You cannot tell me that Simon 'twisted samurai' Blackquill, LA's resident vaguely british man and total weeb with a special interest in swords, would not recognize Karuma on sight. I just imagine that Phoenix has it displayed in his office because of its historical and specifically lawyer-related significance and Blackquill comes in because he lost the rock-paper-scissors match against the other prosecutors to run their errands for the day and he sees that katana and has an autism moment.
There's also the lore behind the von Karma name that makes the idea that Phoenix ends up with the Asogi clan's heirloom very funny to me.
#I think blackquill has a Moment when he learns that Phoenix's japanese/ birth name is Naruhodo Ryuichi#because he would be the exact kind of person to know who those people are#at first franziska is so mad about the whole thing but then she thinks its really funny when she applies it to her father#the heir to the asogi clan legacy named 'karma' takes down the pinnacle of the family that named itself after that same object#simon blackquill#phoenix wright#asoryuu#its implied lol#they were just really good friends#ryuu was just entrusted with the asogi family heirloom for completely straight reasons#he passed it though his own family because they were buddies

imagine running from a horde of zombies after you were caught off guard and sprinting through a forest, hopeless and desperate because you can't seem to shake off this horde that seems to be growing in numbers, until finally you come across a shelter carefully concealed in the pinewood, almost blending into the surrounding landscape.
the man living there must have seen you running in the distance because when you pass by, the door opens and shuts like a spider's trap, and he drags you inside and holds you to his chest so you don't so much as twitch until you hear the horde pass by. and it's large. hundreds of undead groaning and rushing by, almost clambering over one another, still thinking that they're in pursuit of you. your heart is smashing against your ribcage because you realize now that there's no way you could've outrun them or gotten away - the man at your back is the only thing standing between you and certain death.
he introduces himself as Gaz and tells you that you can spend however long you'd like with him. he's been living in the woods since the outbreak and he's been stockpiling food and water since long before. one of his old army buddies bought the bunker almost a decade back - a real prepper-type, though he passed well before the apocalypse and left the property to Gaz in the absence of any family.
you're so appreciative of his help and you aren't one to look a gift horse in the mouth, so obviously you take him up on his offer and spend the week.
only when days go by and you mention that you're thinking of heading out now that the horde has long passed, he talks you out of it. seems concerned about what'll happen to you if you're on your own out there. you let him convince you to stay a little longer, but sure enough, after another few days you start to get jittery, anxious to get back out on the road because the last thing you want to do is overstay your welcome.
then you see the locks on the door. it's padlocked shut, the key nowhere to be found. you don't remember there being locks on the inside. that's the only thing you can think when Gaz comes up from behind you, planting both of his hands on your shoulders, almost as if to offer you reassurance.
"don't worry, love," he murmurs, bending low so his voice is right in your ear. "i'm gonna keep you safe. you won't ever have one of them chase you again."

Sheâs A Gun
Pairing: Joel Miller x fem!reader
Authorâs note: *John Mulaney voice* My wife is a bitch and I love her SO much (gif by @salome-c) I also didnât know how to end this so sorry
Summary: Somebody didnât give the new guy a heads up about talking about Joel Millerâs family [1.6k]
Warnings: idiots in love, a quick mention of a queer slur, I canât think of anything else!!
You catch him looking at you across the room as you sip some new whiskey Tommy traded for. He looks young and fresh-faced without many scars or littering the surface of his skin. His eyes are bright when they meet yours, and you give him a polite smile before returning to your drink. Unsurprisingly, he bellies up to the bar a few minutes later. You glance at the door, and the man follows your gaze.Â
"You meeting someone?" He asks. The bartender, a kind man named Nick, flashes you a look, but you wave him off, turning to the younger man, who is dead set on making his presence known.Â
"You must be new." You say, and he laughs as he holds out his hand.Â
"You got me. I'm Luke," He says. You meet him halfway and shake his hand, giving him your name. "Where are you from?"
"I came here from Boston."
"You're a long way from home. What brought you here?"Â
"Long story."
"Is it longer than the time it would take to get you another drink?"Â
"I can get my own drink, but thank you."
"'Course," he says but doesn't move from his place next to you. "What do you do here in Jackson?" He asks, and you open your mouth to say something, but he cuts you off. "Let me guess. School teacher. No, a nurse."
"I work patrols, but good guess."
"Oh, I'm going to work patrols, too. I actually just signed up for my first shift tomorrow. Speaking of which, do you know anything about this guy⌠Miller, I think, is his name. I heard he's a hard ass."
"Joel or Tommy?"
"There's multiple?" He asks, and you smirk as you sip your drink.
"There's a few of 'em hanging around, yeah. What did they say? Maybe I can," you shrug and try to hide the amusement in your voice. "Help you figure it out."
"Well, this guy, Seth, said Miller shouldn't even be in Jackson. Something about him killing people to get by before coming here, but he gets to stay because he's buddies with Maria. Apparently, he's a hell of a shot, though. I heard a rumor that he once shot an Infected from a mile away, but I'll believe it when I see it." He says, and you nod.Â
You remember that day well. Tommy had been bragging about his marksmanship, mostly telling big fish stories, and you finally got sick of it. Joel told you to leave it, but you had to see. When you went on patrol the next day, you and Tommy had a competition to see how far he could actually shoot. You passed the gun back and forth to see who could hit accurately and how far. You were the one holding the gun when the Infected bound his way up the hill and quickly went down as the bullet buried in his skull. You didn't think that story would've made the rounds, though.Â
"What else did Seth say?" You ask, and he puffs his cheeks out as he shakes his head.
"He told me to stay away from him. Something about not fucking with people like that because he's ruthless, especially when it comes to his kid. He said Miller yelled at him last week because he said something to her. Just... totally lost his mind like a crazy person." It wasn't just something. He called my daughter a dyke, you think to yourself. Joel may have pushed him and made him leave, but you threatened to ruin his fucking life. If you ever hear him say something like that to Ellie again, you'll make Joel look like the poster child for forgiveness. You bite the inside of your cheek and save that information for later.Â
Seth wasn't warning Luke about Joel. He was warning him about you.
"And you're sure he was talking about a man?"
"Pretty sure. I mean, I know people do lots of shitty things to stay alive, but I can't imagine a woman instilling that much fear in a man like Seth," He says, and you hum. "No offense."
"None taken." You smile and watch his guard come down just enough for him to feel comfortable reaching for your arm.
"I wish I had known they let women as beautiful as you out on patrol. I would've signed up with you instead of Miller." He says, and you almost gag. Joel's hand skims your lower back almost as if on cue, and you turn to face him. He kisses you a second too long before looking over your shoulder to face the stranger who looks embarrassed. His arm wraps protectively around your middle, and he's close enough that you can smell his shampoo over the barâs stench of stale beer.
"Great timing. This is Luke. He's starting patrols tomorrow," You say. Joel reaches across the space to shake his hand, and Luke winces at his too-tight grip. "Luke, this is my husband, Joel Miller," you wish you had a camera to take a picture of the stunned look on his face when he hears the last name. "Joel, we were just talking about the last time I was on patrol with Tommy."
"You're Miller?" Luke asks, suddenly looking pale. "Why didn't you say anything?"
"Oh, I thought I mentioned it. I'm sorry, I'm probably losing my mind." You echo Seth's words and smack yourself on the forehead dramatically. Luke drains his drink before glancing around the room.
"It was great to meet you, man. Um, I'm gonna run to the bathroom really fast." He says and takes several steps away from the bar.Â
"Oh, so soon? I was hoping you and Joel could talk about routes."
"Maybe later." He says, and with that, he's gone. You smile and turn in Joel's arms to face him.
"Jesus, I thought he was going to have a heart attack. What did you say to him?"Â
"Seth was warning him about the mercenary who's buddies with Maria and shot an Infected from a mile away, asked if I knew anything about the guy."
"Seth should learn to keep his fuckin' mouth shut." He grumbles, and you nod.
"It didn't help his case that he tried flirting with me. Even asked if I was a school teacher." You say, and he gives you a look. His warm fingers reach under your shirt collar to pull out the chain with your wedding band on it.
"Maybe if you actually wore this, that wouldn't happen so often."
"C'mon, everybody knows I'm yours. It's not my fault no one gave him the run down," you say, and he tugs on the chain to kiss you, his big hands moving to hold your jaw. He swallows your gasp when he licks into your mouth, sending a zing of electricity down your spine. He's a touch too handsy for a public space, but you're not complaining. "I don't see you wearing yours out on patrol either." You say, pulling away before he can start something he can't finish, at least not in public. Still, his hand slips into your back pocket, squeezing your ass through the denim.
"Don't want to lose a finger. Besides, everybody knows I'm yours," he parrots, and you smile. A familiar, old country song plays over the speakers, and Joel lights up at the first few chords. "Will you dance with me?" He asks, pressing light kisses to your jaw to butter you up. You lock your arms around his shoulders and let yourself forget about everyone else in the bar.Â
"And to think there was a time when you hated PDA."
"That was before someone tried hittin' on my wife," he says, and you feel like your face will get stuck from smiling so much. It's been three months since the small backyard wedding officiated by Tommy and Maria. Ellie walked you down the aisleâ more of a patch of grass than anything elseâ and acted as your maid of honor. When Tommy asked if she agreed to give you to Joel, she said, "it's not like she's fucking property, but sure." She beamed so brightly when she realized you each included her in your vows, promising to love and protect her as much as you love and protect each other. It wasn't planned, but the unexpected matching further proved that you three are a family. Still, you don't know if you'll ever get used to hearing Joel call you his wife. "Dance with me, please." He pouts into your neck, and you finally give in, grabbing his hand and leading him to the dance floor.Â
He pulls you close, and you bury your face in his neck as you slowly dance to Tanya Tucker's voice. He sings along for only you to hear, his accent getting stronger as he does. You could stay like this forever, wrapped up in him and listening to him sing the same song you used to sing along to while driving on backroads. You would marry him again if you could. You think you would marry him in every lifetime.
Scary rumors of mercenaries and blood on your hands fade from your mind. To men like Seth and Luke, you are a subversion of their holy mother. You are bloody and broken, a monster beyond saving. You are a warzone with a heartbeat.
But to Joel, you are the most sacred thing he's ever held. It's not enough to erase the rumors and nightmares about you, but it's enough to knock the wind out of you and make you love your husband that much more. That has to count for something.Â

IF YOU LOVE ME, LET ME KNOW | jack hughes.
chapter two:
<last chapter> <next chapter>
â´ warnings: none <3
â´ word count: 2.5k
â´ authorâs note: this is pure fluffiness, the calm before the storm, the hughes being the best family in the world and jack making my heart MELT (i literally wrote him). i hope u guys enjoy this too. let me know what u think of this one:))
âAND that, my loves, itâs a wrap on ârip to my feelingsâ!â Grace yelled, and everyone yelled too.
You were in your studio with all of your producers and song-writers, plus Grace, and you had just finished recording the last song on your album.
You were beyond happy. Finishing this meant getting over everything Harris did to you. It was like closure. It was like restarting again.
âGuys, Iâm so fucking happy, I love you all so much I could kiss you on the mouth right now,â you said, hugging Johnâ the main producer.
âDonât think Jack would appreciate that,â Grace mumbled when you hugged her, and you smacked her butt.
Jack.
You had sent him the demo of the album as soon as it was sent to your phone, not really sure why. You just wanted his opinion, thatâs all.
Not much fuck buddy of you but whatever!
âFuck off, Grace Morgan,â you fake whispered, laughing.
You all celebrated and laughed for hours, the time passing quickly whenever you spent it with the people you loved. You were grateful for having so many amazing people in your life, helping you to make your dreams come true.
Your phone rang, and you picked it up, unlocking it and smiling when you saw who had texted: Jack.
It was funny seeing how he complimented you in his own little, weird way. It made your heart beat in the wrongâ rightâ way all over again.
âDid he just ask you on a date?â Grace whispered, probably reading your texts over your shoulder. Everyone else had already leftâ it was late, after allâ and only Grace was left. You were sure she was probably going to sleep at your place anyway.
âI guess? We never just âhanged outâ before.â You sighed, replying to Jackâs texts.
âWoah,â she whistled, sitting back on the couch, looking at you funny. âAre you in love?â
âWhat?â You laughed, locking your phone. âWhat do you mean, weâve been fucking for six months only. Chill.â
âGirl, like time matters to you!â She raised her arms. âYou fell in love with that piece of shit in like three weeks, imagine with Jack, who fucks you every other week and treats you like youâre the most precious thing ever.â
âExcuse me? Are we talking about the same Jack?â You scoffed, crossing your arms. âJack doesnât treat anyone differently. Besides his family, that is.â
âLike the shit he does for you isnât anything special, right? Like knowing your Five Guys order, or your favorite movies, or how you eat apple pie before your concerts,â she started listing those things on her fingers.
âHe doesnât know those things!â You raised your voice, trying to convince both you and her.
âGirl, I love you but stop playing dumb. He knows and you know he does! Why are you pretending that he doesnât care about you? He just asked you on a date, for fuckâs sake.â She rolled her eyes.
âFirst of all,â you started, mentally listing your reasons. âWe donât know if itâs a date. He just said: dinner. He didnât say âI wanna take you out on a dateâ. Second of all, Iâm not denying anything, but I think I would know if I was in love with him, wouldnât I?â
Actually. The answer was probably no. Harris fucked up your perception of love, and even though itâs been more than a year that you broke up with him, you still feel like you canât really trust anyone anymore.
So you wouldnât exactly be able to tell if you are in love or not. At least, you donât think so.
But talking about love with your fuck buddy? Hell. No.
âYou piss me off.â Grace bickered, turning the TV on. âGo change to your little date. Iâll be here, all alone and sad.â
âPff, shut up. Youâre just alone because you and Nico are dumbasses.â You said like it was a matter of fact and left the leaving room, leaving a very pink Grace behind.
Changing didnât take long, and applying a light makeup didnât either. You werenât going to do anything special because, letâs be real, if you and Jack decided to be reckless and fuck somewhere, that makeup wouldnât last long. So, why bother?
You left your house, saying goodbye to Grace and kissing her cheek. Jackâs fancy ass car was in front of your garage and you smiled, entering it.
âHi, Jackie boy,â you greeted him, noticing how fucking good he looked, wearing his burgundy suit. Thank god to whoever created the suit rule in hockey. Youâll forever be grateful.
âHey.â He greeted back, and did something surprising. He kissed you. Softly, and not like any other kiss youâve shared in the past.
And that didnât do anything to help the little cardiac arrest you had every time you were around him.
âAre we ready to rock our lasagna?â You asked, half embarrassed and half confused with what you were feeling. Food always made it better though.
âWe sure are.â He smiled before starting the car again.
The silence was comfortable but your thoughts were too loud so you took the liberty of turning the radio on, scaring yourself with how loud the music playing was. And, shockingly, your music. Already Over was blasting through the speakers.
You looked at him, and he just shrugged, cheeks red.
âWere you listening to my music on the way to my place?â
âYeah, why not? Itâs good,â he blushes so cutely you find yourself wanting to chomp a piece of his cheek.
âYouâre so cute, Jackie. Thanks, means a lot,â you had a feeling you were blushing too, and you thanked God he wasnât looking at you. âIâm excited to release it.â
âWhen are you doing it?â He asked, making a U turn.
âBeginning of the next month. Now I have to take pictures and set up the concept for it. Itâs my favourite part.â
âAre you doing any music videos with a guy dying?â He asked and you stared at him, once again surprised. Had he been watching your music videos? All of them? âWhat?â
âAre you a fan?â You giggled, genuinely happy. Harris hated to talk about your work, and he never listened to your songs for more than ten minutes.
âNico forces us to listen to your songs and watch your music videos,â he answered, nonchalantly. You smiled, nodding your head. âDonât look at me like that.â
âLike what?â You played dumb.
âLike that. You have this little minx stare that you do whenever youâre plotting something.â He smiled this time, and God if the sight didnât make you feel full.
âYouâre no fun,â you sighed, looking at the view. âAlso, where is this restaurant? Weâve been driving for at least twenty minutes and nothing in Jersey takes more than that.â
âThe restaurant is actually my parentsâ house.â He says, like itâs nothing.
âWhat?!â You yelled, turning your head in his direction. âWhat do you mean youâre taking me to your fucking parentsâ?â
âYeah. Maâs making lasagna for you.â
Your cheeks were burning hot and you had this bubbly feeling inside of you. You were feeling something really weird and you started to wonder if Grace was right andâ
âSoph?â You heard his voice, gentle and soft. You looked at him, noticing that he wasnât driving anymore, and that the car was now parked in front of a big, beautiful, colonial house. His parentsâ house. âWe can go back if you want to, baby. Ma wonât be angry or anything like that.â
Stop making me want to trust you, Jack.
He caressed your cheek, and you snapped out of it. âNo, itâs fine. I just⌠you couldâve said something, yâknow? Iâm wearing sweatpants.â You tried to make a joke, smiling. He smiled too.
âIâll put on some sweatpants too, so weâre matching,â
âRight.â
You left the car, taking a deep breath. It was just his parents. You werenât even dating so it would be fine.
Wait.
âWhat did you tell them? That youâre bringing one of the girls youâre fucking home?â You asked just before you walked in their property.
He raised an eyebrow at you, scowling. âFirst of all, Iâm not fucking anyone else. Itâs just you. Second of all, I told them Iâm bringing a friend.â
You nodded, not trusting yourself to do anything else.
Heâs not fucking anyone else? Jack Hughes? The man whore of the NJ Devils?
Yikes, sure.
You both walked into the house, Jack not bothering knocking before entering it. A delicious smell of fresh tomato sauce and herbs reached your nose and you could swear your mouth was watering.
âMa, weâre here!â Jack yelled, making you jump a little bit. You eyed him before facing the woman in front of you, who was absolutely gorgeous. She looked so fucking young and pretty, and you were biting your tongue, trying not to say something stupid. âHi, Ma, this is Soph. Soph, thatâs Ellen, Ma Hughes,â
âHi, Mrs. Hughes. Nice to meet you.â You said, certain that your cheeks were on flame.
Ellen took a step closer, smiling. âHi, darlinâ. No need for formalities, dear, itâs just Ellen. I would hug you but,â she pointed at her apron and shrugged. âA bit dirty.â
âThank you for having me.â
âNo, thank you for making this guy over here visit me,â she slapped Jackâs shoulder, both of them smiling together. âHe only called because he said you wanted to eat lasagna and he loves mine so thatâs why heâs here.â
If your face wasnât going to melt before, it definitely was now. You were going to kill Jack. For real this time.
âCome on, Ma, I canât be worse than Luke and Quinn. They donât even remember your address anymore,â was Jack actually pouting? Jesus. Your heart was not ready to see that.
âStop throwing us under the bus, dickhead.â Lukeâs voice was heard and you and Jack both watched as both Quinn and Luke entered the room. ââSup, Soph.â
âHi, Luke. Hi, Quinn,â you greeted them with cheek kisses, not even wanting to acknowledge that you had actually missed them. âLong time no see.â
âHey, Soph,â Quinn quietly answered, not a single thought behind those eyes. âGreat to see you.â
âI hope youâre all hungry because your mom outdid herself tonight,â Jim, the dad, said, smiling when he noticed you. âHello there. Iâm Jim.â
âHi,â you whispered, mortified with all the attention you were getting. Some would think that performing for big crowds would make you less anxious to meet people. Nope. âIâm Sophia. Thank you for having me.â
âItâs fine, as my baby was saying, we do need our son to visit more.â
As they discussed why Jack didnât visit them more frequently, you felt Jackâs arms around your waist and his mouth on the tip of your ear. You froze. âYeah, they call each other baby and honey. Sorry about that.â
You managed to smile, trying not to get his familyâs attention. They certainly wouldnât understand why he was this close to a friend.
âI think itâs cute.â
The dinner went awesomely well. The lasagna was amazing and Ellen and Jim were the cutest couple ever, you could see how theyâve raised three amazing men.
They asked questions about what being a postar meant nowadays, and what was it like during your tours, and how could someone sing and dance at the same time, and have you ever met Adele?
Theyâre great people. Even Quinn and Luke, who had talked to you before on different occasions, made sure you were included in every topic, and Luke even asked for a signed cap so he could wear it at UMich.
âDo you guys know what we should definitely do?â Ellen started, after forcing all of the boys to organize the kitchen and do the dishes, while you sat with her drinking wine. Yeah, you loved her. âKaraoke. Let Soph here show us how good she is.â
âMaa,â you could hear Luke whining, while running his hands through his beautiful curls. âYou do this every time.â
âYouâll make her work on her day off? Thatâs wild, Ma.â Jack joked, putting his arms around your shoulder. You froze again, looking at the expressions of his family, trying to picture anything out of place.
No one was looking at you weirdly, besides Ellen who plastered the most gorgeous smile youâve ever seen, which made you smile too.
âI donât mind singingâŚâ you said, softly.
âPerfect!â Ellen stood up from her seat, pouring more wine on her glass. âJim, set the karaoke thing on.â
âItâs called YouTube, Ma.â Jack rolled his eyes.
âLeave your mom alone, ugly face,â Jim called him out, on his way to do exactly what Ellen asked. âSophia, can you sing some Elvis?â
âYes, âcourse.â You also got up, discussing with Jim which song he wanted you to sing.
âTell her to sing our song, honey!â Ellen yelled from the dinner table.
âAh, yes, yes.â
Turns out that their song is Canât Help Falling in Love, which was so freaking sweet. You sang the romantic lyrics while Jim and Ellen danced with each other, swinging slowly and delicately.
Quinn and Luke were recording themselves with you singing in the background, while you waved happily to the camera.
Jack was sitting on the couch, watching you sing. You could feel his eyes on you, observing your every move, smiling whenever youâd hit a high note or change the songâs rhythm.
It was nice. So, so nice. The Hughes were such nice people and you felt so safe and adored around them. They asked you to sing more songs and when you noticed, you were singing an upbeat song with Jim and dancing between Quinn and Luke while Ellen filmed everything. Until Jack grabbed you again and made you sing in front of him, for him. And boy, how you wanted to kiss him. His blue eyes were shining brightly and he looked just as happy as you felt.
You ended the singing when it was around midnight, everyone exhausted and sweatyâ even if it was winter.
You started saying your goodbyes and thanking Ellen and Jim for the best lasagna youâve ever eaten and for the hospitality too.
âI hope you come back soon.â Ellen whispered in your ear when you were hugging her, and you held her slightly tighter.
When you left the house with Jack, you couldnât contain your happiness inside you. Grabbing his arm, you pulled him until you were near his car, and standing on your tiptoes, you kissed him.
He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you impossibly closer, both of you moaning inside each otherâs mouth. His tongue made its way inside your mouth, pillowy and so soft. You were finally melting into Jackâs arms and nothing could be better.
Until you realized what was going on.
You had just had dinner with Jackâs family, sang and danced with them, and now you were in the middle of the street of a fancy neighborhood, with Jack Hughes holding you close to his chest, while devouring your mouth.
And instead of not feeling anything, instead of keeping things casual, you were feeling everything. Each tiny part of every emotion there is in this world were making their way into your heart and, unfortunately, you didnât want to take them out.
Because for the first time in more than one year, you wanted to feel.

i'll kick your ass, verstappen: max verstappen x black fem! reader
request: HEYYYYYYY could you do a max x fem reader when he gets jealous really bad over one of your male friends please. Love your stories keep going đ¤đ¤
warnings: jealousy, slight swearing, google translated dutch
author's note: i hope you like this, i lowkey fried my brain trying to make sure i was confident enough to post this...still trying to convince myself. also the title isn't as cute cuz my gradient thingie wasn't working so it'll be plain...sorry bout that. as always, reblogs and comments are always appreciated as well <3
you were in second grade when you met your best friend, nikolaas, after he moved to your school. you were assigned to be his class buddy to help him get comfortable at the new school. the two of you attended the same school all the up to university so you weren't ever really apart from one another. the two of you learned to swim and ride bikes together as little kids. he was there when you went on your first date with the cute guy in your calculus class at the ice rink near your home, and he was there to take you to the hospital when you broke your ankle right after. you were there to help him learn to slow dance before he went to his first formal dance with a girl that wasn't you. he was there to teach you how to walk in that pair of So Kate's you bought without realizing maybe there was a reason nobody but zendaya dared to wear those godforsaken heels. you were there to coach him through confessing his feelings to his first boyfriend. the two of you had experienced so much of your lives beside one another that your relationship wasn't shaken when it was time to move away from home. years passed and he was a professional model travelling the world while you were working as an architect, living in monaco.
since living in monaco you'd been promoted, moved to a nicer apartment, completed a huge project with your team, and met your boyfriend. you met max at an event you'd been invited to courtesy of your own personal connections. from the moment he laid eyes on you, he knew you there was something different about you from other women he's met in the past. that night, you both exchanged numbers and he'd convinced you to go on a date with him shortly after.
ŕźËâđ・âđŚš.â§Ë
for the first time since you'd moved to monaco, your best friend had finally been able to take time to come visit you. he'd flown in two days ago and was staying at your apartment for a bit longer before flying out to korea for some event he was invited to. you sat on your bed and he sat across from you painting a fresh coat of nail polish over his nails since the ocean water chipped it off earlier today. his hand shook slightly as he painted his fingers and your voice cut through the silence, "nikko i swear to god if you get black nail polish on my bed i'll kill you." he looked up through his long, thick, black eyelashes and muttered, "je bent letterlijk de meest dramatische persoon die ik ooit heb ontmoet." you rolled your eyes and huffed, "whatever you love me and you know it." he cracked a smile through the focused glare he held while looking at his fingers, "yeah yeah...speaking of love, how's your man?" [you're literally the most dramatic person i've ever met]
you smiled at the thought of max and answered, "he's really good. the season has treated him well for the most part and he's happy with how things are. we're going back home for his next race so i'm excited i'll be able to see both of our families, and i'm gonna try to stop by your place to see your mom if she's there." he shook his head while keeping his eyes on his nails, "m'ma is in suriname until september because she's visiting granm'ma and granp'pa." your frowned and asked, "were you supposed to go home with her?" nikko nodded and shrugged, "it's alright though, i think i'll be able to make it down there for christmas so it's fine. plus you can see her in september when she comes back." a smile tugged on his lips and he continued, "that is if you want to come see me walk at new york, paris, milan, or london fashion week this year." you nearly tackled him into a hug and screeched, "NO FUCKING WAY- NIKKO?! YOU BOOKED ALL FOUR?!" he laughed and wrapped his arm around you in a hug, "yup i'm booked and busy this year!"
you immediately promised, "i'm going to be at every single show." your best friend nodded, "already reserved your tickets for everything." there was a beat of silence before he asked, "wait isn't max still racing in september- i don't want to make you miss those especially because you missed miami for the met gala with me." this was true, you'd flown to new york city to be nikko's plus one for the met gala but max told you he didn't mind and was happy you were going. without a second thought, only thinking of how exciting this was for your best friend, you waved off his worry, "it'll be fine. besides max likes you."

"i don't fucking like this guy." max huffed as he scrolled though his instagram because you posted something. he looked at his screen and clenched his jaw seeing the post you'd made with your best friend.

max fought to control his facial expressions when you called him excited to tell him about going to support nikko at the big 4 fashion weeks. he watched as your eyes sparkled, "he's already reserved the seat in my name at all of his shows too! this is so great he's always wanted to walk in these shows and now he's got the chance. i want september to already be here." max frowned at the mention of the month, "schat- i'm still racing in september though?" you explained, "well yeah it's just singapore and azerbaijan that i'll have to miss but i'll be at the rest." max bit the inside of his cheek, "didn't you already see him walk in new york back in may? you missed miami for it remember?" you smiled, "babe that was the met gala, that was different. this is actual fashion shows not a red carpet."
when max was still silent you asked, "why don't you seem happy doe nikko?" he took a small exhale to not raise his voice or seem too annoyed, "it's good for the guy i mean this is a big deal as a model. i just...sometimes i think he's just a little too close?" you frowned and you asked, "what do you mean? you've never had a problem with him before?" max sighed and admitted, "i'm just saying there's no reason why other people should be questioning our relationship status when you're with other people. why is he holding you like i hold you?" you couldn't even find the right words for a moment, "i- i- he....max you've seen the way he acts around everyone. he's a touchy guy and he always has been. why are you now bothered that he holds me? it's nothing new."
max let out another annoyed huff and snapped, "just tell him to watch himself." you couldn't even say anything before he hung up the phone on you and left you stunned to a silence. just then your phone pinged and it was another instagram notification:
nikko just posted a story!
there wasn't even a point in trying to ask nikolaas to delete the story because he was on a flight to korea right now which means he just posted it before the plane took off. so all you had to do was hope maybe max wouldn't see it because although you had no issue with the photo, you knew right now your boyfriend would.
ŕźËâđ・âđŚš.â§Ë
the instagram story made it's way to his eyes in less than 5 minutes after it was posted. so, max didn't hesitate to open his own photo gallery and select a few pictures before posting them himself, he pasted a caption from the ones you'd saved in his notes and posted it before turning off his phone.

hot tears stung the corners of your eyes as you stared at your phone knowing full well why max posted the photos he did. you knew that he got jealous every now and again but he'd never done anything like this, especially when it came to nikolaas because he knew how close he was to you. max wasn't answering your phone calls or text messages so you had no way to actually call him.
meanwhile max was in his apartment on his sim when he heard a knock at his door. when he opened it he saw lando standing on his doorstep before he pushed his way into his apartment. max asked, "why are you in my apartment?" lando shook his head and countered, "why are you posting shit like this online?" a smug grin tugged at max's lips and he answered, "you know why."
lando sat on max's couch and responded, "i don't know why. what i do know is your girlfriend called me crying asking me why you weren't answering her calls." max huffed, "she's busy playing with that guy." lando ran a hand through his curls, "you're jealous of her best fucking friend? are you being serious right now?" max rolled his eyes and lando continued, "the guy wears nail polish and face glitter and you think something is going on between them?" when there was silence lando continued, "mate he literally flirted with charles and asked for his number when he came to zandvoort last year. then told alex that she had good taste because he wanted to quote 'drink him up and sop up the rest with a biscuit. and you think there's any way that something is happening with y/n? you can be jealous but if your girlfriend says there's no reason to worry then you should trust her. you need to fix this before something actually happens that can't be fixed." lando slapped max on the shoulder before walking out the door and heading back to his apartment.
ŕźËâđ・âđŚš.â§Ë
it was nearly 3 am when max unlocked the front door to your apartment and slipped in quietly, kicking off his shoes and leaving them by your front door. he pulled back the door and grabbed one of his t shirts and took off his pants before climbing in your bed. he pulled you closer to him and wrapped his arm around your torso. when you moved his arm off of you he knew you were awake so he mumbled, "schat..." you answered plainly, "wat wil je, max?" your boyfriend pressed a kiss to your shoulder and responded, "i'm sorry. i was wrong and i was immature and posting those pictures knowing you had them in our private folder was wrong." there was a momentary silence before you asked, "waarom heb je het dan gedaan?" he let out a deep sigh as he admitted, "i was jealous and only thinking about myself in the moment instead of thinking about how my actions would affect you as well. i never want to hurt you or be the reason for your pain, but i was so i'm sorry." [what do you want, max? // then, why did you do it?]
you felt his hand run over your arm gently as you asked, "wat ga je doen om het te repareren?" max answered, "well i deleted the post first and came here to apologize second. also i'd love to see you go to london, paris, new york, and milan to support nikko in september. i'll be waiting at home for you the minute you get back." you turned to face him and opened your eyes, finding his gaze in the darkness. bringing your hand to his cheek you asked, "i never want you to think that anyone stands a chance at competing with you for my heart, maxie. you are my person and i only love you this way, i only want to be with you. there's only you in my heart and i need you to trust me when i say that, okay?" max leaned into your touch and nodded, before you pressed a gentle kiss to his lips, "i love you." he pulled you to his chest and tangled his legs with yours as he replied, "ik houd ook van jou." you nuzzled closer to him and brought a hand to his chest, tracing small patterns over his heart. both of you began to drift off to sleep, your voice cut through the silence, "but do that shit again and i'm kicking your ass, verstappen." max let out a small chuckle and admitted, "i don't doubt that, but you don't have to worry about it happening again." [what are you going to do to fix it?//i love you too.]

THATâS THAT ME ESPRESSO (TTME)
Chapter 5- Party Oâ Clock âď¸
As you, Hu Tao, and Ayaka were done getting ready, you all piled up in the Kamisato family car. Which happens to be a Rolls Royce. These damn rich people and their fancy cars.
Ayato, Ayakaâs brother, was designated driver. Ayaka has yet to acquire her license.
âDamn girl!â Hu Tao looked around the car with amazement, âIf you wouldâve told me you had one of these I would have been coming over every day.â
Ayaka only giggled. You felt like an actual celebrity in this car. Not like you arenât one, it just never hit you till now. Youâre going to one of the biggest parties in the entertainment industry that was kept on the low from the public.
It all felt so surreal. As you were having this realization, Ayaka handed her phone to you to play some music. You stared at her phone trying to come up with something to play.
A moment passes and still being indecisive, you handed the phone to Hu Tao. You can be aux in someoneâs car another day.
Hu Tao was always good at aux. She selected Sundress by Asap Rocky first. Hu Tao then queued up a few more songs before handing the phone back to Ayaka.
The car ride was mostly filled with Ayaka and Hu Tao talking. You or Ayato would sometimes chime in. Usually youâre a yapper, however, you had this sense of dread in you.
You didnât know what it was. Was it because it was your first time going to one of these things? Or was it because you knew you were going to have to encounter the one person you wish you wouldnât have to see after high school.
Lost in your thoughts, you didnât notice the car had stopped. It was only when Hu Tao tapped your shoulder that you realized you had arrived.
You stepped out of the car and got a good look at the place. A giant manor appeared in front of you. A beautiful fountain made out of marble centered in the middle. Greenery hugged the perimeter. How was THIS kept from the public? Furina mustâve used your Espresso money to pay for all this.
Honesty, it felt like you didnât belong here.
Hu Tao grabbed your hand and led you inside. A lot of high end celebrities were here. Some of them you were a big fan of. Nonetheless, this wasnât the place to be asking them for pictures. In the corner you spotted Lyney, Lynette, and Mona who were all at the bar.
âThere you guys are!â Mona exclaimed.
She hugged you, Hu Tao, and Ayaka.
âCan we take some shots already??â Hu Tao questioned.
She was very eager to get wasted. Ironic because she was telling you not to a few days ago.
The bartender poured everyone a shot of Soju.
Then another.
Another.
One more.
Now you, Hu Tao, Lyney, and Mona were all four shots deep. Lynette doesnât drink and Ayaka only had one since sheâs a lightweight. You could handle a few more but you didnât want to get blackout hammered. Hu Taoâs warning was still in the back of your mind. You only picked up a White Claw to be drinking throughout the night.
You left your friends at the bar and decided to explore on your own. That was, until you noticed a familiar orange hair in the distance.
It seemed to notice you to.
âHoly shit! Is that Y/n?â It was Childe. Who appeared to be very drunk already.
âHoly shit! Is that my prom mosh pit buddy?â You responded. He couldnât help but laugh.
During your senior prom you spent the entire time in the dance circle/mosh pit with Childe. It was fun but very unexpected.
You and Childe exchanged a reunion hug. He smelled of alcohol and sweat.
âDude how many shots have you taken?â You begin to ask. It was a bit concerning he was already fucked up this early.
âUhh only like 7??â Childe chuckled. His speech slurring a bit.
âWhat the fuck?â It impressed you.
âHow have you been though? We barely spoke at the grad party. Your new song is honestly really good.â Childe commented on. He was always nice to you. Never had any malicious intent, which was surprising considering who his friends are.
You hesitated before responding, âIâve been good. I barely saw you at the party that was my bad! I liked your movie with Lumine. Anyone but You right?â
âThank you! I had a fun time filming it. I didnât know you watched my movies.â Childe simply responded. He always had a flirty tone whenever he talked to people.
Childe then pulled out a geek bar and took a hit. The smell of candy filled the air. He then offered it to you.
You stared at it for a moment. Fuck it. You took a hit of the blowpop flavored vape. Of course you inhaled wrong and began coughing up a storm. Childe started laughing his ass off.
âThis is why I hate nic. Fucking fein.â You barely formed the sentence. Hacking and coughing up your lungs. You took a sip of your White Claw to bring back moisture to your throat.
âY/n, you good?â Childe asked while continuing to laugh.
Before you could even respond, he was whisked away by Venti. You both said your goodbyes and you were on your own once again.
Sipping your White Claw you began to feel a little tipsy, so you decide to sit down somewhere. You always underestimate alcohol. As soon as you sat down, it felt like the whole world was spinning. You felt dizzy but in a good way. It felt good to be drunk.
It took you a minute to notice someone was next to you, until you smelled a joint being sparked up. Obviously you turned to the source of the smell.
It was none other than Xiao and the singer Albedo from Mondstadt Entertainment. How did they know each other? Who knows. Albedo was the first one to notice you though.
âHello. Arenât you Y/n?â He questioned.
You got a little shy. It was weird to have one of your favorite artists know your existence. Damn. No more parasocial relationships for you.
Xiao responded for you, âTheyâre the one who has a twitter feud with Scaramouche.â
âYou didnât have to tell him all that.â You responded with embarrassment. It was true though, currently youâre trending for fighting with the most popular person under Inazuma Entertainment.
âShits funny though. We always laugh about it in the group chat.â Xiao mentioned as he took a hit from the joint.
They talk about you in the Inazuma group chat?
âOh so am I like a household name there?â You joked. You were always intimidated by him. Xiao always looks so mad. However, the alcohol is making your fears go away.
âYeah kinda. By the way, do you smoke?â Xiao asked nonchalantly, his body shifted to look at you. It felt like his eyes were piercing through your soul.
This caught you off guard, âI sometimes do when I have stuff.â
Xiao then handed you the joint and you took a long hit. You didnât cough this time. If you were being honest, you preferred weed over nicotine, It doesnât smell as great but it also doesnât make you feel sick.
You passed it to Albedo, who took a long inhale. This could be seen as a dream blunt rotation or a nightmare blunt rotation. However, it wasnât until the end where you felt the weed hit. Mix with the alcohol, you began to feel crossed. You began to feel so giggly and everything moved so slow.
You turned to the both of them, âWhat the hell was in this?â
âDonât worry itâs not laced. Itâs just weed imported from Snezhnaya. My plug is from there.â Albedo reassured you.
âYou have a plug?â Your question came out more of a surprise than you have intended.
âYes. Heâs the best. Here let me give you my number so we can smoke again. Xiao give them yours too.â Albedo grabbed your phone from you to type in his number. Xiao then grabbed the phone from Albedo and typed in his number as well.
You felt proud of yourself for scoring two hot guyâs numbers. Were you actually going to text them? Who knows!
The more you sat down, the more you realized how stuffy and hot the place was becoming. You excused yourself and went out onto the balcony to get some fresh air.
The cold air stung as you had exited the warm party. It quickly felt nice though. As you hung your head over the balcony, you heard footsteps approaching behind you.
Turning around, you saw the person you wanted to avoid the most tonight. Scara fucking mouche.
As you guys made eye contact he scoffed and looked away. He looked the same as ever. Fortunately, still good looking. Unfortunately, still short.
There was a bit of awkward silence before you began to spoke.
âCanât you see I was here first?â Alcohol makes you appear more bolder.
âHow fucking drunk are you?â Scara asked in a harsh tone. âAnd are you high too? You smell like weed.â
âThatâs none of your business.â You retorted.
He rolled his eyes, âYou donât change do you?â
He walked next to you on the balcony. There was still a decent amount of space between you guys. You glanced over to him. Scaraâs hair looks grown out but still healthy, despite often dying it purple. His violet eyes were looking out into the outside portion of the party. If you didnât know better, youâd think heâd be someone whoâs the opposite of what he actually is.
Scara then took out a pack of cigarettes and began lighting one. You stared at it hoping heâd offer it to you. You love smoking cigs when drunk. For someone who sings, you sure do smoke a lot.
âYouâre not sharing this with me.â Scara said plainly. Not even glancing at you.
âWasnât planning on it.â You looked away from him. The cool air felt pleasant against your skin. You could hear the music blaring from the inside and the people mingling down below. It was better than any other party you had attended.
There was another long silence between you guys. It didnât feel awkward anymore. It was more nostalgic and comforting than anything. So you began to talk once again.
âDo you still talk to Aether or Kazuha?â The question always lingered in your mind. Those were some of the mutual friends you guys had shared. You havenât spoken to either of them since graduation.
âYes, sometimesâ Scara responded in a monotone voice. He didnât seem interested to talk to you. You didnât care though.
There was yet again another long silence. This time, he stuck out his hand to you. Offering the cigarette.
âTake it before I change my mind.â He mumbled.
You took the cigarette from his hand, now sharing it with him. You were too out of it to notice the bitter taste. Perhaps, it was the liquor masking the true taste of the cigarette. Perhaps, it was the liquor that was the real reason you were feeling more bold to ask this certain question. One that has been lingering in your mind the longest. The question you were worried about the answer the most.
âDid you ever like talking to me?â
The question shifted the tension in the air.
Scara was calculating his response. The longer he took to respond, the more anxious you felt.
âYou were a nice friend to talk to.â He finally answered.
The answer disappointed you.
Just a friend? Seriously? After all those nights on facetime, him listening to you rant, him getting upset when you took too long to respond, him sending you over 20 tiktoks a day, him recommending you songs or movies, and him getting jealous over random guys. That was just him being a friend?
âAre you fucking serious right now?â You snapped at him. You turned your body to face his.
âWhat??â Scara retorted, barely glancing in your direction.
âIf I was just a friend then why were you so ashamed of me? Why did you never tell anyone we would talk on the daily?â You began to press into him.
âYou never told anyone either! You barely even told Hu Tao.â Scara argued back, finally facing you.
âAnd you only told Childe! I didnât know what we were. You always seemed embarrassed to talk to me at school. We rarely hung out outside of school. And you let your friends harass me.â Your feelings from the past year gushed out of you. You werenât holding back.
âYeah youâre right. I was embarrassed of you. Everyone at school made fun of you because you were a trainee. Your personality made it unbearable and thatâs why you only had a few friends. Anyone associated with you was questioned and also made fun of. I at least wanted to keep my connections.â Scaraâs words felt like a knife to the heart.
Deep down, you knew that most people around you felt like you were a burden for pursuing your idol dreams. Everytime you would apologize for flaking because you were practicing, how you would talk about what happened at practice, and how hard you tried to fit in. It never seemed good enough for people. You tried your best being friendly but people often thought you were fake. It just hurt coming from someone you thought cared about you.
âYou seriously considered how people felt? I thought you didnât care what people thought about you. I thought you were different.â Your voice cracked as you tried to hold back tears.
âItâs different when it came to you. You were the joke of the grade. You may have had some friends but did you ever wonder what people thought of them? For being associated with you?â His questions grilled into you like an interrogation.
Your friends always comforted you. Not once did they ever mention their image getting tarnished. Sure they would sometimes get teased for even speaking to you, but they never seemed to care. Right?
âThen what about Childe?â You finally argued back, âHe was always nice to me. I donât recall anyone teasing him for texting or speaking to me.â
âThatâs because heâs respected enough. No one dared to bully him or even say anything to him about his friends.â Scara replied nonchalantly.
It was irritating to see him not care about how his words would affect you. You had enough.
âWhatever. Fuck you and fuck your friend group. You never deserved me or everything I did for you, you little ungrateful cunt. Youâre dead to me.â Those were your final words to him before storming off. All the emotions began to pour out of you as you began to walk away.
As Scara saw you walk off, he turned back to face the night sky. âWhat a dramatic bitch.â He muttered before finally finishing the cigarette you two had shared. As he threw it on the ground, he felt a sort of guilt. Did he really need to tell you all that?
Whatever.
You deserved to know.
Scara looked around at the people in attendance. He then noticed something in the corner of his eye. Someone was throwing up in a bush. Someone familiarâŚ.for fucks sake itâs Venti. Kokomi at his side comforting him. Scara groaned not believing what he is seeing. He walked back into the party so he could help his somewhat friend.
Meanwhile, you were trying your best to find your friends. You wanted to leave this party asap. You dialed Ayakaâs number and luckily she picked up. They were by the snack table. You hurriedly met up with them.
When you got there, Lyney, Mona, and Hu Tao were wasted out of their minds. It was an amusing sight.
What wasnât an amusing sight, was you visibly shaken up. Naturally, it didnât take long before they noticed.
âHey Y/n are you alright?â Lynette asked. She always had a keen eye for peopleâs body language.
âHonestly, I donât know. I ran into Scaramouche and we had this giant argument.â You hesitated in answering. Nervous on how the others might react.
âYOU WHAT? NAH where is he?! Lemme go beat his ass!â Hu Tao tried standing up but she fell on top of Lyney.
âGet your fat ass off of me!â Lyney slurred.
âY/n do you want to leave? We were about to head out right now and text you.â Ayaka mentioned.
You nodded. This party was fun until you had a run in with him.
âLynette, do you and the others want to sleepover at my place with us?â Ayaka offered.
Lynette glanced over at Lyney and Mona, who were fighting over the last cookie. She then looked at Ayaka and nodded.
Lynette, Lyney, and Mona got into Lynetteâs car meanwhile you, Hu Tao, Ayaka, and Ayato got into the car you arrived in. The car ride was silent. You were still drunk and angry at what had happened earlier so you whipped out your phone to send a few texts.
You closed your eyes for the remainder of the car ride. When you opened them, had finally arrived to the Kamisato Estate. Itâs as big inside as it is outside.
Ayaka showed you all to your rooms and you all began to unwind for the night. You immediately collapsed onto the bed. The world still spinning around you and memories from the party flood your brain. You tried your best to repress those thoughts and fall asleep.

A/N: Chapter 5 done!! This is my first written chapter so I apologize if itâs really long. I was too lazy to split it up into two parts. (Thatâs pretty much why I lowk rushed the ending) I know this chapter was a bit dramatic but I lowk had a fun time writing it. This isnât even all the lore between Scara and Y/n 𤍠Also letâs pretend the Kamisato Estate is close to where the party is being held đ Iâm bad at geography.
ALSOOO lmk if you guys want your users to be added to this au and iâll make you a twitter user :)
Synopsis: Youâre a new idol that just debuted under âFontaine Entertainmentâ with your new single âEspresso.â You just graduated high school which means all your classmates are shocked to see you into stardom. Including your old situationship, who happens to be an actor.

Aventurine, Dr Ratio, Jing Yuan, Blade when you bring home/adopt a puppy
Warning/s: None
Notes: i'm a dog person sođ§
aventurine already has three cat cake critters and he loves them, but when you bring home a puppy, asking him with pleading eyes if you could keep it (he swore the pup was also giving him puppy eyes), he couldn't say no.
he'd be so enthusiastic with pets, like he'd buy matching accessories for the critters and your puppy. he wouldn't hold back in buying essentials like the best food and most comfortable beds
aventurine is the type that would send you numerous pictures of your pets, especially when he catches them sleeping in the cutest positions or doing the silliest things
he'd be worried at first if the critters would adapt well with the addition of the puppy, so imagine how happy he is when he sees them all buddy buddy
he bought them their own beds and all, but he'd still allow them to sleep on your shared bed with the both of you. you once had to hold yourself back from laughing when he pouted at you, your puppy sleeping between you two which didn't let him cuddle with you. he ended up cuddling with the puppy anyway
whenever none of you could stay at home due to work, he'd hire only the best pet sitters in town to take care of his babies and he'd ask for updates almost every hour
ratio, straight up, the âkeep that dog away from meâ but is so close with the dog after a few weeks type
like, when you first brought the dog home, you had to convince him that you should keep it and that you could take good care of it, promising that it wouldn't get in the way of his work
he's reluctant, even nagging you that you'd have to be extra responsible with the animal, but agreeing nonetheless
you didn't know how it happened, but it just did, ratioâs now closer to your dog than you were for some reason. it'd sleep by his feet whenever he was in his home office reading or grading his studentâs papers, which was news because he initially forbid the dog to go anywhere near his office
for someone who claimed to not want the dog, he's quite hands on with taking care of it. he'd make a schedule for when it should eat, sleep, and play even though it wouldn't be followed most of the time
he'd also discuss with you about which food is best for the new member of the family like it was some sort of research paper, he'll make sure that the dog will have a good and balanced diet and that it stays healthy
heâd be the type to keep a close eye on his dog when he takes it to a pet salon, making sure the staff doesn't hurt it or make it uncomfortable
jing yuan isn't opposed to having pets, he's got mimi. plus how could he resist the whines and coos from the puppy you held?
he'd introduce your puppy to mimi ever so gently, making sure they got along so you'd have no problem with the two coexisting in the same house
puppies are more often hyper than cats, but it must be jing yuan's influence rubbing on them, because him, the puppy, and mimi could often be seen napping together
like, it'd be so cute to see jing yuan sleeping with a soft smile, leaning back on the white lion and holding the puppy to his chest like it was his child. you have several pictures of them three just sleeping in your phone
yanqing loved to play with the puppy too. whenever the boyâs practice was over, he'd play with it, running around the generalâs backyard with the puppy in tow as he led it like a general leading his soldiers to battle
whenever youâre both busy, he'd volunteer to take the puppy to his office so it'd be a common sight to see the general briefing some of the cloud knights while a puppy playfully bit and tugged at his coat
blade would appear nonchalant when you first proposed to adopt a puppy, telling you to do whatever you want
at first, he'd steer clear of the puppy when it first arrived in the house, but as the days passed, the puppy would linger around him. he'd gently nudge it away from him, telling it to run along but the puppy would only wag its tail and bark happily up at him
the little dog would follow him around the house, and he'd stare at it for a while, then go back to whatever he's doing. the day he finally crouched down and gave the puppy a pat on the head was the day he knew he couldn't keep ignoring the fluffy animal any longer
he's so chill with the dog, watching it silently as it tries to pull the toy from his hand in a game of tug of war, rubbing its belly and feeding it treats behind your back when you tell him it's had enough for the day
when he's out on a mission, he'd subtly ask about the puppy and what it's up to, ignoring the snicker he received from silver wolf at the way he intently and fondly watched the video you sent him of his puppy
he's so chill with his dog but the moment someone tries to hurt or look at it badly, he'd give them a deadly glare to make them back off
there was a time when he sat on the couch, muddled thoughts of the past making its way back into his mind. he didn't want it to cloud his mind, to make the mara resurface yet again especially when he's in your shared home and he could hurt you and the puppy
but those thoughts were cut off when he heard a whine. looking down, the puppy sat next to him, placing its muzzle on top of his thigh as it looked up at him as if worried. it was as if it could understand what he was feeling and it wanted to comfort him. if you saw him embracing the dog, you didn't speak about it

OP characters as besties p.5
p.1 | p.2 | p.3 | p.4 | p.5
characters: Ace, Shanks, Mihawk
warnings: mentions of alcohol, light cussing
notes: all platonic hc's
Ace
will share his food with you
but won't let you take any off his plate
falls asleep on you all the time
uses you as his personal pillow
and will make fun of you if you freak out when riding with him on Striker
despite the fact that it's designed for only one person
but I digress
also uses you as a napkin if needed
sometimes shoots little flames at you to see your reaction
talks about Luffy nonstop
like that's the only thing he ever talks about
by the time you actually meet his little brother
you're ready to strangle both of them
not really
but you could spot the kid a mile away
before you ever actually got to know him
Ace and you working together to become more confident
always teasing each other
you having to fish him out of the ocean when he falls in
drinking contests
staring contests
fighting contests
eating contests
just competing over everything and anything possible
training together
he may be really strong and have a devil fruit power
but he won't hesitate to practice his hand-to-hand combat with you
especially if you need it
will tease you about it though
so you just push him overboard again
long talks about your lives
your pasts
your families
where you see yourselves in a year
five years
maybe even ten years
your goals
and aspirations
just talks about life
he tells you about his dad
and is relieved when you tell him that just because he was his father's son doesn't mean that'll be his legacyÂ
you two would die for each other
nothing will ever tear you apart
besties for the resties
9/10
super sweet and funny
but won't bathe no matter how much you beg
Shanks
party boyâ˘
genuinely doesn't give a fuck
he's here to have fun
and protect his family
that's it
tells you the corniest jokes you've ever heard
also laughs at everything you say
like Luffy, laughs even when you're being serious
uses his missing arm as an excuse if you ever try to get him to do his duties as captain
sometimes struggles with phantom pains
but assures you they'll go away on their own
drinking contests
if he's got a drink in hand
then everyone's gonna have a good time
100% threw up on your shoes once before passing out
laughed like it was the funniest thing he'd ever heard when you told him
quickly stifles his laughter when he sees how mad you are
offers to let you throw up on his shoes to make it even
you just stare at his sandals for a moment before walking away
watching Luffy's progress through the news together
bragging about the kid as if he were your own
the antics you two get up to guarantee that Ben will have a constant headache
the rest of the crew finds your dynamic duo to be hilarious
the sheer power of this crew is near unimaginable
so if the two of you ever actually fight enemies
they don't stand a chance
if anyone ever targeted you
and hurt you
Shanks would have his crew capture your attacker
and then show them exactly why no one messes with the Red Hair Pirates
8/10
always provides a good time
but will laugh at you if you fallÂ
Mihawk
I ain't ever seen two pretty best friends
until now
you are probably a little more lively than this warlord
he just doesn't care for drama
which means it's up to you to keep him in the loop
yet somehow he has the truly juicy details you could only wish to find on your own
y'all have a small book club
it's just the two of you
you tried to invite Perona to join
but she thought that your reading selection was so not cute
you even tried to invite Shanks once
all that accomplished was you gaining a new drinking buddy
which Mihawk begrudgingly allowed to happen
basically, the book club is just you two sipping on wine while discussing every mistake that the author made while writing your current read
salty bitchesâ˘
you're one of the only people alive who can get Mihawk to laugh
which is your favorite party trick
except that he's never laughed at the parties you both went to
(ie visiting Shanks and getting roped into a night of drinking)
he airs out all of the other warlords' dirty laundry to you
will talk mad shit about them
well at least most of them
he finds that no matter how powerful they may be
they're all idiots in his eyes
they can't see the big picture
he trusts that you have enough common sense to use the information sparingly
and you do
for the most part
it's giving rich single wine aunt meets vodka mom (but without the kids)
9/10
knows how to relax in style
but will not let you play with his sword no matter how many times you ask

Found Family Anime Recs
I recently reblogged a list of found family anime recs and was a bit surprised by how many reblogs and likes it got. I had really reblogged it just so I can find it later to watch the shows I hadn't already seen on the list, but apparently I have a lot of followers who are interested in this topic! Well, I've watched a lot of anime, so here are ten found family anime shows that I absolutely love. These are in no particular order.
Buddy Daddies
This show is similar enough to Spy X Family that you might be tempted to call it a rip-off. It's really quite different though. There's a lot less comedy (though there's still SOME comedy) and a lot more healing from past trauma. The animation is gorgeous, and the relationships really tug at my heart. It's more realistic than Spy X Family, in some ways, though it's still pretty ridiculous. The melodrama in the last couple of episodes did annoy me a bit, but it's still a very satisfying show. It's like a fanfiction I would write, which is really the highest recommendation I can give, haha, because that means it's exactly the kind of story I would like.Â
2. Samurai Champloo
This show was made by much of the same team that created Cowboy Bebop, but for some reason it never got the same cult status, which is really too bad. I love Cowboy Bebop, but I love Samurai Champloo more. It's about two ronin and a teenage girl traveling through Edo-era Japan to find someone the girl is looking for. Throughout the series, the three form a very strong bond, despite all of their communication difficulties and past traumas. I've rewatched this show probably more than any other anime. It's brutal at times, but so very satisfying.
3. Natsume Yuujin-cho
Natsume lost his parents as a young child and was passed around from relative to relative, most of whom couldn't deal with him because his ability to see yokai (Japanese folk spirits) made him a freak in their eyes. As the series starts, he's finally taken in by an older couple in a rural village who actually want him, and he's finally able to start forming connections with other people and find a support system with his new caretakers, his peers, and the yokai he tries to help. It's a very sweet, sad series, much more sentimental than the first two entries on this list, but a very soothing and lovely watch when you are in need of some relaxation. Warning, though, the flashbacks to Natsume's past families can be truly gutwrenching. He was not treated well for a very long time, and it's hard to stomach.
4. Barakamon
Handa is a calligrapher who gets essentially exiled to a remote island after causing problems on purpose. He has a hard time connecting with people and is struggling with his art. Over the course of the story, he forms relationships with his neighbors, especially an adorable child with possibly the best child voice-acting I've ever heard, and slowly rediscovers his joy in creation again. It's cute and funny and beautiful, and it makes me want to live on a remote Japanese island.
5. My Roommate Is a Cat
Subaru is a young novelist who recently lost his parents, who were pretty much his only connection to humanity. While trying to recover from this massive loss, he adopts a stray cat who quickly becomes the most important creature in his life. Through the cat, he begins to form relationships with other people, as well. The show is unique in that the first half of each episode is from the human's POV and the second half is from the cat's POV. It's a very lovely and soothing show. Pets are family, too!
6. Haikyuu
Haikyuu was the show that opened my eyes to the aspect of found family in sports anime. I know a lot of tumblr enjoys Haikyuu for the shipping, but to me it's more satisfying to view it through the lens of found family. Each team is essentially their own found family, in their own unique way, and the relationships are particularly realistic and well-depicted by this mangaka. I love Tanaka being a big brother to the first years, Kuroo and Kenma's mutual protectiveness and support, all of it.Â
7. Kuroko no Basuke
This is the silly basketball show, and in my opinion it's not as good as Haikyuu, but I love the relationships here as well. Especially between Kuroko and Kagami, of course. Their mutual protectiveness is just chef's kiss. But the whole Seirin team is really great. I love them so much. The teamy goodness is what makes the silliness watchable for me.
8. One Piece
What is there to say about One Piece? This is, like, the ultimate found family show. All of the pirate crews with any kind of goodness at their core are found families, but especially the Strawhats. Luffy is just going around looking at people and declaring, "Okay, you're in my family (on my crew) now." If you've never watched One Piece before, I'm going to make an unorthodox recommendation and suggest you watch the live action Netflix adaption first. It does a really good job of capturing the feel and aesthetic and just pure loveliness of this story in a much more compact and approachable way than the anime. However, if you like it, I do recommend that you watch the anime from the beginning, because there is a lot of expansion on the themes there, and the characterization is slightly different. Usopp in particular kinda got shorted in the live action, so you'll understand him a lot more if you watch his introduction arc in the anime. But honestly both versions are great. I'm on my third rewatch of the live action version already, and I will watch and rewatch the anime until I die, probably. One of my favorite stories of all time.
9. The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash
I found this one slightly annoying in how it was obviously carefully designed to tug at my heartstrings, but it's working, so I don't have much right to complain. It's about a little kid driven out of her home who gradually gathers a found family of both monsters she tames and adult adventurers and guardsmen who take one look at this lonely child and go, "Well, guess I have a baby now." The isekai element is very lowkey, in that she basically just has a voice in her head giving her advice, and I like that it's about fighting local corruption instead of a demon army or what have you. I want more shows like this and less shows like every other generic isekai, haha.
10. Dungeon Meshi
This show is blowing up tumblr right now, so you've probably already seen it a billion times, but I'm going to make one more appeal for you to watch/read this story. It is so, so so good. And in my opinion, it is much MUCH more about family, both born and found, than it is about shipping. I could write a whole essay about Marcille and Falin's relationship that has nothing to do with romance, as I could for any other two (or three or four) characters in the main party, plus those outside. There is a LOT going on. I've been playing RPGs and LARPs for twenty years, and one reason I love the hobby so much is for the joy of creating found families with my best friends in new and different worlds, over and over again. This is the first piece of fiction I've found that really captures that particular aspect of party-based fantasy stories, the relationships that form and grow, the tight-knit bonds that keep everyone moving forward despite the monsters you must face (and consume).Â

Is it possible when you have the chance can you do a stepdad vore stepson because wife wanted to get rid of old family with ex husband
Joe's bachelor party was supposed to be pretty simple. His brother, Gary, my future uncle, was the one who was planning all of it. A small group of us guys just hanging out at the hotel a couple of days before the wedding. Video games, beer, poker, tanning, steaks.
When my phone went off while at the pool, Joe splashed some water my way. He may have been a suave lawyer, but he was always a little playful. "That Grindr?"
And of course, that led the rest of the guys teasing me. Gary grabbed his speedo with a chuckle and said. "I ordered some women. Wouldn't have done that if I knew we had a cocksucker here."
"I'm not going to suck your cock, uncle," I said.
Joe grabbed me. "So he gets to be 'uncle' but you still won't call me 'dad,' huh? Little shit." We went under water.
That night, we were drinking beer in Joe's room. We were on our second round of Texas Hold 'Em. Porn played on one tv on silent - gay porn, a sort of "first person to get hard has to suck everyone's cock thing, no doubt more teasing aimed at me. On another, some violent action flick I'd never seen played. The effects were outdated. My vision was getting a bit blurry. My eyes were heavy. Why was I so tired?
"You okay, bud?" Joe asked, and then I passed out.
When I cam too, groggy and blinking away the blurry lights, my head was pounding. My limbs were stiff and heavy. My breaths were small, but it wasn't like it was hard to breathe. Everything was cool and sticky. Gary was grinning down at me. He was naked. "He's awake," he called. The rest of the guys cheered.
I was on the table. The guys were over by the TV. They were all naked, including Joe. God he was handsome. Nice thick cock, too. What was I thinking? That was gross. Shit. Were they making good on the whole "having a cocksucker around" thing?
Joe made his way to the head of the table or, rather, where my head was. His heavy balls pressed down against my forehead. They were so warm. "Too bad you didn't want to call me daddy while choking on my dick, kid," he said. He called me that when he wanted to piss me off. I'd just graduated college. I was a grown-ass man. Him being a prick like that sometimes was why I refused to call him dad. Not to mention, he still wouldn't be my step-father for a few more days.
He ground his balls against my face, then pulled away and leaned over me with a wicked grin. "If you had, I probably would've kept you around. But your mom wants a family of our own, and if you don't want to be my pet, then..."
His jaw unhinged like some creature from a horror movie. My slow heart stopped for a moment. When it came back too, the world was dark and wet. His tongue pulsed beneath my head. His teeth gently scraped over my back. Slick, wet sounds, swallowing sounds, filled my ears as I slipped further... inside my mouth.
Joe was eating me.
My head dangled over the abyss of his throat. Outside, the guys cheered him on. Someone was rubbing their cock between my feet. Others were engaging my hands.
A slight, impossible light filled his throat. Saliva spilled down the pink walls of his throat. "Stop," I whispered. I didn't have the energy to scream. Then I was falling head first down the cavern. It pressed tight against my flesh and, shameful though it was to admit, it felt amazing. I was hard and leaking by the time my cock slid into Joe's mouth. His tongue slipped between my cheeks and prodded at my hole.
Almost as if it were a last breath, I moaned louder than I had in my entire life. It was a plea, though what for I couldn't tell. To cum? To get fucked by future dad? For him to finish eating me?
When my feet passed between his lips, they were covered in the cum of his brother and buddies. I curled up in the tight, warm, slightly smelly embrace of Joe's stomach. He belched, and the sound rattled my brain. I went dizzy.
"Looks like I'm pregnant with you now," Joe said. "Gonna call me dad now that I'm pregnant with you?" Of course he was teasing me. He never refused a chance for that.
"What did you do?" i asked.
"I ate you. And now I'm gonna turn you into a big steaming pile, you piece of shit," he laughed. "You want to be my shit?"
The warmth was starting to sting my skin and the inside of my mouth and nostrils. "I don't want... to be shit, daddy," I pleaded.
"Lesson learned: never turn down daddy."
~~
I woke in a sweat, my dad's thick, hairy arms wrapped around me. We were naked in his bed. We started sleeping like this on my 21st. I drank with him for the first time and started crying about mom's death. He cried too. One thing led to another, and he ended up pounding my ass like a beast.
It was a dream. It was just a dream... but...
"What's wrong?" Dad asked, snuggling into my neck.
"I had a dream you ate me," I said.
Dad pulled me tighter against him. When he whispered, there was a growl. Something hungry. "Did you remember being daddy's shit? Getting flushed down the toilet? How you kept begging me not to digest you? You told me I'd get to fuck you all I want." His cock hardened against my ass. "You know... It might be time for me to put my boy back in his place." His big hand grabbed my cock. "Steal all your youth while you melt away into a big meaty soup in my gut. Maybe next time you'll remember sooner. Beg me to eat you." He licked my ear. "Wanna test it out, baby? No promises I'll let you out."
Despite the pounding of me heart, I nodded. "Yes, daddy."

Honestly, it's bullshit that people are expecting the Bad Kids to be the ones reaching out to convert the Rat Grinders in the finale instead of taking them down until after the battle is over. That's not their responsibility. And it's not that they haven't tried.
It's just also impossible to go into their characters in-depth, for the players because of the downtime mechanic. Of course they should prioritize their own studies first. Of course Adaine couldn't go on study dates with Oisin, she has to work for her spell components. Of course Riz couldn't try talking to Kipperlilly, she doesn't go to rogue classes anymore and is just stealthing everywhere. Of course Fabian doesn't try talking to Ivy again, she told him not to try again after the disastrous flirting. Of course Fig wouldn't talk to Ruben as herself, they're rivals and she also just didn't want to go to bard class where he is, plus he tried making fun of her for doing a necessary bodily function. Of course Gorgug doesn't even try with Mary Ann, she already declined the invitation to hang out with the Bloodrush Team after practices, and he got too busy even for his own family.
The only Bad Kid that did try reaching out and understanding, was Kristen. She immediately clocked how similar Buddy was to her during the first party. She actually did a track to talk to him at one point instead of using that to talk to her own brother. But when they talked, he would be trying to get her to feel bad about leaving the Church and talked shit about her brother and then told her that he recommended his horrible grandpa to be the new teacher. But even so, Kristen tried reviving him at the Last Stand. And then she tried to get insight on him before the final battle starts. But he's still not switched sides.
Also y'all are forgetting that besides Fig trying to use Wanda Childa as a way to sway Ruben away from the Rat Grinders, and it not working, Adaine also saved Ruben at Frosty Faire from Grix, even though what Grix was doing was for the good of the world too. Everyone except Riz also would've been supportive if Adaine and Oisin were to ever date, up until he revealed his deception. The girls also genuinely wanted to befriend Mary Ann but the attempt got shot down.
Plus, for most of them, even if they try to do relationship tracks with the Rat Grinders, it would most likely be the last track they would do and the DCs for those would be impossible to pass without rolling nat 20s. The downtime mechanic and Porter's plans just really kept them from being approachable and that's not the Bad Kids' fault.

Camping Trip
Jason Todd x M!Himbo!Reader
Warnings: fluff, slight angst
Summary: Jason invites the reader to a camping trip with the Batfam and tries to give hints to the reader that he likes him the entire trip but the reader is completely oblivious to it and thinks Jason is just being friendly
Quote: âDang dude youâre stuck in the friend zoneâ
â - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Everyone in the family knew about Jasonâs little crush on you, so it didnât surprise them when he invited you along to the camping trip as his âplus oneâ (even though it was only supposed to be a family trip). Jason thought that bringing you along to a camping trip with his family would be the perfect place for him to finally confess to you.
All of his other attempts were.. interesting.. to say the least. It wasnât his fault by any means, but you were just very.. oblivious. One time he took you out to the movies, and he tried the classic âstretching his arms around your shouldersâ trick. He thought that you had finally got the hint that he liked you. But afterwards, he got hit with thisâŚ
BUDDY?!?
âDang dude youâre stuck in the friend zoneâ Dick laughed as Jason showed him.ďżź
Hopefully this time you would finally get the hint. I mean heâs inviting you to a trip, WITH HIS FAMILY! Surely you werenât that clueless, right?
It was the day of the trip and Bruce rented a van, problem was, Bruce didnât know that Jason was inviting you until he already got the van. Jason got the bright idea for you to sit on his lap, but when he mentioned it to Bruce, Bruce immediately denied it.
Jason decided to take a separate car with you to drive there since you werenât the best driver. There was a time when you let go of the steering wheel to pull out a paper map because your phone had no service. It still puzzles everyone how you passed your drivers test.
Jason tried giving hints even while he was driving. Turning on love songs, placing his hands on your thighs, etc. but you still werenât getting it, instead just thinking that he was being friendly. When all of you got there, you all built the tents and set up the campfire.
âJasonâ Dick whispered as he motioned for Jason to come to him.
Jason followed Dick to where no one else could hear them.
âOk so, I packed some kayaks for the trip, why donât you and y/n down there before usâ Dick winked.
âOh my god! Thank you so much Dick! I owe you for this oneâ Jason smiled before running off to go get you.
âHey y/n, I was wondering if you wanted to come down to the river, Dick brought some kayaksâ Jason asked.
âSure!â You smiled before following Jason.
While you were kayaking, Jason rested his head on your shoulder, but you still werenât getting it. You just thought he was tired from all of the driving. When the two of you finally came back to the camping grounds, you were met with Jasonâs family who were giggling and snickering, Jason later found out that they were taking pictures of the two of you.
When it started to get dark, everyone stood around the campfire while making sâmores. Everyone was laughing while talking about embarrassing stories, ghost stories, and catching up. It was a really fun time for everyone.
When it came night-time, everyone had partners to sleep with. Bruce got his own tent, Stephanie and Cassie, Dick and Damian, Duke and Tim, and last but not least you and Jason. After everyone got ready for bed, they said their goodbyeâs and went inside their individual tents to sleep.
âI had a lot of fun todayâ you smiled as you looked into Jasonâs eyes.
âI did too, especially because youâre hereâ Jason smiled back cheekily.
You just giggled before cuddling into Jasonâs chest and started to slowly drift asleep. Jason couldnât help but to chuckle a bit before slowly falling asleep himself.
You suddenly woke up in the middle of the night, in need to use the restroom. You slowly slipped out of Jasonâs grasp and quickly walked behind one of the trees before relieving yourself. After you were done you quickly squirted some hand sanitizer in your hand until you heard some shuffling behind you.
âHelloâŚ?â
Jason awoke and saw that you werenât there with him. Jason got out of the tent to quickly go look for you. He turned on his flashlight and started walking but he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw you were surrounded by a pack of wolves.
âY/n! What are you doing! Run!â Jason yelled out, scaring the wolves away.
Before you could talk, Jason interrupted you.
âAre you kidding me y/n?! You couldâve gotten hurt!â Jason yelled out before stomped his way back to the tent.
You were quick to follow him back to the tent. When you finally got inside, Jason was silent, almost ignoring you.
âIâm sorry Jason, I didnât mean to worry youâ you apologized.
âWhy would you do that y/n! You couldâve gotten hurt! I wouldâve lost you!â Jason sobbed.
âIâm sorry, I just needed to use the restroom and-â
You were interrupted when Jason smashed his lips against yours. As your lips met, a tingling sensation ran through your body. You felt his hands gently cup her face as he deepened the kiss, his lips moving against yours with a certain urgency, as if he could lose you at any moment. When the two of you pulled apart, you struggled to open your eyes for a bit.
âI- Iâm so sorry y/n- I would completely understand if you hate me after this- I didnât mean t-â
Now it was your turn to interrupt him as you pulled him in for another kiss. This time, the kiss was full of tenderness and passion, and intimacy. You wrapped your arms around him, pulling him close as you enjoyed the taste of him.
As you finally broke the kiss, you looked into each other's eyes, yours eyes were full of love, but not like before. Before, you looked at him in a friendly manner, but now, you looked at Jason with a special kind of love that made him feel warm.
âThank you for saving me from those angry dogs Jasonâ you blushed.
âWolfs y/n, they were wolfsâ Jason chuckled.
âAwwwww how cute!!!â Stephanie giggled.
You and Jason immediately turned your head to see that not only was Stephanie there recording, everyone else was awake too.
âHow long have you guys been watching for!â Jason yelled.
âWe heard you screaming y/nâs name so we woke up and saw you guys talking to each other, and MAN I didnât expect that to happen!â Tim said.
âEven im shockedâ Damian commented.
âSooooo⌠Are you guys together now?!â Dick asked impatiently.
âI guess soâ you smiled.

Ambrose and Elliot #35
Masterpost
Previous
Next
Warnings: noncon, mind control spell
[REDACTED] coughed and sputtered as laughter rang in his ears. The cum was bitter on his tongue, but he swallowed anyway to please Masterâs guests.
Masterâs friends were just as cruel and just as delighted in his misery as Master, and it was his duty to entertain them.
âGood boy,â the man mocked. [REDACTED] closed his eyes, drinking in the praise. It was the only reward heâd get.
His hair was suddenly yanked in another direction, and he cried out as he was dragged.
âMy turn,â the man said, and [REDACTED] instinctively opened his mouth.
Heâd been trained well.
Tears slid down his face while the man fucked his throat. He focused on breathing, relaxing his throat the best he could as the assault went on.
His chains rattled, and the moans from the man were loud, but all the noise turned to fuzz in his mind.
I deserve this. Itâs my place.

The party was almost over.
Richard was pleasantly tipsy, and his friends had a great time. Usually they didnât all come, but now that he had a slave to entertain them, no one turned down an invitation. Finally.
If he knew a slave was all it took for them to like him, he would have gotten one ages ago.
Just about everyone was passed out, drunk on wine and sated from sex. Richard might have a nap soon too, after he put the boy away.
âGet up,â he ordered, kicking his slave. The young man whimpered, and shakily got to his feet.
Richard shoved him forward. The ankle chains made him move slowly, but that was the point.
He locked the slave in the cell, and returned to the great room.
Seb was still up, swirling a glass.Â
âGreat party,â he said, taking another sip.
âThank you,â Richard said proudly, sitting heavily on his couch.
âI was wondering thoughâŚâ Sebastian trailed off.
âWhat?âÂ
Seb turned to him, chin resting on his fist. âArenât you worried your slut will run off?â
Richard scoffed, dismissive, but Seb didnât seem to agree.
âHow could he?â asked Richard, rhetorically. âI lock him up every night.â
âYou could always forget,â Seb pointed out. âLook at you, youâre swaying.â
âSo what?â snapped Richard, irritated. âI can handle it. Heâs in cuffs.â
âAlways?â
âWell⌠no.â
âThen there you go.â Seb leaned back into his seat. âOne day youâll have your fun, forget to lock him up, then boom- heâs gone and youâre in deep shit.â
Richard thought it over. Fuck.
âYeah,â Seb agreed, glancing at his face. âThen heâll tell, and weâll all be in deep shit. And do you really want to get these guys in trouble?â Seb gestured towards the others, and he was right.
Richard liked having them over, but most of his buddies were involved with⌠less than legal business. If he got their families pissed off because he couldnât keep a lid on some stupid fun-
Well. No more Richard.
âWhat do you think I should do?â
Seb shrugged, and Richardâs anxiety rose.
âCut off a leg maybe?â
âEw. Iâm not doing that.â He wrinkled his nose. He liked his slave as he was, with pretty white hair and blue eyes. His body was perfect, and losing a limb was disgusting.
âThen youâre fucked, I guess. Unless you can come with something better.â Sebastian reached for the last bottle of wine. He poured himself another full glass. Richard held his out and Seb topped him off.
He swirled his glass, watching the dark liquid slosh. Gods, he needed a nap, but now he was too concerned to drop the idea.
âYou really think heâll try and run? I beat the shit out of him the first time he tried anything. Itâs been months and he hasnât acted up.â
Seb shrugged. âI once heard a story where a man chewed off his own arm to get out from under a fallen boulder.â
âGross.âÂ
Richard got the point. It was just in peopleâs nature to try anything to go back home.
Unless⌠there wasnât a home to go to. If his plaything didnât know any better- didnât know freedom- then he wouldnât leave.
Dogs donât run away to become wolves after all.
Richard downed his glass, pleased with himself. He was a genius, even when drunk.

Mage Thomas stared at Richard, disgust and anger swirling together in his insides.
âYou did what?â
He knew Richard- now Lord Dael, what a joke- was sleazy and an ass, but this was something else.
It was evil.
Richard opened his mouth to explain again, but Thomas held up a hand.
âNope. Iâm not hearing this again.â
âAre you going to help me?âÂ
âAbsolutely not!â Thomas shot up from the couch. âIf you have any sense left,â he snapped, âYouâll let the man go.â
âI canât do that!â Richard whined, standing. âHeâll get us all arrested!â
âYou deserve it!â Thomas shouted. âYouâre torturing him! Itâs a crime against the gods-â
âOh, you want to talk about crime?â Richard snapped back, and Thomasâs heart sank.
âWe said weâd never mention that!â
âWell, Iâm mentioning it.â Richard crossed his arms. âIf you wonât do it, Iâll tell your head priest and you kiss magehood goodbye.â
Fury rose in Thomasâs chest, and he knew Richard had won.
âFine.â he hissed.
Richard dropped his glower. âReally?â he asked brightly, and it reminded Thomas of when they were kids. Before Richard turned into a spoiled shithead. âI thought it would take more convincing.â
âDonât rub it in,â he muttered. Thomas paced back and forth.
âOkay, three conditions,â he listed off. âYou never contact me again, and I get ten thousand gold. And you swear with magic not to discuss the⌠thing we wonât mention.â
âDeal.â
___________________
Thomas looked down at the young man sitting on the bench. They were in Richardâs study, and it was more opulent than Thomas remembered.
The boy looked no more than sixteen, and his condition was horrifying. Dark bags under his eyes, bruises and hickies and bite marks on his skin. He looked starved, like a small wind would knock him over. The young manâs head hung low, and there was a shiver in his bones.
Richard had done this to him. For fun. He almost couldnât believe that his friend- former friend- had grown into such a monster.
He glanced over his shoulder at Richard, who was sitting at the desk.Â
âWell?â
Thomas looked back at the kid.
âThereâs- thereâs different types of memory spells,â he said, stalling. He really really didnât want to perform one.
âLike what?â
The boy flinched at Richardâs voice, and Thomas closed his eyes.
âIt, uh, depends on what you want gone,â he said, guilt already heavy in his gut.Â
âJust get rid of everything.â
He turned, facing Richard. âEverything? Heâll lose skills.âÂ
Richard shrugged, putting his feet on the desk.
âHe wonât be able to read or write. Heâll have to learn again. He wonât even be able to understand you. Knowing how to speak and listen is a skill,â Thomas explained.
Richard frowned.
âThen donât make him forget that. Just get rid of his name. You know. Family, home, the stuff that makes him want to leave.â
Thomas took a deep breath. Gods, this was so unethical. Evil.
âOkay, okay.â
He turned back to the boy, whose face was hidden by his long shaggy hair.
Thomas brushed the bangs away, and the young man flinched. âJust look at me,â Thomas said softly.
He looked up, eyes wide and shiny with tears. âItâs not going to hurt,â he soothed.
âJust get on with it.â
âI need to concentrate,â he told Richard.Â
Richard rolled his eyes, and got up to go wait outside. Thomas waited for the door to slam.
âIâm really sorry about this,â he said, moving more of the dirty hair aside.
He adjusted the boyâs position, tilting his chin up with a gentle hand.Â
âJust relax.âÂ
Thomas put two fingers to either side of the kidâs temple, and pulled on the magic inside of him. The contact spots began to softly glow, and he concentrated all his thoughts on making sure he was doing it correctly.
There was a massive amount, sixteen years worth of memories. He erased as much as he dared, and as he delved further and further into the mind, the boyâs eyes became more and more dull.
Bright blue faded into a cloudiness as his personhood dissolved at Thomasâs fingertips.
The boyâs head became heavier, until Thomas was finished, and he was in a deep sleep.
Thomas moved him to lie down, carefully avoiding jostling his head.
He bit his lip. It was over, and he felt so dirty.
Thomas stepped out of the study, closing the door with a soft click.
âWell?â
Thomas wiped his hands on his shirt. âItâs done. Heâs asleep.â
Richard moved towards the door, and Thomas caught his wrist before he could barge in.
âLet him rest. You might kill him if you wake him too early. Heâll be up in a few hours.â
âHe could die? You never told me that!â
âHis brain is practically pudding right now,â Thomas explained, frustrated. âHeâs susceptible to anything.â
Richard ripped his wrist out of Thomasâs grip. âSusceptible?â he asked, wheels turning.
âYouâre disgusting. Donât ever talk to me again.â
Thomas turned and stalked out.

chapter i: the third floor
toji x reader (she/her. tits & vagina)
cw: child neglect, fuckboy Toji, gambling, alcohol, no curses au, found family, DILF Toji, Toji is motivated by sex.
masterlist
"Need help?" A muscular man approached you as you moved in to your new apartment. It wasn't the nicest building, but it was a desperately needed change. You were new to the city, new to your job, and the friendliness of this stranger was very much appreciated- especially since it looked like he could carry a lot more than you.
"Sure," you smiled, "thank you."
"Toji Fushiguro ." The man stuck his hand out, and you took it in a handshake. You could feel his rough callouses and the warmth radiating under his skin. You introduced yourself before you each grabbed a box.
"You from around here?" He asked as you led him to your apartment.
"Not really." You hit the button of the rickety elevator. It dinged as the door opened. "I'm from a small town. It's not really close."
"Moved here from far away, huh?" Toji watched as you pressed the number three on the elevator. That was his floor. "What brought you here, then?"
"I just needed a change, I guess." An escape was what you were calling it in your head. Your hometown had become suffocating, the expectations of your peers and family drowning you in depression. They kept asking when you'd get a better job. When you'd get married. When you'd have kids.
The elevator door opened on floor three with another ding.
"This is me." You said, walking down the hall to one of the corner units.
"Hey," Toji grinned as you let yourself in. "I'm right here." He nodded his head to the other corner unit.
"Nice to meet you then, neighbor." You turned around to flash him a smile.
Toji initially came to offer help because he thought you were hot and it would be convenient to have a fuck buddy in the same building. He wasn't expecting how easy it was to flirt with you, compliments coming as naturally as breathing.
"What a treat," he chuckled, "having someone as pretty as you for a neighbor." You set your box down and rubbed the back of your neck, feeling your nerves jitter at the compliment. You could say the same thing to him about having an attractive and helpful guy next door, but you didn't want him to get the wrong idea.
"You buttering me up or something?" Your laugh was a little nervous. You really didn't know how to handle a guy this flirty.
"Maybe I am," Toji smirked, walking out of your apartment to go get another box. "I'd be stupid not to make a pass at the cutest girl in the building."
Toji took every opportunity to admire you as he helped move the rest of your things into your new place. He kept flirting and was infuriatingly successful in flustering you several times. Finally, while moving the last of the boxes, you thought to yourself that it might be nice to have company for dinner. Or maybe you just wanted him to keep showering you with attention.
"Do you want to stay for dinner? Or a drink?" You offered.
"I'll have a drink." He was so casual, leaning against your empty kitchen counter like he lived there too. "Can't stay for dinner, though."
"Got a date or something?" You wanted to tease him a little, but you spoke without thinking. After his relentless flirting, it would be incredibly embarrassing if it turned out he did. Or worse, a wife waiting next door for him to return.
"Oh?" You watched a sly grin appear his face. "And why might you be interested in that?"
Butterflies invaded your stomach, and heat rushed to your cheeks. This time it was your own fault you got flustered. He slowly walked closer to you, making it harder to avoid his gaze. You didn't even have to answer now; it was crystal clear you were interested in him.
"Just making conversation." You finally brushed it off, rummaging in your boxes for your liquor and glassware. "Is whiskey ok?"
"On the rocks." He grinned. "And to answer your question, it is a date." Your heart dropped. You had to remind yourself that you didn't even know this guy. That he was a stranger.
"Oh." You avoided looking at him as you fished out the whiskey and carefully poured a little his glass, fetching a few ice cubes.
"Sorry, sweetheart." He chuckled. "Just a joke. I have some leftovers I have to finish tonight."
"You don't have a date." You gave him a cold stare, which just made him laugh more.
"I don't really go on dates." He shrugged. "Gotcha though." He winked, the smile lingering on his face while you handed him the glass of whiskey.
"You're going to be a problem, aren't you?" You couldn't help but smile and roll your eyes at his joke, although it was at your expense.
"If you see it that way." He took a sip of his whiskey.
"What's that supposed to mean?" You watched him carefully, trying to see if he would slip up like you did.
"I've been nothing but nice to you," he stepped closer, setting his drink on the counter. He was undoubtedly invading your personal space, and you noted how good his natural musk smelled. "Is that a problem?"
"Your flirting is the problem." Your subtle smirk betrayed your words.
"My flirting is a bonus." He corrected you, throwing back the rest of his whiskey. "And I plan to do it much, much more." He inched closer, and your heart skipped a beat. You searched for a response, but none came to mind. At least, not one you wanted to say to someone you just met.
Toji considered toying with you more, but seeing how you lived across the hall, he wasn't concerned about running into you again. He wanted to take it slow; it was more important for you to come to him next time. So, he stepped away from you with a grin. He had you right where he wanted you, anyway.
"Thanks for the whiskey." He smirked. "If you need any help around the house, let me know. I'm pretty good at fixing stuff." He turned to leave.
"Wait," you stopped him. "Thanks for helping me move. Is there anything I can do to repay you?"
"Don't worry about it, sweetheart." Toji leaned on the door frame, a cocky smile spreading on his face. "I can't ignore a damsel in distress."
You rolled your eyes. You should have guessed this guy would make one more pass at you. "I could have done it myself."
"I know." He backed out of the door. "But you don't need to with me here."
"Nice save." You chuckled.
"Seriously, if there's anything you need, just stop by." Something about Toji's smile was more genuine now, his soft gaze sparking those butterflies again.
"I'll keep that in mind."
-
A couple of weeks later...
Toji swung the door of his apartment open, an agitated look on his face. When he saw it was you waiting, his expression softened, but it was too late. His annoyance had already burned itself into your mind.
"Sorry to bother you." You rubbed the back of your neck, glancing warily at him. You'd waited a couple of weeks before you stopped by for Toji's help again, admittedly feeling lonely and making the request more for his company than anything.
You noticed the scar on his lip, and his intimidating build that made you think twice about dropping by unannounced again. It's not that you forgot what he looked like, you just didn't really notice a few things the first time you met. You figured his friendly approach when you moved in hid his rough edges.
"It's fine." You could almost see him turning on his charm, flashing you that flirty smile you were so familiar with. "What do you need, sweetheart?"
"I was hoping to hang some shelves, but I don't really know how." You dragged your eyes along his body, heart skipping a beat when you accidentally met his sultry gaze. He was watching you check him out.
"Say no more." He held a hand up. "I'll be right over. Just let me wrap something up."
"Of course," you smiled at him and went back to your apartment. "Just come in when you're ready."
He closed the door, quickly grabbing his toolbox and stopping in the living room, where the sound of children's shows softly played.
"Megumi," He payed little mind to the child in front of the TV. "I'm going to help the woman next door with something. I'll be back later."
Megumi glanced at the man indifferently. "Kay."
You were only waiting a few minutes before Toji barged into your apartment. "Honey, I'm home!" He proclaimed.
"Are we playing house now?" You stepped out of your bedroom to greet him.
"That depends." Toji put on a wide grin. "Does that make you my wife?"
"Don't make me kick you out." You sighed, although you were already feeling less lonely. "I really don't want to put these shelves up by myself..."
"C'mon, sweetheart." Toji casually strolled into your apartment with his toolkit, looking around at the decor. There were still boxes around, but it already felt more homey than his place. "Didn't you miss me?"
"I'd rather not admit that to you." The soft look in your eyes was more honest than you meant it to be.
"You don't have to." Toji chuckled. "You're making it pretty obvious."
"I don't have many friends yet. I'm a little lonely, that's all." You brushed off his teasing, leading him to the shelves in question. "Ok, I want these here." You gestured at the shelves on the floor, then the wall, effectively changing the subject.
"You got it, sweetheart." Toji opened his toolkit and started measuring the wall, penciling where he'd need to drill the holes.
"Can I get you anything?"Â Your gaze traced over his muscular back as he focused on the work.
"How about a glass of whiskey for when I'm done here?"Â
"Sure. On the rocks?" You asked, primarily to gawk at him a little longer.
"Memorized my order already?" Toji chuckled, turning his head to catch you staring at him. "Have you been thinking about me that much?"
"Please." You quickly turned away, shuffling into the kitchen to pour his drink. "Anyone can remember that."
"Stop playing hard to get." He drilled a hole in the wall between thoughts. "It'll save us both some time." He turned to you and smirked.
"I'm still getting used to it here." You took a bottle of wine out to pour yourself a glass. "I'm not interested in dating anybody right now."
"Who said anything about us dating?" Toji drilled another hole into the wall. You took a sip of your wine as he picked up the shelf off the floor and held it up. "I'm looking for something more casual myself."
You watched as he mounted the shelf. "I guess I could be open to that." The words fell from your lips with little thought, your loneliness and desire overwhelming the rational thought that you probably shouldn't sleep with him. If nothing else, you couldn't exactly bring someone else home with a man like Toji across the hall.
"No shit." Toji smirked, a hint of surprise in his tone.
"What, didn't expect that from me?" You chuckled, sipping your wine. "I can mess with you too, you know."
"So you didn't mean it?" He pouted.
"Of course not." You lied. You meant it. But you knew getting involved with a playboy like him would probably get you hurt. "You're my only friend here. I won't sacrifice that for a little sex." Shit. You didn't mean to say that, either.
"Not really what I was gunning for," Toji sighed. "But I love a challenge." He couldn't fathom how he was your only friend, but his pride swelled at the thought. "You don't know what you're missing out on."
"Tell me about how great you are in bed." You giggled, not quite done messing with him.
"Don't mind if I do." He laughed with you. As he described some of his favorite sex positions, he hung the second shelf. He used the sound of the drill to censor any particularly spicy language, enjoying the sound of your laughter as he finished up. Afterwards, he strolled over to you, picking up his glass of whiskey and taking a sip.
"Helps that I have a big dick." He chuckled, wrapping up his erotic description.
"Oh, fuck off." You giggled again as he sat next to you on your couch.
"I just thought you should know." He shrugged as his smile faded. There was a short but comfortable silence. You didn't feel so isolated anymore with Toji here keeping you company. You wondered if you should ask for his number or something and stop leaving your meetings up to chance.
"It's pretty comfortable in here." He looked around nonchalantly, then at you before he added, "maybe I'll come by more often."
"I'd like that." You genuinely smiled for the first time in what felt like a very long time.
-
It had only been a couple of months in the new apartment when a cabinet door fell off the hinges, nearly hitting your toe as it clattered to the ground.
"Shit..." You mumbled to yourself, Toji immediately jumping to your mind. Actually, it was hard to get him out of your mind. You didn't want to seem needy or clingy, so you hadn't talked to him much since he helped you put up the shelves. Not to mention that the sexual tension was nearly unbearable when he was around.
You still didn't have many friends, finding it difficult to get your coworkers to hang out. Even though you only ran into him occasionally, Toji was still one of the few people you could call a friend in the city so far.
So here you stood, regretting not asking for his phone number earlier as you knocked on his apartment door with your nerves going wild.
You were waiting a while, feeling your pulse quicken when you knocked again. Finally, the door opened a crack and there was a child where you expected Toji to be, his gaze piercing into your soul.
"Hello." You put on a smile. If the kid didn't look exactly like your neighbor, you would have wondered if someone else moved in. "Is, um, Toji here?"
He just looked at you, completely emotionless. "No."
"Are you... alone here?"
"Dad says I can be home alone if I'm good." He had such an intense glare for a kid.
"Toji's your dad?" You wondered how this detail slipped through the cracks. Well, with how flirty Toji was, the answer was clear. He didn't tell you because he didn't want you to know. It just made you wonder what else he was keeping from you.
"Yeah." The kid stepped back a little, pushing the door closed a bit before adding. "I should go. I'll tell him you came." Before you could say anything, you heard the latch on the door click.
You frowned, questions swirling in your mind that you couldn't get an answer to without him there. You took a deep breath, knocking on the door again. Above all, you were worried about such a young kid home alone.
The door cracked open again. "Dad says not to talk to strangers." Despite his words, the kid didn't close the door.
"Are you lonely? Do you want me to come play with you?" The child's eyes widened for a moment before he looked down.
"No." He replied. "You should go home." He still lingered, his piercing gaze on you.
"I just live across the hall here if you need anything, ok?" You pointed at your door, then told him your name. He seemed to recognize the door across the hall. Maybe Toji told him about you.
"Ok." The kid stepped back. "I'll tell dad you came." He closed the door again.
-
You didn't hear from Toji all night. It wasn't really about your cabinets anymore- his kid was just staying home alone? Your thoughts wandered to next door more than you'd care to admit, and you berated yourself even more for not getting Toji's number last time you saw him.
While you were making coffee the next morning, you heard a knock on the door. You walked over and looked through the peephole to the man who occupied your thoughts for the better part of last night. You let him in with a smile, but you really didn't know what to say.
"Sorry about last night. You talked to Megumi?" Toji rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah, your kid? How old is he?" you asked, walking to the kitchen as Toji followed. You really wanted to ask him why the kid was home alone, or why he seemed so apathetic, or who the mother was, but you couldn't bring yourself to press him about it.
"He's five." Toji watched as you grabbed a couple of coffee mugs from a cupboard that was missing a door. "Is that why you stopped by?" He added, pointing it out.
"You guessed it." You chuckled. "Coffee?"
"Sure." His tone was off. He wasn't flirting like usual. "So, listen, I didn't mean for you to meet Megumi like that." He watched as you prepared the coffee. "Childcare is expensive, and I can't really afford regular care for him with my job. He's a good kid, though. He's never had any issues with it."
"What if something happens? Aren't you worried?" The coffee maker started gurgling. The aroma of the beans filled the room as the water started trickling into the urn.
"He'll be fine. Practically takes care of himself." Toji assured you. "Really. Just forget about him."
"He's five." You furrowed your brow. "He's too young to be left alone like that."
"A single dad like me doesn't have a lot of options." Toji bit back the annoyance that was bubbling in his mind. What did you know about what it was like raising a kid? He knew he wasn't exactly knocking it out of the park, but the kid never complained about his parenting style. "Unless you're offering to watch him." He chuckled, assuming you'd say no. It's not like the kid was your responsibility.
"It could be a good way for me to repay you." You responded, too genuinely for his taste. "You know, for helping me out so much." You grinned.
Toji thought he had you. He thought you'd drop it. It wasn't your problem. He didn't expect you to offer to take care of the kid. He didn't even want you to know about Megumi. The kid always complicated his relationships, which is why he kept it from you. He just wanted you to be his fuck buddy. Now he'd be a single father to you. You'd be a witness to how he raised his kid, and if he did a bad job, you'd hate him for it. Or worse, if he did a good job, you'd probably start thinking about him fathering your kids, too. This conversation was going much, much worse than he expected.
"Who's playing house now?" Toji smirked, ignoring his spiraling thoughts as he leaned on your counter. "You want to be my wife that bad , huh?"
The coffee maker beeped to signal it was done. You pulled the urn out of the machine to pour some in each of your mugs. "This is about Megumi. You can't just leave him alone like that. He's five."
Toji's smirk disappeared as you deflected his teasing. He was silent for a minute as he contemplated his options. If sex with you was still on the table, he'd be ruining his chances by declining your offer. His eyes drifted over your form, sexy as ever in your sleep shorts and an oversized t-shirt. God, he wanted to fuck you. He could deal with whatever fallout happens in a few months when you inevitably find out what a shitty guy he is.
Involuntarily, the image of coming home to you and Megumi popped into his head. You were both fallen asleep on his couch while some kids' movie played on his TV. His eyes widened almost unnoticeably, feeling a strange warmth at the idea. He pushed it out of his mind again, staring at your ass as you pulled some milk out of the fridge. His cock twitched, imagining bending you over that countertop and railing into you.
"Milk or sugar?" You asked, looking at him.
"Huh?" He wasn't listening.
"For your coffee." You nodded at the mugs.
"Oh. No thanks." Toji grabbed the mug, looking briefly at the steam rising from the dark liquid before putting on a cool smile. "You want to start tonight? I got a job."
"A job?" You tilted your head, preparing the coffee to your preference. You took a sip.
"Yeah, I work in security so I can have weird hours." He chuckled. That was his usual story.
"Sure. Yeah, of course." You beamed. God, you were cute. "What time should I come?"
"Six." Toji drank a sip of the coffee. It was still pretty hot. "Want me to fix that before I go?" He pointed at your cabinet.
"If you don't mind." You felt heat rush to your cheeks, remembering the other question you needed to ask. "And, uh, since I'll be babysitting, maybe I should get your number?"
Toji grinned. You knew he'd be annoying about this. "Such a crafty girl. Using my desperate situation to take advantage of me..." He feigned offense.
"You know what? Never mind." You rolled your eyes. "I think I'm better off without your number."
"Oh, don't say that." He chuckled. "You want to text me so bad, it's obvious." He smirked.
"So what's my tell?" You folded your arms. Toji had gotten up from the counter and moved towards the cabinet, pulling out the mini toolkit he brought with him.
"That's my secret."

Star Park AU: Stan Marsh Edition
-> Lives on Tegridy Farms with his family. His dad sold their house and moved them out to the valley when Stan was ten. (They're essentially where Marnie is in game.)

-> Plays football with Clyde, Craig, and Tolkien! Kenny and Cartman will join in sometimes and he practically drags Kyle out to join them.
-> He works for Joja Mart with his sister. They'd both rather work there than be near their dad.
ă He's saving up to move back to the city, or so he says. Truth be told he can't leave behind Sparky or his Mom.
-> He bought his own chicken coop and has a few chickens of his own.
-> He goes to the saloon every night, most nights by himself
-> But on Fridays, after Jimmy's comedy act, him and his band will play!
-> On Sundays when everyone else is in church or doing their own thing. Stan and Kyle will go up to the summit past the railroad tracks and spend hours up there. Catching up and just unwinding.

Heart Event @ 2:
Stan is throwing empty beer bottles at the passing train, they shatter just as the Farmer approaches him. He looks back at them with a grin offering one for them to throw. He mentions that he was drinking with his friend Kenny but he had to go, so now he's just passing time. He's not quite drunk yet but he's tipsy. When the Farmer takes the bottle and throws it he relaxes a little, says that he's glad they're not put off by the behavior. After a little bit of silence, he asks them why they moved to the Valley. There's not a lot of money in farming and then makes a comment about how he fucking hates it. How he feels isolated from the rest of the town sometimes.
-> Feels that way sometimes doesn't it? But at least you have your friends (+)
-> You're literally closer to town than I am, don't your friends come to visit you? (-)
If First Option: He mulls it over and decides you're right. He should he grateful he at least has them. Though lately it feels like they're drifting apart. Stan comments how you must feel lonely being new to town and all.
"Oh well. I guess we can be lonely losers together. Farmer buddies and all that."
If Second Option: Stan doesn't really appreciate the sass. He wasn't looking for a pity party, just wanted to kinda vent. He makes note not to talk about it again.
"Yeah sure. I guess, but you didn't have to be a dick about it."
Heart Event @ 4:
Stan and his friends are playing pool at the tavern, a rare instance where they're all off work and finally get to hang out. He leans over the pool table and sinks another ball, much to Kyle's annoyance. As the Farmer comes in Cartman makes a comment that Kyle is getting his ass kicked and bad. It prompts Kyle to snap at him and shake the pool cue at him. Kenny and Stan laugh a little before Stan realizes you're there. He smiles and gestures for you to come over! Now that you're here they have enough for teams. Farmer is confused because there's already four of them, they make five. Stan whispers in their ear, explaining that Cartman won't play with Kyle anymore. He lost one time and now he's convinced that Kyle cheated. Something about how there's no way Kyle would ever actually win a game fair and square. When you agree he gets excited and before anyone else gets the chance he announces that you'll be on his team!
"Awesome! We're gonna smoke these guys! Kenny wrack 'em! Farmer is with me!"
â ď¸ TW: Attempted suicide ahead â ď¸
Heart Event @ 6:
Stan's drinking again. Right next to the railroad tracks but this time he's got one foot on the railroad, rocking back and forth. There's glass bottles around him, unbroken and too many to count. He almost stumbles down to the ground but he keeps himself up. Farmer approaches and that's when they hear the sound of the train coming in, and it's coming fast. Stan had no intentions on moving, in fact he looks like he's about to fall forward willingly. The dead look in his eyes tells them that much. Farmer runs across the field and tackles him into the ground, the train narrowly missing the both of them. Stan lays there having just had the wind knocked out of him. His head is spinning and he feels sick, but he also feels the Farmer on his chest and his back against the ground. He's not dead. Then it hits him, you almost died to save him. You who's kept talking to him despite everything, even when he was being an ass.
"You....you could have gotten yourself killed why would you do that?"
-> I couldn't just stand there and watch you die Stan!
-> Are you crazy?! You almost got us both killed!
-> I don't know...my legs just moved on their own.
-> (Just hug him)
If First Option: Stan starts crying and presses his palms into his eyes. He lays there and sobs, but he feels safe enough to do it.
"Hey Farmer...hic...can you help me to Kyle. I'm scared."
If Second Option: He grits his teeth and digs his hand into the dirt. Stan knows what he did was crazy, he can't be mad at you for snapping like that. You just saved his life. But he didn't ask you to.
"Fuck...I know. Look, just help me get to Kyle. I think I'm gonna be sick."
If Third Option: Stan doesn't know what to say but he thinks he gets it. He just closes his eyes and tries to stop the dizzy ride his drunken state is on. He doesn't want to move but he can't just lay here all day.
"Do you think Kyle is gonna yell at me...if I show up looking like this? Maybe if I just go to sleep I won't have to think about it."
If Fourth Option: Stan freezes he wasn't expecting the Farmer to do that. They should be angry with him, furious. But they're hugging him and clinging to him for dear life. His life. Stan wraps his arms around them and starts to cry. It's the most vulnerable he's been with anyone in a long time.
"Shit...fuck dude...just please don't let me go. I don't wanna go. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
Heart Event @ 8:
It's early morning when the Farmer steps out, they're greeted with the sound of music. Stan is sitting on their porch playing his old guitar, the acoustic one that's seen better days. When the Farmer gets closer he looks up at them for a moment, unable to look them in the eye for too long. After a moment of silence, he tells them that Kyle got it out of storage for him. Says it'll help him focus on something other than the withdrawals and that Kyle put him in contact with a therapist. He thanks the Farmer for saving his life, and apologizes that they had to see that. As he plays a somber tune again he makes a comment, this is the first time he's been on their farm. First time he's been out this way since they moved into the valley. He confesses that your farm is a lot nicer than his dad's and that maybe farming isn't so bad. Farmer sits beside him and he quietly continues playing, they've never heard him play this song before.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry I've been a jerk to you. You and Kyle shouldn't have to take care of me, but you did. You care and I should remember that. Sparky would have been really upset if I never came home. So thanks...for everything."
When given the bouquet:
"!! I don't understand why you'd choose me, but...I'm selfish and I want you all to myself. So I accept!"
Heart Event @ 10:
Stan is leading Farmer past the railroad tracks, he doesn't even seem bothered much anymore to be here. He leads them up the path that he's taken a thousand times. There he leads them to the summit, his favorite spot to be at. They sit together at the edge if the cliff with their legs dangling off the side. He admits to them that he liked coming up here a lot as a kid, when his dad and him would fight it was his little hiding spot. Then he brought Kyle and it became special. The days where he'd get stupid drunk he'd think about just falling forward like that day with the train. But it's because of those amazing memories with his best friend, he could never bring himself to do it. They're special and he wouldn't want to ruin them for Kyle. It's things like that, that remind him why he's alive. Things like you. He smiles at the Farmer and tells you this. Tells Farmer he wants to continue to make more memories with them so he has a reason. His hand inches closer to theirs, not quite touching. Before he can pull away, Farmer takes his hand and slides closer to him. They rest their head on his shoulder and look up towards the big illuminated moon that's in front of them. Stan wraps his arm around them and lays his cheek on top of their head.
"Every moment with you reminds me why I'm here. I'm not...perfect and I don't think I'll ever understand why you choose to stick around. But I meant what I said, I want you around me always. I can breath with you around."
Heart Event @ 14:
Stan's outside playing with Sparky and Farmer's pet, when he moved in he brought his beloved dog with him. Sparky seems to be getting better every day he's here and Stan couldn't be happier. Farmer walks up with hearts in their eyes, making him a little bashful. He rubs the back of his neck just as Sparky brings the ball back. He mentions that he really loved animals, and that he's always had a soft spot for them. Farmer questions him about his love for Survival Burgers, which he quickly points out that they're made of Cave Carrot NOT beef! After a little while of playing with the pets he sits in the field with them, looking over their hardwork. Stan turns red and starts ranting about how the last time he went to visit his dad, he started nagging him about grandkids. He's embarrassed because Randy has never mentioned it before and it makes him uncomfortable.
"He's such an ass! You'd think he'd stop trying to tell me how to live my life after I moved out. Why doesn't he bother Shelly with this?!"
-> He probably does. We don't have to have kids if you don't want them! I'm just happy you're here with me! Don't let him get to you!
-> Don't let your dad pressure you into anything you're not ready for. It's our relationship and we'll decide when and if we want kids. But if you're anything like you are with Sparky towards kids, I think you'd be a great dad!
If First Option: Stan grins and tells them they're right as always. He leans down and kisses the top of their head. Sparky walks over with the Farmer's pet and lays in their lap. Stan smirks and makes a comment about how they could just get another dog.
"Our farm is big enough for another one right? We could get one or two more puppies. They could help with the sheep and chickens! Help dig holes!"
If Second Option: Stan says he'll think on it. Later that night while Farmer is cleaning up the dishes and putting them away. Stan walks up behind them and wraps his arms around them. He murmurs in their ear that he's been doing nothing but thinking about what they said. The thought of starting a family with them is starting to sound appealing, plus it could be fun raising a mini them. He presses a kiss into their temple.
"You really think I'll make a good dad? I just don't wanna end up like mine...but if you're with me I think I could do it. And if they're anything like you, they'll be an amazing kid."
Random Marriage Quotes!!
"You looked really adorable asleep last night...you also drooled on my arm."
"Having a bad thought day...I might be a little off today. I'm sorry."
"Babe, you got dirt on your face. C'mere, let me clean it. Just let me take care of you butthead!"
"Sparky and I watered the crops today! How do you know how much to give them? I feel like I'm drowning them."
"Fed the animals! They're doing great! Would...you judge me if I took a nap out in the field with them?"
"Hey...real quick...I uh- I love you. I know I don't say it enough and I'm sorry, but I really do."
"Morning. Made you some pancakes! I stole the recipe from my mom! Why do you look scared?"
"Hey babe, I'm going to visit my parents today. Please feel free to come save me when you're done doing what you need to do."
"Are you coming to the tavern tonight? We're playing a new song tonight, I wrote it for you."
"You know, when I was a kid, when I got nervous, I'd throw up. You make me nervous sometimes but I- hey! I'm not going to puke on you, I'm not twelve. Get back here!"

A rekindled jealousy || Neteyam & Aoânung & Tuk x fem!Omaticaya reader
Summary: When you leave the Omaticaya clan behind, your entire life changes. You may have a hard time adjusting to Metkayina's ways, but you use the opportunity to wake some jealousy in Neteyam
Warnings: fluff & a little bit of angst ( â Tuk being a little naughty, inquisitive shit â Ao'nung being visibly into the reader â jealous Neteyam) âĽ
Word count: 3490
Authors: Cass & Fenrir
A/N: Divider by wonderful firefly-graphics
We will adapt, his father said. Adaptation is inevitable, it's not like we have a choice. Adaptation had multiple meanings, and the Sully siblings defined it in their own way. For Kiri, adaptation required finding an inner peace that would make day-to-day tasks much easier. As for Tuk, it meant leaving everything she used to know behind and learning anew how to function among the other clan. In Lo'ak's case, the process was about discovering his inner self - knowing your fears was the path to becoming one with the water. Accordingly, for Neteyam adaptation meant being obedient and following his parents' orders. As the oldest, he knew that getting into trouble was the last thing they needed right now; he would again be punished by his father and grounded, for life this time, there was no doubt.
Despite not being a part of Neytiri's family, you became close to her as her friends' daughter, and Neyam was delighted that his parents had taken you along with them - after your parents died in yet another battle against RDA, Jake Sully's wife decided to care for their daughter. You became his best friend after many years spent together, and the fact that you were female didn't change anything - the eldest son of Jake and Neytiri was treating you like the best buddy, hanging out with you as much as possible. Despite moving to a brand-new location because of Quaritch and his buddies, Neteyam still preferred to spend time with you, diligently learning new things from Metkayina.
As you sat on a large rock, frowning, you tried your finest to weave nets. As you tapped your tail angrily against the hard surface, your fingers continued to work on your latest yet unsuccessful attempt; at least this was slightly better than the previous one. As each second passed, you grew more and more annoyed.
Little did you know that Ao'nung and his friends were observing you from a distance. Following a brief exchange of glances with his friends, he approached you. Even though he wasn't a big fan of the Sully family, you seemed so different from them, which made you more appealing. In addition, you had four fingers, so you weren't as strange as those Sullys' demon kids. "Y/N, right? I see you're struggling with weaving," he smiled at you and offered, "Why don't you join my friends and me in the water instead?"
You looked at your messed up work and then at him; maybe continuing wasn't necessary at the moment - your fingers hurt and you were getting frustrated, so you decided a small break was needed. Also, that could be very interesting. You smiled back and nodded, "I'd love to." Rotxo nodded his head in agreement as Ao'nung looked at him. "Let's go, it would be a shame to waste such a beautiful day weaving," Ao'nung encouraged you to leave your work behind.
Tuk, the youngest Sully, saw the entire situation and then decided to inform her older brother about what she had seen.
One last look at your nets convinced you that there was no point in trying. Your curiosity led you to follow Ao'nung after leaving your work behind.
"So, how do you like it here?" Ao'nung asked, glancing at you with a certain amount of curiosity.Â
"It's completely different," you replied, your tail flicking from side to side. "There's a lot of water. It's a little unusual for me."
Rotxo laughed a bit at your words. "You tree people can only cling to your lianas, right?"Â
Ao'nung glanced coldly at Rotxo, conveying his anger towards him. Tonowari's son told you, "Forgive my friend, he's a little crude. Have you already interacted with ilu?" He asked, trying to change the topic.
Your arms crossed over your chest as you hissed offendedly, "Well, he isn't really funny. Well, we can do a lot more than that. And about your question, I'm sorry but I'm not even sure what ilu is," you admitted a bit embarrassed.
Another Ao'nung's friend commented, "She doesn't even know what ilu is, that's ridiculous," but was instantly hit in the back of the head by Tonowari's son.
"An ilu is intelligent, sociable, and easily domesticated animal serves the reef clans, including our clan, as direhorses serve the Na'vi clans of the forests and jungles," Ao'nung explained softly, looking at you. "Do you feel afraid?"
Your interest was piqued by the description of the animal. With your tail moving equally eagerly, you enthusiastically shook your head. "Me? Afraid? No! That sounds fascinating! I'd love to see it." Ao'nung slowly stepped into the water until it reached his muscular calves, then he turned his head to see if you were following. As soon as he was sure you were right behind him, he offered you his hand.
Smiling softly, you took his hand and followed him into the water. Compared to what you were doing moments ago, this was much better, you thought to yourself. The two of you were watched from a distance by Ao'nung's friends, who stayed on the shore. They had no idea that they weren't the only ones watching...
The sound Ao'nung made was like whistling after he clicked his tongue several times. A loud chirping ilu emerged from the water shortly afterward.
"It's loud!" you giggled, feeling even more captivated by the creature. "Are you sure I or you won't be eaten by it?"
"Ilu? Don't worry, they won't bite if they're not bothered. Come, pet it slowly," he advised.Â
As you nodded slowly, you drew a little closer and gently petted the animal.
Ilu turned his head to you and chirped loudly in anticipation, blinking both pairs of its eyes. A gentle, inviting touch was evidently enjoyed by the animal, whose skin was soft to the touch.
In response to your very first interaction with the ilu, Ao'nung smiled. "You see? No biting."
A giggle escaped your lips, and you nodded in agreement. "I really like how soft and cute it is, and there is no biting at all. I didnât know theyâre so friendly!â
After seeing a small wave coming, he took a step closer to you and put his hand on your waist, supporting you from falling to your back due to the strong drift. "I told you it was worth trying."Â
"It would be appreciated if the waves were not so strong," you joked and politely thanked him for the support he provided. "In fact, it was well worth trying. This creature is so sweet and soft. If I weren't scared, I'd cuddle it."
"There's nothing stopping you from doing so," he said as his hand stayed on your waist. "First, I would suggest creating a bond, it's safer that way."
Meanwhile, Neteyam joined Ao'nung's friends on the shore. Watching you cooperate with the ilu while sitting under the warm sun was a cute way to spend his spare time. Everything would have been perfect if Ao'nung hadn't been doing everything he could to get closer to you. In the end, Neteyam let out a deep sigh - it seemed you were more interested in Metkayina lately, and he was helpless about it; his only concern was your widely understood happiness.
Your eyes widened when you noticed Neteyam with the corner of your eye. You hummed, pretending to think about Ao'nung's offer. This could make things even more interesting. Immediately, you became more flirtatious with Ao'nung. "Are you really bringing me here just to show me the ilu?"
A cheerful smile was given to you by Tonowari's son, who also petted ilu's head. "Why are you asking, Y/N? I was simply trying to relieve you of the unneeded job you were assigned."
With a soft smile, you teased, "Oh, I'm sorry. I was hoping for more from you, but apparently I was mistaken..."
With a bold move, he touched your shoulder with his palm as he asked, "More like? You know how much I value your friendship more than Sullys', so I'm willing to lend a helping hand whenever I can."
"Friendship may always evolve into something more," you shrugged, still petting the ilu's head.
While chirping loudly, ilu poked you in the side with its velvety muzzle. "We could always give it a chance, Y/N. What do you think?" Ao'nung asked as his hand climbed up your shoulder and landed in your crook of the neck.
"Maybe?" You purred as if you were considering it. Of course, you didn't care about any of this, all you cared about was Neteyam's reaction. Although you felt disappointed with the lack of response so far, you decided to keep trying and maybe coax it out of him.
You were so skilled at pretending that Ao'nung leaned forward, closed his eyes, and attempted to kiss you.
It was enough for Neteyam. When he got up to his feet, he got as close to the water as possible without getting in. Neteyam shouted, "What the hell are you doing, Ao'nung?"
Gasping, you took two small steps away from Ao'nung before looking at Neteyam. Oh, he was angry! "Neteyam, what's wrong?" You asked innocently, tilting your head to the side.
The grunt grew louder as Ao'nung opened his eyes and stared at Neteyam as well. "What's your problem, bro?"
"You're acting a bit too brazen, bro, and that's my problem. Leave Y/N alone," Neteyam said after issuing a warning; his eyes were then fixed on you. "Come on, Y/N, I think you still need to finish some things."
Your lips were softly curled into a smile as you whispered, "Yes, I believe I do."
Ao'nung was the first to exit the water, leaving ilu behind. "Well, well, well, look at that, Sully's into our sweet, little Y/N," he mocked, rolling his eyes.
Once you had given the ilu one last pet, you followed Ao'nung towards the shore, thinking how the situation would unfold.
Once Ao'nung got onto the shore, he pushed Neteyam's shoulder strongly with wry words followed by a snort, "Shall I remind you about your position here, Sully? You better be on your best behaviour, as your father suggested."
A frown could be seen on Neteyam's face, but he tried hard to maintain his composure. "Y/N, let's go."
"What's your problem, Net? We didn't do anything wrong, he was just showing me what ilu is."Â
Tuk, who was partially hidden behind Neteyam's legs, peered out and frowned at you. "We've been here for a while, and you still don't know anything about ilu? Eywa, please hold me tight, I can't deal with Y/N."
Neteyam ruffled his sister's hair and stared at you before saying, "I heard Ronal asked you to help with nets, and you heard what my parents said about us being guests here? We need to adapt and do whatever it takes to avoid being considered useless."
Putting yourself behind Ao'nung, you frowned. "I try to be useful, but making nets is boring and not meant for me? This just seems more fun."
Tuk stuck her tongue out at you, her glance full of concern. "Mom won't be happy."
"Hush," Neteyam whispered to Tuktirey while looking at Ao'nung. "As the chief's son, you should be more reasonable and help Y/N with the tasks she's assigned to."
Your head rested on Ao'nung's shoulder as you gazed at Neteyam. You teased, "Is it your only concern? Or are you simply jealous?"
Neteyam had already had enough of your behaviour - he thought he had shown you many times that you were more valuable to him, yet you seemed more interested in that thick piece of a man, called Ao'nung. "Maybe."
Ao'nung smiled even wider as you patted his shoulder before walking up to Neteyam to take his hand. "Maybe? Just maybe?"
From nowhere, the argument grew into a tornado. The intensity of Neteyam's rage blinded him to your heart and soul. His hand snatched back from your grasp as he snapped at you, "Don't. It seems that Ao'nung has nothing but hots for you, and since you seem to be more than interested, we won't bother you anymore in spending your time with our host. Tuk, come."
The little girl followed her brother enthusiastically, but of course she couldn't help but glance back at you, laying her ears and hissing, showing her perfect, sharp fangs.
It didn't work out as you thought it would; you laid your ears down and hissed back at her, crossing your arms over your chest. A deep sigh was heard from you as you excused yourselves and followed them quickly.
The fact that you followed Sullys was mocked by Ao'nung. "Come on, Y/N! We still might have some fun!â
"Apparently Y/N is more into the eldest of the Sully brothers," Rotxo replied to his friend, and Tonowari's son punched him hard in the side, giving him the coldest look he has ever given to anyone as a warning.
"Neteyam! Tuk! Wait for me!â You shouted after them, attempting to line up with the siblings.
Meanwhile, Neteyam sat on the rock where you had left your unfinished nets.
Since she was angry that you were playing with her beloved brother in such a cruel way, Tuk ignored you perfectly.
After softly sighing, you decided to sit right next to him. "Neteyam... Talk to me. I am sorry for angering you so much."
He answered, "I'm not furious," and continued to work on the weave with his long fingers.
While playing with the sand, Tuk giggled, "He's not angry, he's mad."
"Could you play somewhere else? I want to talk to him alone," you hissed at her.
Tuk stood up and placed her hands on her hips. "Don't order me, you're not my mother."
With a sigh, Neteyam told his younger sister to return to their hut and assist Kiri and mother with whatever they were doing.
The young girl complied with her brother's instructions while grunting loudly in annoyance.
You looked at him and sighed, "At least she listens to you. So, will you talk to me?â
"About?"
Then you moved closer to help him weave the net and whispered quietly, "About what happened. I didn't mean to anger you. I'm sorry for leaving my job. It just seemed like a nice offer and I was super flustered."
Without even glancing at you, he asked bitterly, "The offer or Ao'nung?"
Chuckling, you gently pinched his finger and continued to work. "The offer, as I mentioned earlier."
"Yeah. I bet."
"Neteyam," you said, taking his hand in your palm, "Why did you get so angry about me hanging out with him?"
"Hanging out with him, that's the clue," he said angrily, pulling his hand out of your grasp, weaving angry until his fingertips began to hurt - only then Neteyam threw the net away and after letting out a deep sigh, he massaged his temples. "Is he that interesting? Apparently, you were the one who said reef people were strange and unappealing."
"It wasn't because of him, but because I wanted to see an ilu," you explained, rolling your eyes. "There was a chance it would eat him rather than me in the event of an accident."
Neteyam was trying so hard to keep a straight face, but your comment made him giggle. "If only ilus could be as vicious as akulas, Ao'nung's issue might have been resolved long ago."
A smile spread across your face as you raised an eyebrow at him and asked, "You'd like that, huh?"
Prior to replying, Neteyam improved his necklace and waved his tail. "Maybe."
Your tail wiggled happily as you placed your chin on his shoulder with a mischievous smile. "I'm sure you would love that, hm? You wouldn't have to worry about someone stealing me from you."
"It's not like that, Y/N. We're just friends, you and I."
"Well..." you sighed deeply, "I'm disappointed to hear that, because I really wanted something more."
You were given a serious look as he asked, "Just like with Ao'nung, huh?"
As you gasped, you smacked his back with your tail. "I tried to get your attention by making you jealous. Is that what you wanted to hear?"
He grinned widely as he asked, "So you tried to make me jealous? Well, it appears you are interested in me, and I am flattered by that."
You whined, "Yes! I'm interested in you, but you're only paying attention to me in a friendly manner."
"And how do you know that, smartass?"
Blinking, you shrugged lightly. "That's how I felt."
"Then you must be blind."
You turned away and crossed your arms over your chest, pretending to be offended. "I'm not, it's just that your signs weren't clear enough."Â
In this case, Neteyam rested his chin against the crook of your neck, looking at you from your profile. "How many times did I accidentally catch your hand? How many times did I say there was no one but you? How many times did I skip my duties just to spend time by your side?"
You leaned against him, "I just thought it was because I was an orphan who your mother had taken care of and you took care of me because this was what your parents expected you to do."
With you by his side, Neteyam was able to relax his nerves as he closed his eyes, enjoying the warmth of the sun kissing his skin. "How wrong you were, Y/N."
"Now I know. What should we do about it?"
"Have you thought of anything in particular?"
Shrugging, you replied, "No. How about you?"
"My guess is that it's the part when you kiss her, Neteyam," tiny tone suggested. Nobody else but Tuk observed the entire situation while hiding among nearby bushes.
While eldest Sully facepalmed for not expecting his little sister to spy on him, he knew deep down she was right. In barely a second, he placed a hand on your cheek and rubbed you there with his thumb, before leaning forward to rub his nose against yours and briefly kiss your lips.
Wrapping your arms around his neck, you giggled quietly and kissed him back. The happiness made your tail move like crazy.
A small Omaticaya girl shook her head and kept quiet during the scene.
As your taste spilled over Neteyam's tongue, he murmured in pleasure.
With a mischievous smile, you pulled away and rubbed your noses together. "It was worth it to piss you off."
"Prove it."
"I love you, not Ao'nung," you rolled your eyes and kissed him once more.
Tuk's tone was filled with happiness as she chanted, "I feel love in the air! Y/N and Neteyam, Neteyam and Y/N! Nanana! Love is oh so in the air!"
When Neteyam returned the kiss, he felt all his angst and anger disappear quickly, having been eased by your words and feeling that they came from the depths of your heart.
After letting him kiss you for a moment, you pulled away when you needed to breathe deeply. "Is this proof enough for you, my love?"
"Yes."
"What did our little spy think of what she saw?" You asked Tuk loudly.
With a stick she found in the bushes, Tuk emerged from her hiding spot and approached the two of you. "It was pretty cute, but still eww, just like mom kissing dad. Just remember I will keep a close eye on you, Y/N, and I won't hesitate to inform Neteyam if I see you hanging out with those beefy, turquoise fellas again," she warned, getting on her brother's lap. "And now tell me: will you two eventually tie the knot?"
You rolled your eyes and ruffled her hair. "One day, maybe, when we decide we want to be together forever."
"Tuk, please," Neteyam poked Tuktirey's shoulder. "Little one, that is none of your business."
"What? I have to be ready," Tuk looked at you while shrugging her shoulders. "I believe you'd make a stunning bride! I could look after your future kids! I would play with them!"
"TUK!" Neteyam paled a little, pulling on his sister's braid. "Thatâs enough."
A smug smile appeared on your face. "I would like to have kids, so long as they aren't like their future aunt."
Neteyam laughed, shoving Tuk off his lap and returning to weaving. "Please, don't encourage her, Y/N."
Tuk initially nodded joyfully in response to your comments, but when she realised what you were saying, she crossed her arms over her chest, which, unfortunately, was the same moment she slipped from Neteyam's lap. She snarled at you while sitting on her butt in the sand. "I'll keep it in mind, Y/N, and I'll tell mom!"
Laughing, you took Neteyam's hand. "I guess we'll see about that. Right?"
As he stroked your palm, he smiled at you brightly. "Yes. The feelings I have for you are something I am looking forward to discovering and exploring."
