                   THE WORKINGS OF THE MANA MAKER-KUN.

Rchimedes uses the power of MA (negative energy) as a catalyst for his magic which allows him to do anything and everything he so pleases so long as it gives him enough energy. The Mana Maker-kun not only turns said negative energy into MA, but also is an item to amplify its power to the point where it has a solid form he can touch and CONSUME. The stronger the negative feeling, the more power Rchimedes will get in return – Hence as to why he relies heavily on emotions such as hate, but hate is not the only negative emotion that exists.

( It certainly is the fastest way to gain power, this much is certain. )

There are other negative emotions that can feed into his powers, all of which he can sense because of his tie to MA and happens to be its origin. Emotions such as sadness, jealousy, guilt – He can sense them all, and is CAPABLE OF AGITATING AND MANIPULATING THEM to some degree to give himself more power.

When it comes to hate, Rchimedes never completely drains a person of said negative emotion. Rather, it’s quite impossible to quell and he can’t bring himself to find a reason to do so when it’s the most powerful emotion to give him more mana… Other emotions, on the other hand, he may be lenient over. It’s a choice only he himself makes, and he rarely does it, but the Demon Lord may take negative emotions from others to the point where it’s numb, they don’t feel it, or forget why they felt such a way in the first place.

Sadness is an emotion he aims to avoid, for consuming negative emotions of various kinds means they have different flavors, textures, and affect him in different ways. Hate makes him excited, for example – Happy, playful, and giddy because the hate powers him up so quickly. Emotions such as sadness and guilt have a different effect, for he can relate to them more heavily given his past. It feeds into his mana, surely, but it puts him in quite the vulnerable state and memories tend to resurface whereas he can usually keep them buried under his usual attitude.

This being said, as Alba put it, magic is not all dangerous and scary and can be used for good, which is rather obvious given Shion’s way of using magic. Indeed, its origin is dangerous, scary, and destructive – Rchimedes’ magic isn’t all bad.

He is just, in fact, a childish idiot who focuses on the big picture instead of the small details that make and affect said picture, which is of course one of his main downfalls.

*Alba overworks himself. All. The. Time. It’s ridiculous. Ros literally has to go to the research facility, grab him and sit him on the couch and say “You’re going to lay down and take a nap and I am going to watch you and make sure you sleep because from what you’ve just told me you can’t remember the last time you’ve gotten any sleep. If you don’t put your head on that pillow in ten seconds I will knock you out myself, Hero” and Alba just flops right down and he’s asleep in seconds*I feel like Elf and Alf want to get back to their own timeline/world but they’re pretty chill with staying with the others too, they really don’t mind it at all tbh, since the only thing they had in that future was each other so there isn’t an intense need for them to return there*Whenever Crea and Ros hang out they go looking for special sweet delicacies, that’s how they travel, searching for places to eat good food. Also Ros has the biggest sweet tooth in the entire world but he won’t ever admit that out loud*Alba works at his research facility with Salt, and Salt has literally seen him run on no sleep or like 7 cups of coffee so he knows Alba almost as well as Ros and Rchi do at this point. Alba’s told him a lot of secrets including his crush on Ros and Salt can mega relate since he’s got a thing for Lake so they kinda bond over that—and they bond over science too!!*Eruba’s got this super weird fixation with Shion, probably because Shion doesn’t exist in his world, and he’s like “You know I sorta regret killing Rchimedes because now there’s no way the person known as Shion can exist in my world but. That’s alright! I can just take this one for myself” lmao*Every time Rchi comes to visit Alba she somehow manages to convince him to do girly stuff with her. So yeah they paint each other’s nails and Alba braids her hair and they talk about boys and it’s stupid and fun and they have a good laugh about it (sometimes Ros is invited to these things too but it’s not his style so when Alba mentions “girl’s night” he is OUT OF THERE)*Whenever Ros leaves the house and mentions he’s going to see Alba Cecily just gets this knowing, predatory look on her face like “My son is SMITTEN for that Hero boy” and Ros knows she knows but he will never ever acknowledge it in front of her*Almost every weekend Foyfoy takes Marl out somewhere cause she missed a lot while she was in her coma! Sometimes he invites Hime along and it’s like they’re having a date with Marl as their chaperone lmao*Teufel and Ares totally have drinking nights, sometimes they bring along Janua and Samejima as well. Janua and Samejima can hold their liquor like champs but Teufel and Ares CANNOT and it’s hilarious

Q:     what other ideas did rchi have that magic would make possible (besides flower floofing) and dreamed out (may of which were for hjs family likely) do u think

A:     I have so many ideas for Rchimedes and his magic that I should be working on but i’m so lazy and he’s so complicated it’d take a lot of thinking but to me, since he’s the origin of magic and demons (even with the help of Elf) he would know a lot of spells actually, leaning more towards the original elements excluding a few misc kind of powers he made for himself just so he could be ‘cool’.

Even though he knows a lot of spells, he can be pretty biased towards a few specific powers.

Like!! Fire magic (Example: Death Flare when he fought against Samejima and when Alba kinda burst into flames). He wouldn’t use it very much unless he’s attacking a wide area because once it touches something, it can spread easily and he most likely used a lot of fire magic back when he was in control of the Demon World and would murder and destroy villages.

Air would be a really useful magic actually. In my opinion, where he was fighting against Samejima was a kind of air magic because he kinda sliced his fucking arm off. I also think he’d use it to slowly choke people… Like!! Tightening the air pressure around someone so they can’t breathe and making them suffer a slow and painful death or nearly killing them as punishment for being defiant when he’s the Demon Lord and you don’t just fucking defy your god.

He’s used a lot of Earth based magic while creating the Demon World since… Well, for obvious reasons. Not to mention he started off his magic using science and earthy materials with the help of Crea before everything went to shit and Natural shit is usually the origin of a lot of things. Also there’s his flower magic which also comes from there, so the thing that started it all is also what makes his flower magic work in the end. Going into detail about it, of course he’d probably be able to manipulate his surroundings? Making vines do what he wants, trees falling, creating boulders are just some things that can come to mind… Also like, making solid ground turn into quick sand or something of that nature.

Uhm I don’t have many ideas for water related magic… Because if anything it’d be something he’d play with like the childish person he is. Like if he took a bath he’d make little orbs and pop then. Then again, there’s also using the water molecules in the air. I can see him creating ice spears or really sharp things out of ice in general to stab people haha… Especially in the winter time. Assuming the Demon World has winter, but he’d still do that in the human world as well knowing him. There’s also yanno the fact that there’s water in the human body, and one could only imagine what he’d do with that.

Those are just the main elements but there’s also Space magic because he would of needed to have that kind of magic to create the Demon World because it’s separate from the human world an Dimensional rift. He moved Originia and the mountain first with the space magic in my opinion, and he build the demon world using that as a base. Gates are also in the space magic category because it manipulates the space around him to create a portal to another place (or should i say space lol). It can be far away or close by and closing it abruptly cuts off the connection of two separate locations. (Example: Shion getting his arm fucking cut off.) I also think he’d be able to take one thing and move to another place with just the snap of a finger but that’s kind of expected and nearly a common assumption I’m sure?

Then there’s time magic as well, but that isn’t something he’s as skilled in because time is a really touchy thing to deal with, let alone experiment with freely to learn how it works without there being repercussions. He’s played around enough to go back a max of about five hours and forward and slowing down time as well, but that’s all. If he knew how to use it completely, he would’ve already went back to save Cecily and Lake after all so there are limitations and he can’t go changing a bunch of fucking shit yanno, because who knows what might happen. (Stares at Elf and Alf.)

ASIDE FROM THAT, I think a magic he’d create solely for himself to be cool would be electricity based magic. Conjuring blue electricity in the palm of his hand and being able to to use it for various attacks and whatnot, and it can get really dangerous if he’s close when he uses these attacks compared to far away— But it’d still hurt like a bitch. It’d be especially useful towards heroes I’m sure because of the metal of their weapons that attracts it. NOT ONLY THAT, but there’s also the fact that you know electricity can be used in a way relating to bringing people back to life and whatnot… I’m sure a part of him thought he could use this mixed with some other magic to ‘bring back Cecily and Lake’ since he assumed they were dead and stuff and not just sent into the future.

On the topic of mixing magic, He’d probably mix magic of two different elements into one single attack! Take Alba’s situation in the final battle as an example— His body burst into flames, but he was also sent to the Dimensional Rift! So that’d be a mixture of fire magic and space magic, you know? He could manipulate two elements that are advantage together to make an attack all the more devastating and harmful and that’s precisely why he’s someone to be feared. (And he WAS, of course, as you can see from the fear he brings to the human world and all he did to his creations in the Demon World.)

But Rchimedes is someone who’s always creating and thinking so he’d constantly be doing more things with his magic to use them in different ways and create new magic!! The list would slowly be surely growing the more he studies his magic capabilities and experimenting.

ALSO when Rchimedes was first creating Demons, the thing that always came back to his mind was Cecily because she and Lake were the reason that he did all of that in the first place so his thoughts of her and hoping to bring her back kind of bled out onto a certain Demon he created which ended up being the Second, which is why the hair color is the same.Though I doubt Rchimedes would ever tell any of his creations about her, but he’d mumble her name when he’s passed out and 2nd would question it and get confused but he wouldn’t really look into it.And then later on when it comes to Lake’s situation coming to its conclusion, if 2nd ever met Cecily and her name registered as the one Rchimedes would mumble on occasion, he’d just go ‘Ah’ because this is the person he loved. He wasn’t complete trash, he had a wife and probably treated her like a queen.So 2nd would be really polite to her because that’s technically his mama (✿´‿`)

Because (my) Rchimedes has been reborn from pure mana instead of his soul being put in another body like this was the case the first time around, this new body of his is completely Demon-esque – Therefore, his lifespan is now much longer compared to a human’s, he will age slowly physically, and it’s very difficult to kill him. ( Though, it’s difficult to kill him to begin with, but you understand what I mean. )

This means he will live beyond Cecily, Lake, Shion and Crea who are just human.

Everything that makes up the identity of the man everyone knows so fearfully as ‘THE GREAT DEMON LORD RCHIMEDES’ has been carefully constructed with bits and pieces of his past in mind, to serve as a reminder and make him strive to continue his job with the stubbornness that he does, though some of it is more of a distant memory he has trouble remembering considering the amount of time that has passed and his lack of mental stability.

His usual apparel is to mimic the outfit Lake wore the last day Rchimedes saw him before he and Cecily ‘died’ because of machine he left so carelessly in the midst of his research, albeit modified to look more ‘mature’ and ‘cool’, though his fashion tastes are a tad outdated for sure.

While in the body of Crea, he wore red contacts with cross patterns on the eyes. Had he been in his normal body, he most likely would’ve just had contacts that had cross patterns on them considering his natural eye color happens to be red. Cecily always told him one of her favorite things about him was his eyes, therefore it was key to his identity (considering his physical appearance was Crea) to keep some aspects of his true self before taking over the boy’s body.

The long hair, too, is something that is thanks to Cecily – It was more or less an accident on his part, considering he learned she liked him better with long hair after he cut it short on a mere whim. To keep his new identity separate from Crea despite it being his body, he felt this necessary, not to mention it felt more normal after living years with such long hair.

There is also, of course, the markings on his neck  he has permanently made into his skin with magic, as symbolism for the fact he has apparently ‘lost his head/mind’ as the Demon Lord in the eyes of the human populace. It looks very realistic though, making some people think that he might’ve literally used a needle and thread against his skin. ( Maybe he has? Who knows. )

Along with this, on Rchimedes’ lower left leg (Fibularis Longus area), he has similar markings– Though those are very real, courtesy of a rather dangerous battle with Shion in the past as his time as Creasion when Rchimedes’ reign as the Demon Lord was at full force. Naturally, his son didn’t have the courage to completely kill him because of Crea, but he aimed to do his worst to immobilize him. Shion failed, of course, but Rchimedes has to fix the damage. To be completely accurate, he completely healed it normally by reversing time on the area with his magic to return it to normal, but Rchimedes found it beneficial to unnerve Creasion by carving the markings into his leg where it was blown off. ( So yes, this means that Crea would still have the markings there– This is assuming Shion didn’t get rid of it with his magic after he was saved. )

Though Rchimedes’ body is his own now, his mental projection of himself that is the strongest manifested when he was revived by his magic, therefore, hence as to why his appearance is the same as when he possessed Crea. Of course, his mentality would’ve remained the same no matter what form he would’ve taken, but that’s for another time.

Considering that Rchimedes is the creator of Magic and the Demon World, technically speaking he could create any magic he wished to use if he put the effort it requires into creating and perfecting a new kind of magic. (And there is, of course, the fact he’s prone to creating problems while doing so just as he created explosions before the disappearance of Cecily and Lake.)

      ↳     Though because he is the origin of magic, Rchimedes’ strongest magic spells correlate with the original elements– Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. (Electricity-related magic spells are spells he has created solely for himself, hence as to why no one has ever been recorded using such a magic.)

      ↳     The source of how he first gotten involved in magic– the power of ‘Ma’, also known as hatred. 'Ma’ is more used to replenish his power and make Rchimedes grow stronger, but it can also be manipulated to a certain degree. Brooding hate can be sensed in another individual, and with his power Rchimedes has over 'Ma’, he can agitate the growing hatred and drive others into lashing out on said emotion, which in turn only adds oil to the fire and merely proves to feed into his power.

ＧＡＴＥＳ

      ↳     Having gates to Teleport is a power most notable among the Demon Lord family lines– Hence as to why not only Rchimedes can do it, but also the second and third after him. Rchimedes is able to teleport wherever he wishes, whether it’s from the Demon World to the human world or wherever in one specific world. As long as the place comes to mind, Rchimedes is able to create a gate linking to said place.

Gates also have a certain use if Rchimedes is pushed into the offensive position. If one’s entire body isn’t within the gate before its closed, any body part will be completely severed.
