It was a long journey to Monaco.

My mother wanted me to stay at home and I really didn't want to, so I just arrived at the hotel I was going to stay at.

"What do you mean there's a problem with my accommodation?"

"I'm sorry Miss Y/l/n but your reservation was canceled two days ago."

"I didn't fucking cancel it."

"I did." I turned and saw my mother standing there. "Come on, Y/n."

"I'm sorry." said the receptionist who agreed and I followed my mother outside. "What's wrong with you? I said I didn't want to stay at your house."

"And I said I don't care what you want or don't want."

"So you called the hotel impersonating me and canceled my reservation? How did you know I'd be staying at this hotel?"

"It was obvious that you'd be staying in the hotel closest to us." I rolled my eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me, young lady."

"Then stop acting like you're the boss of me."

"But I am."

"No, you're not, the moment I moved out of your house and started supporting myself you lost that right and in case you can't count it's been years."

"Get in the car."

"I'm not going home, I told you."

"And I've told you that none of the other hotels will accept you there, so you either stay at home or sleep on the street. Now get in the car."

"I came by car so I don't need your ride."

I got into the car and slammed the door, driving off as fast as I could.

This was another reason why I hated coming here.

My mother.

Ever since Charles and I split up, she turned into this completely cold person, said I'd ruined everything and that I should have said no to the promotion and stayed here.

But her vision of a woman with the perfect life was to be married to a guy who worked to support his wife and kids.

That's what her mother, my grandmother, taught her, and that's why she's always been like that, so she thought I'd fall for it too.

I got home and after parking I saw my father coming out of the house and he smiled when he saw me.

"Hi my love, I've missed you so much."

"I missed you too, Dad." I hugged him tightly and he kissed my forehead.

"Where's your mom?"

"She’s probably coming, I drove here."

"She said she'd pick you up."

"She did, but I drove from Milan so...”

"You had a fight, didn't you?" I agreed. "Love, you have to make things right with her."

"No, she's the one who has to apologize to me." I looked at him. "Since when is a mother disappointed by her daughter's success?"

"She wasn't disappointed in you."

"Yes, she was and you know it, her dream was for me to marry him, get pregnant and live the life of a madam who doesn't do anything the way she does."

"Darling, your mother was raised like that.”

"So was I, but I took different paths, so it's her fault. We decided our own future and she decided hers and I decided mine." he agrees quietly. "Can you believe she canceled my hotel reservation and even called others so they wouldn't accept me just so I'd stay here?"

"Did you do this Jessica?" He asks and I turn around to see my mother standing there.

"You're barely home and you're already causing friction between me and your father, aren't you?"

"There wouldn't be any friction if you didn't do shit like that."

"Look at the way you talk to me in my house," she says angrily.

"I didn't even want to be here, you brought me here so take the consequences."

I picked up my suitcases and took them to my old room. It was completely different, but since I'd taken most of the things that made up my room, it ended up becoming a guest room.

"Y/n." Knocks on the door and enters. "We are having dinner later at the Leclerc's, okay?"

"I don't think I'm going."

"Why not?"

"Kind of obvious, isn't it?" I say and he laughs.

That's what I liked most about my father, he understood my jokes and ironies and was always in a good mood.

"Well, it's up to you, but Arthur asked me to tell you that if you didn't show up he’d come and pick you up."

"Then he'll have to come." My father laughs and leaves.

Like Cassie actually acts like a human being?? And like her knowledge of the original characters and cute little comments on every item are so endearing there is so much detail going into this.

The fact that they expanded on one of the fan faves Roxanne and giving her a great arc I’m in love I’m so happy

They honestly gave more depth to all the animatronics too like we finally see Bonnie’s design and get and get a taste as to what happened, also that poster Freddy gifted him I’m crying they are so cute and gay I love them

Why replace Bonnie with Monty?? Why not make a new Bonnie model?? With the prototype label on Freddy it may be confirmed that they make multiple models (well we already kinda knew that with Freddies comments but oh well)

Also Freddy?? Like is that our Freddy or a different one?? They very clearly highlighted the prototype label so they want to emphasize it, but then the head is still missing like in the princess quest ending so what is the truth??

I was really not expecting eclipse to be the way they were, very… normal? Is that the right word?? Like obviously a little delusional on when the daycare is gonna open again, but in the right mindset of like this child needs to leave this place is not safe. It is interesting to me that both he and Roxy thought that it was Cassie’s birthday, maybe that was the last day before she left the plex? Or maybe that was the day the plex caught fire? Or maybe most depressingly we are playing on Cassie’s birthday so the animatronics have it in their systems what her birthday is and wish her a happy one (if they are in the right state of mind lol)

I think you can still say it was mainly the virus but I would argue even if it’s not the virus I feel like moon is kinda justified here. Like sun has been shutting him away for a long time before this (if the books are to be believed but also in general) so when he finally gets a chance to roam free of course he’s gonna take it. And idk about u but if my alternate personality was constantly trying to shut me out and I finally got control, I probably too would try and keep my control for as long as possible. Also from what I have seen so far, not even moon is all that aggressive? Like he grabs you at the beginning, but I think that’s just his very ineffective way to get kids to sleep and other than that he just kinda stays away

Poor sunny baby is stuck in the ar world 🥺🥺 I didn’t notice at first but yeah everytime you talk to him it’s only in the ar world. And the end part where you switch them out for eclipse if you do that in the ar world, he says not for me it’s for moon.

I will say though I noticed the voice acting for them changed a little this game, like both have a higher pitch and are more goofy sounding? Like more gremlin energy than evil villainy. I wonder if that was on purpose? Both of them sounded more like the other so maybe that was the reason? Interest interest

Also their mouth moves?? Sort of?? That’s so silly to me they have a whole working mouth system and their face mask doesn’t work with at all 😭

Does give me lore intrigue tho cause like why do their mouths move but not anymore?? Did something happen?? Are they just not maintained enough?? They also move outward instead of up and down (at least from what I saw) so is the mechanism different?

Also the way that sun and moon talk about eachother is so interesting. Like moon says the light hurts “us” and sun says “no the other me” like they seem to almost consider eachother more connected than we first thought, like they’re not just coworkers or strangers they are almost like two sides of the same person. It’s very interesting and I wonder where people will take this.

Overall great job I’m so excited to comb through the game and find every little secret (especially regarding the dca) aaaa

Ok ok update moon does have a jump scare but it’s ridiculously hard to get and I’d still argue he’s not as vicious as he was base game. I mention in another post but eclipse being as kind as he is and being (presumably) a combination of both AIs, gives even more evidence moon is supposed to be kind and caring like his posters suggest but something went wrong. Also Cassie’s comments on their plushes show that there were kids who truly liked the daycare.

So Much Hides Behind My Smile

“Knock, knock? Mi flor? Are you in there?” Someone asks, opening the door.

Isabela is sat at her vanity, carefully taking out the flowers she’d woven into her hair that morning. From the mirror’s reflection, she can see Milagro stood in the doorway, her family going about minding their own business just behind.

It had been a busy day, of course. Her perfect, albeit long awaited, wedding.

“Of course, mi vida. Did you need something?”

���I just came to see you,” he answered, shutting the door behind him. He laughed, walking over to her, just about to set a hand on her shoulder. “Well, it’s been a long day but we’ve finally made it to the wedding night—”

“Get the fuck out of my room.” Isabela snarls.

Milagro blanks for a minute. “Um… where else am I meant to sleep?”

“I don’t care. It’s not my problem.” She seethes, turning back to the mirror.

“In case the rest of the day didn’t clue you in, mi flor, we are unfortunately husband and wife now. It very much is your problem. And from what I understand, the sooner you have a baby, the happier your Abuela will be. Which you’ll have a hard time achieving if you don’t want me here.”

“If you so much as touch my shoulder, I will rip your penis off and feed it to my carnivorous plants.”

Neither says anything more.

But it takes exactly two seconds for them to act.

Milagro goes to charge his entire body into hers but is yanked onto the floor by throned vines, as Isabela throws herself straight onto him.

“How dare you treat me like this!?”

“How dare you!? This is my room and don’t you forget it!”

“Just because you’re a Madrigal doesn’t mean you can get away with everything, princesa!”

They scratch and hiss and hit like wild jaguars, fighting over the last scrap of meat.

It just keeps going.

Not only does he deserve it and worse, she can let out all the steam that’s been building inside her.

“A perfect match,” Alma hummed, as Bruno poured them all another round of wine. “Isabela deserves the best and that is what she has. They will both bring so much good to the Encanto.”

“I can’t believe it. Where has the time gone?” Bruno added.

Pepa nodded, still drying her hair. “It feels like just yesterday Isabela was born and now she’s married and going to have babies of her own.”

“That will be our Lolita soon,” Félix smiled.

“I’m too young to have grandchildren! We’re too young to have grandchildren! No offence, Mama.”

Alma was in too good a mood to even remotely care.

“Is it really Dolores’ wedding next?” Bruno asked, teasing. “Because I had a little peek into the future and I saw—”

“NO! DON’T YOU DARE RUIN IT! I DON’T WANT TO KNOW!” Pepa shrieked.

Bruno held his hands up in surrender as his sister began a play fight with him, Félix laughed riotously.

“Hey, I was only kidding!”

“Well, I don’t believe you!”

Alma chuckled too, before getting up. “I am going to check on Julieta and Agustín.”

“You do that,” Félix said. “I’ll keep an eye on these two.”

The rest of the grandkids, all of whom were drunk, were out in the courtyard, hyper as anything.

Camilo, Antonio and a variety of animals were dancing while Dolores played some lively tune on her bandola; Luisa singing a completely different song over the top.

Honestly, you wouldn’t know they were adults.

On any other day, she would probably have scolded them and sent them to bed. For now though, she is happy enough to just leave them. They aren’t hurting anyone or causing any trouble, to be fair.

Agustín and Julieta were sat quietly in another room, without the wine. Julieta has been in an odd state for the past few years with seemingly new cure, and Agustín has always preferred to keep some distance from his mother-in-law when he can help it.

But they should be together right now. This is Isabela’s day and they have all been her biggest supporters.

“They certainly make the happy couple,” Alma said, taking a seat beside them.

“Indeed.” Agustín agrees. “I had my doubts about this match, but I’m glad that I’ve been proved wrong.”

“So long as my girls are happy, then I’m happy.” Julieta declares.

“Well, mija, I can attest that Luisa is definitely happy.” She paused, trying to get the pair to hear the carryon happening outside. “And trying to make herself a soprano, apparently.”

After some wonky, forced long note from Luisa, they broke into laughter.

“It’s nice to see the kids are still enjoying life and spending time together,” Agustín remarked, smiling fondly.

Julieta’s smile drops.

“Not all of them.”

Long after Milagro is gone and her temper has cooled, Isabela heads downstairs.

It’s late now.

The rest of the family is in bed. Or at least in their rooms.

She doesn’t know where Milagro went after she kicked him out, probably the guest bedroom, but she doesn’t care enough to check. He can sleep outside for all she cares.

She heard some footsteps on the way to the kitchen, but brushed them off.

One of Antonio’s animals, no doubt.

In the kitchen, she makes her way over to the coffee pot. It’s half full, just needs to be reheated - no doubt Luisa has beaten her to their usual midnight drinks.

Casita takes over, sliding her signature cup along to her.

“What do you think of all this, Casita?”

A few tiles clink.

“Mirabel? I’d be lectured for at least two hours about failed marriages in history or something if she was still alive.” Isabela glanced to the side. “Can’t imagine how she’d take this… knowing I just went back.”

More clinking.

“Well, what was I meant to do? I couldn’t say no.”

A cupboard smacks her shoulder, lightly.

She chuckled. Taking off the wedding ring.

“Haha, good point. You know, I always thought getting out of the Guzmán engagement would make me happy, and now I’m about two seconds away from committing murder.”

The beams squeak supportively.

“It’s nice to know someone’s got my back.”

The coffee pot, ready, is tilted over Isabela’s cup, filling it to the brim.

“Maybe I’ll let it happen. Let the family see he’s awful and then I’ll be free.”

It smells as good as usual, there’s an underlying hint of something that isn’t coffee though. She shrugs, and drinks it anyways.

Luisa’s been drunk since the ceremony ended, who knows what she’s put in here since. It’s probably alcohol - that she’s added in some spark of creativity. And Isabela isn’t too against the idea of alcohol in her coffee at all - it’s an idea she’ll try later, when she isn’t about to go to bed.

It doesn’t taste any different though.

She lets Casita dispose of the ring.

She returns to her room steadily, not paying much attention to the beautiful decorations that have been hanging since this morning.

It’s one of the odd times where she wasn’t the one to decorate Casita in her flora - it was her day. Abuela had made it very clear that she didn’t want Isabela to lift a finger.

She never really got a chance to admire them this morning either. She’s spent most of the day outside of Casita and when they have been home, she was in her room, getting ready with Dolores, her maid of honour.

Ah well.

They will still be there tomorrow.

All that matters now is that she’s alone, out of that hideous wedding dress and can sleep off her frustration with a drink.

She doesn’t bother switching on the light, just clambers into bed and setting the cup on her bedside table.

The café con leche is as inviting as always.

patrick hockstetter analysis hi, i realize there was spelling mistakes on my henry bowers one but i'm really too lazy to go over it all and fix em so if theres some on here too then ignore it! don't come at me for the hypothetical disorders i'm saying patrick may have, i do believe he probably is on the spectrum somehow and i will not listen to anyone who says otherwise.

patrick is SO INTERESTING, the disorders that i suspect he has is possibly CIPA as he doesnt show much reaction to pain and possibly some sort of BPD or autism but im more sure of CIPA. but it's confirmed for him to have solipsism he doesnt think other people or things are real, the reason he killed his little brother avery is because he felt avery was real and his parents were taking attention away from him. he doesnt like deviating from his schedule, he expects dinner to be at the same time, parents to be in bed at a certain time every day but the baby took away from that and so he suffocated avery to death. i believe he also has a sort of god complex as he thinks he decides what happens in the world. he doesnt think him harming people and animals matters because they aren't real anyways and meerly toys for him so he doesnt get bored. we don't get a lot of background on patrick let alone his parents but the movie gives us jack-shit about him. he's obviously a pyromaniac and doesnt seem to have any reaction to pain, laughing when henry hurts him after patrick sexually assaults him. he has a sort of psychosis, he doesn't love anyone besides himself but its not in a narcissistic way. he doesnt really have attachments to anyone, his family could die and he'd just be worried about whats for dinner. he'd only be upset cause it ruins his schedule. He would be upset if bowers gang died but simply because they bring him entertainment and its someone to bully kids with. I feel he probably was subjected to some sort of trauma when he was younger, possibly sexual or some form of neglect. people arent usually born acting how patrick does and all the adults shown in derry seem to be abusive or neglectful. his favorite past time is to torture kids and animals, he enjoys taking their lives, he has a fridge full of tortured animal corpses, mainly cats. since the fridge is his favorite thing it gets used as a factor of his demise, after sexually assaulting henry he goes to his fridge and is killed by pennywise. he loves to spend time at the barrens/junkyard since thats where a lot of the violence happens, those places being frequent bowers gang hang out spots. Bowers gang is scared of him, most adults are too. theres rumors floating around of patricks hobbies so people often let him do whatever he wants as to not agitate him. I dont know if victor and belch exactly know about the fridge as its a little hidden away in the junkyard but henry knows, when patrick teases henry for "letting him" sexually assault him henry shouts "if you fucking tell anyone about this im telling everyone about your fridge and you'll be taken away" or something similar. Henry keeps him around since 1, hes deeply scared of patrick and doesnt want to anger him 2, he also finds ways to entertain henry, helping him blow off steam from the abuse at home on other kids and sometimes animals. henry seems to be a big fan of animals but when he starts to go crazy after patrick dies he shows similarities to patricks behavior, growing violent with dogs and cats and being more murder-driven with his bullying. patrick seems kind of obsessed with henry but it could just be finding henry useful or a good source of entertainment and he can torture henry to end up getting what he wants. patrick is only fueled by his own selfish desires, he has no exact motivation for doing anything, other than him deciding he wants to. psychosis can be drawn out by not sleeping sometimes and maybe patrick could suffer from hallucinations, in the movie it seems he's scared of what he's killed coming back to life but honestly i dont think thats really accurate as i dont think that is something he would think about and he already feels no guilt about it so i think it was just the movie being stupid again. so if he does have hallucinations i think he would be indifferent to them, maybe only being annoyed they arent always at the same time every day.

OKAY SO YEAH THOUGHTS??? THOUGHTS???

I'm actually so fucking insane about them and have BEEN insane about them for MONTHS. @dragoncxv360 has been my partner in crime, we've been working on our first Moon/Ruin fic for the past month or so. I wanna make character cards/designs for it before we release it. And it's gonna be so fucking good grrrr. We have a second one planned too, but that one is going to be Moon/Ruin/Solar, so not quite the same.

ANYWAYS headcanons under the readmore

God I could rot about them forever. Ellery helped me drag some of our headcanons back up so I could answer this.

Ruin is super touchy feely and Moon initially is not and finds touch from most people uncomfortable (Sun and Lunar being exceptions) but he eventually finds that touch can be really comforting, so he'll spend the day curled up around Ruin, purring while he dozes.

Moon isn't a big fan of food but he enjoys baking for Ruin, because his rays always do a cute lil spin when he eats something he likes and Moon adores it

They also totally dance alone in the kitchen at 3 am when neither of them can sleep

Ruin sings a lot, has a really good voice for like broadway and stuff, which Moon enjoys a lot. But Ruin is always so ecstatic whenever he catches Moon singing to himself, he has such a soft voice for lullabies and getting children to sleep. But he's super shy and will only sing for the kids, he stops if any adults are around

However, Moon will hum lullabies for Ruin when he's having a migraine. (Ruin gets migraines from his sun and moon splitting every now and then. They're still a part of him and sometimes they try to peek out for one reason or another, although they're mostly dormant. It gives him really bad migraines.)

Moon likes to mess with Ruin's rays. It's kind of a stim for him that he'll do without thinking about it. Ruin doesn't mind

Ruin still uses his old battery pack even though he's in an upgraded body, so sometimes his battery will stutter out or get drained really easily, causing him to faint. The first time this happened Moon panicked and thought he just died on the spot and had the computer run diagnostics. Because Ruin had to be plugged in for the diagnostics tho he woke up (which also startled Moon)

I've always liked to headcanon Moon with lowgrade depressive schizoaffective disorder, which is a psychotic disorder, since he's admitted to experiencing long term psychosis, but he's clearly self aware about it and the symptoms are so severe that they keep him from functioning. After him and Ruin became friends, Ruin started helping him manage it so he wasn't alone with it. Even though Ruin doesn't have experience with the disorder, it reminds him of how his friends would act and how he would help them when the virus in his dimension started taking root.

Both Ruin and Moon struggle with making connections to others (especially Ruin who has ASPD), and they're both under the aro/ace umbrella, so even in aus where they are dating, they see each other more like close friends (with potential benefits) rather than lovers. Although they may use the term to distinguish their relationship from other relationships in their lives, even if they don't necessarily feel/have limited romantic attraction for each other.

Ruin deals with phantom pain (partially from his rusted battery which scrambles his internal sensors a bit bc it's not supposed to be there, but mostly psychological), and Moon helps him with it. Moon made him a cane for really bad days when Ruin's processors just won't do what they need to and he has trouble with balance and orientation.

When Moon was rebuilt Monty accidentally fucked up his optics, and so he had to wear glasses for a long time until he was able to get them fixed. After he got them fixed he just popped out the lenses and kept wearing them (partially because Ruin commented that they made him look more like *his* Moon, rather than Nexus or any other Moon out there. - "his" being possessive and not literally Ruin's moon that is part of him)

Ruin is constantly stealing Moon's clothes. They're way too big on him, but he will literally wear Moon's turtlenecks like a sweater dress. He doesn't give a fuck.

Ruin is still really into playing games of his own invention, even if he isn't having to pretend to be insane anymore. It was how he kept himself entertained in his own dimension, and so occasionally Moon finds himself going on a wild goose chase just to appease Ruin's sudden whimsy.

I've begun an evil Honor mode playthrough with my Old Man Gaming Squad. And it's slightly less chaos this time around but by FAR more of a disaster. I'm playing Bazahl the Duergar Rogue this go around. We've been trying to do an evil game where we don't kill everyone, but instead do the actual evil plot line. (Hint: It's not going well.)

The beginning of Baz's real bad night. Night events keep triggering on me for some reason this session. This session I started with the Lae'zel "Oh we're transforming, I better slit your throat." I am not the face of this playthrough (or the last one), so I failed all the checks to convince her not to hurt me.

Someone asked "What happens if you just give in?" We do science in this house so of course I tried. Well, kids the news is: She kills you. Then after she kills you, she goes hostile and fights the rest of your camp. And for some reason Gale goes hostile too. (Boy's confused but he's got the spirit.) So because of the issue with killing Gale causing an end game state after three days, we're scrambling to fix it. Lae'zel we can handle being gone. She killed me and me is important we have no other rogue. We try bonking Gale. But bonking is bugged. We force restart the game, no good. We scramble around and eventually have to just kill Gale, we can't end combat we're in camp and we have no potions. His projection spawns and we go through all of that. Gale gets rezzed and we're Gucci. Sometimes a Wizard just needs his reset button pressed. In the mess of trying to get the other players back into the game I end up having to play through everyone's Dream Visitor Night 1 so they can get in. So I get to see everyone's Dream Visitors.

My dream visitor is real damn fine for someone I just hit random on a bunch of times. (✿◡‿◡)

The old men, however, were boring in their picks. Lae'zel is gone in the morning (we bonked her out, so she might be alive) and I'm alive again. We're good. We can go to the Grove, evil campaign back on schedule. WRONG We invade the Grove and everything goes fine. However, for some reason Minthara 'My Queen and Light of My Life' Baenre's sexual advances dialogue keeps triggering on my character despite never having spoken to her. Against my better wishes I turn her down. My Queen went immediately hostile at the party and now every Goblin is hostile. Its Honor Mode so we can't reload.

Moments before disaster.

Afterwards I'm getting yelled at going, "Why didn't you just sleep with her?!" Me: "Have you seen her scene?! " Old Man: "No!"

Me: "It's pretty explicit! It would be like watching porn with my uncles." Old Man: "Oh fair, I guess. But I would have done it."

Me: "I know you would've....that's so weird. Why did it trigger on me?"

Sleep well my bonked out Queen. I hope I see you at Moonrise. But I doubt it. Now every single Goblin back at the Goblin camp is aggressive. We've ruined our chances of having a nice and normal Evil Campaign. We're going full murder hobo. No one will survive. Zarys and the Underdark vendors are the only vendors we have left in Act 1. Everyone else is dead but we need to get to them still.

Buckle Up, Bitches. This is a long one.

Okay, I've definitely had some gripes with episode 2 and the fact that it took me this long to rewatch the episode to collect my thoughts says something. I even stopped the episode halfway through and got distracted with something else for about 3 hours before remembering what I was doing and resuming it.

I didn't like this episode. Unfortunately the bad outweighed the good for me.

First up, Lola, Norman, and Julien.

Why the FUCK did they do a storyline where Lola cheats on Norman?? Their whole introductions/characters in season 2 were about how Norman didn't see her after they had a kid so she went out of her way to force him to look at her by flashing the freeway. Go off Queen.

She gets arrested but she and Norman are super happy and making out, and they even admitted that the situation saved their marriage when Josh and Sue gathered people Maddie helped to convince her not to quit. The cheating storyline is so out of character for Lola that when I saw episode 1 and she was acting weird around Julien, I thought she knew he was a bad guy but he had threatened her off screen or something and she didn't want to worry Norman, not that they were seeing each other???

I thought Julien had just mistaken them for smugglers since they were living on the cruise ship, Lola found out and confronted him, and he threatened her to keep quiet about the operation but didn't get to call off the guys he was working with in time so Lola and Norman ended up getting jumped.

When Norman found out Lola was cheating on him after getting shot and was groaning in pain, all he could do was go into denial and talk about how Lola cheating couldn't be true. Then when he was lying on the poker table talking about the life he and Lola had, 37 years, selling all their stuff with handmade price tags, it made me feel both genuinely sad and angry. Not angry at Lola, angry at the writers for making this storyline for them. If people who have never seen the show go back to watch all the seasons and get to Lola and Norman's episode, they're gonna have it in their mind that their love is a lie and apparently Norman doesn't love Lola enough to keep her satisfied which is why she's cheats on him later. They're gonna see it as Lola being a horrible person this whole time, someone who likes to sleep around, or even just chalk it up to "Women ☕" and that pisses me off! That's not their characters and the fact the writers were portraying them in that light is horrible.

Then we have the whole Hen storyline, and oh boy do I have words about that.

Episode 1 did an amazing job reintroducing the characters to new people (except for Athena, I don't care about Marisol). In fact, if not for the Athena thing, I'll make a post about that later, it would've been a solid 10/10 (9/10 cause Karen wasn't in it lol).

Hen was shown to be a great captain when under intense pressure, going with her gut about which wire the pilot said to cut and even double checking, being a teasing but helpful friend to Chim about the forever dating thing, being kind and knowledgeable with the woman in the hot tub incident and teasing Chim again, and being an ear Athena could rant to when she thought Norman killed Lola. She was absolutely amazing...

Episode 2 ruined all of that.

She's at the car accident and is caring and attentive to the daughter and her mom, but then she's suddenly in a bad mood and making assumptions when it comes to the guy who blew through the light. She sends Chim over to him and when the dude is acting rude, telling them off, and threatening their jobs, she does the right thing and asks if he's refusing care. He says yes, he doesn't consent, so she doesn't give him care. Even in a bad mood she's still doing her job properly. Chim's been a firefighter/paramedic longer than her and should know that if someone refuses care, you can't force the care onto them, so he had no reason to try to make her change her mind about that.

Putting that aside, her words to Chimney really made me upset,

"No, he's done. Why is it that drunks always come out of these things without a scratch?"

Why the fuck did the writers make her say that? What did the dude being drunk have anything to do with it? Also Aisha's delivery is great but the line is terrible. Why put so much emphasis on the guy being drunk?? Hen doesn't act like this. She gets pissed off sometimes, yes, but in season 1 when Bobby had a relapse and she and Buck found him in his apartment, she was empathetic and sensitive to his struggles and has been ever since. You can't tell me if Bobby was the captain on that scene, she would've said it anyway because she wouldn't have. So I'm just supposed to believe that when he's not there, that's how she acts??

I think the thing that really made me upset was the fact they kept going back to the guy being drunk. He could've been completely sober but texting on his phone while speeding, he could've had a muscle spasm that made him hit the accelerator, he also could've just been a dick and decided to run the light for the hell of it. The part about him being drunk or not shouldn't have gotten so much attention, because either way HE STILL REFUSED CARE!!!

They could've still had the whole Hen's intern captain position being paused because it's a councilwoman's son and rich people use money to sue and try to make things go away to keep themselves in a good light with their public image. Like the chief said, all the signs of impairment could've been indications of the brain bleed the dude had, but again, THE GUY REFUSED CARE!!!! Hen says this but still gets put on pause cause rich people.

Buck saying they can't fire her for one bad call is true, but it also wasn't a bad call??? Toxic reports or not, if the guy refused care then he refused care!!! It's not her problem!!! It would've been worse if he refused care, she gave it to him anyway, saved his life, but now she's getting sued for bullshit reasons and can't be a firefighter/paramedic anymore because she went against protocol.

And they're talking so much about how the guy was definitely drunk. So drunk that obviously everyone could smell it off him. WHY DOES THIS MATTER????

DRUNK OR NOT THE GUY REFUSED CARE!!!!!

You might be wondering why I'm repeating myself but I was wondering the same thing watching the episode. Why are they repeating the fact that the guy was drunk??? And then Hen thinks all of them betrayed her because they don't know for a fact if the dude was drunk or not.

Hen's ranting to Karen (omg Karen hi!!! 🥰🥰🥰 I'm so sorry this is your only scene 😭😭😭) saying,

"I just feel like if I was any other captain, I would not have been benched."

Shut the fuck up, yes you would have. It doesn't matter who the captain is, what mattered was who the victim was. I'm sure there's been times where someone refused care and ended up dying because of it. It's like that woman's dying mother with cancer who took a bunch of pills but had a DNR so when Hen and Chim showed up they legally weren't allowed to do anything. Even though the daughter was freaking out and telling them to do something, they stayed professional and said they couldn't. Neither of them got benched for letting that woman die. Hen's getting benched because the dude's mom was a councilwoman, not for any other reason.

Hen's upset cause she thinks Buck, Eddie, and Chim were trying to comfort her because "they assumed she screwed up", then she starts second guessing herself on whether or not she did screw up and goes on about how she thought the guy was an "entitled rich brat" anD OH MY GOD WHY WERE THEY ON THIS FOR SO LONG!!!!!

Entitled or humble, rich or poor, brat or dom, drunk or sober, IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!!

THE GUY REFUSED CARE!!! STOP HANGING ON THE MATTER OF IF HE WAS DRUNK OR NOT!!!!

And then the reports come back and it turns out he actually was drunk plus had drugs in his system. Whoopty fucking doo. That didn't matter nor did it excuse the fact they carried that stupid plot for no reason across the entire episode.

The guy. Refused. Care. That should've been the end of it.

*sigh*... I have a headache.

Sorry guys, I love 911 but this episode was a flop for me. 3/10. If not for the cool action scenes and beautiful transitions, it would be much lower. Hopefully things are better in episode 3.

The Lola cheating on Norman with Julien storyline fucking sucked, and everyone and their mother focusing on if the guy who caused the car accident might've been drunk or not storyline fucking sucked too. He refused care so it shouldn't have mattered if he was drunk or not.

Thirteen Colonies was walking down from his room, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He hadn't put his hair up yet, and it fell loose around his face, and he kept having to push it out of his way.

Dodging around British East Florida, formerly known as Spanish Florida, the newest personification his father decided to have a kid with, Thirteen Colonies made his way to the dining room, where there was usually food allowed for the colonies, provided no one had done anything wrong in the past few days.

‘There will be food. Quebec has been excellent in the past couple of months, and you’d think he was always Britain’s son.’

‘Doesn’t that have something to do with Britain taking him into that room alone after he joined us?’

‘I think it has something to do with Britain getting rid of all the Frenchmen there and letting Scotland’s people move that.’

‘Or that fact that Quebec started calling him dad really quickly.’

‘Whatever it is, Britain’s happy about Quebec, and nothing we could do will ruin that mood.’

"Good morning, Father," Thirteen Colonies said as he entered the dining room, causing the debating thoughts to stop. His father wasn’t eating anything but looking over a document. Dominica shot him nervous glances as she tried to eat her breakfast. Britain looked up when he heard Thirteen’s greeting.

"Good morning, Thirteen. Put your hair up so it doesn't get in the way. I let you have it long, so the least you can do is wear it properly and not make a fool of me. I have things to do today, but you'll be with England today, who will be helping you continue learning how to ride a horse properly. A basic skill you really should be better at by now." Father said with a judging tone as he said the last statement.

‘I think we ride horses very well.’

‘Aside from that one time.’

‘It wasn’t that bad though. You know how Britain is.’

Thirteen’s cheeks burned with embarrassment as he quickly sat down, combing his hands through his hair.

"Yes, Father.” He muttered.

"Now, something else you should know. Parliament is creating a new act to help protect the people who live in the Thirteen Colonies from savages and other dangers," Father said. While Thirteen was excited that his people would be given protection and grateful for his father's ensuring it, it was more proof that his father didn’t think he could care for himself. 

‘I’m sure it’s not for that reason.’

‘Or it’s for that exact reason.’

‘Has he ever trusted us to take care of ourselves? It’s probably another law that shows how damn cont–overprotective he is.’

Thirteen pushed those thoughts away. Father probably wasn't doing this because he didn't think Thirteen could care for himself. They just left a war; Father's trying to make things safe. Father ensures the empire is safe, including the Thirteen Colonies. 

Regardless of how Thirteen felt about it, he knew the answer he should give.

“That sounds great, Father. I’m sure my people will love it.” He replied with a smile. Father smiled and walked out of the room, giving Quebec a cheery hello and shoulder pat as he walked it. Quebec gave a soft smile at that before walking over to Thirteen.

“Hello, Colonies,” Quebec said, sitting down.

“Good morning, Quebec.” Thirteen said, staring at the few pieces of sausage before deciding he didn’t feel like eating, and just started running his hands through his hair, trying to fix whatever problem his father had found. “Do you know where Uncle England is? Father says I need to spend the day with him.”

“I think he’s still asleep? I’m not sure.” Quebec said, “I…”

Quebec trailed off and shook his head. Dominica muttered something under her breath in French, and Quebec shot her a wide-eyed look.

 “Dominica, are you trying to get in trouble?” He asked. Dominica looked up at him, some kind of angry sadness in her eyes, and Thirteen, sensing trouble, quickly shot up from the table.

“I have to go find Uncle England now.” Thirteen blurted before rushing out. No way was he getting caught up in that mess. 

"Hello, Thirteen." Thirteen heard Uncle England say as soon as he exited the room.

“Uncle England!” Thirteen said cheerily.

“You seem eager to leave. Is something going on that I need to know about?” Uncle England asked. Thirteen shot a nervous look towards the door before he nodded.

‘Don’t tell him.’

‘We have to! You know what will–’

“I think Dominica said something rude about you in French, or she said something in French. Quebec started lecturing her on it when I left, though.” Thirteen said. Uncle England smiled.

“Quebec did that? Britain was right.” The faux-nation said, “How odd. Well, I won’t do anything about that now. Disciplining colonies is something your father is better at. Besides, this is a good chance to test whether or not Quebec is acting. Thank you, Thirteen.”

Thirteen beamed at the expression of gratitude. He received it so rarely from his uncle, and he craved it.

“However, this will not get you out of today’s lesson. Now come along.” Uncle England said. Thirteen’s smile dropped some, but he nodded and followed England outside.

After another humiliating lesson from England, Thirteen Colonies found himself in Britain’s library, full of books and treasures Britain had discovered in his various colonies. Typically, Thirteen came here to read a book and hide away from everyone when things became too much. 

But he wasn’t here to hide away this time. Instead, he was here to do the same thing he had done for the past few months: teach British East Florida English.

Languages were the one thing Thirteen felt he was good at. He always seemed to understand the vast majority of languages he encountered. Thirteen and his father had never been able to figure out why, but nonetheless, his father used it to his full potential and had Thirteen teach any new colonies English. 

Thirteen liked it. He felt valuable and talented, and his father always looked so proud when the new colonies began dropping their old tongues for a proper language. His skill had even gotten his father to tell Thirteen he was proud of him! 

“Remember, Flori, you don't need to add the ‘the’ in front of words in sentences.” Thirteen reminded his student. British East Florida tensed at that before relaxing some.

“Yo sé, pero…I don’t…” British East Florida waved his hand, a non-verbal sign Thirteen had come to understand as British East Florida conveying that he had things he wanted to express but didn’t know how–either in English or in Spanish.

“You’re fine. Take your time.” Thirteen said gently. British East Florida nodded before he began flapping his hands around, something that had always helped him think.

"Good afternoon, Thirteen, East Florida," Thirteen suddenly heard from behind him. Thirteen quickly poked British East Florida twice, a code they had developed that meant British East Florida needed to act normal before he got in trouble. British East Florida quickly stilled and returned his gaze to the book.

"Good afternoon, Father. What did you do in Parliament today?" Thirteen asked him, curious about the new act his father had told him about and hoping to keep his father’s mind off of British East Florida. Father smiled.

‘Probably politics.’

"We officially organized Quebec, British East and West Florida, and Grenada. We decreed that all settlers are banned from settling past the Appalachian Mountains, in the land we acquired from the French." Father said, nodding to British East Florida when he said the shy colony’s name.

‘Banning settlers? But what about the ones that already live out there?’

‘I’m sure we just don’t understand the full contents. Perhaps it’ll make more sense if we hear the entire bill.’

“Thank you, Great Britain, for organizing me.” British East Florida said, his accent still strong but his English confident, which seemed to make Thirteen’s father happy.

But Thirteen wasn’t focused on that news. Thirteen was focused on the news about the mountains. Was this the new act to protect Thirteen’s people that his father had talked about? How was this supposed to protect them?

"Is this the act you were talking about to protect my people? If so, I'm afraid I don't understand how it will protect them. What about the colonists who need materials or need to go past the mountains for their jobs? What about the colonists who already live there?" Thirteen questioned, careful to keep his tone neutral and ensure he did not anger his father.

"This act should help decrease violence from the Indians and the French that live in the area so that I can avoid another costly war. This will also encourage people to move north and south into Quebec and both Florida's lands. They need your people to help strengthen them. You don’t want them to be weak and sick, right?" Father asked.

‘But what about the people that live there?’

‘Or the land that is already settled past this line?’

‘And Quebec and British East Florida aren't even sick!’

"What about people who have moved past the line, though? I also know people who have claimed land past the mountains, probably passed your line. What about them? And you gave that land to my people, and now you're just taking it away?" Thirteen questioned again, knowing he was pushing things.

But these were his people, and Thirteen wanted to know if this would affect them negatively, especially those who had already taken advantage of what his Father and Parliament were banning. 

"They will be moved to existing settings east of the line. And I may be taking away some land, but it's for the better. It's to help prevent a war, which is much better for the Thirteen Colonies than more land. This will hopefully help prevent more conflicts like those in the Great Lakes region. It may seem absurd, but I am doing this for the greater good, and it will turn out better in the end. Now I suggest you return to what you were doing and stop asking these stupid questions.” The Empire said. 

Thirteen bowed his head and nodded, hands shaking slightly as he realized he had gotten away with those questions without being hit.

‘You got lucky. I think he’s in a good mood.’

"I understand, Father. I'm just not sure if my people will. They won't like this, but if it does benefit them, they'll like it. My people are smart, and they respect you." Thirteen told his father, throwing in the compliments in the hopes of soothing any irritation.

‘Most won’t like it.’

“I’m sure you can make them understand, right British East Florida?” British East Florida nodded, and Thirteen’s father smiled.

‘We probably won’t. The people affect us, not the other way around.’

“I suppose so. Thank you for the protection, Father.” Thirteen said as he watched his father leave before relaxing, not noticing how tense he had become.

Thirteen knew that most of my people wouldn't like the proclamation. He knew they wouldn't follow it, but he wouldn't tell his Father. He didn't want to get his people in trouble for refusing to follow a law that even he found a bit ridiculous. Thirteen knew this law was to prevent conflict, but he felt there could be better ways of doing it. 

But it's just an act, and he was sure this would blow over. They would deal with this, and things would work out in the end, just like always.

Spontaneous Parenthood

(Prompt by @autocrats-in-love : “Are you my new daddy?” The hero’s child asked, blinking up with wide eyes. The villain sighed. “For the last time, I’m trying to kidnap you! Get in the car!”)

The villain was overjoyed when he learned the address of the hero’s real home and was practically vibrating with excitement as he followed the GPS to the location.

“You have arrived at your destination,” a monotone feminine voice announced.

“Yeah yeah, I see it.”

Villain slowed to a stop just in front of a classic suburban home, complete with grass that almost needed to be cut—such was the life of a hero, Villain presumed; too busy to pull out the lawnmower every weekend. He took in the off-white paint and the layered grey shingles on the roof. Two deck chairs sat adjacent to the front door, and a hydrangea bush in full bloom next to the mailbox. There were no cars in the driveway, and the garage was open and empty, beckoning Villain out of his SUV and into the home.

Once inside, he took in the large kitchen, with shiny countertops and a giant island. The living room was just as overwhelming, plush carpet and huge couch not quite properly filling the huge space. There were more doors on the far wall, but Villain found his gaze drawn to the grand staircase settled to his right.

Start upstairs, then work his way down.

Villain ran his hand along the carved wooden banister until he reached the top, then he headed for the farthest door on the hall.

Surely he could find something to use against Hero in this practical mansion.

The sound of footsteps ascending the stairs behind him sent Villain spinning into the nearest room, shutting the door swiftly but silently.

When he turned around, he saw something completely unexpected.

A child, sleeping in a small bed, tucked beneath a Tinker Bell comforter.

There was no time to process the discovery because outside the door, a woman’s voice sounded, “Yeah, it’s still in the shop. Katie’s taking a nap though, so I think I’m gonna let you go. Yeah, finally some Mommy-time. I can’t wait to actually finish this book.”

The voice faded, and Villain breathed a sigh of relief. This, however, was premature.

A new voice, this one tiny and young, caused Villain to jump two feet in the air.

“Who are you?” It asked, and the villain froze.

“Um…” he searched his surroundings for any plausible cover and found nothing but butterfly lamps and Disney Princess dolls.

“I’m a friend of your Dad’s?” He finally tried, uncertainty lacing his tone. He had no idea what kind of acting it took to convince a child, but he figured that probably wasn’t good enough.

His plan was in ruins, house now unsearchable with two occupants. He couldn’t just leave either, the kid would rat him out immediately.

That left only one option.

“I’m taking you somewhere else,” Villain spoke quickly, poking his head out the door to ensure the woman—presumably this girl’s mother—was gone.

“Where?”

“It’s a surprise,” he replied as he took hold of a tiny hand and pulled the girl towards the door.

Kids like surprises, right?

“Uh uh,” she shook her head. “How do I know you’re not a bad man?”

“I am a bad man,” Villain responded automatically. When she tried to pull away from his hand, he scooped her up and started down the stairs quickly.

Distraction. He needed a distraction.

“What’s with the tutu?”

The girl looked down at her outfit: a pink tutu overlaying a pair of Mickey Mouse themed footy-pajamas, complete with an eye patch flipped up over her forehead.

“I’m a fairy Princess pirate!”

She appeared utterly displeased with Villain’s ineptitude at recognizing her incredibly well-established costume.

“Shouldn’t you have a tiara or something?”

Wrong question.

He watched as she took a big breath and opened her mouth and realized he had to act fast.

He said the first thing that popped into his head.

“We can get ice cream!”

Villain grimaced. His current plan was contingent on a child staying quiet for frozen treats. Not his best work.

Luckily, the promise of ice cream seemed to easily override the kid’s survival instincts. Villain would be sure to mention that to Hero when she gets returned.

Speaking of Hero.

“Where’s my Dad?” The little girl asked as they reached the driveway.

“He’s not here right now, but if you come with me you’ll see him soon.”

He unlocked the car, but Hero’s daughter refused to get in.

“I don’t want to go. Why are you here and Dad isn’t?”

Villain opened his mouth to reply before realizing he had no idea how to comfort a confused child, much less one he was kidnapping.

“Let’s just get in the car.”

The girl seemed to think for a moment before she spoke again. Her face shifted from upset to…curious?

“Are you my new daddy?” She asked, blinking up at him with wide eyes.

The villain sighed, exasperated. “For the last time, I’m trying to kidnap you! Get in the car!”

“Daddy told me I shouldn’t get in the car with strangers,” she said sternly, pouting her lip slightly and planting her feet.

“I- okay, you know what, fine. I will be temporarily filling in the role of father in your Dad’s absence. Is that good enough? Can we get in the car now?”

“Sure!” Her face returned to its usual brightness, and she lifted up her arms and made grabby-hands at the villain. Villain loosed a sigh of relief and bent down to lift the child into the car.

“I can’t ride in the front,” she protested, and Villain froze holding her hovering in front of the open passenger side door.

“…right,” Villain hesitated, looking around for anyone to come catch him in the act and solve this problem easily. If the police were called, he could just drop the child and run.

Unfortunately, the street was quiet, and Villain had no legitimate reason to halt this abduction.

Setting the girl back down, Villain closed the door and opened the backseat.

Taking a second attempt at lifting her into the car, this time, she almost reached the leather seat before stopping him again.

“I need my car seat! It’s in case I get in a axe-see-dent,” she sounded, kicking her feet in displeasure.

Villain groaned.

“I don’t have a car seat.”

“That’s not very safe,” Katie—if Villain remembered correctly—crossed her arms and huffed exaggeratedly.

“Okay…I’ll just go…find one,” Villain murmured, mostly to himself.

Villain wandered absently into the garage in search of a car seat. He saw several things he had missed the first time in his excitement. For example, three bikes mounted to the wall, one suspiciously small and pink and sparkly. If the training wheels weren’t a big enough red flag, everything else should have been: a pink life vest, chalk, sidewalk paint, bubble solution. Villain certainly didn’t take Hero for one to occupied by a giant bubble wand in his free time.

By a stroke of luck, he recognized the seat sitting in a corner.

A few minutes later, after studying confusing safety instruction stickers and teaching Katie a few new words in the process, Villain successfully buckled Hero’s child into the seat.

Villain finally settled into the front, driving away after buckling himself—at Katie’s insistence.

“Play Lil Jon!”

“I told you, this is a kidnapping, I’m not going to play you music.”

Katie went silent, and Villain prayed she wasn’t about to burst into tears.

“When are we getting ice cream?”

Villain adjusted his rear view mirror to be able to keep an eye on the kid. Her eyes were locked out the heavily tinted window and her lip was trembling.

He cursed, internally this time.

Villain blamed innate parental instincts as he pulled into the Dairy Queen, ‘Turn Down For What’ blasting through the speakers.

He could feel the beginning of a headache pressing behind his eyes.

It was going to be a long ride.

27 Tommie

The day after he went out to get new clothes, the storks had to get out of the hotel due to them being found out by other kids. But now they seem to have a sudden change in budget. Instead of having to rob gas stations and steal, they were able to afford to travel and get the materials they needed.

Instead of them being just being a group of storks with no interesting name. They were now referred to as “Egret Academy”, a name made by Starkey.

Right now they were traveling on a charter bus to who knows where. Kayden was asleep next to him on his shoulder. He had noticed she hadn't got that much sleep lately, he didn't know why though.

Since Kayden seemed safe at the moment, he took his main focus to the others around him.

He had taken note that lots of the kids in “Egret Academy” looked up to Starkey and that they blindly obeyed him. If Starkey had told one of those kids to jump off a cliff that kid would probably do it in a heartbeat.

Tommie hates the thought of people looking up to Starkey. He had figured Starkey didn't do anything that important that could cause him to be looked up to. 

He was just another guy to him that loved having power and control..Like his “mom”.

Tommie looks over to Kayden who is still asleep next to him. He could see eye bags that started to develop under her eyes.

He then promised himself to never let Starkeys ideas get to her head.

A couple days later they ended up at this camp..what was it.? Tommie was sure it was called redwood something, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Him and Kayden were standing under a tree taking in its shade. The other kids were running around, climbing trees, basically acting like kids for once. Starkey was somewhere, probably busy talking to the owner of the camp.

Tommie was enjoying the temporary peace and quiet when Kayden suddenly started trying to talk to him.

“Y'know I went camping once..” She says with a somewhat awkward tone.

He wasn't that interested in her story, but she didn't seem to notice that.

“It was sometime during the day..My parents were relaxing in the lake house we rented and my brother suggested going out to find snakes.” She starts telling him.

“We both went out to a forest that was near the lake and he found a water moccasin assuming it was a rat snake.” Kayden continues.

“The start of my vacation was ruined by him since we had to go to the ER and give him some kind of vaccine.” She finishes.

Tommie doesn't say anything to her about her story and she lets out an awkward laugh.

Before she could try to continue her conversation, she just walks away from him.

Now he stands under the shaded tree alone. He makes sure to stay a bit guard, he doesn't know when everything can go wrong again and he assumes Starkey could possibly betray them in the future..

..

Later that night he and Kayden set up camp near the rest of the kids.

Tommie looked at Kayden for a few moments and debated in his head.

“Should I tell her about Starkey? Or should I just wait till later?” He thought to himself.

“It's better to just tell her now, I don't know when Starkey could betray us.” He concludes in his head.

Tommie sits up on his sleeping bag and looks over at her.

“Kayden, I need to tell you something.” He says to her.

“What is it.?” She asks him.

He takes a second to gather his words.

“It's about Starkey, I think he can't be trusted.” He starts off.

“He's been too kind to all of us and I don't want you to fall for anything he promises us in the future.” He tells her.

“I know that.” She simply says.

He was surprised by her response.

“What?” He says in confusion.

“I know that Tommie, I obviously can't trust everyone here. That's just stupid if I did.” Kayden tells him.

Tommie stares at her for a few moments while feeling surprised and confused by her.

Then she spoke up again.

“Plus I don't plan on staying here for long.” She says.

“What do you mean?” He asks as he feels some kind of anger build up inside of him.

“I plan on leaving the storks once I find Avery.” She tells him.

“But he's probably dead by no-” He tries to say but he gets cut off.

“He's probably at a harvest camp right now and I just have a gut feeling he's still whole.” Kayden adds on.

His anger was now being replaced by jealousy.

“She just couldn't abandon him once she found this guy!?” He thought.

“She has to stay with me! I can't let her leave!” His thoughts said.

“Kayden, you don't have to leave soon as you find him.” He says to her.

Kayden gives him an annoyed look and ignores him.

She lays back down on her sleeping bag and faces away from him.

He doesn't say anything to her annoyance towards him.

Tommie stands up from his sleeping bag and walks away in frustration towards the wooded area.

He makes it a bit away from camp and sits down on the ground against a tree.

He knew that Kayden had her own personal goals.

But he wanted her to stay and be with him so bad.

All because she reminded him of her..

..

It was a nice summer day, Tommie and his younger sister Bella were walking around the neighborhood. Bella was riding on her bike while he just preferred to walk.

She started picking up the pace on her bike and started to speed past him.

“You're too slow!” She shouts as she rode past him.

He laughed a bit at her.

“Not if I get past you first! Then you'd be the slow one!” He says as he starts to run up to her.

She laughed and started to ride across the street.

But before they both noticed a car sped down the street, the driver wasn't paying attention to the road.

The car then crashed into Bella

Tommie remembers to this day the sound of her screaming in pain.

The fact the driver tried to move over her body like she wasn't even there.

The sound of sirens quickly approaching the scene.

All while Tommie stood there and watched in shock..

..He learned later that the driver was high on some kind of street drug and that he was sent to jail for murder.

He remembers the police bringing him back home and when the policeman left him alone with his “mom”.

She yelled and hit him blaming him for killing his sister even though the accident was so quick and he couldn't do anything about it..

One week later he found out he was sent to be unwound.

Tommie didn't want Kayden dying on him..

He needed her to live for his sake..

Kingdom Hearts: “Brave” world idea (“DunBroch”)

Before we begin, I thought I would mention that since “Kingdom Hearts” has so far included “Tangled” and “Frozen”, the only Disney Princess worlds from the 2000s that haven’t been used yet are “The Princess and the Frog”, “Brave”, and “Moana”. If “Raya and the Last Dragon” counts, maybe that too. From that selection, I hand-picked “Brave” because of two reasons. One, because I feel “Brave” is an underrated Disney Princess film. And two, because following my suggestion for summons, I felt Robin Hood’s summon gem would be a fitting reward since Merida is all about archery and hand-to-hand swordsmanship. To fit the world of “Kingdom Hearts”, I took the liberty of changing some stuff around, like instead of making a deal with a witch who carves wood, Merida could instead make a deal with one of the members of Organization XIII.

STORY (“DunBroch”)

FIRST VISIT

After running away from Queen Elinor, who threw Merida’s bow in the fireplace after a heated argument, Merida (voiced by Ruth Connell) is thrown into the Ring of Stones by her horse, Angus, who becomes scared at first glance. Merida follows the Will O' the Wisps into the woods, where Merida sees Xigbar of the Organization XIII. Xigbar offers an elixir to give to Merida. Xigbar instructs her to give it to her mother, and it will change her. Merida, without hesitation, takes the elixir, thinking that by what Xigbar meant by “change her mother”, it’ll make Queen Elinor change her mind about forcing Merida to marry against her own will. By the time Xigbar vanishes, Sora, Donald, and Goofy come out to greet Merida, who would be surrounded by Heartless. Merida reveals her fighting skills with her sword, and she becomes Sora’s party member.

On the way back home to Castle DunBroch, Merida wonders why those Heartless spawned in. She reveals to Sora that she got an elixir that’ll help her mom change her mind. Sora asks why, and Merida reveals that she doesn’t want to get married. By the time they make it back, Merida pours the elixir into a glass just as Queen Elinor appears. She hugs Merida and is relieved to see she’s okay. At the sight of Sora, Donald, and Goofy, she welcomes the trio and wonders what kingdom Sora comes from. After some introductions, the five propose a toast for Merida’s return, and they all drink their wine glasses. Queen Elinor starts to feel sick to her stomach, and the five escort the queen to her room. But when they arrive, they see Queen Elinor as a giant bear. Merida is angry that the man in black tricked her into giving him an elixir that turned her mom into a bear instead of causing her to call off the marriage. Sora starts to question Merida about this “man in black”, until by Merida’s description, Sora learns he made a deal with Xigbar. Sora calls out Merida, who in turn blames Xigbar, but despite their argument, Sora still helps Merida help her mother escape the castle as King Fergus (voiced by Rob Paulsen) and the clans search around.

After escaping, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Merida find Xigbar and have a boss battle with him. After his defeat, he reminds Merida that the elixir’s effects can wear off through an act of selflessness (Keep in mind, Xigbar is still evil, but he does give our heroes at least one useful hint.). Xigbar reminds Merida to “Mend the bond, torn by pride” and disappears. Sora, Donald, and Goofy sleep with Merida and Elinor in the middle of the woods and Merida has a dream where she (as a kid) sang “Noble Maiden Fair” with her mother after the lightning scared her.

The next morning, Sora has a mini-game where he must help Merida and Elinor catch fish from the river for breakfast (Heck, if the ingredients system from “Kingdom Hearts 3” came back, this would be a great area to collect fish for the Bistro from Twilight Town.). After eating fish, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Merida follow Queen Elinor to find some ancient ruins. Mor’du emerges from the shadows and we have a boss fight with Mor’du. After defeating him, Merida allows Sora, Donald, and Goofy to leave while she takes care of the rest.

SECOND VISIT

Sora, Donald, and Goofy come back just as King Fergus and the clans run after Bear Elinor. Merida is locked in her room weeping in despair, but Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive to help her out. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Merida get on Angus and ride through the forest, only to be confront by Xigbar again. Only this time, he has summoned a Nobody boss to prevent Merida from changing her mom back into a human. With the Nobody defeated, Xigbar brings Mor’du in next and makes a run for it. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Elinor fight Mor’du to protect Merida, and all five of them have a boss encounter with the former human prince. After the defeating him, the sun has risen, but Merida cries when she sees her mom hasn’t turned back into a human. She apologizes for being selfish and causing this entire mess, only for the spell to have worked after all. Sora, Donald, and Goofy cover their eyes when they see the Queen naked, and King Fergus thanks Sora for looking after his wife and daughter. As a reward, King Fergus gives Sora a summon gem he had kept in the treasure room (I just don’t know what King Fergus’ description would be for this gem, so leave a comment if you have any suggestions). Sora seals the keyhole in DunBroch and along with the summon gem, Sora would unlock an archery-themed keyblade.

TW long vent

OMFG my parents can’t pull their divorce shit together when we’re MID CRISIS and trying to gtfo and now my dads telling me we’re completely fucked and won’t be safe no matter where we go because Canada can’t take 2/7 of us and we’d be in poverty for the rest of our lives because of this fucking house we can’t sell.

On top of that dad has a ‘we’re hopeless sorry guys’ attitude and I have two different sides of what happens during those conversations so I don’t know who to believe because they’re throwing shade and shit at each other constantly DO I NEED TO START MONITORING THINGS LIKE A PRESCHOOL TEACHER?! I know I’m technically an adult now but I didn’t mean that meant I have to parent my parents who both are biased and hate each other and want me to make a decision on who to stay with and who to believe, I DON’T BELIEVE ANY OF THEM ANYMORE!

On top of that days are a blur and the only thing I look forward to is sleep. I’d be in bed all day if I didn’t have to PARENT MY SIBLINGS AS WELL, since two parents go to work and one works night shift and sleeps till 2 pm

As you can imagine the little ones are JUST AS STRESSED so they act out and I deal with it and my sister is a bully to them both and won’t FUCKING LISTEN TO ME.

It was like this before too but not this bad, I hope Trump fucking kills himself for causing this mess for me and for everyone because GOD knows so many other kids my age have it so much worse right now and here I am crying on tumblr.

It’s ok that my whole family needs mommy-ing though because my dad works very hard to pay our bills though 😀 I need to be thankful and NEVER call him a manchild for not being able to get his shit with my other dad under control or he’ll ground me from absolutely everything and threaten to send me to military school, believe me I know cause that’s what happened to my sister! You’d think he couldn’t cause I’m 18 but because of how isolated my life is I can’t exactly leave here and stay at a friends, his house his rules. Dad never apologized though, did he? He made it out about my other dad and how he’s a manipulative mastermind who’s ruining things on purpose. My sister never forgave him and frankly neither did I.

There’s nowhere to get away from this all I can do is vent here can’t run away can’t drive don’t know anyone in this area because my parents insisted home school all my friends are online and ive strictly ONLY had online friends since I was 12 so that’s 6 years of emotional isolation so it’s not like I have. Support system or anyone to listen to me talk abt this stuff IRL.
