Amelie stepped off the brightly lit stage at the River Plate Stadium, her heart pounding with the residual adrenaline of performing in front of thousands. The sound of screaming fans still echoed in her ears as the crew hustled around, breaking down the set. She’d just finished opening for Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour, and the energy of the crowd had been electric. But even as she smiled and thanked the team backstage, her thoughts weren’t entirely on the performance. They were on the man waiting for her back at the hotel.

Amelie’s lips curled into a small, private smile as she pulled the towel from her neck and dabbed at the sweat on her forehead. Her body ached from the high-energy performance, her legs heavy from hours of dancing under the blistering lights. Yet, the thought of Lando made her pulse quicken in a different way. For the past three days, he had been tucked away in her hotel room, hidden from the world like a well-kept secret. It was risky, sure, but the thought of him being there—waiting for her—was a comfort she couldn’t resist.

The ride back to the hotel was quiet, her driver understanding her exhaustion as she leaned back in the seat, staring out at the Buenos Aires skyline. The city buzzed with life, and she couldn’t help but think about how much her life had changed in the past few weeks. Only a month ago, she and Lando had barely spoken in over a year, and now they were back in each other’s orbit, tangled in a web of emotions that neither of them seemed ready to define.

The elevator ride to her floor felt excruciatingly slow. Her body yearned for a shower, for her bed, and most of all, for him. She swiped her keycard and pushed open the door to her suite, her eyes immediately landing on Lando. He was sprawled on the couch, dressed in a pair of sweatpants and one of his oversized McLaren T-shirts, his damp curls suggesting he’d just showered. The glow from the TV cast soft shadows on his face, and he looked up at her with that boyish grin that made her heart skip every damn time.

—Hey, superstar,— he greeted, his voice warm and teasing.

—Hey, trouble,— she replied, kicking off her boots and dropping her bag by the door. —Been waiting long?—

—Only my whole life,— he quipped, standing and crossing the room to meet her halfway. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her into a tight embrace that made her sigh against his chest. He smelled like his cologne and her shampoo, a combination that was oddly comforting.

Amelie tilted her head back to look at him. —Missed me, huh?—

—Obviously,— he said, his accent making the word drawl slightly. —I’m stuck in here like a bloody prisoner while you’re out there living it up. Feels a bit unfair, doesn’t it?—

She laughed, the sound light and genuine as she pressed her hands to his chest. —You’re the one who insisted on coming here. Don’t complain now.—

Lando shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eye. —What can I say? I’m a glutton for punishment.— He leaned down, brushing his lips against hers in a way that was soft but carried the promise of something more.

Her fingers curled into his shirt, pulling him closer as she deepened the kiss. The exhaustion from the night seemed to melt away under his touch, replaced by the familiar heat that always simmered between them. But then, as if remembering herself, she pulled back, her lips quirking into a smirk.

—Let me shower first,— she murmured. —I’m disgusting.—

—I don’t mind,— he teased, but he let her go, watching her retreat to the bathroom with a look that made her stomach flip.

The hot water was a blessing, washing away the sweat and grime of the concert. As she stood under the spray, her mind wandered to Lando. To the way he looked at her, the way he touched her, and the way he made her feel like the center of his universe when they were together. It was almost overwhelming, the intensity of it all. But it was also addictive.

When she emerged from the bathroom, wrapped in a plush robe with her damp hair falling around her shoulders, she found Lando lying on the bed, scrolling through his phone. He looked up when she entered, his eyes softening in that way they always did when he saw her.

—You’re hogging the bed,— she said, climbing in next to him.

He smirked, setting his phone aside. —It’s a big bed, Ames. There’s plenty of room for you.—

Amelie rolled her eyes but settled beside him, her head resting on his chest as his arm came around her shoulders. They sat in comfortable silence for a while, the sound of his heartbeat steady under her ear.

—I can’t believe you actually came here,— she said softly, tracing patterns on his shirt with her finger. —You’re insane.—

Lando chuckled, his fingers idly running through her damp hair. —I think you already knew that. But, come on, Ames, how could I not? A week without seeing you was already torture. If I’d stayed away any longer, I might’ve gone mad.—

She smiled, her heart doing that annoying fluttery thing it always did when he said something sweet. —You’re lucky I didn’t get caught sneaking you in here. Taylor’s security team would’ve thrown both of us out.—

—Worth it,— he said with a grin, leaning down to kiss the top of her head. —Besides, I’m not exactly complaining about being stuck in a hotel with you. Could be worse places to hide out.—

Amelie tilted her head to look up at him, her fingers still tracing lazy circles over his chest. —You mean you don’t miss the chaos of the paddock? The cameras? The endless media questions?—

—Not when I’ve got you,— he said without missing a beat, his voice soft but teasing. —I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love the attention, but this? This is better.—

She laughed, shaking her head. —You’re so full of shit.—

—Maybe,— he admitted, his grin widening, —but you like me anyway.—

Amelie rolled her eyes, but the truth of his words settled somewhere deep inside her. She did like him, more than she probably should, given their history. But here they were, tangled up in each other’s lives again, unable to stay away despite all the reasons they shouldn’t.

She shifted, propping herself up on her elbow to get a better look at him. —You know, you’ve got a race next weekend. Shouldn’t you be, I don’t know, resting? Training? Doing whatever it is you racing drivers do?—

Lando shrugged, his free hand coming up to rest on her hip. —I’ve got my priorities straight. Besides, I’m already ahead of schedule. Being here with you is... good for me. Keeps me grounded.—

—Grounded?— she repeated, raising an eyebrow. —I’m pretty sure sneaking around in hotel rooms isn’t exactly what they mean by that.—

He smirked, his hand slipping under the hem of her robe to rest on her bare thigh. —Maybe not, but I’d argue it’s worth bending the rules for you.—

Her breath hitched at the feel of his touch, her body instinctively leaning into him. He had this way of making her forget everything else, of drawing her into his orbit until nothing else mattered. It was intoxicating, and she wasn’t sure she’d ever get used to it.

—You’re such a flirt,— she murmured, her voice quieter now as her fingers trailed along his jawline. —What am I going to do with you?—

Lando’s eyes darkened slightly, his grip on her thigh tightening just enough to make her heart race. —I can think of a few things.—

She laughed, the sound soft and breathless as she leaned down to kiss him. It started slow, her lips brushing against his in a way that was almost tentative, but it quickly deepened, the heat between them building as his hands found their way to her waist.

It was moments like this that reminded her why she’d let him back into her life. Despite everything—the heartbreak, the distance, the uncertainty—there was something undeniable about the way they fit together. Something that made all the risks feel worth it.

—You’re trouble, Norris,— she whispered against his lips, her hands tangling in his curls.

He grinned, his breath warm against her skin. —And you like it.—

Amelie pulled back just enough to look at him, her eyes searching his. —I don’t know what we’re doing, Lando. I don’t know where this is going.—

His expression softened, the teasing edge fading as he cupped her face in his hands. —Neither do I, Ames. But I know I don’t want to stop.—

For a moment, she just looked at him, her heart caught somewhere between fear and hope. Then she leaned in, kissing him again, letting herself get lost in him. Whatever this was—whatever they were—it was theirs. And for now, that was enough.

✨Kaiju Siblings!!✨

Did something small & simple just to take things easy & also while having fun. I often enjoy drawing these two interacting with each other. At least in my version of things, they are in fact siblings. They both share a lot of things together & of course are the future heir to Godzilla’s name & status. However, each are very different in their personalities. At least how they treat & do things:

Junior is the more curious outgoing type. She loves meeting new friends & generally seeing/learning new things. More so, she’s the one to start conversations & ask a lot of questions. To her, she likes getting to know others better (for that reason she has a lot of friends). Junior can also even be more confrontational whenever necessary to be. Putting her skills as a kaiju to the test & being able to stand herself strong. She’s not afraid to intimidate (she can be pretty brutal with downsizing the other if deserved (I’ll provide an example later ^^:). But for the most part, she’s very sweet & overall very adorable in how she does certain things (making her more serious moments more unexpected lol)

Minilla on the other hand is very awkward & less outgoing like his sister (pretty much the opposite; an actual introvert). He always wants to prove that he can be just as strong & be a great kaiju like their dad. But in the end, he lets fear overcome him or suddenly the thoughts of failing already overwhelm him into thinking it would happen. Along with the thing that he doesnt exactly like confrontation or being outed as much. If anything, he prefers if all could get along peacefully (which isnt anything easy in the kaiju world. But however, he still wants to work on being more confident so he often looks up to others he sees as role models. Minilla’s own role models happen to be: Godzilla of course, Ultraman (he happens to be Ultraman’s biggest fan actually), & even his own sister. He’s still very much going at it. No matter how many times he fails, he still keeps going. Shows that he’s got a very strong will & pretty sure he’d be great as the next Godzilla

Junior very much deeply loves her own older brother (Minilla’s the oldest & Junior’s the youngest btw). She understands his struggle more than anyone, for that reason she’s more than willing to helping him out. She’s quite literally his biggest supporter & always brings to his attention whenever he did something well or showed improvement. As a matter of fact, Minilla has their own burst of celebration whenever they’re able to successfully accomplish something (think of it as a lil happy dance he does). She hugs him as a reward as a good job & despite her being younger than him, she has the big heart to care after him too (as a way to show her love). Minilla always loves watching Ultraman whenever on tv (in this universe, Ultraman both doubles as a celebrity superstar & actual hero for both the humans & kaiju; well, more of just a celebrity to the kaiju at least) & taking inspiration from his favorite hero. That way to boost his motivation & even getting ideas on how to be a more powerful kaiju. Minilla does in fact have to deal with Gabara in this version too. Despite of how much Gabara has made him feel afraid from being bullied by him, Minilla’s ready to fight back thanks to the help from others with him

Well those were just some of my own thoughts. I also gave them some outfits that i felt matched perfectly with their described personalities ^^

Prompt idea with reader being a part of a band that's heavily inspired by Babymetal, like the type of music is pop mixed with metal, the outfits, the whole vibe basically. Heaven's got a new band in town and it's reader's band (You can either create a name for them, go without mentioning any name or whatever else you choose to do with that! You can even ask me and we'll both think about the name c:). Adam at first was like "Tf? New band getting popular? Pfft, they probably suck, no one can out-do the first fucking man🙄" but then when Lute asked him to actually go and check it out with her since she got curious when one of the exterminators went there and told her that it was absolutely fucking awesome. They go and it's literally just a blast. The crowd work is astonishing with how the fans, even the shy ones, have no problems with being vocal with the lyrics or movement, the light effects are just top notch, sound quality is gorgeous and clear, the vibe on its own is just one of a kind and Adam is like "Yeah, shit, this is actually really cool, like wtf" but the biggest magic is when he first hears and then sees the reader alongside the two of his like "backup vocals" (I wouldn't really call Mo or Moa that, but I can't find a better word rn) absolutely rocking out, enchanting everyone as if he was some sort of magician, making Adam start questioning his sexuality, simply going "Am I fucking gay? What's actually happening right now?"

A new band was blowing up in heaven, their posters were everywhere and Adam was already pissed off by it. Who the fuck did they think they were? Playing in his area? Fuck no. He avoided them as best as he could - considering that their posters hung in every window it wasn't that easy to do.

Lute landed next to Adam, she was visibly excited about something so the first man stopped with a sigh and turned around to look at her, “Sir, have you heard about Divine Fuck-Ups?” Adam growled as he gave Lute a nod, “Bitch, their posters are everywhere, how could I fucking not?” Lute simply rolled her eyes at him, “Yeah well, the other exorcists won't shut up about how good they are so,” the exorcist pulled out two concert tickets. Adam looked down at her, his expression a mix between hatred and betrayal. Had Lute seriously bought two tickets to a different band's concert? Especially when that band was playing in his fucking area on his fucking main stage? Apparently she fucking did. “You bought fucking tickets,” Adam grumbled, pointing out the most obvious thing ever. “The concert is tonight, I'll pick you up so we won't be late.” And it was not like Adam could have disagreed with her, Lute was onto something and the brunette was pretty sure she'd move mountains to get his ass to that concert.

The concert was… different than what Adam had expected it to be, the crowd was loud and wild, there were multiple mosh pits and none of their fans stood still for even the finest moment, they were constantly moving, vibing, enjoying their music to the brim. The first man had to admit: he was impressed by that. The only thing that bothered him was, that Lute had picked him up so fucking late that they were basically behind the massive crowd, enjoying the concert from the distance which also meant even though Adam was tall, he wasn't seeing shit.

So he simply grabbed Lute's wrist and pulled her with him as he made his way through the crowd, careful not to hurt anyone. Because while he was all for rock ‘n’ roll, the most rock thing to do was to watch out for each other at concerts, a rule he had learned very early.

He had somehow managed to make it to the front row, Lute by his side as he finally laid eyes on you for the first time. Your hair was sticking to your forehead, it was soaked in sweat just like the rest of your body - that was probably the reason why you were shirtless, wearing nothing but a black jeans vest with golden spikes on its shoulders. Your arm was wrapped around the waist of your background singer and you and him shared a microphone as you growled the lyrics of Lute's favorite song.

The background singer that had been in your arm only moments ago, was now dropping to his knees in front of you, grabbing your hips and wiggling them, his face only a couple centimeters away from your crotch, before he quickly got up again. Holy fuck that was hot. Adam was visibly mesmerized by your performance, not just the singing, growling and shouting but the way you owned that stage. The way you made the people go wild, your harmony with your band mates was a once in a lifetime sorta bond and the first man loved everything about it.

The song ended and you breathed heavily into your microphone. “Make some noise for Cove,” you yelled only to lick the man's jaw, Cove - the background singer that had gone down on you during your performance - was enjoying it, a little too much to Adam's liking but who was he to judge? Well he was the first man, that's who he was. “Okay, whatcha say to one more fucking song?” The crowd screamed and cheered, demanding the offered song like it was their air to breathe, shit even Lute screamed at the top of her lungs. Her white hair was all messy, her clothes clung to her body due to her sweating so much and she looked like she had one hell of a time.

The guitarist played the first three cords and the people around Adam were cheering, clapping and whistling. Then the drummer joined in and so did the bassist. Then your voice echoed through the air and Adam felt like he was in trance, all he needed was your voice and your body.

He wasn't able to dance, to enjoy the music, all he was hearing was your angelic sounding voice, it was enchanting through and through. The way you were moving your body held him in a chokehold, the amount of control you must have had over every single muscle was pure bliss in his eyes. He didn't even realize that the last song had ended and that you had just spoken your goodbyes, that's how lost he had been in your voice.

He really didn't understand why but everything inside of him was screaming to get to you, to make you his, to have you. Where those thoughts came from he didn't know, he wasn't gay after all but fuck you had looked hot on stage, better than any woman could have.

Don't ask him how, but he had managed to get a backstage pass once the concert had ended, it definitely had its advantages to be the first man. So there he was, waiting for you to arrive and once the door opened his eyes were basically glued onto you. “Hey there babes,” a cocky, confident smirk was on his lips as he pulled his mask off his head. Trinity is my best friend, she helped me out so much when I joined the WWE 6 years ago. She and her husband Jon took me into their family and helped me adapt into the crazy world of being a WWE superstar.

Ever since I moved here, we have had a weekly tradition of Wednesday Girls Night, its just snacks, Chinese takeout, and movies, it’s just time for us to catch up and wind down from the gruelling travel schedule.

Friday Night Smackdown, Atlanta Georgia, 8 weeks before Survivor Series

Walking into the arena for Smackdown I get a message from Hunter asking to meet him in his office. A mixture of anxiety and curiosity fill in the pit of my stomach. In his office I’m met with the familiar faces of Jon, Josh, and Joseph, smiling I look over to Hunter who invites me to sit.

“I got your message, what’s up?

“We have been toying with the idea of a cross brand rivalry - for Survivor Series. Now that Joe has come up to the main roster, we think the Usos and Solo v The Judgement Day would pique interest from the WWE universe.”

“So why am I here?”

“Demi is the Women’s World Champion and part of Judgment Day; it would only seem right that she faces the Women’s Champion”.

Without hesitation I accept. Hunter debriefs us on how it’s going to play out over the next few weeks. We will have to be on both RAW and Smackdown over the next few weeks, so looks like it will be me and the brothers travelling together since Trin is exclusive to Smackdown!

Gorilla, few hours later (TD segment)

Tonight, I have a singles match, however Demi has to interfere and cost me the match – thus starting our road to Survivor Series.

I see Hunter in his usual place over at the screens with his headset on talking to Randy Orton, Randy spots me and immediately comes over to me.

“There’s my favourite girl.”

“I wouldn’t let your wife hear you say that Randy”.

Randy Orton, he is exactly how you would imagine him to be, a cocky little shit, flirtatious as hell, a menace but he has a heart of gold. Many nights we would hit the gym together and training with him before his injury really improved my in-ring ability. He is another one I would call my family away from family.

A familiar scent fills my nostrils, Josh. He stands next to me wrapping his arm around me pulling me closer, as if to stake his claim in me.

“I’ve been looking for you, come on let’s go”.

I smile apologetically at Randy, he just waves me off laughing, as much as I say people don’t know anything about me and Josh, it’s not to say there isn’t rumours flying around, people have their own take on it, and that’s okay, we just laugh it off.

Trin and Jon (TD Interview segment)

“You see yn and josh think they are so slick hiding their little late-night rendezvous” says Jon

Trin sighing, “I just wish they would bang their heads together and realise they are meant to be. Think of the double dates we could finally have Jon.”

Jon’s laugh fills the small interview room, “yeah it would be sweet, and yn is already like family, it would be an easy transition.”

Away from the cameras

“What were you talking to Randy about?” Josh quizzes

“Nothing, you came in and ushered me away before I could say anything.”

“Good, I don’t like it when you get attention from other guys, just me, okay?”

“I think you’ll find Josh that I can speak to who I like”. I say frustrated with his behaviour.

You see as much as I love Josh, this, this right here the way he wants to have his cake and eat it too drives me insane. I so much as look at another guy and he is right there to remind me I’m his, yet he can look at and speak to as many girls and I can’t say shit.

“I’ve got a match to get to, I’ll see you later J.”

“Goodluck out there baby girl, not that you need it.” Before he can come any closer to me, I slip out the room and let my frustrated sigh out. How much longer am I going to keep torturing myself.

I’d feel like I was imposing.” Holding her lightly by the shoulders, Even ducks down so they’re more eye-to-eye. “You’re working so hard to put all our costumes together. Stay. As soon as you’re back on track, you can move back to the castle. Doesn’t that sound like a good plan?” Vilde’s gratitude is clear in her tearful eyes, the length of her hug. “This is why you were my Marry. Everyone picked Ivar. OC fem! Character x Hawks

Summary: After All Might's resignation, the crime rate in Japan got higher, the government asked for the aid of some Pro Heroes overseas. A hero with fairy like powers was sent to work under Hawks' agency.

Prologue

Hawks stepped out of the car and he immediately waved to the reporters and the cameras flashing as he walks towards the entrance of the building.

"Hawks! Hawks! Is it true that a pro hero who graduated as a top student from overseas will start working here as a pro hero? Is she gonna be under your agency? Why did she moved in here? Is it because the crime rates since All Might retired increased?!"

Right. This was it, the cat is out of the bag now. A month ago, he heard the same rumor from heroes that he met from time to time and he got curious as to what's the big deal with this pro hero moving to Japan but when he was called by the hero commission, Hawks realized that she must've been a real big shot.

The journalist and photographers were all over the place, Hawks hissed. His senses are dialed into 100, which is why he's hyperaware of everybody around him which is why he walked faster, not liking the feeling of being crowded by a lot of people. He's usually fine with reporters bombarding him with their questions but right now his priority is to escape them.

Endeavor's agency was the first pick for this pro hero but Hawks has heard from the commission that she firmly disagreed to work with Endeavor and Hawks almost rolled his eyes at the thought. What's wrong with her? Working with the top 1 is the dream of most heroes so why did she decline?

Well maybe now he'll find out. Hawks, carefully avoided the journalists' questions by giving them ambiguous answers.

Before the press conference Hawks was escorted on a waiting room. As he got bored waiting for the superstar of this day, Hawks played with his crimson wings and before he even knew it he heard high heels tapping on the floor.

"I'm so sorry for being late, I got dragged by the press. Gosh we didn't have to do this, it's too flashy. I prefer to work right away."

Hawks stood up, preparing to greet her the moment she comes in but he was left in awe. He didn't make an effort to research this woman but she's the definition of majestic beauty. Her wings closely resembles the wings of butterfly, the combination of blue, lavender and pearlescent pink with its glittered outlines made her stood out even more.

She even wears a flower crown, her clear blue eyes met his hawk like eyes when she tucked her silver hair behind her ear.

"Ohayo." She greeted, her wings folded on her back as she bowed down. Hawks blinked, imitating her before he reached out his hand for a handshake. "Ohayo, I'm Hawks and you are?" Her peach colored glossy lips curled into a small and shy smile.

"Forest Hero: Fae..."

Her voice is perfectly suited for her face, she sounds sweet and graceful. And Hawks' senses is flooded by her scent. He cleared his throat, "Well since you declined the job at Endeavor san's agency, I received your recommendation. Wecome to my agency, I guess." Hawks fixed his tie, his eyes still fixated on her form, waiting for her response.

Fae's eyes traveled from Hawks' head to toe. The winged hero is probably an inch two taller than her, and he has this beautiful sharp hawk like eyes, with bright red wings.

She's been doing some research about him, and she finds out that he's one of the youngest pro heroes to rise in the hero rankings, and as if that's not an impressive fact, she also found out that this man has established an agency after a short span of working as a pro hero.

She was told that a press conference was prepared to welcome her arrival in Japan though she disliked the idea of a loud crowded place, she knew that as a working pro hero she needs to appear in public every now and then though she'd like to work right away if you'll ask her.

"I'm so sorry for the trouble, I have my personal reasons and issues as to why I declined the position offered in his agency. But is the press con necessary?"

Hawks chuckled and shrugged, "Well since the commission wants it, then it is necessary. You're quite the big shot for these journalists so it's better to handle them now rather than deal with them once you started working." Hawks tried weighing things down since he arrived and he realized that the journalists won't stop pestering them if they won't get anything from them so he figured it would be best to get her attend this press conference with him rather than let her be bombarded by reporters left to right while she's on patrol.

"Oh right, so are we gonna go there now or you have some reminders for me?"

Hawks stuffed his hands in his pockets. He let out a deep breath before he looked at her seriously.

"Yeah just one thing. Don't tell them that you've been invited to transfer here because of the high crime rate. We wouldn't want to give the civilians unnecessary worry."

🎸 You try to keep life as normal as possible for the children growing up which is easier said than done considering their dad's career.

🎸 Since you and Van started a family he's cut down on touring considerably, finally finding that work-life balance he struggled with during his early twenties.

🎸 Touring still takes him away from home for weeks at a time though, and especially over the busy summer festival season.

🎸 Van FaceTimes every day whilst he's away, but even with seeing his face on screen and hearing his voice, Grace and Leo are missing their dad terribly by the time Reading festival rolls around.

🎸 "So... I've been thinking about driving down and coming to watch you at Reading this weekend," you tell Van over the phone. He's excited but when you add "with the kids" his enthusiasm wavers.

🎸 "You know how much I'd love that babe, but I'm not so sure. I just don't think Reading festival's the place for little 'uns really."

🎸 "Come on Van," you reason with him. "Loads of families go to festivals, it's no big deal. You know how much they love music, even little Leo. And Grace won't stop watching the TRNSMT video on YouTube over and over again. She's been begging me to take her to see you on stage, and Reading's the last show of the summer for you."

🎸 Van's quiet for a moment whilst he mulls it over. He's so protective of the kids. It borders on over-protective at times, and his next comment proves this. "I'm still not sure love, it's so bloody loud... and all those people... there's thousands... they'd get crushed!"

🎸 "We're not gonna be at barrier or in the mosh pits silly!" You laugh. "We'll be side of stage, nice and safe, and I'll get the kids some of those big ear defenders. It'll be fine, stop fussing!"

🎸 So there you are on a glorious summer's day in late August, making your way through the crowds with your very excited kids. Grace is decked out in proper festival style with bright pink wellies, flowers in her hair and glitter on her face and Leo's wearing a little bucket hat and shades. Both are wearing Catfish t-shirts specially customised with 'Daddy's Tour Security' on the back and you just know Van's going to be delighted.

🎸 He bounds over immediately when he sees you all entering the artists' area and there are hugs all around. "There they are, my little fan club! My two favourite girls and my main man!" Leo gives him a little fist bump.

🎸 "Daddy I can't wait to see you on stage... you're like the biggest superstar in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!" Grace stretches out her tiny arms to demonstrate.

🎸 "Oh I don't know about that Gracie," Van chuckles. "There's much bigger stars here, Arctic Monkeys are headlining tonight and they're massive! I saw Alex Turner earlier... he was standing right next to me and I almost lost my shi......"

🎸 Van cuts off abruptly as you glare pointedly at him, quickly rephrasing his sentence. "Uhhh... I nearly lost my cool, that's it... cool!"

🎸 Leo reaches over from your arms, plucking off his sunglasses and placing them on Van's face. "Daddy cool, Daddy cool!" He giggles, clapping his hands.

🎸 Van's hyper as he takes you all on a tour of the artists' area back stage, and you try not to appear starstruck as you get introduced to some of your favourite bands.

🎸 "I'm guessing I don't need to tell you who these guys are!" Van says as you all enter the hospitality tent and you feel your heart thumping in excitement as you come face to face with Eli, Rob, Josh and Ryan. "This is my missus Y/N, she's got your records on all the time, reckon she's a bigger fan than Catfish!"

🎸 You get a hug from all the Inhaler boys, your cheeks flaming scarlet as Grace loudly announces "Mummy, isn't that the man that you've been looking at pictures of on your phone?" whilst pointing straight at Eli.

🎸 Josh takes a shine to the kids, producing a pink cowboy hat with sequin trim which he places carefully on Grace's head. "Don't tell Eli I've given you that, it's his but I think it looks much better on you!"

🎸 Grace is over the moon with her new hat. "I'm never taking it off... ever! Not even when I go to bed!"

🎸 Van pronounces her the Queen of Reading festival and Rob and Ryan devise some silly coronation ceremony to 'crown' her. She's delighted with all the attention.

🎸 "Yer not gonna trade me in for a younger model, are ya?" Van sniggers as you step away from the Inhaler boys in search of some lunch. "I don't think it's me you need to worry about!" You laugh as you realise Grace isn't moving away with you and you turn around to see her tugging on Josh's jacket, not wanting to leave him.

🎸 Van has a meltdown when he spots Alex Turner again across the other side of the hospitality tent. "It's mad ain't it? He's just standing there eating chicken like a normal person!"

🎸 "He is a normal person!" You laugh, but Van's having none of it. "He's a genius! He bloody wrote Cornerstone!" You love the way he still gets starstruck when he comes face to face with one of his idols despite his own level of fame. His goofy 'uncool-ness' is one of the most endearing things about him.

🎸 Van's nervous about getting hassled by fans and would rather stay in the artist's area until Catfish's set but Grace begs her dad to come and watch Inhaler who are due to play in fifteen minutes. "Daddy you've got to come, you're way taller than mummy and I want to go on your shoulders.... I'll have a much better view... PLEASE!"

🎸 You're wary that a tantrum might be brewing but luckily Van relents when Larry turns up in a golf buggy to transport you all over to the main stage. "Thought we could travel in style!" He grins.

🎸 Van's in awe. "Ahh mate where did ya get that from? Bet ya nicked it off security didn't ya? What a legend!"

🎸 The kids immediately burst into cries of "Uncle Larry you're the best!" which is their usual response to seeing him. You all climb on to the hijacked buggy and you have to close your eyes most of the way as Larry swerves through the crowds, almost taking out a group of festival goers with his reckless driving. Only Larry could make travelling in a golf buggy a risky venture.

🎸 The Inhaler boys put on an amazing show and you're having the absolute best time dancing and laughing with your family. Leo is up on your shoulders and Grace is perched on Van's and you and your daughter are screaming out the lyrics at the tops of your lungs.

🎸 "Hold on a minute," Van shouts over the music, pretending to look dismayed. "How come I never hear you singing my music like that Gracie?"

🎸 Grace shakes her head, giggling. "Because your music's full of naughty words and mummy would tell me off if she heard me singing them!"

🎸 By the time the band are ready to go on stage everyone's excitement has reached monumental levels, especially Van who's so full of energy he looks like he's going to pop if he doesn't get out there soon. You've missed seeing him performing, before the kids came along you were always side of stage for shows.

🎸 You make sure the kids' ear defenders are in place just in time for Helter Skelter to blare out and it's a good job as the music's so loud you can feel the bass thrumming through you. Bob, Bondy and Benji give the kids high fives as they walk past and Van gives everyone a big hug and a kiss.

🎸 The crowd erupt into deafening screams, whistles and cheers as the lads emerge on to stage and your heart swells with pride. Even though they've not quite made it to the headline slot yet you know they'll make it one day. You recall watching them play the BBC Introducing Stage back in 2013 when you and Van had just started dating. Now there's tens of thousands of people out there all eager to see them play.

🎸 Leo's squirming around in your arms chanting "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" You have to hold on to him tight or you know he'll be making a break for it and toddling on to stage. Luckily Larry is there next to you to help distract him.

🎸 Grace is having the time of her life, shouting out the lyrics and playing air guitar. She's obviously been watching Van's performances closely as she's got his stage movements down perfectly.

🎸 The boys are playing a blinding set but you can't help worry that Van might lose his focus as he glances over at you regularly throughout. He only messes up the lyrics once during Hourglass but the fans are there to fill in for him and he beams over at you with a look of pure happiness. Hearing the fans singing his lyrics so passionately gets him every time.

🎸 You're a little overcome with emotion yourself, a stray tear escaping which Grace doesn't miss. "Why are you crying mummy, I thought you loved this song?" She throws her arms around your waist, hugging you tightly.

🎸 "That's why I'm crying sweetie," you tell her, stooping down to plant a kiss on her head. "Me and your dad wrote the lyrics together when he was touring a lot and I was missing him. It just reminds me of those days."

🎸 All in all the lads pull off a pretty seamless performance, dropping an atmospheric transition from Glasgow to Rango just as the sun starts to dip below the horizon. The fans are euphoric, the band haven't played Glasgow outside of Scotland in forever.

🎸 By the time the opening bars to Cocoon ring out Leo's fast asleep in his buggy but Grace is still going strong. "Forget it if they talk!" She cries out with gusto and you're thankful for the clean radio edit of her favourite song.

🎸 You and Van had argued many a time about whether Grace should be allowed to swear when singing his songs, Van's stance being that it would show her the importance of only using bad language at appropriate times as she grew up. You weren't happy with his controversial suggestion though. "Van... she's only five... no way!"

🎸 "Thank you Reading, we are Catfish and the Bottlemen, it's been an absolute pleasure!" Van shouts out his farewell line and you're expecting him to turn and walk off stage with the rest of the band but he lingers there, huge grin on his face as he looks over at you.

🎸 "She's probably gonna kill me for saying this but there's a few very special people here to watch the show tonight, Y/N, Grace and Leo!" You stand there in shock, frozen to the spot. This is unprecedented. You look out across the sea of faces in the crowd who are all cheering and going crazy, craning their necks to catch sight of the three people who Van dedicated the band's most recent album to.

🎸 You shrink into the shadows, overcome with embarrassment. Van's right... you are gonna kill him!

🎸 Before you even know what's happening Grace is slipping out from her spot between you and Larry and running on to the stage, arms held out wide as she barrels towards her dad who scoops her up into his arms.

🎸 The collective "AWWWWW!" from the crowd is deafening. A group of girls at the barrier are in floods of tears, recording the touching moment on their phones. Van looks fit to burst with pride as your eyes lock and you think you've just fallen in love with him a little more. Maybe you can forgive him after all.

🎸 Unfortunately Van's momentary lapse in concentration gives Grace the opportunity to grab hold of the microphone. Most kids would probably be overwhelmed at being on stage in front of such a mammoth audience but not your daughter who's inherited an over-confident and wilful streak a mile wide from her dad.

🎸 "Fuck it if they talk!" She croons into the mic, her note-perfect angelic voice ringing out across the stunned crowd. Van's jaw goes slack in shock as he snatches the mic out of her hands and quickly scuttles off stage with her in tow. The fans are going absolutely wild. They didn't even scream this loud when the band first emerged.

🎸 "Shit... am so sorry love, I wasn't expecting that to happen!" He blurts, looking at you sheepishly. Grace is grinning like a Cheshire Cat and the rest of the band are bent over double in fits of laughter. You note Bondy giving your daughter a surreptitious thumbs up.

🎸 It's quite obvious that Van thinks you'll be incensed but you actually think it's hilarious now the shock's fading away. You still manage to glare daggers at him for a few moments just to make him sweat before you break into laughter.

🎸 The next day your daughter's stage debut has gone viral and has practically overshadowed the band's phenomenal performance. It's possible that Catfish's already huge fanbase might have doubled overnight.

🎸 Van's overjoyed. "What did I tell ya love? I always said she had star quality. Takes after her dad ya know!"

Fans are remembering The Vivienne's most iconic moments

RuPaul’s Drag Race fans are celebrating The Vivienne by highlighting some of her most iconic moments – and there’s a lot of them – after her tragic death.

The drag superstar’s manager confirmed the “immensely sad” news on Monday (AEST) that Drag Race UK’s inaugural winner had away. They were just 32 years old.

The Vivienne won the first series of Drag Race UK in 2019. The performer went on to later appear in the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars in 2022.

After Viv’s death, tributes flooded in from the Drag Race community and fans across the world, including Michelle Visage and Aussies Courtney Act and Rhys Nicholson.

To remember The Vivienne and celebrate the drag queen’s career, fans are sharing some of Viv’s funniest and most iconic career moments from Drag Race and beyond.

Those moments include her hilarious Trump impression on Snatch Game – which Viv brought to Australia on tour just six months ago – and her All Stars 7 roast.

Another classic moment was The Vivienne, as Headmistress Nutmeg, making RuPaul laugh so hard he disrupted filming of Santa’s School for Girls during All Stars 7.

Outside of Drag Race, fans are also rewatching Viv’s hilarious YouTube videos with Drag Race sister Monét X Change for Netflix.

In one, the drag duo trained to be sex therapists and in another they took etiquette classes.

Viv’s manager Simon Jones announced The Vivienne, a.ka. James Lee Williams, had passed away.

“James was an incredibly loved, warm-hearted and amazing person,” Simon said.

“Their talent was immense and the light they brought to every room was astonishing. No one has ever made me laugh in my life as much as Viv did. Their comic genius and quick wit was like no other.”

Simon said The Vivienne’s career was “only just beginning” with recent roles in musical theatre over in the UK.

“In musical theatre Viv had found a space and career they loved, excelled and thrived in,” he said.
