Truly a unique experience unlike any other thing I have played this year. To be fair, I'm not sure if I could even say I "played" it; Even "watching" it would be a stretch. Saw it, I suppose? And though those few seconds of me seeing it were short, I enjoyed every second of it. 

Easily the best thing about it was the story, as short as it was. Such a simple tale in a mere two sentences, yet I feel attached to every character here. I can feel the pure joy of the swimmer flow through me when he tells us of his best friend, Yellow Pikman, and how much he loves swimbing. And Yellow Pikman is just as fleshed out, without even saying a single word. Their expression tells all. And the twist that isn't even told to the player directly, but instead is communicated through subtle hints, truly some of the best two-sentence horror I have ever read (though there isn't that much good competition.) That being said, a small gripe I do have is that I feel it relies too heavily on other pieces of work that could be hard for the player to realize upon first inspection, and could be missing the context needed to enjoy the full narrative. How could one even know what Yellow Pikman is without knowing first what a Pikmin is?

I can't really settle on how I feel about the presentation. The art within the image is incredible, some of (if not) the most high-definition and life-like graphics I have ever seen, and while I love Yellow Pikman's unique design and applaud the creators for translation such a cartoonish character into a 3D look, the little we see of swimmer is pretty bland to me. All of this art is presented through a little box, as if it was a cutscene, and the UI around it features so much confusing and unnecessary info that, while it isn't too big of a trouble, really didn't need to be there.

Though it may be short and have a few flaws, its simplicity makes it easy to enjoy and endlessly replayable. Ask your friends to send you a copy if they have one, as I think it’s an experience you shouldnt have any reason to miss.
