a random star wars fic idea i had: time travel to clone wars with Darth Vader but he has to pull a "i am your evil long lost brother" with anakin bc the Force did him a solid and returned him while looking like his clone wars self but also this is inconvenient since everyone who's kinda important to the whole 'stop darth sidious' goal sort of knows anakin skywalker's FACE.

so cue Darth Vader trying to build up like idk a movement in the Outer Rim opposed to both the Separatists and the Republic in some insane plan to stop Sidious by being a wildcard coming swinging in outta nowhere like a wrecking ball, but he has to kinda hide his face too and be this ~mysterious new sith~ muddying the waters even more.

and fast forward to a dramatic anakin & obi-wan vs darth vader showdown, where vader's mask is knocked off and anakin and obi-wan are staring in horror at his VERY DISTINCT FACE, and vader, panicking, just blurts out "YES. I AM YOUR TWIN BROTHER!" bc who's gonna dispute it? SHMI???? she was a slave it's perfectly plausible she had twins and her master forced her to sell one of the kids and she's dead so not like she's gonna say 'nah that didn't happen'.

they're filming season two, but i'm thinking about the potential adaption of the mount tam scene in season three. you know, the one where annabeth could apologize for pushing percy out of the way and falling off the cliff in his place, and how she knows that sounds terrible but they didn't have time for another plan and she didn't want to lose him that way. but percy just engulfs her in a hug because he's so relieved that she's safe now and everything else be damned. and annabeth doesn't understand why he's snickering to himself after that last statement, but she melts into the hug anyway because she missed him. and thalia and grover stand in the background happy for their friends on the outside but internally mortified, because their friends are definitely falling for each other but fate may not allow them to see it through.

i think we need to understand the gravity of how quickly Percy blames himself and his disabilities for the way his world is. how he's been made to believe over years and years that he's weird, that there's something wrong with him. Percy saying he should've been paying attention. Percy saying there's something wrong with his brain. Percy calling himself broken.. he's just a kid man
