I am literally so baffled by how so many people think the Viktor/Jayce separation in Arcane S2 was:
1. Rushed
2. Deserved, because Jayce ignored Viktor’s wishes and that’s what Viktor was reacting to
3. A choice Viktor was making, literally at all
Let’s go through these one at a time but they’re all related.
1. Yes it’s rushed. That’s because of time constraints per episode, sure, but forget that for a second. Viktor getting out of his goo cocoon and immediately leaving while still STARK NAKED is weird. It’s very weird. It’s meant to be a five alarm fire, red klaxons blaring, levels of really fucking WEIRD. The guy is LITERALLY NAKED he just walks out, barefoot, into the Undercity.
It’s weird and it’s meant to seem weird and indeed, inhuman, because that is not Viktor. Those are not Viktor’s choices. That is not who Viktor is. And the fact it is so rushed is part of the warnings, and meant to show us just how much something is very very wrong.
2. Tying into Point 1, if this was a real disagreement between Jayce and Viktor as we knew them through S1, Viktor would have stopped to get some damn trousers and shoes. I know it sounds like I’m joking but legitimately, there is no (or very little) conscious human thought going through Viktor’s head in that scene because a human being choosing to leave their partner of years over legitimate disagreements would have stopped to get fucking dressed before they left. That is not Viktor.
And to briefly launch into a defense of Jayce, he has spent literal years with Viktor doing science to address Viktor’s failing health. He knew about Viktor’s fear of dying. They’d both dedicated themselves to hextech in the hopes it would better people’s lives but the more selfish goal at the heart of that research for both of them was that it would save Viktor’s life.
Viktor only told Jayce one (1) time to destroy the hexcore and he didn’t explain why at all. Jayce didn’t know about the self experimentation. He didn’t know about Skye’s death because Viktor never told him.
Jayce spent years working on a cure for Viktor and in a moment of blind panic used their research to save his loved one’s life based on what 99% of his interactions with Viktor with one (1) outlier would have told him that this is what Viktor would have wanted, which was to live, and using their research to make sure he lives has always not only been on the table, it’s literally been the main focus of their overarching research goals minus one weird and unexplained thing Viktor said once while a zillion other things were going on in Jayce’s life.
Jayce using their research to save Viktor wasn’t a conscious defiance of Viktor’s wishes, it’s literally what 99.99% of Viktor’s wishes that Jayce knew about would have pointed towards. He was as far as he knew enacting Viktor’s wishes, the wishes Viktor had for years upon years. Without knowing about Sky, Viktor’s one request to destroy the hexcore was a weird and out of character request that had no explanation. It didn’t hold up when compared to everything else Jayce has ever known and experienced with Viktor.
3. Whew, anyway, the bigger point is that Viktor is a Hexcore puppet at this point so it doesn’t even matter if he had legitimate grievance against Jayce. He’s not leaving because of grievances, legitimate or otherwise. Viktor would never leave Jayce like that (or while STARK NAKED).
Literally in one of the last scenes we got that gave us a glimpse of Viktor’s inner life and motivations, he told Singed that Jayce would understand and stay by his side no matter his choices or transformations.
Singed is skeptical. But Viktor WAS RIGHT. Jayce didn’t even blink, didn’t hesitate at all to hug him after he was transformed so drastically. But my point is: real Viktor was actively worried about losing Jayce. Real Viktor would not take off like that.
And in one last defense of Jayce, I think the reason he just lets Viktor go there is that he has always respected Viktor’s autonomy.
Jayce notes in S1 that Viktor would often disappear without warning. He never tried to control Viktor’s movements. That’s what makes Jayce yelling at him for going to the Undercity so shocking to both of them in S1.
Jayce is also traumatized and shell shocked himself when Viktor leaves. He’s not prepared and he doesn’t argue. He doesn’t do what he probably should which is prevent Viktor from leaving (literally naked and barefoot!) because it doesn’t occur to him to control Viktor’s movements but also because he’s in shock.
But he really should because again, that’s not Viktor. That’s not Viktor making a conscious choice, that is another power and impulse puppeting what is left of Viktor, using his tenuous connections to his identity like his guilt over Sky and his/his + Sky’s overarching desire to help people in the Undercity.
It has nothing to do with Jayce. Jayce’s choices are not why Viktor is leaving. And the real Viktor would never leave Jayce under such abrupt and INHUMAN circumstances.
We are meant to be as alarmed and confused as Jayce was. It is a part of a pile of evidence that something is very wrong with Viktor and indeed, the Viktor we knew is not the one in charge of his actions right now. How much of him is even left in there is what remains to be seen, and if who he was can ever come back.

📃 So Madoka Magica is anime that is mainly a show but does have a movie (and a new movie in the making). The basic plot revolves around Madoka and her struggling to decide whether or not she should become a magical girl as her friends who are or become magical girls are all struggling with the duties being a magical girl has. That summary doesn't do it a justice but it's the best I got lol
📌 Netflix recommended it to me, and I was on a Cardcaptor Sakura hyperfixation, so I thought I'd try it, not realizing what I was getting into lol
✨️ The plot, the characters, and the character designs! The artistry behind this show is fantastic in every aspect, and it really gets my creative juices flowing!
🎥 Literally any transformation sequence! Each one is so unique and visually stunning!
🎶
💕 MAMI TOMOE!!! She's so cool and pretty! Her character was written incredibly, and her design is gorgeous! She's just such a likable character 💛
💔 Probably Nagisa Momoe only in comparison to the other girls. I just think her character design has too much going on, but it makes sense why her design is the way it is if you know her character. It's just personality, not my favorite, but it isn't bad by any means.
🏳️‍🌈 Not really.
🍀 Mami Tomoe! She's literally one of my fictional caregivers 💛
💎 In his reaction to the Madoka Magica Rebellion movie, Danny Motta accurately predicts the dopple system, which is introduced in Magia Record, which he hasn't watched yet.
💢 The transformations in the old Magia Record mobile game has a lot of the girls naked. They are minors. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable, and I hope they steer away from that in the new mobile game they're making. Also, in the main Madoka Magica show, they do have naked little girls in the intro and in a scene in the last episode. Again, makes very much uncomfortable.
media hyperfixation ask game!
this can also be applied to special interests! if you have multiple, put them in the tags so people who send asks can specify which hyperfixation/spin they’re asking about. 📃 what is the plot of your hyperfixation? and is it a movie, game, show, etc? 📌 how did you find your hyperfixation? ✨ what draws you towards your hyperfixation? what is interesting about it? 🎥 do you have any favorite scenes from your hyperfixation? 🎶 if your hyperfixation has songs/an ost, what is your favorite song from it? 💕 tell us about one of your favorite characters and why you like them! 💔 tell us about one of your LEAST favorite characters and why you dislike them. 🏳‍🌈 do you have any headcanons (lgbt, race, neuro, etc) that are important to you? 🍀 do you have any kins or comfort characters from your hyperfixation? 💎 are there any fun facts or trivia that you would like to share? 💢 what do you NOT like about your hyperfixation? is there something you would want to change about it?

Ideas for character arcs that are not the emotional equivalent of oatmeal left on the counter for five days:
Eddie falling out w/ his mother. threatening to cut her off. The scene is blocked exactly like the one when they were sitting in their living room during Eddie Begins but this time Eddie in his new epiphany abt his self worth gets to be like "I want him (Chris) to have a full life knowing he's loved and supported I don't want you to drag him down like you dragged me down with you." OOH LEAVE HER COOKED EDDIE.
Hen gets shot in the middle of nowhere and there are flashbacks to her life growing up as she has to keep herself alive. Bonus points if we get some kind of reference to how she'd always held people at arm's length bc they end up disappointing you (her mom, dad, Eva, etc.) but she realized you can't survive alone that people save people and you just have to find the right people, at the exact moment Karen finds her or something
Chim's father dies and we get Han Brothers bottle episode as they travel to the funeral and further dichotomize their lives especially with chim now being potential father of two. Been asking for this for literal years.
Bobby's been thru enough. I still think he should open a food truck tho.
Buck goes reverse OBX and kills his dad. Lol jk (unless???👀) okay for real tho I wouldn't be mad about like a plotline with Buck and Maddie getting caught up in or investigating some kind of case that parallels their life growing up. and maybe we get some sibling tension (but this time more anger from Maddie about it)
Athena.....girl just quit ur job lmfao.
We said it before and I also think it would pack an even bigger punch with the main kids being older but, an episode all about the firefam kids and how they view life and death and their priorities etc. thru the lense of being in a first responder family where their parents are constantly in danger/have almost died
There are so many actual good ideas out there tim is just looking to the wrong places lol

It’s funny to me that Tim Drake shares all the traits of a toxic ex-boyfriend.
Stalker tendencies? Tim spent years keeping tabs on and stockpiling an inordinate amount of information on Bruce Wayne.
Doesn’t know when “no” means “no”? When Bruce declined Tim’s offer to be Robin, because he didn’t feel emotionally stable enough for that commitment, Tim straight up ignored him and did it anyway.
Keeps trying to get back with you even though you’ve moved on? He literally cloned his dead boyfriend. Enough said.
Always overreacts? When Bruce got lost in the time stream, instead of just waiting for Batman to do his thing like a normal person, Tim decided to go on a extremely perilous mission across the globe even after everyone told him to maybe calm the fuck down.
Is always the source of drama? Tim literally cannot stop himself from fucking with Ra’s al Guhl, it’s like one of his main character traits.
Lies about things, and may be in trouble with the law? Need I remind of the fact that Tim forged government documents in order to make it appear that he had an uncle? No?
But, yes. You get it.

Aight, Lana's turn.
1. Colorful things.
2. I can't find any child character with a speech impediment, so I settled for Marcella from Raggedy Ann and Andy.
3. Lana is kind of a mix but, she's main outdoor person.
4. Scripting and making lore.
5. She always dreamt of being a director! And now.. she kind of is..? But, she's more of a scripture and story writer :P
6. Her scars, once she was so insecure about them, she went into a Sephora and stole a foundation as an attempt to cover up her scars.
A bit of explanation on the scars : She got all those scars from her father, no, her father wasn't abusive he was possessed by a demon and got mind-controled to hurt the only kid he had left.
7. Every other part of her body <3
8. Horror stories and kids' books, especially Beetlejuice!
9. School books.
10. She really loves Epic the Musical, and her fav kind of music is pop!
11. Lana's not really the type of girl to fall in love, but she does have her crush on best friend, Mateo!
12. She only gets B's, in 1st grade she was know as "B girl".
13. In a beautiful enchanted forest.
14. Idk, Lana is too naive and oblivious to be embarrassed.
15. (TW⚠️ sensitive topic) Before any of her friends died or moved away, she had : Petunia, Costina, and Mateo. Petunia and Mateo ended up dying, Petunia because of Cancer and Mateo because of his abusive dad. As for Costina, she and her family had to unfortunately move back to Romania.. Hence, why Lana wears the red, green, and yellow bracelets, but Lana didn't lose all her friends. She still had her great friend, Wilbur Darling.
16. Lana love love, love, love, LOVES her parents, especially her mama, but she doesn't mind spending time with her papa too. As opposed to LaLa, Lana is more of a mommy's girl to s literally degree.
17. LaLa is her brother/sister and her trusty assistant, she loves her to bits!
18. Witnessing her uncle drown her other older sister (not LaLa)
19. (TW⚠️ sensitive topic) Her mother's death, her father's possession, her eldest sister leaving, witnessing her other older sister's death, the racism from her step-grandma.
20. Any memory that was happy.
21. Drawing, painting, playing with dolls, watching Winx, and Miraculous LadyBug, playing pretend with her step-siblings, playing with her sister.
22. Refusing to accept all her trauma and move on and instead make a show about it.
23. Her biggest flaw is that she's too naive and innocent, as for her strength she doesn't know it but she's really smart.
24. Way worse than how LaLa handles death, Lana was the one who saw her mom's dead corpse next to the crime scene, and absolutely she didn't take so kindly.. That's the reason she made Lesley.. To represent her mother.. and Roy as her father.
26. Hates gum for some reason and green.
25. Her fav color is purple, and her fav food is human hands because she's a picky cannibal as opposed to her sister as for normal food she likes cookies :3
27. Gemini :3
28. Lana loves both, but, as Caseoh once said, "KITTTTYYYYUHHHHH!!!"
29. She never had a first kiss because only 10-
30. Since she still a child who still loves fairytales, of course she does.

I think a lot of the mismag people who don’t like Brennan’s “Main Character Energy” forget that the system they’re playing with literally has a “Chosen One” in the building of the game. You can not really vibe with his character and be disappointed/more interested in the other characters, but from what he has said in behind the scenes and Adventuring Party stuff, Brennan loves DnD and rarely has a chance to be a player instead of a DM.
I just really hate seeing people punish a storyteller for wanting to tell a story.

as a nalu stan through and through its really starting to piss me off now that literally every single couple is getting development BUT nalu.
every single ship is getting constant scenes to show they either are already together, gajevy, and how theyre thriving. or how other ships, jerza and gruvia, are starting to realise their feelings and are slowly becoming more than friends.
nalu has for sure been the ship the fandom has been obsessed with the longest, and on top of that its also one of if not the most desired ship in the entire show, so why is it that we’re living off of small looks between eachother or one saying the others name or vise versa. i understand natsu and lucy are the two characters that are the most dense with their feelings and love in general. but like…cmon.
surely its about time the two of them start to understand how they feel. even just slightly. we havent had any real nalu moments since what? like the beginning of the 100 yrs quest with the hug after natsu loses control.
one of the main reasons i love ft so much is FOR nalu and their relationship. my patience is really starting to grow thinner and thinner every time a new chapter is released or a new arc is finished and every other couple has development while nalu has none.
its clear hiro wants nalu to be his final send off, but can he atleast not begin their development sooner than later. i cant express how disappointed me and half of the nalu fandom will be if they both dont come together until the final chapter EVER of the series while every other couple has moments upon moments under their belt to celebrate once the show is done. while we nalu fans have countless of moments from the main show, and about? 3? from the spin off.
idk i hope im not the only one starting to get really fed up, im happy for jerza, gruvia and even gajevy shippers for seeing their couples finally come together. im a hard gajevy and gruvia shipper myself, it just sucks that atm im having to pretty much survive on only gajevy and gruvia and have to p much act like nalu doesnt exist because..theres literally nothing to give us hope anymore.
not to mention the nalu fandom is DYING out because of this, theres less fanfic, less fanart, less headcannons, less everything because theres nothing for us to hope about anymore. trust me i’ll be heartbroken if nalu doesnt end up becoming real. but its hard to believe it is when hiro is giving little to no attention to them anymore.
i hope im not the only one thinking like this because it realllly sucks🤷‍♀️

to every single arcane fan on the planet who is pissed at caitlyn for her actions in s2 act 1, please listen to me:
you are right to be pissed, that’s kind of the point, but hating her means you have to hate… like every other character. grief is a powerful factor in almost all of arcane and the motives of every character are based in something they’ve lost: whether it’s family, ideals, reputation, land, etc, they’re all dealing with loss and that causes them to act in morally-challenging ways. because that’s what grief does. a loss unthinkable causes actions unthinkable.
caitlyn joins the grief club a bit later than your other main characters, jinx and vi. but unlike jinx and vi, we actually see cait’s actions fresh off the block. the time cuts in act 1 only showed the clean-cut effects of losing their parents on the bridge, and then the new jinx and vi that occurred after the five (?) year time-skip after the explosion in the warehouse. you don’t see them when they’re full of raw grief and terror and illogical actions. you don’t see how severely vi was beaten in prison, how she must’ve lashed out in response to being taken away from her sister, how she continuously made the situation worse for herself because she felt like she deserved it, that she should’ve fought harder, been a better leader and a better sister. we don’t see jinx’s mental breakdowns afterwards, we don’t see how silco grooms her, how he uses her for his literal and emotional goals, how she’s shattered and how she pushes people away because of her own mistakes… but we’re seeing it with caitlyn, we’re seeing the rawness that comes with all of it, and we’re seeing how that impacts the narrative and other characters. people who haven’t grieved don’t seem to understand that it is like containing a storm, and you cannot do it by yourself, all of the time, and sometimes it gets out to other people if they press hard enough.
arcane is very cyclical in the way that all characters follow the same path, over and over again. caitlyn and jinx are following narrative paths, especially when you compare ambessa to silco. i do wonder if jinx knows that silco stabbed vander, that he was the one who ruined everything, hired the goons to jump them and scared her into dropping their haul from jayce’s workshop, etc. i wonder if the reason she continues to spiral is because she doesn’t know, and if caitlyn will get the same treatment with ambessa’s betrayals and her hand in the attack on the memorial.
whatever the case, you cannot defend jinx and hate caitlyn. they are not the same, i understand, but they are both products of massive grief that they blame themselves heavily for.
back to the idea of grief being a storm, because the most common gripe i see with caitlyn is how she promised vi she wouldn’t change, and then changed within a day. this isn’t… this is not an unreasonable course of action from caitlyn, given the situation and how she’s feeling. she is like… at most, a couple weeks out after her mother’s death. it is still an incredibly fresh wound, and she is sort of hinging her entire self-worth and identity on her ability to make the shot that resolves this feeling inside of her. she doesn’t get to make that shot, and fresh off of that miss, that realization that the fight is going to be prolonged and that vi is not as unattached to jinx as she says she is…
both of them made strange promises in that tunnel that they didn’t quite keep. how can you blame vi or caitlyn for picking their family over the girl they met less than a month ago? isha was a wildcard in that fight, but they both knew that caitlyn wouldn’t actually miss the shot. vi didn’t flinch when caitlyn shot 2 inches behind her, vi didn’t flinch when cait shot the gun out of isha’s hand, or the finger from jinx’s, etc, etc. it wasn’t about missing, it was the realization for vi that she can’t just cut herself off from her sister (especially when there’s signs that powder is still in there), that it is much easier said than done. and for cait, it was the realization that vi is not with her. that vi never changed.
that’s kind of the issue. vi didn’t want caitlyn to change, but caitlyn wanted vi to change, and they’re both in situations that demand change and stagnancy, respectively. see what i’m saying? does any of this make sense?

Komaeda and Dementia: Part 1 of 5: Introduction and Overview of FTD
Tumblr media
Hi everyone!
I’m an aspiring Komaedologist with an interest in dementia. I often see people doubting Komaeda’s stated diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, since it presents differently in him than in the common portrayal of dementia in the media. While his portrayal may not be completely accurate, there is a lot of truth to it, and there are many symptoms visible in-game. I wanted to share a few posts about dementia symptoms that we do see canonically in Komaeda’s portrayals in SDR2 and DR:AE, and share some information regarding his specific diagnosis as opposed to Alzheimers, for example.
I work with people living with dementia as a recreation worker. This means that I see them living their daily lives, and know about difficulties they might have with recreational or day to day activities. There are a lot of observations that I might make that can’t be backed up scientifically yet, but do make sense in a practical way. Everyone with dementia is different, and since I work with seniors for the most part, some observations won’t transfer onto Komaeda. However, I’ll do my best to back up whatever I can with sources.
This post is just for fun and to give people ideas. It means a lot to me to see a fascinating and endearing character like Komaeda portrayed with dementia, since it is a sad and terminal disease, and I usually see it end badly in my job, so I hope to give people ideas on how to portray it, or just to notice things in a different way they might not have before!
My main sources for this post and the following ones include “Dementia Diaries,” which is a really cool project where people with dementia talk about their experiences, National Institute on Aging, Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s Society, and my own work experience. I plan on doing more posts about specific symptoms that we see in Komaeda later, but I would be happy to hear from other people who have dementia knowledge, or to answer any questions that I can.
For the most part, I'm only going to be talking about SDR2 and a little bit of DR:AE. I haven't finished watching the anime yet and have not read any of the manga. If anyone has ideas from any of those sources, I would love to hear about them!
Overview of FTD: Which Variant does Komaeda Have?
Tumblr media
There are two major forms of frontotemporal dementia. The first, which Komaeda likely has, is the behavioural variant (BvFTD), which is also the most likely for young people to develop. This variant of FTD mainly affects behaviour, empathy, judgement, and planning.
Komaeda is less likely to have the other variant of FTD, primary progressive aphasia. This form of FTD mainly affects language skills, including speech and comprehension.
Komaeda doesn’t seem to have very much trouble with understanding the concrete content of what people say to him, but he does occasionally seem to have trouble fully comprehending hidden meanings behind statements (for example, taking statements literally rather than as sarcastic). To me though, this is less connected to him not being able to understand the words or content of statements, and more not picking up on the emotions hidden in the statements (which I’ll address more in the behavior post). He does seem to have some trouble with word-finding in the Japanese version of the game, but again, it doesn't inhibit his ability to express himself given enough time to speak.
Another thing to note about FTD is that, in its early stages, it mainly affects behaviour and language processing, as stated above, rather than memory. In later stages, memory does start to be affected as well, but it’s different from Alzheimers (probably the most well-known form of dementia) in that memory loss isn’t the main symptom.
FTD’s prognosis is about 6-8 years. Komaeda states in his fifth free time event that his life expectancy is between half a year and one year. However, he is also referring to his lymphoma diagnosis, meaning he expected to die from a combination of both illnesses within that time frame. In SDR2, Komaeda is probably in the early to middle stages of FTD, since he was diagnosed right before entering Hope’s Peak, and was a Remnant of Despair for some time without treatment, so while we can see evidence of memory issues (which I will address in another post), it’s something he’s able to cope with and isn’t a debilitating symptom yet.
One more observation: while dementia as a whole is usually seen in elderly people, Komaeda’s specific frontotemporal dementia diagnosis has an earlier age of onset, usually between ages 40-65, and is rarely seen in elderly people. Even though being diagnosed in high school seems unlikely, it is not impossible. According to Alzheimer Society Canada, early-onset or young-onset dementia (between ages 18 and 65) accounts for 2-8% of all dementia cases.
Thank you for reading! I plan on making five posts total. The other post topics will be Outward Behaviour, Judgement/Thought Processes, Other Symptoms, and Writing Ideas.

One thing I can never understand is the hatred Bakugou feels towards Izuku, like what did Izuku do to him? We know that the way his relationship with Izuku is going is entirely his fault. To make matters worse, the fandom keeps making jokes about it, as if the abuse and mistreatment that Bakugou does to Izuku is funny (I'm tired of this fandom that so despises the protagonist of its own story). It would make more sense if Izuku felt anger towards what Bakugou did to him, but as we know, Horikoshi never wants to give his favorite character a bad image.
I wouldn't mind the fandom making light of these things in some amounts if they were able to acknowledge the in-universe ramifications of them.
Izuku gets so much hate for being passive and a crybaby. Besties, why the fuck do you think Izuku is passive? Could it possibly be because he's been the victim of literal hate crimes for over a decade? Could it be the amount of times he's been called worthless? Could it be the physical and verbal abuse he endured for years? Could it be the refusal of the narrative to acknowledge any of his negative feelings in order to make your favorite look better?
Almost every complaint people have about Izuku only exists because of Bakugou's abuse.
Bakugou stans are such hypocrites. He's been given every narrative advantage, every bit of grace by the other characters, and every ounce of toleration despite his horrible personality. But that's fine, right? It's fine when the narrative is going out of its way to prop his character. The minute it does any of that for Izuku, he's a Gary Stu. Fuck outta here.
I've never seen a main character get treated terribly by the fans and the author

I'm really sad that the show is ending, but like, at the same time, I'm kind of glad it is ?
Obviously I'd be happy if we got a spin-off with Carlos and TK (even if TK becomes more of a background character), but I just worry that they would eventually end up breaking them up. They already broke up another queer couple with tons of fan support on og 9-1-1, who's to say they won't do the same to Tarlos?
I have empathy for people who loved Buck and Tommy and are sad this week to lose them but Tarlos is just a completely different situation. They have been endgame since literally the first episode, neither of them have ever been with anyone else in the run of the show unlike Buck who has had multiple temporary love interests over the seasons (arguably it’s canon compliant that Carlos has literally never been with anyone else, he’s never once even alluded to anyone else he’s dated), they’re both main characters on this show which again is different from the situation on OG, they’ve both been canon queer right from the start, they are married now. This show was built around two couples and Tarlos is one of them. It’s just not the same. Tarlos wouldn’t break up if this show went another 10 seasons, I’m sure of it.

I've gotten asks before why I don't like Daemrya or why I don't reblog stuff about them as I'm a Daemon lover and I sine I just saw a post saying you can't love Daemon without loving Daemyra I thought I'd explain my thoughts.
the main reason, I never felt it. It felt too forced to truly be real. it felt like the showrunners and writers were trying to make me like them together instead of letting me do that on my own which made me feel like hey didn't even feel it.
secondly, I have and always will see it as a political marriage. Do I think they care about each other? yes. Do I think they lust for each other? yes. But do I think they are in love? no. Rhaenyra literally had to dangle the crown an throne in front of Daemon for him to even agree to marry her.
and to the people saying "he slept with her the night of Laena's funeral." I say this. we know Daemon's way of mourning is fucking, fighting and drinking, its not sitting somewhere and crying. so to have Rhaenyra pretty much throw herself at him, why should he pay for a whore when she is so willing? now I'm not calling Rhaenyra a whore only stating what I think went through Daemon's mind.
third and final reason, I don't like Rhaenyra, never have never will, like seriously in the first episode I thought she was a ok character I didn't care about her and that has slowly turned into a hate. so why should I ship one of my favorite characters with one I hate? that doesn't make sense.
yet again, I never felt it, I never felt like they even really cared about each other more than what the other could give them let alone loved each other. so to me, that's not a power couple, that's not a couple I want to root for. so I don't root for them.
I do ship Alicent x Daemon and I definitely ship Laena x Daemon but other than that I don't like or care for other ships for him. I get the people who do like Daemyra I just don't get why they care so much that I don't.

A janitor/scientist bio-engineered a bunch of spiders, unleashed the spiders on an island, the spiders wiped out every living thing on the island, and then the dude renamed the now barren rock of an island after the spiders.
The one survivor of the genocide joined the CIA, was renamed "Survivor", and gets stronger the more pissed off at him you get.
Another janitor/scientist tried to science the Skeleton Orcs, gave them absurdly broken powers, and then got exiled for being a massive fuck-up. His name now means "Failure".
In the Skeleton Orcs species, the females are more aggressive. In the prominent Hobbit species, "female" refers to coding that makes one more passive. The main Skeleton Orc gang, who are males by their species rules, are never considered females to the Hobbit species despite the fact that they should be what the Hobbits define as "female".
Some of the janitor/scientists get flash-banged into blindness when they accidentally see Jesus disintegrate. They overcome this blindness by forcing brainwashed slaves to ride piggy-back on them and use telepathy to see out of the slaves' eyes. Two of the slaves are really into this, and after being unbrainwashed, one of those two throws a fit because she preferred the slave job.
There are multiple characters named after real people. One of those real people was the wife of the author.
There are two characters whose names are one letter apart, one of whom was made out of the other, but the similarities of their names is a coincidence.
There is one race of hobbits capable of being either sex. Despite that, the only blue one in the group is the only female.
The light-hobbits and their kin grow larger when standing in God's heart for no discernible reason. This happens to no one else except for one guy, which is explained in story into him just making himself bigger.
A character is killed and immediately replaced by an exact replica whose only stated name is that he is the replacement of the original guy. He's not a clone. He's a completely different guy who looks the exact same and has the same powers.
A guy repeatedly hypnotized his coworker until his coworker became mentally disabled.
A guy repeatedly lashed out at and physically disabled multiple of his coworkers, and they just kept putting up with his shit. They literally had entire rest of the planet to leave to, or multiple armies to use to gang up against him, and instead they all stayed in one place around him and ignored him.
While there is a system set in place to bring people back to life, one character was mauled so violently by sasquatch that it is impossible to revive him.
The lizard tiddy dominatrixes also have wigs and high-heels. They are capable of wearing masks that give superpowers, but would rather not because they are too vain to hide their faces.
Trying to kill yourself in front of your brainwashed friend is a surprisingly effective way of snapping him out of the brainwashing.
A hobbit broke into the CIA's bosses office and was rewarded with employment and a car with legs.
A guy capable of creating anything and who has the ability to teleport himself, other people, and large objects, had something stolen from his office by his janitor/scientist/bodyguard. He threw a tantrum about it and had the CIA murder everyone who knows where his house is, including their own staff, rather than the guy just building better security or moving his house somewhere else.
Cthulu traded bodies with some dude for a while. The above guy is capable of forcing them to swap back against Cthulu's will, yet somehow he still didn't even both considering a way to protect his own house other than whining the CIA into murdering a bunch of people.
A guy was supposed to be a doctor, but was so awful at it that he kept hiding his traumatized patients, and his home became the word for "hell".
Yaoi-Hands Sword-wielding Nerd Husband has an item that lets him open dimensional portals. He considers using it to drop kaijus on cities amusing.
One of the cities Nerd-Husband dropped a kaiju on was the brain of God. Despite dropping a kaiju on the brain of God, there is no mention of him facing any disciplinary actions for this, although he is punished harshly for selling himself as a bruiser to a gang for sentient drugs.
Nerd Husband later fell into a pool of sentient drugs and tripped out so hard he gained ethereal knowledge.
A hobbit has the ability to teleport by walking in slow-motion (granted the place he teleports to is in walking-access). Despite him and his ability being very prominent in the early story, the author of the books never was able to learn what was intended by this guy's power.
Two video games that introduce more lore fluidly to the story than most other media of that time are retconned out of canon.

Psssst. Can I maybe get something about Jaspn going to the movies for the first time? Either on a date with Leo or as a friend thing with all three of them?
Making it lost trio for now because in my head Leo and Jason always take forever to get their shit together and Jason having to wait that long for his first movie theater experience would be kind of sad. I may or may not sprinkle some valgrace in there tho 😌
I just know they spent literally forever trying to decide on a movie. Leo kept trying to push some movie from a franchise that he’s fixated on and requires a whole universe worth of knowledge to really enjoy insisting that it’s not that complicated and he can totally explain the lore of a bazillion shows and movies and/or make Jason watch all of those so he can still enjoy it (think Marvel or Star Wars or something). Piper vetoes that and suggests a horror movie (her main motivation on this is Jason and Leo are both cowards and she wants them to hold hands about it, and also she doesn’t really get how they’re scared of fictional monsters when they’ve literally faced worse, but whatever, lmao)
Jason kind of wants to see a romcom but he knows they’ll both tease the shit out of him for that so he doesn’t say it.
In the end he just picks something based on a title that sounds okay.
Piper gets chips and ice tea, Leo gets a huge bucket of popcorn that’s larger than his head and a soda. Jason gets a large water and asks cautiously if he can try popcorn without sugar or salt. Piper and Leo promptly say they’re both unfriending him. In the end he just grabs trail mix and Leo heaves this deep sigh and him and Piper spend the movie pestering Jason to try their snacks. Jason doesn’t dislike their choices necessarily but says he’ll stick to trail mix (Heroes of Juno Jason and his snack tendencies are canon to me now I’m sorry) and they’re both affronted.
The movie they see turns out to be a heist movie. They mostly have a good time but Jason does ask “isn’t that illegal” at least three times during the beginning until Piper kicks him in the leg and Leo tells him “don’t make me shut you up” (Leo blushes furiously because he meant, like, shut him up with tape or a hand over the mouth, not make out with him, but it definitely comes out like he meant making out and neither of them is able to look at the other for the rest of the movie)
Jason gets very attached to all of the characters and is extremely upset when one of them is captured. He also definitely doesn’t get that this is setting up a sequel and Piper and Leo have to comfort him about it for at least half an hour
Leo somehow finishes the whole bucket of popcorn before the movie is over and Piper and Jason just stare at him because what the fuck how
This becomes a semi-regular thing for them whenever they have the time. They take turns picking movies so everyone gets what they want eventually.

my biggest problem with hazbin hotel writing after everything
guys do you notice how badly vivzie doesn't want to directly mention the theme of morality?
its always there, it flashes everywhere but she chooses to walk on edges. the redemption, extermination, falling in hell, god we literally have hell vs heaven war with these themes. and after everything the question "is this the right thing to do?" just exists like small stream of wind.
never in the show charlie asks herself "is my redemption plan is right?" she should know that there are very bad people who can also badly hurt others because she is there for a long. but this knowledge never brings up and we have to accept the fact that charlie is just an infantile and too stupid to comprehend evilness despite also knowing what good means. its really weird how the princess of hell who should already know the hellish history and society acts like she for the first saw someone like valentino being evil. SHE DIDNT LIVE FOR LONG IN HEAVEN (what could explain the blindness towards evil nature), SHE LIVED FOR LONG IN HELL, FUCKING HELL. how after many years she cant deal with the evilness of her people and instead just believe in a power of friendship? WHERE SHE WAS SO SHELTERED TO GET THIS MINDSET IN THE END?
its very weird how every theme that is revelant in this show, is literally connected with defining good vs evil BUT vivzie never, never makes us think about that. we just should accept the writing telling us what happened is good or bad, or even worse, doesn't matter and it was just for funnies (like that rpe joke with Sir Pentious).
the reason why this morality thing got in my mind is that im afraid what season 2 brings to us. im afraid that they will never mention elephant in the room: possibly irredeemable people. and hearing another doubtful information makes me scared that viv goes to the route "actually, there is no evil people and it just fault of some metaphoric disease that makes people evil!". and im very afraid of this happening in the future because it seems to be that everyone just ignores the existence of Irredeemableness. like doing evil doesnt really matter and there is just winners/losers side of history.
for some reason Sir Pentious in the past got in hell because of him ignoring the situation. let me mention he is the first to be ascended of all sinners and this backstory makes him pitiful for a reason. of all backstories, they chose the most depressing one. where he is a shut-in who had no will to change the inevitable situation. bro do not tell me you didnt do this to make another point of "innocent sinners"
emily. if not for emily, i wouldn't writing this. she is the angel version of charlie who also promotes "sinners deserve redemption" but also ignores existence of serial killers, rpists and another kinds of "that evil" people. the same problem charlie has but i can understand it at least.
I am not scared for saying this. viv seems to be not mature enough to even explore the concept of her show if she is afraid of exploring complete monsters (like exploring undoubtable evil AND NOT MAKING IT CONTROVERSIAL LIKE WITH VALENTINO AND ANGEL) and just stays on the line "of pure good (every main character) and wrongful revenge (VVVs, Adam, Lute and other exorcists, not gonna be surprised of Lilith adding to this group)".
of all characters, i only feel sympathy for lute (and also sir pentious with how he was handled throughout the show). sera was just stupid and wanted bloodshed because of her special placement in an angelic hierarchy. i dont believe this bullshit of her caring about well-being of her people when she went with extermination as it was nothing. all she should have said is that there are very horrible people and hell is not worth of being a threat to her lovely power. well, they didn't go for this route for some reason. now sera got in wrong too and she got in the first group with everyone.
TELL ME
TELL ME WHY NO ONE STILL POINTS ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM AND WE JUST ACCEPT THAT HELL IS JUST MISUNDERSTOOD
This is why I only care about Lute now because she is the only who has brain to acknowledge that there's monsters in hell
im so done with this show bro

I think one of the things that helped me the most in the past few months to shift to my DR and not a parallel of my first reality is stitting down on movie night with my family…
And watching The Matrix.
Because while some plot points are kinda like the ‘shifting police’ from 2020 or some things make you think that there is just one other reality besides this one, there’s a lot of things closely connected to shifting.
For example, there is one moment(SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED THE MOVIE) where the main character— I forgot his name— has to go to an oracle and talk with them. Now, in there, once you become aware of what’s going on it’s essentially like you’re in a dream— you can shape it to your liking in an instant(so long as no one catches you, but I digress). But MC had trouble doing that stuff, up until he met a kid in the oracles apartment playing with a spoon and bending it and stuff.
That kid told him, and I quote, “There is no spoon.”
And boom, the guy suddenly unlocked godmode. He went badass and went on an awesome mission to save humanity.
So what’s the point of me telling you this? Because that’s what reality is. It’s what ‘the 3D’ is. There is no spoon. In fact, that ‘spoon’ can become a chair is you so will.
And I know this moment in the movie was when like 10 things clicked in my head, and literally next day I woke up to having shifted to a reality where suddenly that one teacher I despise has apparently been at home sick for the past three days.
Moral of this post is: There is no spoon unless you choose there to be one.
