Thinking about the thieves guild in a modern setting.
It’s just a discord server called ‘the cistern 🐀 🐀’
Brynjolf is a romance scammer (because,, come on,,,)
Vex is a hacker, infiltrating those bank accounts.
Mercer does Ponzi schemes.
Delvin does standard break ins.
Tonilia sells what they steal.
Niurin runs a MLM, but it isn’t doing very well.
Rune steals bikes.
Vipir the fleet steals Amazon packages.
There’s a meme channel only thrynn posts in, and Mercer emoji reacts to every single post with a laughing emoji like the boomer he is (he doesn’t mean it)
Karliah was banned from the server after gallus’s dox was put out (by Mercer) and no one knows what happened to gallus.
Bryn, vex, Mercer and Delvin have a secret discord channel only they can view called ‘da vault 💰’ but it’s only use is for Delvin to react to thrynns memes in private (Delvin thinks they are very kek lmao.)
Mercer locks the server down with the message ‘kek u frens later, thievnons’

Week Fifty Seven!
Kek.
Zim snaps his head back. The wagon following him, filled with precariously stacked boxes of assorted girl-y cookies, swings with the motion, and the stack threatens to topple – but by some miraculous means, doesn’t, all the boxes remaining fixed to their daunting positions.
“What was that?”
Skoodge peels his hand away from the underside of the big curly blue wig and blue-striped helmet sitting over his head. It’s hard to tell whether he was adjusting it or itching at his antennae – but given his history with Zim’s ingenious disguises and how vocal he is in ensuring Zim knows how much he doesn’t appreciate them, it’s more likely to be the latter.
“What was what?”
Zim squints at him. The contact lenses used in his own disguise exaggerate the action greatly, allowing him to really stare directly at Skoodge, and make sure the other Invader knows exactly where he’s staring.
Just in case he doesn’t know. Zim always likes to make sure Skoodge is aware of how much Zim is judging his every action.
Which he is currently doing. Harshly.
Skoodge, wholly unaware, or maybe just that indifferent, only blinks dumbly back at Zim.
There are no more sounds of coughing, nor hacking, nor of anything else that might be worthy enough cause for stopping the current mission.
Which… means that Skoodge probably wasn’t the one responsible for the noise.
Zim turns around to stop facing him. But his squint of suspicion never disappears fully. “… Nevermind.”
He fixes his own wig, using the back of his hand to push some of the bright pink hair out of his face, and then readjusts his grip on his tacky little red wagon full of boxes. With one small beckoning wave at his companion behind him, he continues his march onwards through the sidewalk.

I can’t help but feel the victim blaming is a side effect of the writing.
The game was built around Silver Snow and the fact that as a teacher you have to fight against your former student. The game even ties the hero routes to the Three Poisons, meaning that the attachment Byleth has to Edelgard can potentially lead them down a dark path. But in practice this means the player has to unlock the ability to choose the bad end, meaning that even if they pick Edelgard as their House leader they may not be at the point where Byleth’s decision making process is compromised when they get to the end of White Clouds. This means that “not getting close to Edelgard” is just as effective, if not moreso, than getting close then realizing you need to fight her. If you ignore Edelgard, be it while teaching the Eagles or simply picking another class, you don’t have the option to royally screw things up.
If the player doesn’t care about Edelgard, then the writing doesn’t work and the game fucking knows this. So it tries every trick in the book to make us care. “Isn’t it so sad you have to fight her? Isn’t there some way you could get along? Maybe if you picked her, you could have led her back to the righteous path. She was manipulated, and it’s not like the other parties are all innocent either.”
FUCK. OFF. GAME.
I think one way the game goes wrong is that Edelgard had her fall long before we met her. At the beginning of the game, she’s already at the point where she arranges the assassination of her classmates like a goddamn school shooter and I can’t help but compare this to Keiwa from Kamen Rider Geats.
Keiwa fell. He fell hard and we watched it. He goes from a character who would normally be a lead in this franchise, who calls back to so many past leads, he goes from that to this
youtube
There was foreshadowing, there was how the show wasn’t afraid to call his shortsightedness and occasional holier than thou attitude out, as well as him slipping. His entire story has been building to this. And that’s why people care about him as his sanity deteriorates. We know that before this, even if it was for his sister’s sake, he was a good person before the Kekking frog (seriously, his name is Kekera and he's looking for laughs) orchestrated his fall, turning Keiwa someone do anything for the power of the Goddess in order to create his “ideal” world.
Edelgard, on the other hand, was at this point from the beginning, and the only time we see who she used to be was in Dimitri’s flashback where she was already bossy. The writing would have worked better if it had her journey to villain, rather than expecting the audience to feel bad for someone who was already a villain. Hell, that's what they did for the recruitable Eagles and they're my favorite class.

OA C1 author's notes
welcome to the new home for these stinky notes. man i can tell i was just so excited to share things with ppl smh.
anyway on with the show
Officially AU from 184, and of course, some events have been shuffled around so I could shoehorn them in (detailed notes at the bottom).
Mostly Tanjirō-centric with some Muzan sprinkled in every so often. Occasional Demon Slayer(s) POV; I’mma be real with you, they can probably be skipped if you don’t give a shit about the DS goons.
First arc’s song: Valky — Any Time
Astral projection: I am a very literal/gullible reader and I accept everything I read at face value, so there might be other people like me, heh. When Muzan talks about tethers, paths, lines, astral projection, etc, he is not literally doing any of that. It’s just visuals to help him (and readers) logic his way around as he uses his telepathy to bad-touch Tanjirō’s brain.
Notes regarding going AU from CH. 184:
Deaths: Nearly everyone should have survived, albeit with varying amounts of serious and non-serious injuries. I just can’t handle the death(s) of major characters ;w; Shinobu does NOT live (I wish I could have her live, ‘cos I hecking love her, but her death was a little too hard to come back from haha. I could think of a few scenarios where she manages to scrape by, but she ultimately doesn’t add anything to the plot so I have chosen to let her death have meaning). Oh, yeah, and Tamayo is officially dead but I mean… she died this chapter.
Sequence of events (in canon): I believe Yushirō’s cat delivering the remaining Tamayo drugs, her explanation of them, and Muzan searching through her cells to find the answer, all happen around CH. 191-ish. Since I couldn’t quite clearly tell if Muzan had drugs 1-3 inside of him already and needed 4, or if he only had 1-2 inside of him and needed 3-4 from the demon cat, I decided to have him be afflicted by all four when he was first initially poisoned, and then he learns everything about them from searching Tamayo’s cells while in the forest. While some side effects do remain from a plot standpoint, I don’t think the nuances of this particular scenario will affect my plot overall. Muzan will still definitely suffer side effects as a result of these poisons, but not to their full extent. [FUTURE HILDA HERE: pretty sure I misremembered and the cat actually injected healy-boopies into the good kids, but it still doesn't matter XD]
[Humanification] Well, he obviously doesn’t become human, and he canonically neutralizes it on his own so that’s out. Added bonus: he now knows how to reverse-reverse engineer what Tamayo did, meaning he could probably humanify anyone he wants? Because that’s something Muzan would do?
[Rapid Ageing] Yep, Muzan is now a 10,000 year old vampire loli daddy. The explanation takes place later after CH184, so therefore he wouldn’t have been 10,000 until that point, but that nuance is too much for my poor brain to figure out. Sure, I could use cues from the time announcements to figure out his proper age but…
[Cannot split apart] Well, he better not get caught like that ever again in the future kek
[Cell destruction at weak points inflicted by Yoriichi] This should still affect Muzan as well, but there isn’t really anyone available with the knowledge to take advantage of this weakness. Yushirō would know and would have told the other Slayers, but Tanjirō wouldn’t know, as this knowledge becomes known in like CH194-ish. Since Muzan knows about the drugs’ effects and/or is more careful, he will likely synthesize a ‘cure’ for the drugs in due time. As of now, his body is simply regenerating the damage. So I suppose he would treat them as permanent handicaps to his ‘energy reservoirs.’ In essence, his battle power has decreased (as he has stated in the manga). For the purpose of the fic, I would say his body has ‘naturally’ fought off the second stage of the drug and is attempting to autonomously decompose the third and then fourth stage. Muzan even considered dedicating his mental capacities to dealing with it, but obviously didn’t because he judged it to not be worth his effort and is fully confident his superior god-like body will take care of it—and if it doesn’t, I mean, he has all the time in the world (again) to deal with it later. Plus, like, he needs a lab and he’s currently shacking up with Tanjirō in a hole he dug up.
THE FOREST AND CAVE: I had to flip back and forth through so many chapters to make sure I wasn’t having a fever dream. (In the manga). There is a scene where Nezuko runs through a field of rice paddies towards the city, and in the distance are some spare forests and mountains. So… [roughly applies artistic license juice into your eyes] for my nefarious purposes, it is now a dense forest with a lot of random caves.

The problem of evil and other trivialities
The problem of evil is considered an intelligent point against the idea of an omnipotent, omniscient, and benevolent God – by people of either mediocre intelligence or high dishonesty. The first person to state the problem of evil was (allegedly) Epicurus, who was a pagan and lived before Christ, so we don’t know what he would say about Christianity anyway. But all the variations of the so-called problem are overall the same, so let’s just use the quote that is attributed to him
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
The primary jump in logic here is that God allowing the existence of evil is a sign of God’s malevolence. I mean, “allowing the existence of evil” sounds bad, and so does “evil”, but… throwing a vague and unspecific badly sounding term doesn’t make for much logical reasoning.
The problem with the problem of evil is that it acts like evil is that thing that shouldn’t exist at all, without telling us what is that thing and explaining why shouldn’t it exist at all. Like a magician’s trick loses its magic once understood, the problem of evil simply doesn’t hold up as a problem if you only pin down the definition of its core concept.
It’s a trick, not a logical argument. And here I’m going to expose its strings and bring an end to the illusion of its magic. I mean, I’ve already covered the fallacy of the problem of evil in my original essay about Christianity. Now, I’m just focusing on this subject and expanding my thoughts about it.
What is evil, anyway?
To deconstruct the problem of evil we need to define evil. Some people define evil as any or all suffering. And what is suffering? A feeling of pain or unhappiness. So, evil is any amount of pain or unhappiness. This already sounds like complaining about any little inconvenience. To get things more serious, we can use the definition that says evil is significant suffering. This means that evil is a significant amount of pain or unhappiness. That’s better, but that is not the only definition of evil.
John Kekes (kek) writes that an action is evil if "(1) it causes grievous harm to (2) innocent victims, and it is (3) deliberate, (4) malevolently motivated, and (5) morally unjustifiable". This means that evil is any occurrence of malevolently deliberate significant and unjust suffering of any innocent victim. To make it simpler, we can say evil is a significant and deliberate injustice. Now we are just looking for definitions, so let’s move further.
Since we are discussing religious topics, let’s have some religious definitions. And in Christianity, evil is sin. As for sin, in the original Hebrew Scripture, the word for sin is khata (or chata), which is a word for moral failure or failure to fulfill a goal. In the Scriptural context, the goal was living according to God’s Law, which was considered the same as living morally. Regardless whether evil is about failing at morality, following God’s Law, or both, this definition means that evil isn’t an actual concept but a failure at living up to another concept.
While we are discussing religious evil, let’s go for the Christian representation of all things evil, which is Satan. Which means a malevolent entity that accuses humans of not deserving God’s love and is willing to employ temptation or entrapment to accomplish this.
That’s enough for definitions. While two definitions of evil state that significance is required for things to be evil, the problem of evil already implies that evil is significant enough that God should deal with it at once if it exists in our world.
But if we know a thing about Christianity, what is the significance of evil in our world? Let’s put things into perspective.
Life eternal, anyone?
Whatever you define evil as suffering, injustice, moral failing, or Satan’s activity, I have just one question for you. Who would complain about having to experience any of it in their mortal lives, after the first million years of life eternal? The promise of a free of suffering, or whatever unpleasant, afterlife is one of the most basic and known concepts about Christianity.
I mean, I don’t blame Epicurus for not accounting for that. He was a pagan Greek from 341-270 BC, and Greeks had generally a shitty afterlife (unless they were gods’ favorites/the top 1%). But it’s baffling that everybody is forgetting the subject of the afterlife, in any year of our Lord, and is being considered a serious thinker.
Whatever is your definition of evil, this concept is just a part of a temporal state of existence, and God already has promised an everlasting existence where you won’t need to be bothered by it anymore. In the face of this infinite and eternal reward, any prior issue or hardship, extended over any limited period of time period, is insignificant. For any natural number x, x divided by infinity equals zero - this is a pure and irrefutable mathematic. According to no objective metric, there is any significance whatsoever for any kind of suffering or any other issue you can have with your mortal life. Not when you look at the entirety of God’s creation, instead of just being selective about it.
Considering that God has created existence in such a way that evil has zero actual significance in the grand scheme of things, God already has prevented evil from having any objective significance. A finite amount of suffering across a finite period of time? Insignificant in the face of the life eternal. Injustice that happens to you during your mortal life? Will be recompensated in the afterlife. Moral failings? Will be judged. Satan? Will be dealt with. The problem of evil? None whatsoever.
But why let evil at all?
Even if we have to humor the definition of evil where the amount of suffering doesn’t have to be significant, and any amount is a problem, regardless of its temporality - the claim of a benevolent God having to prevent it at once is a fallacy. First of all, we are talking about a God who was willing to give His life on a cross. Second, God already has created beings that do not have to fear any kind of evil, they are called angels. And God got bored with the angels because doing good was always easy for them. This is why God has created us humans and gave us an opportunity to gain a throne alongside Jesus’ (Matthew 19:27-28) and to be judges/rulers of all angels (1 Corinthians 6:3).
In the existence created by God, evil isn’t a problem, but a challenge for a very specified reward. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to demonstrate that we are worthy of being recognized as the angels’ superiors. Without us demonstrating our worthiness, God would do angels an injustice by appointing us above them. Also, God didn’t let us be exposed to suffering in the first place. Adam and Eve could live in Paradise, but they’ve chosen to not trust God, disobey him, and not even be able to own what they did. God simply gave them and us an opportunity to show what we are made of.
The so-called problem of evil does not come from an informed analysis of the existence created by God but from ignorance about how it functions and for what purpose. If the problem truly has been stated by a pagan philosopher, it was incredibly stupid to not realize that he couldn’t be speaking of the Christian God he had no possibility of knowing.
According to everything we know about the Christian God, the only problem we can have is not of evil, but of ignorance. God is great and He has created a world where we truly can demonstrate our greatness.

Yandere Cendris
Content warning: kidnapping, imprisonment, persecution
This contains pretty dark stuff, because Cendris is simply evil and infatuation is only going to make him worse.
I hated every second of seeing him on screen, so obviously writing 2600 words of imagines about him spiraling into being even worse is a reasonable conclusion, kek.
Note: since Roman’s and Liora’s routes basically have the same plots used, including MC’s memory wiped, MC breaking the memory spell and coming back, and Cendris’s bigotry, I tried to make this headcanon with both routes’ continuation in mind. However, due to the fact that Cendris is much more villainous, evil and cunning in Roman’s route, that’ll be his characterisation.
Two endings, good and bad.
.
In Cendris’s opinion, sending MC back without memories was more merciful and lenient than optimal. And so was the law that did not foresee a necessity of eliminating such liability permanently – but it was better than nothing.
He could finally get some rest, without his thoughts constantly running in circles around that human that snuck in where she didn’t belong.
But not for long. Soon, he found that MC somehow returned to her partner – with all the memory spell in vain, all the procedures tricked, he knew he had to act to prevent any further hostile action from humans. The law failed already once and it was time to take matters in his own hands.
It crossed his mind to find a way to get rid of MC quickly – on the other hand, MC’s comeback was a mystery and an extremely dangerous precedent. He couldn’t just remove the threat while ignoring a much bigger disaster that would surely follow, but something had to be done.
Since he was involved with anti-human extremists already, he used them to kidnap MC from the cafe – but no, he wouldn’t let them have her. It was only so her disappearance would cause as much trouble for the cafe as possible, without the repercussions and scandal that would undoubtedly break out if the human was found dead. He secures a way out and re-kidnaps her from her captors – and fakes her death to them, so she’s off their radars.
This also lets MC believe that he saved her and that he really means well by keeping her under key. After all, there are bigots after her life out there. She’s not stupid enough to buy it entirely, but she’s be incomparably more stubborn and uncooperative if she knew the truth. And Cendris needs her to cooperate at least to some degree.
As he tries to figure out the mystery of her memory coming back and outsmart her to get her to slip the information out, and now that there’s no pressure of time or any external disturbances, he find himself enjoying the conversations. It’s more of interrogation than an actual talk, and doesn’t actually make MC any more keen to share what she knows though, but Cendris believes he’s getting somewhere with his investigation and starts looking forward to it.
When he analyses MC’s expressions and body language, when he analyses her words, he focuses his attention so entirely on the task, that the world seems to disappear around him.
But when he’s getting more at ease, MC is getting more and more suspicious. His true views show no matter how he tries to convince her that he’s not her enemy. She’s wary of him, even when he tries to pretend to show goodwill. He can’t exactly hide what he thinks. Not when a large chunk of his worldview and his motives are down to the fact that he thinks of himself superior to Roman or Liora. Roman was led astray and has fallen from an upstanding member of elite forces to a convicted criminal – maybe that ugly aspect had always been hiding in him. It must have been. And Liora? The woman who seemed to be captivated by the idea of sneaking antisocial, possibly harmful element back to society? Oh no, Cendris has morals – unlike her!
MC – who’s observant on one hand, and doesn’t exactly have anything else to think about – picks up all the cues. Her resistance grows more and more with every passing week, just as Cendris’s attachment grows too.
But she doesn’t exactly have any options for escape, so her main coping strategy becomes just closing herself off. She’s already tired and mentally worn out by all the mind games Cendris tries to play to make her slip – to the point of complete exhaustion. She doesn’t know when he’ll be in the mood to torment her again, whether he will keep her in constant vigilance for the whole day, or will he just get bored after a few questions. She grows distant, barely paying attention to him – she just gives up the thought that feigning cooperation would eventually lead her anywhere closer to freedom. She stops talking to him.
And that change frustrates him to no end, but he doesn’t know why. He takes it out all on her, but as she curls silently, expecting a hit but not trying to fight it, it’s an even more bitter sight.
Like a battered dog, it crosses his mind – and fills him with even more anger. But he doesn’t think of MC like of a pet, no. Pets can be loved and pampered by their owners and he hates the implications of affection towards a mere human. Even if it infuriates him that he’s not getting any of her attention anymore.
An implication of a pet rubs him the wrong way for one more reason, but he would never admit that, not to anyone, not to himself. He wants MC to reach out to him, to see him – during their conversations, he knew she was looking at him, that she was observing him as carefully as he observed her  So he wanted her to look at him as intensely as before and more than before, to be attracted to him like to another person. Even if he himself doesn’t consider her a person.
He can’t get her to react to his words, he can’t get her to look at him again – and it makes him experience feelings he’s never going to acknowledge. As her silent resistance grows, so grows his anger. His benevolent mask drops and every time the longing for her gets almost, almost recognisable, he punishes MC for that, which leaves a bitter aftertaste every time his outbursts meet nothing but passive fear. That’s not the reaction he wants to get, but in general, he does not know what he feels to MC and what he wants from MC, and he’s making it MC’s problem.
MC can’t make heads or tails from his behaviour – he’s become completely unpredictable. Her character is breaking under the conditions, and she’s just trying to obey quietly, avoid provoking him in any way, but it’s not helping – she does never know if her silent compliance will get him to leave or lash out. There seems to be no pattern, and he’s only getting moodier and moodier with time. The uncertainty and stress starts eating MC’s mind, on top of the distress she was already experiencing enough for her to lock herself in her own head.
His mind is getting more and more chaotic and out of control. He can’t be home without thinking of her, but at the same time his work is suffering from his constant lack of focus. He’s frustrated, and the frustration only grows as he can’t process his more and more uncomfortable feelings. He blames MC – and humans. The constant state of anger and blaming everyone around for his misery makes him only more radical and more vicious. The more and more he desires MC, the more and more he loathes everything that led to her staying in the magical world – he cannot accept his own feelings, so he goes to extremes to take it out on everyone whom he considers guilty, and as a part of law enforcement and a respected officer with good reputation, he has virtually unlimited opportunities to sabotage his enemies, as long as he remains stealthy and makes sure that no pattern in his arrests shows. He believes his morals are growing stronger, obviously – the vengeful drive is, in his mind, righteous and noble. He devotes himself to the most extreme movements he was avoiding earlier and brings his anti-human campaign to the full swing – and as he earlier preferred to work from shadows, he wants to make a statement now and needs everyone to watch it. Only this way he can change the whole society to be the way he wants it to be.
His first target is obviously the cafe – Sweet Echantments are not only the reason why MC was there, the cafe is the stain on the world for helping criminals. For him, whoever committed a crime, even a small one, is irredeemably evil and does not deserve any personhood – even his old friend. Allowing criminals back to society is one of the most dangerous ideas, second only to the idea of the existence of humans.
But while the cafe is his first target, it’s not his first victim – it’s the last of his plans, its downfall shall be the cherry on top of his successful plan.
When the time comes, his first arrest could be Liora – the perpetrator and the saboteur of the safety of the magical world – or Roman who was a wolf in sheep’s clothing all the time Cendris believed they were friends. But he doesn’t frame them immediately.
There’s a better one to start with. Emeril.
She is an exceptionally easy target considering her lost brother, even if she technically didn’t commit any crime before. But he’s eager to show that he’s able to send even someone like her to prison. In the meantime, as he prepares to frame her, he starts weaving a net around the regular staff – he needs it to be already in motion when he makes his first move more openly. He knows that if he leaves Liora too much room for defence, she’ll fight like a lioness. But what he needs is her walking right into his trap in attempts to save her staff and her cafe.
His visits become a nightmare for MC as he’s always bringing horrifying news. And he wants MC to watch the world she loved burn to ashes on her eyes.
If things end up badly:
Cendris not only manages to frame the key personnel, his plan to bring down Liora works better than he expected. Sweet Enchantments closing completely disgraced, even after Liora used all the means she had to save it is seen as an excellent display of competence. There is a lot of meticulously prepared “evidence” to support the arrests and trials, and the success gives him a reputation of a hero who isn’t afraid to investigate, even if the subject is highly connected to influencial people and even against the misguided public opinion.
Liora’s downfall means also that all her morals become disgraced – if an anti-magical conspiracy was made out of drive to make the magical world more hospitable and less hostile to the disadvantaged, anyone wishing the same is risking being subjected to the outrage of moral panics and accusations of treason.
Cendris becomes a star overnight.
But doesn’t let this sudden fame just happen and pass though – he uses it. A mix of framing his opponents, with his new position of a moral authority is a way to powerful combo for a small opposition to fight. He starts actively engaging in magical politics.
The regulations he pushes are not just strictly targeting humans, but also focus on the enforcement– to the point of inadequacy of the persecution. The existence rare half-human magicians is criminalised soon too – so Silvain is forced to run and hide due to his half-human blood and is never seen again. But at least there’s hope he survived – many of those living in secret didn’t, especially when the secret town of Zaville finally fell into hands of the government.
This all is what he gloats about when he’s tormenting MC again. In his vengeance he makes sure she knows what happens to people who were taking care of her – or even just were nice to her briefly. He wants her to know the disasters she brought upon them, and the tragedies her sole existence caused.
If he can’t have her, he’ll destroy her.
When she cries and breaks down, it’s because of him – and the fact that his actions are affecting her that deeply that she mentally breaks to pieces, is the closest he can get to have her think of him, forever.
The disappointment and yearning dulls over time as he grows to savour her pain, until she’s nothing but an empty shell.
But an empty shell can’t think of anything. And this way nothing can distract her from him.
If things end up favourably to MC:
Cendris’s bigotry starts to put off some, and some find his scheme to be too sketchy. As his more and more extreme and violent actions started being frowned upon and it’s more and more clear that he doesn’t care about law in his hatred anymore – this gives Liora a chance to strike back, with Zola’s help.
While there’s not many to stop him, he’s being watched from all sides, either by those concerned by his obnoxious extremism, or those who try to profit from his failure, and he eventually makes a mistake that leads to his ultimate downfall.
His final operation is really karma striking back at him – he commits a good deed by tracking down human traffickers and leading Bejana to them, trying to link Sweet Enchantments to them. He would have been deemed a hero for “saving helpless humans”, but Elyscia has already collected enough evidence on him to tear the red carpet from under his feet. And yes, she got the information from the corrupt magician oligarchs that didn’t like him sniffing around their illegal businesses.
With his reputation in shambles and his frauds coming to light one after another, Zola manages to win Liora’s case and soon all of the Sweet Enchantments staff gets a chance to have another trial – when it comes to the dates of the trials, media have already made them into helpless victims of Cendris’s villainy. There’s no other way but to declare them innocent.
The last – but the most condemning – evidence is MC.
Cendris could easily slip away from the growing list of offences admitted to his name, but the sole thought of MC getting back to her partner makes him see red. In spite of Bejana sniffing around his house he attempts to sneak MC away, but his arrogance leads to his downfall. The missing human is found locked up in the oh so reputable Mr. Swiftbane’s home, Bejana catching him red-handed.
MC is finally freed.
She returns to her partner, their reunion moving the hearts of many magicians struck with the tragic love story with a happy ending. The ending isn’t as happy in reality – MC might be (relatively) free but is just a shadow of her old self and the medial buzz doesn’t help her recover, so she’s given protection – first as an important witness, then is given a choice – to let them wipe her memory and return to her world without the trauma or stay as and apply for citizenship with her partner. The choice is hers and she weighs her options carefully – even if her previous self would just immediately reject the memory wipe, now she’s giving it a serious thought.
Cendris’s trial and conviction makes many seek for more fair approach to humans, challenging outdated and unfavourable. While it doesn’t happen overnight, and the outrage at Cendris’s deeds doesn’t bring a breakthrough after it calms down, the magical world does get a push to become more open and more supportive to both its citizens as well as those who want to become citizens.
From behind the bars, Cendris can only watch the world change the opposite way he desired, and clench his fists reading toothrottingly sweet articles about MC’s seemingly happy life with her partner, first upon her return, then about her as a naturalised wife of a magician.
But no matter how much he’d rage about it, he can’t hurt her anymore.

I’m honestly about done with gta online. I can’t handle with my depression and anxiety. It doesn’t matter how good I get it’s so easy for people to get cheap lucky easy kills that I just don’t FUCKING win fights anymore. Isaac does. All the content on the channel HIS gameplay because I’m not good enough. I know our channel will take off eventually but not with my gameplay. He’s actually good. It’s that simple. I constantly lose to people who easily beats by alot and sometimes I can’t even kill them a single time. I’ve spent a few years now trying really hard to learn to be good to know everything I need to know and I did it. I’m good at the game. I’m above average I’ve even been doing better lately I’ve been sniping people out of cars and MKII and all sorts of stuff but it doesn’t matter because I can I have 10 amazing clips and one little encounter ruins my confidence and self esteem. I got the PERFECT kek yesturday. I mean the kek I dreamed about I thought I’d get a sloppy version but I nailed it so perfect the timing a single homing rocket and finished with the mg it was amazing and the some cheating asshole throwing sticky bomb from an rc killed me and it fucking ruined it even though I’m not a beach player and I’ve been learning for like 2 years and for almost 3 weeks I’ve been trying to get this kek and finally did it perfect and it just ruined it I felt like shit at the game like usual. And then today I sniped like 4 people out of their vehicles I’m sniping SO good and getting great keks and this fucking asshole kills me in a MKII when I’m not paying attention and the. Gets another lucky kill and another lucky kill and I just turned off my console because I genuinely want to take out the disc and snap it. I’ve been playing since 2013. I took a break in 2016 and came back 2019 and the last 4 years I’ve become a content creator and a very good tryhard who can even beat cheaters I can kill someone in godmode I can kill someone perma off radar I’ve killed orb spammers I’ve killed lag switchers I’ve killed booters but when someone gets lucky I just can’t fucking take it. It makes me feel like I’m so fucking shit at the game and it HURTS because I don’t care how fucking pathetic it is but it’s all I really have. All I have is this YouTube channel. I have my boyfriend but I don’t have many hobbies anymore and this is what I do this is what I’m good at this is what I’m supposed to be good at I’m supposed to beat these people I put everything into the content and channel trying to preserve not even show off if we get views cool but ME and ISSAAC I want to look back and go wow. Look how fucking good we were look at the shit we did look at these clips look at these videos and so yeah it hurts when I feel like I’m shit at the one thing I’m really trying in and the one thing in suppised to be good at it drives me crazy it makes me si mad I honestly don’t know anymore I really don’t know if I can play this game. But I love it. So much it feels like home but it makes me feel so bad losing these rare fights because my brain is broken and I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t know what to do. Help please.

Larry makes surprisingly good mission control
[January 28, 2023]
{Haji:}
Stray musing
Terra: The Voices are excited, but this all feels wrong.
Arven: Excited how? Like it's a new challenge or that things are going as planned?
Larry: Hm. Well if They're behind it, I'm sure everything will be fine. There's usually a motive behind it.
Terra: [They both turn to see him. Pleasantly surprised] Larry? What are you doing out here?
Larry: [Dry amusement] Looking for you. Boss's orders. [Holds out a page to her] In case you haven't heard, does this mean anything to you?
Terra: [Confused as she takes it. Even more confused as she sees that yes, she's been hearing this a lot, but how would he know?] "Get diploma. Beat Nemona."?? [Looks up at him as her friend takes the page to read it too] I'm back at school now. I don't see why your boss should care about me graduating though.
Larry: [Shrugs] It could be that, but after everything else you've been through, I would think you'd learn by now things aren't always as straightforward as they seem.
[There's a brief ripple across his image, and she swears for a moment he changed colors to reveal a redheaded man with bright grin eyes. She shakes her head as though she imagined it, but Larry merely places a finger to his lips to quiet her.]
Arven: [Noticed nothing as he reads the page] Beating Nemona is friendly engagement, right? [Softly] I hope she hasn't gotten involved in all this...
Larry: [Sighs] I don't make the rules. Believe me, I've tried. Is there anywhere you haven't made it to yet?
Terra: [Slightly suspicious of him now, but they'll talk later.] How would I know if I've never been there?
Arven: I guess it doesn't matter. If everything has changed, we may as well check out the places we've been too.
Larry: Good luck with that then. I've delivered the message, and have my own stuff to get back to.
 {Trollkitten:}
Larry: [Sighs] I don't make the rules. Believe me, I've tried.
kek
{Newbie:}
i take it his "boss" is Wyatt? and if so... what's Wyatt's investment in all of this? 🤔
{Haji:}
I think most of those aware of all this are invested in the fixing of the universe right now (whether it be the colliding or separating of worlds, it's really shaking things). Question then is who all knows about it? Although I laugh to think Wyatt is staying out but urgently keeping tabs through Larry because they realized how unstable Paldea is during Scarlet. If it's getting worse, we don't want to risk anyone else getting corrupted by all this, so send in someone both already corrupt and has control of themselves around Glitchery 😂 More specifically, I guess Wyatt would be concerned about a Randomized region full of Pokemon that shouldn't exist because his was much the same. His Pokemon are now one of a kind that the world straightened out but they were born in chaos
{Trollkitten:}
For some reason I feel like whatever the anniversary run is will be important to making connections between RV+ and the anniversary run. I'm certain that there must be some connection (a bold claim to make when we don't even know what that run is, but I have a hunch that can't be ignored), I just have no way of knowing what it is rn I guess if anyone's qualified to investigate this mess, it's probably Larry
{Haji:}
Same. As I said before, it's too early but I just feel like anniversary could be a big one
{Brespawn:}
Beating Nemona is friendly engagement, right?
I'm now imagining Terra starting a fist fight against Nemona. :tppLUL:
{Haji:}
Arven has been around us to know that IS a legit question with her :LUL:

______________________________________________________________
I woke up with another nightmare yet again, sweat and tears ran down my body and face. I sat up and pulled a knee to my chest, my head laying in my free hand. I looked out the window to the moon, a small sickly and sad smile creeping onto my face, before my eyes forced themselves shut and the smile faded, a sigh escaping my lips. I wiped a tear that had fallen away and climbed out of the bed. I walked over to my shirt that had been lazily laid over the back of a chair and pulled it on walking out to the balcony of my small apartment. I looked down to the empty street below, the small number of people that walked back and forth along the sidewalks paid each other, and me, no mind. They merely kept to themselves, in a hurry to get back home and hopefully stay out of danger. I looked up at the night sky, and leaned on my railing, allowing my mind to wander, only for it to run back to that last day, and the last day I saw him…                                                        FLASHBACK         Me and Khonshu had gotten ourselves into another fight, the third this week. What we were once arguing about lost to the trail of time, now there was only senseless yelling.
“No, khon, you’re wrong! Just because it may be right for you, doesn’t mean it is for others! Hell! Even Ammit wouldn’t do that and look where the fuck she is!!!” I yelled, tears running down my face, my fist clenched and my eyes widened and bloodshot. I watched as Khonshu visibly stiffened and though he may not have had eyes, I could feel his gaze on me.
“You know what?! I’m done! I’m fucking done! You don't have to deal with me ever again!” I yelled grabbing some of my things and pulling them into a bag before slinging it over my shoulder and heading to the door, throwing it open only to feel a familiar hand around my arm
“wait, no, I’m sorry…” Khonshu said looking into my eyes, “sorry won’t fix this, won’t fix us Khonshu… I’m leaving” I said pulling my arm from his grasp and walking out the door to go to an empty room with my things, I threw them onto the bed and sat down on it, feeling the cold fabric enveloping my lower half, I simply place my head into my hands, letting the tears fall. I looked out at the door sighing, I stood up and walked out, deciding to take a walk.
As soon as I was able to make it out I was blindsided by something stabbing into my side, I looked down at the object. My left hand grabbed hold of it and my right went across my body to hold where it had penetrated. I quickly began losing my balance and falling over.
I thought to myself ‘wait, am I dying? No, I can’t be… that’s not possible… is it?’ my head hit the ground, and the next thing I knew I was there, under the moonlight, in a pool of blood. My eyes slowly began drifting closed as I slowly lost my life                                                  IN THE PRESENT…         I sighed wiping the tears from my eyes, my left hand going to that same spot on my side. I slowly returned to my room, before quickly changing into some outside-worthy clothing, simply a pair of pants and a t-shirt with a jacket and a beanie, before grabbing my keys and wallet before walking out of the apartment and to the elevator and calling it up. Once it arrived I walked into it and pressed the button for the first floor. As soon as it opened I walked out, nodding to the receptionist and heading to the convenience store a few stores away and paying for an ED/O/C, before walking out and popping the tab open and heading down a few street blocks only to be hit by something. I fell, the drink flying and spilling beside me, I looked over to the man, only to see him in… wait, is that Khonshus armor? I didn't have time to think before a jackal attacked me. I rolled it off and ran to the shadows, my armor running over my body. It was black and F/C, my eyes glew purple and I ran towards the jackal and jumped up, a staff of shadows forming in my hands, as gravity took hold and I fell I plunged the staff into the creature’s back.         The staff went through the chest and slowly it fizzled into dust as I pulled the staff out and it fizzled away as well. I ran over to the guy seeing another begin running towards us. I grabbed him and pulled him in through the shadows and when we immerged we were somewhere else in the city, in an alleyway, my armor slowly fizzled away and I watched the man, suddenly I felt a presence behind me. I slowly stood up straight after making sure the man was relatively okay, even though I knew he was, i turned around, my height growing to where i was only a few inches shorter than the god “Hello khonshu…” i said with a neutral expression on my face
“y-y/n?”  he said, a small stutter wavering through his voce
“Long time no see…” i said Tags for the people who liked my post saying this was coming out:  @wlfia @prophecyflame @1storminsummer @beautifulweaselranchgarden @urleftball @poeticine @strangersomeone @sporadicoafshepherdpainter-blog

Im not sure where i read this but a jealous Nahoya that hate fucks you with his gun in your mouth.
this was Not supposed to be as long as it is.
warnings: gunplay, slapping, hes so mean, spitting, dumbification and humiliation, he calls you a filthy disgusting whore lolol
i didnt proofread kek
he saw you acting all buddy buddy with his twin fucking brother, is he supposed to stay still? nah, that’s not how nahoya rolls. yeah you’re close to souya, he knows that, but you were almost sitting on his fucking lap for gods sake.
nahoya’s possessive. hes super fucking possessive and doesn’t allow anyone to touch whats his. the collar on your neck proves that.
he grabs your hand and pulls you into an empty room and immediately pins you to the wall by your throat, hand wrapped around your neck as he squeezes at the sides, making your eyes roll to the back of your skull.
“you’re so brave baby, you know that?” he mumbles before pressing his thumb on your lower lip, silently asking you to open your mouth for him. you watch his eyes fixated on your lips, as you roll your tongue out. he then grabs your jaw and spits into your awaiting tongue, watching his spit drip out down your chin before slapping your cheek. you let out a loud moan, eyes unfocusing as you grip his shirt.
“what an actual whore, cant believe im dating this thing.” he mumbles before moving to the bed, sitting on the edge and spreading his legs. “come here,” you walk towards him and he grips your wrist, pulling you to sit on your knees between his legs.
“colour?” he asks you while threading his fingers through your hair. “green,” you mumble, leaning into his hand before retracting it, leaving you whining for him. “what? you want my attention?” he asks and you nod at him desperately, just want him to fuck you into the floor. “why? wasn’t souya enough for you? are you that much of an attention whore?” you shake your head, tears welling up in your eyes as you look at him and grip his sweats in both your fists.
“n-no, no no i just want yours, only you please ‘hoya,” you say quickly before he grins at you, letting out a laugh that makes you shake in shame, humiliation rapidly flooding your mind.
“want my cock? is that it?” he purrs, lowering his head to yours, lips brushing against yours, but hes mean, hes so so mean. he pulls away just when you were about to kiss him. you let out a sob that was stuck in your throat, as you move closer towards his dick, eyes begging for him to do something.
“please, ‘hoya, i didnt mean to, i just need you and you only, please do something i feel like im gonna burst,” you slur, head resting on his thigh before he shakes his thigh to move you away from him.
“you’re disgusting, dont touch me,” he mumbles as he pulls out his gun from his pants, pointing it to your head. “colour?” he asks and you let out a whimper, eyes slowly closing and you mutter ‘green’.
“you dont deserve to touch me today, filthy attention whores like you deserve absolutely nothing from me.” he starts trailing the gun down your face slowly before it reaches your lips. brain melted out of your head, you mindlessly open your mouth, licking at the glock in front of you.
“what a good baby, suck on my glock like how you’d suck my cock angel face, go on,” he grins before shoving his gun further into your mouth, “wanted you to go stupid as im fuckin you with it, but apparently you’re already goin dumb just by sucking on that thing,” he scoffs, “that’s fuckin’ pathetic. i didn’t train you like this.” he lets out before shoving his gun further, throat constricting around the weapon, causing you to drool more spit out, making an absolute mess out of it.
you don’t even know if the weapon’s safe to use, you dont know if there are still bullets inside, he can kill you right now if he wanted to. the thought itself made you moan out like a slut in heat as you brought yourself closer to him, grinding your soppy cunt against his leg, still sucking on his gun, eyes completely focused on him.
his concentration was fully on you, over a thousand thoughts taking over his mind as he see’s your pathetic form humping his leg, his cock twitching in his pants as he groans and pulls your hair, shoving the gun down your throat. “you that needy? just wanna cum? doesn’t matter how, hm?” he’s taunting you at this point and you just let whines and whimpers pour out of your mouth, muffled by the weapon. “go on, then. if you do actually cum, i’ll reward you, you’ll get fucked like the disgusting messy slut that you are,”
motivated by his words, you let the gun hang in your mouth, as you wrap your arms around his leg to steady yourself, rutting faster on him trying to get yourself to climax. he lets out a snort at this and you feel your tears rolling down your face, before clenching your thighs, grabbing at his sweats as your orgasm hits you full force, squeezing your eyes shut, letting out broken moans, sobbing at the waves of pleasure.
“woah, you actually did it!” he laughs as you pant, chest heaving. face stained with tears and drool dripping down your chin, eyes losing focus as you look at him and whine. “tsk, okay okay, i made a promise and i’ll give you what you want,” he says before taking his weapon out of your mouth and pulling you up to the bed with him, laying you down and climbing on top of you.
“now then, shall we start?”
god if ur seeing this …. Please.

Hehehehehehehehehehe
Ya correct that it is related to my pjsk+jjk AU, but don’t worry! Ya actually don’t have to know much about jjk to know my AU! :Dc
Since this AU is actually just the jjk cast being in the world of pjsk, so like think of it as a jjk modern AU but the modern world is just the world of pjsk~
Okay. So how does this relate to this comic ya asking? Welllll….
Short answer: Airi almost died from being attacked when running to Shizuku home to try and save her
Long answer? Under the cut kek
Where to start… hmmm.
Okay…. So this comic is based on a future Arc that I’ve been thinking about within my AU. However it does need prior context to explain how the events within that arc happened in the first place. So without further adoooo.
TW: Family Abuse, Self-Harm, Blood, Doxing, Stalking, Homophobia, Hatecrime
In this AU, Mai Zenin (jjk character) was the “friend” that put Shizuku’s name in the idol contest. However I put “friend” in quotation marks because to Mai, Shizuku is not her friend and actually only put her name there in hopes to humiliate her in front of everyone.
So the thing about Mai in this AU, is that. Mai is essentially jealous of Shizuku. Mai in my AU lives in a very emotional and mentally abusive family (with the occasional physical abuse too from her father if he’s super mad), and Mai’s only loving family member, Maki (her twin sister), ran away from home without even telling her.
So when Mai sees Shizuku, she’s jealous because she think Shizuku’s life has been easy and she has an actual loving family while she doesn’t. But it’s also a mix of Mai still craving for that older sister figure that has been missing in her life since Maki ran away, but the thing with Mai is that. She rather lash out and be the “mean girl” than to be ever vulnerable to accept any warmth.
So, when Mai sees Shizuku actually winning the idol contest and becomes a member of Cheerful*Days, it just intensifies her jealousy towards the more new idol.
Thus Mai “stop being Shizuku’s friend”, and instead started bullying Shizuku.
Nothing physical tho. Mai just mostly verbally and emotionally bullies her whenever she sees Shizuku (sort of similar to how Cheerful*Days were before Shizuku quit ngl), but Mai also spreads false humors about Shizuku too.
Side note: you 100% bet ya ass that Airi will always about to throw hands at Mai during this time lol
However, with Shizuku being Shizuku. Believes that Mai stopped being friends with her and start being mean was due to her being an awful towards Mai. And she believes this even more once she learns about Mai’s awful home life (via through Maki since Maki at the time worked as a security guard around her Cheerful*Days stage and what not. Maki got a fake ID hence her being able to work there until not anymore due to reasons that’s not really important to this explanation lol)
So Shizuku instead is still showing kindness and warmth towards Mai, despite her awful behavior.
Side note: There will be also a moment where Shiho would confront Mai about her shitty behavior. Where Shiho tells Mai that she’s an awful person/sister (since once Shiho learns about how Mai actually wished Maki would stay in the household with her rather than be happy she escaped). And like after that confrontation, Mai thinks about Shiho’s words, but shoves it away for Mai believes “of course she’s an awful person/sister. She’s the ‘mean/evil twin’” basically believing that all she is. That she’s is forever a bad person.
Anyway. There’s three major moments that causes Mai to actually like stop being a bitch bully to Shizuku (btw, Mai Zenin is like one of my favorite characters in jjk lmao)
Anyway. The first moment is like shortly after Shizuku learned about Mai’s home life, where during in school Shizuku noticed a bit of blood seeping through Mai’s sleeves. Hence Shizuku rushed Mai to the nurse office and treated her self-inflicted wounds.
During the bandaging, Shizuku would apologize to Mai for being an awful friend for never noticing Mai’s suffering before. In which Mai, feeling such mixed feelings and is not accustomed to such warm, initially rejected Shizuku’s kindness and went out of the office after Shizuku was done.
But that is the start of Mai actually like reflecting and start changing her behavior. (Especially after Shizuku told Mai that she’s actually not an awful person).
Another moment would be when Shizuku was able to give Maki the courage and reassurance to connect with Mai again after over a year of no contact after she ran away (this is due to Maki wanting to wait until she’s more financially stable to try and contact Mai since she was actually homeless for a good 6 months, before the Shiraishi’s and the Vivid Street community helped her). So when Maki called Mai for the first time and learned that Shizuku is the one to help convince her…
Mai is feeling… complicated. Doesn’t understand why. Why Shizuku would do all of this for her.
And the final nail on the coffin. The moment where afterwards, Mai officially stopped bullying Shizuku and officially actually start reflecting and grow…
Ahem! Okay. Soooo. One day.
Mai’s like was walking around the streets of Shibuya, until she sees someone she does not want to see. Naoya, Mai’s older adult cousin, who instantly goes to her just so he can torment her.
Okay. So like Naoya. Is basically a grade A assholeeee. Who’s very misogynistic and like a spoiled brat (the Zen’in family are like a super rich and big family btw), who normally lives in Kyoto but is here due to a business trip.
So like basically Naoya start to harass Mai, and Mai (who’s used to such situations) just keeps her head down and hopes it doesn’t get worst. And Shizuku, (who happened to be around due to her getting lost lol) saw the situation and how Mai was uncomfortable and basically in danger when Naoya roughly grabbed her, intervened and protects Mai.
To summarize (since if I explain the whole scene then we will be here foreverrrr lol), Naoya backhanded slap Shizuku during the confrontation, and his gemmed ring leaving an awful gash on her face (hence Shziuku having that scar), but Shizuku still stands her ground. And just before the confrontation continues. The surrounding people took noticed how serious the confrontation became and thus intervening, especially since they recognized Shizuku.
Shizuku, noticing Mai being extremely uncomfortable with the lack of space, led her away from the crowd and to the Hinomori’s residency.
Anyway. So like. By the end of the day. Mai offically stopped bullying Shizuku and like. Actually start to get to know Shizuku better without her jealousy clouding her judgement.
Okay, cool. So what does this all have to do with the comic page? You may be asking?
Well. It’s simple. It’s because of Naoya.
Ya see. Since that incident, Naoya was not only arrested for physically assaulting someone (although since he’s super rich he just bailed himself out of jail rip), his business reputation is in shambles since there’s now a viral video of him slapping Shizuku online.
Not only that, but his home at Kyoto was doxed too (I’m debating if he was doxed by Shizuku’s fans or by a rando who just hates the due after what he’s done lol).
So because of all of this. Naoya’s pride was hurt. And him being a petty immature bitch. He decided to do everything he could to make Shziuku suffer.
And so Naoya with his money influence the entertainment industry to not allow MMJ to get jobs within the industry. Making them mostly jobless outside a few rare deals/their live streams. This would be what he does for a good while for he does want to lie low and not get caught.
However. After Naoya did some research and looking around. He found a former fan of Shizuku who’s deranged and is very much delusional and believes that the current Shizuku is not “his Shizuku”.
Founding the perfect person, Naoya would anonymously give personal information he gathered about Shizuku to the deranged fan, and that fan became a dangerous stalker. Like as dangerous as the stalker in Perfect Blue (it’s a good movie I highly recommend ya guys to watch it)
And like that stalker been sending mmj mail anonymously “to Shizuku” but they are eerie and threatening towards Shizuku. And then one day, one of these mail is actually like would blow up once open and deeply hurt Saito.
Which would be the start of Shizuku’s mental guilt and fears.
Of course, mmj is there to help reassure Shizuku that it’s not her fault and that Airi is there to support her throughout this turmoil.
However, Naoya noting how strong the support system that Shizuku has is, decided to attack them as well (behind the scenes of course).
And so Naoya decided to target Shizuku’s and Airi’s love for each other. He was able to get a paparazzi to take a private photo of them kissing in secret (in my AU they officially date before they graduated high school. In which they keep it a secret when they perform and such. Oh. Also all the stalker thing happens after Shizuku and Airi graduated. also Side note: the Naoya slap happens… uhhhh… definitely during Shizuku’s second year).
Anyway. So that photo start being plastered all over the news and online, starting a hugeeeee controversy. And in turn but mmj in danger due to homophobia. Thus Saito (who has recovered, at this point in the timeline, from the mail attack) made the hard decision of making Shizuku and Airi stay at home to not be in the public eye, and to not attend their meetings within the mmhouse.
Of course, Shizuku and Airi is deeply saddened over this, and Shizuku even start blaming herself for everything. In which Airi being Airi, cast those false doubts away and reassures her that everything will be fine.
Even Shiho was there to help cheer Shizuku up by saying since Shizuku is staying home more often they can bond more. Which does cheer her up and gives her hope.
But as ya guess itttt~
Naoya strikes againnnnn
Naoya leaked Shizuku’s home address to the stalker (the one that send the mail bomb) and the stalker went to her house and was about to attack her. During this attack, mmj miku, seeing how much danger Shizuku is in, warns Airi about the situation.
They Airi rushing to Shizuku’s home in order to save her. However while she was in the streets trying to reached Shizuku, she get attacked by a small group of homophobic guys. And like he really beats her up too, of course Airi fought back the best she can. But of course they had heavy pipes so she was heavily injured and lost unconscious during the fight. With her last thoughts being full of guilt of not being able to save Shizuku.
Of course a passerby saw this and instantly called the police and an ambulance to help Airi. Thus Airi being sent to the hospital.
Meanwhileeee, at Shizuku’s home. Shizuku is being attacked by the stalker but fortunately Shiho was home and came in to save her.
Unfortunately, the stalker then attacks Shiho (causing Shiho to get a small scar under her right eye) and nearly chokes her to death. Shizuku grabbing and trying to push the stalker away from shiho with no avail.
But don’t worry, Yuuji Itadori (jjk character) comes in (due to Mai request him to go and check up on Shizuku), and was able to get him off of Shiho and start beating him up.
However the Stalker was able to get away, and Yuuji was about to go after him, until he saw how Shiho’s was still unconscious thus staying to do CPR on her instead.
Anywayyyy, after that traumatic event, Shizuku and Shiho then learned that Airi’s in the ER due to the hatecrime.
So when both of them arrived at the hospital, she’s not able to see Airi due to Shizuku not being a family member.
In fact, Airi’s parents sees Shizuku and basically blames Shizuku for Airi’s current state. Saying that if Shizuku didn’t convince Airi to become an idol again she won’t have gotten hurt for being who she is. (Of course this is just due to the grief that Airi’s parents are feeling, and that they just wanted to blame someone atm. They would both later apologize to Shizuku late on near the end of the arc and such).
And this moment. This moment right here, would be the moment where Shizuku finally cracked. All the build up of stress, fear, guilt, and pain had finally pushed Shizuku over the edge.
Her mental state broken.
But don’t worry about ittttt~
It ended happily, promiseeee~
Look! Just look at the ShizuAi art! Look at how happy Airi and Shizuku are in the end! Ya seeee???
(I do have the basic vague outline of how this arc will continue and such but that’ll be another time since this post is already getting super longggg)
Sorry for it not really being Airi focused ;v;
Btw. Colored that one wip that I sent ya~ ;3

Azure Gleam - Chapter 11
Alrighty, here we go, chapter 11!
Story
Sylvain says its a bit scary because they are trusting the Church a lot. Seriously, this weird mistrust in the Church is just dumb.
The Western Church is undergoing reform now. A new bishop will be chosen too.
Petra is not happy with the Empire and has decided that they will not be having a relationship with Brigid during her lifetime.
Some distrust of the Alliance. Even Shez is like “I don’t know, man.” Doesn’t help that Lorenz also agrees with him, saying that Claude is difficult to trust. So... there’s that.
Apparently Jeralt’s company is working under Randolph. Jeralt really has a poor sense of morality, huh?
Apparently Randolph doesn’t want to be part of the raids they are doing, according to an Imperial solider NPC who escaped. Even “turned a blind eye” to him escaping. Kinda hard to feel pity when the dude was a-ok with conquering before.
An NPC says that some Adrestian Nobles still care about the Empire’s wellbeing, and wishes there was a way we could work with them. I mean... I guess? But once again, it’s really hard to feel sympathy for people who are so ready to conquer. And they don’t seem to be trying anything to stop the Duke either.
Dimitri truly loved Patricia, according to Rodrigue, since she was the only mother he ever knew. Then Rodrigue says that this time, they are the invaders to the Empire. Technically true, but like.... it’s not equal, man, come on.
Felix, in his own way, expresses some concern that his father is running himself ragged. (Then points out that he doesn’t have any room to criticize since he is running ragged himself).
Aw, Hilda sent the Alliance crew a care package. Cute.
Lol, Yuri criticizes Balthus for buddying up with the Empire. Balthus takes it and hits it back, pointing out that Yuri worked for Rowe. Yuri implies he hated it and maybe didn’t have a choice? Oh well.
Annette: “Now we are invading. :(” Shez “They started the fight, what’s wrong with fighting back?” “Hmmm, I’m not sure that reasoning is convincing enough for me.”
Tumblr media
Literally why not, what else are we supposed to do, just twiddle our thumbs until the Empire kills itself off?
Some NPCS have changed their minds about the Church, having once believed they were a pile of garbage till they saved their life.
Another NPC admits to siding with the Empire originally since she believed they would win. Now she’s with the Kingdom for the same reason.
Marianne is concerned about Edelgard. Literally why, she started the war.
Of course, Dorothea is also worried about Edelgard. At least she is actually friends with her. But I’m getting really sick of this game gaslighting me and pushing Edelgard down my throat.
Oh, Hanneman appears in a side map! Fascinating, fascinating. So is Ladislava.
And now for the big chapter battle.
Seems like this is similar to the SB battle where a bunch of houses are together as one, except this time on the Empire’s side instead of the Kingdom one.
Dimitri reminds everyone that we are the invading force this time, so it makes sense that the houses are banding together to protect their livelihoods.
“Not after what we have done” Ashe, buddy.... they attacked first.
Dimitri comments that he knows that if they lost their way, he knows that everyone will help him come back from it. (YES! This is what AM was missing, so nice now).
Oh, we can recruit Linhardt and Constance this chapter? For some reason, I thought Linhardt would be later.
Looks like we are killing Duke Gerth. Kinda a shame, really. He’s actually a nice one.
Oh, Monica is here! Can I kill her?
Linhardt is a Holy Knight? Interesting. Oh also, Hanneman is here.
Linhardt says he doesn’t have it in him to kill Petra. Petra is way cutthroat though, kek.
Lol, Linhardt calls us cruel for beating him up first before we actually ask him to switch sides. He does kinda have a point, lol.
So we killed Baron Ochs. But not the other lords.
Manuela is here too, excellent.
Wait, we don’t kill Monica?! NOOOO
Ok, maybe we killed two more Empire lord. Still, low death count so far. Manuela just retreats too. Hanneman as well, And Duke Gerth. Not as devastating as the SB version was, which basically killed everyone except Annette, if you wanted to let her go.
At least this route has guilt, not even SB had that. They even recognize that while it sucks, if they just sit back it won’t be good in the long run.
Whoa, Felix just kinda defended Dimitri, saying not to put everything on him. That’s my boy.
Lambert also took the throne young (Rodrigue says too young).
Dimitri and Lambert are nearly identical, except Lambert had a shorter temper.
Rodrigue had hoped Felix wouldn’t have been like him so much. Both he and Felix can’t live without serving some sort of greater purpose. For Rodrigue, that was living to make sure he kept Lambert’s promise.
Rodrigue says that Dimitri needs someone to take his hand and pull him in the right direction. He says he needs a friend, not a retainer, to do that. I guess that’s their piss poor reasoning for why it has to be someone besides Felix or Dedue.
Whoa, Arval gave his stamp of approval of Rodrigue, calling him a wonderful man. And he’s RIGHT, DAMN IT.
Oh, hi there Randolph. Guess this is his time to die.
Basically, the Empire army is mostly reduced to scrabble competing to kill the most or whatever. All picked by Duke Aegir.
Randolph tells Jeralt that if he dies, his contract will be considered terminated and Jeralt will be free to stop supporting the Empire and it’s fall into depravity. If he wasn’t an invading force, I would almost respect him.
Time to march closer to Enbarr.
Paralogue
Dimitri, Rodrigue, and Sylvain Paralogue....
A Sreng attack is coming. The leader was a previous prisoner of war that Sreng had offered up. Despite the attack having killed Matthias’ first wife, he agreed to take the boy and treat him well. He taught him the language and the ways of Foldan. But the boy eventually ran back home, with all that knowledge to boot.
Dimitri finds it profound to be on the same battlefield that his father had been one once. Sylvain finds it uncomfortable that it’s still the exact same fight though.
Lol, it’s funny that only Felix is missing here, like the trio of the past (Margrave, Rodrigue, and the late king) versus Felix, Sylvain, and Dimitri.
Matthias’ first wife was a start pupil of the Black Eagle house, and a classmate of Rodrigue and Matthias. Matthias became known as the “Wall of Ice” after she was killed in the Sreng attack.
The Sreng Commander had been planning this for a while now. Seems to also be using the Margave’s tactics he had taught him years ago.
And he apparently knew Miklan and Sylvain personally as well, so he must have been there for quite a while.
After his defeat, the commander ran off. But before he did, he and Sylvain joked with each other a bit.
The Margrave feels upset, that he taught the man how to speak their language and educated them. But Dimitri says that that was how they managed to get through to him in the first place.
Sylvain wants to bring peace between the Kingdom and Sreng, even if it takes him his whole life. Sreng wants a port and warmer land, but the Kingdom already has little to spare. So Matthias has no idea how this could end in peace.
Matthias kinda stormed off. Despite calling Sylvain naive, he actually wonders to Rodrigue if he himself is actually the naive one. He agrees with Rodrigue that he will go apologize to Sylvain for what he had said to him.
Lambert had hoped to forge peace between Duscur and Sreng. He was unsuccessful with Sreng, but had been making strides with Duscur.
Dimitri hopes this will end in peace, especially since he wants to end the need for Relics.
And I guess he did because we got the Lance of Ruin! Wish we could actually SEE that scene but... Well, we kinda do in another route-ish? So, whatever.
While not an exciting battle, I liked the premise of the paralogue and what it had to offer to the story on the whole.
A little extra note here, but this commander is 100% Leif (from the book Military History of Partholon). He is technically a prince, although never named as such. Oleg, the Sreng chief, died when a large beast (likely the Wind Caller pissed that people were in his home, but it could have been another random beast) killed him. Leif is his grandchild, the youngest of Oleg’s son’s children.
Supports
Now that Rodrigue is back, we can get to his supports.
Shez and Rodrigue B - Shez wants to have a snowball fight after the war. But apparently, Kingdom snowballs fights are basically snowball wars.....Of course it is. So cute though, thinking about Rodrigue getting ambushed by Lambert. And Matthias is apparently a cunning snowball fighter. Then Ingrid’s dad came out of nowhere (he is much older than the others) and grabbed them by the scruffs of their necks and forced them to end the fight. Stinking cute.
Rodrigue and Dimitri A - They talk about Lambert’s death a bit. Then, Dimitri asks what would Rodrigue have done if Dimitri had died that day too. Rodrigue urges Dimitri to value his life, if he wants Rodrigue to value his own. Dimitri doesn’t want Rodrigue to die for him, he believes it would destroy him. It would be like losing his father all over again. Touching support.
Yuri and Dimitri B - Dimitri learns that the people aren’t just standing around waiting for handouts. He wants to be a ruler that listens to everyone. Yuri points out that before people can participate in the government, they need stability and food on the table. Stability, food -> no longer worrying about dying -> more willing to go get educated -> get educated -> can understand what they would want or need for their future more -> participate in government intelligently. Yuri offers his services to help Dimitri raise the funds needed for this process, but Dimitri refuses at first (mostly because Yuri is a known underground crime lord) but promises to consider it. Yuri promises that he would never do something underhanded in Dimitri’s name. I’ve wanted this support chain for years, and it has not disappointed.
Shez and Catherine A - Not a particularly exciting support. I don’t really have anything to say about it. Just a “put one foot in front of the other” support.
Sylvain and Ignatz B - That painting is from 200 years ago, around the time when the Officer’s Academy was founded. They think it might be a painting of the archbishop at the time, although wonder why she is painted in plain clothes. Apparently her rule was not long, because she “died” of illness. It is said birds mourned her loss? The woman also looks like Rhea (so it’s probably Rhea). They speculate that maybe the lady (Rhea) wanted to be represented in common clothes on purpose to be free of the trappings of her position, or maybe the painter wanted to represent how she cared about the poor and downtrodden. A sneaky support about Rhea in the end. Has me wondering, though, why Rhea faked her death by illness 200 years ago.
Ingrid and Marianne B - Ingrid grew up around Pegasi, which are basically horses on wings. Why tf is Ingrid so suddenly incapable of being around her horse properly. And why are they talking still, go fucking save your friend on the battle field!
Felix and Raphael A - Felix goes hunting for boar. Kinda cool that this support calls back to Petra teaching Raphael hunting techniques. Felix talks about how his house and Dimitri’s house used to go hunting together (Dimitri bagged a shit ton of animals, Felix barely got away with his life against a boar). Raphael goes confused about which boar Felix is talking about (kek). I guess Felix isn’t the best hunter, lol. Raphael helps him take down the boar, learns a lesson along the way... sort of. Helping ain’t a bad thing. Also calls Raphael a friend. Cute.
Sylvain and Yuri B - Yuri and Sylvain snuffed out some spies. Sylvain had not hesitated to dispatch them, which surprised Yuri. Yuri admits that he is surprised that Sylvain didn’t hunt him down for killing his brother. Sylvain says its water under the bridge if Yuri helps with the war. But warns that he will not hesitate to kill him if Yuri betrays them. Still, they respect each other. Yuri comments that Sylvain is actually a loyalist deep down (except in CF, kek), and then suggests a date might be fun. Like... a date date. Sylvain is into it? Oh mama, oh lord, these boys will be the death of me.
Annette and Lorenz B - Lorenz compliments Annette for her achievements. Annette is surprised. Their relationship is mended to a degree.
Annette and Ignatz B - Annette clears up some misunderstandings. Gustave may be the best fighter, but he’s a worrywart, and terrible taking care of himself. So while he may be an outstanding fighter, but knights need more skills than just being the best fighter. So Ignatz still has a lot of strengths that are contributing, even if it’s not Gustave’s level of fighting.
Yuri and Seteth A - When the plague came through the kingdom, Yuri was saved by an old man. His mother found him, and they took the man in and cared for him. Then Yuri got sick. Yuri doesn’t know how, but the old man saved him. (The old man is dead now). Seteth then tells him that one of the Ten Elites had a terminal illness, but was cured because he got a crest. Yuri concludes that the old man must have given him a Crest, and that he is going to live a very long life as a result. Seteth, quietly, reveals that the old man was likely Aubin. Apparently, Aubin cursed the blood that flowed through his veins, but likely found salvation because he was able to save a child’s life through it. I guess Aubin might have been one of Nemesis followers before he changed sides, and cursed what he had done. Only a guess on my part though.
Shamir and Catherina A - Catherine had wanted to go drag Shamir back after Shamir slipped away. But Rhea stopped her, and that it wasn’t fair to impose the Church on others, especially those from another land (HMMMMM, NO SHIT?!). They both admit that they missed each other, and that they trust each other deeply. If Shamir didn’t switch sides as easily as slipping burgers, I might actually believe her. Sort of. I mean, she’s mot lying here, but despite the romantic undertones Shamir can still kill Catherine and show very little remorse for it. At least Felix goes into states of depression.

Note
Do you have any theories or hcs of all the dorms (except for Diasomnia) state of affairs now that Trey, Ruggie, Jade, Kalim, Rook are in charge? Will there be order or chaos?
Hmm 🤔 my thoughts right now aren’t really theories, but here’s what I think about how the vice dorm leaders would be like now that they’re in charge:
For Trey, Heartslabyul would definitely feel a lot more relaxed under his rule than under Riddle’s. There isn’t as much of an immediate need to abide to every rule of the Queen of Hearts, after all, since Trey himself isn’t strict on them. Now that doesn’t mean Heartslabyul is completely off the hook because everyone knows what happens when they upset Trey, and no way in hell do they want to taste an amalgamation of a cake mixed with sour ingredients and salty fish once more.
For Ruggie, I don’t think Savanaclaw would change all that much. Admittedly, I’m not familiar enough with his character to know for sure what he would do, but I can imagine him making his dorm mates bringing him food lol. But aside from that, I think Ruggie can keep things in order. He’d be able to break any fights that happen since he’s rather good with his words (also, he can probably steal something from them to distract them kek). Heck, maybe they might feast a little more.
Oh Jade… this will be quite the ride. Jade is someone who prioritizes his own amusements over the well-being of other people who aren’t close to him. He’ll uphold Octavinelle’s rules, but aside from that, if something happens, and it not only doesn’t technically break rules but also provides him entertainment, he won’t stop it. In fact, he’ll probably manipulate his dorm members to doing things that will ultimately lead to a show that he’ll gladly watch. Also, now that he’s in charge, it’s now a rule to eat mushrooms thrice a day. No excuses, no buts, take the fungi, and eat it. He took Masterchef for a reason.
Kalim, well it wouldn’t be any different I suppose, since he’s always been the dorm head. There’s still going to be the banquets and everything. Now will there be order? Debatable, seeing as how Jamil is the one who keeps the order in Scarabia. But also, he is maturing, so maybe just maybe, he might actually try to put some order in Scarabia. He might be less of a leader who’s giving orders, though, and more of a leader who works with his people. He’ll ensure that his dorm mates are doing okay, and he’ll do his absolute best to help everyone out.
To be honest, since we’re following the whole “previous dorm helps us out in the next chapter” pattern, I doubt Rook would stay put in Pomefiore and instead would join us in busting out Vil and co. But let’s say there’s isn’t any busting out we have to do, or there is, but Rook is forced to stay in Pomefiore under Trein’s orders, he’d actually keep Pomefiore in order. I think Rook has enough intelligence and competence to lead a dorm. He’ll shower his dorm mates with compliments to their beauty, and he’ll give them blunt criticism on where to improve at the same time. I think he’d also work with his dorm mates rather than give orders, like Kalim. But unlike Kalim, Rook isn’t as approachable of a person thanks to his stalking and everything. 😂

Chapter Twenty-One: Coping
Word Count: 2.8k
Warnings: PTSD, mentions of death, past trauma (let me know if I missed any!)
————
It was silly to be proud of his brother and General, but still it was the closest feeling Hardwire could think of.
His little brother—according to Coyote—fell in love with her almost instantly. Juliette was the closest thing to a friend he had outside his brothers.
The fact they were able to find each other and fall in love during a war, it was the only pure thing Hardwire witnessed in a long while, and his brothers were celebrating it.
The pilots were the happiest—of course—for their girl.
Cooper was chuckling watching Shadow’s confusion as to why everyone was cheering, still not quite up to date on all the minor details.
Coyote was beaming, concluding Hardwire’s suspicions that Fang’s former squad leader had been pulling the strings the whole time.
Everyone was just happy for them, and Hardwire was trying to be there too.
He wanted to be in the moment.
But the ringing returned the minute they started cheering.
As casually as he could, he got up and left.
The halls were a sanctuary of silence, and within a minute of standing there the ringing subsided again.
He was about to head back in there, when he heard someone mumbling.
Hardwire tilted his head, then followed the sound to the corner, remaining out of sight.
“He doesn’t deserve her.”
“That’s not your place to say.”
Hardwire stood just behind the wall, listening.
He didn’t see anyone leave the mess hall, and he wasn’t going to just assume this debate was about Juliette. He knew some of the men had been pirating some movies and shows to watch in their downtime.
“But he is constantly shutting people out. I hear he barely talks to his batch mate anymore, probably doesn’t even know he’s up for promotion.”
“He’s got some issues he’s working out.”
“That’s no excuse.”
Hardwire leaned on the wall.
A couple troops were up for promotion, not necessarily Coyote. Although, Hardwire couldn’t remember Fang and Coyote talking much after Keks died. Especially since Fang was going though some personal issues.
“I wanted her too, though. I’m aware I sound like a jealous jerk, but I like her too!”
“I know you like Juliette.”
“I’m happy for her, but I’d kill for a chance to be her man.”
Hardwire covered his mouth, realizing something that never crossed his mind once: People can have a crush on the same person.
Obviously Fang wasn’t the only one who had a crush on Juliette, and it was naive of him to assume so. Now they were bragging that they helped Fang get the only girl on the whole ship.
Hardwire quickly walked off.
He didn’t want to know who it was, or he’d feel bad every time he saw the trooper.
****
Welp, I guess I know what we’re talking about later.
Cosmos didn’t mind, he loved Juliette and she always let him rant.
Still, he was growing a little wary of Fang.
After finishing up at the mess, Cosmos went on his way. He liked his alone time, but sometimes it was crashed by his brothers.
His newest recruit was very guilty of it.
“Hey,” Dabbler ran to his side. “Can you believe it? She loses and regains her hearing, but everyone is more swept up in the relationship.”
Cosmos smiled, “I’m glad someone said it.”
“Don’t get me wrong, I like Fang but from what I’ve seen so far,” Dabbler sucked in his teeth, “he’s kind of mean.”
“Mean?”
“Not mean as in he’s going to beat you up, but he doesn’t go out of his way for anyone but the people he likes.”
“You know, I see what you mean.” Cosmos joked.
“You’re not going to tell her I was bad mouthing her boyfriend,” Dabbler turned to him, “right?”
Cosmos wrapped an arm Dabbler’s neck, trapping the younger trooper in a headlock, “nah!”
Dabbler laughed, squirming as Cosmos ruffled his bleached curls before releasing him.
“I see you still haven’t painted your armor,” Cosmos teased, “yet you’re painting and doodling on everything else.”
“Armor is different,” Dabbler groaned. “I’m going to be stuck with the design for who knows how long. I do have ideas, in my sketchbook I lent the General.”
“Don’t worry,” Cosmos said, “she’s a bit of an air head, but she won’t forget.”
“I know,” Dabbler grinned, “I’ve already heard all the good things. I doubt there’s any bad thing about her.”
“She self doubts,” Cosmos shrugged. “That’s about it thus far.”
Dabbler nodded, looking up at the blank ceiling, “hmm… you know what’d be cool?”
Cosmos chuckled, “Dabbler, I’m telling you right now that Captain Stickler won’t let you paint the ceiling.”
“Maybe if Juliette asked,” Dabbler teased. “She’s got those big eyes and pretty smile.”
“Don’t do it, Dab,” Cosmos rolled his eyes, “don’t catch feelings.”
“Relax,” Dabbler shoved him, “I don’t have a crush on her. I think.”
“Promising,” Cosmos clicked his tongue, “I’ll put you on pending to be on the list.”
“List?“ Dabbler scrunched his nose, “what list?”
****
In all his life, Tracks had never been more aware of his hands. The way his wrists moved, the bends in his fingers, the extension of his arms.
“And this one is cookie,” Goose demonstrated, “which is what Keks’s name translates to.”
“I still can’t believe you’re just now teaching him how to sign names,” Tag rolled their eyes, “it would’ve been the first thing I taught him.”
“I’m sorry,” Goose placed his hands on his hips, “I’m not that organized, plus I’m teaching myself most of this too. Besides, I don’t see you learning.”
Tag shrugged, “touché.”
“How do you sign Radar?” Radar asked.
“Radar?” Goose thought for a moment before demonstrating, “it’s like this.”
Tracks walked ahead, hands folded behind his back.
“What’s on your mind?” Baby asked as he came the shorter pilot’s side.
Tracks shrugged.
“Don’t want to talk about it?” Baby teased.
Tracks held up his hand, rolling his eyes.
“Really?” Baby laughed, “talk to the hand?”
“Hello, my boys,” Juliette hopped in front of them.
“Hi, Juliette!” Tag smiled.
“It’s our girl!” Frenzy opened his arms up, “how are you?”
Juliette hugged him, “I’m so much better now that I can hear.”
“We’re glad to you can hear too,” Baby offered.
“Awe,” Goose squeezed Baby’s cheek, “such a mama’s boy.”
Baby crossed his eyes, groaning.
Juliette giggled, “quit teasing him.”
“Thank you,” Baby shoved Goose away.
“Anyways, I was looking for Buck and Mick,” Juliette explained, “I haven’t seen either of them since the explosion. Actually, I saw Mick, but not Buck.”
Tracks felt panic rise in his chest, she doesn’t know?
The other pilots turned to each other, exchanging the same looks of confusion and uncertainty.
Did no one tell her? How could no one tell her? Has she been looking to him this whole time? Why did no one think to tell her?
“Juliette…” Goose started, “the thing is…”
Baby shook his head, covering Goose’s mouth.
“We shouldn’t be the one to tell her,” Radar whispered.
Juliette’s smile started to fall, “b-boys?”
Someone has to tell her.
They were realizing that too.
“Juliette,” Tag started, “Buck… he… he didn’t… how do I word this?”
The light left her eyes, “he died.”
“General?“ Baby reached for her.
She stepped back, slowly turning as if in a trance.
“Juliette?” Frenzy tried.
She just slowly walked away, hugging her chest.
“How could no one tell her?” Baby grunted.
“Why must she take it so personally?” Goose ran his hand over his face, “it’s been long enough that she should know better.”
Radar punched his arm, “Goose!”
“I didn’t mean it as a bad thing!” Goose argued, “it’s just-“
“We don’t talk about dying!” Frenzy snapped.
Tracks couldn’t listen to them anymore, he took off after her.
Why didn’t anyone tell her? Everyone knows how much we mean to her! Why didn’t Fang tell? Or Boomerang? This isn’t fair.
As he rounded the corner, he collided with someone.
“Ow! Tracks!” Max cried out, holding his nose.
Juliette was facing the wall, forehead to the cold, metal surface.
Squirrel was rubbing her back, completely still.
“What happened?” Max whispered to Tracks.
Tracks attempted signing, “B-U-C-K.”
Max looked confused.
Dammit, Max! Does he not know the alphabet yet?
“All I got is B and C.” Max scratched behind his neck, “sorry.”
Tracks growled, seriously?
“I said sorry!“ Max held up his hands. “Squirrel, give me a hand.”
“Buck.” Squirrel said solemnly. “He’s signing Buck.”
Squirrel, you can be my co-pilot anytime.
Squirrel gently coaxed Juliette from the wall, “sweetness, did no one ever tell you?”
Juliette shook her head, lip trembling as she kept her eyes tightly shut.
“Juliette,” Squirrel coaxed her into his arms, “it’s okay, you can cry.”
“N-no,” her voice shook, “I’m the G-General. I-I’m not s-suppose to.”
Squirrel hugged her, “you can cry.”
Max scooted past Tracks, “I’ll contact Cosmos. Or should I contact Fang?”
No offense to Fang, but he’s a bit emotionally dense. Cosmos at least hears her.
Tracks held up one finger.
“Cosmos it is.” Max opened his comm.
****
“She’s crying?” Cosmos practically fell out of his bunk. “Why? What happened?”
“No one told her about Buck.” Max answered.
“Are kidding me?” Cosmos got his armor on.
Dabbler peeked out of his bunk, “what happened?”
“No one told her about Buck,” Cosmos grumbled.
He looked at all the bunks his brothers were sleeping in, annoyed.
Mick could get a pass, but Fang should’ve told her. Or Boomerang for that matter.
“Do you want me to go with you?” Dabbler offered.
“No.” Cosmos punched Boomerang’s arm as he passed his bunk. “Explain that for me.”
Boomerang yelped like a wounded animal, holding his arm.
Mirage and others woke up.
“What the kriff!” Mirage called out.
“Talk to Dabbler!” Cosmos barked.
Idiots. Such stupid idiots. I can’t right now.
Cosmos took one step, and then took off running. He zipped past brothers, and a few droids before he found the hall.
All his fellow pilots, sitting along the wall as Squirrel held her in his arms.
“Pass her,” Cosmos ordered, and she immediately wrapped herself around him.
“You’d think Fang would’ve warned her.” Max mumbled.
Cosmos sighed, “it’s not our place to judge.”
Juliette buried her face in his neck.
Cosmos rubbed her back, “shh, it’s okay. I’m sorry, Starlight. I should’ve told you, but your hearing…”
“We’ll give you two some alone time,” Tag helped Frenzy off the floor.
Everyone shuffled off, muttering and whispering.
Cosmos sighed, kissing her forehead, “Juliette, I understand, but you barely knew Buck.”
“But he still mattered,” she wiped her eyes.
Cosmos rubbed her cheek, “my dear, I love your heart, but you’re going to keep breaking it if you stay here. I don’t want you to go, but…”
He couldn’t bring himself to say it.
Watching Juliette walk away from them would hurt worse than anything this war could throw at him.
“I’ll never leave you,” Juliette caressed his cheek, “if I could, I’d take you all with me. However, because I can’t do that without the Republic hunting me down or you getting charged with desertion, we’re stuck here.”
“I can’t promise for the others,” Cosmos held up his pinkie, “but I promise not to die. You rescued me, now I’m your problem till the end.”
Juliette smiled, looping her finger with his, “I think I can manage to live with that.”
They kissed their hands, locking in that promise.
Then Cosmos remembered what he did, “oh, by the way…”
****
“He punched me!“ Boomerang yelled, “that jerk punched me as I was sleeping!”
Hardwire sighed, “for what reason did Cosmos punch you?”
He asked that question five times now since the group entered his quarters, and every time Mirage, Cooper, or Dabbler went to answer it riled Boomerang up again.
“He-“
“He better hope he doesn’t end up in medbay anytime soon,” Boomerang cut Cooper off, “because I will pass him off to Kit. Actually, I don’t ever want to help him. He’s Kit’s patient now.”
Hardwire stared up at his ceiling, “did I tell you all that Juliette’s putting a mural in my room?”
The topic change threw Boomerang off.
“Huh?” Mirage tilted his head.
“Like her’s?” Cooper asked, happy to have Boomerang shut up.
“I heard about the mural,” Dabbler lit up, “it’s stars with a flower border on the ceiling, right?”
“Yes,” Cooper answered, “it’s really cool.”
“Anyways,” Mirage cut in, “it was because of Buck.”
Buck?
“How was I to know no one told, and why should I be the one to tell her Buck died?“ Boomerang exclaimed, “I was just suppose to fix everyone’s injuries.”
She thought he lived.
“You’re telling me she was unaware the trooper that she was somewhat friends with died?” Hardwire firmly asked. “No one told her that her friend died right next to her?”
“I didn’t think that was my job.” Boomerang groaned, “also, if it was so important, Fang should’ve told her.”
“Fang nearly had a laser bolt go through his head,” Mirage retorted, “not to mention, Fang is having trouble concentrating lately.”
“I still didn’t deserve to be punched,” Boomerang grumbled.
“Yes, and he’ll be disciplined for his actions,” Mirage agreed, “but I think you can forgive him. Honestly, you’re more upset he woke you up than the fact he hit you.”
Boomerang rolled his eyes.
Hardwire sighed, “men, just go back to bed. I’ll talk to Cosmos about it.”
“I’m going to medbay first,” Boomerang rubbed his arm. “You coming, Pretty Boy?”
“I’m coming,” Mirage followed him out.
Hardwire got up, “I’m assuming Cosmos is with her.”
“Yes, he’s with her,” Dabbler confirmed, “may I ask something, Commander?”
“Yes?” Hardwire asked.
“Why is it so personal to her?” Dabbler asked, “it’s probably not the right wording, but it feels like she’s taking it that way.”
“Trauma with loss,” Cooper stated.
Hardwire sighed, “yes, pretty much.”
She at least has a good support system here. Especially with Cosmos.
“Is she okay?” Dabbler followed Hardwire, as Cooper detoured back to the barracks.
“She’s fine,” Hardwire rubbed his ear, “she probably just wasn’t expecting to learn it like that.”
Dabbler nodded quietly, still walking beside him.
Guess I’m stuck with him now.
“How have you been adjusting?” Hardwire asked.
“I think I’m pretty adjusted,” Dabbler smiled, “Cosmos is a great brother and helped me with everything, including all the not-so-secret secrets.”
“Secrets?” Hardwire asked.
“The General and Fang,” Dabbler explained, “I just thought they were good friends like her and Cosmos.”
Hardwire cracked a smile, “yes, they’re involved.”
Dabbler went quiet again, but the look on his face said there was more on his mind. Something he wanted to say, but wasn’t sure about saying.
“Speak freely, Dabbler,” Hardwire ordered.
“It’s nothing sir,” Dabbler shrugged, “just… no one ever told me what happened. Referring to when General Merick was in charge, but I see echoes of his impact here.”
“He…” Hardwire sighed, “he didn’t like individual thinkers, so he tried to weed us out.”
“I’m sorry, Commander,” Dabbler lowered his voice.
“On the bright side, you found her.”
As he said it rounding the corner, there she was.
How much did she hear?
She smiled, and then hugged Hardwire around his middle.
Enough. She heard enough.
Hardwire hugged her back, “General, I’m so sorry. We were more focused on you, Buck never crossed my mind.”
“It’s okay,” she looked up at him. “I know I have to toughen up.”
“That’s not the issue,” Hardwire assured, “let’s go for a walk. As for Cosmos, I’ll talk to him later.”
“I’ve already been scolded,” Cosmos sighed.
“I took care of it,” Juliette wrapped her arm around Hardwire. “I’m somewhat good at my job.”
Hardwire chuckled, giving her a side hug as they walked off.
“Have you eaten yet?” Juliette asked.
“Most men are in bed, my dear,” Hardwire rubbed her arm, “are you telling me you haven’t eaten yet?”
“I haven’t eaten since before the last mission,” Juliette admitted.
Hardwire groaned, “Juliette, what am I going to do with you?”

Some days, Tracks felt being in the air was worse than being on the ground.
Especially on days like this. Having to listen to the hearsay, than be there to take it on himself. Knowing that his brothers were taking fire, getting shot, watching each other fall like rain drops.
Piloting was hard too, with the sense of being both trapped and separated from the group.
Tracks closed his eyes, trying to coax himself to sleep.
She’s okay. We comforted her until Cosmos arrived. Cosmos always fixes her problems, so she’s okay. Everyone is-
A loud bumping and grunting of pain interrupted Tracks’s thoughts.
What is that?
Tracks sat up.
Someone was throwing themselves around in their bunk.
Tracks hopped out of his bunk.
Others were groggily sitting up in their bunks, mumbling curiosities.
Is that Fang?
Tracks approached the bunk.
Coyote was knelt down rubbing Fang’s back, whispering, “wake up, wake up.”
Fang wasn’t responding.
Is this a nightmare?

Ok- I read this fanfic from Wattpad and now I’m having albedo brain rot- helppp
So basically the story is albedo x reader, and the oc comes from our world and goes to Genshin. Basically the reader, “Cecilia” likes albedo and he likes her back, but neither of them think each other like them back. Then, the reader gets asked out on a date with kaeya and he asks her to be his girlfriend. Fast forward, kaeya is basically an ass and gloats his relationship to albedo.
I just thought of an angst scenario where the reader eventually starts falling in love with kaeya, and kaeya with her, and albedos just clinging to the hope that they break up and stuff. Fast forward a couple years, kaeya asks the reader to marry him, and albedo gets a wedding invitation. Albedo is basically frantic and trying to remember how long reader and kaeya have been together and is in denial on how long it’s been. Albedo attends the reader’s wedding and at the end, he finally gives the reader some sort of hint that he loved her, but she doesn’t notice. Albedo just smiles and leaves. Then (plot twist lol) he ultimately made a potion to forget everything/the reader. And yeah- the end.

I think I over dramatize love stories and love in general sometimes but oh well-
I think I've heard of this story but I skipped it kek-
My goodness what is up with you guys and wanting some really mean angst prompts, you know this reminds me of freaking Satisfied again but reversed this time. Please, the potion detail at the end has me livid hnghng but like if you connect it to the first part, you can make it so that it actually loops hnghng
Afterthought : WHAT IF HE DRANK THE POTION, BUT ENDED UP FALLING IN LOVE FOR THE READER AGAIN, NOT KNOWING OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH KAEYA BRUHHHHH
