And I personally would love it if the Volturi knew that we're there since Carlisle and Esme got custody of us. They are "Cousins [ Demetri, Felix, Alec, Janeand Heidi,] Anutes and Uncles [ Uncle Aro, Caius and Marcus] to us". When Alice goes and saves Edward dumbass. We're there to save Edward, but we're also happy to see them. When Demetri and Felix came, we called them Cousin Dem and Fe while smiling. We hug Jane, holding hands with her. The Cullens knew about what we call them. We really don't care what happens with Bella, but we do care about our brother and sister. So, I want to compare how Edward thinks and how Bella thinks to show the two girls relationship.

I think when Bella is finally introduced to the family she's quite jelouse of Edward's relationship with you, there's no real incureties to it, she just doesn't want girls hanging around Edward.

Bella also thinks your plan and shy, there's off hand comments on how she's discribes you, Edward on the other hand discribes you as happy, humorous, and so beautiful.

You guys are always throwing harmful comments to each other and Bella usually takes it too far.

You also hate how she's treats her father. She always gets mad and says it's none of your business and you have no idea what you were talking about.

Carlisle and Esme would put a stop to it, there's been many times Carlisle and Charlie have had talks about Bella's bullying.

Of course you're parents know your not a saint in theses situation, but Bella is usually the one to start it.

And since your the youngest, your basically the center of the Cullens universe, but then Bella comes along and puts your family in danger, that's your problem.

You also have a problem with Edward putting everything aside no matter what for her, your happy he finally has a girlfriend but there should be boundaries.

You especially started hating her when Edward decided to go to the Vulturi after Bella's supposed death.

You knew about the Vulturi and you became friends with them in fact, your uncle Marcus(yes, you heard me right) says your the glue that holds you all together.

After Aro found out about a human joining Cullen Coven, he showed up to see if it was true, Aro didn't really have a plan for what he was gonna do, but when he met you he saw no harm. He was in aw at the sight of the small child.

The deal was that you could stay human with the family as long as you wanted, you just had to keep the secret of the Vampires.

Honestly you see Aro as the creepy uncle, you'd never say that to his face and he'll never found out because he refuses to read your mind.

Dispite you thinking he's creepy, he'd never hurt you.

At first Cauis wanted nothing to do with you and didn't agree with Aro's decision, but the more the family interacted with the Vulturi the more he grew a soft spot for you.

Marcus is more of a grandpa than an uncle if were being honest, he's a lot older than the others and he's always been so gentle and kind towrds you.

He gives you advice and is there if you need to talk.

I don't know much about Heidi, but I figure she'd absolutely love you and is always spoiling you.

Demetri is like a big brother/cousin and you kinda have a love/hate relationship. You guys tease each other and sometimes it'll get mean, but trust me he'd kill anyone who harms you.

Your probably closest to Jane and Alec, they're both closer to your age and you three just hit it off immediately. You hate hearing about they're tragic back stories but they always tell you it's not your fault and you make they're lives better.

Then Edward left for Italy to go and execute himself 🙄

You were so made at Bella for putting Edward in this headspace and situation, especially after you found out she's was perfectly fine.

But, anyway Alice was getting ready to take Bella to Italy and you wanted to Tag along. Not because you were there to support Bella, but because you wanted to see the extented family.

Ya know... Going to Italy to beat Felix and Demetir at Mario cart again...

What you didn't want to do is see Bella getting all dramatic and telling your Uncle Aro to kill her instead of Edward.

You rolled your eyes and came up to hug Jane as she threatened to use her gift on her, she was only using like 5% of it on Edward just for ✨dramatic effect✨ . “alright Jay, they've learned their lessons”

Jane chuckled and stopped using her powers on Edward, wasn't too painful for him.

“Aw, I was having fun” Felix sighed as you ran up to him and hugged him.

Cauis rolled his eyes trying to hide his smile as Bella looked completely confused. “What just happened?”

You left Felix's arms and walked around the Castle. “by the way, where's Dem?”

You then clicked your tough, with a sarcastic smile. “well, we send little miss. Main character home and me and Alice can stay here for the weekend, dad said we could.”

Jane hugged you excited for some girl time while Felix ran around the Castle making sure you had a comfy room to sleep in.

“do what ever you want Dem, killer or set her free, send her to the moon, have her for dinner, I don't really care”

Uncle Cauis laughed as bella started stuttering as Felix and Alec came back with arms full of dvds.

“wait, what?” Edward sighed. “they're kidding”

“we could watch a bunch of TV shows, we got Bones, and supernatural” Felix smiled.

“no Supernatural, they got the vampires all wrong” Alec said.

The two boys and you and Jane both just walked off talking about what you should watch without even a goodbye for Edward and Bella. “What about Moon Knight, dad finally got an account for Disney+. It's a really good marvel show”

“ooh, I heard Oscar Isaac is in it, he's so hot” Jane said, Felix and Alec groaned as you girls started thirsting over male actors.

“they're just gonna be horny for 40-something year old men the whole time” Alec sighed, heide slapped him and told him to be nice.

Bella scoffed and left with Edward after Alice smiled and ran after her sister and Jane.

Honestly, I like that we’re only now seeing Demetri feed into anger and make decisions he’ll probably regret later. Now, after Hawk has already had his redemption arc and rejected Cobra Kai’s ideology. I don’t think any sane viewer would have blamed him for going a little dark after Hawk broke his arm, but he didn’t. In fact, Demetri forgave Hawk extremely easily. He’s better than me, I don’t think most people would be willing to look past that so quickly.

So why now? Why does MIT hurt more than all the far worse stuff Eli did when he was in Cobra Kai?

Demetri has been learning Miyagi Do since s2. Before that, he disliked Cobra Kai’s way of doing things and only really clicked with karate when he was taught balance and self defense. Demetri is probably behind Sam and Anthony as the teen character with the least amount of experience in Cobra Kai.

But there’s a reason all the adult characters keep talking about balance. It can’t just be either all rage or all forgiveness. I can imagine Demetri harboring some pent up resentment over Hawk’s actions, buried so deep he doesn’t even realize it’s there until they have another fight.

And this time, it’s not Kreese’s brainwashing. It’s not that his best friend was angry about their lots in life and lashed out to extreme extents. There’s not a greater bad guy to point at behind Hawk, there’s not even really a bad guy. They’ve just been through a lot and they’re different people than they were when they first picked a college. Eli is telling him, “You’re my best friend but we’re never going back to how we used to be. We cannot go back and I’m not sure I want the same future as you.”

And this is after Demetri gets his best friend back. Apart from everything with Silver and Kreese, his life is going relatively uphill; Eli is good again, they have plenty of other friends, he’s dating Yasmine, and he’s learnt karate. Other than his friends’ success, he really isn’t looking for more than to preserve what he’s already gained. Losing MIT with Eli is a curveball he didn’t expect, just another thing he’s supposed to accept and move on from, and it happens when Demetri thinks he’s found security.

And then there Demetri’s motivation for wanting to compete in the Sekai Taikai. It’s not ambition. Demetri already got what he wanted out of Miyagi Do, he knows how to defend himself. In past seasons, he stayed because there was safety in numbers and of course he was against Cobra Kai. But now that Kreese is out of the valley, Demetri is still with the dojo because all his friends are there and he has developed a genuine enjoyment of martial arts. He doesn’t really want more. He says multiple times that he’s okay if where he’s at is the farthest he’ll go in terms of karate.

Demetri is comfortable being a side character. He doesn’t think he’ll ever outdo the core four or Hawk so he doesn’t see a point in trying. He wants to ride out the rest of his senior year with the dojo and then go to MIT, where he’ll do what he’s always been good at, where he might actually excel.

And Yasmine calls him out on this. They bonded when they were both at their lowest and she dated him while Demetri was helping the fight against Cobra Kai. She does not want him to throw in the towel too early and grow stagnant.

So, at first, Demetri really trains and tries his best to get picked for the Sekai Taikai to please her. But then Hawk tells him he’s unsure about MIT, and, “You chose my path?!” There was such genuine hurt in his voice, but Demetri could never hurt Hawk as much as Hawk hurt him. And Barnes said you have to be ruthless to get into the Sekai Taikai, yet Hawk showed him mercy, which Demetri exploits.

Demetri is clearly unsure of his actions when he takes the flag and runs. He seriously considers helping his best friend up. But when Eli decided to be selfish, he did so much damage, so why can’t Demetri be selfish this one time? Why can’t he lash out and take the victory he wants at the other’s expense? It’s not like he does anything worse than what Hawk’s done to him?

Sometimes you just need to hash it out and make up. It’s why Sam and Tory couldn’t spar properly after becoming friends; they realized they liked each other so they didn’t address their baggage. But because they didn’t, they felt at risk of falling into bad habits whenever the past finally did catch up to them. But they talked it out, they apologized for the things they regret, they brought up lingering resentments. Demetri wanted his best friend back so he forgave too easily, and now that they’re fighting again, so much past hurt is being brought to the surface.

Now that Cobra Kai is out of the valley, Demetri has started falling back to old habits. It’s been noted that he does most of the talking on Eli’s behalf in the early episodes of s6, his resignation about the Sekai Taikai reminds me a lot about his apathy towards high school in s1, and he assumes they’ll still go through with the college plans they made before their falling out. I do think Demetri genuinely wanted to be a part of the tournament but resigned himself after the team number was announced. When Hawk came clean about applying to MIT, Demetri finally decided to take more.

The show is about balance, it’s about finding a middle ground between defense and offense, Daniel and Johnny. I don’t think Demetri is gonna have a full blown villain arc or join Kreese or anything overly dramatic (we’re already getting that with Tory). He’s been loyal to Miyagi Do for too long. But that’s kind of the issue, he never fully let himself get angry at Hawk, and this is the result. Like Johnny said about Tory, if it takes a fight to process all your emotions, then fight, because holding it in will only make everything uglier.

You were told to wait for their approval before moving over the uneven surface of the open forest. Of course you didn’t listen…

when did you ever?

A few of the guard had been sent to check up on the Cullen coven and their hybrid, as well as investigate the existence of the wolves they were acquaintanced with (thanks to Caius and his insistence on the matter).

You trailed behind your mate, or at least you thought you were behind him. Himself and Alec had stopped a few steps back and, being stuck in your own little world, you had unintentionally carried on deeper. Though, thoughts had immediately been interrupted as you lost your footing, having stepped on a concealed gap in the dirt and rolling your ankle rather harshly. Both of the guards eyes snapped towards you immediately.

They froze, wondering if the snap they both heard was perhaps just a twig you landed on… or perhaps your ankle. They were not left to wonder for long, a whimper of pain coming from you. Demetri sprung into action, rushing over to you and crouching down next to you as tears pricked your eyes.

“Shhh, you’re alright sweetheart” He cooed as he pulled you into him, pausing when you let out a sharp yelp and grabbed your leg protectively.

“It hurts… it hurts…” You repeated through broken sobs. “I think it’s broken- ow!”

“It’s not broken. We would have heard the snap, principessa. Shh…You’re okay..” He wrapped his arms around your upper body, pulling your head to his chest and stroking your hair. He was definitely not going to tell you that he did in fact hear the snap of something.

“This wouldn’t have happened if you just listened for once…” You heard the witch twin grumble with a scoff from behind your mates protective stance. A low growl rumbled through the tracker, emitting from his chest. He turned and shot him a glare.

“Watch it!” He snarled “Do not insult my mate again. Make yourself useful and inform Carlisle.”

With an eye roll Alec disappeared and you continued to sob.

“Darling I’m going to stand you up, okay?” You immediately shook your head, letting out a sobbing rejection.

“It’s just for a moment so I can lift you better, it’s easier to hurt your ankle right now” He coaxed as you hiccuped. “Come, amore. That’s it- good girl”.

He helped you up and you whimpered again as a shooting pain ran up your leg. He lifted you gently, turning and making his way back to the Cullen residence.

Back at the house, you sat in the makeshift medical room, Carlisle asking you questions and confirming what happened. Demetri stood beside you, holding you hand and stroking away your tears. He pressed a kiss to your forehead as the oldest Cullen concluded.

“It’s just a sprain, it should heal in a few weeks as long as you rest it.” He smiled at you comfortingly as you nodded, softly sighing. You heard him sigh as well, mumbling something unintelligible.

“Huh… I guess that snap was just a twig…”

“Huh?”

“Don’t you worry. I told you there was nothing to worry about. Didn’t I, baby?” Demetri spoke from beside you as you let out a breathy sob, wrapping your arms around him. “Now will you listen to me next time when I ask you to be careful?”

He smirked, pulling back to lift your chin and you sniffled. Nodding with a pout he chuckled and kissed your lips softly. He picked you up, walking to a nearby couch and setting you down.

“My pretty little baby, you’re so sweet. Now let’s get you more comfortable, hm?”

just kind of sitting here wondering about miguel and shy, nerdy larusso reader 😭 Very much in my head about miguel being head over heels for sam, until reader shows up (was out sick or something lol) and she's fully friends with all the nerds & miguel's like "why didnt you guys tell me about her?" and dem & eli are just like "idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ shes one of us?"

"why didn't you tell me about her?" is such a mood tho.

Miguel comes to school, sees Sam and is kind of crushing. But the next day, Reader joins him, Eli, and Demetri at their table like "hey guys, sorry I was out. No one bothered you, did they?" and Miguel is absolutely lovestruck. She looks at Miguel and he's just staring until she waves at him with a cute smile.

"Hi."

"Hey."

They all talk about nerdy things like video games and comics, and the guys inform Reader on what she missed, which wasn't much. It's a fun time. It's great.

When she gets up to get another drink, Miguel looks at his new friends and is like "guys wtf!" and all Demetri has to say for himself is "Well, you were gonna meet her eventually, I didn't think telling you about her was all that important."

"Yeah, but she's totally hot and likes the same stuff as us, and you didn't think that was important?" Miguel asks.

Their conversation about it is cut short by Reader coming back and resuming the previous conversation. Miguel thinks that she's so cool.

Meanwhile, Reader isn't totally in love with herself. She constantly feels compared to her sister, especially as school. Sam is pretty and popular and has a lot of pretty and popular friends. She and Sam are so different body-wise as well that it's no wonder she gets so much more attention from guys. Reader would actually think Miguel is into Sam for a while, so she'd only look at him as a friend because she doesn't want to get hurt.

However, her feelings are uncontrollable. She falls for Miguel more and more with each passing day and they bond over karate. She doesn't tell him that her dad hates Cobra Kai or that Johnny is her dad's high school bully because she thinks that has nothing to do with their friendship. They will do karate in their free time, though, and that brings them closer together. They do other stuff together, too, like studying, playing video games, going to the movies; normal friend things., but she can't help but wish they were more.

Her insecurities around her body get revealed when they're watching a movie together and she accidentally lets it slip that she wishes she could look like the pretty actress on screen. Miguel is shocked by the admission and Reader becomes embarrassed. "You're beautiful just the way you are," he tells her and she shakes her head, mentioning how the pretty version of her is Sam. Then she excuses herself to refill their popcorn and Miguel is left to think about what she said. Oh how he wishes she saw herself the way he sees her.

Because he thinks she's so beautiful, inside and out, because her smile is shining and her laughter is angelic. She's smart and kind and sweet and nerdy in the best way possible. And she can do karate! What more could he ever want in a girl? So what if she's got some extra meat on her bones? he doesn't care about that. in fact, he'd say that's something he loves about her because no matter what body she's in, she's amazing. And he might wanna cuddle up and hold all of her close and give her extra fat a squeeze or two.

All he has to do it tell her he likes her and ask her out... but how?

Felix didn’t really believe in love at first sight. He had been focused on his job for so long that seeing you for the first time his whole world turned upside down.   

Felix just had to have you, and he was going to make sure of it.   

He took you to the castle and locked you in his personal room. After all, the room was going to become yours, so you had to get used to it.   

Felix would hold you while you cried in his arms and tell you how much he loved you.   

Felix is a quieter type, don’t get me wrong he is possessive, dangerous and manipulative, but he doesn’t want to hurt you physically at least.   

Demetri...  

If Demetri happens to be your soulmate you will be practically dead to anybody who is not Demetri himself.   

When he saw you for the first time, he got close to you but then he got a smell of another man on you. To say it shortly that man was hunted down and tortured until Demetri felt like the man had gotten enough of a punishment for touching you.   

Demetri is super clingy and will show his best puppy dog eyes, if you say no to him.   

He will also manipulate you to be okay with his behavior, but like Felix he doesn’t want to hurt you physically. Demetri once broke your wrist while you were fighting about his concerning behavior.

Alec is shy with his soulmate but not any less yandere than s co-workers.   

Alec likes to know you before he starts to get into a relationship with you. He watches you, but to him he is doing this just to make sure that you are safe and happy.   

When you start your relationship, you will get a massive surprise when he starts to talk about your personal life that you hadn’t told him yet.   

 Alec hates to see you cry, but he is a bit more understanding. He will hold you and tell you how much he loves you.   

Caius...  

Caius is the most sadistic of all of them.   

Caius will bound you to a bed and force you to hear him. Caius will go on and on about the fact of how you could be killed and how that would crush him like it did with Marcus.    

In his mind, he needs to keep you safe from other people, but in the process, he will hurt you so much more.   

Caius is paranoid and sadistic, and rarely shows you any actual affection. But when you get some of that so needed affection Caius will be glued to you and you are left to wanting more.    

Marcus...  

Marcus wants you to love him. His first plan isn’t to kidnap you and force you to be his. He wants the normal kind of relationship first.   

And he gets it for a short moment, but like everyone else in this post he is yandere.  

First, he manipulates you to stay with him at all times and next the paranoia hits. It’s his job to keep you safe anyway.   

Slowly he becomes more paranoid. Didyme had died and now you were a new chance for happiness for him. He just needs to be sure that something like that wouldn’t happen to you too.   

And if you didn’t like him at that point, it didn’t matter, because after all you were alive.    

Aro...  

Aro is paranoid too, but he doesn’t want to show it to you.   

He actually doesn’t want to show any weaknesses to you, in case you would use them against him  

Aro tries to get you to fall in love with him the normal way first, but soon sees that it has been a long time since he has talked to a human for more than a second.   

So, he kidnaps you and confesses his love for you, only to start panicking after you start to cry in terror. Instead of listening to you, he will hold you and whisper to you how he would never let you go.

°Demetri is the hunter of the Volturi and is the best vampire in the world. But above all, he loves to hunt and play with his prey, a fact that each of the other guards knew and respected. Respected until they tore the victim to pieces.

°But when the guards went to look for a person, to their surprise they did not find a vampire. They came across a young human woman, a friend of the wanted man, who had hidden him before he moved on and evaded the law. But it was precisely this human woman who disturbed his sense for the first time. He found it difficult to grasp her and she kept disappearing. Her scent, her melody, he could only sometimes perceive her before she disappeared again.

°He had mumbled, ,,Exceptional," as he stood with Jane and Alec in the torn-out doorway. Her scent was still in the air, as was the tantalizing smell of her blood. But she herself had escaped through a back entrance. ,,Report to our masters...I'll hunt her down," he had said to the two relatives who entrusted him with the matter before they disappeared and he was alone with her.

°But as soon as they left, he ran off, knowing that if he only heard her irregularly, he would have to see her. A human was a ncihts to him she would get tired and until then he would chase her. Would do anything to see her look again, that beauty of surprise and fear. She was his perfect victim. And he had never felt such bloodlust as he searched for her. ,,I feel you!" he called into the surrounding forest. The snow slowly began to cover the landscape and everything glistened in white.

°But then he heard her again, his abilities captured her inner self again and he ran on. ,,Come out my melody and I won't kill you...not yet" he said almost gently and pulled out a tree with his hand and threw it into the undergrowth. He saw the animals startle, the prey was startled and he heard the cry. There you are, he thought with a grin and followed his hunch.

°He had seen her again and again before he finally saw her trying to get down a steep slope without slipping because of the snow. ,,Your bones are breaking my pretty you're not like us...you're going to die" he said and emerged from behind a tree watching with his red eyes as she looked at him in fear and then down. He saw that she knew, saw that his bosom was pushed into the corner. He loved it.

°Loved her fear, loved her smell, loved how she kept escaping him, loved that she was weak. He loved her. He loved her existence. And he loved that she jumped. Each of his victims was different, most fought or gave up but none had tried to kill themselves. ,,Except for you," he murmured and disappeared only to catch her the next moment, hearing her frightened noise as she felt his cold presence.

°As he threw her hard to the ground the snow only partially caught her and a painful sound left her as she crawled away from him. ,,I don't know where he is...he...he's been gone for weeks," she said, dodging his attempt to grab her and rushing up to run away again. Her body ached from the impact and she knew he was playing. That he could have just killed her but he didn't.

°Instead, he smiled at her with amusement, watching how she reacted, observing her, but not hiding his interest. She saw exactly how his red eyes stayed on her body as he imagined how she tasted, how he smelled her blood, her warm soft skin. But then he snapped and appeared in front of her, grabbing her and pushing her hard against one of the cold trees. A thing that hurt her without being hurt and yet she tried to defend herself.

°She wanted to get away and didn't want to fall victim to the hunter. But as with her guest, she saw the perfection, the flawless appearance of his beauty. ,,That's it... good," he murmured and let go slightly, but not nearly enough for her to escape. Instead, he buried his head in the crook of her neck for a moment, his cold lips running almost devotedly over her neck. The coldness of the dead man made her shiver and made him smile. Such a reaction, he thought, feeling the thirst in his throat, knowing that in the end she had no choice anyway.

°But she couldn't stop him and at the latest when he held her up with his hand she looked at him with an amused look as the poison went through her body. Knew she would turn, she was his reward, his prize. Was what he deserved.

°And he was right, he had taken her back to Volterra. He had told the three of them what had happened, had explained what had happened to her, that she could be a disturbance for the future. But in the end he walked out of the hall with a victorious smile, holding her unconscious body in his arms. He would be so good for her.

°From then on, she was his because even if he had put his actual goal on hold for the time being, he would still get it. But it was during the time when she used it to make herself and the other Volturi she had joined invisible.

°The Cullens had not seen her coming, they had no chance and when it was done her red eyes frantically searched for Demetri, she found him. ,,That's it...come here," he said and held out his hand to her, which she took when she saw him in the battlefield of dismembered bodies. The hunter gave his victim the space to make the decision that they both knew had long since replaced free will with the bond of love.

°Since she had shared the kiss he had placed his cold lips on hers. They had become one, she had lost herself to him, but he had fallen for her, his perfect victim. And even though she fled again and again, the two of them made a joke of it only to end up in the cold snow, the moon the witness of the two as the dark robes fell to the ground, in the end it was a love between a hunter and his victim. A hunt that would and could go on forever.

As you repeat this question in your mind, your heart begins to break. You also started to spend your time with the guards. You used to make up with Jane, comb and braid your hair. She used to show you her newly bought porcelain dolls. Alec shows you the pictures he made. He was painting you. Felix and Demetri were spending time playing virtual games. You were having girl talk with Renata, Corin, Heidi and Chelsea. Afton and Santiago were helping you with the plants in the garden. Soon your husbands realized that you were no longer spending time with them and you were not striving for it. While they were all in the throne room, the subject was brought up by Aro.

"Our precious wife is moving away from us."

"Aro is right about that. What's wrong with him?"

While Marcus wanted to say something, Jane started to speak.

If they had asked the Kings what was the heaviest physical and emotional blow they have taken in their lifetime, their answer would have been the day you said those words to them. Even if the Kings wanted to spend time with you in the coming days, you stayed away from them. Finally, Caius lost his patience and yelled at you.

In a short time, other guards came and joined you. They were all trying to lift your spirits.

You had decided to go out into the garden when it was midnight after they had left. You were sitting on the bench by the water fountain and looking at the sky. The kings came to you very sad and embarrassed.

"Can we come dear?"

"Why do you ask for permission? As the king, everything belongs to you."

"I didn't mean to say it like that. I was very angry."

"You don't need to fall in love, King. You have the right to do anything."

"Aro, please forgive Caius and me, honey. Believe me, we're in pain. We feel all your feelings, too."

"Marcus is right. It really hurts."

"I don't believe it. I'm actually stupid enough to think you love me. I was foolish enough to believe that a tyrant like you, especially Cauis, would."

"Please don't say that."

Aro knelt before you and held your hands.

"You don't know what to do without reading my mind."

Aro's hands pushed off and you stood up. A few days passed after this speech. The mood of the kings was in a very bad state. While you were lying on your bed in your room, the Kings had arrived. You ignored them by turning your face the other way. Aro was on your right, Marcus on your left, and Caius between your legs. After five quiet minutes, you noticed that your body and emotions were starting to heal.

"I don't know if I can forgive you."

"Trying will be enough for us."

"I'll do my best."

Now the Kings, or at least one of them, were spending time with you on a daily basis. Although it took a few months for your forgiveness, your bonds were stronger than before. This was a lesson that the Kings would never forget.

If Eli was thinking logically (which he wasn’t), he would’ve known that sooner or later Demetri would show up. With seven unanswered texts, and the fact that Eli played hooky all day, it really shouldn’t be surprising when his best friend comes knocking on his door–literally. 

“You know, you could’ve at least answered my texts,” Demetri grumbles, already making his way to the living room. “I was worried about you.”

Eli doesn’t even know what to say. Here is Demetri, his best friend since they were tiny, barging in to make sure he’s okay because he hasn’t heard from him since yesterday, bearing snacks and making himself at home in the remnants of the depression cocoon on the couch. Eli stops short and just wants to sob. 

Demetri notices that Eli hovers by the doorway. He must see the tears forming in his eyes because he drops the popcorn bags on the coffee table and crosses the room without hesitation. Eli’s vision blurs as tears fill his eyes. Demetri hovers in front of him. His hands reach out to gently touch Eli’s forearms at his sides. 

“Hey,” Demetri says softly–too softly. He searches Eli’s eyes in concern. “What’s wrong?”

His hands move down, caressing Eli’s skin ever so slightly. His right hand finds Eli’s, and his thumb brushes back and forth on the outside of it. He speaks and touches Eli as if he’s something that might break. Eli wants to throw up again. 

His right arm is the one Eli broke. 

Eli swallows it and pulls his hands back. He wipes at his tears, scrubbing his face roughly, and takes an entire step away. Demetri’s face falls slightly. He opens his mouth to speak, but Eli interrupts him. 

“Have I hurt you?” Eli asks bluntly. He forces himself to meet Demetri’s gaze. 

Confusion crosses Demetri’s features. His eyes flicker back and forth to each of Eli’s. There is a slow moment of realization. 

“Eli, listen-” he begins.

“Did. I. Hurt. You?” Eli demands through his gritted teeth. He balls his fists in frustration. He’s so angry with himself and so overridden by guilt. He doesn’t need Demetri to sugarcoat it. He needs to know the truth. He needs to know if his nightmares are true. He knows in his gut that they are, but he needs to hear it.

Demetri sighs. “I was afraid you might remember the bad shit first.”

Cobra Kai S6 - Daniel and Miyagi

So when the writers announced they planned to put a little dirt on Miyagi's name, a lot of people got mad about it. I didn't, it isn't a secret that Miyagi has a past, and it wasn't always good. But Daniel did conveniently forget about that, and it's a lesson he's desperately needed to relearn.

Spoilers, etc, so on.

A Knight Templar's Mad Idolatry

So a longstanding part of the series is Daniel's absolute faith in Miyagi's teachings, and it'd be cute if he didn't misuse those teachings to hurt people (in nonviolent nonkarate ways). I still wish his attempt to get Johnny's dojo evicted had even the tiniest bit of fallout.

Or eating the humble pie that came from attempting to use his access to public events and private clubs to try and sell his karate to undercut the guy using it as - you know - his source of income. And I did immediately get mad at the fact that Daniel decided that MiyagiDo means Johnny doesn't get an income.

All of this comes back to how much of Daniel's personality is his faith in Miyagi, and distrust of things that he feels are in direct conflict with that.

And if you think 'I've just described the whole show' that's a part of the problem.

The show is aware Daniel's wrong on this, but the conflict of karate soap opera is too juicy to let Daniel move past it until now. Which is what I hope the mystery box is about.

A Box of Doubts and Questions

As much as I'd rather Daniel realize how he's treated Johnny every time Johnny attempted to bury the hatchet lead to introspection and evaluation of his own priorities and behavior to change into a more complete person.

I will take him having a crisis of faith that the saint he's prayed to for the past forty years wasn't perfect.

I doubt the writers will make Miyagi a bad guy, but it would be interesting if the Miyagi in his 20s as flawed and messed up as Johnny Lawrence. That he made some mistakes, learned from them, and created an identity and a philosophy based on them. That you get a Mr. Miyagi from mistakes and poor choices.

Which are things that already existed, but Daniel hadn't paid attention before so maybe he'll pay attention if Miyagi was a boxer, something so unforgivable has to be looked at right. (That is a joke.)

Too Little Too Late

As much as Daniel finally learning his lesson feels good, like Demetri I don't trust the writers to do it. And if the writers do it, a part of me will always feel like Daniel should have faced this in Season 2. Or when he was 25.

Like a normal person.

(I know, I know, this is Karate Soap Opera, normal is not conductive to Karate Soap Opera. But Daniel never learning a lesson still bothers me.)

I have a question about Demetri and his fear of falling in love. It might be my own inexperience with relationships, but I don't understand why being in one would "ruin this exceptionally easy life he has" as you put it. Is he afraid of being rejected/abandoned (cue his fear of not being enough affirmed) and the consequent heartbreak that could jeopardize his tracking performance? Or is he scared of his anxieties being amplified with a mate and preventing him from fulfilling his duties?

Well sweet Anonymous it all comes down to Demetri’s crippling anxiety, it really does put a damper on a lot of opportunities for him.

Demetri as he is right now has very few worries, he is the best tracker in the world, has a high position within The Volturi, all of the comforts he can think of are at his fingertips and he is able to live that life without having to worry about someone else. Well, that is what Demetri says to himself at the very least.

It is in fact his abandonment issues that get to him more often than not, the fear of his mate finding him inadequate. If he never tries he never has to get hurt in that way, the dalliances he entertains now keep him sated physically and he has deep bonds with Felix and Heidi; he does not feel like he can ask for more.

Also, The Volturi has enemies, that is no secret. If Demetri found a mate that would be a sure way to hurt and incapacitate him. That would mean his family has lost their tracker and a stellar guard. That would put something greater at risk and Demetri cannot stand the thought of that.

If Demetri ever pursue’s a mate, the lucky individual will know that he damn well means it, for he would have thought about it for a long time.

Dec. 6 - What was it like for Eleazar to see the Volturi/his fellow guards again in Breaking Dawn?

I mean, I hope he had the good sense to be afraid. Once Aro took Edward's hand, he became aware of the fact that Eleazar has been having some pretty brazen conversations with his fellow witnesses, such as "How Chelsea forces people's loyalty when Aro wants someone" and "How we might be able to get around Aro's personal bodyguard." If Aro shares these security breaches with Caius, Eleazar will very likely end up on the Volturi's hit list sooner than later—especially since he would be able to recruit even more gifted vampires to the wrong side if this leads to war in the years to come.

Eleazar also feels ashamed, and not just his canon angst over his role in helping Aro acquire gifted vampires back in the day. He feels ashamed when he looks at his former friends—Demetri, Chelsea, Felix, Corin, Heidi, Aro himself—and knows that they now see him as a traitor. He knows he's on the right side of this conflict, but it still hurts to see that accusation in their eyes.

He hates that it's come to this, because he really wanted to keep believing that the Volturi are worthy to rule. He doesn't share one ounce of Garrett's revolutionary enthusiasm. The thought of having to fight against his old comrades in the Guard makes him sick.

“I'm nervous, are you nervous? My stomach kinda hurts and my head feels all weird- you think that's normals? I know-”

“Dem we are literally in the middle of a doctor's office, no one wants to hear your weird rambling. I don't think Reader wants to hear it either.”

“Wait what? Sorry I wasn't really paying attention.” Reader looked up from where she had been playing with her bump with her hands.

Hawk rolled his eyes as he watched Demetri fight his own thoughts. He had been rambling all morning since they woke up. Talking about weird and strange pregnancy facts, more so than normal. Hawk was just about done with it after being stuck in a car with him on the way to the doctor's office. Reader didn't seem too bothered by it and opted to focus on her new bump.

She was starting to fill out ready. Her bump was pretty big now and was snug in all of her regular shirts. She started wearing Eli’s old sweaters and some of his hoodies for more room.

“I don't think you should be nervous, it's exciting! Today we get to find out what we are having. A boy or a girl! It's fun.” Reader smiled at the goofy nerd. Demetri rubbed at his eyes as he groaned. Why did she always have to be so happy?

“Dude come on, I'm not nervous. We get to find out if we are having a little boy or a little girl. It's something you should be excited about not panicking over.” Hawk rolled his eyes as he put a hand on Reader’s bump. His hand rubbed soft circles into her skin as he grinned down at her.

He quickly took one of Demetri’s hands and placed it on her belly. His long fingers worked on the now tight skin. Feeling her under the thick material of the sweater she had on. Slowly his nerves started to relax and he broke down.

He sighed before saying “Ok I get it your right. I shouldn't be so upset about this....”

“See all better!”

Reader laughed making her belly jolt up.

“Reader?”

A nurse said from the doorway of the doctor's office hall, a smile on her lips as she ushered the three back. Both boys jumped up, helping Reader her up and out of her chair. With a light hand on her belly, she got up and followed the nurse back. They walked down a short hallway, the boys following close behind. The nurse sat them in an exam room for saying the doctor would be right in.

Reader climbs up onto the exam table and lays down. Both of the boys stand next to her the whole time.

“So what do you think it is?” Reader says as she lifts her sweater up, exposing her belly. Her bump big and round. Her fingers ghost over her belly button.

“I think it's a boy...”

“No way, I get the feeling it's a girl. Something just keeps telling me that it's a girl.”

Hawk smirks as he talks about his intuition on their baby being a girl. Demetri just raises a brow but lets it go.

“Thought you would want a little boy more, you know so you could train him more or something? Be a little rough?”

“Let’s take a step back, it’s a feeling ok. And yeah having a boy is fine , I like that idea. But having a girl would be nice too, plus who cares if it’s a girl I’m still going to teach her how to be a total badass anyway. Doesn’t matter if she’s a girl or not.” he puffs out his chest. Reader can only giggle at his confidence.

Everyone went quiet when the door opened and the doctor came in.

The doctor was a nice women, she smiled the whole appointment. She asked a few questions, just asking about how the pregnancy was going over all. Any new symptoms, new diet, prenatal care, how she was feeling over all. Reader was honest the whole time. How morning sickness was slowly fading, her feet hurting more, back pains.

She even admitted to the mass amounts of heart burn and how much back acid she had coming up now randomly thought the day. The doctors assured her and the boys that it was perfectly normal.

The talking slowly stopped as they moved on to the more physical part of the checkup. The doctor felt up her belly a bit, her legs and thighs, along with her blood pressure and sugars. Everything was normal so far.

“So I hear this is your ultrasound scan for the sex of the baby. Are you guys excited to find out what your having?”

Reader nodded and the boys gripped her hand.

“Overall we are a little nervous, but we are really excited to find out.”

She smiled at the first time parent’s. She turned on the ultrasound equipment and started getting everything ready for the scan.

“That’s perfectly normal, all parents tend to be a little nervous during sex scans. New and old. I think you will be happy either way.” She smiled as she got the ultrasound gel out and spread it along Readers bump. She hissed for a moment at the cold, shivering a little before it warmed up a bit. That feeling never got old. The doctor took out the wand from the machine and slowly pressed it to her belly. She slowly moved it around the gelled up bump, looking around.

After a few minutes she turned the screen towards the three. She hit a small button and paused the scan. She pointed at the shadow like form that was their baby. Demetri squeezed Reader and Hawk’s hands. He chewed at his bottom lip as he looked at the screen. Haw tried to squint to get a better look at the rough screen. The doctors pressed her finger around the screen.

“So what I’m seeing right now is a healthy well developed, baby girl. Congratulations your having a little girl!”

All three of them had tear filled eyes at this point.

“She’s so tiny…”

“It’s a girl I knew it! Called it!”

“I told you it would be fine.”

Reader smiled as she kissed Demetri’s cheek, his lips stuck in a wide smile as he continued to look at the screen. Reader giggled and squealed, tears welling I her eyes. Hawk fist pounded the air for a quick moment before regaining his composure. He coughed into his free hand saying.

“Told you so.”

“Shut up!”

A/N: I was today years old when I found out I never posted the second part. I am so sorry I feel kinda bad ngl.

"Look, Tory, it was an accident. I only attacked cause I thought it might be you" I explain to her, even tho I don't owe her anything. "Really? Cause it's not what I just heard her tell Miguel" Tory says, and turned her back to me, walking away. "What? What the hell. Tory, hey, come back-" i call, but she ignores me. I can almost hear her little laugh, enjoining as things around her crumble. I hate that bitch, but she is not my biggest worry right now.

"You didn't actually hit her, on purpose, right?" Hawk asked  just as confused as me. "Of course not! I have nothing agains Sam, were not even In rival Dojos or anything!" I half-full at him. He looks a bit offended, but he quickly shakes it off. "Why would Sam lie to Miguel like that, I mean, there is no way he will buy it, right? You are the least violent person in, you know, Eagle Fang" Demetri says, highlighting the fact that compared to his Miagi-Do friends, I am very, very violent. "I don't fucking know" I say, anger slipping into my tone, "but I am not letting her get away with it". 

I make my way to the cafeteria, red in my eyes. Sam can suspect me, that's one thing, but making up shit about me so she can stay in Miguel's good graces is a whole other thing. I could feel my blood getting hot as the anger was bubbling inside me. I shook my hands in an attempt to calm down, fighting the urge to clench it into a first and punch that girl.

I entered the cafeteria and walked straight to Miguels usual spot. He was there, sitting with Sam. "I didn't know that the best defense Miagi-do teaches is 'bitch on, bitch off', Sam" I said. It's good right? Those past few minutes I've been thinking of a punch that is with words and not an actual punch. Sam looked at me, doe-eyed, fully preparing to deny her lies in front of Miguel. "Sam, what is she talking about?" Miguel asked, confused, and then when he got no response, he turned to me. "(Y/n), what is going in?" The words left Miguel's lips, and I looked at him, and then at sam. "Well, your girlfriend here-" I started, but I just couldn't. He'll be so hurt. If he'll see Sam for who she really is, he'll be mine, but I'll be just as bad as her. This is playing dirty, I think. I can't be the one who breaks his heart. "Is a lovely girl, and I am so happy for you two, that you found each other" I say, and with that I go away, as far as I can. My legs carry me, and before I know it I find myself at the Dojo. I throw my back to the side and kick if my shoes, getting into position across from the punch bag. "Stupid" I call out, punching the bag with my right hand, "fucking" I call, throwing another punch with my left hand, "morals" I scream, and kick the bag.

"I figured you'd come here" I hear a familiar voice. "What do you want?" I sigh as I keep punching the bag. "I want to know why you didn't tell me what happened" Miguel replied. I look at him, he's still in his school outfit, and he is leaning at the wall right next to the entrance.  "What do you mean by 'what happened'?" I ask him, playing clueless in order to avoid the subject. "Sam" he said, "she snuck up on you, questioning your morals and my loyalty" he explained, "not very cool of her". I let out a small laugh and punched the bag once again. And again. And again.

"Your stance is a little off" Miguel finally said something. He pushed himself off the wall he was leaning on and came close to me. 

"You need to like, raise your hands, you place one like so" Miguel said as he corrected my stance. "You need to have your hips turned, alright, it's all in the legs. Strong base" he continued, grabbing my shoulders from the back and turning me to him. He posed himself across from me to show me how it's done. I mimicked his pose. "Now throw a punch" he said, and so I did. He blocked it, and i recognized the movement as "wax on, wax off". "That was great" he smiled at me, "you know what wasn't great?" He asked, "you hiding the the run-in with Sam from me" he answered himself. I sigh.

"Look, can we just let it go? It was a misunderstanding, that's all" I say, walking away from him to grab my water bottle. "No, it wasn't just anything, (y/n), I saw you at the school, you were pissed, and rightfully so" he said, following me. "Yeah, I was pissed she lied about it and made me the bad guy, when in reality, there wasn't any bad guy in this story" I say, and started chugging some water. I can't have this conversation with him, at least not right now. "Hawk told me the truth, (y/n), Demetri said you looked like you were about to attack Sam for real, but you didn't" Miguel kept going. "Yeah, that'll just make her right" I say, holding myself back from confessing I just didn't wanna hurt him by hurting her. "She shouldn't have lied to me like that" Miguel says, "and at first, I didn't realise why, cause the only thing that she got out of it was me thinking less of you, and why would she want that?" He asked, "I mean, that's the only reason I believed her at first, it sounded so unlike you, but she had no reason to lie, except she does" Miguel continued. I looked at him, slightly confused, "yeah, the reason being she wants you all for herself and can't respect the fact you have female friends" I said, not caring how mean it sounds. I try again, but instead of breaking his silence he breaks the distance between us and pulls me in for what felt like magic, but was just a kiss. One that should not happen. As much as kissing him back felt right, I pull away. "Miguel, not to say I don't want this, but, uh, we really shouldn't. You're with sam, and I.. I am not a homewrecker" I say.

"No, no, I should have mentioned it before, I broke up with her" Miguel said. I want to smile, but I swallow the urge. "And why is that?" I end up asking. "Because I realised… I realized her jealousy of our connection is, well, it's justified. I like you, a lot, and I… I think, sam realized I like you as more then a friend before I did, you know, I was so convinced it's her I'm in love with, after all I've been through in order to get back to her.." he started rumbling, and I started to get upset. "What do you mean?" I sigh. "I mean that… look, I don't know what I mean, I just like you, as more than a friend, and I… that kiss felt pretty good, you know? And I… I don't know what to think or feel and this is so strange for me, cause like…" he tries to explain, but I'm done waiting. My instincts are telling to just leave him here, but for some reason i find myself pulling him back for a kiss. He kisses me, and the magic is back on. "Finally" I think, and I guess i thought out loud. "Finally what?" Miguel asks in between kisses. "I guess I… I was into you for a while" I admit, pulling him closer. I could feel how his lips curve into a smile against mine. "How didn't I see it before?" He asked himself, pulling away, hands resting on my shoulders. His brown eyes looked right into my eyes, shining in a way I never saw before. "You just.. saw me as part of the convocation" I said, and he smiled at me.

Demetri tried to breath evenly, but it was hard after the labored activity they'd just done. However, with his arms wrapped tightly around Reader's naked body, he knew he'd find the peace soon. Or at least what was close to peace.

She drew small shapes against his chest as she breathed similarly, a far off look in her eye. He knew what she was thinking of, or rather who she was thinking of.

"I miss him," she mumbled sadly.

He kissed her head. "I know you do."

He missed Eli, too.

She buried her face in his neck and sighed. He felt the beginning of small tears against his skin and wished he knew how to make them disappear. It was hard to go on without their third lover, but they kept going no matter what. It wasn't as if their love for each other died without him there, but it hurt more knowing he wasn't so far away. He just wanted nothing to do with them, at least whilst he was with his Cobra friends...

Reader tipped her head back as she moaned softly, that familiar scar dragging along her skin. It made her feel so special, to be one of two people who got to feel what that felt like.

His hands slipped up her shirt and squeezed her bare sides, making her moans nonstop. He smirked and she shuddered. "Hawk..."

The classroom was so quiet, her whisper of his new name was so loud. He chuckled under his breath and pulled away from his neck, looking at her with lustful eyes. She took whatever attention she could get from him, for it came in small doses now. She smiled at him, as pretty as can be, just happy to be in his presence once more.

"Say it again," he told her.

His hand swiftly moved down the front of her pants. He knew her body as well as his own, and wasn't surprised when he felt her wet panties. Only smirked as he quickly found her clit and started rubbing tight circles onto it.

"Hawk!" she yelped, holding onto his shoulders tightly.

"That's my name, baby," he grunted, leaning in to breath hotly down her neck. He whispered in her ear, praising her somewhat sweetly. "Keep saying my name like that."

"I just don't understand," Reader said, holding back the tears.

Demetri rubbed her back soothingly. He didn't understand it very well himself, but there was nothing he could say that'd make it any better. Eli had chosen his alliances, and though they tried to support him to the best of their ability, it wasn't enough. It hurt.

It hurt so much that having sex wasn't as great as it used to be. They gave into those urges, made out with each other and held each other as he thrust into her over and over again. They cried out for each other, came together, continued to have their relationship. But once the high was over, they reached their lows again.

Without him, it wasn't the same.

"I know," Demetri sighed.

Reader, so close to falling asleep, yawned. "If only he saw how there's no line between who he is and who he wants to be... then we could be together again."

As she drifted off to sleep, Demetri thought about how she was right. If only they could make Eli see that there was no "Eli" and "Hawk" then life would be far simpler. But they didn't live in a simple world. They lived in a karate infested valley where they'd have to fight for their love, but Reader wasn't a strong fighter...

She was sweet and kind. He didn't want her to have to fight anyone, but he knew she was struggling. She missed Eli just as much as himself. She was fighting everyday just to accept the fact that they had been tossed aside for karate and coolness. He hated it.

He wanted to say he hated Eli for it, for making Reader feel so down, but he knew better. He'd never hate him, he'd never be able to. Demetri Alexopoulos still loved Eli Moskowitz, no matter what name he went by now and despite him being a total jerk... He loved Eli with his who heart and nothing was going to change that.

He wrestled with the facts of the matter as he stared at the ceiling. But as his eyelids grew heavy, he let it drift away. He had no way of fixing what happened, no way to make it better, and he usually let it go before falling asleep. He held Reader close and kissed her head. She snuggled into him, still asleep, and he was able to join her soon thereafter.
