BAMF Rise Mikey is canon and I will prove it

Yes, it's all "he lifts a cargo ship" this, "he launches a whole building" that, and sure, it says a lot about just what he is capable of, but he does so with his usual humor and joyfulness.

What I mean here is that there are times even he stops playing around. Case in point: the season 2 finale.

When the fam gets to the Crying Titan, this is what they see:

And this is how they enter the scene:

This is a very cool moment in the show, with heroic music and witty lines, and the gang seems pumped up for the fight ahead. Raph is smiling confidently, Leo is smug, April rocks, Donnie puts up his unavailable bad boy image.

Mikey, though. We don't often see that look on his face. My boy is MURDEROUS.

Even as they strike their badass hero pose, he's uncharacteristically frowning, without a hint of a grin:

Which perhaps shouldn't be surprising at all. The Shredder is harming both his dads, after all. And we know how much they matter to him specifically.

Conclusion: don't mess with what's really important to Mikey.

You won't like that side of him.

thinking about how michael's first instinct was to fight when he witnessed a kid being mistreated by his father in public. displaying the same type of aggression he saw from his own father growing up. what makes it even sadder is when their caretaker judd asked michael afterwards, "what do you think is going to happen when the man you hit and his family go home tonight?" and instantly michael is filled with so much regret because unfortunately he knows. he's been in that kids shoes. and i can only imagine how much guilt he had over what he might have potentially caused. but at the same time, i'm sure he wished that someone would have stood up for him the same way he did for that boy. he would have loved to have known that someone out there could see what was happening and cared enough to do something about it.

I cannot explain to you in words how much I fucking adore Simon Fairchild. Anyone who doesn’t love him can fight me, because

He winked at a terrified civilian as he threw himself off of a cable car.

He called Martin ‘my boy’ on their first meeting.

He doesn’t mind the thought of dying.

He toyed with the idea of throwing Martin into the Vast as a joke.

He’s the cool grandpa despite being literally centuries old.

He pities the Fears’ entities and is sympathetic towards them.

He doesn’t care about the pointlessness of the world and just tries to have a good time.

He uses phrases such as ‘charming chap’ and ‘absolutely lovely’ and ‘I say’ and ‘goodness’ and I am in fucking love.

I’m going to have to stop here before this post becomes several encyclopaedias long because I could quite literally go on all week about his sheer amazingness.

No he's clearly not T_T take him out of there.

Fun fact: He actually smiles a lot when he's around luffy and the crew.
