Hidden Land, Unspoken Feelings

A short drabble taking place when the hero, partner, and Grovyle are traveling in the Hidden Land in PMD Sky. I debated posting this as this was just an indulgent piece for my inner child who had the biggest crush on Grovyle, but eh

"I thought that having allies would be easier but…There’s no point continuing together without trust. We’ll go our separate ways.” “I’m staying on the move. You two should get moving as soon as possible. Good luck.” “Now will you finally trust me?” “It’s time’s like this, when things are tough, that you have to be strong. Think for yourself, then act as you think is right!” “Watch out for Leafeon!” “Watch out for Houndoom!” “Watch out for Kadabra!” … “Are you alright? Don’t sacrifice your concentration.”

You tilt your head up to look at Grovyle. He’s peering around the corner of the hallway into the room ahead of your group of three. Darkness makes it impossible to see the contents of the room, and you had already been caught off guard by a Monster House on the first floor of this dungeon.

That was because you had lead everyone straight into the room without checking first. With a combination of your Dark Pulse, your partner Skitty’s Wide Slash, and Grovyle’s just outright strength, the enemy Pokemon were no deal, but you had not escaped without some scrapes for sure.

As you were all panting from the exertion of a sudden all-out brawl, Grovyle had placed his claw on your back, and you shivered from the scaly contact.

“I’ll take the lead from here.”

Though you wanted to protest your capabilities, you could not in the face of what just happened, so you had just nodded your assent. Which brings you to the current moment, watching Grovyle as he looked for the apparent signs that a Monster House was in the next room. His murmured encouragement was the only sound to be heard in the space between you and Grovyle, Skitty a pace behind you, watching your backs. You two brush tails softly, a silent reassurance that you are still there together.

You nod once, and then verbalize an affirmative sound as you realize that Grovyle is still looking ahead, and could not see your response. His eyes flit to your’s, and he tilts his head slightly to focus more on you.

“Come here and look.” He gestures with his head forwards to the room, and you pad forward until you can peer around the corner as well.

“Do you see that?” He asks in a neutral tone. Looking, you catch a glimpse of a few Gummis on the ground, and even a TM and a seed of some sort. You tell as much to Grovyle, and he shakes his head.

“That’s how you can tell there’s a Monster House.”

Your jaw drops, and you whip to look back at the room. There IS a lot of loot…and thinking back on it, there always is loot to be found in Monster Houses.

“I can’t believe we didn’t realize that sooner!” Your partner speaks, louder than your and Grovyle’s murmured tones.

Your future companion looks at Skitty, and nods, “Yeah. I’m sure the two of you would have realized at some point, but that’s how you can tell.”

He looks back to the trap room and continues, “The tricky part is how much you can peer into the room without setting off the Pokemon hiding there. You can’t avoid every room that has a Gummi or TM, but you don’t want to waltz into every room without caution!”

A pause settles over the three of you, the forest being unusually silent, as you ponder over the information. Eventually you speak to the silence, posing the question, do we go in or find another way around?

Grovyle levels an even gaze at you, somehow challenging and undemanding at the same time, and asks,

“What do you think?”

Somehow you know that no matter what your answer was, Grovyle wouldn’t judge you, and make things work out.

You look at your partner, and she is wearing a determined expression. “With my Doubleslap, I can deal with any Houndoom here!”

You feel a smile push at your face, and nod at Grovyle. Expression unchanging, he turns to face the room and wordlessly leads your group in.

As soon as Grovyle’s foot crosses the threshold into light, you watch as a dozen Pokemon leap from the bushes, Kirlia and Ninetales, the ground, Houndoom, fall from the ceiling, Alakazam and Vespiqueen. They’re all leering at you, sizing your group up as a threat, and your heart begins to pound behind your chest.

“Be careful!” Grovyle hisses, and then he’s off, dashing to your left at a Kirlia who was using Calm Mind. Better to take that threat out now rather than let her stockpile stat boosts, you have enough time to watch Grovyle’s arm glow an incandescent shade of viridian green and he elegantly spins with the power of his Leaf Blade, ending the move with a seamless slash against the Psychic type Pokemon, who collapses.

The move was deadly and efficient, and though you had already admired the beauty of it, you can’t help but do so again. At least until a Vespiqueen divebombs you, jaws alight with Bug Bite.

You dash backwards, dodging the move and attack the Beehive Pokemon with your head, pushing her back and creating space between the two of you. Skitty leaps from behind you and crosses the space in a single dash, landing a Fake Out attack on the Vespiqueen. She roars in anger, but Skitty already has flipped away, off to get another Pokemon.

In the meantime, you had taken the distraction to charge up an Ember attack, and you leap forward to cast the red-hot flames at the Vespiqueen, finally sending her down to the floor.

Your paws barely grace the forest floor before you dash off at the next enemy Pokemon you see, a Kadabra. As you dash towards it it slams it’s hands together, sending a Psywave your direction. Trying to correct your path you lean to the side, but the wave of energy catches your shoulder, causing you to stumble as you lost balance.

Without wasting a breath you roll to the side and feel, rather than see, the dirt fly up from a Psywave attack hitting the ground where you had just been.

Growling, you finish your roll by launching yourself from the ground the moment your paws were flat on it and charging up another fire attack. You see the Kadabra glare at you, and charge up in the now familiar color of Calm Mind,but you feel heat build up in your mouth and with a shake of your head, send a spinning Flamethrower at the Psychic type Pokemon.

You don’t even need to look to know that it’s down, and take a breather to check on your companions.

Skitty looks like she’s having the time of her life. Five Pokemon surround her, three of which are on the floor asleep thanks to her Sing attack. She’s currently on the back of a Houndoom, slamming down with the power of Zen Headbutt, and the other Pokemon on it’s feet, another Kadabra, is no match for a single Physical attack from Skitty. Her Normalize ability combined with a Power Band is just a terrifying combination. Based on her fierce grin, you know your partner feels the same. Satisfied she is fine, you cast a searching glance for a green lizard, and catch sight of Grovyle just in time to see him getting launched by an attack.

You catch sight of him just in time to watch as Grovyle is thrown into a tree marking the perimeter of the room, and thuds to the ground, though he’s awake, lifting his head and glaring at the perpetrating Houndoom. The Dark Pokemon is flanked by two more, and has fire flaking from it’s mouth, a Fire Fang charged at the ready.

You feel your heart leap into your mouth as you spring into action. Grovyle can handle himself, but he's flinching and surrounded on all sides by type-disadvantages. You twist your body mid-air, your Flamethrower attack spinning with you so that it hits all three of the Dark/Fire type Pokemon. But you can only watch as the attack is absorbed by their Flash Fire ability.

But you had also expected that, having dealt with that issue earlier, and the attack did it’s job of catching the Houndooms' attention, who turn to glare at you. A second one turns as well, but the third turns back and continues advancing on Grovyle, who is still cringing, his eyes narrowed to stay focused.

You let out a roar (as much as a Vulpix can) and as your paws barely skim the ground after your attack, you're immediately leaping the last bit of distance, landing with a skid on the peaty forest floor. Dark power is leaking from your body, and you let it loose in a Dark Pulse attack, hitting both Houndoom, who somehow were taken by surprise and cringe back.

But Dark Pulse isn’t very effective on the Dark/Fire types, and you brace yourself as the two Pokemon recover immediately and loom over you.

One slams a paw down and lunges forward with a Bite attack, snatching your shoulder. It shakes you around and throws you into the air. You correct your trajectory with a mini flip and recover to land on your feet, immediately dashing forward towards the Houndoom. You toss your head back and blow a Confuse Ray towards the Pokemon, watching it’s eyes glaze over with light. While that happens you feel your Flash Fire ability activate as the other Houndoom tries to send an Ember at you.

You give it the same Confuse Ray treatment as the other one, and look to check on Grovyle.

In the time you had taken to temporarily dispatch the two Houndoom, the third had clearly damaged Grovyle, who was sporting burns. He was on his feet now, but was holding one arm behind him and glaring at the Houndoom who was standing just at the right angle that a Leaf Blade or Quick Attack couldn’t hit, but an Ember from the Houndoom could hit him.

You repeat your earlier action and launch a Flamethrower to steal the Houndoom’s attention, and immediately follow up with a plain attack. Between Dark Pulse and your two Fire attack moves, you really had no good way to damage this Pokemon, which is why you normally left it up to the other two, but, you keep up a relentless barrage of attacks to try to keep the Houndoom on the ground.

It’s struggling, but it gets up and roars at you. You brace yourself but then a flash of green shoots past you and Grovyle has knocked the Houndoom out.

He’s wincing, but looks and nods at you, “Thanks, it just kept knocking me down cringing with Bite attacks.”

His compliment is short and succinct, but sincere and you have to hold yourself back from smiling at the praise. You nod at him, still aware of the looming danger, and as Grovyle’s gaze focuses to over your shoulder you charge up with Dark type energy again.

You turn around to see the remaining two Houndoom shake off their confusion and start to charge you two.

Grovyle leans forward to prepare for a Quick Attack, and before he leaps into action you finish charging up your attack and launch a Dark Pulse at the two Houndoom, causing them to flinch from the damage. Grovyle follows up in a green blur and finishes the two Houndoom off.

The two of you pause to catch your breath, and you look around to gauge the situation. There…was only one Kirlia left, which was currently being Zen Headbutted into oblivion by Skitty. The rest of the Pokemon had all dragged themselves off or were…still on the ground, out cold or worse, that wasn’t your business.

You hear a grunt of pain and look up at Grovyle, who is holding his singed arm up to see the damage. His eyes flit over to meet your’s, and at your worried expression, he tries to give you what you think he thinks is a reassuring smile, but it’s too close to a full wince to be so.

“I’m fine, nothing a Rawst Berry and some bandages won’t fix.”

The leftover adrenaline from the battle seems to make your heart beat faster as Grovyle smiles, and you shake your head to dismiss the feeling. But that makes Grovyle frown and look back down at his injury, and realizing your accidental mistake you dig through your bag to pull out an Oran Berry.

You pad up next to Grovyle and nudge his side to get his attention. He looks down at you and the berry you were holding.

His frown quirks to one side and he says, “No I can’t take that. We need to preserve supplies.”

You just nudge him harder, feeling his scales against your russet fur. He stares at you for one long moment more, before his expression melts into a softer one and he scoffs lightly.

“Fine, but just because we need to get a move on.”

You watch until Grovyle eats the Oran Berry and you watch as the telltale signs that it’s working to speed up healing are visible on his wounds. You smile at him, and he smiles back, this time a confident one. Somehow what should look like a smirk on his angular face is just a solid smile, and you’re really confused why the battle adrenaline is lasting this long to make your heart beat more.

Grovyle’s eyes search your’s as you hold eye contact, seemingly looking for something. His expression changes slightly, his eyes crinkling at the

What type of traits are the main cast(+miku) romantically attracted to?

Blizz: I wouldn’t say he’s outwardly romantically attracted to anything in particular, but he does seem to be attracted to leafeons because of his huge crush on Daisy when they were kids. He’s pretty oblivious to his own feelings romantically. He’d say things like “I like hot chicks!!” But wont react to one unless they are on a Playpoke mag because Flame told him once that that is how he should react when seeing the magazine and Blizz was like "ok!". This changes with leafeons tho. I suppose it’s familiarity? Tho either way, it takes time for him to genuinely become attracted to anyone. Complements will expedite this process.

Dusk: Dusk is into feminine features (and Sylveon). But also!!! He cant help becoming romantically attracted to pokemon that he’s spent a considerable amount of time with. Pokemon who know him and spend time with him, and seem to genuinely care about him. He actually falls for others pretty hard and fast, but he bottles up his feelings and tries to not show them to them. Which honestly just hurts him in the end, but fear is a big factor in it, I suppose.

Eve: Eve is attracted to intelligence and good looks? Idk lol normal tween girl stuff? She doesn’t get easily swept up in romantic words, but she does get swept up when someone does something for her or gives her gifts. If you just try to lure her in with sweet words, she’ll respond with a snarky reply. Gotta put in the effort!

Vay: Vay is not romantically attracted to any traits. Acts of service makes him happy, I guess.

Bolt: Bolt is also not romantically attracted to any particular traits, unlike Blizz, there is no thing that he’s even a tiny bit attracted to out of the gate. He does admire strong willed individuals, but that’s not romantic attraction. I can say that romantic gestures WILL make Bolt very flustered. Like do enough of those and show genuine care for him and he will fall. But! Aside from that? Nothing much lmao. He hates loud, noisy, and destructive individuals though- Like, if you stress him out, he’s like no thank you.

Flame: Flame SAYS he’s romantically attracted to WOMAN. ALL WOMAN, No matter the shape or size. But actually!!!! That’s not quite the case lmao. Flame has only experienced real romantic attraction to individuals that share his hobbies and thoughts. Individuals that are on the same wavelength as he is, regardless of their gender or how they look like. If they share the same views and spend time with each other, Flame will fall HARD (to his dismay). It’s very hard getting close to Flame, as he’s closed himself up to everyone, but if you do break through his hard shell, and spend time with him, you in! Well, unless you remind him of himself. He cant handle being with people that remind him too much of himself because he kind of hates himself.

Daisy: Daisy is romantically attracted to strong individuals. Look STRONG, be HOT, and Daisy will instantly be attracted. But this strength doesn’t just have to be in looks, it could be in other aspects, like your will power, your confidence, how passionate you are in a thing you love doing, etc etc. But ofc, If you butter her up with complements, she will be even more attracted lol. She also likes pokemon with a bit of an adventurous or mischievous side to them, and she LOVES Bad Boys/Girls. Like Villains are her favorite characters. Villain to good guy archetype 10/10.

Dawn: Dawn is romantically attracted to pokemon that have lots of MONEY. (Joking) Dawn is romantically attracted to pokemon that at a baseline- are not horrible. BASICALLY, Dawn has a very high sense of justice, and she despises pokemon that don’t treat others right. You may think this is hypocritical, but Dawn lives by the golden rule “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and if you don’t follow this rule, she’ll TM 15 you into oblivion. Dawn loves complements, and loves communication, she likes loyalty and honesty too. and ofc! Dawn loves a family man lol. She wants a BIG FAMILY, so anyone who shares her want for this and has the other traits is an instant yes for her! Also!!! She doesn’t like overly serious pokemon, or pokemon that hide their feelings from her. Communication is Number one!!!!

Miku: Miku is romantically attracted to Dusk. That is all.

Eevee: A normal guy. Same age as the rest of the crew, but swallowed an everstone years ago and hasn’t bothered trying to get it out.

Jolteon: The gang’s resident harbinger of chaos and Umbreon’s brother. He’s mostly going with the flow, almost always roping his friends into the anarchy he accidentally leaves in his wake, but he’s got a good heart. Consistently oblivious to Espeon’s crush on him.

Flareon: A clueless floof, who might not have that many braincells, but that just makes it so he has more room for love :3

Vaporeon: Wannabe daredevil and the self-appointed ‘Big Sister’ of the group, she consistently manages to get herself into life-threatening situations without even trying.

Umbreon: Jolteon’s brother, somehow the only sane man here. Consistently subjected to Leafeon and Jolteon’s shenanigans, but he puts up with it. May or may not be trying to play matchmaker.

Espeon: The only eon trying to keep the group stable, and failing miserably. She vehemently denies that she’s gotten a crush on Jolteon, but isn’t doing that good of a job at hiding it.

Leafeon: You know that one friend who you swear is constantly thinking “nobody hurts these idiots but me!” Yeah, that’s Leafeon. She’s protective of her friends, especially her best friend Jolteon, but let’s just say the time she almost committed first degree murder wasn’t the first, and probably won’t be the last.

Glaceon: The actual ‘Big Sister’ of the group, much to Vaporeon’s chagrin. Also the accidental group therapist, due to the fact that everyone tells her their drama, because they know she’ll comfort them.

Sylveon: Somehow in the direct center of this chaos, he somehow manages to stay mentally intact by refusing to give a shit. He does get a kick out of confusing the others, though.

I think I wanna make an eevee universe. I have seen people make their own versions of eevees so I shall try to make it too. This probably will all be done in fun and as a joke since I do not know what I am doing. I would probably call this the "Late Night Eevees"

Eevee - Male (he/him) - Careful - Races the others

Flareon - Female (it/she) - Impish - Pranks whoever is nearby

Jolteon - Female (she/her) - Quiet - Dislikes chit chats

Vaporeon - Male (he/him) - Docile - Sunbathes for long periods of time

Espeon - Male (he/him) - Lax - Will always initiate confrontation

Umbreon - Female (she/her) - Gentle - Enjoys napping under trees

Glaceon - Male (he/they/any) - Bold - Likes partying out late

Leafeon - Male (he/him) - Lonely - Hates noisy crowds

Sylveon - Male (he/she) - Naughty - Bullies the others for fun

Eevee loves being fast and is always jumping around places

Flareon bothers the others, showing them the newest trap or joke

Umbreon stays up until morning to where she sleeps while the grass is still dewy

I thought doing something out of the box and new with their dynamic would be very fun. As you can see, their personalities would be a little different than what is shown or portrayed. It would make for an interesting series with this group. Maybe spice it up with some romance too.

Flareon and Sylveon tag team on the group. They are the evil duo that no one really likes. Flareon does not enjoy taking it as far as the sadistic Sylveon, but she likes his company.

Vaporeon and Umbreon usually past by each other a lot. The lake is near the forest where Umbreon lazes around. Sometimes at night, they do late night talks before Umbreon sleeps during the day.

Jolteon and Leafeon do not get along too well due to both being very introverted. They are not well adjusted to social situations.

Espeon and Glaceon know each other due to the bars they frequent. Glaceon does not drink as much as Espeon, but will indulge him for fun.

Eevee does not like being with the other losers, but likes winning the races they do.

Everyone tolerates one another and they are roommates trying to pay the bill.

I will write more later when I am less distressed. I think doing some romance would be funny.

Umbreon has a huge crush on Espeon. She thinks Espeon is the coolest person ever, but he does not want her to catch on his bad habits.

Glaceon and Leafeon hate one another, but support each other's love lives. Glaceon likes Flareon and Leafeon likes Sylveon. They are trying to be wingman, but fail at it.

Vaporeon and Jolteon get along pretty well. They like reading romance together, but have no plans for relationships.

Flareon and Sylveon mutually like one another. They are slow to forming their relationship, but do confess on their feelings.

They both wear their gifts.

Aki does have PTSD of having trust issues with friends, and social anxiety with her being extroverted. And is also scared to lose her loved ones

She has a girlfriend (Mirai) that kinda does pokemon performing but mostly does sewing and making clothes (the same with Aki).

People would hate her team because it has 2 mythical pokemon is "over powered" but Diancie and shaymin are in the same level as Akis other pokemon.

Here we go TRUMA . When she was a kid (5) , her mom had a leafeon as he partner because she did pokemon performing, but the leasfeon went missing for 1 week but when home and turns out it is really injured and is bleeding (ALOT), it died that same day on the door step. At the age of 8 her brother died, trying to save her life.

When she went to school she had only 2 friends because everyone thought she was annoying and too much, those friends accepted her as what she was, but then one day she was talking a lot about pokemon then her friends told her to "shut up" then figuring out that the people she thought accepted her, it hurt her so much. When ever she keeps talking about something none stop to The Gang, and she would usually think that they are ignoring her and keep talking to someone else, she would get quiet and stop, but they are actually listening to her and Alain comforts her when it happens

She was stuck on choosing either pokemon performing, or pokemon researching because her parents do those jobs but found pokemon battling amazing and cool, she choice that to be her path but her grandma didn't like it and said "your too much like a boy" and "Isn't pokemon battling only for the guys". Aki always had those words in her mind and through her jounrey she firgured that she really loved being masculine and didn't care who would stop her. The Infiltrator, chapter 10- Out of my Hands.

Man. This has been the longest fanfiction project I’ve attempted in years, and I’m glad to have finally finished it. Thank you to everyone who helped me with this and to everyone who read it to the end.

N scrambled up the ladder and out of the underground room, briefly returning his rapidash, who could not climb ladders, before letting it out again and mounting it. The Pokémon galloped back towards the Team Rainbow Rocket hideout. Reshiram would have been faster, but there was no knowing when Giovanni or his reinforcements would show up, and while N could survive taking a tumble on his steed should it be attacked, falling from a knocked-out flying Pokémon was another matter.

As the hideout came in to view, Mewtwo teleported in before it, along with a furious-looking Giovanni. N tugged at his steed’s neck to get it to stop, and it reared up, terrified. Giovanni sent out his rhyperior, which shot several rocks at the radipash before it could react. N jumped off of it and landed on his side, managing not to be crushed by the horselike  Pokémon  as it wiped out, unconscious.

As N began to pick himself up, Giovanni came over and kicked him in the side. “It’s impressive that you’ve gotten this far, kid, but the gig is up,” he said, “Now, you have two options. I could kill you, or I could neutralize you as a threat by having mewtwo erase all your memories of this place and any involvement you might have had with me. I’d have to take your ability to communicate with Pokémon as well, so they couldn’t remind you of it. So, which will it be? It’s your choice.”

N weighed his options. With Giovanni’s Rhyperior and Mewtwo standing over him, his chances of escape were bleak. His abilities with Pokémon... they were everything to him. But he’d still rather lose them than die. Maybe some of it could be relearned.

Just as N opened his mouth to answer, Reshiram came out of its pokéball, grabbed onto N’s collar with its mouth, and took off into the skies with him.

“Thanks, buddy,” he said, climbing onto reshiram’s back. Mewtwo was chasing after them. N led reshiram through the sky, dodging and weaving so not to be hit as lasers of psychic energy flew past them. As they carried on, N checked what  Pokémon  he currently had on him. Aside from reshiram and rapidash, he had Iris’ espeon, his leafeon and ninjask, and his zoroark- not a terrible line-up, but not his best. And one could presume that Giovanni was bringing his best.

N had his reshiram turn to face Mewtwo and fire at it with turbo blaze. As with most aerial battles, there were many misses and dodges before Reshiram finally hit Mewtwo with a beam of fire. Mewtwo tumbled through the sky, recovered, and delivered a tri attack. N guided Reshiram to dodge, but reshiram was hit in the chest.

As N guided reshiram to go back into retreat mode, he looked to the enemy Pok��mon and then his own. They both seemed like another hit would be all it took.

“Put me down in front of the hideout,” he told the legendary, “I can’t take falls like you can.”

Reshiram obeyed, diving down while weaving enough to be a tough target. N jumped off once it got close enough to the ground, and reshiram immediately ascended again, leaving N in front of Giovanni and his Rhyperior.

“Huh. You have spunk, kid. I can respect that,” Giovanni admitted.

“It’s over, Giovanni. Four of your admins are gone, your machine is melted, and I’m going to call the international police the first chance I get.”

“You’re not going to get a chance! Rhyperior, hammer arm!”

The rock giant took aim at N, who scrambled for a pokéball. “Leafeon, out and use leaf blade!”

The leafeon came out and blocked the rhyperior’s attack with its leafy tail, but N didn’t stick around to watch her fight- he had to get inside. He had to get help on the way. Otherwise, they could fight each other to exhaustion and Giovanni would still have his underlings to send after him. And at very least, this was a good match-up for her typewise. Looking over his shoulder, it seemed like he was a good match-up for Giovanni as well, at least in terms of foot speed.

N scrambled into the empty entrance and made for his room, letting out his zoroark and ninjask at the doorway. “Hold Giovanni off,” he ordered them.

In the privacy of his room, N dialed the international police.

“Hello?”“

“Rocket Boss Giovanni is trying to kill me.”

From behind the door, N could hear the sound of his zoroark growling. The woman on the other end of the line sighed. “You mean he sent you a death threat? We’ll arrange for you to receive a government-funded guard   Pokémon,” she said as though she’d said it a hundred times before.

“I mean he’s outside my door beating up my Pokémon right now. Send help!” N yelled as a chorus of thuds and slashing noises sounded from behind the wall.

“Give us the address and we’ll have someone over right away.” To N’s relief, her voice was serious now.

“There’s no specific address. We’re off the Northern coast of Ula’ula, wooded area, very close to the beach.”

The door slammed open, N’s zoroark and Giovanni’s persian tumbling through, resembling a ball of blood, claws and vengeance as they wrestled. N and Giovanni made eye contact, the latter becoming enraged when he saw the phone in N’s hand. He returned his Persian, turned away, and ran.

For a moment, N sat still, unsure of what to do. Then, N turned back to the phone. “What did you just say? I missed it.”

“I said we’ll dispatch the helicopters immediately.”

“Thank you.”

N turned to his zoroark. “He must be making a run for it. Let’s go.”

With that, N ran down the hall, returning his fainted ninjask as he went. His zoroark bounded along beside him. They caught up to Giovanni at the hideout’s front desk, speaking into its microphone extension.

Giovanni’s voice came over the intercom, loud enough to wake the dead. “There is an intruder among us, last seen in the admin dormitories. He has long green hair, above-average height, and is wearing a grunt uniform. Everyone up and at em’!”

N ducked back into the dormitory hall and then into one of the rooms. It only then occurred to him that one of those rooms contained Ghetsis. Ghetsis. He would be one of the people nearest by, and considering how their last meeting had ended, he would probably be itching to hurt N.

Thankfully, it seemed that Zoroark had an idea. Using its incredible agility, it jumped up and tore a few panels from the ceiling. N nodded to it- desperate times called for desperate measures. The zoroark grabbed N and jumped through the hole. Thankfully, there were strong enough rafters to hold their weight, and enough space that they could comfortably crawl.

The two put distance between themselves and the hole. There were areas where they could clearly hear the bustle of searching grunts down below. Once they got to a quieter area, they stopped to plan.

“I’ve got to find a way to keep Giovanni in the building a little longer or he’s going to get away. Any ideas?” N asked his Pokémon.

The wolflike creature shook its head.

“It’s a tough one, isn’t it? Reasoning with him is probably off the table, and it’s not like we can strongarm him into staying. Unless espeon’s a fighter, I only have you left, and he has...”

The zoroark barked softly.

“His persian and two others. And the power of all his subordinates. Yeah, battle stregnth isn’t going to help us.”

It was then that N heard the sound of a large Pokémon crying, seemingly coming from directly below him. N removed one of the ceiling panels and realized that he was right above a two story-tall storage room of sorts filled with weaponry, torture devices, and cages. At the center of it was a map of the world with various figurines of legendaries and armies, similar to those Ghetsis had used way back when he had led Team Plasma. This must have been stage 1.

N dropped down onto what seemed like a massive row of shelves set up against a wall but upon closer inspection was a wall lined with cages. N climbed down them, past numerous strange and alienlike  Pokémon. They made a ruckus as he descended- there was no chance he wouldn’t be heard. They were all screaming for N to let them out. Screaming for revenge on Ghetsis and Giovanni. And one told him the location of the keys in the top shelf of Ghetsis’ desk over by the map. N ran for the keys and nabbed them just as the first grunt entered the room. N turned to the grunt.

“Find Giovanni,” N said, “Tell him that if he isn’t in this room in the next ten minutes, I will release all these ultra beasts, and that they want revenge on him.”

The grunt nodded and ran. N hoped that that would be enough- some of the  Pokémon  were big and capable of flight, but surely Giovanni had ways of protecting himself. Mere moments later, more grunts came in to challenge N. It was one fight after another with his zoroark. The grunts were weak, but zoroark was getting tired, and there seemed to be no end in sight. As N handled the third grunt’s zubat, Giovanni showed up, shoved his grunt out of the way and took out his nidoking and nidoqueen.

“You useless idiots!” Giovanni yelled at the grunts, “why are you coming at him one at a time? You have numbers. Take out your Pokémon now, all of you, and show him what Team Rocket is capable of!”

The grunts obeyed, filling the air with weak bats and the ground with various weaker  Pokémon.

Giovanni then turned to N. “I know what you’re doing. You’re trying to slow me down so I get caught. But while you’re surrounded like this, it won’t take any time at all.”

From behind Giovanni, another voice sounded.

“This is the international police. We have you surrounded. Return your Pokémon and put your hands up.”

The next few minutes were a blur. Giovanni desperately attempted to escape by having his  Pokémon  break through the walls, but they were unable to do so fast enough and Giovanni was led away in handcuffs. Some grunts ran. Others attacked N out of anger or confusion. They took out his zoroark and Iris’ espeon before a group of men and women in purple international police uniforms managed to safely escort N out.

Roughly an hour later, N was at the Ula’ula police station, sitting on their worn-out pleather couch as a member of the international police discussed matters with Ula’ula’s police chief outside. It was over. Or at least, it was out of his hands. Something told N that Giovanni wouldn’t go down that easily. N found it difficult to relax, especially since his phone had been confiscated and he’d been given no healing items for his Pokémon, which left him with nothing to do but watch the clock.

Police chief Nanu walked in through the front door and handed N three pokéballs. “The international police passed these on to me. They said that they were recovered from around the hideout. Do you know who they belong to?”

N looked into them. “Yes. They’re my reshiram, rapidash, and leafeon. Thank you.”

“Of course, kid. Now, do you need to get ahold of someone, or...?”

“I could contact my sisters and Abraxus. Is there any news from the international police?”

“No. Chances are there won’t be. Not for a long time, at least. There’s a lot of powerful people with vested interest in Giovanni’s freedom, so getting him out of the picture has to be hush-hush if it can even happen at all. The fewer people who know, the better.”

“Oh.” It was rather disappointing and a little scary that N would never know whether Giovanni was in jail or plotting his revenge.

Nanu seemed to sense N’s unhappiness. “ Hey, between you and me? You did a good thing by taking things into your own hands. Vigilantes like you aren’t hampered by corruption, so there’s no limits to what you can do against crime groups that have embedded themselves into our institutions. But I think if anyone ever had a shot at locking up Giovanni, it would be the international police.” Nanu dug N’s cellphone out of his pocket. “I guess I can give this back to you now that you understand that you can’t speak a word of this to anyone. Ready to call your people?” he asked.

“Yeah,” N replied. He took the phone and dialed.

Abraxus picked up the phone. “N? How is everything? Are you okay?”

“Yeah. I’m at the Ula’ula police station. Can you come meet up with me? There’s a lot I have to tell you guys. And I have something I need to say to you.”

“Oh. Okay.” N could hear the anxiety in her voice.

“It’s a good something, don’t worry.”

Fairly soon, N was reunited with Abraxus and his sisters. The first words out of his mouth were a very relieved “it’s over.” They took N’s Pokémon to get healed and then headed down to the beach at N’s recommendation. He wanted a place as private as possible to talk through everything. Thankfully, the beach was empty in the early morning hours. In the blue stillness of night and to the sound of the waves, N felt calmer than he’d felt since he’d arrived in Alola. He explained how he’d sent the four villains away, and how they would most likely never know of Ghetsis’ or Giovanni’s fate.

“You don’t know whether Ghetsis escaped or not? That’s terrifying!” Anthea said.

“I hope I never have to think of him again,” N admitted. “As soon as we get home, I think we should put our version of Ghetsis in a real prison. I don’t think I’ll ever change his mind, and he’ll have a better life there.”

“Honestly, that’s probably a good idea. But what changed your mind?”

“I had to look into the minds of five villains these past couple days, and I learned that people do learn and change. You can even be the one that helps them to. But not everyone is willing to. I know that Lysandre still doesn’t care about people outside his circle for the right reasons, even though I got him to do the right thing. And I don’t know what Cyrus is going to do now- I just know that I did what I could to steer him right. And honestly? I was a little relieved when Lysandre and Cyrus left. They’re not people I want in my life. And… as much as it disappointed me that I couldn’t learn how to handle Ghetsis, I was also relieved that I wouldn’t have to. Ghetsis doesn’t want to do right. He doesn’t want to listen to me. And that’s out of my control.”

“That’s… very wise, N,” Abraxus said. N wondered if she was worried about his new knowledge- if he’d seen her in the memories of any of the villains.

“Thanks. And Abraxus, I know about your past, and I still want you in my life. I overheard it while you were talking to Lusamine. You chose to turn yourself into the person I needed because you had compassion for me. I don’t know what the future holds, but I’m really glad that we’ll be facing it together. Thank you for everything.”

For a moment, Abraxus could only stare at N. Then she collapsed in on him, wrapping him in a tight hug.

“Glad I can still be in your life, N,” she said.

“Thanks. You guys ready to go home?”

There was general agreement, and soon N and his companions were once again flying over the ocean, headed to Unova.

Eliana definitely does forget to eat. It's a side effect of her college days, being so busy studying and working at the same time. She never had a whole lot of time to stop to graduate, but even then she had the bad habit of delving so deeply into her work that she'd nearly pass out in the greenhouse/indoor arboretum before she remembered that a protein bar for breakfast wouldn't last her past noon as active as she stayed. This carried over into the dark future, too, especially since she prioritized Treecko eating first (it made more sense since he was already malnourished and still growing; he had to convince her sometimes to eat even they were running short, so sometimes they would take turns between meals). It's not until she joins the Guild that she gets into a schedule; having dinner at the same time every night provided helped significantly. This helps her fill out her lankier frame, since she's taller than the average Eevee. Lu worries about her when they're traveling a lot, especially after they graduate since they work a lot harder on their own jobs, so he often encourages her to take snack breaks. By the time of TPR she's had to adapt once again since Leafeons don't have to eat as much since they photosynthesize...but even then she's forgetful and wonders why she starts feeling funny and her leaves turn color (think fertilizer deficiencies like yellowing leaves/etc). Grovyle and Dusknoir hover enough to make up for it though. (Dusknoir...your wife is literally a walking, self-destructive house plant, my guy. Hope you have a green thumb.)

Lu would absolutely be oblivious. A couple of the apprentices have harmless crushes on him but he doesn't even notice. He's just so friendly with everyone and expects the same in return to a certain degree that the thought of someone flirting with him just flies right over his head. (I want to ship him with someone so bad but I have no idea who...maybe I need to start brainstorming a new OC...hmm...ideas are welcome. Maybe he ends up needing an assistant at the Guild...)

Honestly? I think Grovyle would be a pretty good artist, although I think he'd be more into sculpting like wood whittling or carpentry or smth, like @sincerely-sofie headcanons (if you don't mind me borrowing that idea, of course). I bet he'd make the most intricate little figurines and the prettiest tabletops/cutting boards/signs. I can maybe see him doing some sort of water color/paint pour-adjacent art style, too, sort of like tie-dying fabrics for various purposes. (He would never admit it but he sometimes bases the color schemes on his team. He doesn't have to though bc they can tell, they just respect his pride enough not to point it out lol)

Definitely canon! While Celebi can and will recall long-term things with relative ease, part of the reason she has to think about it a while is because...well, her long-term memory is very long. Sometimes it gives her a headache to concentrate on things too far back or forward in the timeline, even if it was something she personally experienced, so most of the time she lets her mind go. This gives her a sort of ditsy demeanor, but you'd best believe that she's got dirt on you from your childhood that you were sure no one else knows about. She's just nice enough most of the time not to pull it out of the hat (unless for good reason, of course).

This one...I'm not so sure. (I rerolled a few times bc they were irl-themed, and I stopped here bc it was smth I thought would be interesting to hypothesize). Like I've discussed before, I feel like Dusknoir would be very cautious and self-conscious about his touches after everything. But on the other hand, given enough time to heal and work through his problems, I can see him being a bit more casual in his affection (i.e. pats on the back, brief hugs, laying a hand on shoulders, etc). But full-on wrestling/tackling? That's reserved for Eliana only. He trusts her enough to tell him if he's being too rough, as well as how strong she is to hold her own. Not to the credit of the others, of course, since they're all very strong in their own right (and Celebi is more powerful than Eliana in the scope of abilities obviously, being a Legend), but he just feels more comfortable allowing himself to let the throttle loose more with her (sort of like their habit of playing cat and mouse). Eventually he'd start to pick on her for being so much smaller than him out of affection, like picking her up and tossing her around a bit. He'll scoop her up and start petting her like one would a cat and she'll try to wriggle out of his arms and he'll just keep catching her before she manages to jump back down. He thinks it's hilarious to rub her fur the wrong way, too, but by that point she's tired and has simply given up trying to escape him. The glares she gives anyone else with the audacity to laugh are hot enough to combust.

Hi Sofie, i-never-forgot here!😊This may be an odd sort of question and I can’t recall if you’ve either discussed it before or mentioned it in TPiaG or not, but how would you describe Darkrai and some of the others in a tactile sense? I’m a detailed writer myself so I dwell on stuff like this to make it seem as accurate as possible lol

Obviously more animal-adjacent Pokemon would more closely resemble their IRL counterparts (like my main pair of Leafeon and Lucario having fur, as well as Grovyle likely having scales and being cool-natured due to being cold-blooded like geckos) with some “fantastical” differences (like Twig also being scaled but perhaps warm to the touch due to being a fire type? I know she can’t regulate her temperature like normal ones would, but would she still run a higher than average temperature compared to other Pokemon?), but I struggle to describe some of the more vaguely inspired ones, if that makes sense.

Would Celebi be smooth like onion skin or would she have soft hairy scales/powdery like moths/butterflies since she’s technically like a fairy?

Would Dusknoir be more ghostly or tangible? I think he’d be cool to the touch and I know he can control whether he’s corporeal or not at will, but would he be just kind of fleshy or more “ectoplasmic” for lack of a better word?

And as for Darkrai, I just can’t get it out of my head that he’s feathery since Cresselia has them. Is he super soft with short down? I just can’t picture him having fur/hair for some reason.

I guess what this boils down to is that I’m asking for a bit of writing advice haha. I portray my characters as somewhat tactile in their affection but I’m running into this issue of not being sure how to describe some of the others’ physical characteristics😅sorry for the long ask, my friend!

I’ve been puzzling this out in my head for a while now. I’m wanting to work on writing with more vivid sensory details, so I’ve been working on a bit of a cheat sheet to refer to when I’m describing the main cast of TPiaG. It’s still a work in progress, but here’s some of the notes I’ve got!

Celebi isn't visibly hairy, but she'd feel like a lamb’s ear plant’s leaf if you touched her— very much soft and fuzzy, but in a plant way instead of an animal way. I picture the green parts of her having a shimmery, powdery substance they give off when something touches them, but she usually keeps that substance from building up because it would overwhelm her natural beauty with sparkles if she didn't. She smells like crushed bay leaves.

I imagine Dusknoir would have more “give” to him than someone who is 100% corporeal 24/7, but he's still solid despite having an overstuffed-pillow quality to him. He is not going to beat the beanbag allegations on my watch. He'd feel a few degrees cooler than your average pokemon, but only a few— enough for someone to take note of it if they weren't expecting as much, but nothing comparable to some of the ice-types out there. His hands and head as well as the cuffs on his wrists and his collar / frill all feel completely solid, and are unyielding to the touch. He smells like an antique store— that sort of dusty, perfume-smelling kind specifically.

Grovyle is pretty much a typical lizard in terms of scaliness, though maybe snakes would be a better comparison? He doesn’t feel very rough, but he’s definitely got scales. His leaves are similar to those awful crab grasses that will kill you with paper cuts if you look at them the wrong way. He smells like cut grass.

Twig is entirely smooth, save for her “freckles”, which are actually scattered patches of raised scales that are somewhat rough. She radiates ambient heat that could be compared to a fireplace that's burning low after having maintained a roaring fire for a while— the kind of warmth that's not intense enough to burn your face but is still cozy and comforting. She smells like a campfire, but only a tiny bit— she smells more strongly of forests in the sun and the bark on trees.

Kip feels like a dolphin. I don't know how to describe him other than with this comparison. He’s kinda rubbery and very solid, and has a lot of muscle under his cute exterior. His head and tail fins feel kinda like silk, but with a lot more substance to them. He smells like freshwater and rain.

Darkrai has evaded my ability to describe for the longest time. I can't make up my mind. I love the idea of him being feathery, but it doesn't quite fit the image I have for him in my head. The best descriptor comparison I can summon is those satin fabrics you can find bolts of at fabric stores. He feels… sleek? I guess is a good word? Sleek but not slippery like some of the fancier satins out there. But yeah. He feels fabric-y in terms of texture, and like the cold side of a pillow in terms of temperature. His plume feels more like hair the closer to his head you get, and the further away you get the more intangible it becomes and feels like the air on really misty days where everything seems saturated with cold and dew. The puffy cloudy things on his shoulders share the same trait. He smells like nothing, at least from Twig's POV, but specifically the kind of nothing that you smell in your own home where everything is so familiar you just stop noticing the scents.

I struggle to be very sensory in my writing, so this cheat sheet is going to be a vital resource as I try and describe senses more— hope it’s able to help you a bit as well! :>

I can definitely see it as a thing where you two are on the opposites side of camp. Adaman is lecturing Mellie about something and you're doing your own thing when your poke's decide that they're bored.

They run off, which neither of you mind since you know they can take care of themselves. But they really just run off to meet the other and come up with ideas.

Next thing you know, your clothes are being yanked on by your Vaporeon to get you moving someplace and Leafeon is doing the same to Adaman, which causes you both to be confused as to why they're acting that way.

The two of you end up meeting at some spot that has different berries piled onto a blanket. You both end up laughing a bit at it since it's obvious the Pokemon tried to set something up. 

Adaman would be the one to sigh and give you a smile as he suggested staying and having the picnic. It would be messed up to ruin something your pokemon worked so hard to make.

June: Primarina, Male, has a serious nature and mischievous. June is the leader of the group, and Imani's ace. He's generally calm and kind, but much like his trainer has a bit of a mischievous side to him. Loves to preform when given the chance. Has a very homoerotic rivarly with another pokemon on Imani's team ( which will be introduced in a different post).

Mira: Nidoquee(shiny), female, has a modest and somewhat of a clown. Mira is the second pokemon Imani has caught, and June's right hand woman. Always there to lend and ear, has that Big Sis energy. Is a sucker for puns, and will make them at everyone's expense.

Sunflower: Chandelure, female, has a rash nature and is impetuous and silly ( I'm noticing a pattern). Technically the oldest, being ghost type, but is physically and mentally the youngest. Well, she was, until Poppy. Energetic, optimistic and a little too eager to prove herself, Sunflower is definitely a great addition to the team!

Heart: Sylveon, male, has a docile nature and is alert to sounds. One of the older Pokemon of the group, despite his circumstances of existence. He's the emotional crutch of the group, wise and patient with the biggest heart there. Sunflower affectionately calls him "gramps" ( he's not that old.....and she's technically older than him!)

Autumn: Leafeon(shiny), male, Naive and Love to Eat. The younger eeveelution. While not as energetic as Sunflower ( in fact I would say he's rather introverted....and older physically and mentally) he is just a bit more impressionable. Fortunately Heart basically took him under his wing when he joined the team proper, so he doesn't get into too much trouble. He....tends to get crushes easily. ( also he's banned from every kitchen ever)

Rover: Arcanine, male, Jolly and Likes to Run. Before there was Sunflower, there was Rover, and boy is he just a ray of sunshine. He wears his heart on his sleeves, and is always earnest about everything. Tries to see the best in people, and genuinely wants to be friends with everyone. The goodest boi. He's surprisingly close to a certain chimera.

Solace: Silvally, nonbinary, Adamant and likes to thrash about. Arguably the hardest one for Imani to bond with. They has a temper and a great distrust of, well, everything and everyone. They hated how everyone tried to coddle them at first. But overtime, they grew to understand that they were 1) safe and loved and 2) not expected to be a weapon. Upon realizing that, they let their guard down, and let themselves life, for once. Has grown, ahem, close to Rover. Will deny everything if asked about it.

Thorn: Heracross,female, Naive and good perseverance. Chill as hell. While not as impressionable as Autumn, her go with the flow attitude tends to let her get dooped once or twice. She is. Remarkable strong despite this. Sometimes isn't even aware of her own strength. This is amplified when she mega evolves, where she becomes near unstoppable. She is a really good teacher, helping the newer pokemon train. ( is also banned from every kitchen ever)

Nancy: Mawile, female, Careful and Capable of taking hits. And before their was Heart, there was Nancy. She tends to be nervous around others, however. For a long time, she was Imani's emotional link to her mother. Their bond was so strong that she was even able to mega evolve! She was hesitant to meet Heart, especially since she was named after his dead trainer. But Heart took her face into his ribbons, smiled at her and told her that she looked just like her mother, and that both her and Nancy would be so proud to see to see the pokemon she has become. Needless to say, both of them shed a lot of tears that day.

And yeah! Those are the main mons! I wanted to add to more but it's late and I don't want this to be insanely long. I hope you enjoy this!

I thought I may talk about a feature I think wold be neat for a Makai themed Pokemon game.

Despite the demon world being somehow of a darker place the gimik is love based! And this feature is called amourism.

Amourism causes the Pokemon to take a from that matches the one of its trainer or even gets new evolutions!. Some trainer even give their Pokémon the same piercings so they match even more. The trainer on the other hand gets a mark that displays a symbole that conects the trainer to the Pokémon on their skin. Kinda like a tattoo but it isnt removable under any circumstances. These features are also called Amourly.

Amourism also has three phases Phase 1 - The Pokémon gets stronger Phase 2 - Both get the amourly feature (Phase 3 - This cant really be called a phase and is really rare with it only being confined to Bestia. The trainer gets features that fits the Pokémon such as eary, a tail etc.)

Team: Leafeon, Komala, Ribombee, eF-eM, Primarina

Shus team found itself together mostly through him encountering or helping a Pokémon and them just following him around until he catches them

well despite for Leafeon since Eevee is the starter Karl set for pureblood vampires

he often uses Leafeon or Komala as a pillow

Shus Pokémon that can use the amourism feature is Leafeon

Leafeon gets the flying type added and gets the ability Comatose. It mainly doesnt use its wings and looses its little earphone.

Team: Espeon, Roselia, Polteageist, Salandit, Snivy

Reiji is really passionate about the care of his Pokemon, he has specially made beds for all of them in the room right beside his own

the only Pokémon that is allowed to sleep in his room is Snivy as it was hurt a while ago and still needs care

his pokémon all help him with his experiments, especially salandit. It always wants to be a help for the Vampire

Reiji and Espeon have the strongest bond since they went through everything together and it even shares his hatred for Shu (even though it kind of has a crush on Shus Leafeon)

Psiana gets the Dark type and mainly uses the liquid on its back for any sort of attacks.

Team: Fighteon, Cinderace, Stufful, Hisuian Lilligant

Ayato thinks that the fighting type is the best

his Fighteon wears a corset that is from the time he had to dress up as Cinderella

he found Stufful in an abandoned house in the demon world and it somehow reminded him of the teddy he got from his father so Ayato took it in

they are beast friends since then, wich often makes his other pokemon quite jelous

also Ayato has one of the rarer amourly evolutions wich pushed his ego far into the universe. He always brags about it to Ruki, or anyone for that matter

This Pokémon is a whole new evolution with a fighting type. It is actually really nice and attacks physically.

Team: Umbreon, Mewostic, Gardevoir, Braixen, Alolan-Raichu

when Raichu and Braixen still were in their previous stage he would often take them on walks to get into conversations with girls more easily

he caught Meowstic after it chased a caterpie away and "saved" him but it quickly grew jealous of Umbreon

it sometimes gets to the point that Gardevoir has to step in. After all he really is the calming point of his team since Braixen has quite the temper and Raichu is just watching them

Braixen gains the ghost type and uses plasma flames more than real ones.

Team: Glaceon, Banette, Mimikyu, Litwick, Nickit

can you see a pattern? that guy just loves ghost pokemon

this often creeps other trainers out and he is widely known as "the ghost puppeteer"

he even got the mega stone for Banette from his father (best descision you ever made Karl hand up)

the other boys were fully convince, that Teddy also was one of his Pokémon and possesed by Cordelia for the longest time

Mimikyu doesnt really change type wise but his little outfit changes to that from teddy. ( I find that idea super cute ok :((((

Team: Eevee, Tyrunt

since Subaru is the youngest his Pokémon aren´t fully evolved

over time his Eevee picked up his emo demeanor and they often act alike

Tyrunt on the other hand is really sweet despite the reputation his species has. It often tries to calm Subaru down, sometimes even with bites that also caused onr or the other hospital visit

overall they are a good team

Team: Sylveon, Galarian Ponyta, Sandygast, (last stage of Smoliv), Mew

Yui cares about every Pokémon she has deeply

she found her mew as a child in a forest near her church, without knowing of its status

she only found about it being a mystical Pokémon years later

but that wasnt the only surprise for her. When she first catched sandygast she didnt know about its origin and was shocked to find out it was possesed by a lost soul

she still loves it despite everything and finds it shy nature cute

tho she isn't from Makai her Ponyta still is able to use amourism, wich isn't widely known under humans

Her ponyta gains the grass type

Author chan: I call this- the everything's fine AU. Now. Due to how events happened in the story, a few characters wont exist if the specific events of SSEC didn't happen. BUT! In this AU, it just so happened that events had made all the characters end up in the same place.

Blizz: Chubby boi! Very adventurous, likes to help his closest friend/twin brother, Vay, with his PC adventures guild he made. Is kind of slow, but does have his moments. Can be pretty naïve too, and absolutly loves helping others.

Dusk: Very in love with Sky. Is a hasty boi who likes reading and tinkering with electronics. Is part of the main team, with Sky, so is not seen in the Eevee box much

Eve: Blizz's daughter! Is very young, like, Less than a year old at this point. Really loves her papa and mama, and loves dressing up and singing! When she grows up, she wants to go adventuring in the PC with her papa and mama!

Vay: The head of the PC adventure guild! They basically explore the different boxes and record data on what they find. Loves adventuring a lot! Is always happy and bubbly. Can usually be found close to Blizz or out and about!

Bolt: Literally the same. Is a father figure among all the eevees in the box, and tries to keep them happy

Flame: A very shy, timid boy. Is still resentful and jealous of Dusk, and has a huge crush on Sky, tho. He's trying to ignore that. His nose is always in a book, and he doesn't interact with the others much, tho, him and Vay are friends. He wants to join the adventures guild to become braver, but is too shy and scared.

Daisy Maisy: A rambunctious girl who helps out in the adventures guild! She loves the thrill and danger of exploring uncharted territory! Her twin, Rodger, is a researcher for the guild, and they talk a lot! Has a crush on Vay.

Dawn Fawn: A mischievous leafeon girl who likes causing trouble for the lols. She is head over heals for Bolt and constantly tries to get his attention. Tho, she tends to ruin his work more than anything ^^;;

Sky: A quiet girl. Is also over level 70. She is part of the trainer's main team, and is mates with Dusk. She seems timid, but can get very worked up and angry if the right cards fall. Is very powerful, don't get her angry.... seriously. Still loves reading and learning. Wants to be a teacher one day.

Now. A few of you may wonder "Where's sylveon?" Well. The Sylveon of this AU is not a main character in SSEC, sooooooo :p

Author chan: I definitely can!

Eevee- His name is Ever (Creative name, I know) He is the protagonist of the story! A Highschool Sophomore. He moves into his cousin's house, which is where all these eeveelutions live. He is literally, GENUINLY, the only quote on quote normal one. He's basically a normie. He's also the "art kid" He loves cartoons and draws a lot in his notebook. He also loves video games and typical 16 year old boy stuff. He is basically the straight man of the series, as in, he gawks at all the ridiculousness the others get into.

Jolteon- No name yet but her screen name is "Joltanna" She's a super popular Twitch streamer/ vlogger with over 5 million subs! She can beeee very vain and extra. Also goes to the gym like 5 times a week. She recently dropped out of college to focus on her influencer career.

Flareon- No name yet and nothing much about him is developed except that he's a REAL HOT HEAD. He gets angry for the littlest thing. He's also a Reddit troll on the side lol

Vaporeon: His name is Dobbie!!! He's like, a stoner. Also Ever is his cousin. He's a buisness major in the local college!! (This story takes place in a college town lol). Dobbie is super chill. He is one of those people who's like "Bruhhhhh, your energy.... is like so wack today bruuuhhhhhhhhh, I'll send you some good vibes bruhhhhhhhhh" And yes, he skateboards, snowboards, and surfs.

Espeon: No name yet but they are actually a prodigy! like, 16 and in college type prodigy!!! (They are the only non adult other than Ever) Scholarships are basically giving them a full ride. They have an obsession with glasses (Like, they have a LOT of glasses, and wears ALL of them), is a germaphobe, and is a walking wiki. Idk what they are majoring, but I feel like its something like double majoring in Bioengineering and Psychology with a minor in computer science or something ridiculous like that. Is always tired.

Umbreon: My favorite, and the one with the most development. DARKNESS! (Real name Dave) Darkness is a VERY EXTRA, EDGELORD. Now. Umbreon is not emo, or depressed, he is just a very extra, cringy edgelord who says that he is both emo and depressed but is actually not. One of his eyes are always covered with hair, not because its scarred or anything, he just has the eye of a charizard Ho-oh hybrid that he needs to hide from the world or else immense power will release from it. Sure, it switches eyes a lot BUT it is TOTALLY not a contact lens. His best friend? A Katana unironically named "Bloodweep the soul cursed legacy of Dragonsouls and the executioner of the forsaken" he has a massive crush on Sylveon for WHO KNOWS WHAT REASON, but wont admit it even though its pretty obvious. With that said, he went into college as an Undecided major, which means, he doesn't know what he's doing.

Leafeon: You guys saw him lol. Vern!!! I think I said a lot about him already, but he is like- always anxious, constantly hiding behind plants. Also grows and sells weed totally illegally, a FAMILY BUISNESS! UwU He doesnt talk much and hides a lot, so he tends to scare others with his anxious rambles. Also he's unironically studying to be a pediatrician.

Glaceon: Glaceon is genuinely so hard to write I can't think of anything extra for him and rewrote his character 10 times already. He is Jolteon's twin brother tho, and is a mega tsundere for one of the other characters in the cast, but I don't know who yet. (Actually it would be funny if its Flareon) *Makes it Flareon* ALSO!!! He, unlike his sister, is still in college.

Sylveon: Sylveon has no name yet, BUT!!! She is a BIG Weeaboo. When I mean BIG, I mean it dominates her life. Her room is filled with anime merch, manga, and otome games. She doesn't have just one or two anime body pillows, she has SEVERAL, and, you know those weird anime mousepads with the chest or butt wrist rests? Yeah. She has a collection of those. Stupid Short Eevee Comic is an anime in this world, and Sylveon here is deeply in love with Vay from it. She believes that he and her are soulmates, destined to be together, if it wasn't for that blasted screen separating them! Also as a side note, she is only attracted to anime boys. She is also Sophomore in college, studying graphic design.
