The Warrior Cats project of the day is King by Hawktalon! This PMV is an AU set in a Greek-mythology based setting. In it, Brambleclaw is killed by Hawkfrost, setting off a chain of events that were never supposed to happen. StarClan tries to fix this broken timeline, but eventually they give up. As the world falls apart around Squirrelstar, the backgrounds change and glitch, showing what could have and should have been. The colours in this PMV are well-chosen and beautiful, and the AU is super interesting and intriguing!

if the characters seem familiar that's because they are. before hidden roots was a thing, there was a story i made, and for how childish and badly written it was, i liked the concept. but as i expanded hidden roots, it no longer had a place in that universe... so im making another story, much smaller, closer to the original idea.

Skyfall: Timeline of Thegns - The Song of Stars

The Song of Stars is an era of peace for the shires, with a few exceptions. The final laws of the Shire Code are established during this period as are many of the ceremonies, holidays, and religious festivals, hence the name of the era.

Notes:

Law #8 is established under Boulderstrike, Smokefur, Ospreyclaw, Feathersong, and Maplewhisker. This is the Law of Ascension.

Law #9 is established under Graystorm, Flowerstem, Fogwhisper, Acorntail, and Maplewhisker. This is the Law of the Moon.

Law #10 is established under Finchswoop, Marshscar, Reedslash, Dovefur, and Hawktalon. This is the Law of the Truce.

Law #11 is established under Lionfang, Beetleshell, Ivycurl, Fallowbreeze, and Rowanleaf. This is the Law of Patrols.

Law #12 is established under Vinetail, Yellowshine, Ivycurl, Fallowbreeze, and Darkfang. This is the Law of Protection.

Law #13 is established under Vinetail, Yellowshine, Talonswipe, Birchtwig, and Darkfang. This is Darkfang’s Law or the Law of Command.

Law #14 is established under Morningheart, Sedgeleap, Willowsway, Rabbitear, and Fennelseed. This is the Law of Mercy.

The first few designs I have are the four leaders of Omenclan!

Shimmerstar is Omenclan’s first leader, and unfortunately had a short reign over the clan. She was killed by Hawktalon as he took over the clan.

Hawkstar is Omenclan’s second leader, he was ambitious, and lead wars against many other clans that Omenclan could not win. His reign came to an end, though as his deputy, Ramblinghail, killed him. He was not welcomed into Starclan, and was exiled to the Dark Forest.

Ramblingstar is Omenclan’s third leader, they were well respected in the clan and one of the eldest warriors at the time. After Hawkstar’s awful reign, they helped the clan heal from the wounds that he left.

Loudstar is Omenclan’s fourth leader, and she led the clan very well. As she grew older, though, she let her deputy start taking the lead on clan business.

Crowkit was born to Meadowslip, alongside his sister Hillkit. His older brother Cloudrunner already had a mate, and soon they were joined by their nephew, Gorsekit. When Hillkit died, Crowkit and Gorsekit grew very close, even becoming apprentices at the same time even though they had an age difference. Crowpaw looked up to his mentor Mudclaw, seeing him a the pinnacle of a great warrior, the best candidate for the next leader, and even a father figure. When Tigerstar brings his forces to Windclan, Crowpaw once again witnesses someone he saw as a sibling die too young, killed as a message. Crowpaw had always disliked Onewhisker, and now Crowpaw felt he had good reason to; Onewhisker is a weak warrior who couldn’t even defend his apprentice! When Hopfoot dies in the Bloodclan battle, and Mudclaw is made deputy, Crowice is so overjoyed at this, he hardly realizes that his brother Cloudrunner had died in the very same battle.

It has around... four or five chapters left? Maybe less. I was originally doing both Kingdom Come and Outlanders at the same time back in 2018 or so, but stopped and put Outlanders on hiatus to focus on KC and get it done so I don't have to do two things at once lol

New favourite character alert. In what is in my opinion the golden standard for clangen comics.

I love many clangen comics here on Tumblr but most feel very disconnected, like just randomly generated events, which is what clangen is, in all fairness. To take a clangen save file and create a story people get so invested in, crafting continuity a scenario generator is incapable of, taking bits and pieces of completely random events and facts and characters to create a cohesive story, or at the very least a timeline telling a multitude of stories, that is incredibly! This takes a massive amount of skill in story writing and knowledge of writing stories. And that is all without a single word on the simple yet gorgeous visuals.

Seriously one of my top 20 warrior cats art styles of all time. Right up there with things that earn that place with nostalgia like SSS Warrior cats, Blixemi, or one of my favourite comic’s on my Deviantart days, ArualMeow’s long running webcomic (And she later went on to make a non-fan comic in a similar vain to warriors, cat centric survival fanatsy, that I also adore!), or Hawktalon’s comic which in my mind is completely unmatched. Unicornic is a very recent one. Of every clip of every Warriors map I’ve watched. And your comic about Splinterclan makes it to the leader board, I just love how it looks like you don’t even struggle with same face syndrome?!?! How?! Your character design ability’s are miles above my standards-

In every sense of the word, I need you to know, that as someone who spends way too much time making/consuming art and comics, this is a masterpiece.

I cannot wait to see every single update and new comic page that comes out for however long you continue Splinterclan.
