* ash whitney is primarily a singer – still has the vibes of having grown up as a triple threat entertainer, but her first love is singing and after years of scandals / acting out, she is finding her footing. ( if she is only pushing out albums or is also doing a vocal job on the side is tbd ) * heath rebreanu's mother theresa is a vocal coach – works in off-broadway productions. * ash was one of the first students tess took on. * considering the fact that ash and heath are close in age ( ~a year apart ), heath would often go to lessons with his mom or they would be hosted at the rebreanu house, which peaked heath's curiosity in music. ( ash and heath likely did not get along, personality differences lmfao ) * theresa teaches heath to play the piano as a child and that is considered a secret talent of his cause he just does it as a hobby. you can likely find a simplistic keyboard stand somewhere in his residence.

bonus vocal coach!tess challenge: ash nails the wicked high note after 3 tries, but heath injures his vocal cords and gives up after 1, which is why he sticks to being an academic ( bioscience ) professor lmfao

Degrees of Lewdity AU: Actor AU

Yes, you heard that right, folks! DoL:ActAU will now be a thing in my blog.

Re-reading this made my brain go BRRRR, because in my head a random person getting their costume's head off is that funny, and from there it all spiraled down.

The Whitney breaks Syd's glasses scene in particular is stuck in my head, because I imagine that at some point, right before Whit can grab the glasses, Syd would scream to wait, making Whit shit himself cuz dude what is happening. The director screams cut, of course. "I'm so sorry, these are my real glasses-" while laughing, and taking them off to give into custody before putting on the props, with Whitney just wheezing in the background.

The genderbent version of LIs would mostly be people that really resemble each other, except for the Kylar duo. They are twins who love to scare other people by just staring at them (it is a running inside joke on set).

Bailey is actually a sweet parental figure off-character, always making sure he didn't actually hurt the other actors (think Jason Isaac in Harry Potter as he switches between the cruel Lucius Malfoy and actually caring for Tom Felton, asking him if he's ok and apologizing when he did in fact hurt him by accident)

Another running gag on set is Harper just.. being there. Smiling at everyone with cold eyes, bombing pictures and selfies. Sometimes they stay in the background of the scene, looking directly at the camera. They say it's funnier to stay in character. Off-character they are very fun to be around, but they enjoy unsettling people. Them and the Kylars are sometimes banned from being in the studio if the scene doesn't need them.

GH got tangled up in the fly system. Everyone laughed and took pictures and videos, but promptly eliminated them at GH's request. They are shy.

The Averys enjoy their role very much. What they don't enjoy is having to drink grape juice or scented water instead of actual alcohol. They do get a nice glass of wine once off-set are over.

Whenever the Wrens are in the studio, F!Whit, M!Robin, the Wrens, F!BW, the Edens, F!Avery and the Baileys get a bit too much into playing cards. Blackjack, Durak, Scopa, Rummy, Machiavelli... the list could go on. They always manage to rope technicians to play with them as well.

Everyone hates the Kylars because their makeup doesn't need much time, while everyone else (ESPECIALLY GH, BW and IW) need enough time to always look polished/roughed up, depending on the situation.

M!Jordan is actually atheist, and whenever he has to talk like a true Christian guy, once his line is over he mocks himself. He enjoys wearing his costume off-set just for shits and giggles, and other actors often visit him in the confessional just to say "I'm sorry daddy, I've been naughty~" "Jail for a hundred years. NEXT"

F!Jordan and Ivory Wraith are actually cousins, and sometimes M!Jordan and Ivory Wraith swap costumes to see if there is any difference other than Jordan's massive tits.

Aaaand that's it, for now! As of now this is how far my brain thought while in the middle of exams, I will slowly add more into it. I don't know if it was already done, but thinking about these jackasses actually play-pretending makes me feel better ^^

I’m STILL hooked on Ash having brawl fights with gym leaders

And like I have a thing now where Lt. surge teaches Ash to brawl but gets surprised when this plucky teen actually already has a good chance against Surge because he’s ruthless and battles cheap and dirty. Country fighting teaches how to fight and win in two ways; be cheap and dirty or bring a gun to the fight. Luckily for Surge, Ash doesn’t have or will ever have a gun.

Surge then keeps little notes here and there for Ash’s travel because he can put an in against a gun leader who also brawl on the down low and instead of throwing Ash at all the normal wrestlers and visibly buff men, Surge sends him against the most out of wack people because Ash can take this chance and learn.

Like Surge is steady and resilient, but slow. If Ash circles him enough, Surge will grow tired and will be easier to defeat. This goes for other people, like Ingo who started this Brawl HC! Ash was surprised to just see him in a dinky little rink on the edge of town and out of his uniform. Blank pants, gray tank top, and hands and feet already taped and ready to go. He teaches self defense boxing for young girl trainers but has been wanting a good sparing partner to let loose a bit. Ash seemed like the perfect fit.

Whitney had actually crafted a fighting style in dance, much like how her own Pokémon mirror, and it’s a sight to see Ash’s country right hooks and her flighty spin kicks. Wallace is more into sword fighting and it takes a while for Ash to actually get it down well enough to hold himself in a minute and a half fight with Wallace.

Volkner is much more into karate and has only ever sparred with other karate students or masters. So he’s never been part of a brawl, like one where you purposely try and bruise each other and break bones for fun. Flint had joined their one and only session and was in awe as he saw Ash routinely put Volkner into the mat for three hours straight. Volkner was definitely not expecting just how strong and resilient this little trainer was. Ingo isn’t the only one in Unova that Ash gets to fight! It’s also why he hasn’t gone after Iris the first week in their travels. Roxie, Burgh, Lenora, Elesa, and Skyla were all available options. All with their own fighting styles.

Roxie was as close as to Ash’s country brawl as any one could get. Brewing up on the streets taught Ash just as much as living in Pallet Town did, though with a few different things. Ash had ultimate put her down at least a few times in their three hour session. Is pure strength as he also trains side by side with his Pokémon had given him the advantage. Burgh was much more like Wallace but he enjoyed staff fighting. Ash had felt giddy when he was led out to a circle in a middle of trees when they first started, it felt like they were in a really cool movie scene.

Lenora was wrestling, she definitely would win against Lt.Surge in Ash’s opinion, it was also a first time in a while he was put flat on his back in seconds. Their session had extended to six hours and Ash friends were worried about him at their hotel room. Elesa more into Budokon which happened to be a hybrid system that combines martial arts training with Yoga. She had put him down onto the ground a few times but he managed to barely get the upper hand on the last few rounds. Elesa was more than impressed at Ash’s complete stamina and utter spite as he easily gives Drake and Alder a run for their money when they rarely cross rings. Skyla hadn’t practice for a long while, so focused on flying, so her grappling is weak and she wasn’t actually forced down to the mat by Ash a lot. He had leaned more into helping relearn techniques and gave her some less commonly known self-defense that he heard Surge give.

Ash would have thought that Cynthia would suggest Grant or Korrina for possible Kalosian partners but Viola had openly challenged him to an actual brawl in front of his friends and her sister. This was the first time since Surge he had watchers, used as an easy example for Lt. surges students and gym helpers, so he was more flighty instead of grounded as he usually was. Though he did end up putting Viola down two to three times before the session was over.

Valerie was trained in Savate, a rare native of fist fighting in Kalos that not much knew, and had spotted Ash in the crowd when she showcased her new line of clothes. After their gym battle she let them stay for the night, coming to Ash at night to ask for a session with him. Unluckily Ash could easily keep her pinned if he could hold her legs down, her arms not as strong enough as her legs were to push him off.

Olympia was into Kendo on her rare free times and their session didn’t even last an hour and a half while her gym was empty. They weren’t really throwing themselves into it as Olympia was rusty and Ash still wasn’t used to holding objects that weren’t rifles or pistols. Lazily batting at each other and laughing when one of them poked the other somewhere on their body. It’s not very much like Kendo but she objects.

Funnily enough he takes his time to try and teach both Serena and Clemont when their Pokémon are taking a break from training. Even Bonnie in case something happens and she needs to hurt someone long enough to get away. Clemont takes to it a lot more easily then the two girls as he already has more strength in his arms and legs from building then they do. So he tries his best to focus on Serena more, Bonnie is actually thriving in his teaching of basic defense, but she’s off in her own world most of the time. Causing Ash to not take her seriously during training and switch to focus on the siblings more.

In Alola Ash didn’t have a lot of people to fight with. He would go to Hala but he isn’t itching for a structured and respectable fight, Ash is craving bruises on his body and the sight of a bloody nose and black eye on his opposer. Ash craves for violence in the best kind of ways. He almost did, right before Ilima showed up. It was the best brawl Ash could get at the time. It was still very much structured and Ilima was very unprepared after suggesting that Ash fight him in a session. He had to tap out after thirty minuets and it only scratched Ash’s itch a little.

He couldn’t really fight his friends and classmates, Horacio on the other hand is just asking for it, their to young and inexperienced and Ash couldn’t teach them their or join them in their native ways. He’s to restless and flighty for Sumo. He couldn’t go to the Professor even though he too had a few alleyway brawls during his Kanto travels. He’s the adult in the situation and he’s too self-respecting and nice to fist fight a barely young adult.

Viren had almost seriously gotten jumped by Ash the fist time he had met his goons taking the Milktank and almost again before Kiawe stood up him. To say his second time was better would be a lie, the Mask Royal had kept a sturdy hand on Ash’s shoulder while Viren and this goons escaped once again. It felt nice to let him trapped in the Ultra Beast but he never mentioned it out loud.

Raihan was actually the one to approach Ash when he and Goh finally make it to Hammerlock, because fuck Journeys. See him in the reception part of his gym, basically begging for a session with Ash. And unlike Ash’s past partners and fellow gym leaders, Raihan fought fucking dirty and cruel.Ash had never laughed so hard before swinging one of his hardest right hook yet until one of Galars Pretty Boy’s face.
