He's Liu Qingge, War God of Bai Zhan Peak, king of fighting or whatever, does he actually know he was going to die without intervention there? He was surprised sqq didn't take advantage of the situation to kill him, so when sqq chose to help instead, when he held lqg's life in his hands, then yeah, of course lqg knows he escaped death. But does he know he would have died if sqq had chosen to do nothing at all? That the stakes weren't SQQ will either kill me or save me but that he would die if no one tried to help?? That he wouldn't be able to pull through this one on his own? That his undefeated streak would end because of his own bad habits??

And he has a life debt now, and likes his martial brother now, and everytime he can help, sqq either rebuffs him or literally has lqg help him throw himself off a cliff or something. Lqg is the most suspicious of sqq! He does not believe sqq has changed, so what did he rationalise his own behavior with? Im helping to keep an eye on him. Keep him close so I see what's coming faster. He must have saved me for a reason, a trick or a debt.

When sqq shows he's actually, you know, friendly, lqg must think. Ah, a debt then. Clear the slate. He gets into enough trouble that makes sense. I'll just repay the debt and won't have to worry about any tricks or whatever he has up his sleeve. And then sqq is like "actually I'd rather die three times, thank you!"

He doesnt know! His narrative purpose has changed from "Dying to condemn Shen Qingqiu" to "being alive to save Shen Qingqiu"

And Shen Qingqiu REFUSES!! to let him do that.

And Liu Qingge doesn't know! Like, Luo Binghe knows! Luo Binghe has seen what he was supposed to become, if Shen Qingqiu had been different. He's seen how lonely and despicable he is meant to be. He knows, as much as he can, that his life was irrevocably changed by the hands of his beloved, that in a world slightly to the left he would have been miserable and alone.

But Liu Qingge was supposed to be dead.

I've thought about my whole "Asa having abandonment issues" post more and came up with something.

It's less Asa scared of Arkin leaving and more like he's waiting for it. I suppose? Like, Asa wouldn't blame Arkin for leaving him. Everyone around him tends to leave eventually, and the common denominator is Asa himself.

He has such an awful self image at times and doesn't think he deserves the love that Arkin shows him. Asa doesn't exactly push him away, but if he gets the feeling that Arkin is upset with him or is spending less time with him or is interested in someone else (platonically or romantically) he'll think, "Welp, it is what it is". Asa kinda distances himself from Arkin so he can give him some space, all while also trying to get closer? Idk it's confusing. At one moment, Asa refuses to leave Arkin's side, and then the next, he'll ignore Arkin and busy himself in his work.

Weeks passed and wheels start turning. Seeds of doubt had started digging into you. The late nights he had stayed at base before his deployment, only sending as much as a quick text of ‘Be home late. Dont wait up.’ Or the necessary secrecy between what happens at his job or deployment were starting to plant ideas in your head you wouldnt have ever had if not for that message. Youre being worn down, and its killing you. Its not like you could ask him; being thousands of kilometres away without any time to do as much as glance at his phone.

So the emotional resentment grew. You find yourself wondering how he could do this to you, crying in your empty home that housed the both of you not long ago. Before you even come to terms with it, Youve packed your bags and lawyered up, letting your resentment fester for far to long without any outside input.

On the third month of Prices deployment, you drive yourself up to base with one intention; leave the divorce papers on his desk to find when he comes back and to leave without confrontation.

Security on base knows you as ‘Price’s missus’ by now, offering a small wave and a smile as you walk by and into your husbands office. You put the papers on his desk, that frustration and hurt bubbling up all over again. He has your wedding photo framed on his desk and it only hurts more. What did you do to deserve this?

You turn to go, heading back towards his door when you hear muffled laughter and the sounds of gear being unzipped and dumped from down the hallway. Theyre back. You pick up the pace, praying you can slip out before he gets close enough to notice. You reach for the door handle, but the door opens before you can even grasp it.

Shit.

And there he is, your eyes drinking in the sight of the awfully more rugged version of your husband; beard outgrown and messy with tired eyes that light up at the sight of you.

That light dies as soon as sees just how mad you look.

“So youre telling me, one message is all it took to lose all fucking faith?” Price practically growls, fingers rubbing at his temples. Hes sat in his chair with you on the other side of his desk, just as furious. “Everything makes sense! The staying late at base, the short messages and lack of updates when your deployed!” You hiss, frustration bubbling over making anything small seem huge.

Price takes a deep breath, a futile attempt to calm his temper. “The shit I deal with doesnt sleep. Theres reasons i stay back that you will never know, love. The law itself, wont let me tell you. Same goes for messages. Im sorry i dont have the time to let you know im okay when im deployed, god knows i wish I did.” He scowls, his gaze so heated and intense that you almost look away despite your own fury.

“And what about this receptionist huh?”

Your tone has changed, soft and shaky. vunerable.

Price’s expression softens, but he doesnt say a word, simply rounding his desk to pluck you out of your own chair and putting you down in his office chair. He sinks to his knees in front of you, hands rested on your thighs. Blue eyes peer up at you, sickeningly sincere. “Love, I dont interact with her unless necessary. This isnt some romance movie bullshit.” Your heart is working overtime, lips parted as guilt bubbles. “You- you understand where my doubt is coming from, though…right? Everything lined up perfectly, and-“

Price simply tuts. “We’ve talked about that pretty little head of yours overthinking too much, havent we?” You freeze, throat drying. You nod. “Answer me, sweetheart.”

“Yes-“ you croak. “We have.”

Price grunts in approval, his hands now running up and down your thighs.

“Have you been feeling neglected, hm? Is that it? My sweet wife needs some attention?” Price rumbles, his large, calloused hands that have been marked by countless battles now playing with the hem of your skirt.

“You’ve got my attention now, luvie. No need to play these stupid games with me.”

Your mind is already growing hazy; your husbands words making you almost want to forget about this whole incident. A finger hooks onto the waistband of your panties, bringing you back to the moment.

Also, just me imagining a frustrated Nico calling Jason a hypocrite for leaving and telling Nico to stay. It's emotional, Jason tried being the calm one, but something something said or maybe all the emotions he's kept a tight lid, breaks. They both go at each other, as in they just yelling how they feel about themselves and the camps.

Until it's just all Jason, Nico is quiet just listening. When Jason finally notices, he goes quiet, perhaps feeling ashamed and embarrassed that he burdened Nico with his problems. MAYBE Jason's even scared of what Nico will say.

Will he invalidate Jason's feelings because he's THE Jason Grace? Son of Zeus, Champion of Juno, Hero of Olympus? Will Nico see him as the Golden Boy and not Jason himself?

The post was about their unconscious intimacy and the muscle memory of responding to one another's bodies, remember? It wasn't about a romantic event.

They dont need the moment to be romantic, to have this happen, because it's become natural for them.

That moment showed how their bodies connect to each other without any conscious decisions being made.

The fact that this happens despite a third party being present just proves the point further.

Tae might have been sitting right next to them, and their automatic responses to each other STILL kicked in. Jimin's feet still nestled in under JK's. JK's toes still found their comfy spot on top of Jimins foot.

It seems they weren't self conscious about Tae being with them. They cuddled regardless.

Those automatic responses are apparently not hampered by Tae's presence.

That actually tells me that they're used to him being in their (couple) space.

It also tells me they see this environment - the boat/Jeju trip - as their space...

I gotta be real I was a little confused on if the three were in a poly relationship or not so I kept it a little open! Hope this turned out okay!!

I can very easily see adam being the type to play favorites and have them change every other week depending on who did what for him

Lute did something for him? Hes going to favor Lute a little more

You did something for him? He favors you more

And so on

He becomes more likely to ask you for favors, as well as generally seeking you out

Which leaves a very jealous lute, angry at being left behind

But yet, she doesnt direct her anger towards adam. Rather its directed towards you, regardless of it its fair or not...

She becomes very passive aggressive towards you, and likely tries to sabotage you throughout the day

And towards adam, she becomes a bit of a suck up, trying way too hard to regain his favor

Generally theres a lot of stress going on within you three; with adam being a dense douchebag, you just trying to be a good friend/partner, and lute being a jealous try hard

You may have to take lute to the side and confront her to try to find out what the issue is

Shes going to be stubborn, and probably try to insist that you know what's going on, even if you dont

This isnt to say that I think the dynamic is impossible or that it's not possible to fix into something healthy

If it's a poly romantic relationship, you both need to talk to Adam and explain everything. It won't fix itself over night and it's going to be a process of righting behavior that hes had for a long time.. as well as trying to get lute to be more open to speaking instead of immediately causing conflict

If it's a case where you're dating adam only, and lute is a third wheel boundaries are going to need to be put in place. For both Adam and lute. Adam is going to have to catch himself from his favoritism. Lute will have to accept the change that is adam having a romantic interest
