me," Morn uttered between licks, looking proud. You saw something in her eye before she let go of one of your thighs and brought her hand to your entrance. Her tongue didn't let up at all as she slowly introduced one of her substantial fingers. It fit comfortably inside you at first, but you gasped hard when it started moving. Morn added another soon after, stretching you deliciously.
"I'm gonna come if you keep that up," you panted, your face burning red and lungs desperate for air.
"My pleasure," Morn said before redoubling her efforts. Her fingers curled inside you, making a "come hither" motion that made your hips rock. By this point, Morn's tongue had trouble staying on you as you writhed. You gasped with every finger curl, well and truly lost in the heat of the moment.
"Ah! Morn!" You cried, rocking yourself against her fingers desperate for more. She gave up on trying to lick your nub, instead palming one of your breasts with her other hand and pinning you to the bed. With the new leverage, she worked your insides with her fingers, pumping them in and out of you with her muscular arm. You could see sweat beading on her taut green skin.
"Come for me. I wanna see you come," Morn urged. You could do little else but cry out and oblige her. Your body spasmed hard as you cried out gibberish interspersed with her lovely name. Her fingers didn't stop rubbing against your inner walls, leaving you breathless and faint and tightly wound around her. The coiling pleasure within you finally snapped. Your back arched, completely leaving the bed as Morn pressed her lips into yours. She kissed you hungrily as you wailed into her mouth. There was nothing in your mind but the feeling of her fingers coaxing you through the height of your bliss and holding you there for as long as possible. When the pleasure finally started to subside and your breath returned to you, Morn finally withdrew her fingers and lips and wiped her forehead. She smiled at you wordlessly.
"I love you, Morn," you said, panting. There was nothing else to say, nothing else on your mind. If you had given yourself that sort of bliss on a lonely night, you would be drowsy and lethargic. Instead, with Morn turning her love for you into pleasure that made you cry out and curl, you had never felt more alive. She gave you a moment to catch your breath. Leaving your lips unkissed, she sat by your side and stroked your hair.
"I love you too," she planted a quick kiss on your forehead. "Are you tired?"
You shook your head enthusiastically. Sure, you would likely be sore in a few hours, but you wouldn't dream of denying Morn more of you.
"Good, because I wanna get off too." She chuckled and pecked your lips. Undressing herself completely, she helped you out of what clothes remained until you were both completely bare. You were completely flush against her on the bed once more, your skin perfectly complimenting her green form. Her body was toned and full, muscled yet smooth. Even after all you had just been through, the sight of her still made your heart skip.
"I've always wanted to try this. Spread your legs," she commanded, gently grasping your ankles. You complied and she lifted one of your legs aloft just in front of her as if about to hug it. Still holding your leg pointed toward the ceiling, she straddled your dripping warmth with her own. She eased herself onto you and those lovely electric feelings returned. She moaned for the first time, her pleasured sounds like music to your ears.
The position was a little awkward and bent your back in a strange way, but the feeling of her slick sex pressed against yours was delicious.
"I'm gonna start moving," Morn said. She initiated a gentle rocking motion that made you both gasp. The friction between the two of you felt gorgeous and you soon found yourself reciprocating with your hips. Interlocked and sharing the same squeaks and mewls, you wanted desperately to kiss her but couldn't. You had to lay there at her mercy as Morn clung to your leg and ground herself into you. She doubled up on her pace.
"Oh, shit," Morn groaned, both with pleasure and with effort. She had the same expression as when she was driving; when her head wasn't thrown back with a sigh, she was looking at you with love but also intent. Her grinding made you moan and her glare made you shiver delightfully. You had never felt anything like this before, nor had you even fantasized about Morn pressed up against you like this.
"This feels amazing... ah! Morn..." you sighed between yelps when the friction between you peaked.
"I—I..." Morn gasped, her entire face contorted and flushed. She had brought you to your peak once already, and now you wanted nothing more than to see her reach her own ecstasy.
"Please, Morn, come," you pleaded, mirroring her own urgency when she had brought you to orgasm earlier.
"No, I... Shit, I've got a cramp." She sighed, this time tinged with disappointment as she stopped her grinding. "Ouch." She gently disentangled herself from you, rubbing her thigh. The realization that her creased brow had come from pain and not pleasure embarrassed you a bit, an emotion that Morn echoed.
"Hey, it's okay." You sat up and held her shoulder. Her eyes were downcast as she massaged the cramp out of her muscled thigh. "Just so you know, I'm having a great time."
"You were having a great time." She winced as she shifted her kneeling weight on the bed. "Serves me right for thinking I could fuck like a pornstar on the first date, huh?"
"I already came once, Morn," you reminded her. Sitting alongside her, equally naked and sweaty, there was a clarity in the air that made it effortless to speak your mind. You felt bold, yet comfortable. You felt like you wanted more of Morn's body. "Let me take care of you. I think I can make this work."
"Take the lead, babe," Morn relented. The way she said babe made you giddy inside, but you were focused on her now. "Just mind the leg, it still freakin' hurts."
"Morn, when I say I'm gonna take care of you, I mean it. Just lie down," you said, easing her onto her back. With the positions reversed, you had a moment to look her up and down. Laid bare before you and anticipating your next move, the sight of her awoke something within you. Something that told you not to hold back.
You practically pounced atop her, squarely laying yourself on her body. She met you with a kiss that you eagerly returned. You channeled all your built-up desire to please her into that kiss, at the same time aligning your mound with hers. It took a few tries, but eventually, you found the angle where your clit could meet hers without requiring pornstar-style flexibility. Pleasure jolted through both of you and she broke the kiss to gasp.
"Told you I could make it work," you grinned, focusing now on the movement of your hips. You started slowly at first as to not tire yourself out but quickly increased the pace as the coiling warmth inside you grew. Instead of kissing her, you buried your face in her shoulder so you could hear her sing. With every roll of your hips she moaned, louder and louder as you humped her harder and harder.
"Oh, god, babe," Morn panted. You could feel her frenzied breath on your neck as she cried out. You could feel your own orgasm building but all you cared about was her.
"Tell me how you feel," you commanded, maintaining your hips' pace. "I want you to come so bad."
"Keep going," Morn grunted. "I'm close, I'm so fucking close!"
You furthered your efforts, grinding your desperate nub into hers with vigor. You panted as you began to feel tingles in your extremities and your breath became impossibly tight. Morn matched your desperation, her hips weakly pushing upwards so that her mound would meet yours sooner. Just a little more! More! You shouted to yourself mentally as Morn's hands squeezed your waist to signal her impending orgasm.
You frantically let go of her body with one hand, giving up precious leverage in order to make sure Morn couldn't escape the pleasure you were giving her. There was nothing you wanted more than to reach the peak together. You gently caught her pearl between your fingers and rolled it as you ground into her, drawing out deep moans from her. She spasmed in your grasp, gasping in time with your own pleased sighs.
"Oh god!" She cried out, throwing her head back into the piled-up blankets. Her whole body tensed and you could feel each of her rippling muscles press against you in a desperate bid to ride out her orgasm. You followed soon after, the air forced from your lungs as an explosion of tingling warmth knocked the wind out of you. All you could do was cry out with her and press your nub into hers where your hand was still at work. You rubbed and rolled, trying your best to prolong the mutual climax before finally catching your breath and collapsing into Morn's tired embrace.
With your body limp and your face buried in her neck, you could feel her breasts rise and fall with each breath. You held each other loosely for a moment, just listening to her breathe. After only a few heartbeats, she started giggling.
"What's so funny?" you asked, lifting your heavy head to look at her.
"Nothing," she stifled her giggles, a tear rolling down her cheek. "That was just really, really good."
"Are you crying?" You asked, concerned but secretly proud of your handiwork.
"No, I'm not crying. I'm tearing up, there's a difference," she chuckled. "Thank you."
"Thank you. You're the one that started it," you cooed, stroking her hair. "plus, you ate me out first so I think I owe you."
"It's on the house," Morn sighed contently. "But you're still on me... could you roll over, please?"
"Oh, sorry!" you quickly shifted your weight off of her and onto the mattress.
"Don't worry about it, I just figured the bed was softer than me." She chuckled again.
You said nothing, instead opting to resume your embrace with her from the side. She reciprocated, rolling over so she could be the big spoon. She wrapped her arms around you snugly.
"Ah, shit," Morn cursed under her breath.
"What? What's wrong?" You craned your neck a bit to see her golden eyes in your periphery.
"Our food is definitely cold by now," she grumbled, "and I don't have a microwave."
“I’ve got snacks in my bag.” You replied.
Morn readied a compliment, but delayed when both your phones buzzed. THA HOOLIGANZ had something to say.
“What is it now?” Morn rolled over and grabbed her phone, reading the messages as they rolled in. You did the same.
“What the…?”
Lash: did you two kiss yet???
Dera: they did more than that 😳😳😳
Morn shot you a look of disbelief before tapping away frantically.
Morn: wtf are you guys talking about?
You: ^
Lash: the crepe date! u two are dating now right?
You: what do u mean crepe date? the breakfast u failed to show up to u mean??
Lash: lol, relax. we just thought you two needed some time alone. for the record, i was actually hung over. me and dera just agreed you two needed to talk it out
Dera: seriously, u look at Morn the way she looks at crepes, and she looks at u the way Lash looks at literally anyone
Lash: or the way u look at dudes bulges
Dera: shut up
“I…” Morn began, jaw agape. “I don’t know if I should be mad or amazed. I’m both.”
“They set us up like lonely freshmen.” You shook your head, chuckling.
Lash: u two are dating now right???
Morn: yes dumbass
You: can confirm
Lash: CUTEEEEE
Dera: morn fucks on the first date. respect.
You: wait how- what?
Dera: ur in Morn’s dorm right
Your texting was interrupted by three solid thumps coming through the wall.
Dera: i’m right next door and these dorms are made of fucking paper
Morn: hey, i’ve dealt with hearing every single time you slept with some guy. fair is fair
Dera: no judgment from me!
Lash: suddenly i’m glad i still live with my parents…
You put your phone down as you really didn’t have much to say. Morn gave up on it as well, your phones resting together on the floor. She resumed spooning you and a moment later, you felt her chest start to heave with laughter; a hearty laugh loud enough for Dera to hear through the walls. You joined her, laughing until your diaphragm ached. The whole situation, the realization that Dera and Lash knew before either of you did and that they had a master plan… utterly ridiculous. It was like something out of a movie, yet with your arms wrapped around one of Morn’s, completely real. You feared this was all a dream, and as soon as you succumbed to sleep in Morn’s cozy twin bed, it would dissolve.
Morn could tell sleep started to take you.
“I love you,” she whispered into your ear. She squeezed you tight. You had never been more sure of anything in your life that Morn would still be cuddling you when you woke up.

If its okay could you do a Madness combat matchup?  (Ignore this if request are closed, im on mobile lol)
Really dont know my height but i would say im around a 5'3, gender questioning, bisexual person! Im very indifferent towards pronouns so any its okay for me. Regarding physical apperance im quite skinny, very weak strenght wise and always use glasses, because without them i would literally not see or read anything lmao.
Im very non confrontational, usually very quiet and awkward towards other people including friends, but i try to make up for it by acts of service, gift giving and/or dm'ing random stuff that i think my friends might like. Im also very quick to anger/frustrate but i try not to make a big deal out of it.
I like to draw and do anything that involves creating like sculpting and making stuffed plushies! I usually listen to video essays or music while doing these kinds of things. Speaking of music, i listen to a lot of indie pop music! Althought lately i've been listening to glitchcore, speedcore and generally fast paced songs.
Hopefully i didnt wrote too much/little, have a good day/afternoon/night ^_^!
YOOO GLITCHCORE IS SO POGGERS!!! I love yall omg!!! Enjoy :))
You got a match! You're matched with...
Hank!
<3
Tumblr media
He was in the abandoned mall for some new (well, what could be considered new in an old mall) clothes
You were also there what a surprise
Hank knocked over the box of leftover pins that were more unliked by local grunts and left behind
They caused a big commotion and he cussed very loudly over it
He wasn't expecting you to be nearby
Man you were just looking for an album in the nearby records store
You took out you bat, ready to defend yourself
"Hello? Who's there? I have a weapon!"
Hank froze up
You found him walking clamly outside of the hot topic
His goggles were trained on you and your bat
"Are you here to harm me?"
He stood still, then shook his head no
"...Okay."
You still didn't trust him, but you let down your bat
He nodded to you in aconowledgement for not attacking
It was a little scary but you two were just in the same vicinity rummaging through whatever wasn't ransacked from the mall
You found some art supplies, but you couldn't find ANYTHING like cotton or fabrics for sewing
You decided to just leave
As you left, you spotted the mysterious man leaning against the crumbling wall outside
His head swiveled to meet your eyes when he heard the commotion if you exiting the abandoned place
He seemed to be waiting for someone
You two exchanged a brief glance before you quickly averted your gaze, not wanting trouble
A couple times after that, you two crossed paths in the store, and you two eventually exchanged names.
You were leaving the store again one day when he suddenly approached you from his usual spot
He muttered a "heads up" before tossing something to you, a bag
You looked inside to see the stuff you were looking for a couple weeks before
"...How did you k-"
He cut you off with a grunt, "you just had to look harder, I guess..."
that was NOT what you wanted to ask and you could tell he avoided the question
You smiled tenderly, showing as much gentleness as you could, "Thank you, Hank. It means a lot."
He just turned around and let out a dry cough
"Would you like to... go to the parks nearby sometime?" You were screaming at yourself, wondering what you were doing
You noticed that he turned slightly towards you, hesitating
"Sure."
dhsjdSJAKSJSJS
You made him so many things in the time leading up to the park """date"""
When you brought it, you felt a little sheepish because he had no bags to carry it in
You just gave him your bookbag full of it
He wouldn't admit it to you then, but he was blushing so hard and adored every last thing you made
He especially likes the backpack because the only time he's hugged you was at that park date,,,
And well,, he felt so comfortable and safe in your arms, and he loved how you smell
So he hugs the bookbag sometimes, hoping to replicate your hugs
Man he wishes it was you though
Aw shit what are these feelings.mp4
He saw you at the park one day struggling with a rubik's cube
Smh
You were getting very frustrated and nearly threw the thing to the ground and smashed it with your bat when Hank interrupted you
You did a complete 180
From "I'm going to decimate this goddamn cube and then every single one I see from now on will suffer my wrath" to "Oh hi Hank 😄🥰"
He thought it was funny tbh
"So, I've been considering..."
You were suddenly very intrigued. Hank? Doing something outside of impulse? Whoaw/lh
"...I'm new to this field but I think I'm in love with you."
he had to make sure you didn't fall off the bench you were sitting on
Poor guy thought he killed you with mf words
He explained how he's felt since just before he went scavenging for your materials, knowing you were respectful of his presence and wasn't out to kill him
He'd only wanted to be your friend then. But, over time, he just felt more and more passionate about being around you
Aaawww cute
Of course you accepted !!!!
He will use every moment possible to just pull you flush against him and appreciate you <33
!!!!! Wooooo hank!!!! Get the bag hankerchief !!! I hope you liked this, op 💓💓
