Dear Planet of the Apes community, and especially Kingdom fandom: I discovered that the movie is already available in good quality on the Internet, and this is a very bad sign for it’s box office, so I just want to ask everyone not to pirate and support Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes in theaters, it’s really worth it, this film is very beautiful, talented and lovely people has worked on it; deserves to be seen on the big screen.

I think a lot of us want to see a sequel where this story can go (hey all noamae shippers, I know you're reading this) and to do that the movie needs to make money. Even if you don’t have the opportunity to watch Kingdom multiple times or even once, you can support the film by ignoring the pirated version until the official release on disc or streaming. Long live cinema 💌✊🏽

hot opinion: i don't think shifu had parental feelings for tigress. she may have surpassed her comrades and appeared in the palace before them, but i just don't see that he was more emotionally attached to her than to the other members of the furious five. therefore, it is somewhat absurd for me to see the popular opinion that she is like a daughter to him, when there is no reason for this, except the desire of the fans. i have a feeling that he even has warmer feelings for po than for tigress. and still, even po will never be able to even come close (he doesn't need to) to who tai lung (his only canonical adopted child) is was to shifu.

tigress probably sees shifu as a father, but he has never seen a daughter in her. he was too emotionally invested in tai lung and broken to open his heart to anyone else. these two - shifu and tigress - have their own one-sided tragedy, which does not need to be a repeat of the previous one to be interesting.
