sibling reader is so fun! youre such a good writer!! what if sibling reader tried to sneak out? what would the brothers and spilnter do?
OOOH YES!!
BAYVERSE WHEN TEEN READER SNEAKS OUT
So,
You decided to sneak out huh?
Probably to go meet some friends after curfew right?
The only issue is, you got caught,
(Like an amature)
Probably by Leo, (Or Donnie)
Now, you have to face the consiquences of your actions.
Leo will be very disspointed in you,
They don't have many rules, curfew being one of the very few important ones.
Honestly, I don't think Raph would really care about the whole, "Out past curfew" thing,
He'll just be upset you tried to lie about it,
He values honesty alot, so you lying right to their faces is kinda upsetting.
Donnie is extremely worried about you,
Where did you go?
What were you doing?
Who were you with?
Did anything happen?
He'll lecture you on the dangers of a dark New York and how you'll be able do go out late at night when you're older, and more mature.
Mikey literally does not understand the issue.
I mean, come on, they snuck out when they were your age,
So why's it such a big deal?
He kinda just think Leo's being a bit over bearing.
Leo 100% give you the "I'm not mad, just dissapointed" talk.
And you most likely earned yourself a while in the hashi.
Splinter is obviously worried and wants to know where you were,
He won't be as forceful with the interrigating as he was with the boys when they used to sneak out, (Privilages of the of the favorite child)
But he will get it out of you eventually.
Oh, and Leo will most definitly ground you for a while,
Nothing to bad,
Maybe a week or so of cleaning the dojo and other chores.
They'll definitly keep a closer eye on you for a while,
Just to make sure you learned your lesson.
(Mikey is totally going to teach you how to sneak out without getting caught, he'll even cover for you while you're gone.)
.........................................
This one is kinda bad, but I'm low on motivation, 🥲

Reading All of Garfield (Up Until This Point) The 1980 Post
I have done it again folks. I have managed to be too overambitious in my endeavours. I really watched The Garfield Video and went "pssh, weak, only 1000 Garfield comics? They are three panels! That isn't too much, why wouldn't he just read all of it? I can read all of it!"
Ya know, like an idiot. So, now I am here, and by god I refuse to bend, I can and WILL read all of Garfield (up until 5/1/2024, when I started this fool journey). I have read all of Homestuck TWICE, and the Crowstrider AU (ALSO TWICE!! Sidenote: If you like Homestuck or even just have a base understanding of the events of Homestuck, but felt is was missing something, check out The Crow Strider AU, it is a really good and a well written story!)
I Refuse To Be Defeated by Garfield.
Unlike Jon who isn't even trying to save his food at his point. ALSO! LYMAN HAS BEEN SPOTTED!! Always weird to be reminded that Odie is not Jon's dog.
I know the joke is that his head swelled up because of the cold, but for a moment I thought his body just strank. Peak Garfield right here.
Oh we love a good Lyman living his best life right here~
Hey, Jon, you aren't supposed to be questioning things like that!
I am so pleased that Jon is actually a country boy that moved out to the city. I recommend this little arc because Jon's parents are hilarious.
Okay, now this one is a little interesting because it is the only one that I've seen that is black and white. Apparently this is because all the original comics were in black and white, but Jim Davis went back and colorized all the old strips! This must have been one of the few that wasn't translated to color, very cool!
I'm surprised that Garfield even cared, I myself have been known to eat myself some raw biscuit dough.
I'm including this because this is such a weird thing to say to anyone, let along your cat. Jon, please do not go onto Rule 34....
AWE, GARFIELD SHOWING SOME ACTUAL LOVE AND AFFECTION TO NERMAL IS SO NEAR AND DEAR TO MY HEART!!!!
Jon is the most accurate cat owner that I've ever actually seen. Me too, Jon, me too.
Imagine your cat calling you a bimbo for giving you a bath 10/10
Lyman has shown up again! There was a three month hiatus, but he hasn't been edited out of the story yet!
This is exactly how my moirail acts after they seek out shit they KNOW is going to frighten them! This series of comics is absolutely so fucking cute too and absolutely how cats act when you make eye contact with them too long.
I think if a thug was dressed like this and tried to rob me I'd think they were doing a bit at first.
WHEN WILL YOU LEARN!? WHEN WILL YOU LEARN YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSIQUENCES!?!?
I'm not going to lie, Garfield deserves this for all the shit he gives Odie. And if this entire arc is just Odie fuckin' with him, I support it!
:0 Garfield's family!? His grandpa is so scrunkly and I love how much Garfield is so excited to see him, and his grandpa is just so over everything,,,, After further reading I have decided that his grandpa sucks actually.
God, me too, Garfield. If I could get out of every awkward conversation by revealing new information about myself I absolutely would.
Oh, oh I know logically that Garfield's last name would have to be Arbuckle, but it has always been "The Cat" in my mind's eye. This was such a rude awakening to the psyche. And on CHRISTMAS too!?
I mean, he is using less power this way?
How....how did he fit in that bowl???? Like, the demensions are not demensioning! Either that or Jon Arbuckle is secretly The Doctor.

Unconcsious search for symbolism vs. choices having consiquences
Yes, I am trying to post it since last saturday
(Is it true that in Lviv schoolchildren lined up in the shape of a swastika on Hitler’s birthday?)
Many Russians found this image in this context in spring of 2022 on Twitter, Telegram and VK.
The link I attached to translation will take you to the rebuttal of the posts. There you can find that these are not schoolchildren, not in Lviv, not on Hitler's birthday, and it happened a long time ago. Moreover, if you look at the photo for more than 2 seconds, you will see that this is not a swastika, but very stupid decision to make a sharp-angled 55.
Unfortunately, my first encounter with the image and the context was not on the Internet where you know you should believe nobody.
Storytime: my dad, who works in subsidiary of Gazprom, got an invitation to a conference for the workers on the topic of world history. He did not have time to go, so he invited me, mentioning that there will be some discussion of "Ukranian special operation". I knew what that meant: state-owned company will talk about the war, they will try to justify it in all ways possible. But I thought that I need to hear arguments from both sides, so I went to this conference.
And then I learned that arguments from this side of the argument is A STREAM OF UTTER BULLSHIT LIKE THIS STUPID IMAGE "Oh look, schoolchildren are in a form of swastika. And you say that there is no nazism in Ukrane?" WTF?! OPEN YOUR EYES, NATASHA! YOU HAVE BEEN USING THIS FUCKING IMAGE AS AN ARGUMENT FOR ALL DAY OF CONFERENCES TODAY AND NEVER SAW THAT IT'S NOT EVEN A SWASTIKA??!
I wanted to say something in the end, but she chose to emotionally manipulate to finish up this circus, and put a video of Russian kids talking about their dead fathers, who went to the Ukranian war, and started crying herself as well. So it was a little awkward to say "Um, sorry, but this is 55", shy little me in 2022 couldn't do it (I think me from the present could)
When I think of this propaganda conference, I remember a term 'the firehose of falsehood' which which Wikipedia kindly defines as
"a propaganda technique in which a large number of messages are broadcast rapidly, repetitively, and continuously over multiple channels (such as news and social media) without regard for truth or consistency."
This conference did not attempt to be truthful or consistant (for example, the video with crying children was really an argument for the war to end, but other arguments were pro-war). The content of the conference was high-volume (there was a lot of images, maps, and "nazi" passages from Ukranian student books). And if we put the posts and the conference under one umbrella of propaganda, then it is multichannel, rapid and repetitive to fit the definition.
This technique is so stupid, I wrote an essay on it in WTAI (beloved object who? I hate mine), so I won't write it here again. But the lecture with Maxime and Devin's stories made me imagine, what if this kind of shape was tattooed on someone.
All this preface (I needed to share this story) leads to three unfinished thoughts about this beatiful photoshop I made.
Soo, this tattoo is definetely a chooice... The person would have to think that he will be living in society, where people look for symbolism and have bad eyesight
From one side, tattoo is only about a person tattooed. But actions have consiquences: an ensamble of getting this tattoo and showing it to people will provoke negative reactions. But if you do not have one or the other - people do not care.
And getting back to this picture. Can we say that the people in the photo and their organisator unknowingly became ambassadors of the propaganda? Yes, they do not talk, but their bodies (kinda) justify the propaganda's argument, without them there would not be the argument.

Tommy instinctively looks at his nails, which had long seen better days. They are messy, not necessarily from dirty long left behind but from being in the workshop trying to sketch out ideas last night. He was never really good at the drawing part of the process, often using other peoples templates to get by with his hobby. "They could do with a manicure," he admits. Tommy stuffs his hand in his pocket, his other holding on to the leash. Rue watches them, her tongue lazily slipping out of her tongue as she puffs lightly. "I do it once a year... except the last few," he doesn't bring up Rosalyn, though it's torturous not to talk about their shared niece. He doesn't know what Cordelia would want, and he seems to be in her bad books right now. "The company I work with helps me get a three month visa as long as I keep all my certification up to date... Three months there, typically work thirteen days to one off... then I come home and apply again if I want to do it again." Typically when money ran out, or things felt too clostraphobic in Merrock to stay. "I've only done it a few times. Always come back home." A dig at Jace, intentional whether they addressed it or not.
Of course he was. How long exactly had Jace been home? He had property, a job, a secondary job, and seemed settled in. No one had told Tommy, not the man before him or any that helped along the way. The reality is isolating. Tommy doesn't know if its consiquences to his own actions, or people following his parents because they held more power in this town than he. "I'm sure they appreciate the help." Tommy was the last person to tell Jace not to do something, though he feels the slow drip of worry seem in at the potential forest fires that come with the warmer season. "Just stay safe," he adds, an order if he must give one.
It was the first relief Tommy had in their conversation so far. There weren't kids or a wife he had to get to know, to impress when he was far from impressive. He didn't miss out on things like the day Jace found out he was a dad, or a wedding toast he would have given in a heart beat. A few memories he didn't have to moarn in a sea of many he had yet to discover. Tommy's jaw tenses for a moment before he forces himself to release it. "See, there's one thing I learned all these years that everyone drills into me. If it's all about ourselves then others shouldn't hold the consequences for it. It wasn't just about you in the end, we all dealt with it, and none of us got a choice in it." Strange, Tommy was rarely on this side of the conversation. He wasn't an expect on it, certainly didn't always agree with it, but there was some logic to it he could never deny. "All you had to do was show up. There didn't need to be a plan. Just needed you... you idiot. Everything else we... we work out together. That's the point. Isn't it?" Tommy did it for Cordelia, he'd do it for Jace. There wasn't an ounce of hesitation to the idea of reconnecting with his brother. Whether he was mad or sad over what has been, he was desperate to keep it from continuing.
There's a softening in Tommy's face as Jace talks about the army. It pairs uncomfortably well with the tightness in his chest. He studies his brother, etching into his mind his face, wondering if the lines had deepened recently or if they'd come to surface on the battle field. Tommy would never be able to relate to what Jace had seen, what he has done, but he wishes he could. "You found life again," he says it softly, his voice scratchy with a weighted emotional he can't quite describe. "In Wyoming." Tommy's eyeline follows Jace's to look out at the trees before them. "Did you find what you needed? Or are you still looking?"
Mining; that hadn't been something that he had predicted for his brother, but maybe that was because Jason pictured him in suits and ties, cuff links fastened, briefcase in hand, heading into the courtroom to make lives better, or solving problems that people had no one else to turn to for help. So he nodded, slowly, digesting the information and then shrugged his shoulders, "sometimes it's worth it, even if you probably have dirt under your nails that'll never come out," he could relate, from his years living in the park, and before that, but he didn't let his mind wander too far down that path, instead tilting his head, "so how does that work? Back and forth a lot?"
It had made sense, in the grand scheme of things, for Jason to be the one that threw himself head first into danger. In the army, in the forestry service, into fires, he had always been that kid that just had no fear. Riding his bike hands-free, jumping from the tallest rock into the swimming hole in the creek, some things didn't change. "I'm already signed up at the local fire hall," he admitted with a quiet laugh, "just on a volunteer basis, when they're low on help," but he wanted to do his part to help out, whatever that meant. "I don't think you need to worry too much about bear food -- I'm pretty well trained to avoid them." And thank God for that.
"No," he laughed, not because there was a lot of humor in it, but rather because he couldn't imagine himself with kids, truth be told. "No kids, no little wife waiting back in the camper or anything like that," just Jason, that was how it had been, and he was more than okay with that, happy with the solitude that he had created for himself in his life. The quiet. When the question was asked if he would have returned for the wedding had he not been serving, he knew his answer. And he knew that it wasn't going to make Tommy happy. "No. Probably not, and it isn't anything against you, and you didn't do anything, it isn't really about you, Tommy, or what you wanted or needed or did or didn't do, it was about me, and what I needed when I got out, what I needed to do," which was to get as far away from Merrock, Maine as he could, to cut ties, to start over. "And for what it's worth, I bought my land sight unseen from an ad online, and given that I came back to be with you and Cordelia, yes, I was planning to. I just didn't know how." And clearly, this hadn't been how he would have dreamed it up.
He found himself letting out a sound in the back of his throat when he was asked why Wyoming, of all places, because he both did and didn't know. It wasn't as though there was any one thing that had made him pick that state of all the paces in the world, but it had made sense. "In the army, some buddies of mine, we made a sort of like -- anywhere but here pact, where we all picked one place that we would be if we didn't have to be there. Mine was Wyoming. Everything was so," he scrunched up his face, "tight and dusty and loud and hard, and I kept thinking about all the picture books I used to have of beautiful state parks, and the geysers and mountains and fields and forests of Yellowstone were always my favorite. So I said there, Wyoming." He squinted his eyes to look up through the trees ahead, knowing that it might not have made a lot of sense, but it had felt like a promise that he had been meant to kept when he got out.

The 100 7x01: Discussion
My general takeaway from the episode can be summarised like this: Echo is spectacular. (I might’ve said “oh my god look at her!!!!!” and “ugh she is just The Best” too many times to count).
This is long-ish because I really just wanted to consolidate my thoughts in one place. Bitch it’s me i got a lot to say!!!!!
The Good Parts
— The farmhouse setting. While it’s existence is strange and “a sore thumb” and worked to further push Sanctum being the abomination born of clumsily mixing genres and time periods in terms of construction/costuming, making everything appear disconnected and obnoxious, it was still a nice change. It made me feel warmer and more comfortable as a ‘modern’ viewer. It’s a breath of fresh air from the constant dark element: dilapidated post-apoc buildings falling from their foundation, endless woods, and equally cold-feeling labs and skeleton dungeons.
— Echo. This was a damn good episode for Echo and every second reminded me of why she’s my favourite. She’s a badass. I always love to see her falling naturally into leadership of her little ragtag groups who accept it wholeheartedly. From the “testing a theory” moment where she went ‘when Gabriel doesn’t speak >>>’, to right at the end when she killed the solider about to “eliminate” Hope (hesitation is death...oh no he can’t hear us he’s got airpods in oh my god). It was Echo that got them through the whole sequence with the anomaly, Echo who figured shit out, Echo who quickly judged the situations and formed plans to overcome the obstacles. In other words: she did THAT.
Favourite scene: Echo coming face-to-face with the projection of her own insecurities in the form of Roan and Echo 1.0, and physically overcoming them (shooting them down), along with the trauma and pain that they both represent. The perserverence and getting the job done despite the emotional torture felt like a callback to the Psychosis episode of 6x02 when she was clever enough to sedate herself to silence the voices in her head. I also think the dialogue chosen was also foreshadowing that she would become a leader by the finale (commander?) and i love to see it!
— Clarke and Madi’s conversation. Oh Clarke, you just keep reinforcing and validating my perceptions of who you are as a person over and over again lol. In all her self-importance failing to remember that Madi, in fact, had and was raised by her biological parents for half of her life (and the new knowledge that she spent six years telling her little mind tales from the book of her life whilst apparently never taking the time to learn about Madi’s or acknowledge/honour her birth parents in any way) is “yeah that’s about right” to me. Sure you could say she was still reeling from the events of six and her death-almost death-almost death again. But I’ve always had this Thing about the relationship between Clarke and Madi. And i’ve seen some of the lighthearted humourous reception that scene got from fandom, “#where do you think the child CAME from?!” which only served to remind me of my own impression that Clarke views Madi as wholely ‘hers’, as if Madi’s existence was tied to Clarke, but i might elaborate in a seperate post.
This scene was a lovely display of self-awareness I’ve rarely seen on Clarke (never even got it when she electrocuted said child two seasons ago- however that absense of apology and acknowledgement of the sheer wrongness of that action also fits very nicely with my view of her lmao, still though, a weird choice for your ‘heroine’).
— Clarke’s “feels like a different world.” Felt romantically-coded. I think Gaia/Clarke might be the most convinient relationship to transform into romance at this point. However I’m sincerely hoping this road they could go down won’t reduce Gaia to a crutch/accessory for Clarke, and that she doesn’t become merely a love interest. I’ve seen talk already of Gaia being “Clarke’s happiness” etc.. which is already confirming my worst fears. Sigh.
This moment very much felt like found closure and the turning of a page. But i will say it was a very sharp turn from the three seasons of shoehorned-in mentions of Lexa, and last season’s emphasis on Clarke’s very-much intact emotional response to her memory- “it’s why you cry when you think about Lexa”- to her looking at an image of Lexa’s memory of her, reminicing but having no emotional response to it, and brushing it off while sharing a soft look with Gaia (and this is a few days since s6? I don’t know how this timeline is working but Tbh it’s not like these writers ever concerned themselves with ‘realistic time frames’ anyway lol). Yep, Jason’s seasons are individual “movies,” alright.
Other *nodding approvingly* moments
— Raven’s subtle “elevator eyes” on Clarke when she started giving her orders again. I see you, Miss Reyes, and I appreciate you.
— Raven + the foot in her mouth and the cute way she catches herself both times. I just love watching characters fail at existing LOL. She was feeling more human than stereotype or plot device this episode.
— "Mommy and Auntie O” and the implication that Hope is a child inside an aged-up body.
— This quote: “I know what it’s like to lose your family 100 years ago and yesterday at the same time.” It’s so literal but I like it a lot.
— Clarke being ‘leader’ again is, as usual, solely a matter of convinient (and familial/love) circumstances and it felt very true.
The Rest
— The Eligius Situation. So Clarke and her inner circle conquer and live in a nice home, and we’re specifically told Clarke takes the master suite (and the dog), and I was like ‘fair enough’ but then she orders prison labour. She tells them to build her a compound that they won’t actually get to be apart of, and to live in tents while they do so. They aren’t getting anything out of this (before they resist and set their own terms). This is slavery. Also, those aren’t her people to boss around, look down on, and use accordingly for her own gain (in fact they barely know her or why she’s gone from being that one unloyal woman who executed their men and got herself captured like an idiot, then couldn’t make up her mind about which side she wanted to kill- to one in the uppermost position of authority...like...they woke up yesterday) But, then again, that never stopped her.
— Too much and not enough at the same time. The pacing of the episode in general was awful. Too much happening in quick succession, no breathing room, too many factions (no, actually Raven, where is ALIE when you need her? smh). I blink, I miss an entire scene and a character is now beating someone else up. Amazingly, i was still bored 90% of the time.
— The Children of Gabriel calling themselves “The Children of Gabriel.” It was always goofy, even more so when a grown man is saying it.
— Murphy + his self loathing over Abby’s death. Did I miss the part where she was ever good to him? One of their final moments together was of her telling him he deserved to die over Clarke after she spent the entire series treating him like he was inferior and disposable. uhhhhhhhhhh.
— The picnic scene. Jackson’s sudden violent outburst was unearned (it wasn’t even set up???), and also disrespectful. Wrong place, wrong time, bro. He’s grieving? Okay. But when Abby’s daughter is sitting right in front of you, making this about you, ruining a perfectly good toast in her honour with your uncomfortable accusations loses you points you never even had to begin with. And this is a ‘me’ thing but I can’t be bothered to be sympathetic when this is about Abby Griffin.
Also, I have to say it. Eliza’s acting took me out of the scene every time I looked at Clarke. I couldn’t for the life of me work out what those expressions were supposed to be.
— Russell, his manpain, and a fury over the consiquences of his own actions that could rival the grounders (”my brother died in your ring of fire [while he was trying to murder you all]” hmm sounds like a you problem). But the worst part is, I simply couldn’t tell where he stood or what he was feeling. He’s so one-dimensional. He’s an evil man (so much for ”grey morality”).
— Clarke + Jordan. A small point to make but all Clarke has done since Marper made her ‘Godmother’ of their son has blame him for everything bad happening lol. Marper loses a lot of my respect as time goes on for that choice. As much as I dislike Jordan’s presence in the show, still not a great pattern to have noticed.
— Raven seeking approval from Clarke (specifically) for the Prime idea was...weird and very bad. When has Raven ever cared for Clarke’s validation, especially in the last few seasons?
Was also taken aback by how Indra and Miller are both suddenly so protective of Clarke, like i can make sense of the Indra part even though it relies on me making things up that aren’t supported by what’s on screen, but Miller?
— (Bonus moment that was bad for me, but not for the same reason it was for the rest of you: the scene of Hope finding the message in her arm. When she was removing the blood-soaked bandage I freaked out because I thought she was peeling her skin off. You’re welcome for that visual.)
The Mixed/No Feelings
— Clarke’s full-dark-no-stars. How many times have they told me now she’s “the head”? LMAO.
I have no actual formed opinion on it. Only disjointed thoughts. Like i might’ve just gone “good for her” if Clarke wasn’t the person she is, with the history she has.
I appreciate the idea, to have her spend the whole episode declaring she is, in fact, completely fine, to end it having her explode with the repressed pain.
I mean...i realise the cognition behind it, but it’s eye-roll inducing at this point. This- kicking Russell to death (giving him exactly what he wanted and set out to provoke), and burning down a palace she promised to keep intact, once again going against the group to do her own Thing that they all ultimately have the suffer the consiquences of and help clean up- is just a repeat of past patterns, and Monty’s “do better” mantra that she desperately clung to like she owned it last season is nowhere in sight.
(Also, I can’t be the only one who spotted her physically smacking that Sanctum girl as she walked onto the balcony? Not cool. Wasn’t cool when Murphy acted like a dick to one of them either this episode.)
The rushed switch did a number on me, too, like Jackson’s did. Literally five minutes before she was preaching about a peaceful life for Madi that doesn’t take revenge (I think I know what they were going for with that but it just left me feeling confused and frustrated).
Furthermore, I’ve seen talk that this was her “burning down of a symbol of oppression”, something she experienced first hand (not so unlike Blodreina and the bunker she desperately wanted to escape and deliver her people from), but there was no noble, calculated intention there. She burned the palace accidentally in her rage because she was in pain and disorientated. The moral stuff was just an after effect.
The speech was also very ‘Clarke’. Feeling entitled to and making decisions on who lives and dies right after declaring this wasn’t their kill to make. She wasn’t the only person hurt by the Primes (but we’ve also been given no reason to care about any of the other victims- the manipulated, enslaved population have been turned into a joke and a punching bag for the main characters which...isn’t great either). And the castle could’ve been used to shelter some of the “too many people” we had problems with through the episode (or used to harvest resources from). It really comes down to if i think the situation justifies the reaction and if i hold her wholely responsible...and this is the part where i reiterate that i have no intact opinion and don’t actually care to have one either ha.

Fictional Series premise
Rating: T
A story of a young adult misandry female gets suddenly sent to an alternate universe where her ideal of a world is realized. However she gets arrested for doing something terrible with a passerby man, thinking she's allowed to do it without consiquences. She believed that she gets out within hours, but she stays in jail with no bond. When she does get out though she is under strict guidelines as she has court orders to wear a bracelet for her crimes. As well as to do community service, which is to help men regain trust in women after something bad happened to them.
Story progression
From the beginning of the story, the bracelet appropriately shocks the lead for whenever she behaves, acts and just plain being a unapologetic jerk to men she talks to. Also when she talks to women about men in negative emotions.
The misandry female at first tries to complain and protest about her treatment and everything bad that is happening to her being sexist, but gets shocked by the bracelet that the court order her to wear. Later on in the series the bracelet calms down on the shocks when the lead gets character development.
The man that she's supposed to help has a golden retriever that is really agressive to the female lead. As to protect their owner. The lead finds out the golden retriever's genders to be female as well as to find out a backstory between the dog and the guy she's helping.
The guy ran away from home after a girl he had a crush on did something horrible to him and winds up surviving but lost everything in his name over her false claims. He was then approached by a stray golden retriever puppy as the puppy unconditionally accepts and beloved him. He found out that the puppy lost her mother at a young age and as a result, the two outcasts became close.
The main lead breaks down after she learns this from a high tech device collar that records the golden retriever's memories. As well as her openly talks about her past sincerely.
The dog realistically doesn't speak nor talk in this series, but she can express her emotions of sadness, firmness and protectiveness to the lead and others. The dog that the guy owns, warms up to the female lead after the ordeal.
The female lead's back story is that she lived with a single mom and having no memory of her father/knowing who her father was. She revealed to the man she's helping, that her mother practically raised her to despise men and witnessing her mother being a bitch to everyone and get rich for it. So she thought growing up, that being a bitch and be misandry to men was the norm. Due to her mom leaving her alone with racist grandparents that are too old to properly look after her, and that her mom barely being part of her life growing up. And that's why she hated men.
On her own, she realized that her being raised by a sorry excuse of a dysfunctional family causes her to have this kind of lifestyle that she doesn't want to have. As she psychologically comes to terms that she wants change despite her vision of her mother belittling her. To which she tells her mother in her mind to shut up and that she wants to move on, and be a better human than what her family is. By stop blaming and complaining and accepts her mistakes as her own and wants to be better.
In short:
The female lead at the beginning is a jerk towards men that gets her upcomings everytime that she behaves as so. She thought she lived in a world she wants, gets prosecuted for her crimes, and gets her resolution from her actions when she opens up to her dysfunctional raising life and gets a motivation to change. But it turns out in the end that it's all a near-death experience from getting struck by lighting and was in a comma for months. A guy from her experience that she helped rescues her and paid for her hospitalization. Her mother shows up obviously acting like she cared and being overdramatic just for attention. She chews her mother out on being a horrible person and a mother. She ends up cutting ties with her mother and family as she dates the guy that saved her.
Poster's Note
I made this based on how much I see people behaving poorly to one another online and kind of wanted to make a story out of it but being vague on the situations. I'm just being safe and letting you guys think of the actions when the words 'something horrible' is brought up. I wouldn't mind getting feedback on this idea though.
Thank you for reading. 🙂

Royce tries to be kind to Jonas and not scare him whenever they meet. - Rainbow anon
Jonas doesn’t get very scared easily since they kinda grew up in hell. If Alex is there they aren’t scared at all.

The Circle
Getting this summary and review down and out before it leaves my memory. Because it sucked. And just so you know im spoiling 90% of this movie in this so if you are already going to see it dont read this yet. Ill start by saying this movie had MASSIVE potential, and thats about the only positive thing about it. It was just utterly unsatisfying and downright unfinished. So to start, you have Emma Watson. Small town girl, very polite, has 2 friends, one likes her the other works at The Circle. Friend 2 gets her the interview at the circle and blah blah blah till she meets John Boyega (spoiler hes the creator) who seems to be probably one of the only beacons of sanity in this movie. Moving on, she learns that The Circle is a facebook like social network, but toss in some stepford tier robot employees and a freakish addiction to information. They help her parents with medical bills and all that charity work, but back on track. So freakish that the first time she meets the CEO (Tom Hanks) hes talking about how hes installed a global spy network around the world for ease of information and the main plot of the movie, accountability. "No more tyrants or terrorists running freely" blah blah blah. Slight worry on Emma Watsons face maybe 20 seconds about invasions of privacy, but still just a cult like "we must go further". Skip a bit, Emma geta hit by a boat while kayaking and is saved by these spy cameras who instantly alerted the Coast Guard that she was out there. From then on it seems to just dive into the deep end of the international spy network with no brakes, including a point when friend number 1 confronts her about a picture she posted of his work, and since he uses animal horns for it, the uber friendly and 100% "accountable" staff have been sending him death threats, no one seems phased by this and its never mentioned again. No accountability... Later on she accidentally tunes in on her parents 'doing it' with all the world to see, again, no accountability, she believes ahe did nothing wrong but the parents disable all the cameras to get their privacy back. Her friend begins having a continuous meltdown and no one else seems to notice or care despite it being everywhere with everyone able to see they have a small private heart to heart in the bathroom before carry on like nothing happened. Emma gets invited to a meeting where they spitball into the realm of total authoritarianism by suggesting they FORCE EVERYONE TO BECOME PART OF THE CIRCLE under the guise of increasing voter turnouts by lumping it in with the social networks, no one but friend 2 seems to even question this idea and she has another meltdown and storms off before shes able to make a point. Heres where it goes off the deep end AGAIN. They literally start up another spy network, using the original one, they get people to find a specific person like hide and go seek with phones, they pick a triple homicide fugitive, they find her in 10 minutes. Shes arrested, yay spy network, then some chucklefuck suggests finding friend number 1, (you know, the one they sent death threats to?) emma shows some hesitation but they egg her on because mob mentality. They find him in 5. Hes done nothing wrong, hes just sitting at home but now suddenly 10 people show up with cameras screaming his name saying " we found you" yeah, totally not invasion of privacy, tresspassing or harassment! He tries to get them to leave him alone, then drives off, they literally chase him the fuck down. And one tries to play chicken with him on a bridge till a drone nearly smashes into him causing him to jump the rail and die, thats right, they literally chased him to his death for no reason, no one is held accountable... Its never brought up, they never even take a second to even question what happened. Emma takes a short break to grieve and learns nothing. Calls her living friend who she pretty much forgot about till now, shes out, living in scotland off the grid, happier now, bye. Heres the ending. She meets up with John Boyega to hatch a plan, this is a huge plan, game changing! She makes the Tom Hanks and Patton Oswalt (whos character i dont even fucking remember the name of) both wear cameras, and releases all THEIR info to the public, Tom turns and quietly says "we're fucked" fade to black... Then it cuts to Emma on a kayak again, and a few drones around her filming, she says hi, cut to black again.... Thats it, thats the end. The movie rants forever about accountability, then completely skimps out on consiquences for MAJOR ACTIONS, no one ever faces anything negative for sending friend 1 death threats, no one ever gets shown paying for harassing him to death, nothing for T.Hanks. nothing at all. Theres also a few senators that are thrown in and never mentioned again... one bad, one neutral, she literally shows up to join, they never mention her again. So now you see what i mean by so much potential, but they just never once followed through on any of the messages they had. Its like they just gave up trying to point the plot to the end. All in all, it just leaves you hanging for no reason, every message they try to make a point on is dropped. All in all, id say 2/10 maybe 3/10 for initial effort.

Heya! I was just wondering where your negativity for Mark came from? I know about RESPECT situation, but as someone who has watched him for years, I understood his point of view was not of an oppressor however misconstrued his wording. He's raised tens of thousands of dollars for charity monthly, and frankly saves lives. So while you may not like one aspect of his life I just don't think it's fair to hate him as a whole. (Sorry for rambling, I just want to talk, not hate
You must really not know how antisemitism works.
How dare he demand my respect of someone who used an entire group of people as a punchline in a world where “death to all Jews” is not universally considered to be a controversial thing. ESPECIALLY in these times where Nazis are literally on the rise again.
Mark’s privilege shows a lot in this situation. He can look at his friend’s actions and forgive them when he sees people being reactionary (with good reason I might add) because his life isn’t put in direct danger from such controversial statements. His stupid centrist position about defending his friend is a lot more damaging to the Jewish community than you would think; people are going to defend assholes like PewDiePie before defending Jews who are victims of bigotry, hate crimes, and even violence because Markiplier is preaching “respect” people even if they start talking about violent ideologies with real life consiquences for that group of people. I’ll take this time to point out that the fact that it was a joke does not change its impact. So yes, until he learns his lesson and apologizes, fuck Markiplier. His response was absolutely the worst kind of response he could have given in this situation. If he wants to talk about “RESPECT” then he ought to look at how his own words and influence are going to effect the safety of others.

my ted talk on death parade
quick thoughts on death parade after having watched it in a new lense now experience grief and just the reality of life and death, especially suicide
i think the big meaning of death parade isn’t that “we live to die” its that “we live and then we die” because we all ultimately share the same fate, thats the one thing we all have in common is we will all die eventually regardless of if we want it to happen or not. a big thing i liked about it, but was also hard to watch, was how a couple characters had killed themselves, and upon playing the games.. they have their memories come back, and realized what exactly they did to the people who loved them- and how they never got the chance to say how they really feel, and took the life they had for granted, and wanted to go back to living!! they begged decim to bring them back to life so they could go back to their family and tell them their sorry, but they can’t! thats the ultimate choice you can make, is taking your own life, you can’t come back from that.. no matter how much you wished you didn’t do it now that you have seen the consiquences of your actions.
also decim allowing chii to see into the present to judge her, and chii was watching her mom crying 3 months after she killed herself, praying to her daughter at her memorial set up in her very empty home.. that she failed as a mother because she couldn’t protect her, and chii isn’t able to say anything to her. decim offers chii the choice to click this button that would take a random persons life, so she could go back to her life and not remember any of what happened while she was with decim... and it was decim’s plan to judge her based on that choice she would make- is judging if she believes her life is more important that someone elses out there... and after she really thought about it and was about to click it, she stopped, and remembered the other members who played the game who also wished they could’ve gone back, but couldn’t, and she has to live with that because life is unfair, and she shouldn’t be treated differently from the rest of them, because we are all equal in the end.. and that every human out there as someone that cherishes them- and choosing her life over someone elses she doesn’t even know, is wrong, and selfish!
also.... i really liked how frustrating it was watching the arbitrator’s make these extremely important decisions based on where they go from purgatory, which is the void, or being reincarnted. the arbitrator’s aren’t supposed to have emotions when it comes to judging the people who come through or have any kind of ability to feel sympathy or empathy for them. how decim was a new arbitrator who was made with human emotions to see the choices he would make in his judgement, and how chii being there showed him the reality of being human- so when she went to the elevator, he said he would be able to make better decisions on what he had learned from her after experiencing her sorrow and pain, and just horrible things we as humans go through and feel. i liked that alot because you NEED to be human to judge others, or how we can really understand what the other person must’ve been really feeling or thinking.
ALSO........ i loved how chii explained to decim about how human’s aren’t as complex as he thinks we are, and that we are just really simple. we cry when were sad, we smile when we are happy, we frown when were upset, just the very simple basis of being human... like how we all have that really basic thing in common is the roots of being human. the arbitrators have all their memories and try to draw out the complex parts of their darkness, which is a interesting way to judge a person for who they really are.... and like the process of the games geniunely had a good way going about the choices- because some people are just. fucked up. and have done very bad things, and deserve to be lost in a void, and not get a chance at another life.
anyways watching decim cry hysterically made me cry hysterically.. the anime is so underated and just. so fucking well written and animated. it’s like a short and bittersweet anime, with a extremely strong message.... it hurted

Don't sing if you want to live long
They have no use for your song
You're dead, you're dead, you're dead
You're dead and outta this world
You'll never get a second chance
Plan all your moves in advance
Stay dead, stay dead, stay dead
Stay dead and outta this world
Run fast, don't stand in the sun
There's too much work to be done
You're down, you're down, you're down
You're down and outta this world
Don't ever talk with your eyes
Be sure that you compromise
You're dead, you're dead, you're dead
You're dead and outta this world
Hear the unloved weeping like rain
Guard your sleep from the sound of their pain
Long gone, long gone, long gone
Long gone and outta this world
When you smile and it tears your face
It's time for the inhuman race
You're down, you're down, you're down
You're down and outta this world
Now, your hope and compassion is gone
You've sold out your dream to the world
Stay dead, stay dead, stay dead
You're dead and outta this world
