A deal with a demon, and a doomed town. This tragedy begins with blood and fire. So, too, shall it end.

It’s Halloween Month again, so I thought I’d re-share this very odd roadrat fic I wrote during Plague Year 1.

A trio of angry teens summon a demon to take revenge on anyone they felt had wronged them. It was a bad choice, and their bad luck that the demon who answered was Junkrat. The chaos builds slowly, then faster and faster until Junkrat can summon Roadhog to join in the orgy of destruction!

I am absurdly fond of this gore-fest of a fic. It’s so very much not like my usual fare, and far outside my comfort zone, but I am proud of having written it. I love the small moments of beauty nestled into the horror.

I'm doing something new and sharing some of my favorite Roadrat 🐷🐀 Wattpad stories. I've read through these, and I've really been enjoying them. One is still ongoing, and the other two are finished. I'll add links if I can find how to do them, but for now, I'll put up the cover picture and author name.

The first story is by Kaitojake on Wattpad! This story focuses more on a slice of life version of Junk and Hog. So, no overwatch, no powers, just normal people with jobs. This story had me hooked and made me kick my feet in some parts becuase of how cute it was 😭❤️ and had me turning off my phone because I couldn't take the emberessment that junk goes through in some parts *Cough Cough* Car barbecue scene *Cough Cough* 😭🥲 the cliffhanger really got me screaming for more. The story is still ongoing, so I'm really excited to see what happens next! (Oh yeah, there's some nsfw parts, so just be warned beforehand if you don't like to read that stuff!)

The next one is more of a gorey ish horror story by OWwriter on Wattpad. This story focuses on Junkrats Hayseed skin and a farm that Mccree, Hanzo, reaper, and Roadhog own. This is more of a messed up story but still a good read for those who want to read something a little more resembling something from Steven King but with Overwatch characters! (Just like the other story, there's some nsfw parts in this one too!) This one's completed, so don't worry about it being unfinished!

Fans of the Texas chainsaw Massacre will surely love this one! This very interesting story by DekuNois on Wattpad, is a twist on the popular horror classic! Found my self loving and hating curtin characters while reading and found the ending a little bitter sweet.

This one doesn't have any nsfw parts at all besides a little description of cleavage, so this should be a clean read for the non nsfw readers. This one's also completed.

favorite platonic/familial relationships: Obviously him and Junkrat as the ~ultimate mayhem duo~ but I also really like that he and Ana can just kind of chill together. I also like the idea of him being oddly chivalrous around Mercy, like "Oh man she's a ~big deal~ Better look professional."

a headcanon that is popular in the fandom but that i disagree with: Can't really think of one because most of the Hog stans I've seen have had excellent taste and tend to like the character for qualities he actually has. Sometimes they make him too affectionate but they'll usually add the caveat "I know this is OOC." Mad respect for that.

the position they sleep in: Back sleeper, snorer, hands folded over stomach...nothin' spectacularly unusual, that's Junkrat's territory.

a crossover au i’d love to see them in: He needs a skin to match Junkrat's Hayseed. Like come on, he has a *sickle*--give him a farmer skin.

Summary: Every fall, a small town in Ohio hosts its annual harvest festival and every year, someone disappears only to reappear miles away with no memory of what happened to them.

Satya Vaswani is a member of Overwatch, a paranormal investigation organization that deals in monsters, cryptids, ghosts, and ghouls. She is a powerful Summoner, capable of materializing objects out of thin air with the help of her hard light magic. Eager to prove herself on her first solo mission, she heads to the picturesque town of Plainsview to investigate. Her best bet is to look into the town's mascot, the Watchful Scarecrow. Described as having ties to a harvest god and a long-abandoned cult, Satya knows that in her line of work, local legends are more fact than they are fiction.
