Kai looked at the rubber duck sitting next to his computer. He just read his entire code out loud to said duck but it still won’t run properly. And the duck didn’t warn him it won’t.

“Ugh! This doesn’t work.” He tossed the duck behind him.

“Ouch!”

Kai turned to realize he didn’t hear Adam come into their dorm… which is somehow impressive on Adam’s part for being so quiet and Kai’s part for being so focused.

“Sorry, man. This code is driving me insane. I want to send it over to Reeve to look over but I also don’t want to send it over and have him be like ‘This is 100% wrong’” Kai rubbed his neck and turned back to his computer. He knows its probably a simple thing he’s missing and he doesn’t want Reeve to find it.

Kai went to start typing but his chair was suddenly pulled back. Adam stepped in-between Kai and his computer and started typing something.

“Adam! Don’t mess with the code! I know you’re smart but I know you know NOTHING about code.”

“You’re right but Reeve does. I just sent it to him and you’re taking a break with me while he looks it over.” Adam turned back to Kai.

“You had no right to do that!” Kai stood up so he was eye to eye with Adam “Just because you seem to be ahead on your work and are bored doesn’t mean you can get between me and my work!”

“I’m sorry” Adam put his hands in the air to surrender “but it’s definitely the only way you’ll step away. I’ve been here for 20 minutes and you didn’t realize I came in. You’re hyper-fixating, overworking, and getting nothing done. I know I stepped over a line but I will do it again if it means you won’t work yourself to the ground!”

Kai knew he was right. Last year, Adam never stepped between Kai and his work and Kai’s perfectionist tendencies and ADHD had him almost to the hospital from overworking. Adam was just trying to help and take care of him. But Kai can still be mad.

“So,” Adam caught Kai’s eyes. “We are going out to do something fun. We’re going distract you until Reeve emails back saying what you’re missing and it’s ok that you needed help because Robotic and Megatronic engineering is hard as fuck.”

“Fine, but you’re fucking wining and dining me asshole.”

“Valid” Adam smiled and grabbed his coat. Kai had to change his close because his Pokemon pajama pants won’t cut it. Adam was on his phone searching for something when Kai came out of the bathroom.

“Let’s go!” Adam’s eyes were bright as he grabbed Kai’s hand. Adam pulled Kai all the way to Adam’s car.

“Adam! Not all of us are in perfect shape. SLOW DOWN!”

“Dude I’m so excited about this! It’s going to be so much fun” Adam jumped into his car. By the time Kai was in the passenger seat, Adam was buzzing. Adam’s excitement was infectious and Kai just smiled as Adam started driving. Kai couldn’t look away as Adam sped through the streets of Detroit.

Detroit is such an interesting place to live because there’s so many different types of people all smashed into southeast Michigan. So Adam could be taking him to anything between a cool tour of some car museum to Mexican Town having a deal on tamales. Kai really hopes its the latter. Adam’s mom has set standards for tamales that only Mexican Town can compete with.

When Adam followed the highway to the Riverwalk, Kai started to think they were heading to the GM building. But Adam turned away from it.

“Are we heading to Campus Martius?” Kai asked.

“Kind of! We’re going to Lafayette Coney then we’re heading to Campus Martius” Adam parked next to the historical coney place and Kai excitedly jumped out.

“Yes! I need a good coney! We can walk to Campus Martius from here. I’ll cover parking” Kai pulled this wallet out to put in the coins.

“No no no! Wining and dining remember!” Adam stood in front of Kai and took his wallet out of his hand. Adam reached around and put the wallet into Kai’s back pocket.

“I-i was joking” Kai couldn’t stop the blush from spreading across his face. Adam noticed and smirked at him.

Adam didn’t know what to do with Kai. The boy was adorable and smart and god they worked together so well. They’ve lived together for 2 years now in the dorms and they are a well oiled machine. It was almost impossible not to fall in love. But Adam truly did try. Adam tried to limit how much he talked with Kai over the summer so he could get some distance. Adam thought he had gotten rid of his feelings. He started to open up communication again and was ok with their relationship. Then Adam sent a snap of Captain America saying ‘My type of man’ and you want to know how this motherfucker responded?

I guess I need to work out. I GUESS I NEED TO WORK OUT. WHAT THE FUCK?

So Adam has feeling still and doesn’t know what to do. But here they were. On something that could be considered a date. Just, vibing.

“Let’s walk and eat” Adam said after he paid for the hot dogs. “I know the line at Campus MArtius will be long”

“Why?” Kai asked, mouth full.

“It’s the first day that the ice skating ring is open!” Adam put his hands up in excitement. Kai seemed to shrink down little.

“O-oh! That sounds fun! It’ll be great” Adam noticed the hesitance and feared he made the wrong choice.

“If you don’t want to ice skate we can do something else! I know there’s heated huts that shops rent out, the Riverwalk’s open, there’s a bar or two…”

“It’s fine! I’ve just never ice skated before so I’m kinda nervous” Kai fiddled with the wrapper on his coney.

“Don’t worry,” Adam snuck an arm around Kai’s waist and whispered in his ear. “I won’t let you fall.”

For moment, Adam thought Kai was going to jump away and blush but he was surprised. Instead, Kai leaned into Adam and said, “You better not.”

It was Adam’s turn to blush and become a flustered. Adam can usually serve out flirtatious comments like nothing but the moment they come back at him, he’s a puddle. And receiving flirting back from Kai, who usually shies away? Nope, Adam isn’t emotionally prepared for it.

“O-ok”

Kai laughed and laced his fingers between Adam’s. He seemed hesitant at first but when Adam firmly held his hand, a smile spread across his face.

“Let’s go get in line”

They finished their coneys and ran to rent skates. There were already a bunch of people on the small ring but Adam was ready to get out there.

“Ok! This doesn’t look too hard!” Kai watched people going around as he laced up his skates.

“You think so?” Adam smirked.

“Yeah! I’ll be fine.”

He was not fine.

Adam hit the ice and skated right off. He was able to file into the crowd nicely. He was graceful and obviously knew what he was doing. Kai on th other hand put on foot on the ice and immediately lost control. He gripped the rail like a life line tried to figure out his feet. They kept seeming to go in every which way.

Kai looked up and saw Adam rounding the corner to come back to him. He held himself up against the wall and pretended he wasn’t struggling as much as he was. Adam skidded to a stop next him.

“How’s it going?”

“Oh you know! It’s simple. Just gliding” Kai tried to brush off the fact that he could barely hold himself up.

“Come on. Let me take you around” Adam offered a hand with a small smile. Kai smiled back at his and took his hand. Kai pushed off the rail and immediately lost his balance.

“Adam, why is this so hard?” Kai clutched Adam’s arm like it was a life source. Somehow Adam was just skating like it was walking. Fuck him.

“Ha, for some reason physics doesn’t work when it comes to ice skating” Adam laughed. Adam pulled away little and Kai pulled him closer.

“Don’t you fucking dare.”

“Don’t worry!” Adam was trying so hard not to laugh at him. Adam held onto Kai hand and flipped around to skate backwards and pull Kai along.

“You just wanted to show off you could skate backwards”

“Maybe” Adam smiled “It’s also the best way to learn. Just focus on holding your hips steady and switching your weight from left to right. When you switch, give a gentle push.”

Kai followed Adam’s instructions, watching his feet and focusing on his weight. Kai found a rhythm as they made it around the ice rink at a reasonable pace. Adam smiled at Kai, unable to hold anything back. God, if only Kai knew what he did to Adam.

“You got it!”

“You’re right! This is easy.”

Kai looked up at Adam and he saw all the love and excitement. It was overwhelming. Suddenly, Kai completely lost all since of control and was falling. Adam wasn’t ready for it and fell with him. So there they were shocked, laying on cold ice, in the middle of a crowded rink. Suddenly and eight year old skated by with the grace of a figure skater.

“Tsk, lame”

Adam and Kai look at each other in shock then burst out laughing. Of course they would get called lame by an eight year old. Adam shift to get them up. Kai felt like a baby horse trying to find his legs on the ice. This rink really does seem to say fuck physics.

“Now that our pride is throughly bruised, can I interest you in a hot chocolate?”

“Definitely”

Adam led them to the edge and they stepped on to normal land.

“Is it bad I’m tempted to kiss the ground?”

“Definitely, this is Detroit. We have no idea what is going on down there.”

“Valid, not doing that.”

Adam was still holding onto Kai as they ordered their hot chocolates. They sat in the warming tent at a table. They talked and drank hot chocolate. They were completely lost within each other. Loudly talking about dumb teachers, and new Netflix shows, and that one kid on their floor who they swear is a wizard.

“No, I’m joking. He has a pet centipede in his dorm. I’m pretty the RAs are letting him keep it because they don’t want to have confiscate it. It freaks me out.” Kai laughed.

“There’s no way. I had a FISH they took away! I had to pull out a handbook to prove I could have him.” Adam shook his head.

“I’m sorry,” the girl that was working behind the counter came up to them. “It’s time for us to close down. You need to return your skates and head home so we can close.”

“Oh my god! I’m so sorry! We’re leaving right now!” Adam and Kai picked up their stuff and quickly left Campus Martius.

“Sorry I kept you out so late.” Adam said when they got to his car. He rubbed his neck nervously. Kai grabbed Adam’s free hand and pulled .

“Don’t be sorry. I should be thanking you. I really needed this. I would still be hunched over code, probably crying, if it weren’t for you. So, thank you.” Kai leaned gently into Adam with a soft smile.

Kai was suddenly kissing Adam. Kai wasn’t 100% what convinced him to do it but he couldn’t get the look Adam had on his face in the ice rink out of his head. Adam immediately leaned into the kiss and used his free hand to hold Kai’s cheek. Kai pulled back with a smile on his face.

“I’m so happy you kissed back because the drive would have been so awkward.”

Adam started laughing. He pulled Kai in for another kiss. His wide smile made it very difficult to properly kiss. Kai wrapped his arms around Adam’s waist. Kai pulled away and buried his face in the crook of Adam’s neck. Adam held him close.

“Let’s head back to the dorm.” Kai said. “I have a bag of popcorn and an illegal download of Mutant Spiders Paradise calling our names.”

“Sounds great” Adam unlocks his car and they went home.

I’ll get to those Magic Crafter Dragons I sweeeear But first, fun stuff from Discord. Dunno who made the original, it was just posted on a server, but yeet I did it anyway First of all, I don’t play a lot of games. I like games and the idea of them. I enjoy people playing stuff, I love watching others play. It’s that little sibling culture. But lemme toss a word or few about all of these. Though first of all, I only own 4 of the 8 games listed and even still I’ve only played 3 of them xD R.I.P. Pokemon Cafe Mix - The game is just Super Cute. Like oh my god Aesthetics! Adorable, every pokemon looks so nice and I just want to go to the cafe and taste everything and just chill. Please. It looks so cozy and relaxing. Gameplay is fairly simple too. Sometimes things seem a bit BS but in one way or another I’ll get through every stage etc. so it’s not too bad. Most of the time relaxing, can be addicting because of how simple things are. But really I love the game and I hope one day they’ll add more of the pokemon I like xD Buizel is my current favourite <3 It’d be nice seeing Mienshao or Mienfoo for one, maybe Glameow as it doesn’t get a lot of attention. We got Gogoat, but I wouldn’t mind a Sawsbuck or Deerling Pokemon Black 2 - To keep the Pokemon trend going, this is my fave out of the mainline games. I’ve been a fan ever since the first generation, I’m older than Gen 1 at that. But yeah, we did buy games but Nintendo stuff was too expensive and so I never really got to play those growing up. Black 2 was the first game I ever bought, for myself, with my own money. It was my first game and I loved it dearly. Still do and man I’d Love to replay it, but the curse of only 1 save file is cruel. I don’t want to restart my first ever save file. Currently I have no way of transferring anything over and I even have a Shiny Gothorita there (as underwhelming as it is, it was my first ever shiny). I love these games~~ Lots of different pokemon to choose from, great story, the fact that it’s a sequel is so freaking cool and unique I Love It So Much. Of course it’d be cool to have some extra things to do in it, like cleaning my badges, contests would be cool, I loved the mining stuff in Gen 4 when I got to try it on my friend’s Platinum save file as a kid. Speaking of, Gen 4 games would probably be my favourites, if I ever had the chance of owning and playing any fully. They have soooo much to do in them! Gen 5 is good and certainly up there in faves, but bruh, Gen 4 had all sorts of extra stuff, especially Platinum, and in HG/SS you had Pokemon following you like bruh that’s Crazy and I’d love to have that for a game I own, it’s like a dream Honorable mentions to Mystery Dungeon and Gen 6′s Pokemon Y for some grand memories. Firstly Pokemon Y, the second game I ever owned I think, great fun. I played that game for hooooooooours and it’s the only Pokemon Game that I’ve both played as a Nuzlocke and actually reset to play again. Also the first gen where I actually really got into competitive stuff, breeding for natures and stuff, and I’ve caught so many shinies in Y and Omega Ruby (mostly Y, OR has 1 shiny in Pidove, while Y has Ninetales, Pachirisu, Burmy, Gligar, and perhaps some other ones I caught/hatched myself). Mystery Dungeon games get a mention for having cool stories and I like the idea of the personality test and stuff. I’ve never played or owned any of these games, but I’ve watched Marriland play a handful of the games and currently am enjoying MDB playing through the first games in the series. Also a quick bloop on Colosseum being Cool as heck, and Battle Revolution gets a shoutout for looking so freaking good, having amazing music and making me search up videos with my favourite pokemon and just looking and watching hundreds of videos just because they looked so nice

Fire Emblem has to be the 2nd series of games I’ve gotten the most into. Although I’m a fairly new fan and my experiences and knowledge are limited, I do still enjoy the series and games - both old and new - a bunch. I only own Awakening, Conquest and 3 Houses, but I’ve again watched others play the past games a bunch, so I have some knowledge and memorable moments from those games too. Now I haven’t actually gotten myself to play 3 Houses yet, I’ve seen playthroughs of the game already and know the story etc. But yeh. Still, I’d say that I’ll probably like 3 Houses more than Awakening and Conquest. Awakening is nostalgia galore for me, but it does have its things with the story and characters and stuff. It’s nice, but I dunno, I just feel 3 Houses has an edge on it in some way. Maybe it’s just... Less controversial? Less Flame Wars? Maybe? Fates games, well, we all know the big glaring thing here. The story. And some of the characters suffer from this too. I kinda do wish that the Player had a biiiit more control in how the story went and played out, like I feel you definitely could have saved Scarlet in some way still, and all that. But eh, there’s enough stuff for me to go and prefer 3 Houses over it. And yes, I like choosing the members of my team and playing however I like, so giving me the ability to class my characters however I want is going to be a mistake as I’ll just make everyone a mounted unit and get destroyed but hey! Options :2 Variety :22 Great tiiiiimes~ Also it’s Blue Lions for me, Golden Deer Second Now for the games I don’t own. I chose Radiant Dawn because the Tellius games are just so good. I love the character in them, the story is pretty solid and the worldbuilding is cool too :2 I like both of the games, and while Path of Radiance is more coherent and doesn’t give split the characters up a bunch, Radiant Dawn has More of the great characters :2 Yes I know, not all of them are as fleshed out and thought out as the first game’s characters, but yo I still love them. I love a good continuation to a story. I love a ‘hey maybe it wasn’t as Black & White as we were made to believe’ twist. Also just hella good memories from watching BigKlingy play these games. The audience memed Aran to the final levels. We did it, he did so well, Aran deserved to be there xD Radiant Dawn also brings us Nailah, who is just. Yeah, you speak to me on so many levels, I’m easily readable. But also, woman, wolf, strong, yasss~~ Also I love the idea of the Jaegan character being a Thief/Assassin. That’s just so different and cool to me after all these Horse Units. And I’m the one guy who likes Levail and would love to see more of him. Give us more of Levail, the man who almost made it to being playable. Man. Levail is probably the one reason I’d pick Radiant Dawn over Path of Radiance xD The other game I’ve watched BigKlingy play through (and that’s my only experience on that game) is Sacred Stones. Pretty solid game all in all. Story, characters, but speaking of that story, if you really think about it, it’s Hella Dark, and that’s actually kinda cool in a way. I’m not that into dark stories, but here it worked. Also watched PhoenixMaster1′s playthrough on the Echoes game. I do like the game, if i find it one day I Might buy it but I’m not like in a hurry to get it. It was cool though, different for reasons but hey~ Also, Berkut, yes. I’m one of those people who like this angry man. But come on, he was really good xD Spyro I’ve already talked about in my lengthy little thing that I’ll get to continuing eventually xD But yes, I freaking love Spyro, my childhood, still very enjoyable experience full of great memories Metroid Fusion - Oh boy here come the nostalgia~ I’ve actually never played any Metroid games myself. I got introduced to the series in the early 2010s through youtube videos. I’m fairly sure it was me looking through dozens and dozens of Top 10 videos, several of which were on ‘the scariest bosses’, either unexpectedly scary or something else. But guess what, Nightmare from Fusion was in there, and I Think the person in the video said something on not wanting to even show the final forms of Nightmare’s face because it was that horrifying to them. And honestly? The fact that they didn’t show how bad it got, mixed with my morbid curiosity and woop, here I go~ Down the Metroid rabbithole where I watched a lot of videos on people fighting Nightmare and the other bosses in the game, eventually going into watching full run-throughs of the game and enjoying my time. Game looked pretty good, soundtrack was really nice too. And so I ended up on listening to a lot of the game series’ music and getting more familiar with the other games and the lore too. Learning to know that Samus was a lady was also hella badass. Fusion started it all for me, and while Super Metroid is cool, people also just play it a loooot, especially the Speedrunners, there’s also plenty of hacks based on that game and yeah I get it the game is Good, but that makes Fusion all the more special to me~ Devil May Cry 3 - Ok so again, I’ve not played any DMC games myself. This one again though is nostalgia ocean for me~ 2010 or such, I’m on some forum, said forum has a forum game based around songs or such and someone links one from this game. I Think it was the Doppelganger battle theme, or then I just found that one and listened to it for hours among the other battle themes these games have because they’re soooo gooood~~ DMC 4 was fairly new at that time, but I remember Gredo’s and Agnus’ themes being up there in songs I listened to a lot too. My experiences and stuff on this series was fully based on the songs, images on said songs, bits and pieces of the cutscenes of these games I saw and comments I read. I didn’t get too deep into DMC back then though, but I did have a bit of knowledge here and there, even if my idea of the stories in all the games was, well, I wouldn’t call it warped, but I definitely had imagined the story going differently to how things actually went xD Still, as a few years back I returned to DMC out of that feeling of nostalgia, and discovered DMC 5 had Just been released, boi, I was In. And I watched through cutscene compilations, playthoughs and what have you on all the games (Except for DmC, boot to you ReBoot), and it was quite the hype time~ I enjoy the chracters, the story that there is around them, and just how carefree and fun stuff can be. The party sure did get crazy~ Lost Dimension - The last game I have on the list there. This might be a weird one and I get that yeah. How many have even heard of this game? I sure wouldn’t have ever known of it without BigKlingy’s playthrough of it. But that playthrough was full of memories, I should really rewatch it one day~ I may not remember an awful lot about the game, but I do keep coming back to it in one way or another. I liked the character designs, the fact that all of them were unique and had their own abilities, there was a bit of story around all of them, the traitor system had you thinking & made each run a little different... That’s some Cool Stuff! The game might be a bit obscure and seriously not known at all, but for what it was, it was great and I enjoyed it a bunch! And now for stuff that wasn’t on the list but I kinda still want to mention. Because why not~ IB - This Almost made it onto the list, but I felt a little closer of a connection to the other games on it. But IB is one of those games from the early 2010s that I also got introduced to through the wonderful world of Youtube. I have forgotten the name of the person whose playthrough in the game I watched. But I watched a ton of people play this game. It was just. So cool. The puzzles in this game were nice and the fact I myself could solve and understand them too was pretty nice to me, and for some reason I just enjoyed watching other people react to the game and try solving stuff. It also had a couple different endings so watching and seeing what the other people got was also interesting. Great memories~ Witch’s House / Ao Oni / Mad Father - And all sorts of other horror games that kinda fall under this grouping and style and stuff. Yeah, IB kinda opened a bit of a thing for me as I realized I greatly enjoyed the horror games with puzzle elements to themselves + a bit of story here and there. There’s definitely much much more than these 3, I watched soooo many of these games being played by others. Ao Oni I may have discovered through my Hetalia phase though, HetaOni, if any of you still recognize that name. Daym. Although at first I didn’t want to watch HetaOni because of the portraits. Pfffff I thought the person who made them was being mean to some of the characters, but nah, I’d later learn that those were simply just mimicing the ones from the original game. But yeah, Ao Oni had a dozen variants and things inspired by it so those kept me busy for a whiiiiiile Hades - Now here’s a cool recent game! Again, haven’t played it, but it looks cool. The story is nice, character designs are God Like (hehe), soundtrack is super cool, aesthetics and oh my god everything is voice acted oh my gooood. This game is just. So cool. And the team who did it seems really cool too and are seemingly full of nice amazing people. This is definitely some great example work on how things should be done :2 Definitely something to look up to, I love everything about them~ The only reason Hades isn’t up there is because of its recentness and my brain not managing to think of it somehow even as I struggled to come up with stuff (I was mostly trying to think of stuff I had played, so that’s one thing. I even struggled to remember DMC because my current hyperfixations are elsewhere and that’s freaking Wild considering how much I enjoy DMC) But yeah, Hades is Super Freaking Cool Crash Bandicoot - These games I did play as a kid actually, the 1st one was way too hard and the 3rd one was my favourite. I like Crash, these games were nice too and I have plenty of good memories with the game, just not enough to make it up there on my list. Yeah it sounds stupid that I’d take out a game I actually played and replace it with stuff that I didn’t, but... Hey, my list Minecraft - Watched several videos on other people pllaying this game, I know of it, I respect it, but I’ve never played it myself and stuff. It’s cool but didn’t make it on the list Animal Crossing - Riiiiiight, these games seem adorable and I wouldn’t mind owning an AC game one day. I’d probably reset continuously though to get Skye in my town/village/island, she’s my favourite xD If the recent game had cost lest I might have gotten it. 60-70€ is just, a lot of money Persona - I guess I’ll mention these too. My experiences are through Bigklingy’s videos again. 3 is a fave, 4 seems cool, 5 I don’t know a lot about but it seems nice too. I probably wouldn’t be able to play these games myself, since some fights kinda need certain things and strategies and you can’t really just pick whatever and whom ever and roll through with brute strength. I mean, I Guess you could, but that might not be as fun in the long run? Who knows, but it’s not exactly like Pokemon or Fire Emblem in those regards you know The big conclusion is that I like all sorts of different aesthetic looks, mostly probably natural with some brighter colors in it. Stories are good, I love stories! Good characters with nice designs and backstories are really nice too. Things being thought out and built nicely is great you know? A little bit of strategy, fantasy here and there. Nothing too dark and gloomy or ‘hyper realistic�� or what have you. I guess no first person shooters either, though combat is fine. Games where I can pick and choose what to use and what kinds of ‘teams’ I build and the ‘members’ I use in them is nice. I do love watching others play, but with games like Pokemon & Fire Emblem I have that drive of choosing who to use and having my own unique experience kinda gets me to buy the games.

~~Story Begins~~

When Moon made the pledge to be a Pokemon Ranger in the Alola region, she knows for a fact that falling head over heels in love was not a part of the active duties.

Especially when she fell head over heels in love with a member of Team Skull. The Alola version of Team Rocket, only better dancers and a lot easier to forgive.

“Why do you always get in my way,” the Team Skull member that Moon would love to hate said to her.

“Why must you always try to bring innocent pokemon into your schemes?” Moon said back in response. “I mean, our lives would be easier if you quit that. If you quit Team Skull altogether, Gladion.”

Moon tilted her head to the side. “Not going to lie,” she said as she continued. “You would make a good Pokemon Ranger.”

Gladion snorted out a laugh as he threw the Pyukumuku up and catching the small pokemon. “I keep forgetting that you aren’t from this region. I’m not doing anything that’s bad, I am actually doing your job now.”

Moon placed her hands on her hips. “Excuse me?! My job does not involve throwing helpless innocent Pokemon into the ocean.”

Gladion threw the Pokemon towards the ocean and chuckled as the newbie ranger let out a scream of despair. “That’s exactly the reason why we throw them back into the ocean.” He walked to her and as he said the next words, he poked her forehead. “Because they are innocent helpless pokemon!”

He walked away and moved his hand to cover his face to hide that he had been amused by the Pokemon Ranger. Moon stood there with her fists clenched as her anger rose.

Gladion let out a sigh as he faced Hau. He hated to do this, but he hadn’t seen his favorite Pokemon Ranger in weeks and as far as he knew, Hau was her only friend.

“Where is she?” Gladion asked.

“Who?” Hau said.

“Moon,” Gladion said. “She’s hasn’t been the Ranger to stop me. I keep getting this wanna be hot-shot.”

“Oh. She’s been in the library. Apparently, Prof. Oak asked her to help him with research and he has a lot of research.”

“I thought she was a ranger, not a professor’s assistant,” Gladion said.

Hau laughed. “She still is, but she doesn’t take on many missions. Why? Do you miss her?” Hau saw the red tint on the pale boy’s face before he had the chance to hide his face. “Ooh! You totally do!”

“Yeah, right, not really. I already deal with loudmouths in Team Skull, I don’t need to deal with loudmouth rangers.”

“Sure,” Hau said not believing a single word that came out of Gladion’s mouth. “Anyway, you didn’t hear it from me, but a white birdie told me that Moon is going to be spending time at home with her mother. I would hurry if I was you. Moon told me herself that she might head back to Kanto.”

Hau couldn’t even start his next sentence. Gladion was already on a Rider Charizard and flew off.

“Dude has it bad,” Hau said with a laugh before waving at Gladion who was already gone. “Good luck!”

Gladion jumped off of the Charizard in front of Moon’s house before it even landed. He barged into Moon’s house because no one ever knocks in the Alola region. However, Gladion really started to rethink that choice considering that he saw the back of the newest Pokemon Ranger.

When the loudmouth moved to the side suddenly and Gladion saw a book flying at him, he ducked.

“Gladion!” Moon said surprised as she saw the Team Skull member looking at the book that hit the door and dropped to the floor. “I’m sorry!”

“Is that how people treat their guests in Kanto?” Gladion asked as he looked back at the young female who he may or may not have a crush on. (He totally does, but his brain refuses to let his heart say it.)

“What are you doing here?” the loud-mouth ranger asked as he got in Gladion’s face. “Are you here to steal Mom’s Meowth?” There was a thud and the ranger was rubbing his head. “Ow!”

“Can you be quiet for five minutes?” Moon said. “Oh, wait! No, you can’t. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be stuck helping Professor Oak!”

Gladion blinked as something slithered by his legs when the man turned around and faced Moon, he looked down and saw an Arbok wrapping around his legs.

The snake pokemon started to rub its head against his leg as it hissed.

“Sun, really? Can you be any more of an annoyance?” Moon said with a sigh. “Actually, could you be any more self-centered? I can’t believe you forgot her! You know she hates being forgotten!”

“I hate to break up this fight, but can someone get this snake away from me?” Gladion said. He looked at Sun. “Shouldn’t you be doing ranger stuff?”

“Arbok, get away from him!” Sun said as Moon giggled. “He’s our enemy.”

“Aww. My brother’s partner pokemon has a crush on you,” Moon said.

“That’s...great?” Gladion said as Arbok kept squeezing his legs. “However, I’m afraid to say that Pokemon are just not the species in which I have a crush on.”

He gently rubbed the Arbok’s head. “I’m also afraid to say that I already have someone in mind,” he said before the words could be stopped.

“So, what brings you here?” Moon said as Sun finally managed to get his partner pokemon away from the unexpected guest.

“Hau told me that rumor was going around saying you were going back to Kanto,” Gladion said. “Besides, you haven’t been around to stop me from doing anything stupid.”

“No, but I have been,” Sun said.

“Yes, but you are too loud,” Gladion said. “I’m not going to lie, but I have been missing my dates with Moon.”

All he wanted was to get a reaction out of Moon, but he was not expecting for Moon’s face to become a beet red while Sun was a stuttering mess and didn’t know who he could talk too.

Sun stood in front of the Head Pokemon Ranger Nanu who was actually laughing for once. Every time he managed to compose himself, he started to laugh again.

Sun crossed his arms and tapped his foot impatiently on the floor. “You done?” Sun asked.

“I don’t think I have ever laughed that hard in my life,” Nanu said. “I don’t know about Kanto, but there aren’t any rules saying that a Ranger isn’t allowed to date a member of Team Skull. Even if there was, she’ll still be allowed to date Gladion. He’s more like their handyman and not a full-fledged member.”

Nanu leaned on his desk and stared at Sun. “So how’s the long-distance relationship working for them?”

Gladion just said it as a joke, but since Moon’s face and her surprised look revealed that she has feelings for him as well. So, since she was gone, he started to plan.

He was a member of Team Skull and a runaway. She was a well-respected Pokemon Ranger reigning from Kanto. In Alola, gossip spreads quickly and secrets don’t stay secrets. At the same time, he wants to make a good impression on her too.

He looked at Type: Null and sighed. “What should I do? I know you like her too.”

Type: Null looked at Gladion before it yawned.

“Your answer to everything is to sleep,” Gladion said with a sigh.

No was expecting the Wela Volcano to erupt. So when it did, everyone was there evacuating the citizens and Pokemon from the park and closest town. Pokemon Rangers and Team Skull were working side by side. Hau and Lillie helping direct the people where to go.

“That’s everyone!” Gladion yelled to the Team Skill members and rangers.

“Nebby!” Lillie yelled as the purple cloud pokemon went closer to the fire. Lillie went to go chase after her pokemon but Type: Null stopped her.

“Lillie, go back to Hau and evacuate. I’ll go get Nebby,” Gladion said before turning around and turning towards Nebby and the lava.

“Gladion!” Lillie said as Hau and Type: Null pulled her away.

“Okay, Nebby,” Gladion said as he held the rare pokemon. “What do we do now?”

They were surrounded by lava that was fast approaching them. There weren’t any other surfaces for them to step on and the one path that was open, they wouldn’t be able to get to safety first. Not with how fast the lava was moving up the rocks.

Gladion looked up and around as he heard hooves quickly approaching. “What pokemon is still here?” Gladion said.

Nebby made a happy sound as a white horse with a horn came galloping towards them. A fiery mane went down the horse’s back and its tail was just as fiery.

“Oh, great. Our chance of being free comes in a fiery horse,” Gladion said. “Either way, I’m bound to get burned.”

The horse ran around Gladion before coming to a halt. On top of the fiery horse was Moon who looked at Gladion.

“Get on,” Moon said. “Her fire won’t hurt you. I promise.”

“I’m sorry, but I don’t see how that would happen,”  Gladion said as he took a step back. The heat from the lava licked the back of his heel.

“Gladion, do you trust me?” Moon said. He looked at her and nodded. “Then get on and trust me.”

Gladion swallowed and gave her Nebby to hold before he got on. He was mentally prepared for his clothes to burn, which wasn’t happening.

“Huh?” Gladion said in surprise. This didn’t make any sense.

“Hold on,” Moon said. “Let’s go, Rapidash!”

Rapidash rose on her hind legs and let out a loud ‘da-’ sound before they took off. Gladion quickly held on as he almost fell off, but he wasn’t expecting the Pokemon to go as fast as she was.

He saw the lava start to fall in front of them as they were about to reach the spot under the rock. “Moon, we aren’t going to make it!”

“Yes, we are,” Moon said. “We are already almost there.” She patted the side of Rapidash. “You know what to do.”

Rapidash let out a sound of agreement and Gladion saw two versions of Rapidash appear on their sides. Then she started to go a lot faster than what she already was as they cleared the lava before it could even fall.

They got to the designated site faster than a Tauros at full charge. The sounds of relief, curiosity, and wonder were heard as Rapidash came to a stop.

“Gladion! Nebby! Moon!” Lille said as Gladion got off the horse pokemon and took Nebby. Moon stayed on top and was rubbing the side of Rapidash muzzle. “You’re safe.”

Nebby went over to Lillie and made a ‘kee’ sound. “So, I’ve never seen this Pokemon before.”

“Listen up!” Moon said. “I know many of you are curious over Rapidash, but I must stress this. You are NOT allowed to touch her. She will burn you. She won’t burn those who she can trust.”

Sun came up beside Rapidash and went to pat her mane. “Exactly so unless she -” he placed his hand on her mane and pulled away as he got burned. “OW!”

“Like so,” Moon said. She looked down at her brother. “That’s what you get for leaving her in Kanto by herself!”

“So, she trusts me,” Gladion said as Nanu took over the situation and Moon got off of her pokemon.

“Yes,” Moon said with a smile as Rapidash nuzzled her. “I talked a lot about you when I went to retrieve her.

Gladion couldn’t help but smile back. He wanted out of Team Skull as soon as he could. He also made a decision that he’ll ask her for help to stop his mom. Then he’ll take her out properly.

Especially since their romance was forbidden...or so they thought.

the year was 181904 the team was getting prepared to summon a ghost that was said to be from a tree; this ghost was said to be called nature. the best way to look for this ghost is when you uses the symbols of Clarence from 2018. their has been a delay because lord Clarence had given 150 symbols to an ex he lost his clue to the life that started the path to hide the ghost called nature. when the Klan started out they would argued about the paper type of the tree, the difference of paper which one would call the correct ghost, and so fourth to meet the ghost of nature, the Klan got confused on the type of paper Clarence used in 2018 and talked about if the paper type was important in the summing of the ghost of nature the Klan had no leader only a table of information in honor for Snok Dair; how all lead to the internet he was making a way for nature’s ghost to live with him during the placement of internet it was said the ghost of nature was honored to be with Clarence during placement.
