No one left behind 😭👍, that was so cheesy of Felix but I love that for him.
It was SO cheesy and I'm SO proud of him. I think Felix has the biggest heart in the Blue Lions, which is saying a lot. He's way too loyal and loves way too much and it burns him. He's one of the characters who changes most throughout the story, and it was rewarding to show him grow up. And I loved writing him as a POV character, he was perfect - perceptive, insightful, funny, provocative, has lots of internal conflict, starts a lot of external conflict, says what he thinks. and emotionally intelligent or stupid as the situation calls for. 10/10 character.
The conceit of the AU was, of course, "what if the Blue Lions stayed together during the time skip". They were each other's only safety and security, the only people they trusted, and in the most dangerous situation possible they were each other's only safe harbor. The Rules were why they stayed to take care of Dimitri (ergo, it's also "AU where Dimitri wasn't alone for five years"), but I think it was taking care of Dimitri that finally solidified them as a family. To them, it was a replication of what Byleth had done - gaining the ability to show compassionate, empathic, and unconditional love because that love was given to them. As Byleth gains the ability to feel love through the love felt for her. Byleth's upcoming arc is very much a 'oh no, I'm having feelings' journey. AKA Come get your Dimileth food lol
I think Felix is a very loving person, but his love had fueled his hatred and resentment, and he had to re-learn how to show it. That involved releasing a lot of things within him. Becoming a caretaker tends to mature you fast, for better or for worse, and Felix had to process a lot of stuff very quickly. I think namely the fact that Dimitri and Felix had been caught in a toxic PTSD cycle of Felix punishing Dimitri and Dimitri using Felix as a way to punish himself. I think Felix's desire to punish Dimitri was stonewalled by Dimitri's psychotic break, because it must have become incredibly apparent that Dimitri was punishing himself enough for the both of them - and that there was no point to punishing Dimitri at all when Dimitri could barely even understand him. Everybody's seen Dimitri homicidal now and everybody believes him. The homicidality has lost a lot of its monstrousness and evil - it just seems sad, now, the misdirected fear of a sick person. There's no satisfaction out of hating Dimitri anymore. There's no longer any point. And Felix is left alone with the fact that the boy he loved is sick, and needs him, and if Felix was cruel to him now then it would only be cruelty for the sake of cruelty, and he would be no better than Dimitri. I think Felix forgave him, and I think it took a lot of maturity.
Felix's journey is super interesting. He got, like, two side stories with his POV just because I found him so interesting. This is also really why I'm not a Dimitri/Felix person - what they actually have going on is just so much more interesting (same reason I'm not a Dimitri/Dedue guy - Dimitri and Dedue's actual thing is FAR more fascinating). Felix's decision to forgive Dimitri wasn't about Dimitri - it was about Felix, and Felix being nineteen years old, and facing a crossroads of his life where he decided what kind of person he wanted to be (again, another journey Byleth has). Would he exhibit decency, humanity, and compassion to the person he hated the most? And if he did, would it release something old and rotten within him? Who knows! We will! When I post Catleth!
#my asks#my writing#to emphasize something ive emphasized b4 in other contexts:#dimtri did not have to earn compassionate care.#when ur in a vulnerable period that care is a human right#during part 2 Dimitri is actively a deeply unpleasant person to be around#and its not easy to be the people who support him. but it wasn't in question#it's dimitri he's a blue lion blue lions stick together#byleth is a deeply empathic person who extends unconditional care and compassion to kids who need it#when she's barely more than a kid herself#nobody else is around to take responsibility and step up and provide what the kids deserve#so she does it no complaints#and BECAUSE the BL recieve that from byleth#they can give it to dimitri#and BECAUSE dimitri recieves that#he can give it to byleth#i definitely want to talk more about that when i post part 2 bc#that's the point of the story. lol.

TWST X FE3H
Heartslabyul here!
Notes:
On the left we have the academy phase outfit, and on the right we have the war phase (after a 5 year timeskip)!
I feel like the arrows should be self explanatory, up for good at, red for bad at, and the stars are for budding talents (things they could be good at)
Class explanations and extra notes under the cut!
Leona:
If he gets recruited he comes pre-promoted as wyvern rider
Easy wyvern lord choice honestly
Actually, every savanaclaw member is pretty easy to turn into a wyvern lord in end game
Personal skill would be either royal lineage (multiplies unit experience) or cat nap (restores hp if he doesn't do anything during player phase)
Not sure which one tbh
High strength growth, poor resistance?
Pre-timeskip he acts as sort of leader in training students into wyvern riders
During the war he acts more as strategist, only going into battle when things are looking dire
Ruggie:
When recruited, he comes with all the skill necessary to be reclassed into thief
Although his personal skill would probably be lock touch (can open chests without keys) so reclassing him into thief isn't too necessary
Probably better off in brigand to help his strength growth?
Can easily be turned into an assassin for the high speed and dex
DODGE TANK
His clothes are leona hand me downs
During the war he kinda replaces leona's position as a leader on the battlefield, which is why he also gets leona's armor
Jack:
Starts off as a fighter since he's a first year
Gameplay whise, he'd probably be turned into a war master
Which explains the MASSIVE GAUNTLETS I've chosen to give him
I picked gauntlets as his "canon weapon" since they kinda look like claws
But he wouldn't be too hard to turn into a wyvern lord in end game with his budding talent in flying
I think it'd be kinda cute if every savanaclaw member can be easily built into an army of wyvern lords
Like leona, he has poor resistance
But he has massive defense growths to help
Personal skill would be lone wolf (+5 attack without battalions)
Story Notes:
You(yuu) fill(s) byleths role as a "tactician"
They meet ace, deuce, chenya and neige in the woods while the four are attacked by bandits
After they show off their master strategies (a.k.a hiding in bushes for evasion), the four invite them to nrc and rsa's shared monastery)
At the monastery, Crowley and Ambrose (that's his name right?? The rsa principal? ) make you(yuu) join one of the two schools
No matter which school you pick, 2 of the four from the earlier battle join your side and you make another choice in picking one of two dorms to fill your roster
Yknow how when you first play twst your free ssr is always either from heartslabyul or savanaclaw? Kinda like that
If rsa is picked, cheya and neige join you + 3 other people the dorm you chose ( twst hasn't revealed any rsa dorms im sorry, idk??)
If nrc is picked, ace and deuce join you +either heartslabyul (riddle, trey and cater) or savanaclaw (leona, ruggie, jack)
You(yuu) first gets to show off their tactics during the mock battle where they fight with their team against either rsa/nrc(depending on which school you chose) and 5 dorm leaders from the school you chose.
#twisted wonderland#twst#leona kingscholar#ruggie bucchi#jack howl#savanaclaw#sorry for the wait i hope it wasn't too long ??#honestly not sure on the writing since im not a writer#im open to suggestions by this point#ive made vague designs and class ideas for everyone else#just gotta draw em#btw taru i saw your tags#i lovee youuu!!!!!!!

I love minor little detail headcanons. Like things that don’t really affect much but can make for fun things to include.
Like what if Sylvain is lactose intolerant but he doesn’t tell people because he doesn’t want to get special treatment even during the academy days. Mercedes notices though and if she slips him a different meal with no dairy every now and then that’s between them.
Or maybe Hapi was born with a minor tremor in her hands and is self conscious of her handwriting so Constance taught her a signature that was easier for her and kept raving about how gorgeous and fit for a noble it is.
Maybe Felix has minor sensory issues and can’t stand the texture of his dorm blanket so Dimitri gives him a new one under the guise of it being just sewing practice with Mercedes and he knows Felix gets really cold in the winter (even though Felix is also from Faerghus? Well Dimitri isn’t a good liar).
What if Byleth has issues connecting names to faces at first so Ignatz offers to draw little labeled sketches for Byleth to go off until they memorize them. And maybe Byleth studies them like they’re the student because they feel bad for not remembering which of their students are which.
Just little details.

Dimitriverse here. And I'll use it as pretext to talk about Hopes. 'In this essay I will ☝️...'/j I must be one of the few - if not, the only one- (who's not on board with the anti-church propaganda |Just in case: I grew up in an atheist house| and not a Byleth hater either) who actually liked hopes because it supports and enhances houses narrative view (contrary to the common belief that it's the opposite).
Hopes shows a constant comparison between both games. And we know that this universe plays a lot with the parallels between different characters, and relationships. Both similarities and contrasts. Hopes is a contrast, seen from Shez's perspective.
It is established from the beginning that they only see the superficial positive qualities of the leaders, just like general tone presented of this game.

Here I'm going to focus mostly on AM's goal and its contrast in AG.
In AM Dimitri achieves redemption and benevolence through forgiveness and acceptance. These lessons he learns from Byleth - the teacher/ the guide/ the enlightened one (the class enlightened one is mea to alude that who have more knowledge and greater understanding of something, who also aludes to the original aspect of the game. Nirvana. The JP Byleth class) in an indirect way. Byleth in turn gets it from the goddess herself but also their life lessons/experience from GM, and the people surrounding them. WC is an important and crucial stage in Byleth's development, as is the interaction they have with the diverse students they tutor.
The role of Byleth goes beyond a mundane "self-insertion" of the player. Byleth is meant to be a bridge between that goddess and humans: the path to Nirvana.
Both forgiveness and acceptance are mentioned in the game but can go unnoticed due to the level of subtlety they are mentioned, but they are core elements in Buddhism such as compassion and wisdom that serve as a path to inner peace and freedom (specially for the leaders who rule over big factions of people), and breaks the chain/cycle of suffering, anger, revenge, resentment, among others.
And that reminds me of Arval's constant words: "the cycle of this world". What does Arval mean? The cycle of this world… said by an Agarthan "deity", whose only role in the game has been to generate constant conflicts between the inhabitants of Fodlan and beyond perhaps? so that they kill each other. I don't know Joe, something here smells weird -wink wink- (Not to mention it also emphasizes the qualities achieved through Nirvana)
It's Important to understand the importance of Forgiveness and everything involved in the act. Understanding forgiveness, as a spiritual practice, goes beyond simply letting go of resentment. It involves cultivating mindfulness and compassion towards oneself and others. Since the game has heavily references and basis from Buddhism you can grasp it from there (more than Christianity, I'm sure different faits have somewhat different or similar approach to some concepts). But need to mention the act is also applied from a physiological and neurological perspective (in case you're not much of a "fait" person like me. I still like the Buddhism take tho, from a philosophical standpoint💖).
Anyway, Dimitri AM manages to learn those lessons and is not just "to learn to live for himself", which is also important, but it is only possible to achieve it through the through the acts already mentioned: forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, etc. Acts that acts that are practiced externally towards others but which are mostly an act towards oneself. Compared to Dimitri AG where the path chosen is revenge.
Misfortune always dogs the steps of one who gives way to the desire for revenge.
Does he get the answers he thinks he wanted? Yes Did it satisfy him? A Dimitri fan knows it didn't. Can Dimitri's friends help him? No, because they're in a similar situation or under similar believes, and this game displayed it.

Sopilers: No, they won't get anything from getting revenge and certainly doesn't help to move on. Much less Dimitri, who's mental health has only been addressed at the end of a couple of supports. Is Shez a bad person? No! but they help no one and just goes along with whatever the leader says. Is Arval/Epimenides a bad entity? This is where I think, the original concept of the game is applied, the one mentioning. There's no good or bad, only a matter of perspective. But of course, that's something arguable and extense that deserves its own analysis.
At the end of all 3 routes, the war continues (despite having finished off Thales in AG) because the cycle continues. The cycle of anger, of suffering, of revenge, of prejudice, etc. And in my opinion, I think that's beautiful (the comparison, I mean). Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

I say this as the biggest Felix stan in the world.
Felix should have been the one to die protecting in Azure Moon instead of Rodrigue.
The entire game, Felix is the one fighting the most against the ideals of Faerghus and Knighthood. He's the one who is constantly calling Dimitri out on his bullshit. He's the one who is preaching to the choir about making their own choices and to respect the choices of the living and dead alike and not to glorify death as something to be proud of.
If Felix had died, and managed to give Dimitri one last smack to the head about people making their own choices as to what they believe in, it would have had far more weight to it. Because not only is this a character who was once a friend to Dimitri, this is a person who, despite everything, still chose to follow him even when their beliefs and convictions were at odds. Who stuck with him even when he was constantly crying out about how Dimitri is not well.
Not only that, but imagine Rodrigue actually stopping to look back on his own actions and actually taking responsibility for his own failures as a father to his own son, and a father figure to his ward? Realizing that he was so caught up in knighthood and trying to keep a promise to Lambert that he ended up failing in keeping that promise, and now has no one to take his place as the Shield of Faerghus. He has to live with all the unresolved emotions between him and Felix, while trying to now live up to the example his own son has put forward and righting his own wrongs.
I love Felix, but if someone had to die for Dimitri, it should have been him.
(Granted no one should have died because Byleth can literally turn back time and there was plenty of moment Byleth could have stepped in but that's a complaint for another day.)

If it's alright, can I ask why you like the Golden Deer house more than the Blue Lions or Black Eagle houses? Like, what caught your eye about them over everyone else?
So I actually got into FE3H through a friend of mine, @dar-draws, who I already knew through mutual good taste (Dickkory), and fanarts like this one, this one, and this one plus the way she talked about Claude and Claudeleth caught my attention. I watched a couple playthroughs of the Golden Deer route on YouTube and absolutely fell in love (before finally getting a switch just to play it myself, for which I was violently bullied here). So like, I was already going into the game biased, which is part of why when I got it I went ahead and played through Golden Deer before doing all the other routes in turn; it was genuinely important to me to personally see all sides of the story. But even as I've played the other routes and replayed SS and AM and gained even more of an appreciation for them, I'm still always sort of drawn back to VW and the Deer.
I think it's ultimately vibes-based, but I'll try to articulate it. I'm not really a big fan of "cozy" sorts of games—I've played and enjoyed ACNH, but the things I most enjoyed about that game were finding things to do and goals to complete, like completing the main quest line or filling up the museum. So it's not so much that I find the Golden Deer to be cozy so much as adventurous. They're not inherently personally invested in the conflicts of White Clouds (they don't know Lord Lonato or Miklan, and their house leader isn't [gestures generally]), but they're also not just ping-ponging through the story. They go through the same events as the other two houses, but they're coming at it from more of an outsider's perspective, and their choice to get involved and react and respond feels more active.
The Deer also don't have any real reason to follow Claude, either, and in the early game they make sure he knows it; none of them are really all that concerned that they're speaking to the future Grand Duke of their country. Lysithea snaps at him, Leonie shoots the breeze with him, Raphael is jovial with him, Lorenz undercuts him, Hilda is blase with him, Marianne tries not to talk to him, and Ignatz gets into theological debates with him. Over the course of the game, they develop the same loyalty to Claude that the other house members already have for their leaders almost by default, and it feels a lot more earned because we see it happen. And that in turn makes scenes like the one at Myrddin, where Claude reveals his true goal of opening the border with Almyra and embracing foreign cultures and the other Deer are surprised but trust Claude and follow his lead, that much more satisfying.
I was a little surprised, when I played through the other three routes, that aside from the designated talking-with-the-cast scenes every route gets, the characters who aren't house leaders or retainers don't really have all that much to do in the story. On Verdant Wind, you pretty consistently have members of the Golden Deer appearing in other cutscenes and giving their two cents; there's even a unique scene where Lysithea realizes there's something up with the Empire's mages because of her backstory and approaches Claude and Byleth about it. It's nothing too obtrusive—they do still have to accommodate the potential for character death—but it's those small details that make a difference to me. Every house has a particular dynamic with odd silly quirks, but the Deer being just that little bit more integrated into the story really helps sell the idea that they belong here and they're making this story their own.
There's also the matter of where specifically their adventure takes them. I respect the choice to focus on Dimitri in Azure Moon, because it does handle his character and arc very well and I think also does the other Lions justice (with the exception of Dedue), but it's also focused largely on Dimitri's personal arc and the Tragedy of Duscur and doesn't really follow through on a lot of the events of White Clouds. (Which some Blue Lions stans have been okay with because they think the Agarthans are bad villains, which...that's valid, but stories still have to like, address plot elements they set up.) Verdant Wind, by contrast, does actually pull back and try to figure out the real impetus behind the whole conflict, and it ends with them beginning to properly lay Fodlan's true problems to rest.
So while the route isn't flawless and I do think there are issues with how characters are written that are part of larger trends within the game and the series as a whole, there's a very specific kind of fantasy adventure energy with the Golden Deer that I enjoy. I think the stories I'm most drawn to are the ones that keep their eyes on a specific goal but still make you feel like the characters would bring that same energy to goofing around with each other, and I think that's something Verdant Wind does very well.
#fe3h#golden deer#fe3h meta#asks#that reminds me i should really replay cindered shadows idk why i haven't#also reminds me. dar followed up that post a year later bc we both got a 3ds to play awakening to romance chrom#the ground is level at the foot of the cross

Guys, I think I figured out why Claude believes the Central Church preaches isolationism.
Look at the history of the Alliance. When they broke off from the Empire, the were conquered by the Kingdom and ruled by them for 60 years. When they managed to become independent, they set up the roundtable which resulted in the Church not having the same sort of power within their region. But thinking about this, the Eastern Church would have broken off from what we know as the Western Church. And said Western Church is fanatical... and xenophobic, wanting to kill Rhea in the present because she allows foreigners at Garreg Mach. They call Rhea an apostate because of what she does in her own jurisdiction, but we also know that TWSITD have infiltrated and manipulated the Western Church for their own purposes and those guys are racist as fuck.
Now think about it, Lorenz believes the Church preaches isolationism, but he’s from the Alliance. The scripture he would have gotten is from the Eastern Church that broke off from the Western Church. We don’t know when TWSITD first began using the Western Church, and for all we know it could the result of difficult relations with their neighbours over the centuries, but Lorenz’s instruction would not have been from the Central Church.
And look at what the third reason is for why there was a ban on a printing press. “3. Risk of intensifying disparity between church branches. Different branches of the Church preaching different messages. It’s saying that the Church of Seiros isn’t a monolith.
The Eastern Church must have held onto the xenophobic beliefs of the Western Church when they splintered off, not helped by 40 years of Almyra invading them. Claude saw this, heard what the Eastern Church was saying, and took Rhea’s non-interference as acceptance. But then you look at what Lorenz says at the end of Flower, the nobles aren’t actually religious and merely using the Church as a means to legitimize their power. Thus, while the Eastern Church preaches isolationism, the nobles of the Allaince don’t care and do trade with other nations. As a result, Lorenz can believe the Church says not to interact with other nations as that’s what the Eastern Church says, all while nobles in Alliance territory do just that.
That scene where Claude questions Lorenz on this is also the scene where he talks about getting to know people rather than jumping to conclusions. He points the diversity at Garreg Mach despite the teachings of the Eastern Church, and the whole deal with the Western Church during White Clouds would only further serve giving Claude evidence against Rhea being racist. In the end, Claude actually ends up talking to Rhea, learning about her, and ends up believing Byleth needs to be just like her in giving the people salvation. Just get rid of the racism from the Western and Eastern Churches. Not only that, Claude ends up fighting the people who were controlling the Western Church and who committed genocide against Rhea’s people. Claude wants to fight racism, and Verdant Wind sees him go after the actual racists rather than the ones he assumes are racist. He also realizes Almyra doesn’t do it’s people any favors acting like a bunch of drunken frat boys.

As a Fates fan I'll give my take: Corrin's thing is at it's core sexism. And since most FE fans appear to be gamer dudes they don't like those traits on a male character, the female version gets a pass because that's just how girls act. So Corrin get's both the ew emotional boy and the girl gets the critique that Celica and Erika get and it's a perfect storm. That's all it is and it'll never change especially when you look at how the world appears to be going backwards. Byleth though? Byleth is just so cool and relatable, Byleth is a great character unlike Corrin and both versions are so badass and don't you dare say the female version is fanservice too because she actually does something fight the power. Byleth makes sense why everyone fawns over me-him! Before Byleth everyone was praising Robin for being a great avatar and why can't Corrin be more like Robin (who for the record is almost more of what gamer men consider an acceptable personality) Now we have Alear who is also more emotional so due to that gets shit but not quite the extent of Corrin. Put that with his design (lots of people don't like it compared to the other male avatars who have similar hair while ever Corrin haters think FCorrin is cute) and all the shit slinging Fates gets for "having a bad plot/no continent name etc" and it's a recipe for disaster. But the base is sexism and that's why to this day Corrin is over criticized.
Y'know, that does run in the back of my mind, because you're right. Corrin gets the same types of hate that female lords got pretty exclusively in previous games. Naivete, complicit in bad things while trying to make the best of a situation, getting positions people don't see as deserved, being on the losing end/getting trapped, etc.
The exceptions would be ones like Lyn, Elincia, and Lucina, but those are also characters who have their "main character/lord" status put into question constantly, and the reason for that is probably the reason they don't get as much hate. They're not the most central part, so whatever happens to them isn't a slight on the player by way of absence of control.
As you say, Byleth and Robin being cool and competent at all times is welcome because people can project themselves onto that and find relatability in spite of the fact that they have established and immutable traits inherent to their design and writing. But it goes further when you consider other lords and the forefront behind their popularity. Ike has Smash of course, but he's also a no-nonsense merc who's not afraid to speak his mind. Hector, Alm, Ephraim and Chrom have similar vibes as well. Sigurd and Leif are venerated because of being from games that are genuinely pretty genius in writing and (sometimes) game design, and their popularity is only kneecapped by the fact that their games aren't overseas. Yet even then, they still share the "get shit done" type of personalities, the fact that they have to be developed out of those aspects notwithstanding.
But the others? There's a connecting line when it comes to Marth and Eliwood, because they have very similar traits. Marth gets by with Smash and first lord legacy status but I find it hard to see anyone declare him as their favorite. Roy would be in the same position had Smash not been a factor, since he's even more like Marth than his dad is tbh. Seliph would be the oddball considering his CYL win, but FE4 fans were smart in banding together behind one character that time.
The point is, going by the idea that a significant portion of the player base is a certain demographic, we can parse this into a pattern. Possible subconscious unintended misogyny affecting perception of characters who embody stereotypically "feminine" traits (Celica, Eirika, Micaiah, Corrin and Alear); extension of that dislike to fond ambivalence to characters who, while they don't have the former issues that the previous ones have, still aren't "masculine and action oriented enough" to be the auto favorites (Marth, Roy, Eliwood, Lyn, Elincia and Lucina); and characters who, for better and worse, will have massive fans because of the no-nonsense vibe (Alm, Hector, Sigurd, Leif, Ike) and/or for projectional power fantasy (Robin and Byleth).
Part of this is also definitely how IS writes each of these characters, that can't be understated. Having a prominent trait of "Naive and Indecisive" be a staple for that many female lords, inches towards "WTF Territory." But the audience bias needs to be seen as well, I feel.
Including what you say, as it's incredibly egregious with Corrin atp.

i don't believe blue lions route "fit white clouds the most" because literally every route has it. i know the general explanation is because the characters have personal involvement with some of the chapters (ie ashe with lonato and sylvain with miklan) but these chapters are there because: in lonatos case it is to establish there are other church branches and the western one is considered to be more violent and racist, and on miklans case is to introduce how to deal with a monster unit and a small explanation on heroes relics and one example of what happens if its "in the wrong hands". it also ends up being diminished when ashe and sylvain can be recruited to other routes
these chapters also serve what house leaders think: edelgard didnt say much about lonato but talked about how commoners fought what they believed in and admits she would willingly risk her peoples lives for her own goals (her words not mine) and something something crests bad. dimitri tries to comfort ashe and explains to byleth about those in power would do anything horrible and claim it as a just cause and explains while yes disinheriting miklan for not being crested is bad and shouldve not happen it is unfortunately been a thing in the kingdom for awhile because of constant northern invasions and they needed relics for better defense. claude being an outsider obviously isn't familiar with lonato so he only talked about the heroes relics because catherine was there (tho he did mention in battle how the common folks are the ones would suffer from skirmishes the most) and after the miklan debacle he questions the power and origin of heroes relics while tomas (whos already solon by this point) is giving claude some info which feeds to his curiosity and suspicion about the church
really these two chapters are a fascinating window into a house leaders thoughts about the main topic of crests and what it is to be a good leader and it's unfortunate its being used as a "well this route fits this house better" schtick :/
This was actually very interesting to read

f!Byleth getting sick and Seteth taking care of her ? (If you didn't write anything similar already)
(This is perfect because I've actually been sick the last five days...I manifested it with all the sick fics!!! ;;;; A ;;;; )
The doors to the Archbishop’s private chambers were tightly sealed. None were allowed in or out without express permission from her prime minister, i.e. the head of her security, top advisor, vice director of the monastery’s medical wing, and perhaps most importantly-
Anxious husband.
After five years of nothing but good health and busy schedules, perhaps it was only a matter of time before one of you finally worked yourselves hard enough to get sick.
That was Mercedes’ deduction from your examination (after Flayn convinced Seteth to allow her in). As a result of your horrific diagnosis, your right hand man in all aspects of your life now found himself playing another key role; personal physician.
“Your fever does not seem to be improving.” Seteth’s comforting hand withdrew form your forehead, finding the heat far stronger than was healthy. His expression was tight and fixed in a grimace, which you were sure wouldn’t go away any time soon. “How is your breathing? You still sound congested…”
“Can’t really breathe out of my nose.” You confirmed with a huff, pressing your head back into the pillows in order to alleviate the tension in your skull.
Seteth nodded, darting to the washroom to procure the hot water still steaming in the basin. “Just a moment, dear.”
It was only a few moments before he was back at your side, a cloth dipped in hot water ready and waiting to be placed on your forehead.
You hummed in relief when he settled it just above your eyes, the soothing warmth working wonders to ease the discomfort.
“There is some salve Cethleann brought that should help with the congestion in your chest. May I untie your nightdress?”
You cracked an eye open at him, the slightest twinkle of amusement within. “We have been married for two years, Seteth. You do not need to ask permission to take care of me.”
“Being married is not an excuse to cross boundaries.”
“What if I am stabbed in the chest and you must dress the wound? Would you ask permission then?”
“That is a ridiculous and terrible question, Byleth. I refuse to answer it.” He scoffed, shooting you quite an annoyed glare. “If you are well enough to tease me, then perhaps you do not need my help, after all.”
“I am terribly sorry.”
“That doesn’t sound very convincing.” He huffed, making you smile.
“I truly am. Thank you for asking permission to take care of me. You are ever the gentleman.”
“Indeed I am.” His indignance settled just slightly, and he returned to his task, carefully untying the laces of your nightdress, just enough that he could apply the topical in soothing circles.
You inhaled deeply, your body relaxing as the salve worked its magic. Seteth’s fingers hesitated for half a second, and you fought the urge to smile.
“...Having second thoughts about being a gentleman, my love?”
“Tch!” He clicked his tongue, finishing his work and hastily withdrawing in a huff. “Of course not! I was simply worried I had hurt you by pressing too hard.”
“Darling, I’ve told you many times that you should press harder. You’re always far too gentle.”
“Byleth.”
The tips of his ears burned red as you snickered, your poor husband incapable of escaping your teasing even when you were bedridden. Your eyes remained closed, listening as he quickly screwed the lid back on and clacked the salve back in the medicinal cabinet in the bathroom.
When he returned, his breathing had steadied, and you assumed he had calmed down some from your prodding.
“Sorry, Seteth. I shouldn’t tease you when there’s nothing you can do about it.”
“You’re right. You shouldn’t. It is hardly fair.” you could hear the frown on his lips, giving you the slightest twinge of guilt.
You peeked up at him, finding Seteth’s expression far from annoyed. Rather, he looked very focused, as he did when checking on a patient in the medical wing.
For just a moment you were lost in his image; he looked so handsome like this, especially when he was focusing on you. He looked like a statue, sometimes; he was far more perfect than he realized.
His hand touched your forehead again, testing your temperature.
“How is your breathing?” A gentle question pulled you from your reverie.
You nodded, “It’s better. Thank you for tending to me.”
“Of course.” He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. A smile curved the edges of his lips, “There is nowhere else I would rather be than by your side.”
“Even when I’m like this?”
“Especially when you are ‘like this’. Now, you should rest while you are able to breathe easy. I will prepare something for you to eat once you wake.”
“If you insist. I wouldn’t dare disobey the doctor’s orders…certainly not after he’s been so kind in spite of my bullying.”
Seteth chuckled softly...a dangerous sound that was rare in itself. You looked up at his retreating form.
“It is only because I know I will be able to repay you for your bullying once you’re better. I need only bide my time.”
You weren’t sure if the shiver that ran down your spine was the fever or the heat in your husband’s words.. But your heart skipped a beat nonetheless.
“Of course, if you will allow me, my love.”
You beamed, finding a hopeful glimmer in his eyes when he turned to look at you from the door.
“Of course, Seteth. I look forward to it.”
A delightful pink warmed his face before he shut the doors behind him, off to procure whatever broth you’d have as your next meal.
You settled back into your bed with a giggle. Dreams of Seteth’s sweet touches and ridiculously adorable smiles only made your healing sleep all the better.

Chris Thorndyke (Sonic X) vs. Cyril (Fire Emblem)
Y'all Hate Kids: Screwed By The Writers

Propaganda below the cut
(edit: added the cut)
-
Chris Thorndyke (Sonic X)
Chris Thorndyke is THE hated kid in the Sonic fandom and for what??? The whimsy of being sonic's friend?????? Being neglected by his parents but not acting like the sad little neglected child in a gacha movie????? Because the dub writers made him a little more annoying???? For years if you searched the chris thorndyke tag it was NOTHING but vitriol and anger towards this child. His one crime was thinking Sonic was cool and the fandom sentenced him to death for it.
Cyril (Fire Emblem)
cw: Slavery, racism, grooming , Human trafficking, child soldiers, warfare, war orphans
"This boy. This POOR BOY. Would've submitted him to Yall Hate Teens if I could have, because BOY does the fandom rag on him. But thankfully, he applies to this one as well.
Jusr for some background. Okay so we got this 14 year old kid. Born in a (non-white) country with a lot of emphasis on fighting (which is iffy in its own sense too), and he ends up put in a battle at a young age. During this battle, he's captured by the soldiers of a noble family from the white people continent, and made into their ""servant"" (but let's be real, they aren't paying him.) Eventually, he's rescued by the pope, who is secretly a dragon, and he becomes very indebted to her because of this. He becomes almost fanatical in his respect for her, and that's where the main source of people disliking him in the fandom comes from. They think he's annoying. Or make really gross sexual jokes about him (14) and the 100 bajillion year old (that was hyperbole) dragon pope who arguably groomed him according to certain interpretations.
Anyway, for the things the writers did to him! Well, for one, a few of his supports are pretty bad. One particularly terrible one stands out-- his Hilda support. In which he's doing his job, working hard and stuff and she starts saying all these racist comments about how she didn't know that his people were capable of that. He's (rightfully) really rude to her for their first 2 supports, but eventually they have a slightly more friendly relationship. Their A is her bringing home a letter from her brother, telling her that racism is bad. That was what it took for her to realize that, by the way.
Okay, a little iffy, but guess what? You remember the noble family that he was ENSLAVED BY? YEAH. She is a member of that family. And in their paired ending? They get married. He marries the racist white woman who basically decided that he was one of the good ones. You want to know who he DOESN'T gave a paired ending with? Someone who can share his experience of growing up with a complex relationship with his culture. Or the guy who is curious about him and his life and helps to show him the beauty in the mundane, in a really very sweet support that tragically only goes up to B, wanting to go on a trip with him to see his homeland when everything is over. Or the ither person of color who feels questionably indebted to a powerful white person. Also his Byleth S support is really weird and creepy.
Oh, and he was completely cut out of the spin-off game. He was supposed to be playable in it, but they cut him out. You kill him in Scarlet Blaze (or maybe he doesn't die. I forget. You fight him.) And I think he sometimes shows up in other routes but that's it. He was done so dirty by the writers, the fandom, everyone. It's really fucked up."
-
I was fine with Cyril but a ton of people online SEVERELY hated my boy for just existing so I grew to love him out of spite. Cyril's backstory had him as a child soldier that was captured by the enemy nation where he became a servant to a noble family. Archbishop Rhea noticed Cyril and took him to Garreg Mach Monastery where he willingly works for her out of gratitude for giving him a home when he was at his worst. Because he's a kid (who's also far more mature than some of the older cast) Cyril was one of the few characters who was critical of the protagonist from the get go and I think this brought in the hate. Like- Cyril WAS a kidnapping victim but he's also mature enough to recognize that his home nation wasn't perfect and only encouraged a bloody culture that kept making orphans. Cyril technically doesn't need to work or stay at Garreg Mach but he does so because he feels that he owes Lady Rhea and the localization of FE16 smooths over a lot of that info. Like- leave my boy aloneee he's just living his own life instead of making the protagonist the center of his universe. He's a child soldier that has yet to really find his place in the world after finally being given the reigns of his own life. Cyril my son. Cyril my boy- you are more than all the hate. Be free my child

Happy birthday, Byleth!
Here’s a mini story under the cut I wrote to celebrate. Forgive any spelling errors.
Seteth had overslept.
He had planned this whole thing out in his mind, waking early, getting the gift wrapped neatly, finding the Professor with her father in the Captain’s office like she usually was in the early mornings before training.
Instead, he had gasped awake from a nightmare of his daughter lying bloodless on the floor, ran to check on Flayn, caught her trying to manage her curls in her nightdress, was kicked out of her room, and left in the hall with mind, and heart, racing.
The Professor would have already moved on to train. He rubbed his eyes, ran fingers through his own hair and noted he too needed to brush.
Seteth got himself ready, tucking his gift gently against his chest and set out to the grounds.
Only to be stopped by not one, but two, students who wished to transfer to the Professor’s class. “Just before the Battle of the Eagle and Lion?” he asked, exasperated.
Linhardt nodded. “Hanneman wants me on the front lines and that’s a no from me.”
“I saw how good she can fight, and I know she’ll make me even stronger!” Caspar added, pumping a fist in the air.
“Right now?” With enthusiastic nods, he sighed. “Follow me to my office.”
With things signed and students moved, he finally was able to get to the training grounds. He opened the doors to see no one there.
And as he turned, knowing she could not have gotten far to the bathhouses to freshen up, he realized he had left the gift on his desk.
With the morning scrapped, he went to grab breakfast.
“Oh, brother!” Flayn greeted him, hair brushed through and no more sleepy ire in her tone. “How did she like it?”
“I haven’t had a moment to give it to her.” Seteth sat with a frown. “I have forgotten it in my office.”
His daughter giggled and he could only shake his head.
.
The morning rushed by in a flurry of meetings and guidance before he realized he hadn’t found the Professor yet. With his gift in hand, he knew the students and teachers would be let out for lunch soon, and it would be the best time to give it to her.
Of course, it was also the best time for a wyvern to become suddenly hostile. “I apologize, Seteth!” The stablemaster said, rubbing the back of his neck. “You always handle them so easily.”
“Better to calm him down than to have anyone’s arm bitten off.” With another weary sigh he held the gift against him as he quickly followed the man out to the stables.
Lunch time ended and classes began again by the time Seteth was done.
And he was covered in mud. There was no easy fix, he would need to go bathe before he met with the Eastern Church representative from Leicester Alliance. The stablemaster thanked him again, Seteth would never dare to show his frustration at something not under their control, so he accepted the gratitude then moved back to his apartments.
Freshened up, meeting done, and it was time for tea with Rhea. “How are the wyverns?” she asked with a small bit of amusement in her voice he didn’t appreciate.
“Just fine,” he sniffed, then took a slow sip of tea.
.
Dinner rolled around quicker than he expected. Flayn was eating with her new class, so Seteth decided it was best for him to not interrupt and take his meal in his office.
Just as he sat at his desk, he remembered he had left his gift in the stables. With a gasp, he nearly spilled his water as he stood up to go retrieve it.
Seteth swung open the door to see the Professor. “Oh!” He blinked, she raised a brow. “Professor!”
“Byleth.”
“Yes, ah, my apologies but I have forgotten—”
“This?” Seteth sighed as she held up the neatly wrapped present. He accepted it as she added, “I bumped into the stablemaster and he wanted me to give it to you.”
They stared at the gift Seteth wondering when exactly this day went wrong. “I thank you. Um.” He awkwardly held it out to her. “It’s actually for you.”
Byleth looked down. “Oh.”
“Yes, ah. It’s your birthday.” Seteth could feel his cheeks burn at his fumbled message. “I mean to say, it is your birthday.”
Byleth’s mouth quirked up as he took a hand and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Goddess—Happy birthday, Byleth.”
“Thank you.” And somehow he didn’t melt when her fingers lingered on his as she took the gift back from him. “I appreciate it.”
“It’s no, um, problem. After everything you have done for me this month. I…well, I hope you find it useful.” Seteth placed his hands behind his back, willing himself not to mess up this next sentence. “Have you eaten dinner? I can share.”
“I have.” For a strange reason he felt himself deflate, but then nearly blushed when Byleth smiled up at him again. “But would you like some company?”
“I would.” Seteth stepped aside and let her walk into his office.
And when the months grew frigid and the wind had everyone bundling up, Seteth saw Byleth wearing the white scarf in the distance and hid his smile in his own.

Do you ever think about how perfectly the three house leaders embody the concepts of "past, present, future"? At least in Houses, it gets a little more muddled in Hopes
Dimitri heavily embodies the past and the way it can drag you down. He forgets the importance of the present and even when going to the officer's academy, he's only going to get access to church records to investigate the tragedy of Duscur, as evidenced by that one event where Dedue and Byleth happen upon him researching late at night in the library and he's investigating Arundel. Even by the end of Azure Moon, he's still not thinking about the future, only putting a stop the the present cruelty and focusing on trying to help that girl he knew in the past until he realizes he can't. It's not until the very end of the game that he breaks from the shackles of his past, but he's also never 100% in the present due to, in Azure Moon, the past never 100% being demystified, as shown by how those who slither in the dark are only eradicated in specific epilogues if you recruited the right characters + bought the DLC.
Edelgard easily represents the present. Her entire focus is on the events of her lifetime and the conclusions she came to based only on (incorrect) past and present information. She came to a conclusion very young and never waivered from it nor investigated it further and only looks towards fixing the problems of the present. The present is built upon by the past, and she perfectly shows that by holding onto past facts to influence the present, but she does not consider the long term future. A youtube video I watched but can't remember the channel name for (I will edit it in as a link if I can remember it) once pointed out that with a merit based appointment system, it'll fall apart as soon as Edelgard is gone and no longer there to maintain it. Not to mention that, like Azure Moon, Crimson Flower has the same issue of only borderline mentioning those who slither in the dark's ultimate demise, and we don't even get a satisfactory ending to that in Crimson Flower. (Side note, Silver Snow is better abut this but is not entirely relevant as that is a Lordless route).
Claude meanwhile is always looking towards the future, informed well by the past and present. He is, of course, aware and affected by the past and present, but like the future itself uses it to build the road to tomorrow. And unlike Dimitri and Edelgard, who have a single minded focus and don't plan for backups, understands that there's no guarantees in anything and is always planning contingencies when he can. And because the future is built from the past and present, he's also the character who most seeks out to demystify them in order to build that future, because even if you don't know a past event, it will still have ripple effect into the future. It's what makes it very important that, unlike Dimitri and Edelgard, Claude steps down from leadership of Fódlan entirely once he uncovers the full truth and realizes that, for all intents and purposes, his type of leadership isn't needed in Fódlan after what it went through and that his next best step is to go back to Almyra and start the next steps there. In fact, in Verdant Wind, they actually almost entirely take care of those who slither in the dark with the only remaining one being Cornelia, but even THEN he had a contingency when he came back to save Fódlan with the Almyran army in the epilogue. Even in other routes, he manages to always perfectly plan for both his demise and his victory, culminating (outside his own path) in Crimson Flower where he plans for his own death. He never stops thinking about the different twists and turns the future can take and plans for it.
This ended up a little bit Claude heavier but to be fair, he usually gives me more to think about.

I see your writing for fire emblem engage and I really love that game and I just finished it for maddening. I don’t know if this is a request or not but may I ask in the context of the base emblems, can you rank them based on how extreme they would be as a yandere like I think I would rate emblem Celica as 12th cause even if she turns yandere she still very passive and more so she’s just clingy but I would rate Byleth a 4th due to him being extremely manipulative and overprotective
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
Hii, welcome to the blog! I´d say normally I would consider this a request but I´m kind of in the mood to write for fire emblem right now so I thought this would be a fun little thing to do ^^
Now I must confess that for most of the lords ( which the majority of emblems are) I have some difficulty with trying to think of them as a yandere or in a self-shipping context in general. Don´t really know why that is. I also haven´t played all of the games yet so I can´t say too much about some of them, I hope that´s okay!
Also because I have a real hard time ranking things in order, here are just some thoughts on most of the emblems as yanderes ☺️
3.7k words
gn reader
tw yandere, obsession, worshipping, self-sacrifice, kidnapping, possessiveness
Characters: Marth, Celica, Sigurd, Leif, Roy, Lyn, Eirika and Ephraim, Ike, Micaiah, Lucina, Corrin, Byleth
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
How are the 12 base emblems like as yanderes?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
Marth
Now I´ll have to be honest, I actually haven´t played any of Marth´s games yet so I´m not very familiar with his character. But as with most FE lords, he strikes me as a very kind and heroic character. In Engage he kind of takes the role of a supporter and protector of the Mc and we can see that in general, he is pretty gentle.
He probably wouldn´t be a very bad yandere to be stuck with, I can´t see him ever getting violent with his darling. He strikes me as a protective yandere (something that can be said for most of them) who will do whatever he can to keep you safe while trying to make your stay with him as comfortable as possible.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
Celica
I haven´t quite finished Echoes yet because I´m very bad at finishing games but I agree with your take that she also wouldn´t ever harm her darling. She´s a very devout follower of Mila and I think that same mentality could also apply to her darling. Slowly but surely, she starts seeing them as a divine being worth worshipping. She´s been completely alone for most of her life and after she had to leave Ram Village, she´s been craving more human connections. So when she finally met you, it was like Mila had sent down an angel for her. You were so kind to her, so trusting and good-natured, Celica was immediately fond of you.
She will do whatever she can to aid you in your daily life, she has to repay you for everything you gave her. She´s not very likely to attack other people, even as a yandere, because above else she wants peace. Nonetheless, if a monster or a criminal were to try and attack you, she would kill them no questions asked. No one is allowed to lay their hands on someone as divine as you, she won´t stand for it.
Due to a certain spoilery scene that happens in Echoes, I believe that Celica would also be willing to sacrifice herself for you. If there ever was a point where she would have to choose between your or her own life, she would choose yours without any regrets.
Your survival is of the utmost importance and if that means giving up her life in exchange for yours, then she is happy.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
Sigurd
I have only played the prologue and chapter 1 of FE4 and ragequit when Jamke was killing my units in the forest because I couldn´t get them out in time to recruit him. Oops.
Well from what I know with how his story with Deirdre develops, I believe that Sigurd would fall for you much in the same way: Hard and fast. And if nothing else, Sigurd is stubborn. Once he has his mind set on wanting to make you his, he won´t give up until he finally has you, no matter the consequences. I mean he was literally forbidden from getting with Deirdre and he still did it. He doesn´t care what anyone else says, he doesn´t care if you already have a lover. He knows that the moment you two shared together at your first meeting was magical for both of you. He knows the love between you two is true. And he´s willing to risk it all for you.
It´s a good thing if you actually do feel the same way about him and are single! Because even though he isn´t a bad person, he does conquer several territories in Fe4 without any specific orders to do so. He may not like doing it but if it means he can have you, he would be willing to kill any romantic rivals there might have been ( or any he might have imagined).
Once you´re actually with him, he naturally is very protective of you and doesn´t let too many other people get close to you.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
Leif
Now I have to admit, Leif is probably the character I know the least about here. As I said, I never played Fe4 to the point where you would get him and I haven´t played Thracia either. So most of this is just the vibes I get and a few lines from Heroes.
Now Leif has quite a tragic story and has been driven out of his kingdom when he was still young. Ever since then, he had made efforts to try and reclaim what had been taken from him. Because of that, he also strikes me as someone who would fight for his darling. He knows what it´s like to lose people that are important to you ( his parents) and now that he has clawed his way back from the brink, he doesn´t want the same to happen to you, the person he has decided he wants to spend his life with. He´s pretty desperate to protect you actually.
Still, he´s pretty young and so the love he feels for you very much still is a puppy-love kind of thing. He likes talking to you and finds it comforting to do so. He´s very nice to you and you aren´t really in any danger when being with him. I think being with him isn´t all too bad, he´s just a bit over-protective if anything.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
Roy
I´ll be honest, I know almost nothing about Roy so I´m sorry if this is short😭 Predictably, I haven´t played Binding Blade yet.
He´s also one of the younger emblems here and that shows itself in how hard he tries to impress you. He´s usually pretty dense when it comes to romance but he knows what he feels when he sees you. You make him happy. I feel like he could be a bit hot-headed because of his age but as far as I know, he´s actually one of the few lords that can potentially make peace with the final boss of the game so there definitely is quite a lot of kindness to him as well. He doesn´t really want to pick any fights with people he trusts, all he wants is to be with you and if you don´t resist then honestly, it´s all going to be okay.

Lyn
Finally, after quite some time, we get to some more games I´ve actually played! And here we go with Lyn! Fe7 was actually the first Fire Emblem I ever played and it really hooked me even back then <3
Now Lyn actually doesn´t strike me as the type of person who would really actively be looking for any sort of romance. She´s lived alone for most of her life and so she does crave some companionship, but romance is something she really doesn´t have any experience in.
When she meets you, she does feel a bit strange but doesn´t put a lot of thought into it. Quickly as you two spend more time together, she really begins to take a liking to you. It´s nice to not be alone and you´re good company. The more you stay together, the more she grows attached to you. If you can fight, she´ll want to fight along your side, if you can´t or are frail in some way, Lyn will prefer you to stand on the sidelines, where it´s safe. She doesn´t know what she would do if you were ever truly harmed. The attacker definitely wouldn´t be living for much longer, that much is sure.
So to sum it up, Lyn is very protective of you and only trusts a select few people with you, anyone else could be a potential danger and she doesn´t want to risk anything.
I think it would actually be kind of tough for darling to figure out that Lyn is obsessed with them. Lyn doesn´t strike me as very physically affectionate. Only if you watch very carefully can you see the way her eyes soften when she gazes at you or the way her hand around the handle of her sword tenses when a particular troublemaker starts hitting you up. She definitely won´t tolerate anyone trying to flirt with you. She´s known you for way longer than they possibly could have, who do they think they are?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/01ec0a80a3ef4c5b3be490ea647cf0d8/1cfbae128e083390-9d/s540x810/34181d550ba7b7550291aa25c746cedde749e95b.jpg)
Eirika and Ephraim
I know it´s mainly Eirika and Ephraim is only really present in the special attack but I thought this was more interesting.
So having one person obsessed with you is bad enough but two of them? And they´re siblings too? Things are about to get quite a bit more complicated. The thing is, you´re not really sure if this is better or worse than only having one of them?
Of course, having two people focus all of their attention on you is very overwhelming. It stresses you out, the way they both fuss over you, the way they look at you.
Eirika is definitely the gentler one of the two, speaking to you very softly and taking great care of you. She makes sure you aren´t lacking anything (except your freedom). She also isn´t very fond of conflict and would prefer to avoid it altogether.
Ephraim is the brash and more hot-headed of the two, always picking fights with people he deems a threat ("He doesn´t pick fights he can´t win" or whatever) and generally being bolder with his affections. He doesn´t hesitate to throw his arm over your shoulder to show off to others that you´re his while Eirika prefers to simply hold your hand in her own.
Them being siblings also causes conflict from time to time. After all, what kind of siblings never have any petty squabbles? Suddenly one of them believes that the other has been getting a bit more attention from you than them and the arguing begins. Wild accusations from Ephraim that Eirika is coddling you too much while Eirika complains about the brutish ways in which Ephraim disposes of rivals. It can get annoying really fast but it´s also something that you could potentially try to use to your advantage.
Playing clear favorites with them might make them argue with each other, potentially giving you an opening to try to make your escape while they´re distracted. Do be very careful with this though because once they realize that you´re gone, they´ll quickly get over whatever argument they were having and work together to find you again. Siblings tend to have petty fights with each other but they will have each other´s backs when it comes to the important things. They *will* find you again, who knows what dangers you might be getting yourself into?

Ike
Similarly to Lyn, I can´t really see Ike as someone who is very interested in romance. In Radiant Dawn, he only has two paired endings, which isn´t a whole lot honestly ( and they´re kind of vague on how romantic they actually end up being). So maybe he would be more of a platonic sort of yandere? He cares a great deal about his friends and his family of the Greil Mercenaries and he tries his utmost to protect them. It would be much the same for his darling.
Ike wouldn´t be very physically or vocally loving in the traditional sense, he strikes me as someone who would struggle a fair deal with expressing his feelings, especially if we´re talking POR Ike where he is still fairly young. In the end, his confession would be pretty blunt, a simple "I like you." or "You´re important to me." maybe but nothing flowery or dramatic, that just isn´t the kind of person he is.
That being said, Ike cares a great deal about your well-being, even if he isn´t all that great at putting it into words. So to show you that, he does the one thing he does best: Protecting you. Ike is a very strong and capable fighter and so he will be quick to dispose of anyone that tries harming you. I don´t see him as someone that would try to isolate his darling however, especially not the Greil Mercenaries. These people are his family, he trusts them dearly and he would want you to grow connections with them and enjoy being around them. It would shatter his heart if you didn´t like being around them.

Micaiah
Micaiah I see as another worshipper type of yandere. She´s had a rough life so far, only having very few people around her that she could call friends in the Dawn Brigade while fighting for the liberation of Daein. It´s a lonely life, even with Yune whispering into her ear that one day, she will meet the partner of her dreams, the one to make her happy.
And then, on a day like any other, she finds you. It´s a very unremarkable meeting, one you wouldn´t have thought much of afterwards, but to her, it was like all the stars aligned, as if all of her life and past suffering suddenly had a purpose. She was completely starstruck, a loud pounding in her chest when she laid her gaze on you. At that very moment, Micaiah knew that you were the one Yune had been telling her about all along. And so, she vows to let you know just how much you mean to her.
As a yandere, Micaiah is very caring and thinks of you as a higher being, someone who has more worth than any other mortal walking this earth. You are special to her and so she will be damned if anything were to happen to you. She refuses to allow it. If you were ever in any mortal danger, Micaiah wouldn´t hesitate to use Sacrifice on you to transfer over her own life energy to you.
But while she is very nice and caring with you, Micaiah can be quite a bit more snarky and ruthless than you might have initially thought. She doesn´t shy away from making negative or rude comments to people she thinks you spend too much time around. (Remember that scene where she snarkily calls Ike "the father of Sothe´s children" because Sothe talked about him so much? Yeah.) She´s also willing to do bad things if she feels like she has to. If it´s for you, then no crime is bad enough for her not to consider it. She doesn´t like hurting people but she will if her hand is forced.
Also, can we talk about her having a goddess on her side? Yeah, you´re going to have a very difficult time trying to get away from her anytime soon.

Lucina
Lucina is someone that I think actually has great potential to be a yandere. She comes from a ruined future, a world where all her loved ones and friends died and the entire world is doomed. Now she has travelled back in time to change fate and make things right.
A particularly tragic possibility would be to have her witness the death of her darling in her future. It was an event that deeply scarred her forever and one that she is now desperate to avoid. She can´t allow you to die again, she can´t let it happen a second time. She wouldn´t be able to go on if she ever had to experience that amount of grief again.
So when Lucina finally makes it back in time, her top priority is finding you again. To do that, she has to go back in time quite a bit. Maybe she makes it back to a time where you two aren´t dating yet, or maybe even back to when you hadn´t even met each other yet. You´re so overwhelmed and honestly confused when you´re just going along with your day when suddenly, a young woman rushes towards you and engulfes you in a crushing hug as she cries into your shirt about how much she has missed you.
It´s quite terrifying honestly and you don´t know how to react other than trying to rip yourself out of her grip, which only makes her cling onto you even harder. Her explaining to you that she´s from the future where the entire world has ended and you, her lover, had tragically died and that she now traveled back in time to make things right, doesn´t really put your mind at ease either. I mean, who would honestly believe that?
But no matter what you say, Lucina is determined to not repeat past mistakes. She had been too careless, letting you roam around freely without her at your side, it´s what led to you dying! She won´t let it happen again!
Lucina will try and be sweet to you, knowing how hard this must be for you to believe, but she won´t give you a choice in this. She´s going to stay with you and keep you safe no matter what. She´ll follow you wherever you go with her blade at the ready, prepared to strike at anyone who tries to take you away from her again.

Corrin
Corrin has lived a very sheltered life for the most part, never really leaving the Nohrian castle. Because of this, they had many opportunities to picture what life outside the castle could possibly look like. What else was out there? What adventures or new experiences could wait for them there? Yes, they were always loved by their Nohrian siblings but they couldn´t help but yearn all the same.
Maybe being read some romance books in their childhood led to Corrin developing a fantasy of one day meeting their ideal partner, the one that would shake up their entire world, the one they would spend the rest of their life with. They had dreamed about it a lot in the comforts of their own room, delving into daydreams about what meeting you for the first time might be like.
And then they leave the castle for the first time and they meet you. And just like they had always imagined, Corrin feels themselves immediately lovestruck when you send a smile their way. This was it. This is the person they´re meant to be with, they just know it!
They´ll immediately be very friendly and way too trusting of someone who is basically a complete stranger. But they just can´t help it, their sheltered life hasn´t really helped them in growing a healthy sense of suspicion. No, instead the thought of you possibly doing something shady is completely off their mind.
Ever since that first meeting, Corrin would want to see you again every day. It´s the first real human interaction they had with anyone outside of the Nohrian royal family and the servants in the castle and they´re hooked on you. Listening to you talk about your mundane life is so exciting to them, both because they love listening to you speak and because it is genuinely interesting to them to know what a normal person´s life might look like.
And soon enough, they just won´t leave you alone. They´re sweet and their curiosity is kind of charming, but they are so very annoyingly clingy. They will pout and beg you to stay around for just a bit longer when you tell them that you have to leave. After some time they start inviting you over to the castle and you can´t really refuse to go when a royal carriage is standing before your home one day.
And then suddenly, one day you just aren´t allowed to leave anymore.
" The servants have set up your own personal room for you. I made sure that everything was just to your liking! Now we can spend even more time together, isn´t that simply wonderful", Corrin will simply tell you one day and then it is a done deal. Whatever your life was before, you will have to abandon it to fulfill Corrin´s dream of a happy married life alongside the person they adore the most.

Byleth
Honestly, I´ve kind of strayed completely away from trying to rank them as yanderes ( sorry about that) but I agree that kind of everything about Byleht makes them a scary yandere.
First of all, they´re a trained and experienced mercenary, they have all the fighting prowess they might need to keep their darling in check or make sure that nothing happens to them.
Then, they have their affiliation with the church and a certain position of power. Whether you are a student or not, Byleth is still a respected figure in the monastery and has all the benefits that might bring. She has connections to the Knights of Seiros and even with Lady Rhea herself. If you ever were to run away ( or rather, if you were to be stolen away by bandits, is what they would tell everyone afterwards), several knights or even their students would be sent out to look for you. And do you really think you could get away with so many people looking for you? You´ll be back right by their side within 3 days.
Then there´s also the whole... a goddess is in their head talking to them and them having the ability to turn back time thing. Yeah, you´re very much screwed here. How are you supposed to fight back against someone who can simply turn back time? With this ability, they have so many chances to choose the right words when talking to you or to get rid of someone in secret, without you ever knowing these rewinds even happened. In-game we might have a limited amount of uses but I don´t think it´s ever been confirmed that this is actually something that Byleth needs to adhere to in the story.
And then last but not least, there´s the fact that Byleth is just impossible to read. They don´t show any emotions in their facial expressions and their voice is mostly monotone. You would not be able to tell just how obsessed they are with you from interacting with them. You think you´re just having a friendly tea party with them and suddenly you find yourself drugged and locked up in their room.
And even when they finally have you, they´re just kind of creepy with them staring at you for long amounts of time while not saying anything. They´re not very affectionate either.
But what help could you possibly count on now when everyone at the monastery loves the professor?

part of my fondness for Dedue does stem from how reticent he is towards the player
he barely exchanges a few sentences with Byleth in his C-support. it's not until his B-support with Byleth that he talks about his past, and even then, his affect remains flat. "I do not know why I am telling you all of this" -- when all he's said is that he had a sister, and she liked this flower, and seeing it brings back 'memories.' he scowls when he says it, but he doesn't say what those memories are, or how he feels about them.
this stands out dramatically, in a game where most characters readily tell the player intimate details of their past and feelings. Dedue isn't the only one to comment on it -- but when it took him so long to say anything at all, it feels more earned. it gives the impression that Dedue has needed to talk about his sister, and what these flowers mean to him; by matching his silences, and not pressuring him to speak, Byleth has become someone he can tell.
it feels like slowly earning his trust, becoming someone he feels safe talking to, letting him open up at his own pace -- and validating that trust when he does open up, not taking it as permission to demand more.
i like that Dedue retains some agency of his own towards the player, rather than turning into a backstory dispenser. i like that he makes the player work to get to know him, and even then retains his own firm boundaries. it really sets him apart
