If he has to be honest, he doesn't know how to feel, not in a bad way tho!! He's so used to teasing Grim as a part of the first years friend group, but now that he's legally your child (and by extension his son), it just feels weird sometimes.

But in the end their relationship doesn't change one bit, this also means there's endless bickering whenever Ace comes by your place.

The one thing he can't get used to is though is Grim referring to you as his parent. I mean, c'mon, if you've been hearing "henchmen", "my human" for years it's bound to be quite the change.

During the legal adoption process, he's the type to be beside you searching on his cheap little laptop the meaning of so many words on the documents you're meant to sign (this is his way of helping you).

It doesn't sink in for a while that the three of you are technically a family, you occasionally joke about getting married in the (probably near) future and making Grim be the ringbearer or flowerboy.

Leo Valdez was infuriating to say the least.

You had agreed to join the quest, thinking that you and Leo could become good friends. What was there to dislike? He could be funny (at times), cared about his friends and had a nice face (something you would never admit out loud). But boy were you wrong. He held some sort of personal vendetta against you, ticking you off on purpose, making your life a literal living hell. You had no idea why he hated you so much.

"Maybe he likes you," Piper giggled, fanning her freshly painted nails. You two, along with Hazel and Annabeth were in Piper's room, having a girl's night.

"Me and Percy were like that before we got together too, y'know," Annabeth agreed, grabbing a cookie from the box that was sat beside your position on the bed.

"Oh please," you scoffed. "You guys know how much he pisses me off. It's too bad he has such a pretty face - oh shit." Realising what you'd said out loud, you immediately covered your face with your hands. "Please forget what I just said."

"Aww, someone's got a crush!" Squealed Hazel, throwing a pillow at you, "we are never letting you live this down."

You rolled your eyes at her. Just as you were about to grab the last cookie, the door flew open, along with the sweaty grime-covered bane of your existence.

"Pipes, have you seen Buford? He ran off with my tool belt. Are those cookies?" He reached an arm out towards the cookie box faster than the speed lightning, and before you could stop him, he'd taken the last cookie. Darn it. He looked around the room before his gaze fell upon you, to which he wrinkled up his face. "I wasn't aware that we let aliens in on this ship."

"Fuck off, Valdez," you grumbled. You weren't in the mood to argue with him right now. He'd taken the last damn cookie and now your evening was ruined. "Says the abominable fuck face. Buford isn't here. Go away before I punch your face in."

"Alright, alright, good night to y'all." Leo winked before saying, "except for you, Y/N, of course." You threw a pillow at the closing door.

It was currently 1 am on the Argo, and Leo had been tinkering away in his room beside you. To be honest, the occasional sounds of the metal clinking and clattering was quite relaxing. It was the loud country music blasting, making you want to crawl under your bed and stuff cotton in your ears that was truly insufferable.

You weren't about to let go of the absolutely appetizing thought of sleep escape you, so naturally, you got up and knocked loudly on Leo's door.

"Come in!" you heard over the loud music. You entered his room and looked around, disgusted. The ground was absolutely trashed and looked like the equivalent of a war zone. "Oh, it's you."

"Can you please turn this horrible music down?" you tried to yell over the obnoxious music. "I'm trying to sleep."

"No can do!" he yelled back. "It helps me concentrate. Get out of my room!"

You huffed (which Leo thought was absolutely adorable) and slammed the door closed.

Back in your own cabin, you accepted the fact that you were going to wake up looking like a sleep deprived rat. However, maybe you were hallucinating or delusional but you swear you heard the volume lower before drifting off to sleep.

"Not you again," you groaned as you saw the first locks of Leo's curly hair from the top of the ladder. "I thought I was on duty with Frank."

"We're stuck with each other I guess," Leo shrugged cheerfully, plopping down next to you. The night breeze was cooling on your face and you felt like the main character in a movie as the wind gently kissed your hair. For once, you actually didn't mind his presence. Then: "Dude, why do you hate me so much?"

"Hmm?" you hummed, unsure of where he was going with this. "What do you mean? I don't hate you."

"We can't stand each other!" Leo protested. "I'm always insulting you, and you're always insulting me back. This is probably the most civil conversation we've ever had!"

You were starting to feel defensive. Wasn't he the one that'd always started tormenting you? You'd only wanted to get back at him for everything he'd done to you. "You start all of it though! I wanted to be friends with you but you just wouldn't let me! I tried, Leo, I did but you were just so infuriating with your jabs and pretty face and pretty everything and- "

"Wait, you think I'm pretty?" Leo looked starstruck by your words. He was gazing at you with the softest look on his face. "Can I tell you something?" You nodded. "I acted like I hated you because you were too beautiful, definitely way out of my league. I'm so sorry."

You grew flustered at the sudden proximity between the two of you.

"Can I kiss you?" He breathed softly.

"Okay."

He leaned forwards and placed a hand around the back of your head, the other finding yours and intertwining your fingers together. His lips were slightly chapped against yours but you felt like you were in heaven.

Breaking apart with a small giggle, you mustered up your courage and asked, "Can we do that again?"

First let’s just say, the name calling is insane.

Like your labeled grandpa, no matter your gender.

Survivors passing you by be like, “Sup gramps, got any candy?” Or “Yo! Grandpa! Take your meds today?”

The survivors like to hear your story’s, well most, but sometimes when you can’t remember that you’ve already told them, they’ll gently (as can be) be like “We know, you’ve told this one twenty times.” And you’d be like “I did? When?!”

Your bones constantly ache and your back and knees are always sore (I relate) so running away from hunters suck, and so does having to run around the manor with others. Which is why your best friend Andrew makes sure you’re not injuring yourself. Constantly lurking behind you, in a mood. Mumbling about how he’s “Like your nurse.” But he secretly cares, well -ish.

He’ll nag you about your meds (if you take them) and reminds you before you start another tangent about the same story.

He definitely doesn’t enjoy the teasing, at least he can handle some of it. But not too much or he’ll get grumpy for the rest of the day.

All in all tho, he means well and will take care of you if you take care of him. He especially likes the little salted caramel candy’s you have. The old people kind.

He will do all of this but more lovingly. Gently reminding you to take your meds instead of being up your ass about it. He’d listen to your story’s even if you do repeat them. Sometimes they get on his nerves if he’s in a mood but overall wants to hear your voice because it soothes him.

- kids they mentor (tbf thatd probably be more appropriate for highschool but it could maybe work)

- they babysit the kids occasionally and now they just tag along sometimes

- relatives of some sort they just happen to look after, maybe siblings or cousins

- kids of professors that just chill at the college sometimes and they just jokingly 'adopted'

richarlyson: some random relative of cellbits dropped him off at the favela (the house the brazilians live in together) now the brazilians have to take care of him while cellbit tries to track down his parent

trump: maximus’s little brother, their parents are pretty distant so max ended up taking care of trump the most, along with his roommate, dan. lately tho, max has been focusing more on sofia than trump and trumps been feeling neglected. especially since dan disappeared

bobby: i was thinking that maybe his parents run the restaurant on campus that roier works at, so bobby hangs out with him. and then jaiden works at a wildlife rescue with birds, and they have after school programs for kids that bobby comes to a lot. and then i guess roier and jaiden become friends through bobby

ramon: fit works at the gym on campus, so maybe ramon does like martial arts lessons with him or something

summary: mamas can’t have a debut or a goodnights sleep cuz her parents and guardians are DEAD (not proofread btw sorry if my words sound a lil jumbled)

Soo i just realized something REALLY fucking devastating about Mayumis lore and that is she never got to have her debut when she turned 18

No one knows more about spending all of your time in your room like the Ignihyde Housewarden. Literally, he goes to class via a magical floating tablet or has his little brother go in his place. Look, Idia knows pretty much all he needs too anyways and besides, there are far too many chances for him to run into an NPC the second that he exits his room. No thank you.

Due to this, it was a little hard to actually meet him let alone getting into a full on relationship with him. With his reclusive nature and the similarities that you share in never leaving the room (I am the exact same way), it took a couple of months before you both encountered face to face, in the dead of night, not thinking that either of you would run into someone..... both of you were very much wrong.

As soon as Idia made it back to his room, Ortho 100% could tell that something happened as soon as he saw his big brother, and after hearing about his run in with you? Cue Ortho as the wingman for the both of you.

Now, once in a relationship with Idia, you get to see more of his 'outgoing' side. Namely, his outbursts towards the idiots in his online games. Idia is sarcastic, insanely so. So to finally see this side of him that almost no one has ever seen, it's both endearing and amusing.

Now, it's canon that Idia can draw, meaning that he does draw with you from time to time. Now, he has moments where he is more nervous to show you what he's made, but hearing your praise is enough to finally make him crumble and show you. If there is more praise? Now his hair has turned a vibrant shade of pink.

He absolutely loves your gothic fashion style. He has money, lots of it, and now he has someone to spend it all on. Idia is on online shops all of the time looking for the next thing he can get for you that fits your aesthetic quite well....... would you be interested in cosplaying for him? For his eyes only?

Overall, there are times where he still doesn't think he deserves you, but the more that he sees you camping out in his room, or just hanging with his little brother, he can't help but smile to himself, finally happy that he has someone just like you in his life.

Epel is only really loud when he gets really angry, but beyond that, he's pretty perfect. If you need some alone time, he'll be okay with it. Sure he'll be looking forward to hanging out, but he's not overly clingy. And you know that he loves to shit talk people if both of you dislike them.

If you need time, he won't rush you because that's not the type of person he is. But when you want to go out on a date, he's absolutely over the moon, and won't hesitate to hold your hand as often as he's able to. He's also short, but that's not going to stop him if anyone messes with you two.

imma start at the beginning. basically u guys remember my best friend? the one who i lowkey highkey had a crush on who isnt into boys? anyways yeah he texted me and asked if i wanted to hang out tomorrow (today) and we ended up making plans to go to the city centre to idk hang out and yeah there was the problem that apparently my mum wanted to do like a family day out or smthn but we couldn’t do that cause my sister hurt her foot (look ella, ily and it sucks that that happened to u but also i am so fucking glad i was able to hang out w/ him today instead of the ppl i spend 24/7 with and half annoy me to death) anyways none of that was important so we ended up meeting and getting side tracked for a second again but while i was waiting for him at the train station this random police/security guard/person came up to me and got annoyed at me for having too long shoelaces or something (?) cause he just pointed at my feet and was like “ur laces” and “someone might trip” like ??? who tf are u, my teacher? (they were tied btw just kinda long) anyways yeah that was one of the random weird things that happened today anyways yeah he arrived and oh yeah while we were both on our respective trains there he texted me that he knew a place that would probably sell us alcohol (which considering we’re both 15 and the legal drinking age here is 18 was like definitely super illegal but literally who tf cares) and so yeah we ended up going there but it was a corner shop in like pretty far from the train station so we had to take the subway which omfg it’s so LOUD how tf did i manage to take it as a kid and not have a complete meltdown but yeah we got there and i gave him some money (cause i had way more money on me and he was less scared of getting IDed) and somehow his very obviously underage ass managed to get 2 cans of this alcoholic drink (it wasnt like insanely alcoholic like to quote him one can is “enough to get u a bit tipsy” but like still) anyways yeah we went to a park near there and sat by a tree while we drank it and talked and yeah we ended up talking abt some kinda but not rlly personal but also probably kinda concerning stuff that i’m not gonna mention for the aforementioned reasons but also fanfic and yeah turns out i’m good at writing the stuff he struggles with and hes good at writing the stuff i struggle with so we’re gonna try and co-write smthn at some point •u• anyways yeah also i recently got some new jeans and own some posca pens so have been drawing on them and yeah i brought some of the pens and he drew some hearts on the calf (bcz he couldn’t think of anything else) and yeah so that happened •///• [ur gonna have to endure me cringely emoticon-ing this i’m sorry this is what u signed up for when u let me diaryify my tumblr for a minute] anyways yeah also i seriously cannot handle alcohol well that only had like a tiny alcohol content and after chugging a can i felt like i was in a dream when it came to like movement n shit and i also ended up telling him abt how i used to like one of our mutual friends and thats why i agreed to fight her at his bar mitzvah (yes she was that crush and he was that friend with the bar mitzvah) and yeah apparently i’m the second person to have told him that (the crush thing not the fighting thing but thats just me assuming) anyways yeah after we sobered up a bit n allat we went back on the subway but to somewhere else cause the shops there r cool and yeah anyways finally getting to another actually super important part but we were talking abt like sexualities (specifically in relation to our younger selves // idk i’m not rlly sure how to explain the context so)

and yeah anyways we were talking and he said that “he was ace or gay bcz men” (or smthn like that i cant remember the actual wording) but DUDE HE LIKES GUYS !! (in some way, not sure if he meant he was aroace or gay, or ace or gay but still aro, or if he doesnt did as aro anymore at all, or if it was like hes ace/aroace AND gay, and yeah idk he got confused when i asked “in what way” and i was too high on caffine to find better wording TwT) which means i do actually have some sorta a chance (even if i dont know in what way or how much of one) aksjsjdjdjsks and yeah we ended up looking around some shops n stuff — also sidenote: we had like a lot more physical touch than usual. like he doesnt rlly like physical contact unless hes super close to the person and even tho we’ve been bsfs for like 3 years and friends for like 10 ive been way too scared to see if i’m close enough to him for that but yeah anyways it wasnt like we were holding hands or anything but like he was touching my leg while drawing on my jeans and i grabbed his arm a couple times, stuff like that nd idk maybe it doesnt sound like much but to me it was like everything — and yeah then we ended up going back to the city centre for his dad to pick us up which is when 2 things happened: 1, we were crossing at some traffic lights and he said smthn like “i feel so weird doing this i’m just following everyone else” or smthn along those lines and this random guy neither of us knew was like “dont follow the crowd. be confident” like dude??? 😭 do we know u??? (it was so fucking random) anyways 2, there was this street preacher yelling abt how “there will be 2 resurrections” and to “succumb to jesus” or whatever and i legit doubled over laughing when i realised what he was saying and i think he saw me but b r o literally how can someone do that w/o getting way too embarrassed i literally would not be able to make an announcement that ppl need to get out of here bcz danger incase they thought i was annoying or whatever literally how to they have such little embarrassment anyways sorry, side tangent over. (i’m almost done) and yeah his dad came and took us home and before i got out of the car when they got to my house he said thanks for hanging out with him and that it was rlly fun and I KNOW thats not much but idk just like the way he said it or the fact that he said that to me after that just <3333 and yeah idk sorry this was just like idek how many words of me gushing abt my crush and going on 30 side tangents but fuck you this is what u signed up for when u clicked “read more” so
