it’s time for our art to get political. more than ever. im scared of the future, and some here might relate. i think it’s pretty acceptable to be scared while watching the rise of fascism, while watching an abuser winning one election, while watching billionaires permitting people to associate LGBTQ+ with mental illness, while watching a whole city burning. it’s ok and super valid to be scared, but we can’t give up. it’s time for us to be kind to each other and make a safe space for one another. i love you and i will try my best to make my art a place where you can feel safe being who you are.
